[OS-102]

In the past, just when Act 1 began

Mabel woken up

Woken in her bedroom, a bedroom that felt different somehow

She's in her room at the Mystery Shack, yet everything about it was different

Any element of her brother, his bed, his table and his laptop, all gone.

What was going on?

She stood up from her bed and see an open hole, she stood on the table and looked through the hole.

And behold, she saw many things all in a yellow glow, like a whole planet below, she looked more and saw two towers, seemingly at the same height, meaning that she was in one herself.

Before she looks at a big blue planet.

It amazed her to catch her sights and curious about what it was and how close it was in comparison to her perspective.

Before she could do anything, she closed her eyes before opening them, finding herself in back at the main room of the shack.

Boy… what happened?

[651]

Dipper:

"Well… that happened…" Pacifica comments, "not sure what was that about."

"Seems to be stuff we already know." Dipper said, "except that last one, looks like someone we don't know yet…"

Webby:

"Remember this, guys," Lena pointed out, "it's very important later"

"I'll note it," Huey said, writing down the list of shapes that was shown in the dream.

Cartman:

"I have completely no idea what that was," Cartman was unsure towards the sequences of events, "and honestly, I don't give a f**k."

Mabel:

Seeing the video, Mabel felt a little unease

It got her to remember when she was dreaming something, it felt a little… similar but different.

"I need to tell them."

PD: then let's continue

[652]

Dipper:

"This has a lot of Mabel energy," Pacifica comments, "I have no clue what she's saying most of the time."

"I got used to it," Dipper sighs, "and yeah, it's hard."

Webby:

"Okay, she was cheerful and happy… but this is somewhat off." Webby pointed out, curious and still liking GG, just noticing something a bit strange from her.

Cartman:

"Yeah, this b*tch is being confusing." Cartman said, waiting awhile and quickly being bored before the other lights lit up, "finally, they took their time."

Mabel:

"and I thought you were confusing at times," Wendy comments, which Mabel felt a little attacked. She quickly resaid her words, "no offence, you are cool, but this GG is talking about waking up even though John is awake."

"Maybe there's another way of waking up." Mabel pointed out, "don't know what, but it would be a good nap."

Wendy smiles, "sure, whatever."

[653 - 654]

Dipper:

Just when he saw the next page, the three suddenly hear a loud noise that shook the shack.

"What was that?" Soos asked.

Dipper kept his eyes on the screen, he doesn't need to answer his question, but he knows.

And he's unsure if he can face it.

Webby:

"That's a big one." Huey pointed out.

"Neat, they go a larger size." Webby giggled, thrilled to see John going against such a foe.

Cartman:

At first, nothing much seems to happen and the kids felt a little bored.

Until the pages that showed a thrilling foe.

"Okay, sh*t just got interesting!" Kenny said as the other kids were now paying attention to the screen.

Mabel:

"Okay, that seems a bit extreme," Wendy pointed out, a little unsure about dealing with a larger enemy, the imps were easy, but this would pose a challenge.

"But nothing we can't handle, right?" Mabel said, not caring the danger of the foe that could enter their boat at any moment.

[655 – 656]

Dipper:

"Note to self, when things got hot, weaker imps leave. Got it." Dipper said while Soos chuckles at the Imp leaving.

Webby:

"If the smaller imps are leaving, then we know it's serious," Louie said.

"it means John doesn't have to worry about those smaller creatures." Webby pointed out.

"but always remain cautious," Beakley added.

Cartman:

"well, that imp said 'f**k this sh*t, I'm out." Jimmy comments.

Mabel:

"wasted opportunity to get more grist." Mabel sighs.

[657 - 663]

Dipper:

Seeing the intense pages, Dipper went outside and saw the progress Webby made, it was good and nearly reached the top.

Another shake, mostly from behind.

Webby:

Webby looked at both the Homestuck page and the SBURB game with Dipper, she quickly notice the big monster on both sides.

"This is going to be something," Webby prep herself for another battle, while Louie gets another drink, "let's make this happen!"

Cartman:

"Sh*t! that's a big imp!" Tweek jumped after seeing the Crude Ogre.

"John fighting an Ogre, sweet" Cartman said, getting ready to watch a fight of kid vs monster.

Mabel:

"You can do it, John!" Mabel cheered him on.

Until she saw the hyperlink that was already down her expectations.

"Oh."

[OS-104]

The three turn to see a giant ogre gnome, roaring at them.

Right away, the three took a stand, Soos with his tools, Pacifica with her golden club.

