To Junya Ikeda. Hope your days become bright, as you did for me years ago. Thank you, Spectacular Silver Pirate.

When the Gokaigers arrived on Earth, they found numerous treasures left behind by the legendary 34 Super Sentai teams. Although viewed as vigilantes by the pro heroes, the public have seen them as heroes despite the team's denial of their heroic deeds. But in the eyes of a local fan boy, they always shine brighter than all the silver in the world. They were heroes despite their goal to find the 'Greatest Treasure in the Universe', they seemed to always find a way to help civilians. A young Izuku Midoriya wanted to be a hero like them, but sadly the world has slapped him with the cruel reality that caused him to give up his lifelong dream. Today, he decided to not enroll in high school because of the stress of him being quirkless. He took odd jobs to help support his mother and was often seen doing community service, as a way for him to become a hero through small acts of kindness.

Yet, little did anyone know, behind that smile is the mask of a broken man. Haunted by the nightmares that replay the moments of his life where his former childhood friend told him to go kill himself and knowing he would get away with it. Because no one would care for a quirkless nobody like him. Then the moment that broke him, the day that even his idol rejected his dream of being a hero like him. Leaving the young boy alone on the roof, it was that moment he wanted to jump off the roof… His heart beats faster… Palms get sweaty… His breath shortening from the very thought of ending his very life. Screaming at the top of his lungs and jumping back away from the ledge. Tears staining the ground floor, wanting to throw up, breathing himself for thinking that will solve everything. He cried that very evening until it was out of his system. Nowadays he slowly recovers, looking towards the sunny blue skies, with a small smile on his face, "Maybe tonight, I'll make some curry."

But that happiness ends as he witnesses the ground breaking apart and out from it is the leader of the yakuza, Overhaul, holding on to a little girl. Upcoming pro hero, Lemillion and leader of the Gokaigers, GokaiRed follow him in pursuit. The red pirate changed into RedHawk of Jetman and soar into the sky to strike him. Lemillion sinks into the ground and attacks Overhaul. But the villain dodges, making both heroes crash into each other. But GokaiRed quickly shoots Overhaul into the shoulder, making him drop the little girl.

Lemillion just stood there, not doing anything, which irks the red hero. But surprise to see a civilian coming to catch the little girl in his arms, "Are you okay?" he said to her,

"Please let me go… I don't want you to get hurt because of me!" she cried in fear,

He sees himself in the girl, a scared and lonely kid that has no future, he shakes his head and masks his own sorrow to assure her that… "Nonsense, everything will be okay…"

She looked at the boy with eyes wide, a warmth behind his words, she couldn't understand it. Behind his smile is his fears but yet he is doing this for her sake, he wasn't going to leave her behind like other one did before. She felt safe. She is in the arms of her hero.

Spikes coming out of the ground, piercing everything above it. Izuku noticed this and quickly ran away from the hazard below. Holding on to the girl tight, "Don't worry, I'll take you somewhere less spikey and more smooth," he joked with his cracking voice, then he sees the Gokai Galleon flying above them, they lower down with GokaiPink holding on to the ship's anchor,

"Hurry!" Izuku nods and hands the girl to the pink pirate but gets confused when she offers her hand to him, "You too!"

He shakes his head, "She's more important,"

"But Mr. Hero-" Izuku felt a piercing pain in his chest, he looked down and saw one of the spikes coming through his chest. Time stopped between the three, Izuku looked back at the little girl and smiled,

"It's okay. Everything will be okay, Super Sentai will save the day… As they have for many years…" he then coughed blood,

"No!" she cried,

"W-What's your name?" he asked as the color on his face turning pale,

"E-Eri…"

He laughed lightly, "What a beautiful name," seeing Eri tears flowing down her face, Izuku decided to give her his true smile. Brighter than the sun and stopped her crying, "Smile, Eri." Then his body went limp but his smile never faded. The pink Gokaiger held the girl close as they ascended to the ship.

The young man woke up in a bright lit area, looking around, he knew where he was. The afterlife, death have finally claimed his life and are now taking him to paradise. But then he thinks about the little girl that watched him die. How it's going to traumatize her. Then he thought about his mother. How will she take the news of his death? This will surely kill her. His thoughts are swarming with beration for his reckless action that got him killed in the end. He just can't stop thinking about how useless he really is and how much of a failure he sees himself now.

"Izuku Midoriya." His thoughts halted as he heard a voice calling out to him. Is it God calling him to the light? The brightness faded into a small meadow, he took a few steps and see a green hero with a golden shield,

"Dragon-Ranger!?" Then hears a gun tapping against the forearm, and out came a red hero holding a rex theme gun, "Time Fire!?" Both heroes walked towards him while Izuku noticed someone sitting down and now getting up. A white hero with a petra/dragon motif, "And AbareKiller, too!?"

The aforementioned AbareKiller turned around, "I'm surprised that you know of us. Super Sentai was forgotten because of the rise of quirks,"

"I-I have a hobby that researches all heroes, new and old," he stammered, not knowing how to react to them being up close,

The white hero chuckled, "You're pretty careless with your life, considering how young you are,"

Izuku looked away, "Y-Yeah… But the girl… she looked like she needed to be saved…"

"Considering how the first hero she sees turned her back on her. You risked your life trying to protect her without any regard for your own life," he shakes his head fondly, "Reminds me of someone I know," He reached into his pocket and handed Izuku something. A cellular changer and a key similar to the Gokaigers, "Take this Gokai Cellular and Ranger Key we've created,"

Izuku takes it, unsure what to do, "But are you making the right choice? What if I fail? You could have picked a better candidate than me,"

AbareKiller spoke to him again, "You gotta learn how to take a leap of faith. Was it a mistake for you to save that little girl?"

