Everyone filed out of the theater to be met with an Italian-styled courtyard with an old oak tree in the middle of it. Sandstone paths direct individuals throughout the mystical place. The oak tree was decorated with paper lanterns that had animals on them. Lush greenie surrounded the yard climbing over the sandstone pillars. Rooms were on the left side and on the right side was a training hall. In the corner of the left side was an infirmary. All of the doors were made of wood with detailed craftsmanship. Across from the group was the dining hall. As the group walked through the courtyard, Kenji looked up to be met with a black sun above him.

"Wow! What is that?" He pointed in awe.

The group followed his line of sight. It didn't hit them that they were in a supernatural place until they looked up. They were met with a glass dome that seemed to shimmer with an eclipse in the center. The light it supplied was perfect, yet it felt off as they stared up at the sky.

Kunikida answered the question that was asked. "It is an eclipse, it's when the moon covers the sun."

"How long will it last?"

"Um…Well, I'm not sure."

The group stared a moment longer before continuing on. Dazai played with his pocket as the group worked their way to the dining hall, seeming to be searching for something. When he was done fidgeting with his pockets, he let out an "oh." Dazai turned to his mentee. "I think I left my book, in there. I will be right back. Check if they have canned crab and sake for me."

"Ah, yeah sure."

Atsushi watched as his mentor walked back to the theater, his coat dancing as he went back to the theater. The weretiger continued with the group, he looked on in amazement as Atsushi entered the dining hall. Wooden tables and chairs spacestly filled the main area with candles that never seemed to melt, sat on the walls. At the end of the hall was a kitchen with a server counter connecting the areas. Ranpo hastefully bounced over to the kitchen and started to go through the cabinets. Everyone followed suit with far more grace for their desired healthy/junk food.

"Maybe, I should make something instead?" Said Kunidiki

Everyone froze, mid-raid. Their stomachs desire something more than snacks.

"Oh, Chuuya can help you, he is a really good cook." said Hirustu. Tachihara started to look around the group. "Hey, where's Chuuya, anyway?"

Dazai closed the door to the theater. And was met with his ex-partner's intense gaze. His own hollow, like he dug out all the love and kindest, leaving an empty void where his emotion once lived. Sometimes Chuuya forgot how cold he could get but never how cruel, but by watching him with Atsushi, he knew Dazai was acting out of fear. It was humorous in a way, but he knew the black hole in his eyes was not a good sign; it was a reminder of the Dazai of the past. And Chuuya couldn't find enjoyment in Dazai's pain. Him and Dazai were two-sides of the same coin. A part of him hurt, but that part was buried under years of betrayals, putting up with the insanity he would put him through and being tasked with picking up the pieces after his departure.

"Oh, hey Chuuya . You must be enjoying the show." Dazai said in an overly cheerful voice, a smile playing on his lips, but it never reached his eyes as worked his way back to his seat.

"I greatly enjoy watching you squirm." He emphasized the word 'squirm' standing on the bottom floor. "However…"

"However." Dazai repeated, reaching his seat. Though his voice was the same neutral tone. The mafioso could tell Dazai wished him not to finish the thought. And he didn't.

"You really did get caught for a kid." He paused, disliking the taste of the words in his mouth.

"Is it truly that hard to believe?"

"What's your endgame with the kid?" Taking a few steps closer to Dazai.

Dazai let out a deep sigh. "There is no endgame, I just decided to take him in."

"Bullshit." His anger taking hold of him. "The fact we're in this place at all proves that you are scheming something."

"I thought you were going to kill me, better yet find me a pretty lady so I could commit double suicide with." Dazai said, making his way back to the door. They both were tired from the events that occurred before being stuck in this place.

Somehow he couldn't get past Akutagawa's response to seeing Dazai treat the weretiger with warmth and words of comfort, words that his former mentee never received. "I'm not doing this anymore. You want to drown, then drown."

"You and your shitty poetry."

He reached for Dazai's collar and pulled him in close. So there would be no misgiving of what he was saying. "Acknowledge him."

"Chuuya," in a low tone that promised pain.

The door creaked open, double black turned to source, there Mori was dressed in a lab coat.

"Oh, Hi Mori. What brings you by?" Dazai said in the most cheerful voice he could muster.

"You know if you two want to fight there is a training hall and if you need treatment after I could treat you in the infirm-"

"Yeah, we don't think so…" Dazai said for both of them. Though Chuuya would have phrased it differently, as he does respect his boss even if he didnt want treatment from the man. Dazai and Mori, he could never put his finger on their relationship. Was it boss and employee, mentor and mentee, or was it… He had to stop that train of thought. Chuuya released his hold on Dazai's collar. Both stared at one another before starting up the gallery stairs. They walked past the port mafia's boss. The man turned to the younger men.

"You boys should get cleaned up, no offense but you two smell like you worked up a sweat, specifically you, Dazai."

Dazai almost turned but Chuuya took hold of his coat to prevent him from saying anything else to the man.

"Yes, sir." said Chuuya as he dragged his ex-partner away from his boss.

Dazai, despite his height, was barely keeping up with his ex-partner then Chuuya let him go to which Dazai fell, landing on his butt.

"Tch," the brunette proclaimed, rubbing his bottom as he rose to his full height.

"You should be more gentle with me, Chuuya . I'm delicate, like porcelain." Dazai said. Chuuya let out a low growl at the comment. He continued onwards, Dazai falling in step.

Dazai led by Chuuya made their way to the room area of the building. Each room had two names on it. Chuuya walked past the door's looking for his ex-partner's room to throw him into. 'Yosano and Kyoko', 'Akutagawa and Gin', 'The president', 'The Boss', and then he saw it. "Dazai " He grabbed a hold of the other only to read the other words on the plaque. "and Chu–" They would be bucking together. They turned to one another and scowled at the other. Chuuya let go and tried Atsushi and Kenji's room but as he reached for the doorknob, it vanished. He turned back to their room. The two reached for the door then got more mad when their hands met. Dazai pushed the door open. The room was like a beach resort room. Their eyes went to the window that was covered in plain blue sheer curtains. On the left side were two oak platform beds with the size not as big as a queen. Between the two beds was a bedside tables. A table sat on the right side with chairs on either side. Next to it was a bathroom which had a tub with a shower head above it and two sinks. A dresser and a hatrack sat on the other side of the window, to the right of the entrance door. Chuuya went over to the dresser to find labeled drawers with either names on specific drawers. The mafioso opened his drawer to find comfy clothes in his styles. The redhead put his hat and coat on the rack, grabbed the clothes and walked himself to the bathroom. He turned to Dazai making eye contact then slammed the door.

Dazai took off his own coat. He eyed his drawer before opening it to find long sweaters and lounge pants. In a container at the side of the clothes was bandaged. He took a gray blue sweater, tan lounge pants, and bandages. He jumped on the bed, waiting for Chuuya to be done with his freshening up, hearing the sounds of the shower. He pulled out his favorite book and began reading it. He knew Chuuya would not shower with haste.

Finally, Chuuya came out in loose black joggers, a white shirt, and a black cardigan. Dazai looked over his ex-partner before putting his book down on the bedside table. He rose from the bed, and said, "For the record, I hate this and Hatrack."

"Likewise, tacky bastard."

Dazai made his way to the bathroom, pushing the hatrack out of the way. Chuuya bared his teeth in response and then headed to find the group.

Chuuya walked into the dining hall. Immediately, his eye fell onto the kitchen; it was his dream industrial kitchen. His fingers itched to run his fingers over the pans and skillets that hung from the ceiling. The redhead could already think of several dishes he could make with its beige walls.