"Okay, we'll do this together." She claims, holding tight of her club, getting ready to do another strife.

Until Dipper pulled up his hand.

"No… I need to do this myself."

Dipper gave the phone to Pacifica, "keep reading, I'll fight the ogre."

"but that's a really big dude, dude." Soos pointed out, "you can't beat it alone."

"I thought a three-headed bear, Soos." Dipper pointed out, pulling up his shotgun "besides, I know have more than a book."

[OS-105]

Dipper: STRIFE! (for real this time)

Dipper walks towards the Ogre, not afraid, not scared, this time he is incredibly confident.

Because he has one ultimate power that this Ogre underestimates.

The power of alchemy!

He aims the gun at the Ogre and pulls the trigger.

The Ogre was hit, and something strange occurred.

The Ogre shrink.

Till he was incredibly small.

The Ogre looked up, now Dipper was the giant.

"Height-altering crystals." Dipper said, "very efficient."

The last thing the tiny ogre saw was the Heir's shoe before vanquished.

Despite the size, the quantity of grist didn't change.

He got more grist and Dipper was proud of what he has accomplished.

His echeladder was levelled up into the 'Efficient mystery hunter' as he knows how to get the job done without wasting any time.

There is no way, John can do better.

[664 - 665]

Dipper:

while Dipper dealt with the ogre, Pacifica and Soos looked at the following two pages, showing Dave along with a video of him getting prepared and reaching the roof.

"Oh man, that music is sick," Soos comments, "I can feel the energy of this entire sequence."

Until the DOUBLE PSYCHE COMBO OCCURRED.

For a split second, they saw a new person, a girl, before cutting back to the wasteland guy.

"What?" Pacifica questions.

Webby:

"Dave is getting himself ready," Dewey said, liking the music, "so pumped up!"

"Yeah, can't wait to see what…" but then Webby saw the psyche fakeout, "huh?"

"that's a new one," Louie pointed out the girl, "have we seen her before?"

"Not that I can remember," Webby said, unsure towards the page itself before cutting back to the wasteland guy.

Cartman:

"We're doing this man," Cartman rubbed his hands together after hearing cool music, "he's making it happen!"

Only for his thrills to die down when the fakeout occurs, "what the f**k?"

Mabel:

"Alright, Dave, bring the puppet with you and get on that roof!" Mabel said with a big smile, only for the fakeout to occur and a new face to appear.

"Who's that?" Mabel questioned before the wasteland guy came back, "oh him again."

[666 - 668]

There isn't much to say in the scene as there isn't much from the pages only seeing short moments of the wasteland guy, otherwise known as the Wayward Vagabond.

[669]

Dipper:

"it's still important to know," Dipper pointed out, "the fact that there is energy fuel in that machine and running all this time, had that been there since the beginning?"

"Maybe it's a machine that replaces the house." Soos suggested, "like it swapped places."

"But wouldn't it get destroyed by meteors?" Pacifica question.

"Maybe it's meteor protected."

"yeah, not buying that," Dipper said.

Webby:

"Interesting," Huey made a note of the machine, curious about how it works and why it's running, having importance of some sort.

"Make sense for WV to not care about the machine," Beakley pointed out, "who knows he had been through without food or water."

Cartman:

"We're going to cut away from Dave to get this sh*t?" Cartman questions the pages.

"That's what I was talking about to the whole story," Craig pointed out.

"I think it's interesting," Stan said, "it does have that Mad Max vibe."

"But without the bikers."

Mabel:

Mabel didn't care about the information just like WV, she was too busy getting more grist from the imps.

[670 - 671]

Dipper:

"Much more efficient than the whole captchaloging stuff." Dipper comments.

Webby:

"Guess the captchaloging is limited to the players," Huey said, "don't think we can do the same."

"Let's test that," Louie said, placing his can of Pep on the table and attempting to captchaloge it, but nothing happened.

"I think it's just me and the other readers." Webby said, pulling her hand to the can and successfully captchaloging it into her inventory. "see."

"Worth a try."

Cartman:

"Holding a can is much easier than captchaloging it," Craig said.

"No one cares what you say, Craig," Cartman complains, "shut up and keep reading."

"Sorry, but if I have to endure this, I have my right to question it. And if you don't like it," he pulls up a middle finger, "then you can go f**k yourself."

Mabel:

"Fair," Mabel commented, "not everyone can captchaloge stuff, I didn't know I can do it until it happened, and it has so much potential to hold all of my favourite stuff."

