[OS-151]
Hilda and her friends looked at the newfound devices around the house, the white pipe machine in her bedroom, what seems to be a desk with a weird thing on top in the living room.
There is absolutely no way she could hide this from mum.
Better get this over with before she comes back.
Hilda went back to the computer and pester Soos.
- TrollburgHelper [TH] began pestering PinesDecipher [PD] –
TH: okay, what do I do with them?
PD: oh that's easy,
PD: first you got to hit the top part of the pipe with something heavy, like a hammer or a large bolder.
TH: okay, no problem.
PD: oh, man he's here
PD: hold on one second.
TH: hold on what?
PD: hay Hilda
PD: it's me, Dipper.
PD: back with my computer and back at my place.
TH: you went away?
PD: yep, explored the world, found a cave, and fought some monsters.
PD: no different than what I usually do back in Gravity Falls
PD: where I live
TH: sounds like a nice place to visit
PD: oh you would find it interesting
PD: well… if it's still there.
PD: speaking of
[OS-152]
Dipper proceed to hit the top of Hilda's cruxtruder, and an orange orb popped out.
Quickly, the kids, an elf and a deerfox all stared at the orb, while David was a little freaked out, Frida learns forward, curious about the orb.
"huh, is this magic?" she asked, her hand reaching, wanting to touch the orb.
Only for a box to stop her hand.
Unknownst to her, Dipper quickly blocked Frida's hand before she could touch the kernelsprite.
PD: yeah, I advise you not to touch the kernelsprite.
PD: not yet
TH: okay, what is it?
PD: from what I read, a sprite that needs prototyping, anything it contacts with, it transforms into said contact.
PD: it also transforms the enemies to have elements of the sprite, if anything, we need to be smart with this.
TH: so what you're saying is that we need to put something safe in the kernelsprite and thus the enemies will be safe?
PD: not exactly
PD: more like less dangerous.
PD: Webby and I already prototyped our kernelsprites
PD: there are three and I believed five have been part of the prototype
TH: three sprites? And five prototypes?
PD: Mabel has one, and after I entered the game, I prototyped a fake rabbit into my sprite.
PD: so far, there are no rabbits features
TH: so, what happens if I don't put anything in the sprite
PD: not sure about that
PD: but it might mess something up.
PD: just find something and go for it.
PD: we have time
PD: think it over while we read Homestuck.
PD: you have a bit of time left
TH: excuse me?
PD: look at the timer
Hilda looked away from the computer and saw an orange countdown, going by forty-one minutes.
Seems she has time.
[903 - 905]
Dipper:
"Yeah, that's very out of place," Dipper agree with Rose, however, he considered why they were there, thinking much about how the timer appointed to years, he wondered if her mother lived in this lab, hence the bed
Webby:
"Science and girly, I like it," Webby smiled at the scene.
Cartman:
"Well at least it stands out, and looks nice," Wendy comments finding the images peculiar but interesting.
"Yeah, because girl stuff ruins everything," Cartman lashes.
"said the asshole who plays with dolls," Wendy counters.
Mabel:
"More wizards," Mabel said, now seating outside until she arrives on the island.
Hilda:
"Yeah, not much to my taste," Hilda said, "it's too pink."
[906 - 907]
Dipper:
Not much to say on the page, but found the mutant cat strange yet connecting some things.
Webby:
"What so mutanty about it?" Webby asked, unsure what makes it different from a regular cat.
"I think it's the four eyes" Huey pointed out, "notice the little white dots above the cat's eyes?"
"I thought they were eyebrows"
Cartman:
"oh boy," Kenny said, having a reminder of the last time he had with cats.
Cartman meanwhile smiles at the new cat, right as Mr Kitty came in to see the mutant cat, she growls at it right when Cartman changes the page.
Mabel:
"Another adorable pet," Mabel giggled.
Hilda:
"A mutant cat?" Hilda raises her eyebrow, "did something experiment on that thing?"
"Wait, I don't get it," Frida speaks up, "what makes it a mutant and not a new creature?"
Or rather what makes it even a mutant," David added in, "it looks like a cat to me."
