Episode: Gay Witch Hunt (Season 3, Episode 1)

Lincoln talks to Oscar

Lincoln rarely got mad, sure he did numerous times when he was growing up, and had fights or arguments with his sisters. But that was normal with families, especially with his family.

But this was one of the few times he was angry that didn't involve his family, and he wanted to punch or yell at a couple of people.

Mainly his coworkers, which would include Michael, Dwight, and Angela.

Michael, he can forgive, he didn't do it out of malicious intent, but out of ignorance, and lacking common sense… it sorta reminded him of Lisa, but that was different circumstances. Lincoln always wondered how Michael hasn't been beaten up with how some of the stuff he says to people. But Michael also wanted to genuinely help, so he didn't hold it against him. But Lincoln could also tell that Michael wasn't homophobic, and made a note to explain the concept to Michael in order to help him understand.

But at least he tried to fix it. Even though with how he did it... was up for debate.

He shuttered at the awkward kiss Michael gave to Oscar.

Dwight, he was sure he was just following Michael's orders, and the whole 'Gaydar' thing was just dumb. Although he did chuckle a little with how Jim fooled them with that. But he wasn't sure what Dwight's stance of homosexuals was. The man was an oddball, and sometimes made Lincoln uneasy. Although he did bond with Dwight regarding anything pop-culture and science fiction related, and also other shared interests. So he was stuck either thinking Dwight was a weirdo, or an okay guy.

Luckily he had experience with Zach and his family, not to say his friend and his family were weirdo's, they were big alien/monster hunters, so not anything bad.

Everyone else, he could wave off, he wasn't going to fault them. They seemed supportive, but the way they were treating Oscar seemed both awkward, and ill-timed.

Although Angela was a different story. The woman reminded him of Lori and Lola when he was growing up. So he was both used to and annoyed by her. And she seemed to be on the homophobic side. And he would say he held back from yelling at her, but he sorta did yell at her. People like her always got his nerves.

But back to the matter at hand, Lincoln didn't really do much to help. He regretted not doing more. Heck, when Luna came out, he was the first person she told, supported and helped her tell the rest of the family.

So he knew what he was going to do.

Lincoln saw Oscar leave, due to corporate telling him he could leave early, and he also had vacation time, the later was due to the events of what happened that day, and the company not wanting to get sued.

Lincoln checked his phone, got up, and went into Michael's office.

"Hey Michael, Ronnie Anne texted me, and she said she needs me for something urgent. Is it cool that I leave?"

Michael grinned and said," Sure, Linc. Have fun." He said the last part with knowing look and winked.

Lincoln blinked and refrained from rolling his eyes, knowing what Michael thought was going to happen.

"Yeah, Michael really needs to get his mind out of the gutter." Lincoln said with the shake of his while he was being interviewed.

"I'm just glad he bought my bogus text. Well time to do what I was planning on doing."

Oscar was about to walk out of the building, but he heard footsteps, and he turned around to see Lincoln sprinting, and stopped when he got near him.

"Hey, Oscar." Lincoln greeted.

Oscar raised a brow, and said," Hey Lincoln." He said with a guarded expression.

Lincoln sighed, and said," I just wanted to see how you were doing, and I wanted to say my own piece. I sorta did earlier today, but I felt I needed to say more. If it's alright?"

Oscar thought about it, his day was something he hoped he wouldn't go through again. Although seeing calm and cool Lincoln actually yelling was something he's never thought he see. But he was glad that Lincoln was on his side, from the looks of it.

Oscar nodded, and Lincoln sighed in relief.

"Yeah, I just want to say, I'm sorry you had to go through that. And if you ever deal with anything like that, I'll support you. Believe me, I know what you are going through. My sister Luna is bi, and she was scared about coming out, but after she did to me, I helped her, and she became more confident. Sure there were people who weren't as nice. But my family and I had her backs. Not to mention how my best friend had two dads. One of them being Stanley's brother, not sure you or the others knew that, but that's the truth. Just, know I got your back. And you shouldn't hold it against everyone, to some extent, they meant well but it came out as awkward. So how about it?"

Oscar nodded, and grinned a little, feeling the white haired guys words helpful.

"Thanks Lincoln, uh, yeah that did help. And thank you." Oscar said with a small smile.

Lincoln smiled as well, and held out his hand, and the both of them shook it.

"No problem. You should probably go before I do. I told Michael that Ronnie Anne needed me for something. Just so the others don't start another rumor."

Oscar chuckled, and said," Yeah, I remember how we all thought you had a thing for Pam after Jim left."

Lincoln chuckled at that, even though the whole thing still annoyed him and Pam, they did find humor in it.

But overall, Lincoln was glad he helped and lifted Oscar's spirits a little. He did promise himself to help others like Oscar and Luna.
