Act 1: Part 4

[151]

Dipper:

Looking at the item in question in the story, he turns to see the Totem Lathe placed in the new space.

"Okay, well this is… interesting…" he said.

Webby:

Looking at how the item was placed, Webby did the same, as she clicked on the Totem Lathe in the selection, dragged it and placed it on the new space she made.

She felt happy with her work so far and interested to see what else she can do.

[152]

Dipper:

"I guess it has something to do with Totems or something?" Dipper tries to understand the purpose of the object.

Webby:

"whatever it does, I hope it would be worth it in the end," Webby said, clicking onto the next page.

[153]

Dipper:

Reading the pesterlog from John and TT, Dipper was now a little curious about the disks.

As he recalls, he only got one disk of the game, and guess it's the same for Webby. And judging on the results, it seems he has the client while she has the host.

He wonders if he would have the host disk or if it's included in his game and probably can manipulate the environment on someone else's home, either from Webby or one of the unknown users.

He'll keep this as a mental note and clicked on the next page, as the grist image seems to be for the host, not the client.

Webby:

Webby looked at the image and surprised to see that there is a currency in this game, she clicked on her Grist Cache and like TT, she has the same amount, probably because she expanded Dipper's room the same as TT did with John's room.

It was something to note and have a feeling all these currencies are going to play an important role to progress in the game.

[154]

Dipper:

"So that's where the second copy is," Dipper said, remembering the car that has the box.

He then reads the pesterlogs that had TT suggest John to stand in the corner try something.

Seeing the reason, he was curious and clicked on the next page to see if it works

Webby:

"Wait, if she's right about this, does that mean the limit is from the player, not the building itself?" Webby asked.

"guess it make sense," Lena added, "wouldn't be useful if the player is out of bounds.

[155]

Dipper:

"Player-based limit it is," Dipper said, a little glad to know that it's not manipulation of the building, but rather wherever Dipper goes to. Which made him wonder how it all works, but that would be a mystery he has to solve.

Webby:

"Great, now you got your book and your phone," Webby said, happy for John to get his items,

But happier when she sees more stuff being deployed.

[156]

Dipper:

"Another item for Webby to deploy," Dipper said, looking around to see the item being placed.

But nothing happened.

"guess she's taking her time." Dipper considered before clicking on the next page.

Webby:

"Okay, time to place the Cruxtruder next," Webby said, finding a good place to put it.

Following the instruction of the story, she had an idea.

[OS-16]

Mabel and Soos were watching the latest episode of Ducktective. As much as they enjoy the show, they know that the series finale is coming up, with so many mysteries left to uncover, they were unsure how they're going to do it. Which is why watching the remaining episodes would cover them down.

Without them knowing, a yellow house mouse was clicking on the table and chairs and start moving them away to make room.

Soos turn and notice the floating and dropping chairs.

"Uh, little dude." Soos spoke to Mabel, "what's going on over there?"

"Quiet, something is happening," Mabel said, focused on the TV than anything else.

Right when the Cruxtruder was placed where the table was.

"I don't know, now there's a strange-looking thing that… oh my gosh," now his focus was shifted to the TV that had a twisting reveal.

[157]

Dipper:

"And another one," Dipper said, still waiting for the items but nothing happened.

Webby:

"Time to put another." Webby cheerfully said as she does the same with something called an 'Alchemiter'.

But unlike John's image, the Mystery Shack doesn't have a stable roof to place the object.

So, she has to improvise.

[OS-17]

"And here my folks are the creatures that you have never seen before," Stan announces to naive tourists who were looking around the Shack, taking snapshots and being impressed.

Then all of the sudden, a strange-looking object appeared out of nowhere, jumping stand as it drops.

"What the?" he shouted before turning to see the confused tourist.

"Uhh… behold, the appearing and disappearing… uh… round thing…"

The tourist buys Stan's improvision and taken pictures.

"Each picture will cost you," Stan announces.

[158]

Dipper:

"Or that he's just a regular businessman," Dipper said. Though found the 'serious business application interesting, as it shows more about his dad.

Webby:

"Now you can use your PDA… screw it, it's a phone, you can use it to call your friends," Webby said, a little curious about the next link that suggests a possible way to contact Dipper.

[159]

Dipper:

"So Pesterchum works on phones," Dipper said, with a sudden alarm on his phone.