[908 - 910]
Dipper:
"About time to find out what's in there," Dipper said. This reminds him of the time when he entered Stan's room when he consistently told everyone not to enter.
Webby:
"Time to find out Dad's secrets" Webby get herself ready, interested to find whatever John's father was hiding.
Cartman:
"Time to see more clown sh*t" Cartman sighs
Mabel:
"Yeah! Jump down there and find out what he's hiding!" Mabel cheered.
Hilda:
While most of this was out of context for the kids, they were curious about what John meant by his father's room, especially on the following page that featured jesters that jumped Alfur and David.
"Okay, I wouldn't want to go down there," David said.
"Wouldn't hurt," Hilda said, "wouldn't be surprised if it's just a regular boring room."
"But what if it has strange jesters inside?" David said, shook as ever.
"doubt it," Frida answers after looking at John jumping down the hole.
[911 - 912]
Dipper:
"Okay, this is getting ridiculous," Pacifica said, "even my mansion doesn't have this amount of stuff!"
Webby:
"You can't get enough globes," Webby chuckled.
"You… really can." Huey points out the obvious, "all you need is one."
Cartman:
Not much reaction from the group, but those who were interested in Jade paid more attention to the following pages.
Mabel:
"Dumb globes getting in your way," Mabel sighed.
Hilda:
"well, at least he's very passionate about his hobbies," Hilda commented.
[913]
Dipper:
Dipper was confused about Jade arming herself to confront her grandfather, but seeing a big rifle, seemed a little overkill to him.
Webby:
"Rifle at the ready in case the encounter is inevitable," Webby said.
Cartman:
"Oh boy, here we go." Stan sighed, recalling a few times when he argued with his parents that ends with them pointing guns at each other
Mabel:
"Just in case," Mabel chuckled
Hilda:
"I don't think that would be necessary, Jade" Frida said, a little worried about Jade with the rifle, though curious about the upcoming encounter with her grandfather.
[914 - 916]
Dipper:
"Do I have to say it," Pacifica sighs, already having an idea of Jade's attempt to sneak past her grandfather?
Webby:
"sneaking time," Webby giggled, "like how I sneak past Scrooge to get every detail I could get for him."
"Pardon?" Scrooge appeared, joining in.
Cartman:
At this point, Cartman was still angered and bored, he didn't like seeing Jade going through lame moments and want to see Dave again.
To get his anger out of his system, he rushed upstairs, giving an excuse to everyone that he was 'taking a sh*t'.
As for everyone, they read Jade's pages, curious about the mysterious black figure that is supposed to be her grampa.
Mabel:
"There he is," Mabel said, a little shaken by the black figure.
Hilda:
"Yeah, better to get away from everyone and back to your room?" David suggests, a little jumped when Jade's grandfather appeared.
[917]
Dipper:
"Yep, not even close," the blonde said with Dipper agreeing.
"Well, not her fault that she's sleepy, it happens," Soos suggested.
Webby:
"You got to be kidding me," Dewey said with a surprised look, with the rest a little disappointed by Jade's attempt to sneak.
"Well, at least we get to see Dave again!" Webby pointed out, clicking on the next page.
Cartman:
"Hay Cartman! They're going back to Dave," Stan shouted, but no answer from Cartman.
"Just leave him be," Kyle said, "I prefer at least five minutes without him."
Everyone agrees to that.
Mabel:
"At least you tried," Mabel said, a little giggle came out before a sudden shake from the ship, catching her off guard.
When she recovers balance, she notices the island is incredibly close to her.
"We arrived!" she cheered.
Hilda:
"Well, that didn't go well." Frida points out the obvious.
[918]
Dipper:
On the following page, Dipper plays along with the interactive page, pressing on his keyboard and showing Jade making random movements, similar to when she played the flute.
Not only that, he realized the identity of Grandpa Harley.
"Woah!" Soos was taken by surprise, "like one of the wax figures."
Dipper was reminded of the wax figures, when after finding a secret room full of the figures and Mabel making a wax figure of Stanley and after turning out that the wax figure is alive and tried to kill Stan. There was not one day that Dipper despise wax figures.
