It was a normal day at the hotel, and the Doctor was making repairs in the TARDIS, inside his room and away from the other residents.

Sure, they were interesting and nice, but the Time Lord wanted a day for himself.

And especially wanted to investigate why Extermination Day was anticipated. So, he decided to go back in time, just before he crashed into the Hotel, to see what could possibly be the reason.

He confidently fixed his bowtie and pulled down the lever, and the TARDIS dematerialised, making a wheezing, groaning noise.

The noise caught the attention of the other residents.

"What was that?" said Vaggie.

"It's coming from the Doctor's room," said Charlie.

The two went to check, but nobody was there.

"Doc...Tor?" Charlie looked around. "He isn't here."

"Maybe we imagined it," said Vaggie. "Should I go look for him?"

"No, he probably just went for a walk, he barely leaves the hotel, after all." said Charlie, "He'll be fine."

Months earlier, the TARDIS materialised in Pentagram City.

The Doctor emerged from the box, not before putting a modified Perception Filter on himself and the TARDIS, so that they wouldn't attract unwanted attention.

"Pentagram City, it should be three months in the past, right before I arrived in Hell." the Doctor thought. "It should be Extermination Day, according to what Charlie told me."

As he walked through the city's promenade, a golden portal appeared in the sky, with the demonic-looking creature descending from the sky and beginning to massacre any Sinner they could spot.

Saying it was a...A horrifying sight would be an understatement. With people running away and screaming in pain as they get slaughtered by those Angels...Sure, they had sinned, therefore they're not the best Humanity had to offer but...Do they really deserve to meet such gruesome fates?

"And those people with black wings are Angels? By looking at this travesty, they seem more like winged Daleks than anything...Who could possibly allow something like this?" the Doctor thought, disgusted. "I can't save anyone here, unfortunately, I have to focus on my task and stay as far as possible from the Hotel."

The Doctor went away from the TARDIS and the centre of the chaos.

...But just after he made two steps, an Exorcist spotted him and blocked his way.

"Oh, hello!" said the Doctor, "An Angel Exorcist, I presume?"

"...You don't look like a Sinner." said the Exorcist, pointing her spear at the Time Lord. "What are you?"

"Oh, well, it's a long story and despite being its Lord, I don't have much time to spend. I'm the Doctor, by the way, what's yours?"

"Why should I tell you?" the Exorcist raised an eyebrow.

"Out of good manners? I hope you guys upstairs are not as rude as the people here. After all, you think you're far better than these filthy sinners, don't you?" said the Doctor.

"I am. These demons are the filth of Humanity, and this serves as their punishment for their sins!" said the Exorcist.

The Doctor looked at the Exorcist as if she was dirt under his boots. "I see, thanks for the insightful conversation, Ms Dalek, now-LOOK, A DISTRACTION!"

The Exorcist turned around, and the moment she turned back, the Doctor had vanished.

"What the-?!" She flew to look around for the Doctor, "He disappeared..."

The Doctor kept jumping from roof to roof, dodging the Exorcists as a way to have a better view of the city.

Luckily, those winged Daleks were too busy slaughtering defenceless Sinners than paying attention to a Time Lord jumping between roofs.

But, something that broke his hearts, was that he couldn't manage to save anyone from the massacre.

Until he saw a trio of female sinners running away and decided to follow them from a distance.

He recognised two of those demons, they were the girls who delivered Sir Pentious his weapons at the Hotel but couldn't figure out who the third demon might be.

Like the many he met, she was tall and slender, probably around 3 metres tall, and with light-grey skin. She had white ankle-length hair with bangs and black streaks, usually formed in the shape of large horns by black thin ribbons. A peculiar trait of her, other than her rather large hands, were her metallic ballet slippers, and the fact that she was running on the tip of her toes.

The trio was surrounded by a group of Exorcists.

The grey-skinned demon stood in between the Angels and the other two demons.

"You run, I'll deal with them." She said,

"But Mother-"

"I said GO!" She repeated.

"3 vs 1, she won't survive this." the Doctor thought, looking at the scene. He glanced at his sonic screwdriver. "...Unless I do something about it. I'll make sure those two girls won't become orphans."