He digs into his pockets to find that both the story and Pesterchum are connected to his phone.

Guess it would be convenient for when he is away from the computer, though having a feeling that it's going to be hard looking at the images due to the size of the screen

Webby:

Just as she got her phone, she found out that two apps were added, the story and Pesterchum.

"Okay, that's pretty neat," Webby said.

[160]

Dipper:

"At this point, I need to know where Webby put this Alchemiter" Dipper sighed, standing up from his computer and start to pester Webby.

Webby:

"okay time to find out about… wait a minute," Webby said when she got a notification on the pesterchum, Dipper is pestering her.

She answers, curious as to what he wants.

[OS-18]

- PinesDecipher [PD] began pestering GrandAdventureGirl [GA]

PD: Okay, where is this Alchemiter?

GA: I was wondering when you get to that

GA: I placed it somewhere else

GA: In the place with the strange stuff,

GA: An old looking creature was talking to a bunch of other creatures

GA: And they were taking pictures of it

PD: Wait what!?

Dipper: Rush to the Mystery Shack Museum

[OS-19]

Dipper stood from his went downstairs, taking a turn around and through the hallway.

Till he was in the biggest part of the room and saw the same object from the story in the middle of the room.

"This isn't good…" Dipper said, going on his phone.

PD: Webby, why did you put it there?

GA: What? thought it was a good place to put it, big open space and a lot of interesting artefacts

PD: I think I need to bring this up and be straight with you

PD: My great uncle Stan

PD: He's a con-artist

GA: A what?

PD: I'm living in a tourist trap and he makes up fake artifacts to fool customers into paying him to look at them

GA: I see…

PD: And he's in the middle of a tour, so I can't interrupt until the tourist leaves

GA: Well in the meantime, keep reading, maybe we'll find out what we need to do next while we wait

PD: Okay,

PD: But it's going to be hard talking to Grunkle Stan

[161]

Dipper:

"Nothing new to report," Dipper read the text on his phone before turning around to see Stan allowing tourists to stand on the Alchemiter, Stan with his sack and the tourist putting money inside before they stand on the platform.

"Of course you do that…"

Typical Stan, using anything to scam people to get their cash.

Webby:

"Well, maybe he's doing something wrong." Webby suggested, "it looks like a platform of some sort."

She looked at the other screen to see people standing on the platforms. "But not for a person… maybe for something…"

[162]

Dipper:

"Wouldn't that blind you, looking at the sun through a telescope?" Dipper questions the images.

Webby:

"Good!" Webby smiled, "but always be prepare for invaders or things that set out to kill you."

[163]

Dipper:

"That's not good," Dipper said, watching TT grabbing the toilet.

And a little suspicious that Webby might do the same.

Webby:

Webby meanwhile did nothing to make expands or anything, she was browsing more of the place.

As it turns out the place has an underground facility, the second lower floor was hidden from her, but the third one had someone that looks similar to one of the creatures working on experiments.

"Dipper sure lives in an interesting shack." She said. All while chuckling at the fact that TT accidentally picked up the toilet.

[164]

Dipper:

"Yeah, that's not happening," Dipper said

Webby:

"At least you put it somewhere." Webby said, "it's outside but better than broken, now it can… look weird…"

[165]

Dipper:

"I think I need to look at that as well," Dipper said, thinking about pestering Webby when John gets to it.

Webby:

"Now there's a weapon you can use." Webby looked at the bright side of the situation, "with every problem comes benefits."

[166]

(Not much to say as the image and text is not much to react to)

[167]

Dipper:

"Another weapon for your… strife thing." Dipper said, a little curious about the whole 'strife' thing and wonder how he's going to use it. He would guess he has to first set a kind, but he has to find a weapon first.

Webby:

"Two weapons at once." Webby said, "always come in handy.

[168]

Dipper:

"Okay, who is it this time?" Dipper asked.

Webby:

"is it turntech, TT? Or someone new?" Webby wonders.

[169]

Dipper:

The pesterlog reveals who it was, it wasn't either of the Ts but a new name, 'gardenGnostic'.

The word sounds like the person is a cheerful person who wanted to know if their friend got their package.

Though a little worrisome about a mention of an explosion.

Webby:

The pesterlog reveals who it was, it wasn't either of the Ts but a new name, 'gardenGnostic'.

"And now we got the colours together." Webby said, now curious about who their 'green' is going to be.

