Chapter 2 good people! I originally thought of taking this slowly, but seeing how this sin't my main story I dodn't think I had to go so hard establishing their early life. There are things I want to write and I'll get around to it, but right now here's a chapter focusiing how strong they are and how people don't know. I'm going to establish the relationship with Kurama more in the next chapter and then we'll get into the chapter 1 stuff, but for now, enjoy!

What you see isn't what you get

Three years at the Ninja Academy and the twins' skills were coming along well. Thanks to Kurama's guidance they already knew all the material, school truly wasn't a place for smart people. It was clear their teachers had no intention of being proper teachers to them, as they just ignonored them for the most part. Most of them just shot them the same nasty look the rest of the village did, they didn't care though. After school they spent their afternoons training and hanging out in Kurama. During this time they learned their status as jinchuriki was the worst kept secret ever. Though it was forbidden to talk about it, the villagers just couldn't help the sly comments, calling them the demon twins, or those nine tails kids when they thought they couldn't hear.

Most of their classmates would ignore them, not speaking to them at the behest of their didn't care, they had Kurama and they had each other so their ignorant opinions didn't matter. They both had a naturally mischievous streak, this led to them pulling pranks on the village. While most saw this as a nuisance, it fueld their animosity towards them because they couldn't do anything about it. Their plan of deception was going off without a hitch, no one suspected they were much much more skilled than they let on. Their grades were average to below average to failing, with Naruto being at the bottom in ninjutsu and Naruko in taijutsu.

Kurama's been a brutal but encouraging teacher. Every day he pushed the twins past their limits, showing them methods of training neither of them could have come up with. Thanks to the number of shadow clones they used, their training and knowledge was sped up exponentially. They each learned tree walking and water walking all while being able to learn a second chakra nature, Naruto learned water and Naruko learned wind. Their taijutsu was honed to a fine precision, Kurama's style emphesized aggression, coupled with technique, speed, power, agility and adaptability. The twins took to it like a fish to water with them sparring almost daily, with them being fairly even. They recently began wearing gravity seals as part of their training, starting at 10x gravity. According to Kurama this would be their new normal, and they would increase the weight as time went on.

They studied constantly, engrossing themselves in every subject that was beneficial to them being not only strong, but smart and effective shinobi. Naruko was the more studious of the two in that regard, but Naruto could keep up. Mathematics, sciences, ninja tactics and battle stragies, the two deeply studied ll that they could find at the library. Thanks to their shadow clones they were reading advanced material after just three months, they picked up speed reading and total recall in this time. They had long since learned everything in the academy's curriculum, after learning chunin knowledge they quickly moved on to jonin studies,

They were natural sensor types and added this to their training, Kurama taught them how to apply it. Their max radius at the moment was 3 kilometers, but they were working to increase that range, and pinpoint specific chakra signatures. Kurama told them that the best sensors can not only tell a specific person's chakra in a large group, but also their strength and clan lineage. The only problem with this is that no matter how much they trained, they couldn't apply it in combat. It didn't give them eyes without using their eyes, they had to use them for fighting. And constantly kneading chakra in the middle of a fight, to focus on following the flow of an opponent's chakra to perceive their moves was improbable. Still, they remained steadfast in mastering this skill, especially after being told Minato was a phenominal sensor.

They put a lot of effort into the fuinjutsu training, were highly advanced and would be masters in a couple of years. One of their favorite hobbies has become to study and invent different kinds of seals. They had invented one between the two of them and placed them on their own bodies, a Poison Seal and Chakra Cuff Seal. Naruko inventing the former and Naruto inventing the latter, the clones they made to study the subject everyday really paid off. They were sure there wasn't a person in the village who knew more about the subject than them. Naruko's Poison Seal granted immunity to poison and other toxins, she was sure it worked on alcohol too but needed a few years before she could test it out.