[672 - 673]

Dipper:

"so, he has a mouth and fingers," Dipper said, keeping the information in his head, "doesn't tell much, but good to know."

Webby:

"so, he has a mouth and fingers," Dipper said, writing it on his guidebook, "doesn't tell much, but good to know." He then suddenly sneezes and have a weird sense of Deja vu for some reason.

Cartman:

"You can't open the can, yeah I get it." Cartman sighs, "no one cares if you want food."

"The dudes starving, Cartman," Kenny pointed out, "he's lucky to have substance."

"Yeah, you only care because you're poor."

"f**k off."

Mabel:

"Just smash the lid open," Mabel suggests, "or find something to open the can."

[674 - 675]

Mabel:

"Huh, thought that said Custard." Mabel pointed out.

[676 - 677]

Dipper:

"A bar code?" Dipper notices the bar code on the wrist, quickly going on his empty page on his journal and sketching down the same bar code on the page. "guess it has importance."

Webby:

"looks like those scanning things at stores." Webby pointed out.

"A code bar," Huey corrected, "but interesting enough that looks like a unique bar code looks like nine bar codes into one."

"And he has one on his wrist." Beakley said, "like a form of identification."

Cartman:

"wow, you have a bar code pattern on your wrist." Cartman said in sarcasm, "Next!"

Mabel:

"aren't those bar scanny things?" Mabel pointed out.

"I don't know," Wendy said, "don't see any bar codes in the gift shop."

"So how do you know what cost what?" Mabel asked

"Mr Pines just suggest I make up numbers so long as they're big."

[678]

Dipper:

"First the rotten pumpkin, now the plant," Dipper said, "he is so desperate to eat anything."

Webby:

"As a survivor, eating anything is a way to stay alive," Webby said, "and when you run out of food… well, hopefully, we don't get to that stage."

"with the alchemiter, we won't," Lena stated.

Cartman:

"Who the hell eats plants?" Cartman questions. "I would just eat those cans. They are much delicious."

"The guy can't open them, Cartman," Stan pointed out.

Mabel:

Mabel chuckled, "like a sneaky goat."

[679 - 680]

Dipper:

"That good old book again," Dipper said before looking at a page that showed Human Etiquette, and shrugs, "more or less on how humans work."

Webby:

"So, humans are carnivores?" Beakley said as the ducks look at a page of Human Etiquette, showcasing a process of animals.

"So they eat only meat," Huey said, adding it to his guidebook, writing on his notes that humans would commonly eat cow, chicken, horse bull and goats.

"do they process food? This book pretty much says that they eat from the animals, not like in packages." Huey said, a little unsure towards the page.

"More likely they do," Beakley said, "though the book doesn't tell much, just illustrations."

Cartman:

"Yep, that's how we eat sh*t!" Cartman said, "especially chicken, like KFC"

"but not meat," Kyle pointed out, "there are vegetarians and vegans, or people who eat healthier food."

"and those people are pussies." Cartman responded. "I don't eat that crap."

Mabel:

"Wait, horse goats are eatable?" Mabel questions, she knows about meats, but not much as other animals like horses and goats."

"Anything meat, really," Wendy said. "Cycle of life."

[681]

Webby:

"and strangely enough, that's what we got for supplies," Beakley said, remembering the crate full of a few months' worths of supplies, most of them being cans with similar types of food.

[682 - 683]

Dipper:

"again with the flag," Dipper sighs.

Webby:

"Not nessassery" Webby pointed out, "it could be sharp enough to open the can, why not just… do that?"

"Well, it wouldn't be good to do that," Huey pointed out, "it's very dangerous using rust to cut things, like getting infectious…"

"still worth using if he's starving," Webby pointed out, "besides, he wrapped it around a piece of cloth."

Cartman:

"A what?" Cartman was confused.

"I think he's holding a mail flag," Stan said, "you know, something you flip up and down when you get mail."

Mabel:

"it is a swingy flappy… whatever.." Mabel comments.

[684]

Dipper:

"Does look like one though," Dipper said as another imp approached and Dipper blasted it away with his shotgun, "but good to know this one isn't an imp."

Webby:

"Wait till you see the next page," Louie pointed out, already seeing the highlight."

Cartman:

"What those black guys?" Cartman said, "the one John was fighting?"

Just as he asked that question, the doorbell rang.

Cartman clicked on the next page before approaching the door.

Mabel:

"you look a bit too tall and not monster-like to be an imp," Mabel said, before shooting another imp in the face, "also you're not pink."