"Oh, there you are sir. We were debating whether to have dinner before or after we watched another episode." Higuchi said, beaming at the idea of cooking someone only for Akutagawa.

"I see."

"Yes, I brought up the idea. I am sure you're hungry as well." Said Kunikida, trying to be friendly.

"I think we should wait. The faster we get this over the better we all will be."

"Wait, where's your work outfit, sir?" Higuchi questioned.

"I just got off a fourteen hour flight to then be stuck putting up with Dazai shit. So, I decided to take a long shower to clean off the fish stink."

"Oh." She said, not knowing a better response than that.

"Guess, we should head back." The redhead said, turning on his heels.

"Well, hold-on what does everyone want? I was think of making a big potluck-"

"Yeah that sounds good." Most agreed with the idea. Chuuya wanted to make something fancy. However, the exhaustion from the day was starting to set in. 'A potluck sounds good right about now.'

"If you want I can assist you." Chuuya said, getting closer to the taller man.

"To be honest, Chuuya, you look ready to fall over," Kunikida said, trying to be as pleasant as possible.

"Well, still I can-."

"I can help you Kunikida." Higuchi cut in, practically drooling at the idea of hand feeding Akutagawa.

"Of course, I will always welcome any assistance," said Kunikida, smiling with joy.

"I guess, we should work our way back to the theater," said Tanizaki. And slowly, they all worked their way back to the theater. Mori was already there, his hands feeling the remote over. The group sat in their respective spots.

"We're missing Dazai. Who is going to dragging him back him."

"I will go retrieve him." "Fine, I will drag him back." Two individuals stood up from their seats. The gallery looked at the two, who were so extremely different down to their attire. Kunikida and Chuuya look at each. Chuuya sat down. He chastised himself for allowing his old habit to kick in.

"I will go collect him." And with that, the blond went to get his partner. There was a pause, and then they heard whaling and cries from the hall. The door slammed open to Kunkida, dragging Dazai behind him. Dazai clearly had changed and was now wearing a light blue sweater and joggers that hung loosely on his frame. He continued to drag him down the stairs each level he let out a pained cry. To which Chuuya found great joy in. Finally, Kunikida let him go and returned to his seat.

"He has been retrieved. We can begin."

Mori turned away from his former employee and press play.

The projector roared to life, displaying the card saying, "Apology from ADA Member: Tanizaki Junichirou."

"I-I-I'm Really Sorry!" Tanizaki's words were written out on screen, then were replaced with the man himself slamming his hands onto a table, "I know it was for a test but I was really, really rude to you. I'm a part-timer here at the Agency."

"Um… what is he talking about." said Higuchi.

"Well…If I remember correctly–" Dazai thought back on the day and realized he was royally screwed. In less than twenty minutes, his dirty little secret would be revealed. The detective continued, "It was for Atsushi's entrance test. Tanizaki played a bad guy seeking revenge on the agency, it was a beautiful performance."

"You think so, Dazai?"

"Why of course, with the limited information I gave you and your sister you both played your roles wonderfully."

The two Tanizaki beamed at Dazai's praise.

"I'm surprised you need one of your members to play that role. I'm sure any of your enemies would volunteer. Hell, I would do it." Chuuya threw out.

"Well, they need to be able to reach my chin to qualify."

"Tch, knock it off about my height already."

"Lastly, the true star of the show, Atsushi."

The weretiger looked towards his mentor as he blushed up a storm. "Dazai."

"You did a lovely job and passed with flying colors." Atsushi looked at the floor, he really couldn't take such praise, yet he could hater directed at him but from whom he couldn't tell.

"I wouldn't say that Dazai." Atsushi mumbled out.

"Well, what else would you call it." Dazai inquired from the young weretiger.

"Any idea why we are skipping it, it seems to be important." Said Tachihara, curious about the inner workings of the agency.

"No idea, but at the very least we get to see Atsushi's first job." Dazai said cheerfully. Dazai wondered if this would be an ongoing trend for their viewing experience.

Tanizaki's siblings and Atsushi's eyes bugged out at the statement. It was the day they met the port mafia's dog, Akutagawa. They both ponder how they could forget something so important.

In the background at the bar, Kunikida and Dazai were kicking each other, like children while the poor barista watched.

Tanizaki, formally introduces himself and begged for forgiveness again from the wronged party.

"Nice to meet you, Tanizaki Junichirou. My name is Tachihara." said Tachihara as it seemed to him they hadn't done an introduction.

"Yeah, nice to meet ya too." Tanizaki smiled back at the port mafia member. He was their enemy, but he had grown fond of him.

"I want you to know that I am my brother's most important person." Naomi jumped in, sensing a relationship forming between the two.

"Naomi?"

"I'm just making sure he knows. Big Brother."

"I would never dream of taking him away from you." He stumbled out.

"Good." Naomi said, hugging her brother closer. Said Brother just sighed.

Atsushi waves his hands in front of his face, "It's fine, Don't worry about it."

'He seems nice.' Atsushi thinks.

"And this is," Naomi jumps on him halfway through his introduction, finishing his sentence, "His little sister, Naomi!"

Atsushi looks very put-off, "You two are brother and sister? For some reason, I thought you had a different relationship.."

Naomi's eyes switch to a very dreamy gaze, "Oh, do you think I'm lying?"

A resounding, "Ah" at that. So many had questions about the relationship. However, that was when on-screen Kunikida spoke.

"You should leave this subject alone if you know what's good for you."

The card next to Atsushi reads, "Atsushi reads between the lines."

"Isn't he so cute." said Dr. Yosano

"He really embodies a feline." said Kenji

"Office Cat." siad Dazai

"I'm a Tiger!" Atsushi yelled back

Kunikida straightens, "Listen closely, Now that you have joined our ranks you should act accordingly."

"Unlike Some People Here I Could Mention!" He shouts at the Tanizaki siblings. They both stop their play.

Kunikida takes a deep breath, "I work to uphold the agency's good name, we are all committed to that goal… well at least some of us are," He turns around looking to Dazai to back him. He was met with Dazai, running his fingers down the waitress's hand, "Will you strangle me with your beautiful fingers…"

"Classy Dazai, classy. Making sure to ask every beautiful woman in the area to be your partner in suicide. Practically begging them to fulfill your dream."

"Begging isn't the word I would use more like kindly suggest to join me in a beautiful end."

It was hard to listen to this, and the question remains why, why when he had the agency when he had Atsushi did he feel he needed to go through with this end?

"It's called harassment."

"I have only asked her once, all the other times I flirted was to get her to forget about my bill."

"Then flirt with the owner."

"Do you think it would work?"

A collective sigh was heard.

Kunikida runs over and smacks him hard over the head, "Were you listening to a single word I said? My hands might not be as great as hers, but I still want the honor of wringing your neck." His voice got louder with every word.

"That is so nice of you, Kunikida." said Kenji, "Though you should work on your wording."

"I–" Kunikida replied.

"To offer to help him with his suicide so kind. Gin said that." said Tachihara, reading from Gin's notebook.

Kunikida frowned but said nothing else.

Atsushi sighs, even heavier than normal.

"I was wondering," The camera shows Kunikida strangling Dazai, a title card reading, "Two Senior colleagues shaming the Agency's good name."

"You know Atsushi has only been on the job for what… one day and he's already done with both of your bullshit." said Yosano.

"I wouldn't say that I mean it's just an adjustment." Atsushi said.

"That's weretiger for seeking medical assistance." Said the doctor.

Many of the agency's members chuckled in agreement and even some of the mafia did as well.

