We walk to the quarter, where there is just this party going on. I like to consider New Orleans a copy version of New York City. A city that never sleeps.

Walking in, all I can sense are vampires. There aren't any other supernatural creatures. I want to leave this place, but I'm just here to make sure Niklaus doesn't do something he'll regret. I know he can take Marcel's army, but Marcel is too cocky right now; I know he has something up his sleeve. Or he'd be way more afraid of us coming back to town.

We walked up to one of the people wearing a daylight ring and questioned him.

"Where is Marcel?" Niklaus states angrily.

"Who the hell is asking?" He says in a harsh manner back.

"I'm assuming you're joking."

"I only answer to Marcel." He stands his ground.

"Bad answer." I remark, before Niklaus acts quickly. He grabs the guy by the throat and struggles to get out of Nik's grasp.

"You are aware that bite of a werewolf can kill a vampire, and as you can see I'm half werewolf so I'm gonna ask you one last time! WHERE IS MARCEL!" Niklaus screams in his face, before I see Marcel coming up behind us, making Nik let go.

"Hey hey hey! I'm right here! Right here. Easy now, Diego just looking out for me, nobody harms my guys, those are the rules." Marcel says with a smile.

"I'm getting really tired of your rules, Marcel." I state it in a mean manner.

"Why are you having me followed?" Niklaus asked harshly, and Marcel looked between the two of us.

"Look, you made your point. No more bodyguard alright, so why don't we just...let it go." Marcel states trying to calm Nik down. "Come on, let me show you around the place."

Niklaus continues to stare angrily at Marcel, but eventually agrees. I am not that easily convinced though. This entire room is filled with vampires drinking from people. It's insane how Marcel has got control over this entire city, that he somehow managed to scare the witches, allows vampires to feed on the humans without an consequences of hurting the town, and got rid of the werewolfs. I have not seen a single werewolf in town, which I guess makes sense. If he wants this town to have many vampires, he can't have werewolf lurking nearby. But I still don't like this power and it gives me an uneasy feeling.

Marcel and Niklaus talk outside on the patio, while I stand in the corner looking over the city. I don't about their conversation. I just want to find the reason why that witch wanted Niklaus. Usually no witches even consider talking to Nik, let alone luring him to town. But I think I'm starting to understand. Marcel has this town wrapped around his finger. If the witches want to get rid of him, they need someone more powerful...like Niklaus. The only thing is what possible leverage could they have, that they think Niklaus would just help them?

I watch as Marcel jumps off the terrace, to go to this girl, possibly to feed on her. I then move closer to Niklaus.

"You trust him?" I ask curious, as Niklaus looks over the terrace.

"That's to be determined." Niklaus states and I nod. I then feel a whoosh behind me, and turn to see Elijah. We left without telling him, but I'm assuming he read that letter from Katherine. So makes sense he's here.

"Evening Elijah." Niklaus states.

"Niklaus." Elijah states in a gentle tone.

"What a entirely unwelcome surprise." Niklaus remarks.

"What a entirely unsurprising welcome. I need you two to come." Elijah states.

"We can't." I explain, and he looks at me curiously.

"Not until I find out who's conspiring against me." Niklaus states, which makes it seem paranoid coming out of his mouth.

"I believe I already found it out." Elijah states and I look at him interested.

Elijah takes Niklaus and I to this cemetery. Both of us are confused, but Elijah seems pretty determined. We walk to the back of this cemetery and Elijah opens this gate, and when we enter I see Sophie.

"Sophie Devereaux. What is this?" Niklaus questions and I am wondering the same thing.

"You know you're famous in this town?" She states and Niklaus gives her a smirk. He stands there with a grin on his face.

"Please don't filter his ego." I state irritated, but she continues to talk.

"Witches tell bedtime stories about the powerful vampire Klaus. We know Marcel was nothing but orphan street rat, until you made him what he is. And now he's out of control. Does what he wants, kills what he wants, but I'm gonna stop him. And you're going to help me." She explains. I knew it. Marcel has too much power for someone to not want to take him off his high horse.

Niklaus laughs at this claim. "This is why you brought me here?"

"Hear her out." Elijah states.

"I will not! Nothing she can say will make me stand here for—" Niklaus goes off angrily but I cut him off.

"What do you have?" I question and they all look at me. "You definitely have something that will peak my brother's interest. So what is it?"

Sophie looks at me with a smile, before a girl walks in behind us. I turn around, to not recognize the girl.

"Klaus, you need to listen to them." This girl states and I look at her confused.

"Who the hell is this?" I question.

"Our brother's one night stand, Hayley." Elijah explains, but I am still confused with the matter. Niklaus seems pretty confused as well, as he starts laughing his ass off.

"You're all out of your minds if you think some little one night stand, no offense sweetheart, means a thing to me!" Niklaus remarks, but I look at her interested. I feel a type of pull towards her. I feel...a sort of magic coming from her.

"You're a werewolf." I ask and she nods her head. "Why do you have magic coming from you?"

She stays silent when I ask. I look at Elijah, and he doesn't say a word either. What is going on?

"I know you can sense it." Sophie says to me, and I turn around to face her, along with Nik.

