Chapter 2
Mandark woke up at 11:30 that night, as he smacked his lips, tiredly. He glanced around, seeing Autumn as she slept. "Darling". Mandark whispered, kindly with a soothing gentleness. Mandark tickled Autumn's cheeks, lovingly. Autumn woke up, as she looked upwards at Mandark. "Yes?". She asked, tiredly, as she grumbled, agitated. "It's time to wake up, sweetie". "It's time for dinner". "We haven't eaten yet, and it is very late". Mandark whispered, kindly with a gentle soothingness behind a softened voice. "Let's go eat something". "I have some spaghetti, there's some fried rice with shrimp in there, I have so many wonderful things". "We can eat whatever, and however we like". Mandark whispered, gently with kind soothingness. Autumn nodded, as she tried getting up from the couch. Mandark helped her get up. "There we go, we'll just walk in, we'll sit right down….we'll have something amazing to eat". "I think I might have some fried rice in here….who knows". Mandark muttered, as he took some fried rice from the fridge.
"You slept for a long time, honey". "You were emotionally exhausted, hmm?". Mandark said, gently with kind soothingness. Autumn nodded. "I was really tired, and I miss my mom and dad". "I miss being up North at home". "It was easiest up there….it was actually quite nice". "I kind of want to go back home….Florence's family is up there". Autumn said. "Don't you like it down here?". "The weather is much warmer". Mandark said, kindly with gentle soothingness. "Besides, I would miss you….I need you". "You're my best friend, and my knightess in shining armor….I would be lost without you". Mandark said, gently with soothing kindness.
"I don't know….I kind of…I'm not…I don't have anybody down here". "And if one really thinks about it, I'm failing…I'm not succeeding". Autumn said. "Why are you failing?". "What's something you've failed at?". Mandark asked gently with a soothing, kind voice. "I don't know". Autumn replied. "Why would you make a statement like that without any logic to justify it?". "You're not making sense". "You haven't failed, sweetie". "You have 2 college degrees, you have a nice home, you're succeeding". "You're not failing". "If you failed, you'd be in a worse place". "But you're not failing". "You're succeeding". "You're doing very well….and there's nothing to be ashamed of". "You're doing wonderfully now". "I know it may sound intrusive…like I'm not listening…but you're doing well now". "Please don't be ashamed, honey". "Please". Mandark said, kindly with a soothingness behind his voice. "I don't want you to be ashamed". "I want happiness, I want satisfaction". "I need those from you…because you mean so much". Mandark smiled as he spoonfed Autumn some fried rice. "The truth is…I want you". "You may not know my feelings yet….however, I'm in love with you". "I've always been in love with you….and I need us more than anything". "I have such deepened, and strong feelings for you that I've always had….and when I see you, all I can feel is love". "I've been divorced, and remarried, and I've had several to many kids with 15 women I've gotten pregnant, but I see something far more reliable, and stable with you". "I see someone with such a purity and such a devotion, I feel so honored". "I know it may seem unprofessional, but I've had feelings for you for quite a while". "And what I possess, I need in so many ways". "You've given me strength and hope". "You're so wise….our love gives us many things…but it gives me you". Mandark whispered in a gentle, softened, soothing voice. "Thank you". Autumn replied.
"Please acknowledge this…and take from it what you will". "If you're not in love with me, I understand". "But please…..at least acknowledge this….and try to be happy". Mandark whispered, gently with soothing kindness. Autumn nodded, as she ate the bite of fried rice. "I am happy…but right now, I'm not looking for anyone". "I kind of….I still miss my late husband, and I'm not ready to fall in love again". "I don't know when I'll be ready…but certainly not now". "Thank you". Autumn said, as she ate her fried rice. Mandark continued feeding her.