[685]

Dipper:

"Okay, he has finally lost it," Pacifica said.

"Isolation does that," Dipper pointed out. "as Morgan Freeman say, a man would do anything to keep their mind occupied."

Webby:

"He would be a good mayor after stacking all those cans," Webby snickers towards the image.

"yeah, the guy is just crazy." Louie comments.

Cartman:

Cartman opens the door revealing a new person to join in with the party.

"Oh, hey Tolkien," Cartman said as the black kid enters the house, "you're early, but don't worry, it's just getting started. Grab a seat and start watching."

"That's what this party is about?" Tolkien questions.

"Just deal with it," Kyle said, "trust me, it will be worth it in the end.

"Alright fine," he then finds a seat and notices the current page.

Already he wanted to leave right away to how stupid the story was with no context.

Mabel:

"Mayor of Cantown!" Mabel said with a smile, "you would be amazing at majoring… whatever they do…"

[686]

Dipper:

"an ordinary and a diplomatic society is the way to go," Dipper said, who was a little fascinated by how communities function and mayors play a role, especially after the Gravity Falls mayor election a while back.

Webby:

"Good for him," Webby said with a smile, "mayors always have things work like clockwork and keep things as good as they could."

Cartman:

"Mayors, keeping things friendly and happy?" Cartman raises an eyebrow, "yeah, don't buy it."

"Well, they do keep the town from fal… fall… falling apart" Jimmy pointed out.

"You see Mayor whatever is her face solving problems?" Cartman questions. "most of the time it's either us or Stan's dad."

"Don't remind me," Stan said, recalling how his father managed to help Amazon workers and buyers to work together to defeat Jeff Bezos.

The mayor of South Park did jack sh*t.

Mabel:

"Just like a true American," Mabel said, "respectful and caring."

Wendy snickers at that remark.

"So pure-minded."

[685]

Dipper:

"Or dictators, or any kind of ruthless ruler that cares more of themselves than other people."

"Just like my parents," Pacifica said, remembering them.

Webby:

"Kings can be full of themselves," Dewey said.

"Yeah, but anyone wants to be king." Louie said, "practically, Scrooge is the king of money."

"but at least he earned it and used his brain." Dewey pointed out. "kings usually have their wealth given to them."

Cartman:

"so American," Cartman smirked at the anger towards the not imp.

He's starting to like the wastelander.

Mabel:

"That's the USA for you," Mabel said, "no kings in our land, we got presidents!"

[688]

Nothing much to say on this page, though everyone was a little suspicious when they saw both the green rock and the shown hyperlink.

[689]

Dipper:

"Why am I not surprised," Dipper sighs, "I get he's desperate to eat, but even I wouldn't eat that."

Webby:

"Did he just… ate a nugget of uranium?" Webby said with many being a little worried for the wastelander.

Cartman:

"Huh, not the worst thing I ate." Cartman comments.

Mabel:

"Maybe he thought it was candy rock," Mabel said, hearing the word uranium before and told that it was a bad thing, a little unsure what it would do to the hungry wasterlander.

[690 - 691]

Dipper:

"At this point, he's eating anything green." Dipper said, noticing how most of the things he was eating were green, from the plant to the uranium and now two pieces of chalk, both of them being green."

Webby:

"Is chalk eatable?" Webby asked.

"No," everyone else said right away.

Cartman:

"At least he has something to write." Karen said, who caught interest when she saw the page containing a box of chalk "and he's already starting to taste those chalks."

Kenny sighs and facepalm, even he knows that eating chalk was bad for his sister.

Mabel:

"The mayor of cantown can eat anything, can he?" Mabel said, "wonder what he'll eat next."

[692 - 693]

Dipper:

"Good," Dipper said, "I thought you were going to eat it."

Webby:

"On the bright side, he's not drinking that motor oil." Webby pointed out, "guess there are some things he doesn't eat.

"But why is it there?" Huey asked, curious about the certain items in this place that was most likely left behind by someone.

Cartman:

Cartman wasn't interested in the next two pages, as he finds them completely short and not exciting.

Mabel:

"It might come in handy later," Mabel suggested, "I know there is other stuff around the shack that will be useful later."

"Speaking of which." Wendy said, "do you want to do some alchemising?"

[694 - 695]

Dipper:

"You got to start somewhere right, dudes." Soos said. "at least the mayor has someone to help his established city."

Webby:

"Establishment starts with a spark of light," Webby said, "or a firefly trapped in amber."