The motivation for this came when during the last festival, a vendor gave her a candy apple that was laced with poison. She survived but it changed her relationship with food forever. Now she doesn't eat anything that wasn't packaged, made or prepared in front of her. She would never let herself be poisoned again, this being the first time it happened since they had their cook. Naruto's Chakra Cuff Seal acted as extreme chakra control training, as well as a method of increasing the bearer's chakra reserves. The seal was like strapping weights to the bearer's chakra, this made it difficult to build up chakra, and forced the bearer to exert themselves more than usual to gather the chakra to perform jutsu. The longer the cuffs stay on, and the more the bear aclimates to this handicap, the better the chakra control becomes and their reserves increase drastically when the seal is released.

Naruto invented this seal as a way of becoming a powerful ninja as soon as possible. He and his sister spoke in depth with Kurama about releasing the seal, but he assured them it was too soon. While he wanted the seal removed, he was honest about the fact that as they were now, his chakra could still overwhelm and kill them. Even if he didn't want to, he had to stay caged up for now. They could try it in a few years when they were older, their chakra was so strong it typically suppressed his, as per the seal function. If they wanted to merge theirs, they needed to increase their own chakra, and be overall stronger. So Naruto got to work, and this is what he came up with, much to his sister and Kurama's praise.

When they weren't training they were just hanging out. While he was on the outside Kurama liked to take things slow and relax. The twins were pretty hyper but he tolerated that. They were the first kid's he's hung out with in nearly a century, before the sealing. He's told several stories about his life before being sealed, Naruko in particular was always eager to hear his stories. He even told them a few stories about Kushina and Minato, they appreciated it as it was more than the 3rd Hokage was willing to say. Kurama in his human form blended in perfectly when they were in public together, concealing his chakra completely and making its signiture invisible. No one suspected the nine tails would casually walk around the village from time to time. Though it was something he chose not to do too often, as people would speculate about the red haired man hanging out with the demon twins.

Training Ground 3

A wind passed over the field as Kurama stood calmly, eyes closed with his arms crossed. To his left and right were the twins, poised to attack. The transformed fox opened his eyes with a serious expression, "Come at me!" The blondes came at him at their top speed, Naruko reached him fist, jumping and initiating a left spin kick to his head. Naruto rushes and launches an assault to his waist with a right punch. With flawless skill, Kurama shifts his body to dodge Naruko's kick and extends a hand, deflecting Naruto's attack and launching a backfist to his face. Naruto barely dodges and drops into a spin kick, Kurama merely hops to avoid the strike, spinning and kicking the still airborne Naruko. The girl goes flying but uses her hands to catch her fall, correcting herself and flipping away. In that same motion Kurama lands and drops to kick Naruto, the boy bursts into a plume of smoke when his foot connects, his leg tearing through a stump of wood.

Kurama feels a rumble beneath him and dips his head back just as Naruto bursts out of the ground to uppercut him. Kurama's red eyes locked on to Naruto's blue, the kid had a sly grin before he jumped back in realization. A second later Naruto exploded in a powerful blast of chakra, "He's gotten better at the Shadow Clone Jutsu than I thought. To have a clone tunnel underground and have it try to strike me following a substitution. He wasn't trying to avoid my kick, he was getting himself out of the blast radius. Very good." His thoughts ended when Naruko pounced on him like a stone cold predator her blue eyes were serious as she unleashed a taijutsu flurry on him. Kurama had to take her seriously as he blocked and countered all her strikes, he gets around her guard and landed a brutal palm strike to her right cheek, sending her into the air.

Naruko quickly forms the hand signs and corrects herself, "Wind Style: Wind Scythe Jutsu!" She called as she swung her left arm, firing a large blade of wind. Kurama stepped back to dodge the blade that left a deep, wide slash in the earth where he previously stood. Naruko eyed him down, clearly not finished. She tapped the scroll on her left wrist and summoned a Fuma Shuriken, channeling. lighting chakra into it and tossing it at Kurama. Her hands quickly moved to perform another jutsu, "Shuriken Shadow Clone Jutsu!" She called out as the shuriken duplicated into fifty, all lighting enhanced. Naruko gripped the ninja wire attached to the shuriken, a sly smile on her face as she brought them down on the fox, Kurama dashed back to dodge the deadly attack. As he was dodging he sensed a presence behind him, glancing back to see it was about Naruto, weaving hand signs, "Water Style: Water Dragon Bullet!" Water rises from the pond next to him and a large dragon made of water launches at Kurama.