As for the mention of an explosion, she was a little curious but know that she has to stick with John, which was a shame, but hopefully, it would be answered, like Launchpad's adventures.

[OS-20]

Before Dipper click continues, he went back on the Pesterchat with Webby.

PD: So where did you put this Cruxtruder?

GA: The what?

PD: The other thing you placed

GA: Oh that

GA: I put it in your living room

Of course, she did.

Dipper sighed and got up, going to the living room as he clicks on the next page.

[170]

Dipper:

When Dipper arrived at the living room, he notices the Cruxtruder where the table and chairs used to be.

And Soos and Mabel, who has yet seen the object in question.

"Oh, hey dude." Soos turn to see Dipper. "have you notice the weird thing over there."

"Yeah… I have…" Dipper said a little weirded out that

"What are you talking about?" Mabel asked, now realise the object beside her, "Woah, what is that?"

"That's what I want to know," Dipper said, looking at his phone and seeing if there's any interesting information.

Only for the information being that TT trapped John inside his home.

"At least she didn't put it at the front of any exits," Dipper said.

Webby:

Webby looked at both images, one showing John looking at the Cruxtruder while the other had Dipper talking to two people about their Cruxtruder.

This is once again, another moment where she wanted to hear them, but she could guess the game wouldn't allow it.

[171]

Dipper:

"You seriously need to stop doing that?" Dipper comments on the page. Before looking up at Mabel and Soos, "just be glad Webby isn't doing this to us."

"Who's Webby?" Soos asked.

"She's Dipper's new girlfriend. The girl smiled causing Dipper to look surprised.

"She's not really." he corrected, "she's a duck, who can control my surroundings… I know it sounds crazy but."

"Yeah, it makes sense," Soos said. "Ducks are awesome, bro, they can do anything!"

"Well, we need to figure out how this thing works." Dipper pointed to the object while clicking on the next page."

Webby:

Webby laughed at the following gif on-screen.

"First the toilet, now the bathtub!" Webby said as she continues to laugh.

Lena meanwhile smiled at Webby's enjoyment, "hey Webby, maybe you should do the same to that human kid, Dipper. That way we would be accurate to the story." She suggested, even though Webby couldn't hear her. "Well, worth a try…"

[172]

Dipper:

As Dipper look at the image and text, Soos tried to rotate the wheel on the Cruxtruder, but like the image, it didn't budge.

"Seems this wheel is really tight." Soos pointed out, "I'll go fetch my toolbox and see if I can loosen it up." He then left the room to get his stuff.

Webby:

"Looks like something is blocking the pipe." Webby pointed out, noticing both John and the chubby creature trying to rotate the wheel to no avail.

"Maybe remove the lid before turning it more."

[173]

Dipper:

"Why even drag the entire bathtub in the driveway?" Dipper questions TT's actions before facepalming when the tub was dropped in the living room

Webby:

"Well, that isn't good." Webby comments.

[174]

Dipper:

"Inconvient internet connections." Dipper sighs, knowing what it's like to have lost the internet on important things.

Webby:

"Well… at least we don't have to worry about that." Webby said, "Scrooge has the cheapest best Wi-Fi money can buy.

[175]

Dipper:

Looking at the next page, Dipper figured out what he needs to do.

"Okay, Mabel." Dipper said to his sister, "according to this, we need to smack the device top with something heavy."

Hearing this, the girl twin quickly thought of an idea, "oh, I know."

"Hold on…" Dipper said pressing the button.

Webby:

Webby notice what John is doing and smiled that he has some form of an idea.

And happy that the girl on-screen had a similar idea, as she pulls out a grabbing hook and aims directly at the device.

[176]

Dipper:

"We need to figure out how to open the device. So we need to use something as heavy as a sledgehammer, so maybe when Soos gets back!"

But Mabel didn't listen, she pulled the trigger and kit the chandelier above the device, which went down an angle and hit directly at the device.

From Dipper's shock, she unexpectedly pressed to the next page on his phone.

Webby:

"You go!" Webby cheered for the girl on screen while seeing John using the hammer. "Grabbing hook!"

[177]

Dipper:

Both the twins looked at the device as it does the same as the device did on the page. As the top went off, and out came two shiny, blinking weird orbs, floating above them, one was pink, the other was blue.