"What were you guys doing before you joined the agency?"

Both men stopped moving, and Atsushi panicked, "I'm sorry I was just curious!"

"Take a guess," Dazai says smoothly, "It's a game we play a lot here actually. Every newcomer tries to guess their colleague's former jobs. Think of it as training to be a detective."

"Oh, please this is easy," said Tachihara, locking eyes with ADA.

"Okay, We're game." said Ranpo.

"Okay, I got this." Tachihara said.

"Guess our previous occupation." Said Kenji.

"We know Kunikida is a Highschool Teache–" Higuchi jumped in.

"Okay stop!" Dazai yelled from his seat.

"Huhhh-!?"

"Rules: if you already know the previous occupation you can't tell the ones who don't. Oh and the great detective can't play in this…" Dazai said, taking hold of the situation.

"That would be a waste of my time." Ranpo said mid-munch.

"But…" Tachihara whined.

"AH AH AH, Can't." Dazai proclaimed, raising his pointer at the boy.

"You just don't want to make it easy to get the award." Said Naomi.

"Not true..." Dazai exclaimed.

"Wait…There is an award?" Said Tachihara.

An image of Kunikida standing in front of a chalkboard appears in Atsushi's head. Atsushi's face scrunches up, "I can totally see that."

"Tell me there's more of this cause I would love to see more of Atsushi's daydream. These are so much better than the trauma trips."

"Tachihara, Shut up–." Said Higuchi.

"No, he's right." said Akutagawa, "No one wants to see his trauma trips.

"That's not really what I meant–"

"Tachihara–"

"Yeah, yeah, I know. Shut Up."

"It was another life," Kunikida grumps, "I don't want to think about it."

"What about me then?" Dazai says casually.

Atsushi cocks his head, "You?"

"Yea, what was my job?"

"Hmmm"

The shot switched between Dazai's beaming face, and Atsushi's pondering face. Atsushi raised a finger to his mouth, "Dazai. Dazai.. Dazai…"

"I have no idea," relents Atsushi.

Kunikida adjusts his glasses, "Don't even bother, nobody knows what he used to do."

Tanizaki beams, "The person who finally figures it out collects a reward, right?"

Atsushi is now on all fours, money flashing in his eyes, "A REWARD!"

"Yea, that's true," Dazai says, "And because no one has got it, the price has really gone up."

"So just out of curiosity," Atsushi leans off the counter, shaking his butt, ready to pounce on his prey. "How much is this reward?"

"He really is a tiger. Are you even aware that you're doing that? Gin is asking." Said Tachihara. Gin next to him nodded.

"Not really, I mean I never thought of it as odd." Atsushi said.

"Seven hundred thousand yen."

"Atsushi, if we work together we can do this and we can split it. 50/50," said Tachihara

"Oh, okay let's do this." said Atsushi climbing up to look at him more clearly. He wiggled a little bit, back and fore at the idea of lots, and lots of money.

"We've got to plan this out. Do you want to come over here or can I go over there?"

"Yeah, join me over here." Atsushi becked him to the light. 'For money he thought, for money.' Tachihara thought to himself.

Tachihara felt like he was crossing the invisible line. A line that promised death once crossed but he wanted that money sooo…..

"Hey, can I get in on this?" Tanizaki said, breaking his contact with his sister who let out a disgruntled grunt.

"Yes, let's do it, the dream team." Tachihara now crossed the invisible line, and if he didn't know any better. Tachihara felt the dirty stares from the gallery as a whole.

"Yeah!" Atsushi yelled, pumped at the idea of money.

Everyone was in awe of the three as they moved around. Atsushi sitting on the other side of Dazai next to him one the floor Tachihara and Tanizaki. All of them had determined grins on their faces.

Atsushi stares at Dazai, the title card behind him reading, "At the thought of seven hundred thousand yen, a fire is lit under this penniless man"

"If I guess correctly, then all that money is mine?" Atsushi aggressively questions Dazai, and does his signature pose back, "A suicidal maniac keeps his word."

"Pause, where are you gettin' the money from Dazai." said Kunikida, turning to the cause of most of his stress.

"Oh, I have my ways and if all else fails. I'll just con Chibi." said Dazai, looking over to meet the stares of both his partners.

"Huh!" Chuuya roared. "I'm not giving you shit." said Chuuya.

"Oh, so you acknowledge you're a little mini me plus that's why I said con. Chuu~ya. Small brain for a small man."

"You lanky bastard. I'm not giving you shit, period!"

"Soo…" Said Tanizaki, palling at the two.

"Let's just trust we will get the money." Atsushi's eyes sparkled with the promise of a fortune. The other two look at each other then at their leader. They could see the promise of treasure as well. They would forge onward to find this great bounty.

Kyoko watched the three so carefree but she couldn't express herself like that but she wanted to so badly. Atsushi caught her eyes. He waved her to join them. She looked over at Akutagawa who didn't knowledge her gaze. Slowly she joined the boys on the floor and began to come up with jobs the man in bandages could have had.

Tanizaki and Naomi watch Atsushi with annoyed faces. "Gotta say," Tanizaki remarks, "He looks very fired up."

Naomi replies, "There's no way he'll guess it."

"That reward…will Be Mine!" Atsushi vows.

He begins throwing out completely random guesses, which Dazai shuts down every time.

"Hey, I just realized something. Atsushi belts kind of acts like a tail. Think his ability causes that?" Said Haruno.

"Probably but more importantly where does one even get a belt like that."

"Oh, the agency got it for me." Atsushi said proudly.

"It was a collective effort." said Haruno

"We all went shopping and decided together what would look best but I believe Dazai got the belt saying something about finding it in his closet." said Naomi.

Mori chuckled at the statement.

Akutagawa wanted to call upon Rashomon and finish him. 'It was an official mentorship and that bumble idiot had no idea.' Clenching his fist at the thought.

Atsushi turned to his mentor. "Thanks for the belt, and thank you everyone for the clothes I think they work for me."

"Aw, Atsushi, you thanked us way more times than we can count but your welcome, Atsushi." Said Doctor Yosano; many agreed with the statement.

Dazai let out a sigh as he ruffed his own hair.

Akutagawa watched as the weretiger walked over to the blond with glasses.

"Kunikida, can I have some pages from your notebook?" The boy practically threw himself at the detective, his eye shining like jewels.

"But this is my–" He didn't get to finish as Dazai had already taken his pen and a few pieces of paper. Kunikida felt violated by the action. As the brunette gave the items to Atsushi.

For his part, Atsushi looked at the two, gave a quick thank you, and crossed his legs, starting to write the occupations he had previously guessed.

Tanizaki and Naomi watch in utter fascination, "Is he even close?"

Naomi's eyebrow twitches, "No idea."

"MODEL!" Atsushi shouts.

Dazai blushes, "No, but that's very flattering . "

"Fair enough Atsushi, fair enough." Said Ranpo.

"I almost hate to say it, you know despite the bangages the wacko is hot." said Doctor Yasona.

"Oh, I'm aware of my beautiful looks, that's why I have to wrap it up. It is the only way to contain my beauty." Dazai said, making a gun under his chin. Everyone pretended not to hear the man.

"Can you blush on command?" said Naomi.

"Oh, yes. most emotions I can fann." Dazai replied, all smiles.

'Scary' many thought at the comment.

"I bet," Kunikida takes a sip of his tea, "You weren't doing anything at all."

"Not true." Dazai said cheerfully with an undertone of seriousness. "I wouldn't lie about this."