Kurama stopped dodging and stood firm, The shuriken landed around him, cornering him with lightning still cackling across them. "So that was their plan. Very clever." The water dragon converged on him, the lightning of the shuriken acting as a conducter and increasing its power. In a flash he appears on a tree branch, unharmed. A smile spread across his lips, "I don't have anything bad to say about that attack, Kits."

The twins regouped, both of them having looks of annoyed irritation at his smile, "Damn, I thought that could pin him down." Naruto complained.

"Your speed is a pain in the ass, Kurama!" Naruko exclaimed, tapping on the scroll on her left arm and summoning a katana.

"I've been honing my skills for centuries, it's gonna take a lot more than that if you want to hit me."

Both of them grit their teeth at these words. In the three years they've been training together neither Naruto nor Naruko have been able to land an honest blow on Kurama once. His speed and strength were too great, his jutsu set up was so fast they couldn't even see him form hand signs most of the time. And the worst of it is that as their teacher he understood and could adapt to them faster than anyone. Kurama had a plethora of knowledge, on top of that he had so many skills and jutsu, it honestly made them wonder how he could lose to anyone. He quickly made a series of hand signs, finishing it with a horse seal. "You two are coming along nicely, but you could definitely be better." Nine balls of blue fire appeared behind him, "Fox Fire Jutsu." He called out as the fireballs morphed into little foxes and rushed at the twins.

Naruto got in his stance, "Here we go!"

Naruko took a stance for Battojutsu, "I hate those things." She stated before the two rushed at the pack of fire foxes.

The twins laid on their back, both of them breathing heavily after the day of training. They had expended so much chakra and physical effort between them that it was only natural they were on the verge of passing out. Naruko still gripped her sword, wanting to keep going, but though her will was strong, her body wouldn't move. Naruto was in the same boat, the pain coursing through him was indescribable, it didn't help he was also very low on chakra. "Man, we still can't hit you. Screw trying to beat you." Naruto groaned.

Kurama approached the two, "Hey, I've been at this a lot longer than you two." He sat down next to the exhausted blondes, "Though I've got to admit, those were some good moves you both pulled. I doubt your average jonin could have done better."

"You don't have to patronize us, Kurama." Naruko said through rough breaths.

"Little girl, do you really think I'd waste my time with that nonsense? I mean it, you two have gotten very strong in the past three years, you're just not at Kage level yet."

Naruko forced herself to sit up, "Well then, how do we reach that level?"

"Keep doing what you're doing, Naruko. Trust me, you're on the right path."

Naruto rolled over, looking at Kurama, "Hey Kurama, how did you get sealed in the first place? You're so strong, I can't believe anyone could beat you."

Kurama's red eyes narrowed a bit at the memory of the only fights he has ever lost, "Know this Naruto, I've only been defeated twice in my life, and by only two shinobi. Madara Uchiha, and Hashiram Senju. Neither of them were stronger than me, but had specific abilities that gave them an edge on me. If it wans't for that I could have killed both of them without a second thought."

Naruto looked at him as he registered his words, "You really hate the first hokage don't you?"

"Plus the entire Uchiha clan. My only regret is that I couldn't have taken them out myself."

Naruko shot, registering his tone, "You're serious, arent you?"

"Being controlled by the sharingan is a sickening sensation I hope you two are never on the receiving end of."

Naruko giggled slightly, "If you feel that strongly about it, how do you feel about Sasuke?"

"I think you should kill him. It's slightly different, but his chakra is iriely similar to Madara. Maybe not now, but that boy will become a threat."