Glad that all of them are gone.
Unfortunately, this wasn't a wax figure of Jade's grandfather.
But it better not to tell Soos, at least Pacifica knows, her face completely tells it.
Webby:
On the page similar to the flute, Webby mash on the keyboard, seeing every sequence that Jade can do.
After a few button presses, she soon notices the appearance of her grandfather.
"Wait for a second! Is he… stuff and mounted!?"
"Uh… it appears so!" Scrooge said, a little shocked by the appearance of the grandfather, even the triplets and incredibly unsettled by the still human.
But Webby? Her reaction was different.
"That is so… cool!"
The boys can never understand the girl and her interests.
Cartman:
"The f**k!" Kenny said with everyone being incredibly creeped out by the stuffed figure of her grandfather, the lines on the head giving a big indication.
"Okay, that's beyond gross," Bebe commented.
"And so… inhumane," Butters said, even as innocent as he is, was horrified by the realization.
Mabel:
"We're here," Wendy approaches Mabel, who was busy mashing buttons on her device, "ready to head out?"
"Just a second," Mabel called out, "just fighting with the corpse of Jade's grampa"
Wendy widen her eyes after hearing that and decided to go back inside without a sound.
Hilda:
On the page, the four take a closer look, waiting for the reveal of the grandfather, when strife commences, it showed not only the grandfather but the state he's in.
"What?" Frida raises a brow, "is that a statue of him or…"
"I… think it is him," Alfur pointed out.
Hilda saw the image of the grandfather, he recalls times when she saw mounted creatures, a display that feels incredibly wrong and inhumane.
She never thought of a human in the same way.
Because of this, she felt sick.
Even though David was sick, he was the first to rush out, either to take a breather or vomit in the bathroom.
"This is incredibly wrong," Hilda said before clicking to the next page, trying to forget the realization of the grandfather.
[919 - 920]
Dipper:
After the previous page, both Dipper and Pacifica needed a bit of time after what they had seen.
When they come back, they read Jade arguing with the dead grandfather. It brings a sudden new realization.
"So Webby is all alone," Pacifica asked.
"What are you talking about? She has her grandfather, just playing with his wax figure." Soos was confused.
"I'll tell you later, Soos," Dipper said.
Webby:
"So does this mean Jade is completely alone?" Huey asked, somewhat afraid of what that fact implies, "she has to have someone there to take care of her, how did she survive, how did she get help, what if she hurt herself and nobody is there to help her?"
"I'm sure she'll be alright," Webby said, acting as if Jade being alone wasn't a problem, "she has a gun."
"That's not the point, Webby!"
Cartman:
"So, we are dealing with a psycho girl living on an island complaining to her dead grandpa?" Wendy cleared things up.
"More or less," Stan answers, "not the strangest, but still."
"Defiantly the strangest out of the four," Tolkien added, with some agreeing.
Mabel:
"Jade is going out, and so am I," Mabel said, getting off her seat, ready to leave the boat once more.
Hilda:
"I'm back," David said taking a deep breath and wiping his mouth, "but seriously, she is living with her dead mounted grandfather? What's wrong with her?"
"Maybe there's a reason behind it," Frida said, she didn't like the idea, but was curious about the reason it happened, "maybe her grandfather died, and his final wish is to be stuffed and mounted."
"What kind of crazy person does that!" Hilda shouted, "that is so horrible!"
"Is it even legal?" David asked.
"Highly," Alfur answered. "but they are on an island, maybe away from any laws?"
"You guys can't be serious about defending this!" Hilda complains. "Can we just drop this topic and move on please!"
The room was silent, all staring at a mad Hilda. After a small moment, she takes a breath and continues with the story.
She hopes not to see something like this again. She hopes that she wouldn't see her grandfather again.
[OS-153]
Mabel: explore a new island
Hopping off her boat, Mabel was taken in awe as she look at this unique island, it wasn't isolated or in ruins or had a village.
It was a populated town. Full of turtles, all of them wandering around, some had markets, and some had restaurants. It was so much more lively than the other island, even having a docking bay, which conveniently the boat was parked by.
Seeing all of this, Mabel was in awe.
