On Today's Episode: The spies all head to Elphelt's next show in order to stop Phil and Sebastian from ruining it with their actual trump card, and it's going to be quite the show, with Elphelt and Ramlethal even providing the vocals. Can the spies shut down the evil music and let the real stars of the show shine?

Act 3: Passionate Encore

8:02 P.M. – Venice Beach
Concert Stage

The crowd was starting to get restless, wondering where the Valentine Sisters were. Thankfully, that appeared to be the only problem as the spies approached the area.

"Any sign of our resident baddies?" Melissa wondered.

"Nothing yet," Mat quipped. "I just hope they didn't pull a fast one on us..."

"Wait, wait, I think I sense them," Nick responded. "And they're approaching fast."

Nick glanced down over at the stage area, only to see another large stage-like apparatus approaching the venue quickly.

"What the hell are they riding?!" Alex gasped.

"Well, whatever it is, we're gonna put a stop to it," Haruka stated.

The crowd around the concert stage suddenly noticed the strange stage approaching them, and started gasping in shock when they realized what was probably about to happen.

"Well, well, if it isn't a crowd of ingrates," Sebastian laughed. "Here you are, waiting for a washout like those little punk sisters you idolize so much..."

Sebastian's rant was interrupted when someone in the crowd had the gall to throw a soda can into his face for that.

"You take that back!" the can thrower proclaimed. "The Valentine Sisters are incredible rock stars!"

"Ooh, you're going to pay for that one," Sebastian growled. "Phil, shall we crush these wretches?"

"Oh, yes, we shall," Phil laughed.

But before the Sinister Stage could go on the attack, the crowd all heard the tapping of a microphone that drew their attention.

"How's everybody doin' tonight?!" Elphelt proclaimed as she and Ramlethal stepped onto the main stage, much to the crowd's delight if their loud applause was any indication. "Sorry if Ram and I were a few minutes late, these has-beens weren't making it easy for us."

"Hey, Elphelt, what was that whole thing from earlier about your supposed 'husband'?" one fan asked.

"Oh, that was just its own silly thing that's already been resolved," Elphelt quipped. "Ram and I are just here to rock your socks off, so who's ready for our new single?!"

More cheering from the crowd was the answer.

"...are they ignoring us?!" Sebastian shouted.

The Sinister Stage attempted to fire on the Valentine Sisters, but Nick flew in to conjure a psychic barrier to deflect the blast.

"Eyes on the prize, you washouts," Nick taunted. "El, Ram, you just focus on your song! We'll handle these nutcases!"

Nick was infinitely glad, from what he could read of the crowd's thoughts, that everyone all seemed to think that this was just part of the show.

That would hopefully make their job that much easier.

Elphelt and Ramlethal picked up their microphones while the band behind them began to play the opening to their latest single.

("Extras" by Molly Daisy Scarpine plays)

The instant that Elphelt and Ramlethal began singing, Nick charged to attack the Sinister Stage, the rest of the spies joining in.

The Sinister Stage turned around to chase the spies, who were luring it away from the stage and the crowd so they could cut loose.

"Get back here, you punks!" Phil exclaimed.

"You'll have to catch us first!" Blaine laughed, having just rejoined the spies after taking the un-hypnotized fans to a safe location.

When they had gotten enough distance from the concert stage, the spies all turned around to face the Sinister Stage.

"Last sound check, you two," Bridget proclaimed. "Your shoddy stage is going down!"

"Oh, we'll see about that!" Sebastian cackled as the cockpit holding both Phil and himself was covered with a protective shield, and the Sinister Stage unfolded two long, claw-tipped arms and opened up its weapon ports.

"Let's do this, everyone!" May exclaimed as the spies all prepared for battle.

"Another kaiju, perhaps?" Mat wondered.

"I wouldn't say so," Nick replied.

"Nothing we can't take either," Sam quipped.

"Totally!" Haruka exclaimed.

"You with me here, Haruka?" Bridget stated.

"You bet," Haruka remarked.