"That's ok….I'll wait if necessary, and if possible". Mandark whispered, kindly with gentle soothingness. "There's nothing else….I'll wait for as long as you want". "Trust me". Mandark whispered, gently with soothing kindness. "You know I'll always wait for you, baby". Mandark smiled a kind, gentle smile, kissing Autumn's cheeks, kindly. "I know". Autumn replied. Mandark smiled a warm, sappy, loving smile as he nuzzled Autumn gently. "I love you so much, baby". "I always love you….always". Mandark whispered, kindly. Autumn nodded, as she felt the nuzzles, and the kisses. "Thank you for giving me everything I could possibly need". "Everything I could want". Mandark whispered, gently with kindness. "Mmmm". Mandark hummed a gentle hum, as he touched foreheads with Autumn, whispering to her. Autumn nodded, as she finished her fried rice, drinking milk from her sippy cup, gazing an Autistic gaze upwards at the ceiling.
Her gaze was Autistic as she looked upwards, experiencing a catatonic stupor. She was catatonic now, indifferent, phased out, as she gazed upwards, sighing at periods. It was like she wasn't even present.
"Autumn". Mandark said, in a kind, calm, gentle, soothing voice. His voice was nourishing…like a therapist's voice. "Autumn". He repeated gently with calm, soothing, softened nourishment. Autumn turned her head, as she felt drool come down her chin. "It's time to swallow for me, darling". Mandark whispered, gently with calm soothingness. Autumn did as instructed, and swallowed when she heard the prompt.
"Very good". Mandark said, soothingly with gentle kindness. "Have you finished your meal, honey?". Mandark asked, kindly with gentleness. Autumn nodded. "Yes". she replied.
"That's very good". "You did such an excellent job eating". "That fried rice I make is delicious, isn't it?". Mandark said, soothingly with softened kindness. Autumn nodded. "Yes". she replied.
"Yes, I like that fried rice as well". "It's of a delicious sort…something I'd love to try". Mandark said, in a kind, gentle, soothing voice. "I usually get that kind at Publix". "It's an excellent brand". Mandark smiled as he cleaned up the fried rice bowl. "Hmmm, lovey, now it's time for bed". "Let's get your medicine before we head in". Mandark suggested, gently with soothingness. Mandark opened up Autumn's medicine containers, pouring 3 cups of syrupy medicine. He readied the needle for her medicinal injection.
Mandark smiled a gentle, kind, and loving smile as he gave Autumn the medicine. "There you go, there you go, coochie". "You're doing so well". Mandark said, kindly with gentle softness. Mandark observed as Autumn drank her medicine. She sat, as Mandark handled the medicine injection. "There we are, nice and ready for bed". Mandark said, gently. Mandark refilled Autumn's sippy cup with almond milk before heading upstairs.
He tucked her into bed, as he adjusted her pillows for her. "There we go, darling". "All nice and snug, baby". "You got your medicine, you're nice and comfy". "I'll be in the other room if you need me". "Let's see…which television channels are you interested in?". Mandark asked, gently with softened kindness. "ABC". "I want to see the 10:00 news". Autumn said. Mandark changed channels with the remote.
"But sweetie, the news is so bad, and scary". "It's sad to see the news". "You don't want that before you go to sleep, do you?". Mandark asked, gently with soothing softness. "I guess not". Autumn replied. "Let's watch the Daytona State College channel". "They have the pottery show, and the jewelry program". "They have those to look at". "We don't need scary news". Mandark said, kindly with gentle soothingness. Mandark changed the channel to DSCC. Daytona State College.
Mandark adjusted his glasses. "Mmm, do you need some water, or something to snack on while you watch T.V.?". "Like a bedtime snack?". Mandark asked, kindly with soothingness, as his collared shirt and tie was all messed up. Executive Mandark took a long nap.
"No, I'm ok". "I have my milk". Autumn said. "I'd like to have real milk one day". Autumn's curiosity peaked.
"Yes, I'm aware…but real milk is bad and scary too". "There's no need to consume dairy…dairy is scary". "You remember from the 35 times I've told you". Mandark said, gently with soothing, kind, softness to a nourishing voice. "Dairy is scary". Autumn repeated, sighing.
