You staggered back when you saw a large, over seven foot tall creature standing on the side, near the flickering flames.

His eyes were empty. Same with his gaping mouth that seems to be smiling without a choice but his light blue fabric brow expresses something else than a friendly smile. He was a light blue elephant.

"How did you get here?" He asked so aggressively, but you could not take him seriously with his dumpy voice. But that changes when the elephant places a hand-or more like a stumpy hand, on you and somehow lifts you off from the ground. Pulling you toward his trunk face. "You should leave, now," he said before taking you with him as he moved down the platform.

"Hey! Let me go!" You yelled at the elephant and thrashed your feet about as you tried to pry his stump from the front of your shirt. But he had a good grip on you as he slowly made his way down the platform. Stepping over rubble and debris as he made it on the other side with you before dropping you on the ground.

You quickly stagger back onto your feet as the elephant now has his back to you. You can see bones of his spine and rib cage poking beneath his light blue fabric, for he looked undernourished and possibly starve looking.

"You did this?" He asked you, pointing at the fiery disaster before you both. You realize that this was the train you were on earlier. Apparently, it had crashed when you lost control and somehow got knocked out when you lost your balance, hitting your head on something from behind. It is a miracle you even survived that at all. Then it just occurred to you as you frankly looked around.

"Poppy! Where is Poppy?" You asked out loud as you were about to jump down to search the burning, crashed train when this elephant creature stopped you.

"Poppy is alright," he told you, "She managed to escape, while you were unfortunately captured by CatNap."

"CatNap?" You repeated, assuming that was that thing's name that dropped you in that trash compressor. "And where is Poppy? Is she okay?" You asked.

"She is safe," he responded, "And you should be leaving." He said before turning away.

"Bubba?" called out a gentle, soft voice, "Who are you talking too?"

Both you and the elephant turn your attention to the voice, as you see something meekly peeking from the corner. The moment you made eye contact with the dainty thing, it lifted up its head high and gasps with delight.

"You're here!" she said as she quickly approached you and clapped your hands into her-hooves? They were soft and plush like. "You're here! You're finally here! Poppy's Angel!" she kept saying with joy in her voice.

She was tall and lean. Her white fabric looked dusty and smudged with discoloration. She had a small, silver spiral horn on top of a tuft of water green fabric that looked like a mane. She was a unicorn. But she still had the same black empty eyes and gaping smiling mouth like the elephant. Are these the same toy line creatures?

You have a confused look on your face. "Poppy's Angel?" you repeated, not sure why this tall, plush unicorn was calling you that.

The unicorn nodded. "Yes! I am the one that sent you the letter! Did you like my drawing?" she asked, looking at you with wide, void eyes.

"Wait, you were the one that sent me that letter?" You said in a baffling manner as the unicorn nodded happily with glee.

"Oh Crafty," sighs the elephant with a shake of his head, making his large floppy ears sway along with his broken trunk. "Why did you do such a reckless thing? You should have not dragged them into this situation and only made things worse for us all."

The unicorn-known as Crafty, turns to face her elephant companion. "Bubba," she calls him, "It's already gone to hell for a long time since the food supplies went low and we were all forced to feed off those bodies since the Hour of Joy. I can no longer stand it anymore and we have already lost three of our friends. I do not want to lose anymore and I fear CatNap has gone too far with his demands from the Prototype. We need to stop him!"

"Don't say his name!" Bubba hissed as he nervously looked around, "You know he has spies, right?" He lightly whispered.

"I don't care!" Crafty cried before turning her attention to you. "Please, can you help us?" she asked you in a plea as she knelt down to her knees and took a hold of your hand once more into her soft, delicate watery-green hooves.

You were taken aback by this as you looked at Crafty before turning your gaze to Bubba, who's void eye holes shift as if in motion he just rolled his eyes before turning away. "They cannot help us, if they even could try. You are sending them to their early grave," he said as he walked away to one of the control rooms. "I'll see if I can figure out how to get them out of here and far away from us."

Once Bubba disappeared, Crafty shook her head and kept her focus on you. "Don't mind him," she said with a sweeter tone than her companion, "he has been through a lot, like the rest of us and I have faith you can help us all, Angel."

The way she spoke to you touched your heart, somehow. You want to pull her close and tell her that everything is going to be okay now. But the other half of you, did not want to feel like you were going to give false hope either.

"I don't deserve to be called that," you softly told her, "I am no angel that you think I am."

Crafty's void eyes bend with sadness as she lower her head. "Please, I am begging you. You are truly our only hope we have for us to all survive," she said with a cracking sob in her voice. "I need you. We need you. You are the only one that made it this far to reach us, and if Poppy said we can trust you. I believe you have the capability to do what no one was able to do before. So please, for me and my friends, help us and I promise we will help you so we can survive and leave this place."

Seeing her so broken and sad was too painful for you to witness that it was unbearable to watch. You desperately want to reach out but you were also afraid to squeeze tight to her cause she looks so frail as she is. So you took the only option you had and lightly placed your hand over her head, not daring to touch her delicate silver coat horn and softly said, "Okay, I'll do it."