"Let's rock!" Bridget exclaimed as she reached for her brooch. "Sonic Mode, online!"

The Sinister Stage attempted to fire lasers from its underside, but Bridget and Haruka were already airborne, Bridget flying into the air to take Haruka's hand and spin her around fast enough to toss her at the Sinister Stage, so that Haruka could punch the glass dome surrounding Phil and Sebastian with a Metal Masher Boxing Glove, causing cracks to appear in the dome.

"There's one for ya!" Haruka exclaimed.

"This isn't over yet..." Phil proclaimed.

"And we have not begun to fight either!" Sebastian added. "Try this on for size!"

The Sinister Stage opened weapon ports just above the "main stage" and started firing electric snare traps from the "spotlights".

"Hit the deck!" Melissa shouted as the spies all scattered to avoid the snare traps.

As Mat attempted to dodge through the snares, one of the Sinister Stage's claws snuck up behind him and snatched him up, lifting him closer to the stage.

"Well, well, look at what we have here," Sebastian chuckled. "If it isn't a little punk who doesn't know his place."

"Claws off my man, Sebastian," Sam growled. "You only get one warning."

"Oh, and what will you do if we don't?" Phil cackled.

The answer to that came courtesy of Nick, who landed on the stage and blasted the protective dome with a Final Shine Attack, finally shattering it so he could use a Zero Gravity to float both villains.

This gave Sam the opportunity to fly forward and slash through the arm holding Mat with a Platinum Credit Card.

"You okay, honey?" Sam asked.

"I've definitely been through worse," Mat chuckled.

"I'm tempted to say the weapon ports are breaking the rules of war, but I think we can get them out of commission," Alex remarked.

She remembered before when she took out Chet's machine by throwing a big rock into the barrel of the bazooka.

"May..." Alex called out.

She then pointed at her anchor, and May did not need Alex to do anything more to know what her game plan was.

"You bet, Alex," May quipped.

"Oh, look at the little bugs just flitting about," Phil quipped.

"You won't be laughing for long, buddy!" Alex exclaimed as she flew one way to draw the villains' attention. This allowed May to fly upwards and toss her anchor like a javelin into one of the Sinister Stage's weapon ports, causing it to crumple and collapse in on itself.

"Told ya so," May taunted as she called her anchor back to her hands via her Emergency Gadget Transporter.

"Maybe this will make things easier..." Nick stated to himself.

He was interrupted when Ramlethal and Elphelt went into battle and distracted Phil and Sebastian.

"On second thought, this'll work..." Nick remarked as he got his psychic powers working.

He then fired two shots at Phil and Sebastian, which knocked them over.

"Not so tough now, are ya?!" Dawn exclaimed.

"Oh, we're not done yet," Phil sneered.

Sebastian then hit the ground hard, which caused all the spies to fall to the ground.

May got up and hurled her anchor at the two villains again, only to see it hit an invisible wall.

"HA-HA-HA!" Phil proclaimed.

"Better think of something fast..." Sam told herself.

"Anyone know where that invisible wall's coming from?!" Nozomi shouted.

"I'm scanning now," RiCO answered from Nick's X-Powder.

"Stop flying around like annoying little gnats and die already!" Sebastian growled as he played a power chord on his guitar. In response, the Sinister Stage fired a barrage of lasers downwards towards Elphelt and Ramlethal.

Nick quickly raised his hand to project a psychic barrier to protect both of them from the lasers.

"This guy really doesn't want to stop being a jerk, does he?" Elphelt quipped.

"Weren't you two singing earlier?" Nick wondered.

"We kinda realized that we can't really continue our concert until this thing's out of the way," Ramlethal answered. "I'm just glad everyone thinks it's all part of the show."

"Got something!" RiCO exclaimed. "The generator that's powering that invisible wall is on the backstage of the machine. Thankfully, it looks like the wall's only protecting it from the front."

"Then I'll go take care of that," Nick stated. "You all just keep them busy for a little bit longer!"