"Yes, and no cheese, no yogurt, no ice cream, no mashed potatoes, or twice baked potatoes, nothing with dairy, casein, or gluten in it". "That's my one and only rule". Mandark said, kindly with gentle, soothing softness. "We are permitted almond and tofu products, though". Autumn said. Mandark pulled the sheets over Autumn, tucking her in, properly.
"You are exactly correct, darling". "Or Oat products". "Or soy products as well". "But nothing with casein or gluten…and if it's wheat, we don't eat". Mandark reminded, gently with soothing softness, as he raised a finger.
"Yes". Autumn replied, as she drank her almond milk. "Alright, lovey…now that we're comfy….it's time to say goodnight". "Goodnight, a kiss from me to you…a kiss to the stars, and heavens above….with eternal love….goodnight". Mandark said, kindly with soothing softness as he did this nightly ritual with Autumn, while she fell asleep. Autumn fell asleep, as she watched T.V. while Mandark undressed in the other room, climbing into bed. But not before giving Autumn 2 kisses each on both cheeks, and 2 kisses on the forehead, and a nuzzle. "Goodnight baby". He said in a soothing, kind voice. And he was off to bed, as well.
Mandark heard his iphone ring, as he picked it up, hearing lead nurse practitioner Mung Daal, answer the phone.
"Hey, what's up?". Mandark asked, as he settled into bed. "Nothing much…I just wished to know how your day with Autumn went". "How was she today?". Mung asked, on the other end.
"She was pretty normal as young adults go". "She was fussy today, however". "We've been having trouble with compliance, emotional regulation, anxiety, and problem solving skills". "Today was more of a rough day than anything". "I did what I could to calm her, and ease the burdens for her". "She seemed very emotional, very pensive today….which is common for Autistic adults with a condition as severe as hers, she seemed very agitated, very melancholy…she just isn't happy". "It could be residing grief from losing her husband, or from losing her parents, it could be a side-effect of the medication she's on….she just seems very resentful, and very darkened in her spirit". "She was also inattentive today, she wasn't focused, she just seemed off, I think maybe we need to take a different approach to her care". "She needs something more specified". Mandark explained.
Mung replied, clearing his throat with a resounding "mmm".
"Well, in any case, an adult with her condition has a lot of burdens to bear". "She is struggling with this genetic condition, and she is struggling with her grief…her emotions are bound to become negative, and spiteful". "I think as long as we lavish Autumn with much more attention to her special needs, and her dietary restrictions, we'll be in good shape". "She is widowed…so maybe a male enigma is complementary to her". "She needs the attention and unwavering support….a man's guiding hand is what she needs". Mung explained.
"She is special needs, so as long as we cater to the proper handling of her restrictions, she'll be fine". "Does she still display symptoms of Catatonia?". Mung asked. "Yes, she does every now and again…which is why I try to keep her engaged in something". "She needs an activity, or a task which will keep her focused". "We usually do puzzles, she'll read, I'll help her study, I'll do various things alongside her, that engage her mind". Mandark explained. "Mm, keeping her occupied is a good thing". "She needs the occupation to keep her mind off of things". Mung replied. "Yes, indeed". Mandark replied. "Hmm, what you mentioned before about a man's guiding hand, and gentle enigma". "What if I wooed her a bit….bellied in the thrush of romance, and gentleness". "That could be a good care technique…perhaps?". Mandark suggested.
"It would be….any woman with an aggressive, nonchalance to her needs the passive hand of a man". "Be as romantic, and equivocal with her as you possibly can". "She needs it much more…since she is widowed". Mung Daal explained. "A widowed woman with special needs can be lonely, as with everyone else". "Give her some positive reception, and some love". Mung explained, as Mandark nodded.
"Yes, keep up the good work….she might not have as many freedoms, as others might, but she'll be well-taken care of". Mung stated. "Yes, I see". Mandark replied.