"I think I know, he seems like a real city folk you know so maybe a Heirs? I don't think Dazai would do anything tiring." Kenji said. The agency thought, it really did fit Dazai's personality. They turned to the man waiting for the answer. Doctor Yosano spoke up.

"Well, Heirs aren't really a job description." trying to be gentle in her shut down of his guess.

"Not if daddy gives you a fancy job at the company." said Ranpo eyeing the brunette.

"Nope, but thank you. I have always wished I was born an heir." Dazai said dreamily.

"Honestly, if he was that would explain a lot." said Haruno.

"But you won't give hints about your previous occupation." Kunikida said, quite down with Dazai's dramatics.

"I have been doing the same thing I have always been doing." His voice cut like a knife.

"You always work with the police, Dazai, like Ranpo." Atsushi said, turning to Dazai. His eyes, so innocent with the hope of learning more about Dazai but an evil gleam shined through at the idea of getting lots of money.

"Yeah, not with the police but sometimes we benefited from one another." Dazai said without missing a beat. Kyoko looked over the two, it was so clear he was hiding someone. She wondered if she was the only one to notice.

He turns to Atsushi, "If you've given up then," he lifts up the bill, "You can cover the bill!"

Atsushi groans.

Dazai cheekily smirks, "It's our Agency's favorite restaurant, you can always start a tab with them if you don't have any money."

The president finally spoke, "Dazai, you shouldn't be tell him that and you need to start paying your bill. And if you don't I will have no choice but to take it out of your wage."

Dazai let out a choking noise at the president's statement. His co-workers laugh at Dazai finally getting what he deceived.

"Yes, Boss." sighed out, he looked ready to cry at the idea of paying his bill.

Mori eyed the two. He felt a little tightness in his chest by the word. But he had no right to the emotion. He pushed, and he flew away.

"Finally, this might be the start of a new era. Maybe he will start doing his work and coming in on time and–"

"Yeah, that's not going to happen." Ranpo said through a full mouth of kettle corn.

The president continued sipping his tea as some chuckled at the agency antics.

A sound of a phone plays and Tanizaki answers the call, "Hello. Yea. Ok. Got it."

"Is it a job?," Kunikida turns around.

Tanizaki nods, "The client is at the agency already."

"Well," Dazai and the others stand up, "Let's get to work. We'll save the guessing game for another time."

"Oh, there's where you're wrong on-screen Dazai." Tachihara said to the screen, then turned to the dream team. "We are about to end this man's whole career." Tachihara shouted.

"Yeah, we are!" Tanizaki cheered

"I'm going to make a tree so we can figure this out." Atsushi started to draw on the paper. The gallery watches them play on the floor like a group of children with the intent to get more money out of their parents. As they giggled and whispered to one another, trying to figure out what it was.

"Now then," Tanizaki says, "You said you would like to request an investigation, but what kind of investigation are we speaking about?"

The woman is in a formal business suit and pants, her hair is blonde in a bob, by her attire one assumed she was an office worker. Her hands are folded in front of her. A bandage-wrapped one reached out for her hands.

"So beautiful," He laments, "You look like a lotus blossom, just as elegant. Would you care to join me in–"

A collective groan was heard throughout the room. No one got to comment as Kunikida appeared on the screen.

Kunikida hits him, sending him to the floor, and ending his attempt. The office lady watches as Kunikida shoves Dazai into a server room, "I apologize for the distraction, Continue on. I'll take care of this."

The door closes. Those in the room could hear Kunikida's shouts and Dazai's cries as the sounds of Dazai's getting beat up.

"He really can take a beating despite being such a lanky man," said Tachihara.

"Um…hmm. That's our Dazai." said Tanizaki. The group watched on in slight discomfort.

"But his specialty is tactics and strategy…hmmm and he can keep up with the tiger." Atsushi said to the dream team.

"But he could learned all of the physical aspects on the job." said Tanizaki.

"But he said he worked with the government." Kyoko chimed in. They all hmmed in conceptualization.

The woman sits back down and speaks, The group watches in horror. The lady brings their attention to her person. "I will expand on my request."

"Oh." Tanizaki looks taken-aback at her attitude.

Atsushi stares at her, 'She's acting as though this is perfectly normal.'

"Yeah, almost like she used to ability-users who are eccentric. I can think of one right now." Atsushi turned his attention away to meet Akutagawa's eyes locked on him. There it was a strong hatred. The loathing glare directed at him brought a memory to his attention; Kyoko enjoyed their time together, them spending time on a Ferris wheel then a bunny that she clung to. He felt sick the longer the memories came in. Atushi watched as she got along with Tanizaki and Tachihara. The weretiger's focus turned back to the screen.

"You see," she begins, her voice monotone, "There have been some seedy looking people loitering in the back alley of my company's building."

"Can you give us more details?" Tanizaki politely asks.

Her eyes look distressed as she responds, "They wear old and tattered clothes and some of them speak in a foreign language that none of us can identify."

The door slams open as Kunikida steps out, Dazai reaching out for help.

"I swear, why do you guys keep him around if his partner can't even stand him, he seems to lack purpose," said Higuchi.

"Dazai is a genius, moreover sometimes it is best if he sits like the Great detective." came from Mori. "Can't always be playing your trump cards."

"Yes, sorry sir…I was unawar-" Higuchi questioned.

"No captain can do very wrong if he places his ship alongside that of the enemy." said Mori.

"Horatio Nelson, The Nelson touch. 'There is nothing noble in being superior to your fellow men. True nobility lies in being superior to your former self.'" Dazai quoted.

"Ernest Hemingway." Mori smiled, one that was only for Dazai. 'Is that it…' The doctor turned to the screen pounder, something that no one but Dazai could grasp.

Dazai turned away from the man. The days of sitting in Mori's office as they went back and forth on various topics. He didn't want to go back to that time. He could never go back to that time.

She trails off, Kunikida filing in the silence, "You want us to get the evidence for you."

He looks at Atsushi, "Hey, kid. You go."

Atsushi freaks out, "WHAT?"

"Relax," Kunikida says calmly, "It'll be a simple stake-out, Smugglers are rarely violent, just keep watch if they try to make a break for it. It's the perfect first job for you."

"Yes, a very perfect trap." said Kunikida, almost chastising his past self. He then began to write something in his journal.

"Yea, but.."

Kunikida doesn't let him finish, "Junichirou will go with you."

Atsushi looked down; it was his fault they got so injured. If he–if he just shut up and went by himself, none of them would have got so badly injured and almost killed.

Naomi gives her brother a massive hug, "If he's going then I will too!"

The scene cuts to Atsushi packing a small bag of evidence-gathering equipment for the trip. A card popped up next to him that read, "Rookie Detective Nervous about his first job: Nakajima Atsushi."

"Hey, kid." Kunikida cuts into Atsushi's thoughts. Next to him was Dazai resting with his headphones on, "Did you think I would leave you high and dry, like that? I have some advice for you."

He holds out a photo, "Look here. Memorize this photo and take it with you."

"Trust me, Kunikida, I will never forget him." Atsushi said, with a surprising amount of venom. Under his breath, he said, "or forgive, never."

Dazai eyed the weretiger. His other apprentice chimes in.

"If you were to forget weretiger I would happily remind you of who I am before your death." Akutagawa retroit, letting out a cough.

Atsushi glared at the mafia member.

"Beware of this man," Kunikida advises, "If you see him, run."

Atsushi takes the photo, "Who is he?"

"A mafioso," Dazai said, headphones pulled down as he raised himself to a proper seating position. "Honestly, we only call him that because we know next to nothing about him."