"I normally never doubt your wisdom, Kurama, but we're not going to kill Sasuke." Naruto replied honestly.

The fox turned hisnheadm "I wasn't expecting you to, I was just saying that you should. Trust me, the sharigan being gone from the world is a blessing for everyone."

"Well your hatred runs deeper than I thought, Kurama.' Natuko commented.

"After everything I"ve been through, I believe I"ve earned that right." He said as he laid back next to them, the three looked up at the cloud, decompressing after training. They rested in peace for a moment, "I meant what I saw before, you both have improved considerably. If I had to guess, you're both at low to mid Jonin level."

The twins smiled at these words. Naruto layed back on his hands while Naruko brought her hands to her stomach, "Just three more years. Three more years and we'll be bad ass ninja." She said confidently.

Naruto smiled just as brightly as his sister, "I can't wait for that. We'll show the village what's what!"

Ninja Academy Next Day

"Alright, copy those down and we'll review them." Iruku said as he finished tihgitng a series of equations on the chalkboard." He watched as the class did as instructed, though two in particular werent. He shot a look to the upper left corner of the room and saw Naruto sleeping. Naruko on the other hand was writing with a smile on her face, given the colored pencil she was using it was clear she wasn't writing down the equations. These two had been a constant problem since he became their teacher, they didn't focus, or study, and their grades were at the bottom of the class. But something about that threw him off, when he reviewed their test scores, they would get most questions wrong or all of them wrong. It would alternate between the two, sometimes Naruto would do better, other times Naruko would do better, with both of them barely passing or outright failing. And during ninja training their movements appeared sluggish, as if they weren't trying hard or trying too hard. Again this would alternate between them.

Naruko's taijutsu was terrible, even by konoichi standards. While Naruto's ninjutsu was just a joke, both of them couldn't throw a kunai or shuriken straight. In spite of that they were still the loudest of his students, their pranks kept the class entertained, often distracting from the lesson. He did his best to ignore them as much as he could, but whenever he looked at them he couldn't help but see the nine-tails within them. He was told not to make a fuss about them every time they act up, he figured they'd have just gone away by now, but they came back everyday. It felt like a complete waste of time teaching them, and a waste of two spots in the academy. The only reason they were here is because of the 3rd Hokage, he was adamant they be allowed to attend the academy. This was his first crop of students, he wanted to be a good teacher, but these two were just so problematic.

"Naruko!" His words made the blonde girl raise her eyes from her drawing, "Since you're more interested in drawing than solving these problems, would you like to show your work to the rest of the class?"

She was wearing a white t-shirt under a light blue pinafore dress with black legging shorts and black ninja sandles. Her eyes went back to her paper, "Sure, just give me a minute, Sensei." She continued stroking with her yellow pencil. She happily held it up, "And it's done!" She looked to her classmate as all eyes landed on her. She showed her paper, revealing white tiger with green markings and yellow armor on its shoulder blades and tail "Check it out stooges! A white tiger with armor and lightning powers. I call him Driger." She said with a smile.

Iruka ascended the stairs to where they sat, the drawing wasn't half bad actually, but this still irked Iruka. "Instead of drawing tigers, work on your assignment!" He glanced at her brother, he wanted to bonk him to wake him up but hesitated. Naruto was wearing a black t-shirt under a orange vest with forest green pants and black ninja sandles. He merely bent down to the boy's right ear, "Naruto get up now!" He yelled, causing the boy to hilariously leap out of his seat, he comically whirled in shock before landing stupidly on his back, much to the class's amusement.

Naruto groggily picked himself up, "What did you do that for, Sensei? Where's the fire?"

Iruku sternly pointed at the board, "The fire's right there! Write those down and get to work!"

Naruto took a glance at the questions on the board. A quick scan allowed him to do these simple equations in his head, "12, 43, 28, 9." He said, answering wrong on purpose.

"What?" Iruka asked with a raised brow.