'Oh, we'd be more than happy to oblige," May chuckled as the spies continued to attack the Sinister Stage, keeping Phil and Sebastian's attention on them so Nick could fly around to the rear of the machine and search for the generator.

Thankfully, it wasn't hard to spot it, so Nick blasted the generator into scrap with a Final Shine Attack.

May threw her anchor towards Phil and Sebastian, and this time it connected without the invisible wall to protect them, knocking both villains flat on their backs.

While the baddies were picking themselves up, Melissa and Dawn were flying around and firing Cyclone Blast Hairdryers into the weapon ports to disable them.

"Will you just stay down already?!" Blaine shouted.

"You're gonna have to do better than that!" Sebastian retorted.

"...well, since you insisted," Nick chuckled, flying into the air and stopping just above the Sinister Stage before spreading his hands out, his left hand surrounded by a neon-green glow, and his right hand surrounded by a golden yellow glow.

"Hey, can one of you get us up there?" Elphelt asked. "We've got some lumps we wanna deliver personally."

"By all means," Alex chuckled as she and Nozomi carried Elphelt and Ramlethal into the air.

"Special delivery, you chodes!" Nozomi laughed as she and Alex chucked Elphelt and Ramlethal down onto the Sinister Stage so they could confront Phil and Sebastian.

"Um, ladies, we don't need to get physical, do we?" Phil quipped, trying to save face in front of the two angry rock stars.

"After what you did, I think we do," Elphelt retorted, rushing forward and slamming her knee into Phil's "lower deck". While he was reeling from that, Ramlethal bum-rushed Sebastian and clocked him with a right hook to the face, dizzying him long enough for Elphelt to grab him and toss him into Phil, sending both villains collapsing off of the Sinister Stage.

Before they could hit the ground, May did the honors and trapped them with Electric Snare Bolas, since Nick was busy charging up. Alex and Nozomi once again ferried Elphelt and Ramlethal off of the stage so Nick could take it down.

"This show is canceled," Nick proclaimed, slamming his hands together, the glows around his hands combining into a sphere of silver light around both of his hands. "Shining Star Attack!"

Nick wrenched his hands apart, a trail of silver light connecting his palms, before clapping them back together to unleash his gathered energy in the form a large wave of silver light that thundered out like a tsunami, crashing into the Sinister Stage and exploding violently. The blast decimated the Sinister Stage and caused it to collapse to the ground, falling apart like so much wasted debris.

With the Sinister Stage destroyed, Nick floated down to the ground and glared at Phil and Sebastian, who simply scowled back at him.

"That's what I thought," Nick quipped. "Before I send you back to the slammer, you wanna explain why, specifically, you took advantage of Elphelt's past and tried to make her get hitched with me, of all people?"

"All right, so I wanted to try and ruin your relationship," Phil admitted. "Is that such a stretch when it comes to us?"

"Yeah, but you also need to remember that, as Nick's fiancée, I know him pretty well, well enough to understand that he would never cheat on me," Alex proclaimed. "So why don't you stuff that where the sun don't shine?"

Nick didn't give either villain a chance to retort as he raised his right hand to encase Phil and Sebastian inside of a psychic bubble, then flicked his hand upwards to send them both off to containment.

"And that's that taken care of," Haruka chuckled.

"And from the looks of it, the crowd loved the show," Bridget noted, since the crowd back at the concert stage was cheering very loudly.

"Oh, right, we've gotta get back to our performance!" Elphelt gasped. "We kept them waiting too long!"

"You're all more than welcome to join us," Ramlethal stated.

"Yeah, I think we'll do that," Alex chuckled. "It'd be a nice way to unwind after all of that craziness."

With that, the spies all followed Elphelt and Ramlethal back to the concert stage to enjoy the remainder of their show.

10:07 P.M. – W.O.O.H.P. Headquarters
Jerry's Office

"Marvelous performance as always, everyone," Jerry stated once the spies had returned to W.O.O.H.P. soon after the concert had ended.

"We're just doing what we've always done, Jerry," Bridget quipped.