Akutagawa let out a low growl. 'Did he really want to separate himself so far from the mafia–from him as much as possible. Was he that much of a failure in his eyes. What would he need to do to prove himself.' The others, aware of Dazai's lie, chose not to show anything at the statement. Many wondered if Dazai's lies would ever be proven to be false.

"Lies…" The mafia's dog whispered to himself.

Kunikida says, "He's part of a vicious criminal organization that works from the port, appropriately called the Port Mafia.."

An image is shown of three people standing in front of a group of black-suited men, a man with a green jacket and a smirk, a woman with a mask over her face and a high ponytail, and an older man wearing a monocle and a grin.

"We look so cool, I hope we get more screen time," said Tachihara.

"We're only on our second watch. I'm sure we will get screen time soon." said Hirotsu.

"Yeah, it's already seen too much of that agency," said Chuuya. "More directly that mackerel's face."

There it was, he really just wanted Dazai off the screen. A collective sigh was heard from the mafia side.

"They are the worst group this city's underbelly has to offer, the man in the photo is especially dangerous. Not even we can get to him." Kunikida concludes.

"What makes him dangerous?" Atsushi's curiosity gets the best of him.

Kunikida's voice is flat, "He's gifted, just like we are. Unfortunately, his ability is designed for bloodshed. The police don't stand a chance... I wouldn't want to fight him."

Atsushi stares in shock, then looks down at the photo again, "What's his name?"

"Akutagawa."

A quiet coughing is heard as a man clothed in black carrying a briefcase walks into a police station.

The police sit at the desk turning around when the man enters.

"What's in the bag?" said Atsushi.

"Now, why would I tell you that?" Akutagawa trying not to murder the weretiger.

"I found this bag on the ground. I think someone lost it." The man says, his thick coat swaying as he walks in.

"Ah," says the policeman, "Thank you very much for bringing it in. You should fill out this lost and found form."

The man takes a couple of steps forward as if to sign it when the police notice something off.

"Wait a minute...I've seen you before.."

"I see you're hard at work Akutagawa." said Mori.

"Yes, sir." Akutagawa replied.

Atsushi was surprised that the man was capable of showing any respect.

The man sounds pleased as he puts the bag on the desk, "Impressive. You got me already."

"Wait," shouts the other policeman, "Isn't He That Wanted Fugitive?"

They raise their guns, "Don't move!"

The man's hair is shown, revealing his white-tipped hair.

"The military police of this city are so distinguished," he says, as black shadows and red lightning emerge from his coat. His mouth curls into a smile.

"What's in the bag?" Atsushi whipped angrily at the mafia member.

"Must you ask? Aren't you a Detective, detect." his voice dripping with annoyance.

"I can figure it out. I just don't understand why you must be so violent."

"Why I must…I am a member of the Port Mafia. What do you not get about that?"

The ability activates as Akutagawa's coat flows, the only part standing out is the white cravat he wears. The screen goes black for a second and then Akutagawa

He passes by a young woman on her way inside. "Hello?" she says, "I'm here to.." She trails off, gasping in horror.

The scene is absolutely brutal as the policeman's bodies are strewn around, blood dripping from the ceiling and the black bag is still on the counter.

The woman takes a couple of steps backward. A beeping sound is heard as the camera shows the bag.

One.

Two.

Three.

An explosion goes off as Akutagawa walks down the road, the impact rustling his hair.

"You don't even think of another solution?"

"Why should I? I was taught to complete my assignments with the utmost accuracy. Which is why your very existence is a mockie to everything I was taught to believe."

"Well, whoever taught you that is a very broken person. But it isn't just that you spread those teachings to Kyoko."

Kyoko, having heard her name, looked at the other two going at it. She didn't know what to do about it. She looked around the room to see many individuals ready to intervene in the fight.

"We're not called the cuddle mafia. We are the Port Mafia. The name alone should strike fear to our enemies and to our allies." Akutagawa stood from his chair. "My mentor was the embodiment of that. He was a perfectionist, everything he did was for the betterment of the organization. His plans were only second to Mori himself. And you will respect him as such." Now standing from his seat, staring down at his enemy.

Atsushi stood from his spot, making his way to Akutagawa. They now stood inches away from one another. "How about this screw you and your mentor." The two looked ready to throw hands which none in the room knew how much damage it would cause to the system.

"Is he dead?" Kunikida stepped into the conversation.

"Once your agency is wiped from the table, so will he." He turned away from Atsushi and sat back down. The weretiger went back to his seat on the floor.

Kunikida sat quietly, writing all of this down. Then finally spoke up, "So he is no longer associated with the port mafia?"

"That's what he claims."

"You saw him recently?" Akutagawa turned to Kunikida, looking slightly past him to see Dazai. His expression showed no emotion. He had said too much.

"Kunikida, I am done answering your questions. You want to know about him, go ask him."

"Like I wou-"

A title card flashes next to him, "Wanted: Akutagawa Ryuunosuke. Ability: Rashomon."

Akutagawa opens a flip phone, his eyes cold.

Kunikida scrowled at the not getting any more out of the mad dog.

"Well, that's different," said Kenji.

"He is a wanted criminal." said Ranpo, munching away.

"It's done.."

The title of the third episode appears, "Yokohama Gangster Paradise," as Akutagawa asks, "Next?"

"So we straight up skip a whole episode." said Haruno.

"Guess so." said Naomi.

The ADA is shown, "Oh, Oh, a double suicide," the camera showing Dazai with headphones on, singing a song. The headphones are ripped off of his head by Kunikida.

"You know what I honestly doubt there's a song out there about double suicide." Said Yosano.

"Oh, there are many song about it double suicide but that shit is made-up." said Chuuya crossing his feet, and stretching out his legs.

"This song is the song of my heart." said Dazai, putting a hand over his heart.

"So, what is it really? You waste of space?" Chuuya, feeling a headache coming on. All he wanted was to finish this episode, then eat some food, only to get a good rest. Even if he was stuck with Dazai.

"Now, Now there's no fun if I tell you is it."

"Hey, Dazai. How come you aren't working?" Kunikida asks.

Dazai beams at him, "I'm waiting for my muse!"

He takes his headphones back and starts singing again.

Tanizaki's laughter cuts into the song, "That sounds very scary!"

Atsushi's defeated face is shown, "It's not really something to laugh about. All this talk about the Mafia and how dangerous they are, I'm not sure I'm cut out for this."

"You'll be fine," Tanizaki reassures him, "If I can manage then I'm sure you can."

"Yea, but," Atsushi protests, "You have an ability too. It's probably way more useful than what I've got."

Tanizaki looks a bit flustered, "Don't set your expectations too high, Mine's not suited for combat."

"Not true." Dazai

"Huh." Tanizaki

"With proper training your ability can be quite useful." Dazai stated to his co-worker.

Tanizaki looked around the room. "Kunikida, could you teach me?"

"Wow, am I not on your shortlist Tanizaki." he whined.

"Oh, it's not that Dazai, it's just I haven't been able to see you fight like really fight. Um…Can you?"

"He can't." cut in Chuuya.

"I very much can just chibi, here is one of the best fighters in Yokohama." pointing an excuser finger at the man.

Atsushi wrote another guess on the paper. He felt like this was the one. He decided to wait until the end of the episode to confirm his guess.

'That money will be mine.' Atsushi thought to himself, stuffing the piece of paper in his pocket.

"We've arrived," The blonde woman announces, The ADA members frozen in their tracks.

"It's this way," She tells them, standing in a dark alley and they reluctantly follow her down the alleyway.

