Hoerk slept on his bed, a small den composed of various pelts of animals, sentient or otherwise. He seemed at peace untill he heard yelling through an intercom throughout Repton's base. 'Intruder Alert! Intruder Alert! Unauthorised personell at the flat side of the canyon' Hoerk darted awake, and watched as various fellow Raptors charged in each direction past his doorway. The severity the Raptors were acting with prompted him to start running too, turning and pacing down the corridor on his way to Repton's quarters.

On the balcony at Repton's quarters, Hoerk, Spitz, and Leugey all watched Repton as he looked out to the distance with a handheld telescope. 'It seems we have some Sky knights in our little nest' He said with an amused tone. He collapsed the telescope whilst chuckling, and turned to the three behind him. 'Bring them to me' He ordered.

Hoerk, Spitz, and Leugey all stood at attention and saluted, 'Yes sir!' they affirmed.

'They'll make a fine addition to this evening's stew' Repton joked, before dismissing his team and sending them on their way to their skimmers. All three of the Raptor team ran at full speed through the base.

'This will be fun! I haven't had Sky knight stew in a long time!' Leugey said as he ran.

'So make sure you catch them, you dumb sack!' Spitz scolded. Hoerk stayed wordless as the three approached their skimmers, all jumping on their own rides, and launching their loud rasping engines. Propelling them through the savannah at an urgent pace, guards in their tow.

Approaching the end of the canyon, Hoerk spotted the dust trail coming from two skimmers, one blue, the other purple. He motioned his hand to get the guards to keep moving towards the Terradon base and ignore the Sky knights at this present point in time. Leaving Hoerk, Spitz, and Leugey to pursue the pair down along the canyon on their own, seeing themselves outnumber the intruders. Giving chase, it seemed obvious the Sky knights had no idea where the Terradon base was, riding around near randomly. With the Raptors following them, the pair sped up, trying to lose them. The two Sky knights charged for a ramp to jump the canyon, and kept low, landing on the ground and still running with wings undeployed. The trio of Raptors jumped the gap, too, and deployed their wings, flying just above the tree line. 'How dumb are these guys?' asked Leugey, 'We have a perfect shot!'

Suddenly, a number of turrets appeared from the tree canopies, and fired on the three Raptors in the air. All of which tumbled back down to the Terra's surface. 'Come on' Spitz said dejectedly, 'Let's get back to base to get these fixed' Spitz pulled his skimmer up off of the floor and mounted it. Hoerk and Leugey both followed suit. Their engines all started, yet all seemed to limp the relatively short distance back to Repton's base.

At the foot of the base, the three Raptors all dumped their skimmers and walked into the base with their tails between their legs. One of the guards stood in their way, 'You are to see Repton. Urgently' the guard instructed. Hoerk, Spitz, and Leugey, all covered in soot and char, looked amongst themselves with fear.

Once lead up to Repton's throne room, Repton immediately let out audible and hostile growls He held his sword, but faced away from the three, trying not to break composure too quickly. The guard that took the three to Repton quickly disappeared and left the dirty and defeated Raptors to endure Repton's wrath.

'Shot down by my own defences?!' Repton shouted, turning towards the group 'I have a reputation to uphold!' Hoerk covered his face as Repton continued. 'I'll deal with the Sky knights myself! As for you three...' Repton waved his sword 'Remind me why I shouldn't use you for target practise!'

Leugey let out a short whine before quietly replying with 'Because Mother made you promise not to?' Smiling innocently as he gave his response.

'Sometimes, I can't believe we came out of the same nest...' Repton mumbled to Leugey. Repton started to hear a riproar of skimmer engines, and smiled. 'On second thought, you all are going to help pad out my party. We will hunt our prey together...'

Repton easily provided backup vehicles to Hoerk, Spitz, Leugey. Simply pointing and barking out names. Mounted, and kickstarted, Repton's party set off in pursuit of the Sky knights. They coralled the pair of intruders into a head on confrontation after a smile while of hunting. Approaching the trespassers, Repton drew his sword and taunted 'Welcome to Bogaton!' out to them. The many Raptors continued into the pair of unflinching Sky knights. Those Sky knights, however, reacted by retracting into a single file, with the blue skimmer in the front yanking the brakes, and spinning their bike on the front wheel. The distraction allowed them to pass through the Raptors unimpeded. Repton waved his hand afterwards, instructing the group to pull a wide bank and circle around.

The Raptors slowly gained om the Sky knights before launching their own assault. Hoerk called to Spitz on his right, 'Up the banks, jump high on them!' Spitz nodded and swung wide, with Hoerk swerving even wider. Spitz caught a mound and used it to jump his skimmer into the air. Drawing his weapon, he locked eyes on the female Sky knight in the purple skimmer and sounded a war cry. Hoerk hit a jump a few seconds later and drew his own weapon, although he helplessly watched as the female Sky knight leapt from her skimmer. She grabbed Spitz's weapon and used her momentum to throw him off his ride. Flowing from that, she landed on Hoerk's skimmer and scissor kicked him in the chin. The force of which throwing him off his skimmer, too.