Mandark and Mung talked about Autumn's health numbers for the day, as well as her Dailies, all before Mandark hung up the phone, and put himself under the covers. He fell asleep, ready to face the next day. Or maybe the rest of the night, if Autumn couldn't sleep, and woke up, acted up at some point. But he made it through. Luckily.
The next morning, Autumn woke up as she tossed and turned in bed. She rubbed her eyes a bit before she closed them again and fell back asleep.
"Darling". Mandark said, gently with soothing kindness. Mandark came into Autumn's room as she looked upwards at him. She sniffled.
"It's time to wake up and have some breakfast". "And it's time to receive medicine". "Let's wake up now, coochie". Mandark prompted gently with a soothing, kind, softened voice. Mandark smiled as he rubbed Autumn's back kindly. "I don't want to wake up". Autumn said.
"Would you like 5 more minutes?". Mandark asked gently with soothingness. Autumn nodded as she drank from her sippy cup. "I want to have my Oatmeal". Autumn protested.
"Yes, we'll make Oatmeal in time….we'll have Oatmeal, we'll have Oat Milk, we'll have some brown sugar for oatmeal, it'll be fun". Mandark whispered, gently with kindness. He continued rubbing Autumn's back. He lifted her nightgown in order to rub her back.
"Mmm, how does your oat milk taste, coochie?". Mandark asked, lovingly with soothingness. Autumn nodded. "It tastes fine". Autumn replied. "I thought your Oat Milk could use a bit of chocolate in it…gluten and casein free chocolate, so I put some in it". Mandark said in a gentle, loving and incredibly soothing softened voice.
"Please do enjoy". Mandark said, gently with soothing kindness. Autumn nodded as she drank some oat milk while Mandark tied a bib around her neck. "There we go, there we go, coochie". "It's time for our favorite….Oatmeal with brown sugar". Mandark whispered gently with kindness. Mandark tickled Autumn's cheeks, giggling along with her. "Let's see….and Nala's received her meal, she's good to go". Mandark said in a gentle soothing voice. Mandark prepared the Oatmeal, setting it down in front of Autumn.
"You slept through the night which is very delightful". "You're getting so much better with your sleeping patterns….I'm proud". Mandark said, soothingly with gentleness. Mandark took a spoonful of oatmeal, feeding it to Autumn. "Thank you". Autumn replied.
"I sometimes love seeing you sleep". "You look so beautiful and radiant when you're at peace". "It warms my heart to see my baby at peace". Mandark said in a soothing, gentle and kind, relaxed voice. "You are my amazing baby….I am so thankful for you….when I see you, it delights me so". "You've made me into a better man….and with that, I'm thankful for you". Mandark said, soothingly with gentle kindness. Autumn nodded.
"I've been wondering for a while now….when you were a baby….you came from Ukraine". "You were just a few moments old when you were born to your birth mother". "She was a beautiful woman….she had brown hair…much like you have….she had beautiful brown eyes….she was a wonderful woman". "She loved you most". "When you were just a baby baby girl, she held you in her arms, let you suckle at her breast, and she kissed your tiny head while singing you a song". "You both had such an unbreakable bond….a bond that you will subconsciously cherish for the rest of time". "Though she passed". Mandark whispered in a gentle, kind, loving and nourishing, soothing voice.
"You were all alone in the orphanage….you were trying so hard, and you survived….in every aspect". "You are a beautiful person and I will always love you". Mandark whispered, gently with a relaxed, soothing voice.
Autumn nodded. She ate every bite of oatmeal that was fed to her.
"What kinds of things didn't they do in the orphanage?". Autumn asked. "Well, unlike birth mom…they never hugged you, they never kissed you, they never really nourished you the way they should've". "Babies need nourishment to survive". "When the brain is still young, and still forming, contact, touch, nourishment, and interaction is vital in order for synapse connections to be made". "The brain needs love, support, nurturing and healing from a wound in order to develop normally". "Gray matter formation is vital for nutrients to be distributed and for neurons to strengthen….love makes a healthy heart and a healthy brain". "When there's a healthy brain….there also lies a healthy thinking style and normal development". Mandark explained in an incredibly relaxed and soothing, gentle, and softened voice. "You never had anything you needed at the time".
