I did not realize that Chapter 19 was the same as Chapter 20. I'm not sure how that happened. I fixed it with what should have been the chapter. Sorry about that! Whoever told me, Thank You!
Kenny PoV
Kenny felt crazy. Actually, saying he felt crazy was the understatement of the century. He felt something completely worse. Kenny couldn't focus on anything at all anymore. Except for Marina. He hated it. Never in his life had a girl done this to him before. He was worried about this happening. And he knew he was feeling things he had never felt.
He was still mad at himself for grabbing her leg at school, he didn't even know what made him want to do that. But he definitely knew he needed to get control of himself. He didn't want to end up hurting Marina. Even though he felt like he was the one who was going to end up getting hurt somehow.
Kenny mopped the floor vigorously as if he were trying to scrub the thoughts out of his head. But he couldn't escape them at all. Her skin, the sound of her voice, her face. He swallowed hard as he shoved the mop into the bucket of water, slapping it down onto the ground hard and moving it again. He didn't seem to want anything to do with any other girl. Two other girls had already hit him up just that day and he had no desire to see them at all. He knew they weren't going to match up to what just happened to him this past weekend. Would he be comparing every single girl to her from now on? He still couldn't get over how alive he had felt. The most alive he had ever felt... He stopped and closed his eyes, running his free hand down his face. He took one deep breath before pulling himself together as best as he could and finished his shift.
City Wok closed and he began his walk home in the dark chilly night. He missed his old coat. He'd love to hide in it right about now. Kenny breathed the fresh air in slowly, grabbing the pack of cigarettes out of his pocket. He pulled one out and stuck it in his mouth before lighting it. He took as long of a drag as he could. His hand shook as he put it all back into his pocket. Kenny kept trying to remind himself that she was just a girl, this was no different.
A car slowed next to him, he looked over to see Nichole, "Kenny? Do you need a ride?"
He nodded, tossing his cigg to the ground and stomping on it before running to her passenger side. He got inside and rubbed his hands together as he blew on them.
"How are you?" He asked as she started heading toward his house.
"Not too bad, how are things with you?"
"Not bad. Everything just feels weird right now." He told her honestly.
Kenny always admired Nichole, she was one of the handful of girls that always had a lot of self respect. She never fell for Kenny's charms, but that was probably because she seemed to have a crush on Kyle for a very long time. She was pressured into dating Token in elementary school, and after they realized it, they broke up and she seemed to be a much stronger person after.
"I hope it gets better for you. How's your friends doing?" She spoke in a quiet voice.
"They're good." Kenny grinned, knowing she wanted to know about Kyle, "How's your boyfriend doing?"
"Oh, we broke up. He ended up being a jerk."
"That happens." Kenny sighed, looking out of the window.
"How's the dating side of things going for you, playboy?" She chuckled.
Kenny smiled, "The same old same old."
"Still sampling?"
He laughed, "Is that the kind way of saying that?"
"Yeah. I felt like it was nicer than asking if you were still sleeping with any girl who opens her legs." Nichole giggled.
Kenny continued laughing until he remembered that he actually wasn't sleeping around lately.
"Actually. I don't know for sure, and I am really scared to even admit it out loud."
"You like someone?" She cut him off, her mouth open in surprise.
"I mean.. Yes, I would say I like someone, because obviously I like them as a person. But I might like them a lot more than just liking them." He winced at his wording, and at the fact he was even talking about having actual feelings for a girl.
"Who is it?"
"Nope. Not telling you that. Or anyone."
"Can I make guesses?"
"No, because that would still be telling you." He chuckled.
"So Kenny has a crush. A real crush. Have you slept with her already?"
"Of course."
"Once?"
"More than once. And I want to again. I actually haven't wanted to sleep with anyone else since I first slept with her. Every time I go to, I end up backing out because I can't get her out of my head.."
Nichole smiled a strange smile, keeping her eyes on the road, "So what changed that player heart of yours?"
"Well first of all, I haven't technically ever been a player, just a bit of a slut." He smirked, "But I don't know. She makes me feel these things I've never felt before, and I feel like I don't have full control over myself around her. It's kind of scary actually. But it is also exhilarating. I feel like... alive with her."