'There's something very creepy about this place', Atsushi remarks to himself as the Tanizaki siblings and he walks down the alleyway, standing in front of the blonde woman.

"Bruh, that's a dead end y'all screwed. I kind of feel bad kind of like you guys." said Tachihara to the dream team.

"Well, it's a good thing we didnt die from the encounter." said Atsushi, his voice sounding off as looked at the screen. 'I don't want to watch this… not again.' A strong feel of needing to vomit overcame him. He took several calming breaths.

"Hmmm, That's odd," Tanizaki remarks, "Is this really the right spot?" He trails off, not knowing her name.

"Higuchi," She tells him.

Tanizaki nods in understanding, "Higuchi, Smugglers tend to be very cautious and always have an escape route, and yet, this is a dead end."

He points at Higuchi who is waiting at the end of the alley, "If anyone came from that direction, they'd be trapped.

"That is correct," Higuchi has a smile in her voice as she sets down her bag.

"I must apologize for deceiving you and leading you into a trap," She tells them, unbuttoning her jacket and pulling up her hair into a messy bun.

"My actual target.." She flips open a phone, the title card next to her reading "Port Mafia: Higuchi Ichiyou"

"Is all of you," She finishes.

"Akutagawa, it's me," She says into the phone.

"AKUTAGAWA!" Atsushi and Tanizaki fearfully repeat her words.

"I have them cornered as planned," Higuchi says coldly.

Akutagawa is shown standing on a building, overlooking the city, "Good, I'll be there in five minutes."

Higuchi raises her guns.

"OH NO!" Tanizaki screams.

"She's with the Port Mafia!" Atsushi realizes just as Higuchi opens fire.

Dazai is shown, holding a newspaper and looking startled.

The scene cuts back to the three in the alley as Higuchi opens fire; Tanizaki's face is shown, blurred in white as a drop of blood hits his face.

Naomi stands in front of him, covered in her own blood, a shield.

A gut-wrenching scream ripped through the audience. Everyone turned to the source. Tanizaki jumps over the bottom row to reach his sister. Most of the room sat confused but the two doctors ran to the girl hunching over, clinching to her brother, sobbing.

"What's wrong with her?" His dry voice as his hands comforted her. Tanizaki looked up at Doctor Yosano.

"We need to move her to the floor."

Tanizaki gently picks her up, moving her to a lower level, then moved out of the way. Doctor Yosano began to check her vitals and feel her body.

"It's okay, it will be okay." said the younger doctor making eye contact with Tanizaki.

Hirutsu got up to try the door to realize it would not budge. "Chuuya, would you mind trying to get the door open."

"Kenji, go help him." Kunikida said; the boy nodded and walked with Chuuya to the door.

Slowly, Doctor Yosano turned to the other Doctor.

"'Pain will be the price.'" He mumbled to himself. In a louder voice, Mori questioned, "Who else gets hurt in this episode?"

"It was Naomi then Higuchi and then myself. But only Tanizaki's siblings got gravely injury." said Atsushi frantically. Doctor Mori and Doctor Yosano locked eyes, then the older of the two walked over to his subordinates. "Higuchi, would you mind sitting on the lower floor for me?"

"Um okay, sir."

"Oh, and I would mental prepare."

"Drugs might alleviate the pain?" Doctor Yosano questioned. She hated this, but she was a doctor first and foremost.

"I'm not sure if that would be helpful. However, if the pain continues after the episode we can re-evaluate." The older doctor replied.

"We need to continue," Dazai said, eyes locked in on the screen.

Chuuya came back down with Hirutsu and Kenji, all looking dejected. "Door ain't budging were struck until the episode ends." Chuuya said with a heavy sigh.

"So, medication is no longer an option in any capacity for this round." Mori said.

Dazai pressed the button.

Tanizaki collapses to his knees,

"Brother… So much…." Naomi's words came out in pained, broken thoughts.

All he could do was hold her closer to him.

She falls to the floor.

He catches her, screaming her name as Atsushi watches in shock.

"Oh god, What should I do? Atsushi, do you have bandages on you?"

Higuchi preps for another round as Tanizaki continues panicking.

He turns around, "Atsushi, grab her legs!"

Atsushi hated hearing his friend so disparate, he felt so useless even now sitting here. All he could do was watch it play out.

A gun barrel is placed on his head as Higuchi approaches, "My research has already told me that you are a non-combatant, I'll do you a favor by allowing you to follow your sister to the after-life."

Tanizaki turns around, fury written all over his face, "You worthless thug!"

His ability activates and Higuchi takes a step backward. Naomi is cradled in Tanizaki's arms.

"You'll pay for hurting Naomi! Ability: Light Snow!"

"I'm not sure you looked into it enough. His ability is not used for combat but clearly he is able to." Said Mori. He looked as if he was disappointed in their scheme to collect the weretiger.

"He is a part-timer and he will stay that way until he's done with school." said Kunikida.

"Until, that is not a luxury you can afford." Mori replied to the uptight detective, his lip curved slightly.

The symbols for Light Snow form and break apart.

As Light Snow activates, Higuchi, pulls out another gun, "Doesn't look like snow to me."

Atsushi is on the floor as Tanizaki speaks, "Atsushi, stay behind me. This woman's days on earth… ARE OVER."

Higuchi draws her guns again, pointing straight at Tanizaki. The bullets go through a green illusion.

"What?"

Tanizaki begins to talk, "My ability transposes the environment onto a digital realm."

"Brother's ability truly is something. I am happy…I could protect you for once. The pain is worth it for that."

Tanizaki looked down at his sister. His emotions were everywhere. He couldn't voice it so he just sat with her, holding her closer to him. 'That's not your job.'

"Damnit," mutters Higuchi.

"I've put this imagery over myself, so you cannot tell where I am!" Tanizaki sounds victorious as Higuchi spins around.

"Even so my bullets can still hit you!" Higuchi spins in a circle, firing on a whim.

"You are wrong…" Tanizaki's hands wrap around Higuchi's throat, choking her. She drops her guns.

Suddenly the air was gone as she crawled at her throat.

"Easy, Higuchi, easy." Mori reached for her to remove her hands at her throat. She struggled against him trying to alleviate the pain and bring back the air in her lungs.

"It's not real, you need to breathe."

He wanted to be bad as she watched Higuchi struggle to breathe in the theater, but he couldn't. She hurt someone he cared about, and for that, she must die.

"You shouldn't let anger control you kid." Kunikida stated, his eyes fixed on the screen.

He looked at the screen. 'Is that me?' He continued to soothe his sister's pain. 'Then what am I supposed to do? She's my world, I can't lose her.'

Then a blast of red lightning hits him in the back, revealing Akutagawa behind him. Akutagawa coughs and wipes his hand across his nose.

Two grasps were heard, one was Higuchi finally catching her breath, and the other was Tanizaki getting impaled.

He went upright, letting out a pained cry as he fell. 'It's so hot.' It was worse, the injury felt like he was stabbed thousands of times after he had just healed from the doctor's treatment. Everything was compared. The feeling of the clothed weapon in his body with the intent to rip him to shreds. He held the injury trying hard not to scream out in pain.

"The stench of death," He says, Atsushi staring at him in absolute horror at the scene in front of him. "Does not discriminate between those who inflict it and those who seek it."

The red lighting pulls itself out of Tanizaki's back, Akutagawa calmly approaching, "Do you not agree?"

Tanizaki jerks as Rashomon leaves his body. He collapses over his sister. "Fuck…"

"It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance," Akutagawa says politely, "My name is Akutagawa. Like this woman here, I am one of the Port Mafia's dogs."