"What in the world?" Dipper was confused, looking at his phone to see that John has the same orb. But what's weird was that he has two instead of one.

Webby:

"Wow. What is are those things?" Webby said, amazed by the orbs.

Lena took a closer look, a little confused but also concerned, as the orbs seem to have somewhat magical properties.

"I don't know about this…" she said.

[178]

Dipper:

Seeing a timer on the page, Dipper looks at his own Cruxtruder, to notice that it too had a timer. As it shows 5:43 and counting.

"I don't know about this…" Dipper said, a little concern for the timer, and a little worried for when it reaches zero.

But for now, he followed what TT said and clicked on the next page.

Webby:

"Okay, now it's getting more suspicious," Lena said, as Webby kept being cheerful and clicking on the next hyperlink.

[179]

Dipper:

"Oh hey, you managed to do it." Soos enters the scene, looking at Dipper who was turning the wheel and a cylinder pops out of the Cruxtruder but unlike the light blue cylinder that John has, this had two halves, one light blue the other pink.

Webby:

"Oh good," Webby said, "you got a… Cruxite Dowel?"

It was a word that Webby was unfamiliar with, but rolls with it, she could only guess it would be important.

[180]

Dipper:

Looking at the Cruxite, Dipper has a clear idea of what he has to do, especially when he looked at his phone that shows John cataloguing the item.

"Okay." He closed his eyes, "better make this useful.

He held out his hand towards the Cruxite Dowel and suddenly, he could feel that the item was in his sylladex.

Meanwhile, Soos and Mabel look at Dipper and the Cruxite and surprised to see the item disappear.

"Woah… what happened?" Mabel asked.

"Yeah dude, the whole thing just disappeared," Soos added.

"It's… complicated…" Dipper said, "let's just say I have an inventory space, the same as John has in this story."

"Wow, that sounds very cool dude." Soos smiled, "so you can carry thing in your invisible pocket?"

"From what I can understand, I can collect up to three things," Dipper explained, "but I can only use the first thing in my inventory. And if I try to captchalogue something while my inventory is full, the last item would be pushed out."

"Still, that's awesome." Soos was still impressed. "what are we going to do next?"

"Well let's just see…" Dipper looks down at the phone and goes onto the next page.

Webby:

Seeing John and Dipper captchaloguing the items, Webby smiled towards the scene. As the girl and the guy seemed like a trio that does adventures. Similar to how she does adventures with Scrooge, the triplets and Launchpad. So far, she can see Dipper being the Huey of the group while the big man with the question mark can be like Launchpad.

After Dipper clicked on the next page, Webby did the same.

[181]

Dipper:

Dipper looked at TT putting a card for John to get. He quickly looked up to see Webby doing the same.

"Where did that come from?" Soos asked, surprised by the card.

"Webby," Dipper answered, approaching the card and clicking on the next page.

Webby:

After seeing what to do next. Webby gone back to the menu and select the card, then placed it in the living room.

"There's your card," Webby said. Proud of what she did.

[182]

Dipper:

Dipper captchalogue the punched card, causing the inventory to be full.

"Yeah, now I have no space." Dipper said, "if I added more then this would happen."

He showed both Mabel and Soos the gif image of John captchaloging the card and a shard of glass to throw out, slicing off one of the thorns of the harlequin' hat.

"Before you say anything, I got a can of Pitt Soda, meaning that if I add something in my inventory the can will go out. so don't tell me to add anything until I get a card to add space."

With that, both Soos and Mabel nodded, now interested in the game Dipper was playing.

Webby:

"Poor jester…" Webby said a little sad that the harlequin was damaged.

"Again, the inventory can be weaponized." Lena pointed out.

[183]

Dipper:

"Wait, why is he collecting two harlequins?" Soos asked.

"Because of his fetch modus" Dipper answered, "he has another fetch modus that let him pick the last item instead of the first."

"Okay, so he did that so he can use his phone." Soos said, "say how come you're using your phone if you captchalogue inventory thing is full?"

"Because, unlike John, I'm not an idiot."

Webby:

"More Harlequins added to his inventory!" Webby said, "but now the big harlequin is scarred."

[184]

Dipper:

"I was wondering what that is," Dipper said, as the three looked at the two orbs floating around, "according to the page they're called a Kernelsprite and we need to prototype them."

"What do you mean prototype?" Mabel asked.