"Where is that magic coming from?" I ask her and she gives me a smile.

"You know sister." Elijah states and I look towards him now. "You have had this feeling before. This feeling of a newly magic."

Newly magic? The only time I have had a feeling of newly magic was right before mother announced she was pregnant with-

No. No no no.

I turn around to face Hayley again, but this time look towards her stomach. There is no doubt the magic is coming from there. I look at it with my eyes widen.

"What is it, Kalle?" Niklaus questioned me, but I had no answer. This was just... how the heck? This just... made no sense. How could it even be possible? "KALLE!"

I look away from Hayley and look at Nik. "She's carrying your child."

I watch as Nik's eye turns to surprise. They widen even more than mine. A small gasp comes from him, but then his shock starts to go away.

"No. No, it's not possible, vampires can't procreate." Niklaus tries to justify.

"But werewolfs can. Magic made you a vampire but your were born a werewolf." Sophie explains and we all turn to face her. "You're the original hybrid. The first of your kind. And this pregnancy is...one of nature's loopholes."

Niklaus looks angrily at Sophie, before turning to face Hayley again. "You've been with someone else admit it!" Niklaus screams at her face, but Elijah moves him back calmly.

"I've been trapped in a hole for days, eating scarps. You think I would have come out with the truth if it wasn't yours?" Hayley complains, but Nik continues to glare.

"Nik that's your child." I exclaim and Nik looks at me now. "I know our blood. I felt this same exact feeling when mother was pregnant with Bex and Henrick. This is no doubt your child."

"My sister gave her life to confirm this pregnancy, and now the lives of this girl and her baby are now controlled by us." She states, and we all turn to face her confused. "If you don't help us take down Marcel, so help me Hayley won't live long enough to see her first maternity dress."

"Wait what?" Hayley asks and I start to get defensive.

"No one is hurting the girl." I state sternly. That girl is carrying my niece. No way in hell am I going to let anything happen to her.

"Enough of this, I will kill Marcel myself." Elijah remarks.

"No, we can't. Not yet. We have a clear plan and we need to follow and there are rules." Sophie explains and I roll my eyes.

"How dare you command me?" Nik starts talking, and I look over to him. "THREATEN ME! WITH WHAT YOU WRONGFULLY PRECEIVE TO BE MY WEAKNESSES! I won't hear anymore lies!" Niklaus then tries to walk out.

"Niklaus." Elijah states, and he immediately stops walking. He turns around to face Elijah and I. "Listen."

Niklaus pauses for a moment, before turning around to Hayley. I'm assuming Elijah meant to listen to the baby's heartbeat. Nik looks at the stomach for a while. I can't see his face, but by the amount of silence flowing in the room, I know he is in shock.

I look up to Elijah hopeful, but he continues to stare at Nik. What are the chances this baby could possibly change...everything?

After about a minute, Niklaus turns to face us again and I give him a small smile. I swore I saw a tiny smile on Elijah too, before he went back to being serious.

"Kill her and the baby." Nik states and my smile drops, with any hope of Niklaus actually caring. "What do I care?" He then leaves angrily.

"Elijah." I state looking up to him and he looks down at me.

"I will fix this." Elijah remarks and I nod, before he leaves as well.

This is honestly incredible. This girl carrying Nik's child, this baby, could change everything for us. Our family has been spilt for so long. Our family has been damaged, beyond repair. Or at least that's what I thought. Our pact 'Always and Forever' has been very difficult to keep throughout the centuries and I feel we were almost reaching the end of our family.

But then this baby comes along. A gift. A redemption for our family, for Niklaus. We cannot let it slip away. And we cannot let Niklaus ruin this opportunity, not only for him, but for us.

"Take her back to the bayou." Sophie demands and these two people lead Hayley out of the cemetery.

"They won't hurt her, right?" I question, turning to look at Sophie.

"No. We couldn't care less about the girl or the baby, but we aren't going to hurt them for no reason." Sophie explains.

"Right, just using her so my brother could do your dirty work." I highlight and she shakes her head no.

"You don't understand. Marcel is the 'King of the City'. He knows how and when we do our magic and makes it impossible for us to even try a simple spell. Imagine if you were mortal and the moment you even thought about doing a spell, you would be dead."

"Sounds like the Salem Witch Trials." I state sarcastically but she looks at me irritated. "But I understand. I would not be able to live without my magic. How does Marcel even know when you do magic?"

"He has a secret weapon." Sophie explains.

"Do you know this secret weapon?" I question. Sophie moved her mouth for a moment, but nothing comes out. "I'll take that as a yes."

"It's very complicated. I may know what it is, but knowing does not help me at all. If I want to take down Marcel, I need to take down him in general. Because after that, all the vampires will be without a leader and his secret weapon won't have as much of a use." Sophie states.

"And why can't Elijah just kill Marcel right now? I mean it's not that hard." I exclaim.

"He can't. His secret—"

"This secret weapon is sounding like a big problem that should be delt with more than Marcel. And also if this secret weapon is so powerful, why is it under Marcel's wing?" I question, but again no answer. "You are a hard woman to ask questions to."