He stops his monologue to cough harshly.

Higuchi gets up, concerned in her voice, "Sir! I can handle this by myself!"

Akutagawa turns to her and backhands her; angry he said, "My orders were to take the weretiger alive, and yet, here you are, gunning everyone down! You useless mongrel, back off!"

Higuchi recoiled from the hit.

Chuuya was not pleased with Alutagawa's wording and treatment of Higuchi. Even if she messes up, she is still his subordinate, his responsibility. That headache he had been nursing had grown tenfold.

"Of course," Akutagawa responds as if this was obvious, "The objective of this mission had been you and you alone, weretiger. Your friends were just caught in the crossfire, an unfortunate consequence."

Atsushi stares at the bodies of the Tanizaki siblings, "All of this is my fault?"

It was bad enough it was his fault the first time, but now they had to re-experience the trauma. 'My fault, they only wanted him, they didn't need to involve the agency into this.'

"Indeed," Akutagawa agrees, "That is your karma, weretiger. You are bound to cause misfortune to those around you."

"Is that it, my bad luck infecting everyone?" Said quietly to himself.

"No, things happen the way they are supposed to. We are not gods, just humans only humans." Dazai said, trying to comfort his mentee.

Atsushi looks down, no doubt having another flashback to the orphanage.

"My karma.."

Akutagawa's eyes open a bit, "Ability: Rashomon."

The symbols for Rashomon form in black and red lettering and break apart, the red letters form around Akutagawa.

"Why does he look so cool? It doesn't make sense." said Haruno.

"Well, the show makes everyone look cool," said Dazai.

The black lightning zooms past Atsushi, missing him by an inch and creating a flaming crevice in the floor. Atsushi stares at it in utter terror.

"I missed on purpose that time," Akutagawa tells him, "But Rashomon has been getting hungry."

The red lightning has formed into a beast that floats above Akutagawa's head.

"I want to take you in alive, but if you resist."

Akutagawa's gray eyes glare coldly, "I will have it eat your leg next time."

"Why," Atsushi asks despairingly, "Why is this happening?"

'Is this my fault too? Do I make people around me suffer just by being alive?'

"A-Atsushi.."

Atsushi glances to see Tanizaki staring at him, "A-atsushi run. You got to run."

"Got to give points to the kids, they got balls, no one takes this type of job by accident." said Chuuya looking between the screen and the Tanizaki siblings lying on the ground. "Even if they're part-timers."

Atsushi can't move. His body shook, overwhelmed by the man before him.

'They are both still alive.' Atsushi thinks. realization in that moment, he made a choice to take on the monster known as Akutagawa. The young adult gets up and charges at Akutagawa. He screams as he does it; Rashomon arches towards Atsushi.

"A fool's errand, How tiresome," Akutagawa comments unconcerned.

"You got this Atsushi," said Haruno.

Everyone who could turn to the unlikely outburst.

"What, it would be nice to see a win." She looked at them and their pessimistic stares.

Many were inclined to agree.

Atsushi dodges Akutagawa's blow and slides under him, grabbing one of Higuchi's guns. He points it at Akutagawa's back and fires until the ammo runs out. Akutagawa doesn't even flinch. Rashomon roars and emerges from the back of his coat, the bullets falling to the floor.

"Oh, that's not good," said Kenji.

"I'll commend you on a noble effort, but in the end it was futile. I already informed you, My Rashomon's hunger knows no bounds."

Rashomon being held back by Akutagawa as it attempts to reach for Atsushi, ready to devour the weretiger.

"It devoured the very space your bullets crossed in order to reach me." Akutagawa turns his head to look at Atsushi, "It doesn't matter what kind of weapon you use. None can reach me now."

'How can anyone stand a chance against him?' Atsushi thought, not seeing how he could save his co-workers.

"Well, at least your aware of that, how futile your struggle truly is."

Atsushi chose not to engage the mad dog. The only sign of him noting it was the deep frown that sat on his face.

Akutagawa's eyes widened, "Unfortunately for you. I keep my promises."

In that instant, Rashomon roared directly at Atsushi, taking his leg at the same time.

In an instant, the pain radiating from his right leg. Atsushi cried out, it wasn't there he could feel his leg. It wasn't there anymore despite his hand clenching tightly to it.

"You have to breathe Atsushi," Dazai said, bringing him closer to him. Atsushi shook his head. He couldn't think. He couldn't breathe, it was just the pain.

As Atsushi lay on the ground, a pool of his blood increased. The boy screamed his lungs out. Akutagawa let out a cough covering it with his hand.

Atsushi's screams were drowned out by another flashback and he watched his younger self get beat up. The words from the previous episode were repeated again. 'That's right. I've been abandoned countless times in my life. I was never allowed to cry, no one ever accepted me, and I never had a place I could called home. And Yet even then…'

A loud thud broke through the memory. Atsushi's ability activated, and both Port Mafia members were stud to see his transformation.

He could feel it. His blood turned backwards. His body, twisting then suddenly the pain was gone. His vision blurred, Atsushi swayed back and forth. Normally, when he went full tiger the side effect was sleep. The facted he was concise was a blessing or maybe an ill-timed fate. All he knew was that the nauseous was not going away anytime soon.

The tiger was shown perched on a wall.

Many looked on in awed amazing at the transformation. As it no longer looked so violent. Weirdly, it looked pretty in all its destructiveness.

"Fascinating," Akutagawa observed, his voice raspy.

The tiger's eyes open and Atsushi's leg re-grows, Higuchi startling back, "His right leg just re-grew!"

Akutagawa only blinked.

The tiger's body formed fully and attacked them, Akutagawa's eyes dilated with excitement, "This is how it should be!"

As the tiger attacks, Akutagawa shoves Higuchi out of the way and dodges the tiger.

"Stand down, Higuchi."

He flips around, and Rashomon charges out which the tiger dodges, using Rashomon to run right at Akutagawa, who realizes what's happening a second too late, forming a net out of Rashomon, which just shoves him backward.

Akutagawa felt his body take-in the impact. He smirked at the soreness he felt running through him.

Higuchi watches in fear for Akutagawa and pulls out her guns, firing at the tiger. The tiger barely flinches at her bullets, instead turning its attention to her.

"Rashomon: Agito!" Akutagawa shouts as the jaws of Rashomon open, revealing him with red, glowing eyes inside. The Tiger is neatly sliced in half, falling to the floor as Akutagawa coughs harshly.

"So much for taking you alive," He remarks, looking at the tiger.

The familiar green of Tanizaki's ability flashes and the tiger disappears.

"What's this?" Akutagawa takes a step towards Tanizaki, "It appears I just ripped apart an illusion."

The tiger steps out from behind Akutagawa, who notices it instantly, turning around with a grin on his pale face, "Rashomon: Murakumo!" The two abilities charge at each other, Rashomon having been formed into an arm and the tiger roaring.

The symbols for "No Longer Human" appears just as they clash.

"Alright, that's enough," Dazai's voice says.

Everyone let out a collective sigh of relief.

"Finally, the episode is almost over," said Doctor Yosano. She turned to Atsushi look him over.

"Atsushi," Her voice filled with authority.

"Yeah," slightly out of it.

"You are getting a check up too." the ADA members grimace at the remake; they were not inves at all.

He appears between the two, both abilities disappearing. Akutagawa's eyes widened in fear and surprise.

Ranpo took in the expression. Adding it to his growing list of putting together Dazai's personality but he was not pleased with his conclusion.

Atsushi collapses at Dazai's feet. Higuchi stands up, "You are from the Agency. Why are you here?"

