She was left on read and it was eating away at her.
Hawks' attitude upset her and even though it was sad inducing at first it was now infuriating. She recognized her own attitude building.
The gratitude she felt when Eraser announced that they'd be having an 'off' day was nice. He said something about how he didn't want to do any training before leaving for the mission.
She wasn't going to fight it. But she also was surprised and wondered if he had picked up in her mood swings and that was the true source to his shift. She wasn't going to fight it though. Not when she didn't often have 'lazy time' to herself.
Nurturing her attitude like the proper lady she was, she ordered another pineapple pizza and sat in front of the TV for most of the day.
There was no pressure to start conversation with the resident of the house. Though his presence was hardly there at the start of the day.
Yuri was sure the man had a hero call in the middle of the night and took the morning for sleep.
When he woke to notice her face of Hawks induced annoyance was when he said they wouldn't be training or rehearsing for the day.
He didn't say anything when the pizza delivery guy showed up or when she turned on a streaming service a few hours ago. Never leaving her spot on the couch unless to refill her iced coffee.
Though she did notice that there was always a pot brewing. Her heart swelled at the idea that the hosting hero kept it up for her.
Normally she'd think she was romanticizing the act but she had picked up on the first few days that the kitchen was hardly used and today was the first day that the hero made sure that she was never without her drink of choice.
It was the small things. And that was why she took a hot mug to his room and placed it on his desk without word.
It looked like he was grading papers or making a lesson plan. She thought of asking but didn't. Simply dropping off the drink and heading back to her binge and eat.
. . .
Aizawa was finishing up the last of the next quarters lesson plans when she delivered him coffee mug.
He didn't want to disrupt her 'Netflix and chill' just yet. Her mood had recovered signifyingly since there first encounter of the day. He had once met an undercover hero who could see auras and he wondered what hers would have looked like.
He didn't have to think deeply about what could have triggered them. It was clearly because of Hawks' tone in the apartment that evening before.
Gradually he made his way to the living area. She was lounging across the couch with a large graphic tee and her boxer briefs. Comfort and ease were now radiating off of her as her eyes never left the screen.
Aizawa's eyes lingered to the spot where her delicate ankles crossed. She was wearing crunched crew socks that were pristine white. Like they were fresh from the package.
He walked behind the couch so to not obstruct her view, and when he was in front of her smooth slender legs he made the impulsive decision to left her socked feet and place himself under them.
He wasn't touching her inappropriately but he could feel that he was feeding into something. That same something that he felt when he helped her stretch, and at the cafe and just last night when she molded into his side.
Not wanting to drew attention to his one hand on her foot and the the other on the armrest, "I looked into some of my resources regarding this event. The commission was lacking some key information." His finger absentmindedly starts to outline the arch of her foot, it amused his that she didn't move, so he continued, "In regards to activities they will be happening."
Aizawa's eyes trail her legs to her face. Hair in a top bun, unable to hide the blush hue on the tips of her ears. An observation that told him that he should probably stop his hands movement.
"O. Oh. Okay. Did you narrow down the agenda based on the higher possibility for information?"
She felt like she was melting. Yuri craved personal connection and the minuscule gift of touch that Eraser gave her was heart fluttering. Instinct told her to pull away but something else was stronger that made her stay in her lounged position.
"Yes and no. I gave us the best optimal agenda to be able to stick to our boundaries while also sticking to our roles. I still want your approval due to the sexual nature." As if he remembered his own boundaries, and to her own disappointment, he stopped his pets but didn't move his hand.
"Okay, so what's this agenda?"
"Poker, Spanking, Bondage, and Organism Denial through Masturbation. I hope to be in and out of the mission before it progresses to the later." She was about to ask questions but he continued. His voice even and his eyes never leaving her face. As is studying for a reaction.
"I don't know your experience with bondage and thought these options as safe. I will bring a flogger for beginners and less contact." There was another pause and his face looked sorrowful for a moment, "I won't be able to provide you with the proper aftercare due to our roles."
Yuri pulled her feet out from under his hand and hated it instantly. Coming to a crisscross position facing him she sighs, "Eraser... Aizawa." She says his name for the first time, "I need you to stop treating me like I'm broken." She starts to pick at her nails, "I understand that you don't like the circumstances but I've been doing this for a while. And I would apricate it if your treated me like an equal for real rather then the sympathetic version that you do."
His eyes wavered and she saw a hint of his shoulders relaxing.
"The agenda is perfect for the situation and the respected parties." Yuri bites her bottom lip for a moment while looking at her hands, "But if there is a moment that we do have to cross that line," She looks up into his dark eyes, "I want you to know that I consent." His hands fist and was about to speak.
Yuri stops her picking and places her palm on top of his clenched fist, "Not because of some paper you signed, or because of the commission. But because I feel comfortable around you." She feels his hand soften along with his eyes.
Shifting to sit back and feel her body sink into the back cushion, her eyes looking to the ceiling but her mind was far away. She momentarily thinks about Hawks ignoring her. Their past and all that she knew.
Aizawa watched as she found her next words.
"I'm going to take the offer to leave the commission. To work at Linda's. I don't know what I want, but I do know that I don't want to be under the commission anymore."
For the first time since meeting the girl she appeared vulnerable in front of him. No roles or walls. If he had the power to read auras hers would be the beginnings of a burst to transform into something else.
Something she was going to discover on her own.
"It's time that I leave them and become a hero that I want to be." Her lips turn bittersweet, "To meet people other then Hawks."
A moment of silence, "Thank you for introducing me to Midnight. I don't think I'd ever thought of getting out on my own. Not really. I also understand that I am still techniquely sticking to what I know. I can feel that this is better though."
Looking around the room for a moment with a quiet laugh, "I can have a cheap apartment and lounge and eat pineapple pizza all day and dom or sub at night."
Aizawa saw excitement in her eyes.
'Navy Blue'
That's what her aura would be. Because now that he watched these new emotions flood her he realized that she didn't have an aura before because the commission drowned out anything that could have been authentically hers.