"That, and you were living with this condition….you were doing the best you could with what little medical care and resources they had". "You are a survivor….in every aspect of the way". "You've survived so much, and you've beat the odds….you are the strongest person I've ever met". Mandark said in a soothing, nourishing, and gentle voice. Mandark smiled as he kissed Autumn's cheeks gently. Autumn nodded.
Autumn ate her oatmeal as she swallowed. "Did I do ok when I came to the U.S.?". Autumn asked. "After survival, you learned to walk, you learned to chew and swallow as well as speak…you did extremely well…I am very proud of you". Mandark said, gently with soothingness. "You developed on schedule with a few minor setbacks". "But this had more to do with your health condition than it did your intelligence". "You are a very bright young woman". "You can do anything you wish….and you have". "I know it was hard in the beginning, and it generally is harder for children adopted overseas". "Some internationally adopted children are enrolled in special education programs". "When there's a lack of nourishment in infancy, differences in development occur, and it's not the fault of these children". "It's no one's fault as long as these children are loved and protected". "Sometimes caring for a child overseas is difficult….but with the proper love, nourishment and care….children can rise to their full potential". "Being a caregiver to a newborn or an orphaned infant is the toughest job anyone can do….but it's very rewarding as well". "You are loved and you are appreciated".
"Your birth mom loved you so much….there was just an unbreakable bond of strength between the both of you….and what she possessed was the infinite amounts of love and kindness to call you hers". "Even everyone in the orphanage loved you….the truth is….they didn't have the resources to find adequate care….Ukraine can be a poor country….but you were nurtured….in the best way they possibly could". "There was effort and everyone did their best". Mandark said in his gentle, soothing, incredibly relaxed and deepened sultry sexual voice. "you are someone amazing….you truly are….you are a strong, devoted individual….and my love for you is always". Mandark's voice soothed Autumn as she ate. "I know". "Thank you…you tell me everyday Mandark". Autumn said. Mandark smiled a kind smile. "That's because I just love you so much". "There is no fear between us….we can be as free as we wish…because I love you….unconditionally". "Anything you're insecure about…any doubts you might have can disappear….because my love for you is eternal". "I love you no matter what". Mandark said, soothingly with gentle kindness. Autumn nodded as she finished her Oatmeal, Mandark spoonfed her one last bite before he wiped her chin.
Autumn nodded as she looked up at Mandark, drinking her milk. "Thank you…I love you too". Autumn replied. Mandark smiled as he kissed Autumn's cheeks, lovingly. "Yes, indeed our feelings are mutual". Mandark said, gently with kindness. Autumn nodded. Mandark smiled as he helped Autumn from her chair. "Let's see if we can take a bath for a while…or a shower". "You've just had graduation for your Bachelor's degree". "You need to rest for a while….school was tumultuous, wasn't it?". Mandark said, gently with soothingness. "It was kind of hard". Autumn said. Mandark smiled a gentle, loving smile. "Yes, school is a bear". Mandark said, gently. "But you have a Bachelors in Economics….that's my girl". Mandark smiled a wise, gentle smile as he kissed Autumn's cheeks.
Mandark and Autumn went upstairs as they went into the bathroom where Autumn was assisted in getting undressed. Mandark put new pajamas in her bathroom. Autumn had a walk in tub with a small accessible door that closed in order for the whole tub to be filled. The shower head was above. It was a walk in tub shower.
Mandark filled the tub with warm water….that was evenly hot and poured something in the tub. "This is a cherry blossom rosebud bath bomb". "This is used to create a luscious scent and a relaxing aura while you bathe". Mandark said, gently in his soothing voice.