"At last, civilization," Wendy approaches her, "or something like it."
However, Mabel didn't listen, she started to rush forward, running into the town.
She walked towards different places, and see the turtles interacting with each other, she wanted to talk but she knew that they can't talk, luckily she has her phone just in case, with her headset, she doesn't need it for reading Homestuck.
Speaking of, while she explores, she can read Homestuck, already there is a unique structure ahead of her, a big tower with a circle at the bottom. Curious to check that out, but a long way to before she gets close to it.
[921 - 925]
Dipper:
"huh, the main guy is okay," Dipper said, remembering the last time he saw the white wastelander when they were caught in an explosion.
Webby:
"ah, the robot worm helped," Webby said, finding the worm giving the wastelander the mail incredibly touching.
The rest just find it a little weird.
Cartman:
"Do I have to ask? Or is this as confusing to you guys?" Wendy asked.
"This is in the future and these guys are somehow connected to the kids," Stan explained as much as he could with this.
Mabel:
"Nice worm," Mabel said, looking at the pages as she walk through the streets, glad to see the white wastelander not only surviving the explosion from last time but glad to see the worm help getting the mail. "nothing will stop you from delivering that mail to someone.
Hilda:
"At least they're okay," Hilda said, a little worried before but seeing these pages, was glad, even so when a grey worm helped the wastelander.
[925]
Approaching an interesting statue of a funny worm, Mabel suddenly got a pester notification, who could it be-
Oh, him…
Okay, let's get this over with.
- DipperSisterkitten [DS] began pestering RacoonAuthority [RA] –
RA: What the F**k!
DS: augh!
DS: don't say that!
DS: please don't say mean words to me
RA: no!
RA: you have to explain this!
RA: why are you in my dream!?
DS: my dream?
RA: Yes
RA: I was having a great time asleep then I saw you in one of those cool towers
RA: why are you there!?
DS: Oh!
DS: you saw it!
RA: saw what?
DS: that was the thing I was talking about, skaia
DS: the blue thing in the sky
RA: what about it?
RA: I'm more caring of anyone being part of my dreams
RA: I was having a great time till you assholes show up
DS: so you have been there before?
RA: yeah, for a long while
RA: I flew the cool world, I have a cool friend, and we used to talk about a lot of stuff
RA: then, just when I return to my tower, I found you, sleeping by the window
DS: Webby told me about that, she has been there.
RA: oh she's in that dream too?!
RA: why are people taking over my f**king dream?
DS: you swear again and I will leave this chat,
DS: seriously, I don't like people saying mean words
RA: f**k off, you ugly, brace-freak stupid b*tch
- DipperSisterkitten [DS] has blocked RacoonAuthority [RA] from pestering –
RA: wait, you haven't told me why you were there!
RA: b*tch, are you there?
RA: Damnit!
Mabel felt relieved to find a block option for this pesterchum app, she never want to hear from that huge jerk ever again.
[926]
Not much to say on this page, the only acknowledgement of the webcomic going back to Rose.
[927 - 928]
Dipper:
"Like what the wastelander had," Dipper recalls.
Webby:
"Another teleporting appearing thingy," Webby said with a smile.
Cartman:
"So, a device that appears things?" Wendy asked, with a couple of boys nodding in response.
Mabel:
"more petrifying!" Mabel said with a smile, remembering what the mayor did.
Hilda:
"Appearify?" Frida asked, "that's not a word."
"something to do with appearing things… I think, wouldn't have that word if it didn't." Alfur pointed out.
[929 - 930]
Dipper:
"So unlike the other device, this one shows the screen?" Dipper questions, "where is the camera for the feed?"
Webby:
"Huh, so Rose has talked with her cat?" Lena asked, "and so young."
"even at that age, she likes to talk to people, or at least her cat," Huey added.
Cartman:
While the group goes onto the pages, Mr Kitty appears, as she looks at the screen, she starts to growl, not liking the late cat on the screen.
"Hey look, kitty," the second youngest in the group pointed out.
Mabel:
"And there's Jasper," Mabel said, "happy to see him alive. And still cute in that suit."