"Those are the answers to the problems."

"Wrong." Naruko perked up with an air of confidence. "The answers are actually, "14, 40, 27 and 7." Her tone showed pure confidence, even though she only answered one of those right on purpose.

Iruka looked back at the board, the class went quiet as they waited for his response. "Naruto, all of your answers were wrong. Naruko, only one of yours was right." The class burst into laughter after these words were uttered.

"They were so confident too!"

"Everyone says blondes are stupid, but they're a special kind of stupid!"

"Stick to pulling dumb pranks, don't try to sound smart!"

The whole class laughed at their ineptitude, which is excatly what they wanted. "This is why you actually pay attention in class! Now get to it!" Iruka exclaimed before going back down the stairs. Before he reached the bottom of the stairs Sakura raised her hand, "Sensei?"

"Yes, Sakura?"

"The answers are 14, 45, 23 and 8." She said with confidence.

"Correct on all marks. Good job, Sakura." He praised warmly.

Sakura shot a joyful glance at Sasuke, hoping he would be impressed. But he just sat there not acknowledging her and just doing his own work. She shot a prideful look at the twins, "Next time, actually try not being dumb before trying to look smart." She said arrogantly.

Naruko narrowed her eyes at her, "And next time, try not having such a big head before sounding like a know-it all bitch."

"Naruko!" Iruka exclaimed.

"What?" The girl said with a shrug.

"Language. I won't tolerate that kind of speech in this classroom."

She closed her eyes as she played with her left pigtail, "Well it felt appropriate to me."

"And I'm telling you it isn't here."

"Okay, I'll think of a different insult." She thought for a moment as she brought a finger to her chin, "Someone who's hair is as pink as a baboon's butthole really shouldn't talk so big!"

The class erupted into laughter again, Sakura blushed greatly from embarrassment, even Sasuke cracked a smile which made her heart sink. "Don't dish it if you can't take it." She sat down to write the equations, "Little bitch." She said in a low whisper.

Iruka just sighed, this was the usual course per usual. Someone would insult her or Naruto, her brother would ignore it, but she would lash out with brutal yet creative insults to shut them up. It never failed, it both impressed and disturbed him.

It was time for Ninja training, it always started with ninjutsu training. The class was gathered in a circle around Iruka, Alright class, today we'll be working on the clone jutsu." Most of the class groaned at this, "First up; Sasuke Uchiha."

Sasuke stepped into the middle of the circle, an air of superiority about him. As he readied himself his fangirls, which was most of the class, cheered for him. Naruko and Hinata Hyuuga were the only ones who didn't worship the ground he walked on, though it was clear he didn't care about the female attention. "Clone Jutsu is easier than childs-play."

"This little Emo is so full of himself." Naruko thought. Her brother decided to make an unnecessary scene.

"Ahhhh! Why do you always have to act so smug all the time? It's so annoying!"

Sasuke just looked at him unimpressed, "Just shut up, you loser."

Sakura and Ino's eyes went white at Naruto's antics, "Leave Sasuke alone, you'll break his concentration!" Sakura exclaimed.

"Yeah, you're just in the way, loser!" Ino added.

Naruto pretended to deadpan, "You dumb bitches do nothing but annoy me." Naruko audibly stated.

"What did you call me!" Ino bellowed.

"Hard of hearing? I said what I said you dumb bitch. Try me and make something of it, I'll personally buy the flowers for your grave from your family's shop." Ino angrily stepped towards her, ready to jack up the other blonde when Iruka got inbetween them.

"Enough you two! Naruko, that's the last time I'm going to warn you about your language!"

"Why is it always me?" She asked innocently with a pout.

A purple haired girl named Omi merely crossed her arms, eying the pigtailed blonde, "You shouldn't waste your time, Iruka-Sensei. It's pointless trying to correct a bad egg with no parents." Her brown eyes locked onto Naruko who was completely unfazed by that statement. The mention of no parents had been an easy angel for anyone who dared pick on them, but Naruko had dirt of her own.