'Times up.' Dazai thought to himself as he cased his eyes to the floor.

Dazai gives her a winning smile, "I couldn't keep a lovely lady like you off my mind," He lifts a speaker up, "So, I decided to keep in touch."

"Of course, thats what you were doing." said Kunikida in awe.

"It can't be!" Higuchi rummages through her pockets as Akutagawa stands still beside her.

She pulls out a small device, "That means… When you were flirting… You had already seen through me before this even happened!"

Dazai squats on the floor, patting Atsushi's back, "C'mon Atsushi, rise and shine. I don't want to carry three people back at the same time."

Atsushi, at the moment was keeping one eye open through the nauseous. It became clear that his ability had activated at some point before all this had started. But it was blurry. He grabbed where the injury was located. The memory of the pain in his chest.

Higuchi pulls out a gun, "Do you really think we'll just let you go?"

She is interrupted by Akutagawa, however, as he laughs. "Let's leave them be. We'll return another time."

"Wait, that's it. You were ready to go for a round two against the weretiger, but now Dazai shows up, and you call it quits." Tanizaki said through his teeth.

"Yes." Akutagawa, had nothing to explain, even less so to ADA.

Confusion on her face, Higuchi lowers her gun, "But, Akutagawa… Why?"

Akutagawa glances at Dazai and sighs, "Oh well, We will retreat this time…"

He turns to Dazai with his whole body, "However, you can be sure that the Port Mafia will be back to claim our prize."

Dazai looks back at Akutagawa, "Why's that?"

"Isn't it obvious?" Akutagawa replies, boredom in his voice, "That weretiger has a large amount of money on his head on the black market. The bounty is about 7 billion yen."

"What? You're just telling your enemy all this." said Doctor Yosano

"He would have discovered it regardless," said Akutagawa.

"Who would want a weretiger anyway? Like seriously only we know about the healing ability right," said Haruno.

"A rat…" Dazai mumbled to himself.

"Huh…" Haruno questioned.

"Do you think if I gave myself over to the person who placed the bounty would you think it would go to me?" said Atsushi, looking over to his mentor. They both knew he didnt care about the money, he wanted it to be over. His mentor's eyes narrowed.

"That is the dumbest thing you have ever said. And No, you are a agency member we will not let you do something so idiotic." said Doctor Yosano as she watching the sibling.

"It was just a thought." Atsushi, disappointed by his answer, the weretiger closed his eyes again.

"Wow," Dazai beams, "That's so very generous of them!"

Akutagawa blinks, "We'll pay you a visit at a later date. Be assured that the Port Mafia will collect what's owed them."

"Oh really?" Dazai stands up, his voice getting an odd edge to it, "Is that a formal war declaration?"

"Huh…"

The audience that didn't know was surprised by the edge in his voice.

"Dazai, don't start arguments with the Port Mafia." Kunikida proclaimed.

His eyes held no emotion as his voice carried an edge, "Go ahead and try it if you really have the guts."

"Okay, I get it. He can pull it off but I still can't process the idea of a scary Dazai." Said Haruno.

"Scary isn't the word, more lik-." Tachihara's voice trailed off. 'More like soulless.' It was haunting to say the least.

Akutagawa took a small step backward, his eyes growing colder.

Higuchi interjects, "You think you can threaten us? You are a small scale operation with very few lackeys whereas we hold the keys to this city's operations at every level. An agency like yours can't even touch us." The scene zooms in on Higuchi. "If we wished so, we can wipe you all off the face of the earth!" A song started to play in the background.

"Beautiful speech Higuchi, however next time read the room." said Mori.

"My apologies, sir." Higuchi responded, despondent.

"Am I missing something?" said Tachihara.

The answer to Tachihara's question was yes, he was missing something, but he wasn't alone in that.

Dazai scratches the back of his head, his face completely calm; however, he sounded a little annoyed. "Yes, I'm quite aware of that."

"Indeed," Akutagawa agrees, "I'd would expect you would, considering your previous history." Dazai smirks.

"After all you were a Port Mafia member, weren't you, Dazai."

Dazai smiles at the two mafia members.

The scene cut.

Atsushi was shown holding a book as the pages started to fly away.

I was searching for the reason

As the pages fly further away, two other individuals appeared. The two were Dazai and Akutagawa.

To be myself

It cuts to him laying down next to Dazai as Atsushi turns to him, looking for something. His hand is shown, he extends his pinkie towards Dazai's hand.

If I am living

"Huh, there's an ending song." said Ranpo, finishing off his snack. Ranpo figured he might not get a solid meal tonight but he wasn't one to eat slowly. Not with everything being sent Dazai's way.

The screen froze, there not moving from Atsushi, looking out a window to the full moon.

Dazai couldn't avoid it now. If looks could kill, he would be in hell right now. The gallery focus was on him. He could feel so many mixed emotions. Some of betrayal, confusion, pity, understanding, anger but there was one set of eyes missing. One had fainted from the reveal. Slowly, Dazai looked over at Atsushi.

The boy sat rigid eyes locked on the screen but not really taking it in. Then he turned not to Dazai but to Akutagawa. Who met his gaze with his own inner conflict. Atsushi wobbled a little as he got out of his chair. 'How could he miss it.'

"You're scared of him." he said, looking at his enemy within a different light.

Akutagawa stared him down.

"What is it you want to hear, weretiger." Raising from his seat.

"It's done, we need to move them to the infirmary." Mori turned to Yosano.

On the floor, he sat with Higuchi. Mori, for his part, was enjoying the show; however, his main focus was on taking care of those that were injured in this episode. So he pushed down his amusement at least he would get to work with his older apprentice.

"Yes, I agree." Helping Higuchi up from her spot.

"You can take my sister but I need to hear this…" Said Tanizaki leaning on the chair behind him.

"Big Brother?" Naomi said, mustering all her energy into a disapproving glare.

"I will be there in a moment but I can't let this go." He softed look at how out of it she was.

"Chuuya, do you mind." Mori's pleasant commanded.

"No, sir. I don't." He walked over to the two and touched the younger sibling. Her body started to float. Then he touched the older one. "What the hell, man. Put me down!" Tanizaki yelled as he floated above the ground.

"You are in need of treatment. I am sure the dream team will fill you in later." Chuuya stated, there was no fight to give in the matter. The old Tanizaki could still feel the pain radiating from his injury. "When you're better." The mafioso finished.

Doctor Yosano walked with Chuuya and opened the theater door. Doctor Mori helped Higuchi up and assisted her out of the theater. The door closed and there was a pause as slowly the attention turned back to the man of the hour.

The apprentices stared one another down.

"So you hate me." Atsushi refirmed.

"I Despise you."

"Because of Dazai."

"It's more than just Dazai.'

"But it starts there, right?"

"..Yes." He grinds his teeth as he says it.

Atsushi turned to him. "We don't know anything about him other than his name. That's what you said."

"Ats-" Dazai cut himself off. Noted the far-off look in the boy's eyes.

"I-I…" Atsushi looked at the door. He didn't want to yell at him. He could feel jumbled-up emotions and anger through all the things he could say. He didn't want to feel this terrible emotion. Dazai was important to him. His chest began to hurt again. Atsushi grabbed at it.

Dazai stood up, seeing his apprentice in distress caused by him. The brunette went out to touch him, only for him to flinch away from the other.

"I need to go…" Atsushi stumbled to the door. No one stopped him; non of them who reminded could move. The door closed with a loud thud.

Dazai locked eyes with his former apprentice in anger, but he knew it wasn't his fault. This was his own mess, and he didn't know how to clean it up.