Hilda:
"Those are some fancy chairs," Hilda said, "must have a luxurious house."
"and the kitty dressed nice." David chuckled.
[931 – 933]
Dipper:
"Just like the pumpkin, paradoxes turn into slime," Dipper said, recalling what happens when an appearifier attempts to appearify something that would result in a time paradox.
Webby:
"More slime things!" Dewey snickered.
"at least it's a countermeasure for paradoxes," Huey said, "imagine the consequences if it didn't turn into slime?"
Cartman:
"Okay, that cat went from cute to gross," one of the girls said just when Mr Kitty meows viciously and then runs away from the group.
Mabel:
"More of that slime," Mabel said, recalling when the slimy pumpkin.
Hilda:
"What just happened?" Alfur asked, already having a book ready to write notes.
"I think what she's doing is time travel," Frida explained, "she tried to bring the cat here, but it caused a paradox."
"And no time worms?" Hilda asked, causing the two friends to look at her in confusion.
"uh, never mind, let's move on!" Hilda quickly went to the next page.
[934]
Dipper:
"Ectobiology," Dipper said, the word is somewhat familiar, "that's new."
Webby:
"So paradox clones are possible, but it causes mutations," Huey said, putting the logical parts of this concept into his guide book, "weird science with time travel, but intriguing."
Cartman:
"yeah, that's a weird-looking clone cat," butter nervously said, "at least it's not a cat with three butts."
Mabel:
Mabel laugh at the mutated cat, "that cat has two heads."
Hilda:
"Etcobiology?" Frida questions, not knowing the word, "so none of this is magic."
"Seems like it," Alfhur said, "all of this is in the workings of science."
This has left the witch-in-training a little down, at first the slime and the cloning seems to be a work of magic when all of it has a reason, though it wouldn't stop her to know more about etcobiology.
[935 - 936]
Not a lot to react, but mostly those who recall Jasper being dead, all of them thought and a few said the same question.
"What happened to Jasper?"
[937]
Dipper:
Dipper was curious about the whereabouts of Jasper, the images don't help but add an interesting mystery
Webby:
"huh…" Hewey was confused, "so to sum it all up, Jasper disappeared, then… was found dead on the beach a week later."
"heard something like this before," Louie said before sipping his drink.
"It still doesn't answer what happened to the cat, how did he die? Did someone kill him and dumped the body near a beach or something?"
"so all of this is a murder mystery!" Webby said, now intrigued to find out what happened to Jasper.
Cartman:
"Glad Cartman isn't here to see this," Kenny said, "you know what he's like with cats."
"Not as much as you do with cats" Stan added, causing Kenny to be a little offended.
"Hay, I stopped doing that…yeah…"
Mabel:
"oh…" Mabel, who throughout was enjoying the pages, found this one a little sad. Seeing a dead cat at the beach, was a little unsettling, especially when she is in a spa-like environment.
She thought about it, imagining the worst possible way this image could appear in her own life, thinking about the clay moving sea, washing up a frozen, unmoving Mabelan…
No.
Don't think about it.
She quickly went to the next page and try to forget the image.
Hilda:
"Wait, so what happened to the cat?" David asked, still confused by the previous image.
"According to the text, the cat disappeared and showed up a week later dead, we don't know what happened between."
"Such a poor thing," Hilda felt a little sad seeing these images. "What could have… harmed Jasper?"
[938]
Dipper:
Dipper watched the video, seeing the journey of the dead cat, witnessing the funeral, mentioned before by Rose, and seeing the progression until the moment Jasper disappeared.
"Well… that's something," Dipper sighs. "Well, pets don't last forever."
"Yeah," Pacifica said, remembering her pets, all of them dead but a few that were passed before this day. There was no funeral, no mounting, none of the fancy stuff.
Her parents straight out told her what happened to them.
"But hey, it's the time we had from them that counts," Dipper said. "at least what I get from Mabel and her pets."
Webby:
Seeing the journey of the dead cat, with the addition of mutant cats, the group were a little unsettled.
There weren't many words to say, so they continued after it made a sudden reveal.
Cartman:
The group watches the video, this showed a side that only of few of them know already. The idea of what anyone leaves behind when they die.