"N-No…"

"Was it a mistake for you to decide to save her without thinking?"

"N-No…"

"Was it a mistake for you to finally become a hero?"

Everything became slow, Izuku looked down on the changing devices, was it all really a mistake? If it was then he should have ended his life on that day. But yet he didn't. He continued on. This aura in his soul is amplified by the thoughts of his own actions. Why did he decide to save Eri? All he remembered was that no one was going to catch the falling girl. Then his legs suddenly moved on his own with his arms holding out for her. Soon he was running for dear life with her in his arms, he could have put her down yet he didn't. Everything became a blur until his death.

The dead ranger spoke to him, "Use them, and become a hero,"

Izuku quickly turned around, "What do you mean?" his eyes tearing up,

"I'm saying that you too can be a hero, Izuku Midoriya," he then walks to the other deceased heroes, "We are entrusting you with the Ultimate Powers of Abarangers, Timerangers, and Zyurangers." The three are turning into balls of energy,

"But how I-" Then everything turned bright.

The rest of the Gokaigers joined their captain and let out their anger on Overhaul. Changing into different Sentai teams to weaken him as they use some of their combined attacks, "You hero pretenders…" Overhaul spoke, "Don't know the value of Eri! How using her flesh and blood to reverse everything back to normal! I won't let my work be thwarted by a bunch of pirates!" then he gets bullet in the face,

"Shut up," GokaiRed said, "Save your complaining for all the punks we send to hell,"

Overhaul's face was partially damaged and looked at the rangers in rage, "SHUT! SHUT UP! SHUT UP! SHUT UP! SHUT UP!" He tried to attack but it was blocked by someone unexpected,

The figure is revealed to be Izuku, where his wound is fully healed, leaving only a huge hole in his clothes. With new determination in his face, he pulled out his Gokai Cellular and silver Ranger key which surprised the pirate sentai, "Gokai Change!" He inserted the key into the cellular and transformed him into a silver pirate with a trident as a weapon, "The Silver Hope! GoooooKaiiiiiiSilver!" Then a silver explosion happened behind him.

Overhaul, now pissed off, tries to attack the new silver hero. But he is out speed by GokaiSilver then get hit by the trident many times,

"I will not let eri be hurt by someone like you!" he swings the weapon and strikes the villain expertly, "I will be a hero for her sake!" Then he slashes down on him, forcing him to slide back, "I will live for the sake of those I care about!"

Before he could continue, he was stopped by GokaiRed, "Nice showy performance, new guy. But let us show you what we can do." The Gokaiger inserted their keys into their weapons, charging them up into one final attack.

FINAL WAVE

A wave of charged up energy hit Overhaul and caused a showy explosion, knocking him out. The Gokaigers, including Silver left, though some of the UA students interning and some pro heroes have witnessed it. The sixth Gokaiger.

Meanwhile on the Galleon, the Gokaiger changed back to their civilian clothing, to see Eri hiding behind the captain's chair with Navi near her, "Oi, no need to be scared," the captain said though that scares her,

"Marvelous!" Ahim scolded their captain, then the silver Gokaiger goes up to her in a gentle manner,

"Hey, it's okay. The bad man is taken care off," he unclapse his helmet to reveal his face to her, "I'm glad that you're safe, Eri"

"Mr. Hero…" she ran to him and hugged around his neck and cried, "I'm sorry!"

"It's okay. It's okay. It's okay. Everything will be alright," he said to her while comforting her the best way he could.

Meanwhile the Gokaigers Talk amongst themselves,

"What are we going to do with them?" Doc, the green pirate, asked,

"Don't know," Joe, the blue pirate, answered,

"But that boy over there has some nifty treasure," Luka, the yellow pirate, interested in how Izuku gained a Gokai changer and a ranger key,

"It's best to keep them around as their faces are widely known, whether for good or for worse," Ahim said, worried for Izuku as now people are will think he is affiliated with the Gokaigers,

"Well for now, we have some new members of the crew," Marvelous said, "Doc, prepare a meal for the girl and a bed,"

"Yes, captain!"

"Ahim, since you're the cutest, you deal with boy,"

"Eh?"

"By the end of the day, we'll get some answers." The captain looks at the two guests with worry but denies it as he was more worried about finding the treasure, but in reality, Eri reminded him or rather all of the crew of how the Zangyack Empire ruined their lives. He'll be damned to let it happen in front of their eyes.

AN: Another short one shot. So it's mostly about the idea of a depressed Izuku, how we used to see it in other forms of fanfiction. But give it some twists, how he will become a bright beacon of hope like Gai was in the show. Also it mixes well, since both are fanboys.

Quick question: Would you think the King Ohgers would be downright pissed at Mirio for turning his back on Eri when she wanted to be saved? Like I have seen how the King Ohgers care about their people, particularly Kugawa Ohger. Seeing how he had a choice in saving a little girl but decided not to. I kinda see them point their swords at Mirio and order him to stay away from Eri.