"I don't know, but I think it means putting something in the orb or something?" Dipper guess based on the hyperlink.

Suddenly, there was a knock on the door near the stairs, "I'll get it." Mabel said, rushing towards the door.

Webby:

"So we just need to drop something on the orb?" Webby said, getting a picture of what prototyping means. "maybe like a thing, not an object like a creature or a person. I'll take a look."

Webby then proceed to look around the place, she notices some creatures, such as a goat and a pig, but also the other exhibits in the Mystery Shack, even if they're fake, they are concepts. Meaning it can count for this whole prototyping.

She starts to figure out the best choice.

[185 and OS-21]

Mabel: opens the door

The girl approaches the door and opened it, revealing a familiar face that she dislikes.

"Oh… hey Pacifica," Mabel said with a frown. "What do you want this time?"

"I need your help," she started, "a while ago, something appeared and I need your brother's nerd brain to solve it."

"Well unfortunately he's very busy at the minute." Mabel let go of the door and folded her arms, "he helped you once with the ghost problem at your place, so what's going on this time around."

"I don't have time or patience with this Mabel." Pacifica grows, annoyed by someone she didn't like since she first met her.

"Well, your problem has to wait, because we got something very important."

"Look… what do you…"

before she could continue, a sudden noise shouted behind the girls.

"SHMEBULOCK!"

Suddenly, a Gnome, mostly known as Shmebulock, jumped out, scaring both Mabel and Pacifica, before running into the building and going around the place, causing both Dipper and Soos to be jumped by the rampaging gnome.

"Mabel what did you do!?" Dipper shouted as Shmebulock climb on Dipper, running around while Dipper tries to get a hold of the gnome.

"I did nothing!" Mabel defended herself, as she and the blonde girl enter the scene "the gnome followed Pacifica."

"Oh don't you dare blame me!" she argued at Mabel.

"hold still dude," Soos approach Dipper just when Shmebulock jump on the repairman, "Ahh! Get it off me!" he shouted as the gnome crawl all over Soos.

Dipper looked around and saw a broom nearby, he quickly grabs it and armed it, "hold still!" he shouted before using it to hit Soos in the face, while he did hurt him, it knocked back the gnome, which landed on the blue Kernelsprite.

[186]

Dipper:

Dipper went to the next page accidentally but focused more on what he, Soos, Mabel and Pacifica was looking at.

He looked down to see a blinking harlequin before looking up at the head of Shmebulock the gnome.

He has so many questions and could imagine everyone around him had many questions as well. He clicked on the next page, hoping to find some answers.

Webby:

Meanwhile, for Webby, who has experienced the entirety of both the Homestuck story and what Dipper was doing, she was in complete awe of what's going on, with new people being added and what seemed to be a gnome appearing and being prototyped.

"Well… that happened…" Webby stuttered…

[187]

Dipper:

"So there wasn't really a good reason to do this." Dipper said, causing both Mabel and Soos to be in shock, then at the pink floating orb that based on the page, doesn't seem to have importance, "so I guess there's no good reason to prototype the other kernelsprite."

"I'm still out of the loop guys," Pacifica mentioned.

"Follow me." Dipper said as Dipper walk away from the time ticking device with Soos and Mabel following him, leaving Pacifica, "wait a minute, I still need to tell you something… and a whole lot of other things." She shouted, following Dipper as well.

Webby:

"Alright, to the Alchemiter!" Webby said, following the group to where the device was, which happens to be empty now with only has the suited creature looking at the thing.

She also notices the gnome Kernelsprite following the group while the pink remains in the living room. Where a goat appears.

[188]

Dipper:

Dipper arrived at the main exhibit room of the Mystery Shack, this time the tourists were gone and Stan was left to look at the device.

He takes a look at the page before entering the scene, mentioning the punch card doesn't go into the Alchemiter.

Webby:

"Good to know," Webby said, "don't think that device has anywhere to put that punch card."

[189]

Dipper:

"Hey, kids." Stan notices the twins, Soos and the rich brat entering the scene. "I guess this is your doing."

"Of course." Mabel proudly said, "we prototype a gnome!"

And just in time, the gnome Kernelsprite enters the scene.

"You're just lucky I managed to improvised." Stan pointed out, "I don't like all this weird stuff interfering with my business."

"You're seriously not going to ask about that thing over there?" Pacifica pointed out.