They thought about Craig and his recent death. Tweek is still holding his severed hand, holding it tightly, getting as much as he could from what was left of his boyfriend.
Unfortunately, he is gone. There is absolutely nothing that can bring him back… Unless.
Mabel:
Mabel looked at the video, hearing the sounds of meows, if it was cute meows she would have giggled in excitement, and chuckle at the adorable cats.
However, these meows were… horrifying.
Mostly because of the video presented, showing the passing of a pet.
She has yet to be through that phase of losing a pet, well… technically Waddle is no longer himself since the prototyping.
But still, it made her wonder what would happen if Waddles pass away, or wadpersprite or any of the Mabelands?
Again, too much to think about, so she went to the next page.
Hilda:
The four watch what happened to the cat after his death, seeing a funeral, with only Rose and her mother, it makes sense that it would be only them.
This brought a comforting smile for Hilda, still sad, but glad that they are giving the animal the rest it deserves… maybe a bit too much for a pet and not a person, but still.
Her deerfox approaches her, rudding by her side, she looked down to find Twig.
She wonders what she has left with Twig, she thought about what happens when he grows to become a big fox, too big to live in the flat, would she have to let him go to the wild? The thought of this scares her.
She tries to forget unsettling thoughts and pat her deerfox.
"It's alright, Twig, I'm here."
[939 - 941]
Dipper:
"about time," Dipper was relieved for Rose to get out before the lab 'unestablishes'. Though wonder what would happen, all he can assume is that the lab ceases to exist.
Webby:
"That was a close one," Webby said, happy that Rose not only got her dead cat but managed to get out before the timer runs out.
Cartman:
"So what would have happened if she stayed there?" Butters asked, a little unsure about the whole 'unestablish' part of the timer.
"f**k if I know," Kenny shrugs.
Mabel:
"Got the dead cat, and the mutant cat, and you are off!" Mabel said before looking up to see how close she is to her destination.
Hilda:
"Glad that she got out of there," Hilda said before checking the timer, seeing that time has now passed with the timer down to ten minutes. "Better get a move on, shall we?"
[OS-154]
Mabel arrives at her destination, looking up at the very large circular structure. It was black with strange symbols surrounded by lines that reminds her of a familiar symbol but she couldn't remember what it was.
What she does recognise is a shape of a heart in the middle of this circle, cut in half, one is full, and the other is hollow.
Another circle appears below, seemingly to be a doorway, but entirely bricked.
All of this, Mabel was in great awe and wonder, staring at the structure for what felt like an eternity, as if this thing is not only important but somewhat… a part of her.
Suddenly, she was poked by the arm, this broke her stare and looked down to see another turtle in a cloak, looking like a wise mentor in fantasy movies.
"Hello!" Mabel said before giving her phone to the turtle, "use this to communicate."
The turtle looked down at the phone and tapped buttons, when he gave it back to Mabel, she read the text.
'you are in sanctum grounds'
"Sanctum?" Mabel said, repeating the same action for the conversation.
'This is the grand tomb of the Witch.'
"Can you tell me more about this tomb?"
A pause, the turtle was typing more than ever, giving amputation for the human girl.
Once she finally got the phone back, she read.
'It is said that if that Witch of Heart avoids the great prophecy of our lands, she will come to this tomb where she will lay her eternal rest, a sacrifice to keep doom from us all. For now, it lays dormant, awaiting when the Witch arrives and makes her choice.'
This sounds very tempting for Mabel, knowing that she is the Witch of Heart, it implies that this is her tomb, but it looks more like a decorative cliffside, there aren't any rooms to 'rest' in.
"When will the Witch show up?" Mabel asked, for now, she choose not to give her away to the turtle.
'The Witch of Heart will venture throughout the clay seas, all to reunite with the Heir of Light, and separate the two walls apart. The Witch will seek to break the grand wall, all knowing its consequences, but she will not care, as all, she wants more than anything is to find her Heir.'
Putting it that way, it sounded like a warning…
Or a quest.
She wants to find Dipper, she assumes the Heir is her brother, and she wants to find him again. That's what she wanted.