"Is it Marina?" She asked casually.
He almost nodded.
"What? Why would you think that?"
"We live in a small town, our graduating class isn't very big Kenny. If this is fresh. I know that there are maybe two handfuls of girls that are of age to sleep with you that haven't yet. Of just our graduating class, the ones I know for sure are Wendy, Marina, Heidi, and me. Could be more though. But Wendy and Heidi are in relationships and I know we haven't slept together. So I'm just guessing Marina. She is your best friend so you know her very well already. I also saw you guys dancing and making out at Token's party."
"I never said she was in our graduating class. Or that she went to our school. Also everyone knows now that Marina and I took each other's virginity."
"True, but things change. That was years ago wasn't it? Could have done it again and you felt something new. Who have you had the time to get to know better than Marina? You are up her ass all the time. If this is not Marina we are talking about, you might want to start backing off of her some. I don't think you'd want this other girl to think that you like her instead."
"Nichole, I am having a hard enough time admitting it all to myself, so I definitely won't be admitting to you who it is. Stop digging." He stared out the window.
"What about if I tell you who I really like. Would you tell me then?"
"You like Kyle." Kenny smirked.
"How do you know that?"
"Because I am not stupid. I picked up on it a long time ago."
"Just like I picked up your crush on Marina." She smiled really big.
Kenny gave her a sarcastic smile as she pulled in front of his house.
"Why don't you talk to him?"
"I actually talk to Kyle all the time. We have two classes together and we sit next to each other and talk during the downtime in both of them."
"Seriously?" Kenny asked, kind of shocked.
"Yes. But I know he is dating his crush from the camp he used to go to. He won't want anything to do with me like that."
"You do know he had a crush on you when you first moved in?"
"I was just fresh meat."
"I don't think that was why. Did he sit next to you when he saw you in these classes or did you?"
"He sat next to me when he saw me."
"Maybe I'll drop some hints here and there and see if maybe he's into you too."
"He has a girlfriend."
"Well they have nothing tying them together forever if it doesn't work out."
"I don't want him to cheat on her."
"Maybe he will just break up with her if he realizes you like him."
"Me aside, I think that you should give your feelings a chance to surface about whoever this girl is, even though we both know it is Marina. But I won't tell anyone."
"Thanks Nichole, for the talk and the ride, be safe okay?"
"No problem Kenny."
He shut the door to his room, stripping down as he crossed over to his bed. Once he was just in his boxers he fell onto it. Staring at the ceiling before he pulled his phone out of his pocket. He decided to try one more time, texting the girl in his phone under the name Blonde-Addie. He remembered her reminding him of Marina.
ME
Hey cutie
Blonde-Addie
Hi handsome! What's up?
ME
Wondering if maybe you would want to hang out?
Blonde-Addie
I can sneak you into my window if you want to be here in an hour
ME
Sounds good! ;)
Kenny went to the window he remembered being hers, he definitely did this the last time. She lifted the window and he climbed in. She pulled her oversized shirt over her head as soon as he got into her room. She was wearing a matching bra and underwear underneath. Kenny tried his best to admire her body. She stepped forward, brushing her hands up his sides as she slid his shirt off. This was something that would normally turn him on, but he started feeling sick to his stomach. Her lips pressed against his and his eyes closed easily. He forced himself not to compare her to Marina. Her hands unbuttoned his jeans and she slid one down the front of his pants, grabbing him. She didn't have cold hands, any other time it would have felt great but he knew this wasn't who he wanted to be doing this with. He pictured her as Marina in his mind, telling himself that her hands were Marina's. He felt the goosebumps raise at the thought of her touching him. She pulled away from the kiss and started to get down onto her knees, pulling his pants down a little bit. Kenny kept his eyes closed, tilting his head back to keep from being tempted to look down. Imagining Marina's blue eyes looking up at him. He smiled at the thought. Kenny could feel a condom sliding onto him and he briefly opened his eyes, turning Addie around and bending her over her desk chair. As soon as Kenny slid into her, he felt an overwhelming feeling of guilt, it was so bad it made his stomach turn. Like he was doing something very wrong. "What the fuck." He said out loud.