"You're right, Omi. I don't have parents. But if my mom was alive, I'm sure she wouldn't walk the streets alone at night in slutty outfits." She looked at Iruka, "Sensei, that's called a prostitute, right?" These words shocked Omi, making her grit her teeth with anger.

Iruka was hesitant to answer, he actually had a go with Omi's mom to make sure she got a passing grade last term. "I wouldn't know. Also, you shouldn't talk about such things." He looked to Sasuke, who was waiting for the que to go, "Sasuke, demonstrate the jutsu please."

The Uchiha did as he was told and performed the jutsu, as he did this the real him leaped into a nearby tree. The only one's who saw this were Iruka and the twins. The two Sasuke's stood calmly before the class, "Wow Sasuke it's a perfect clone jutsu, I can't tell which one's real and which one's fake!" Sakura giddily cheered.

Naruto stepped up with a confident smile, "Oh please, it's totally obvious to me." This one!" He jumped to kick one of the clones that burst into smoke on contact.

The other clone shifted to the side, "Wrong as usual."

Naruto faigned confusion, "Wait; what!"

"Block-head! That's the real Sasuke!" Sakura exclaimed.

"Yeah, get away from him!" Ino added.

"Lay him out bro!" Naruko cheered with a raised fist.

Naruto attacked the other clone and fell on his back after it dissipated. "Guess you picked wrong again." A confident Sasuke said as he dropped from the tree they knew he was hiding it.

Sakura swooned at his skill, "Oh Sasuke~!"

Iruka was impressed, "That's amazing, two clones at once. While the real Sasuke moved away unseen."

"Ha, so what! I can do clone jutsu too, y'know!" Naruto boosted. He slowly made the handsigns, "Watch this, Clone Jutsu!" There was a burst of smoke that revealed a pathetic, raggidy clone.

The entire class burst into laughter at the blonde's failure, and after all his bosting. This started the usual schtick of Sasuke calling him a loser and Naruko yelling at him. Shino commented that both of them were wasting the lesson, everyones time and becoming an annoyance. It was a sentiment several other kids agreed with, Iruka stepped in before she could tear at the other students. Iruka with a familiar cold look and a stern voice told the class to just ignore them, they pretended to be shocked by this. The class moved onto the rest of their lesson, leaving the twins alone, mocking and laughing at them as they did so. The two stood in silence for a moment, waiting for them to get out of ear shot. "Let's go, Sis." Naruto said in a sad tone.

"Alright." Naruko followed behind him, jumping the fence and leavin the academy. She turned to the edge of the building. Sensing the old man hiding around the corner, "Think the old man will talk to Iruka-Sensei?" She asked in their shared mental space.

"Who cares . But you gotta admit the show gets better every week."

"Hm, I've known professional actors who are less convincing than you two." Kurama commented.

"Hey Kurama! You've been knocked out most of the day, what do you wanna do later?"

"There's a jutsu I want to teach you both. Head to the Back Hills, no one should interrupt our training."

"Got it!" She grabbed her brother's hand and pulled him along, "Let's go, Naru-chan!"

"Yeah yeah, I'm right behind you. Don't pull me, Sis!"

"You heard Kurama we gotta go!" She happily exclaimed as she kept going. It didn't take long for them to reach a business street, Naruko's smile shined as she pulled her brother along, eager to get to their destination.

Naruto's eyes scanned the shops they passed along the way, his eyes lit up for a moment when something interesting caught his eye. "Ruko wait!" His sister stopped jerking him along and listened to him.

"Yeah, what's up?"

Her brother merely pointed, "Check that out." He pointed to a set of masks in a shop, they both turned to each other with the mischievous smile they both shared.

"Cool! Good eyes, Bro." The two calmly approached the shop. As they did this they caught the eye of several villagers.

A pair of women were speaking in the shop across the street, "Are those the kids we're not allowed to talk about?"