"Is there any other way for the Witch to reach the Heir?" she asked.
'The Heir will come to her, but the Witch will be impatient, she will seek the grand Horn of Bonds.'
"Horn of Bonds?"
'The horn, a powerful artefact that can be our salvation or our destruction.'
'It all depends on how the Witch uses it if she receives it.'
This made her curious towards this horn.
"where is this horn?"
'how should I know? I never left this island all my life, I only know about what is written on the walls of this sacred place, find someone else to tell you stuff, you weirdo!'
Okay, she kinda pushed too much for this turtle.
"Okay, thanks," she said before reading more of Homestuck.
[OS-155]
With enough reading, Hilda pesters Dipper to resume their game.
- TrollburgHelper [TH] began pestering PinesDecipher [PD] –
TH: read more of the story
TH: it's quite… unique.
PD: I guess a lot of it is lost to you, right?
TH: there have been a few characters that weren't fully established
TH: I have read Webby's document that gave a few explanations, but I wished that I have seen what was shown in the earlier story.
PD: yeah, not getting the full context would be a problem
PD: the only person who is getting the full story is me, I still remember how this story started.
PD: would you imagine that it started with simply a boy in his room?
TH: I would
TH: when I started reading Homestuck, I started with a girl sleeping in her indoor garden.
PD: yeah, a lot had happened since then.
TH: we are getting off track, can we continue with the game
PD: of course.
.
PD: I deployed everything you need to enter the Medium
PD: The Alchemiter is up on the roof.
TH: I beg your pardon?
PD: Can you reach your rooftop? Like some stairs or something?
TH: Our flat doesn't have any stairs that lead to the roof.
TH: Besides, why would anyone want to go there, what would be the point?
PD: Okay, looks like I need to improvise
.
Dipper starts to improvise, using the revised tool to remove a part of the wall, making a big obvious opening that surprised the children on Dipper's screen.
TH: Dipper! What are you doing?
PD: we need to get you on the roof somehow
TH: Mum is going to ground me for life if she finds out!
TH: we need to fix this!
PD: you need to trust me, Hilda
PD: I just spent the rest of the grist making a pathway on the roof.
PD: we can fix it after playing the game
TH: Okay, hopefully, everything goes back to normal when this is all over…
Hilda proceeds to ascend the pathway set by Dipper up to the roof. While she does that, Frida and David resume reading Homestuck.
[942 - 945]
Dipper:
While the pages change to show Jade, Dipper watched the other screen, showing Hilda discovering the Alchemiter placed on her roof.
There wasn't any room in her apartment, and he thought that she could access her room.
But what is done is done, at least she is amazed by the device.
Webby:
"Yeah, that's not concerning or anything," Louie said with obvious sarcasm.
Cartman:
Seeing the ominous glowing dog, Mr Kitty ran off. While everyone else was a little shaken but curious about this dog.
"Must be her pet," Stan said.
Mabel:
"her pet is playing hide and seek with her," Mabel giggled, curious about this sudden disappearing dog-like creature.
Hilda:
David was jumped by the sudden creature that disappeared when Jade turn around.
"What was that?" David asked.
"I think that's a dog?" Alfur said.

Dipper:
"Oh, this must be the great mystery we built up for?" Pacifica asked, "what's in his father's room?"
"At least we get to see John again…" Dipper said, looking at the room, "well… this isn't the full room just a glance."
Webby:
"Okay," Webby clap her hands, "time to reveal the secrets of his dad, I wonder what treacherous hidden secrets he has…"
"I… don't think he has any." Louie said, "it looks regular to me."
"Quiet!" Webby shouted before clicking on the next page.
Cartman:
"Oh wow, turns out his dad is… normal… who would have guessed." One of the boys said in sarcasm.
Mabel:
"What are you hiding!" Mabel sat at the edge of the staircase, reading more of Homestuck to see the reveal of the room of John's dad.
Hilda:
"A bed, a briefcase, fancy shoes, ties, an iron…. Nothing out of the ordinary to me." Alfur pointed out.