"Shut your yaps!" Stan pointed at the blonde, "just take this whatever this is or put it somewhere else."

"Well, we don't know how heavy it is…" Dipper pointed out, "it looks… really big…"

Stan sighs, "alright, guess I have to close early for today, but you're on double shift duty tomorrow. I'm going to get my brother."

Webby:

Webby goes on the game and follow what the image showed, going over at the Atheneum.

And as expected, there's only one object in the list of empty slots, said object being the same 'Perfectly Genetic Object' except that the block was yellow instead of green.

"That is incredibly Genetic," Webby said.

[190]

Dipper:

"Of course, you did that." Dipper looked at the phone before going to the next page

Webby:

"Why do you keep using the captchalogue weapon?" Webby said, finding it a little funny that John's phone was shot away as he got the telescope.

[191]

Dipper:

"Guess I have to do that too," Dipper said, going into his sylladex, only to realise that his Cruxite is in the middle of his deck, meaning that he has pushed his cards to get the item.

"Okay, screw it," Dipper said, looking around the place and captchaloguing two items.

"What are you doing?" Pacifica approaches the boy as he reaches his hands towards the fake Jackalope.

Dipper Captchalogue the Jackalope, causing the can of Pitt Soda to fly out of his deck, incidentally hitting Pacifica at fast speed.

"Ow!" she shouted, covering her face, checking for any bruises or nosebleeds "what was that?"

She then notices the Jackalope disappear.

"Sorry," Dipper apologized, "should have warned you about how this whole Captchaloging works.

He then remembers the fact that he still has his number 3 journal, written by his Great Uncle Ford, he still trusted him with the books and he still gets to read them, and since he needed another item, he decided to Captchaloging the Journal, which will get the Cruxite out of his deck.

This time, Soos managed to catch the cylinder before it could hurt anyone.

Webby:

"At last! Dipper threw something out of his deck!" Webby said, who also giggled at the blonde creature getting hit by what seemed to be a can. She looked closer to see it saying 'Pitt Soda'.

"Pitt Soda eh?" Webby said, going towards her secret stash under her desk and pulling out a can of Pep.

[OS-22]

It was at this movement Dipper decided to go along with the logic he understood from the story.

Recalling that there was a Strife deck, and since he has his journal in his deck, he decided to make his strife deck.

He somehow got a green card which at the back shows several different kinds, he found the one called bookkind.

He equips Bookkind and Journal No.3 is attached to his strife deck.

This also means he freed up some space in his main deck.

[192]

Dipper:

Seeing the instructions, Soos gave Dipper the Cruxite and he placed it on the Alchemiter. And like the new page, the poll from the device started moving and going towards the Cruxite.

"Okay, now what?" Soos turned to Dipper.

The boy looked at his phone and go onto the next page, "about to find out."

Webby:

"Alright, time to see what this device can do!" Webby excites herself.

[193]

Dipper:

"So, it's a summoner to make new objects," Dipper said, right on cue, a yellow block appeared before everyone else.

"Way to waste the Grist Webby." He talked to himself, "we don't even know how it works or if it's vital."

Webby:

"Oh, that's so cool!" Webby said, "I'm going to try it out."

She then goes onto the game and summons one block of PERFECTLY GENETIC OBJECT.

"Let's hope we can summon more stuff."

[194]

Dipper:

Seeing this page and how John is looking at the telescope, brought chills towards the boy. He turns to see his gnome Kerrnelsprite, shaking a lot as it was near the exit.

"I have a bad feeling about this," Dipper said, following the gnome to outside, having a feeling that whatever John has, he has it too.

Webby:

"Wait, what's going on?" Webby was confused, seeing the group following the gnome Kernelsprite. She zooms out outside and saw them going out and looking up in the sky. Except for Dipper who looked at his phone.

[195]

Dipper:

"Hey, dudes…" Soos started, looking up in the sky, "I think something is falling out of the sky."

Hearing this, and both see something in a very far distance and a telescope view of what John is seeing, his worst hopes is coming to be.

Webby:

"Is that… a shooting star?" Webby questions the image, "in the middle of the day."

"No Webby." Lena said, "that's not a shooting star, that's a…"

[196]

Dipper:

Everyone stared at the sky, now scared of what they're seeing, it was enough for Dipper to drop his phone, luckily caught by Mabel, who looked at the image and realize what's going on.