"Ok". Autumn replied. Mandark smiled as he shampooed Autumn's hair at the top. He had on a short sleeved collared shirt with a necktie and pocket protectors. He was a nerd.
"How did you sleep last night, coochie?". "Did you have a nice rest?". Mandark asked soothingly with gentleness. "I did". Autumn replied. "That's beautiful, coochie". "I'm very happy for you". "How does your breast feel?". "Does it feel better?". "I know you told me it felt a bit tender before". "It feels ok now?". Mandark asked gently with soothingness. "It feels fine". Autumn replied plainly.
When Autumn rinsed her hair, Mandark washed her back with a lufa and some lavender soap. "Do you feel alright now?". "Your body doesn't feel sore or tender?". Mandark asked, kindly with soothingness. Autumn stared in an Autistic gaze as she sat, staring straight ahead.
"Autumn". Mandark prompted kindly with gentle soothingness. Autumn turned her head, seeing Mandark. "Does your body feel ok?". Mandark asked, gently with a soothing voice. Autumn nodded. "Very good". "I thought it might feel alright". Mandark said, gently. "I'm almost 40…of course, my body feels sore….I'm just an old man in a young body". Mandark chuckled as he said this.
Autumn nodded as she looked around. "Hmm, let's see coochie". "Are you running low on milk?". "You had some left over from last night….and some from breakfast…you need some more for today it seems". "Let's get you some more milk, coochie". Mandark suggested, gently with kind soothingness. Autumn nodded as she sat in the tub, enjoying the warmth of the water.
Mandark refilled Autumn's sippy cup with almond milk, as he brought it back in…along with her oral medicines. "Here you go, honey". "Medicine time". Mandark said, gently with kind, softened soothingness as he poured her medicines into different cups. Autumn drank each cup, as she drank from her sippy cup afterwards. "There you are, honey". "All nice and set for bedtime shortly". Mandark said, gently with softness. Autumn nodded as she sucked on her sippy cup, drinking some milk. Mandark smiled a gentle, loving smile as he kissed Autumn's cheeks. He knew from Autumn's fragile, innocent, young look that she was an orphan. She was special needs as well. She needed extra care and extra time for nourishment. Mandark knew she needed guidance in order to thrive….and almond milk in order to be in a successful place. It was going to be ok. In some ways.
Mandark smiled a kind, gentle and nourishing smile as he washed Autumn's back, gently. "How was your Oatmeal this morning, darling?". "Did it prove to be tasty?". Mandark asked gently with kind soothingness. "It was fine". Autumn replied, as she sat in the tub with her sippy cup.
"That's lovely honey". "I thought the oatmeal tasted nicely as well". "I was really enthusiastic about this brand of oatmeal". "It was a nice brand I was really into for a while". "I've eaten a few brands of oatmeal myself, and there hasn't been a better one than this one". "Kruger's is such a nice marketplace for different organic things". "I've gotten oat milk, Quaker Oats, as well as many other things at Kruger's, and I've saved a lot of money doing it". Mandark said, gently with kind soothingness.
"I think bi-monthly I've saved over 90 dollars at Kruger's, and it's been a nice point of interest". Mandark said, kindly with gentle soothingness.
"The groceries you buy are nice". "I liked the gluten free pasta you get, too". "It's nice". Autumn said. "Yes, the Gluten free pasta is nice as well". "As well as the lemonade….and their vitamins are nice as well". "You might not know too much about this…but….I actually take multivitamins". "I take one for my eyesight, there's one for my bladder, there's one for my joints…once a man turns 40, there's a plethora of multivitamins he can take to keep his health in check". "A man needs his vitamins to keep everything working properly". Mandark said, gently with soothing, kindness.
"You're almost 40?". Autumn asked. "Yes, indeed I am". "I turn 40 on Tuesday". "You just turned 23….you're a baby still….an infant still". Mandark joked, kindly with softness.