"I kinda didn't expect Phil to try the whole 'ruining a relationship' spiel," Sam admitted. "But it thankfully didn't do jack or squat."

"Like it could ever," Alex chuckled as she hugged Nick.

"Well, I'm sure you're all tired after all of that, so how about I do the honors of sending you all back to Mali-U?" RiCO quipped as she waved her hand to send the spies back to Malibu University.

9:53 A.M. – The Spies' Penthouse
The Next Day

"It's nice to get a little quiet time," Nick told the others while having breakfast.

"Totally," Haruka quipped.

"Should we take our fun to the beach then?" Dawn suggested.

"I'm all for it," Alex giggled.

"Did anybody see Mat anywhere?" Britney wondered.

"I think he said he was attending one of the practices of the girls' volleyball team," Nick replied. "Our editor assigned us to profile one of the players on the other teams; I know who I'm profiling myself."

He didn't even look at Bridget as if to keep it a surprise to her.

"Pretty early for a practice session," Sam commented.

"I think they also have a game tonight as well," Nick told Sam after thinking things over for a bit.

"Understanding there," Bridget commented.

"But I think Mat's looking forward to basketball season," Nick added. "I'd be the same way with baseball."

"Just show a little patience, Brit," Alex quipped.

"I am," Britney stated. "Mat told me he'd meet up with me after he came back."

"Early lunch?" asked Melissa.

"That's what Mat said," Britney giggled.

10:08 A.M. – Malibu University
Gym Area

Mat was already speaking with his intended player to profile for the Mali-U Paper at the head coach's OK.

"Okay thanks," Mat told her as he decided to get some shots himself along with the sports editor.

Mat also observed what he could since volleyball season was coming up.

11:39 A.M. – Malibu University
Beach

Back with the rest of the spies, they were all enjoying the beach like they wanted to.

Simultaneously, Nick and Haruka were tanning together; for a change, Haruka didn't go with a two-piece and try to tease Nick like she had gotten used to doing.

"You're slipping," Nick teased.

"Hey, I can't do the same thing too often, right?" Haruka chuckled. "You'll see right through it."

"Too true," Nick quipped.

"Over to you, Clover!" Blaine exclaimed.

Currently, Blaine and Clover were teaming up on another beach volleyball game against Sam and Bridget.

"Nice try!" Bridget laughed as she spiked the ball back, clearly surprising Clover. "You know I'm too fast for that!"

Blaine quickly bumped the ball into the air and back towards Clover, who attempted to confuse Bridget by lobbing it over instead, only for Nozomi to see through it and counter with a spike back.

"Hey, I'm clearly the volleyball master around here!" Nozomi proclaimed.

In the meantime, Mat had came to the beach to look for Britney; he had some lunches with him after he was told earlier that they were all heading to the beach.

"Hey, where'd May go?" Melissa wondered.

"Oh, I see that little goofball," Dawn chuckled, pointing out to further in the water, where May was surfing along the nearby waves.

"Yeah, Souji, who's the master now?!" May laughed.

"Is Souji still giving her gump about that whole thing?" Britney asked as Mat walked up to her.

"I think he's just salty that May finally showed him up in something she used to suck at," Nick quipped.

"You're probably just glad that you can surf now, let alone simply swim," Nozomi giggled.

"...okay, point," Nick conceded as he watched May flipping around on her surfboard, that little showoff.

Unknown Time – Location Unknown

Nick instinctively raised a psychic barrier to protect himself that Alex unwittingly slammed headfirst into, since she couldn't stop herself due to building up too much momentum.

"Whoa, whoa, Alex, what's the problem here?!" Nick gasped. "Why are you trying to hit me?!"

"Why do you think?!" Alex shot back, quickly regaining her balance and jumping forward to strike at Nick again. "Look around you! Look at all of this! This mess is all that's left!"

As Nick continued to dodge Alex's wild swings, he thought back to what they had been doing before... all of this.

He remembered seeing the artifact.