Cartman:

"You can always lick the amber," Kenny suggested, "melt it long enough to free the bug, though you might accidentally eat the bug."

"Ew!" nearly every kid reacted, a little disgusted.

Mabel:

"Don't worry little fella," Mabel said with a smile towards the firefly, "you might be trapped, but you will become a beacon of hope for all cans around. Hoping one day you'll be free from the vile amber."

[696]

Dipper:

"Most likely because you ate it," Dipper pointed out.

Webby:

The ducks, while having concerns for the mayor being in his world, still find it interesting how he made sure to act as a mayor.

It was like a child who knows how to properly help out the community while building a city from the grown-up.

Cartman:

"It starts somewhere," Kyle said, "he's pretty much building a city… out of cans from scratch,"

"Yeah, but we're just seeing a crazy person pretending to be mayor," Craig said, being a killjoy.

"If my dad could make a successful weed farm, I'm sure this mayor can make a whole city," Stan said.

Mabel:

"got to use what you have," Mabel pointed out, "that's how I get my creativity,"

Mabel arrived at her room, she asked Wendy to grab hold of her chest of sweaters while she grab other items of interest.

[697]

Dipper:

Dipper continued to indulge with the mayor of Cantown.

"An interesting pattern," Dipper said, noticing how the pattern looks similar to a game board, "residents between commercials, space to live but also have commercials in between of each other.

Webby:

"Looks like a chessboard," Webby points out the obvious.

Cartman:

"What, is he going to play chess?" cartman said, "such a lame game."

"I like chess." Tolkien pointed out.

Mabel:

"Oh, that game." Mabel ignored the complicated wording that seems to be a work of a mayor. More focused on the image.

A game she wasn't good at.

[698]

Dipper:

"Guess wondering in a dessert would make you thirsty," Dipper said.

Webby:

"Better if he didn't do that," Webby said, who didn't want to see urine on the chessboard.

Cartman:

"A good metaphor of p*ssing on your fair city." Kenny pointed out, "something bad mayors does."

Mabel:

"That's a little gross," Mabel said, glad that the mayor wasn't going towards that option and cannot do said option.

[699]

Dipper:

"Now it looks like, what I thought it looks like," Dipper said, seeing the residential and commercial zones as one big chessboard.

Webby:

"Why do I have a feeling he's going to play chess or something," Huey asked.

"Maybe to illustrate how being a mayor was liking playing a game of chess?" Webby suggested.

"You could apply chess with anything, Webby." Beakley pointed out, "it's the basics of strategy."

Cartman:

"Guess he found something for the motor oil after all…" Stan said, a little unsure what it's doing there. A couple of guessing being that it's used on the machine, as a possible fuel, though more likely it ran on uranium.

Mabel:

"see!" Mabel said, glad that the motor oil was being used on this page, "anything can be used for everything!"

[700]

Dipper:

"And now you dressed up for the role," Dipper said, smiling at this little moment that doesn't mean anything.

Webby:

"All that's left is to have a top hat and molecule and you be looking like the mayor!" Webby said. Liking the creativity towards the mayo label.

Cartman:

"How long do you think till the mayor goes mad with power?" Cartman asked.

"Seems like a nicer mayor than anything." Stan said. "not everyone is an asshole."

Mabel:

"And thus, you are now the Mayor of Cantown!" Mabel said before laughing towards the good page, wanting to see more of this new mayor of his imagined land of democracy.

[OS-106]

Meanwhile in the future…

A Haysaul and an old crazy hobo entered the big white box

"Right on schedule," the old man said, "just as Red Clock instructed."

Haysaul was in awe towards the inside of this place, hallways that has different rooms.

"I'll be at the control deck, preparing our department, you get yourself settled."

Then the old man runs off. Leaving Haysaul still confused as ever.

But if he's going to stay in this place for a while, he has to follow what the old man said.

The Haysaul explores the place, going into a room that has strange items, but there was one item that stood out from all of them.

A big monitor, showing five blank screens.

Only one was turned on, and it caught Haysaul's interest, seeing a familiar face that he can't feel but had met this person before.

Could it be? The person he was looking for all his life. Does this person know her?

This made him curious, he looked down to see a keyboard and a command, there was one way he can be sure that he knows this person.

He starts to type. He thought about what he'll type, in the end, he decided to use the words that he cherish for a long time, part of memories he forced himself to forget, yet these words were what kept him going to find her.

'Two birds on a wire.'

End of Act 2: Part 9.