"I know! Keep going!" She moaned.
The sound of her voice, reminding him again that this wasn't Marina, caused him to go soft instantly.
"What?" She asked, standing up and turning around.
"Sorry. I um. I don't really feel well right now. My stomach is hurting so bad. I feel like... Like I am going to throw up." He shoved his pants and shirt back on before he booked it over to her window. As soon as he got outside, he felt his eyes fill with water. "The fuck is wrong with you Kenny?" He mumbled to himself as he started running home.
Why did he feel so guilty? Like he was cheating on Marina or something.
Kenny groaned as he started running faster. Running as fast as he could all the way home.
He smoked on the way to Marina's in the morning, he made sure to leave late enough that Stan wouldn't be far off. Sure enough, by the time he finished his Cigarette, Stan pulled up. Marina and Cartman walked out of the house. "Oh Hey Kenny." She greeted once she saw him.
"Hey." He tilted his head up at her as he followed behind them to the car.
"You guys ready for Homecoming this weekend?" Stan asked as he pulled off.
"I'm going dress shopping with Wendy tonight." Marina announced.
"You know they're announcing who made the cut for court today right?" Kyle added.
"Yes."
"I already know Marina made it." Cartman cut in.
"How do you know?" She asked.
"Because, I know how often I hear your name in the hallways. Especially lately." Cartman told her.
"Cartman, why are you listening to people talk about Marina in the hallways?" Kyle asked.
"Because I am nosy. I didn't try to listen on purpose. Just heard it in passing. I know I voted for her."
"I was going to vote for you, but I had to vote for my lady." Stan added.
"I understand." She giggled, "You guys didn't need to vote for me."
"Good. Because I voted for Nichole." Kyle nervously laughed.
"You did?" Kenny asked.
"Yes."
"Kenny was just so quiet that I almost forgot I picked him up." Stan announced.
"Why did you vote for Nichole?" He ignored Stan.
"I mean, she's beautiful. Not that Marina isn't. But I just wanted to make sure she had some votes because she deserves the crown."
"Why do you feel like she deserves the crown?"
"Kenny what the hell is with all the questions about Nichole getting the crown? Racist?" Cartman asked.
"No. I like Nichole. I just was wondering why Kyle felt like she deserved it. Did something bad happen to her?"
"Well I know that her ex was an ass. We talk a lot in class and I know she's been through a lot dealing with him. I just wanted to vote for her to give her some confidence back. She is beautiful and I didn't want him to make her feel like she isn't after he hurt her.." Kyle shrugged.
"That makes sense." Kenny nodded, he could see Marina looking over at him. He quickly looked out the window beside him.
Their classes were all cut short for the pep-rally planned at the end of the school day. Everyone crowded into the gym. Kenny was in the basketball locker room with the other guys on his team, waiting to be called out. The cheerleaders were already out there getting the crowd riled up. The team was announced and they ran into the gym. Everyone was cheering and screaming.
Eventually it quieted down and they started making some announcements about how the game was against their rivals, North Park. Kenny was busy admiring Marina as she cheered with a big smile on her face. He came out of his trance as he heard them talking about Homecoming Court.
"When your name is called, come to the middle of the gym! You will be given your Court sash. These will be the final 4 that gained the most votes. The rest of this week you will be voting for the winner. First up, it's ladies first, Nichole Daniels!" Everyone cheered as Nichole walked up and a sash saying 'HOMECOMING COURT' was placed across her body. "Marina Morrison!" Marina walked across the gym floor as everyone cheered again, getting a sash as well. "Bebe Stevens!" The same followed for her. "Wendy Testaburger!" Everyone cheered again.
"Next is the boys! Clyde Donovan!" Everyone continued to cheer as each person was called up, "Stan Marsh!... Kenny McCormick!" Kenny walked up feeling all eyes on him as they cheered, he forced himself to smile. "Craig Tucker!"
The rest of the week went by pretty fast, Kenny and Marina didn't really get to hang out much. She was working on the Homecoming Court float with the other girls on the court when she wasn't at practice or working. He was also working a lot and going to practice.