The woman wasn't intimidated by the Exorcists, despite currently facing Death itself and was ready to protect her daughters, Whatever It Takes.

One of the Exorcists began flying towards her, going for the impaling, but in that instant...

*BRRZZZZZZH!*

The Exorcist got distracted, giving the demon a lot of time to react, and took the opportunity.

She used the Exorcist to jump higher, she went for the strike and...Beheaded the Angel, with her ballet shoes.

The Exorcists were horrified.

"What the-?!" Said one of them.

"Did she-Did she beheaded her?!"

"Let's run away!"

The Exorcists escaped, the Doctor was too incredulous of the scene, and so was the demon.

"They...Can kill them? Why don't the Sinners fight back, then?" the Doctor thought, "She doesn't seem to be aware she could do that, either..."

The demon looked around, looking for the person that distracted the Exorcist. She managed to catch a glimpse of the Time Lord, who was hiding on the roof but ignored him.

After she went away, the Doctor approached the corpse.

"So, is this why they want to anticipate it?" He thought. "I suppose they think the Sinners might rebel."

Satisfied with the investigations, the Doctor returned to the TARDIS, still jumping from roof to roof.

He went inside...And realised that it was his fault if the Extermination was anticipated. If he hadn't intervened, the demon wouldn't have killed the Exorcist, and Charlie would had a lot of time to show that Redemption was possible.

He facepalmed. "Curse me and my mercy..." He mumbled as he pulled down the lever and the TARDIS dematerialised.

Later, after the Extermination ended and the Exorcists returned to Heaven. One of them made their report to her superiors.
One of them was a tall slender woman, with cedar-brown skin, white freckles, a white streak going down her nose, and hip-length curled hair coloured in a silver-like ombre. She had white eyes with a blue sclera and was wearing a queen-like gown, her halo resembles a majestic crown and had six wings instead of two.

The other one, much shorter than the female angel, was a man wearing a mask similar to the Exorcist one, albeit black and gold and more expressive. He was wearing a white-and-gold robe and had a pair of golden wings.

These two angels were respectively Sera, the High Seraphim of Heaven, and Adam, the First Human and leader of the Exorcists.

"So you're saying that you saw a human down in Hell, who wasn't a Sinner, Private?" Sera asked, with a calm voice.

"Yes, ma'am. He didn't look like one." Said the Exorcist.

"Bah. He was a Sinner like any other." Said Adam, "He probably did some magic bullshit to hide his appearance."

"He might have done that," Sera commented, looking outside the window. "What was his name?"

"He didn't tell me. He said that he was the Doctor, ma'am." Said the Exorcist.

While Adam was unimpressed, Sera flinched.

The Seraph turned to the Exorcist. "Did you say...The Doctor?" Her tone became more anxious.

"Huh, yes, that's what I said." Said the Exorcist.

Sera regained composure. "Very well, you're dismissed, Private."

The Exorcist saluted the two and left the room.

"You okay, Sera? You got scared shitless." Adam asked, "What's wrong with that name? I mean, Doctor Who?"

"You know nothing about it, don't you?" Sera asked. "If the Doctor is down in Hell, it means that your...Yearly escapades are soon going to meet an end."

Adam laughed. "And why should I get scared by some guy with a bow tie? Bow ties are for nerds."

"That "loser" as you call him is the Last of the Time Lords, the most feared being in the universe." Sera explained, "He travels through Time and Space, saving people and fighting the evil in the universe, even if he's forced to use unorthodox methods."

"Good, he'll be on our side then-"

"NO, HE WILL NOT!" Sera shouted as several eyes appeared in her hair and wings. "What we're doing down there happens to be against his moral code. So, he'll do anything in his power to stop this. And considering what he had done in the Time War...We don't want to fight him."

"...Fuck, this "Doctor" guy seems tough." Said Adam, he had never seen Sera so distressed. "So, what do you wanna me to do?"

"Nothing." Sera calmed down. "Provoking him is the last thing we want. You're dismissed, Adam."

Adam left the room.

"Don't worry, Sera, I'll deal with this "Doctor"." He thought, grinning. "I'll make sure he won't do anything when I'll meet him."