He remembered punching it away from the bad guy that was trying to get his greasy mitts on it.

The last thing he remembered was... the artifact cracking.

Then, there was an enormous flash, and then... this.

"Do you get it now?!" Alex retorted. "This is all your fault!"

"How was I supposed to know it was going to do this?!" Nick shot back. "Would you rather I let that son of a bitch get his greasy claws on it?!"

"That doesn't make up for what you did, and you know it!" Alex proclaimed, aiming a laser pistol towards Nick.

Nick quickly started dodging out of the way of Alex's rapid-fire shots. He had to hide somewhere so he could figure out a way to fix this problem.

...if it even was fixable to begin with.

Totally Spies: Dreamy Revelator
~The End~

Final Note from Mat49324: Well, that's all for Dreamy Revelator. This was a fun project indeed for our season 9 opener. Hope you're still being entertained by these projects because we don't plan to stop anytime soon. This is all I really have left to say, but I do hope you stay tuned for our next project, which will be on my page. This one came to me after thinking back to an episode of N.C.I.S. that I remember vividly. It was the one where Anthony Dinozzo and Kate Todd had to be quarantined, and Dinozzo's symptoms got worse while Todd recovered. I'll leave it at that, and here's The Blue Time Ranger for anything he'd like to say.

Final Note from The Blue Time Ranger: And that's a wrap for our season premiere! Why yes, I am a fan of Guilty Gear, could you tell? Believe it or not, Elphelt's new character theme "Extras" was what inspired this whole shebang, because my mind just be like that at times. I even jotted the basics down on the notes app on my phone so I wouldn't forget it, because I thought of this in the middle of season eight, but decided to wait until now since we already had all of the rest of season eight planned out.

With that out of the way, here's what's coming up next on Totally Spies: The New Adventures! Unlike Mat, I have not watched N.C.I.S., but there is gonna be a bit of a sickness going around due to yet another unlikely teamup of villains. We'll see who that might be next time on Down With the Sickness, which will be posted by Mat. So, until next time, have a fantastic day, don't listen to the screeching morons, enjoy this preview of Down With the Sickness, and we'll see you next mission!

"All right, we're here, Jer," Sam proclaimed once all thirteen spies were in Jerry's office. "Who's on the loose this time?"

RiCO materialized in the room and waved her hand to change the office viewscreen to a mugshot of both Violet Vanderfleet and Max Eterminus.

"Oh, wonderful, it's the crazy bug man," May groaned. "After what he tried to pull with me, he'd better keep those grabby feelers of his at least ten feet away from me or he's getting the business end of my anchor."

"Do we have any clue to what they're up to?" Alex wondered.

"According to our recent scans, we've noticed quite a few people in Beverly Hills getting sick at around the same time we got word that Violet and Exterminus were on the loose," RiCO explained. "I'm willing to bet that it has something to do with that."

"That definitely sounds like something Violet would do," Haruka noted as the spies all collected their gadgets.

"I last spotted them somewhere on Rodeo Drive," RiCO answered. "Go out there and sock 'em one good, everyone!"

"That was always the plan, RiCO," Mat chuckled as the spies set off.

"Just when you think things are settling down, huh?" Melissa quipped as the spies kept searching Rodeo Drive for any sign of their targets.

"Such is the life of a spy," Haruka chuckled. "At least it's never boring, right?"

"Very true," Sam responded.

"...hey, do I hear screaming?" Blaine asked. "And... buzzing?"

"Oh, lord, that probably means one of Exterminus' super-bugs is terrorizing the people," Bridget groaned. "I did not miss those supersized creepy crawlies."

"Then let's go and play the roles of exterminators," Nozomi proclaimed.

Sure enough, when the spies reached the source of the disturbance they'd heard, they found people near Rodeo Drive being terrorized by what looked like a person that had been hideously mutated and gained bee features, much like the last time the spies had tussled with Max Exterminus.

"Ugh, I did not miss this, either," Alex shuddered.

To be continued in Totally Spies: Down With the Sickness...