"Just know that if we want Marcel gone, this plan must be precise. Otherwise, Marcel will continue to reign and that girl will be dead." Sophie threatens which angers me a little, but I decide to take the high road.

"You have a good night." I state, before leaving the cemetery. God, that places gives me the creeps.

Eventually Niklaus agreed to save the child. I have no idea how though. I think Elijah said something about how Nik wants to be king and needs to have a heir. But, Elijah says he thinks Nik really does want to be a father, but just won't show it.

I, knowing how my brother is, believe the first answer more.

But now, Elijah and I headed back to Mystic Falls while Nik stayed in New Orleans. We went back to fetch Rebekah, so we could leave. Honestly, thank god. I was getting so sick of this town. Besides, I really needed a distraction from Kol, and this baby thing is perfect.

However, Bex does not seem so.

"So that's it? I'm just supposed to pack up my things and leave for good? Forget my life here, my pursuit for the cure?" Rebekah complains.

"Bex hate to break it to you, but there is no way you're getting that cure back from Silas. And besides your life here was being a high school student, and going to school with people who hated you." I state and she walks past me irritated.

"I wanted to be human." Rebekah complains to me and I cross my arms. "I wanted children and a family."

"And we stand before you to offer you both." Elijah states, walking closer to Rebekah while I stay back.

"And if I decide against you guys? A dagger in my heart and back in a box?" Rebekah questions.

"I've made my case. Your family needs you. But whatever choice you make right now is your own." Elijah explains. Rebekah looks at Elijah for a moment, then looks behind him at me. After a few more seconds, she looks back at Elijah.

"I owe him nothing. I wish him no joy, no love, I'm going to stay here and live the life I want to and if you're smart, I suggest you both do the same." Rebekah states, before walking away frustrated.

"Tried that, didn't work out!" I yell as she walks out of the room. Elijah turns to face me irritated.

"Not helpings sister." Elijah states and I shrug my shoulder.

"She's right." Someone says next to me, and I am startled to see Katherine. God why is she everywhere. "Not her, the blond one who just stormed away."

"What are you doing here?" I ask annoyed.

"None of your concern. Your business is actually outside of this house waiting for you." Katherine states, and I look at her confused. "Unless you want to stay here with Elijah and I."

"I'm leaving." I quickly remark, and a smile plasters on her face. "I'll be outside Elijah."

I walk to the front entrance and open the door to see the last person I wanted to see today. Actually, Katherine was the last person but he's in the top five.

"Kalle! You look nice." Damon says in a sweet voice and I look at him irritated.

"Damon what the hell are you doing here?" I ask annoyed.

"Well...here's the the thing...I wanted to ask you a quick favor." Damon states innocently.

"Well ignoring the fact I wouldn't do any favor for you, I'm leaving town in like five minutes and trying to never come back, so looks like you are out of luck." I state.

"Wait, you're leaving?" Damon questions.

"My family and I have business out of town, so yes." I explain. "I would say we are all leaving, but Bex still has this obsession with becoming human so."

"Huh. Any other day I would be throwing a party and going off about how you're family has brought nothing but pain and misery to this town..."

"You and half the world." I say with a fake smile, stepping a little closer.

"But I seriously need your help." Damon states and I look at him interested. "I want you to turn Elena's emotions back on."

I raise my eyebrows at him and stare at him curiously, before I start laughing. "Oh, oh my god. This is a joke right?"

"I wish..." Damon trails off.

"Man. You must be real desperate to get her emotions back on." I say continuing to laugh. "Now, just one question. I'm the one who got her to turn it off so why would I get her to turn them back on?"

"Well I was going to plead with you wiith my love for her, but now a days you're as soulless as Klaus." Damon states and I give him a glare.

"You have exactly two minutes to state your case Damon, before I leave." I state, crossing my arms.

"Ok ok. Think about it this way. Right now Elena, doesn't care one bit about the cure, as well as not caring about pretty much anything. She already killed someone and almost kill both her best friends. Now imagine she comes back now, she will be so heartbroken about everything she has done, including burning her own house down by the way. Isn't that what you wanted this entire time? For her to suffer?" Damon questions and I look at him interested.

"What makes you think I don't want her to suffer more?" I question.

"You just told me yourself that you're leaving. Are you really going to come back to the town you hate, just to see what happened to Elena? Come on, I know you're not that petty." Damon states and he's right. I honestly forgot all about Elena until he came here.

"Hm. And you think I can turn her emotions back on."

"You turned them off, so I'm assuming you can get the emotional trigger to turn them back on. So...what do you say?" Damon asks me.

I look at him for a moment, thinking what I want to do. Then Elijah comes out of the house, and I see Damon get annoyed.

"Well, I was not expecting you." Elijah remarks.

"Trust me, don't want to be here. But I sadly, have no other choice." Damon states irritated.

"Hm." Elijah states, before looking down at me. "Ready to go sister?" I look at Damon for a few more seconds. He looks pretty hopeless and I am enjoying it. But I do want to end what I started. Especially since I plan not to come back to this wretched town.

"I actually have to tie up some loose ends before I go." Looking at Elijah, I state, and I can see a smile on Damon's face from the corner of my eye.