Dipper:
"So he thought he was a street performer making jester antics… but it turns out he is exactly like Tad Strange." Soos shook his head in this disappointing reveal.
"Who?" Pacifica asked
"Tad Strange, like the most regular dude in town."
"Well… I think we all had our fair share of secrets," Dipper said, "but John's… yeah disappointing, but… a relief when you think about it."
Webby:
"What?" Webby said, incredibly disappointed by the sudden twist.
"no… no… that can't be just that… he can't be just a regular businessman, I thought he has secrets!" she took off her device and held it in front of her.
"you promise me secrets! Why didn't you deliver!"
"Webby, calm down, it's just a story."
"No!" Webby shouted back, "you don't know how much this means to me, to go along with all of this for a promise, only for it to be taken away from me! I was promised, adventures, secrets and rewards and what did I get? Nothing!"
In the end, she slams on the Alchemiter and starts to cry.
"Why is there nothing here?"
Cartman:
"So… his dad is just… normal?" Tolkien asked with everyone not sure about the pages, yeah it might sound disappointing. But better than their parents, most at least.
Mabel:
"And so… it turns out that his dad is… a businessman!" Mabel said, playing along and acting shocked by the sudden twist. "and all this time, we thought he was a clown!" she laughed at the last part.
Overall, reading Homestuck brightened up my mood.
Hilda:
"And I'm back," Hilda said, returning from the roof, "what did I miss."
"We found out John's dad is a regular businessman." Frida explained, "and nothing else."
"Well, I found the device Dipper mentioned, it seems weird but intriguing."
She then proceeds to go out of her Bedroom.
Only to find a sudden surprise.
"Hilda! What is this?!" her mum asked.

Meanwhile at the South Park Community Center.
Adults from the entire town had gathered, arguing, complaining, and yelling at each other towards the main situation that is occurring lately.
Said situation is the issue of meteors and the potential end of the world.
"Would you all calm down please?" Mayor McDaniels attempted to calm down the crowd, "I know the escalation of the meteors is a major issue, but we have to remain calm and-"
"Remain calm?" Mr White stood up, "the White's house has been ruined by those darn rocks, we barely survived, how would make the whites calm from this?"
"I know that your house has been…"
"And it's not the houses," Mr Tucker stood up, "people have already been hit or died by this rock, what if my son dies by one of those."
"I know, but we are in the process of a plan to protect what remains…"
"What remains?!" Mr Lu Kim, "my Sh*tty Wok had been wrecked by those sh*tty rocks! I am so f**king angry!"
"We must not panic everyone! We must remain-"
A sudden kick noise was heard, the complaining stopped, and everyone quickly turned to the door that was kicked.
There, was a man, a man that many in this town knew, a man who often does the silliest things, who helped the town or cause its problems. And as of late, gotten popular with the weed business.
This man was Randy Marsh.
"I know you all are afraid," he started, "I know that meteors are raining down on us, and maybe, we will all die by an unstoppable force… by I… have a plan!"
Everyone stayed silent as Randy walk down the middle row of the crowd, people notice he was wearing a towel over his shoulders.
"We have been through one incident after another, the volcano, the celebrities, advertisements ruining our lives, the near exposed of our internet history and let us not forget our recent encounter with Jeff Bezos."
He is at the front of the crowd.
"We could have lost it all, we could have all died then, but we didn't why? Because we all stood up together! We cared for each other, and we always fight through our way out of any problem, when we put our minds to it, with tegridy! Nothing is impossible!"
He took the microphone away from the mayor.
"Ladies and gentlemen, I have been gifted by a boy in red pyjamas last night, he warned me of this day and told me how to survive, I am here to show you the way out."
He reaches into his pockets.
"We will live through this! In our combined force and tegridy, we will escape and reach a new world, a world where we can be free, from the political assholes ruining this country, from the terrible threat that is China, and from these meteors!"
He found what he was looking for, he pulls it out.
"Everyone… who wants a party!"
He lifted the paper, revealing a flyer to Cartman's party.
The crowd stayed silent, confused and staring at Randy.
"Also! Everyone who attends will get a free Whynot Special! Because, you know, why not?"
End of Act 3: Part 4.