Hoerk, tossed from his ride, landed harshly onto the floor, and rolled a few times. The force of which kept him on the ground for a few seconds before he could even try to move. His unmanned skimmer kept sliding through the air, and crashed into a boulder. Struggling onto his feet, Hoerk swayed from side to side on his walk to his bike, holding his side and scanning for damage that he could fix with the tools he had made sure to take from his old skimmer and stow away into his current one. arriving at his vehicle, Hoerk found it to be in a rough shape, but still fixable. Pulling it from the boulder, the frame was clearly bent and buckled. Pipes sheered, glass shattered, wings embedded on the bodywork. Hoerk sighed in desperation, popped the seat off, and started to rustle through his tools.

The Terradon labs had been using their periscopes to survey the carnage in as much detail as they could, although all anyone inside could tell was an elevated aggression in the Raptor guards. Beaker, still working on her own project, heard footsteps and a muffled voice from the secret door. She froze and felt an agonising fear, met with shaking in her hands. She was about to speak, frenzied in her mind, when Oppensaur called out to her and the other scientists in the labs. 'Calm down everyone! That's no Raptor!' He announced, holding his hands out and walking towards the door. He opened the peephole, noticing a young male Sky knight. 'What's the password' he hissed.

'Password? I'm the Sky knight you called for, I'm here to get you out!' The male replied through the door.

Oppensaur turned to one of the scientists next to him, 'He looks a little short to be a Sky knight' he pondered.

The door fell silent for a second until the male spoke again, 'Starling sent me, we have to hurry!'

'Starling?!' Oppensaur was in shock, he had expected her in person, but reasoned that she would at least know of the right people for the job. He relented and pulled the switch to deactivate the tesla coils. He opened the door and allowed the Sky knight, and his small, blue furred companion access.

Oppensaur silent guided the two guests across the labs and up to an area shielded by a large curtain. Pulling on its cord, the curtain retracted and revealed a hot air balloon. 'This is how we're going to get off of the ground' he explained. The guests both pulled faces of confused shock 'Sad, I know, but it's the best we could do with what little we have in here'

'Uhh, no. It's really...nice' The Sky knight politely replied, with unease in his voice.

'The REAL trouble is going to be getting off of the Terra' said Oppensaur, before walking over to a stack of crates and unrolling a map. The guests followed, too; looking at the map as well. 'The most impervious aerial defence network in all of Atmos!' He added, with audible excitement. 'I know, I designed it'

Beaker looked over at Oppensaur and rolled her eyes, knowing what she had to do in order for him to even finish the project in the first place. She decided to ignore the rest of the conversation, only really noticing the small, blue creature leave through the door with the map rolled up and under his arm. The creature stopped, looked at Beaker, smiling and pulling a thumb's up. Beaker reservedly smiled and waved back, before the creature continued to walk out of the labs.

A hour or so had passed, and Hoerk's progress on the skimmer had seemed to be going alright, most of the critical components seemed to have survived the wreck. He cranked a ratchet patiently as he started to hear a large whoosh of air from the distance, followed a volley of cannon fire, and then a seperate cannon's sound blasting and overpowering the turrets. Hoerk removed himself from the skimmer and looked around, seeing a large carrier flying close to the Terra, and destroying the turrets firing at it. Instinct told him to look over towards the Terradon labs, where he saw a large hot air balloon slowly surface from the canopies. 'No. No. No!' Hoerk shouted to himself, hastening the ratchets before jumping onto the skimmer and kickstarting it. The skimmer spluttered into life and pulled away with judders.

Hoerk came across Spitz, who had just started his own engine. 'Follow me! Call Repton to the woods a half tick west of the labs!' He yelled.

'Why? What's out there?' Spitz responded, following alongside Hoerk.

'I have reason to believe it's a secret entance!' Hoerk shouted. 'Call Repton over! I think they've all escaped!'

Hoerk built up speed as he careened through the savannah dirt paths, and turning off from the labs towards the westwardly woods. The engine coughed and spluttered as it screamed into the trees. Having a feel of the land, Hoerk stopped out of habit, right in front of the tunnel, and charged into it.

The end of the tunnel was met with the secret door open, and the defences turned off. Hoerk slowed to a walk, and gently entered the labs, to see the whole place in a frantic mess. Spitz followed close behind and immediately entered, walking towards the cupboards and closets. Hoerk took a second to look around, finding a pure white envelope on one of the counter tops. He opened it, and silently read its contents.
