I want to preface this by saying that the reason the Robins Residence had a Quidditch pitch in the back, despite being a Muggle house, was because that, in addition to the fireplace being connected to the floo network, was one of the 2 magical modifications Alexa allowed Steve to make to it. The pitch was added purely for the benefit of Demelza and her friends.

Over the week following my visit, Demelza kept persisting with her requests to be allowed to visit the Burrow and see Harry. She even went as far as to write to my mum about it. In the end her efforts paid off and she was allowed to come over, on the condition that she didn't make a big scene around Harry.

She arrived alongside her father, who had joined her to try and make my mum see sense about me playing Quidditch. I still thought it was a lost cause, but I didn't want to be rude by trying to refuse him. He was trying to do me a big favour after all, and he had just got me a ticket for a massive Quidditch game, so I decided to let him have his moment.

When Demelza had previously been here, she had stayed down in the kitchen with Steve over dinner, and he didn't allow her to go anywhere else in the house, so I took this opportunity to show her around properly like she had to me at hers.

We started downstairs where Demelza took the time to look around at everything we owned. She was particularly fascinated by our clocks. Instead of normal hands and numbers like the ones in her Muggle house, one of ours, on the wall opposite the kitchen table, said things like "Time to make tea" "Time to feed the chickens" and "You're late". Our main grandfather clock in the living room had nine hands with our pictures on the end, and said things like "hospital" "prison" "work" "school" "home" and "mortal peril". I seriously hoped that none of the hands would ever be on 3 of those, especially the last one.

"What happened to just telling the time?" asked Demelza.

I laughed. "God knows, we love to over complicate when it comes to wizarding houses"

"Nah don't worry, trust me, I wish my house had these, it's so boring compared to yours, and we're only on the ground floor. You've got, what, 4 or 5 still to show me, plus the outside?"

"Yep, long way to go" I nodded.

"I always thought it was unfair of my mum, forcing us to live in a Muggle house, when she's the only non magical person living there. Maybe one day she'll see sense and let us introduce more than just the 2 current magical elements to it."

"I hope so, for your sake"

We went upstairs, passing by Fred and George's room, from which inside came a couple of small explosions. Demelza started to panic, but i swiftly calmed her down.

"Don't worry, that's normal, Fred and George are pranksters, they're probably just making some joke products".

"Treating explosions as normal, bloody hell" she said quietly, shaking her head. I giggled.

We then passed by my parents room, which has nothing interesting in, and on the third landing was my room.

I pushed the door open and let Demelza in ahead of me.

"Oh you like the Weird Sisters?" she asked, seeing my poster.

"Yeah, been a fan of them my whole life. Fun fact, they played on the pitch before the first Harpies game I ever listened to, which was the one where we beat the Cannons in less than 4 minutes".

"Oh really, well you chose a good first game to listen to!"

"Indeed!" I sat down on the edge of my bed and crossed my left leg over my right.

"What's your favourite Weird Sisters song?" Demelza asked.

"Spice up Your Life" (I know what you're thinking, that's a muggle song by the Spice Girls. Well, no it isn't, the Weird Sisters wrote it, and your guess is as good as mine as to how it got into the muggle world).

"oooh that's a good one, I'm not massively into music myself, but i do enjoy that song"

Suddenly Gwenog Jones's poster spoke, with Demelza having her back turned to it. It said "You can only be a Harpy if you're female" and Demelza jumped and looked around excitedly.

"Ginny, first you keep Harry Potter quiet, now you keep Gwenog Jones quiet, she's my all time idol and surely is at least one of yours too! Who's gonna be the next famous person here, Viktor Krum?"

And she dug out a quill and parchment from her robes. Looking randomly to her right, she said "Ms Jones, it's an honour to meet you-" but then stopped with a confused look on her face when she heard me laughing, and looking down at me she saw that I was rolling around on the bed in hysterics.

"What, what's so funny? And where did she go?"

"D-Demelza" I choked, tears streaming down my face. "Look behind you"

She turned around and saw the poster, which smiled and waved down at her.

When she turned around to face me again, i'd finally calmed down, but she was far from happy!

"Oh very funny! You set me up there didn't you!"

"Yes, and please, stop talking for a moment, i want to preserve that memory forever!"

"Oh if only you had a Pensive" Demelza sarcastically replied.

I stood up, still chuckling, and we left to continue our tour.