Friday came faster than he expected. Kenny showed up to her house in the morning wearing his jersey with his jeans. Marina was wearing a very cute, short lace teal dress with her sash over it, the crown she got at the office yesterday was accompanying it. Her hair was curled perfectly, sitting neatly over her shoulders. She looked like the old Marina, but with more make up on. Kenny's mouth went dry at the sight of her.
"You look very beautiful sweetheart." Her dad told her from the dining room table when she came into his view in the kitchen.
"Thank you dad." She beamed.
"Gorgeous!" Liane smiled at her.
"Thank you." Marina smiled back, her eyes met Kenny's and he swallowed hard.
"Do I look homecoming court cute?" She asked Kenny and Cartman.
Cartman just nodded quickly. Kenny felt like doing the same, but he rasped out a simple "yes".
Stan texted them and they headed out of the door.
"Holy shit!" Stan called from the car.
"Just when you thought she couldn't get any hotter she comes out looking like that." Cartman told him as he rounded the car.
"You look beautiful!" Kyle told her as soon as she got into the car.
"Thank you Kyle." She smiled at him.
Kenny was doing his best to not stare at her. His eyes were on her exposed knees. The thoughts in his brain went straight to all of the dirty things he would do to her in that dress. He turned to look out of the window quickly.
They were sitting together in their first period, talking about their chapters. Kenny was being as casual as he could be. He was struggling more than he expected.
"Why are you being so weird this week?" She asked.
"I'm not."
She squinted at him, "Liar."
"I'm fine. Today I'm being weird because you look very..very beautiful.. That dress is..making me feel some things." He lowered his voice.
"This old thing?" She asked innocently.
He nodded.
"What is it doing?" Marina whispered.
"Making me want to touch you." He whispered back.
"Touch me where?"
"I'm struggling as it is, don't make me lose control over myself in here." He chuckled.
"Do you need any help with renting a Tux for tomorrow?" She changed the subject.
"I was going to tell you that I will only be able to afford that or the flowers."
"I can help you get the Tux, just let me know and I'll have my dad order it for you."
He nodded, he always appreciated how Marina would help him and never make him feel embarrassed about it. She never made him feel like she was doing a massive favor for him because he was poor. And she usually worded it in a way that didn't even make it sound like it had to do with money.
Kenny was heading toward the cafeteria when someone suddenly grabbed onto his wrist. He whipped around finding Marina looking up at him with a wicked smile.
"What?" He chuckled.
"Wanna go have some fun?" She winked.
"Hell yes I do!" He perked up, turning and walking toward the Janitor's closet. Her hand gripped tighter onto his wrist.
He looked around quickly and knocked before opening the door, it was luckily empty. He grabbed her wrist and pulled her inside. He locked the door.
"Just don't mess up my hair." She whispered as she stepped toward him.
"I wouldn't dare." He whispered back, turning the light on. She slid her hands into his hair and brushed her lips over his. He moved them until she was against the shelves. Pulling his lips away from hers, he grabbed her waist and turned her around.
"You're on the pill still, right?" He asked breathlessly, his heart pounding.
"Yes. Make this quick. We have to finish before lunch is over." She told him in a giggly voice.
"Yes, ma'am." He shoved the bottom of her dress up and slid her underwear to the side, he moved his hand between her legs, his fingers wrapped upward and he slowly started to finger her, she braced her hands on the shelving unit and bent over slightly to give him better access. He made sure she was wet enough before he unbuttoned and unzipped his jeans, he lifted his shirt just slightly before he pushed into her.
She moaned softly.
"Do you think you'll be able to stay quiet enough?" He whispered as his hands slid onto her waist.
"I'm going to try. It's hard to stay quiet when your dick is hitting me in all the right places I've never had anyone reach before." She breathed.
This sent a rush of confidence through him that had him shoving hard and fast into her. She was clearly biting her moans back. He would never get tired of that noise. He grunted quietly behind her as he thrust wildly, she tightened around him every now and then, making him groan. He pulled her hips toward him at every push.
She moaned loudly, "We gotta do a different angle, this feels way too good." Marina told him quickly.
"No. It needs to be quick. It needs to feel way too good." He breathed behind her.
The stands were completely filled, as they usually were for the Homecoming game. At half time they had all of the homecoming court line up with their dates.