"Which ones?" Her friend looked where she was looking, "Oh yeah, that's them."

"Why do they even let those kids stay in the village anyway?" A man asked.

"You would think Lord Hokage would have more consideration for us." A woman added.

"I still can't believe they let them in the academy." Another woman commented.

"To think they'd actually let them be ninja. There are so many things wrong with that." Another man commented.

"Look at them, they're so unpleasent." A woman added.

The blonde twins looked at the masks, all of them looked cool but there was a fox mask that caught both of their eyes. Just then the shopkeeper came out and saw them, his mood instantly soured at seeing them. "Hey, you little brats?!" They both turned to him just in time to be violently pushed to the ground and out of the shop. The older man just looked down at them coldly, completely unremorsful.

The twins took that on purpose, but it still wasn't fun to get your clothes dirty. "Hey, what's the big idea, Buddy!" Naruto angrily exclaimed.

"You better have a good reason for getting my pinafore dirty. This was my first day wearing it!" Naruko yelled, trying to release any killing intent.

"I don't want you here, you're nothing but a pair of pests!" A crowd began to form as he demeaned them.

"But we weren't even doing anything!"

"Yeah, we were just looking at your stupid masks! Put your hands on me or my brother again and see what happens" Naruko loudly threatened. She shot a glare at some people in the forming crowd, making them back off wth fear.

The shopkeeper grabbed the fox mask off the rack and threw it at Naruto, "Here is this what you want!" He was expecting it to hit him in his face, but the boy caught it. "Now take it and get lost, and don't come back!" Naruko shot him an angry glare, she shopkeeper felt his head be severed from his shoulders. His vision stayed as his head rose up before hitting the ground with a heavy thud. The blue dress of the girl was the last thing he saw before his eyes closed. Back in reality, to everyone's shock the keeper suddenly fell over, his expression seemingly lifeless.

Murmurs began as everyone present watched the scene with shock and fear, "Well that was weird." Naruto commented.

"I think that guy got so mad at us he died!" Naruko jokingly. They both stood up, the crowd backing away fearfully.

"Meh, probably wouldn't have happened to a nicer guy." Naruto looked at the people, fear mixed with shock clear in all of their expressions, "Hey, somebody make sure this guy's alive. We have places to be. Come on, Sis."

Naruko took the mask from her brother, "Right behind you." She put the mask on, "I say we call this Operation: Phantom Fox."

"I like that." He spoke into their mental space, "By the way that faint is scary. What did you do?"

"I cut off his head. It's not my fault his brain throught it was real. I think I did pretty good for my first time using it."

"Again, scary. It's crazy a faint could do that, I think I'd rather deal with a genjutsu."

"That's the best part about this technique, Naruto. They'll have no idea what happened to him, he's slipped into a coma and think it's a genjutsu. Manipulating the brain with mere movements is an underrated and clearly forgotten skill. You don't always need chakra to achieve such results."

"Where did you learn this, Kurama?"

"From a swordsman friend of mine about 400 years back."

"It's crazy how far back you can remember!" Naruko exclaimed.

"When you've lived as long as I have, eventually everything becomes a memory. Speaking of memory, the technique I want to teach you both was actually invented by the swordsman I just mentioned. He inveneded it as a way of defeating ninja and demons."

Naruto thoughtfully raised a brow, "Are we talking literal demons, or metaphorical?"

"Obviously literal." The fox answered.

"Wait, there are demons in the world?" Naruko asked with pure interest.

"There used to be. That friend and I killed the progenitor of demons at the same time 400 years ago.

Naruko had a fiery smile, "Now I'm really excited."

That wraps up chapter 2! The twins are strong, very strong. I know I did a lot of telling and not showng in this chapter, forgive me fore that because I didn't want to draw out their training too much, because honestly that's like 3-4 chapters of material. And there's still more training for them to do. CCome back next time as the twins gettng stronger, getting closer to being the powerful shinobu the world doesn't have a choice but to respect.