We passed by Percy's room, which he was still shut up in.

"I wish we knew what he's up to in there, he only ever comes out at mealtimes"

"Maybe he has a secret girlfriend"

I turned around and gave her a strange look.

"Nah, I can't imagine Percy dating anyone, he's too stuck up, follows rules strictly. He's way too boring for any relationship."

After ignoring Bill and Charlie's empty, abandoned rooms, we finally arrived at the very top, at Ron's room. We heard Harry's and Ron's voices from inside, and Demelza became excited, now was going to be her chance to meet Harry.

"Remember what I said, treat him normally"

"Yes Mistress" Demelza replied, rolling her eyes.

I knocked and Ron said "Come in!"

I let Demelza enter first and watched her reaction to seeing Harry carefully. Aside from glancing towards his scar, she remained silent, and there was an awkward pause. I broke it by saying:

"Ron, Harry, this is my friend Demelza Robins. Demelza, this is my brother Ron"

"Nice to meet you" they both said at the same time.

We sat down on an upturned box. Demelza looked around the room, seeing how it was decorated entirely in Chudley Cannons orange.

"My word, have you always had this poor of a taste in Quidditch teams?" she said cheekily.

She and I burst out laughing.

"Is that really the first thing you say to me?!" Ron blurted out.

"Well to be fair bro, it is true" I said "Ninth is pretty high for Chudley".

"Didn't you just lose to the bloody Kestrals?"

"Hey, you cannot shit talk the Harpies. We may have lost to Kenmere but historically we've always been levels above the Cannons. One defeat to a currently similar team isn't gonna change that" responded Demelza.

"What's your Quidditch team?" I asked Harry.

"Er, well, I haven't had the time to choose one" he replied honestly.

"Yeah, he's been too busy saving the Philosophers Stone with me" said Ron, seeking to turn the tables on us.

"So it's true then? I did hear a rumour about what went on at Hogwarts last year, but it sounded absurd" said Demelza.

"Yep, and I nearly died in the process, but it was well worth it. Speaking of that though, let me tell you something. You might find this hard to believe, but a house elf visited me at the Dursley's the other night, and he was trying to warn me of something really terrible that's apparently going to happen at Hogwarts this year"

"Woah, hold on!" I interrupted "First of all, what the hell is a house elf doing at a Muggle house? I mean Demelza's muggle house having a floo network connection and a quidditch pitch outside surprised me enough, but a house elf in a muggle house is a whole new level. Secondly, we're starting at Hogwarts this year, so do we have something to be worried about?"

"I doubt it" replied Harry "I bet it belonged to Draco Malfoy, he probably sent it to try and stop me coming back, he hates me"

"You live in a Muggle house?" Ron asked Demelza and she nodded, "So you're a muggle born, our best friend Hermione Granger is one too".

"Nope, Half blood. Mum's a muggle, dad's a wizard. Mum insisted we live in a Muggle house though. My dad's downstairs at the moment talking to your mum. He wants to find out why you lot won't let Ginny play Quidditch".

I sighed, closed my eyes, and pinched the bridge of my nose. That was the worst thing Demelza could have said!

"Well for starters, she can't even fly, so that's a big problem already".

I bit my lip, thinking. I didn't want to admit to flying and practising Quidditch at night, but I didn't want to listen to Ron shit talk me either.

"Oh she can fly, I bet she could fly circles around you and all your brothers! She was at my house the other day, and i've not seen a better Quidditch player in anyone who's ever visited me!"

Ron laughed "That's a funny story, but Ginny is just a little girl, she couldn't play Quidditch if she tried, I bet you couldn't either"

"Woah, now come on Ron, that is uncalled for!" said Harry, and Demelza blushed at being backed up by someone so famous. "Surely, it wouldn't hurt to let them play with us and see if they can prove themselves!"

"Oh so you're on their side now, are you!" yelled back Ron.

I had to intervene.

"Guys, guys stop!"

They all turned to look at me.

"I don't need any fights being started between us over this. At the end of the day, it's our parents decision, so why don't we go and find out what that decision is? They're downstairs, and as Demelza said, yes, they've been talking this over. Let's go and see them and sort this out civilly."

I rose to my feet to indicate that I felt my words should be final on the matter. Demelza did the same, and so did Harry. Finally, after about another minute, Ron slowly and reluctantly got up too.

"I think you're all mental. But fine, i'll humor you. Let's go".