"Okay, what's with the commotion." A new voice was heard, but everyone didn't turn around.

"A meteor…" Dipper spoke, "there's a meteor… heading towards us…"

Dipper turns to see the voice, who is his other great uncle, Stanford Pines.

"Wait… two Stans?" Pacifica said, a little confused towards the two stans.

Suddenly, Dipper got a notification on the phone, he snatched it off Mabel and start reading what it said.

Webby:

"A meteor?" Webby shouted, feeling a mixture of concern and excitement.

"What you said." Lena sighs.

While it was a bit frightening that a meteor is on a collision course to where John was, this gave her a little thrill to see what happens next and see how John is going to deal with

"Now I want to know how Dipper feel about this." She went to the Pesterchum and start pestering Dipper. Only to realize that Dipper was still pestering her. So, she decided to resume the chat.

[OS-23]

GA: Hey Dipper!

GA: What do you think about the meteor

PD: You see it too?

GA: Yeah, it's heading towards John's house

GA The story just got amazing!

PD: Easy for you to say

PD: Because there is ONE HEADING STRIGHT TO MINE!

GA: Really?

GA: Then that means…

GA: Oh…

PD: Oh indeed!

PD: What have we done!?

GA: Dipper calm down

GA: Maybe this is part of the game, maybe the purpose is for you to prevent the meteor from destroying your world.

GA: All you have to do is beat the game

PD: I guess it makes sense

PD: But have you notice the timer counting down

PD: That means the timer on the other device is the same as mine

GA: So that's what the timer meant!

GA: When it reaches zero, then BOOM!

PD: WEBBY!

GA: Sorry

GA: Okay, we need to get through this,

GA: The story has given us hints, so maybe continue with the story and we'll get you out of this mess

GA: I know I would be scared if a meteor comes towards my place

PD: Okay, talk to you later…

Dipper:

"You tell me!" Dipper said, trying to calm down from the panic of the situation.

Webby:

"But at least it's some sense of adventure, right?" Webby said, having that feeling for when she goes on dangerous adventures with Scrooge McDuck.

[198]

Dipper:

"You don't need to high five the jes… harlequin," Dipper said, now calmer.

"Harlequin? Dipper, what are you talking about?" Ford asked his nephew.

Dipper looks around to see everyone staring at him. he knows much about this situation than everyone else, so he has to tell them what's going on.

"Okay, my mistake, but I might have accidentally summoned a meteor when I inserted a disk on my computer."

"That makes no sense." Pacifica pointed out.

"I know." Dipper agrees, "anyway, there is a duck girl name Webby who's helping me, you might see a yellow mouse going around, that's her. She's looking above us like it's a video game."

"She's watching us?" Mabel asked before looking at the sky and waving, "Hi Webby!"

"So, what does that have to do with the meteor?" Stan asked.

"I don't know how it was triggered, but there is a story about someone named John who's going through what we're going through, and we only got less than five minutes to do what we need to do. I don't know if it would destroy the meteor, but it's the best chance we got."

"Okay then," Ford taking the information in, "so this story you said, it gives you instruction through the game?"

"I think so…" Dipper said, "so far, John just reacted to his meteor and he's high fiving the jester, saying that he left him hanging long enough."

"Really respectful dude." Soos pointed out.

"So, we just need to continue to read this, if we learn more about this story, it will help with this problem."

"Then continue reading," Ford said, "we got a world to save!"

Webby:

"Ghost high five!" Webby said, having a little bit of fun even though Dipper is in great danger.

She just wants to have a good time before getting serious…

[199]

Dipper:

"So what does the next page say?" Stan asked.

"Completely pointless," Dipper sighed, a little disappointed, "just him wanting to eat grist… one of the many currencies in this game…"

Webby:

"My thoughts exactly," Webby said, agreeing with the part that talks on how there is no crisis to deter from doing silly moments for fun.

"And this is why you and the triplets don't do anything right," Lena said, though a little stupid to think that and it indicates a verbal assault to her friend.

Luckily, she can't hear her.

Dipper:

Dipper and the group go back into the Shack, awaiting instructions for what to do next to stop the meteor.

Webby:

"I wonder what John's father going to react to all of this." Webby wondered, looking at the image of the car arriving at the house.

All of the sudden, someone enters her room.

"Hey Webby, do you have a minute?" the duck in a blue shirt asked.