"I'm an old man, and you're a young lovely maiden". "A knightess in shining armor". "You and I make quite a couple…don't we?". Mandark said, soothingly with softened gentleness. "That is true….we certainly do". Autumn said. "Well, you're my lovely knightess….mine and mine only". "There's no one I love more than you". Mandark said, in a soothing, gentle, softened voice. "My beautiful angel". Mandark smiled a gentle, kind smile as he kissed Autumn's cheeks lovingly. Autumn nodded.
She sat in the tub for a while, sucking on her sippy cup, as she drank some more almond milk. Mandark smiled a creepy smile as he supervised from a safe distance. He marked some notes down in his phone. Autumn made some Autistic sucking noises as she drank from her sippy cup.
"Darling". Mandark said, soothingly with gentleness and kindness. Mandark spoke with an unnerving, sultry, orgasmic Air to his voice. "The orphanage hurt you worse than we thought…didn't it?". Mandark muttered this as he looked over at Autumn while she sat in the tub. Autumn made sucking noises as she seemed catatonic at this point.
Mandark sat nearby as he typed in some notes and observations on his phone. Autumm looked around as her brown eyes…round with human essence that made her seem like a trier who put in effort, looked red underneath. Like she had been crying.
Mandark disappeared into the other room, as he put some folded clothes away in Autumn's drawer. Mandark smiled a gentle, kind smile, returning to the bathroom. "Autumn". Mandark prompted in a soothing, gentle, kind, softened voice. Mandark's collar stuck up around his neck. Autumn didn't respond as she still sucked on her cup. "Autumn, darling". Mandark said, soothingly with gentle softness and kindness. Autumn looked upwards as she heard her voice. "Yes?". She asked.
"It's time to end the bath". "We are getting out and dried off now….unless you would like 5 more minutes?". "What would you like to do?". Mandark asked, in a gentle, soothing and kind voice. He was like a spider with a human face on its back, where the mouth moved, and he spoke to Autumn with his creepy, painted lips. He remained small on the wall, but he controlled her every move and every aspect, when his legs didn't slip. Like a "Samurai Jack" or "Johnny Quest" villain.
"No…I can get out now". Autumn replied. Mandark smiled a gentle smile, a wormy, insect, wench-like smile behind his collared shirt. "That sounds like a brilliant plan". "Let's get you out and get you on the couch with some blankets". Mandark said, gently with soothing kindness. Mandark drained the tub, as he helped Autumn out, and into a drying mat. He wrapped a warm towel around her, drying her off. Autumn drank from her sippy cup, as she felt the warmth of her new pajamas that had just come from the dryer.
"You're all set, coochie". Mandark said, gently with kind soothingness. "Now, let's get you downstairs, and relaxed on the couch". "You have your milk as well". Mandark dressed Autumn, while drying her hair. He kissed both of her cheeks, and her forehead, as he helped her down the steps. He helped her to the couch, setting some pillows up for her on the front part where she would lay her head.
"Ready to lay down, and get some rest?". Mandark asked gently with kind soothingness. Autumn nodded as she laid down, while Mandark put a gentle blanket over her. "Sleep well, baby girl". "Let's put on something educational we like". "How about the program on fossils?". Mandark asked gently with soothingness. Autumn nodded as she put her head down, drinking from her sippy cup. Mandark kissed both of her cheeks, lovingly. "You're so calm today, I love it". "You haven't been calm in a while….you've generally been moody and tired". "Let's get some rest". Mandark said, gently as he gave Autumn her injection, as he set up the pillows for her on the couch.
Mandark kissed Autumn on both of her cheeks, as he nuzzled her as well. "If only you knew my true feelings". "My true love for you…for us". Mandark said, kindly with gentle, loving soothingness. Mandark whispered, as he kissed Autumn's ears. Autumn slept, as she kept her eyes closed. Mandark smiled a gentle smile, as he sat in his easy chair. Mandark fell asleep in his easy chair again….while Autumn slept. It was a relatively easy evening.