"First, we have Clyde Donovan who is running for Homecoming King, and his date Bebe Stevens who is running for Homecoming Queen." They walked to the middle of the field, waving to the crowd as they walked. "Next up we have Nichole Daniels who is running for Homecoming Queen. Nichole does not currently have a date at this time, but she says she is single now and she is up for any takers." She started to walk onto the field, a big smile on her face as she waved, the crowd was cheering, but suddenly they erupted into a roar. Kenny looked around to see what was going on.
Kyle had just jumped the fence and was jogging out toward Nichole, she stopped and he held his arm out for her to grab. Kenny couldn't help but chuckle at the face she was making. Nichole was beaming as she walked with Kyle over to Clyde and Bebe.
"That was awesome." Marina said from beside him.
"I know."
"That just brought a tear to my eye!" The announcer said into the mic, "That was Kyle Broflovski everybody. Next up we have Stanley Marsh who is running for Homecoming King and his date Wendy Testaburger who is running for Homecoming Queen." Everyone cheered again.
"Next up is Kenny McCormick who is running for Homecoming King and his date Marina Morrison, running for Homecoming Queen." Kenny held his elbow out for her to grab onto his arm, she slid her hand over his arm and grasped onto it lightly. Kenny's heart was racing as they started walking across the field. He felt like they were completely on display, like his feelings were on display to everyone. He reminded himself that they had been best friends for years and this shouldn't look strange at all. The crowd was cheering for them, and he glanced over at Marina to see her smiling at everyone, waving so gracefully. He waved at them as well, up until they took their place next to Wendy and Stan. "Last we have Craig Tucker and his date Tweek Tweak." Everyone cheered again and they stood next to Kenny and Marina.
"Tomorrow the King and Queen will be announced at the dance. Give it up for our Homecoming Court!"
The game resumed and they ended up winning. Kenny walked over to Marina as Kyle was walking up to the fence line. "Where is Lacey?" Marina asked.
"She must have left when I walked out there." Kyle told her sadly.
"But you were just being nice." She told him.
Kenny watched Kyle bite the inside of his cheek. "Lacey doesn't understand that. Lacey gets mad very easily. I've been ignoring it for a bit now because I had liked her so much. I knew she would be angry at me for doing that. But I couldn't just make Nichole walk out there and stand alone after all she had been through. Lacey knows that Nichole and I have a couple classes together and I think she thinks I've been cheating on her with Nichole. So this was probably just confirming that in her head."
"Were you?" Marina asked.
"Not at all. You know how I am."
"I think what you did was brave and I am proud of you!" Kenny told him.
"Thanks dude!"
Nichole walked over to them, "Thank you Kyle, seriously. I was literally prepared to walk out there alone. You just made my night."
"I just couldn't make you do that after all you had been through this past year. You deserved to walk out there with someone." He smiled at her.
"Where is Lacey?" She asked, looking around.
"She um, she left I think. I haven't been able to find her since I did that."
"But you were only being a good friend."
"I don't think that's how she saw it." He shrugged.
"Well, I'm really sorry."
"It's not your fault. I'll go with you to the dance tomorrow if you want." Kyle smiled at her again.
Kenny watched as Nichole's entire facial expression changed. He thought this might have been the happiest he had ever seen her. She just nodded. Kenny's eyes met with Marina's and she gave him a knowing look.
"I'm going to go head to the locker room and change."
"I'm going to go wait for you, we have to discuss the flowers you'll need to get tomorrow." Marina followed him quickly.
As soon as they were away from Nichole and Kyle she nudged him, "Did you see that look she just had?! She is totally in love with Kyle!" Marina beamed.
"Did you see the smile he gave her?" Kenny asked her excitedly.
"No!"
"He definitely likes her too!"
"Well duh! He just risked his relationship with his childhood crush to be there for Nichole."
"You know that Kyle had a crush on Nichole when we were like 10 right? Like right when she first moved here."
"No! I did not know that."
"Well he did. Cartman ruined it."
"You are kidding me."
"It's the truth. Anyway I am going to change."
"Okay. We will finish up all the stuff we need to talk about after."
