"Whiskey, no ice," Genetta said.
"Thanks, sunshine," Dean said.

Dean grinned at Genetta and took a sip of his whiskey. He let out a sound of satisfaction and held up his thumb.

"That's the good shit right here," Dean said.

Randy chuckled behind Genetta, and she turned to look at him.

"What?" Genetta asked.
"I just wonder why you're still here," Randy said.
"What do you mean?" Genetta asked.
"You're living with a hot guy that you're clearly in love with. You have money to retire yourself and two more generations if you want to. Even your not-boyfriend boyfriend has friends that clearly approve of you," Randy said.
"Love her to bits," Dean interfered.
"So what are you still doing here?" Randy asked.
"Maybe I like this job," Genetta said.
"Who the hell likes being a bartender?" Randy chuckled.
"Maybe I'll buy the bar then if you dislike it that much," Genetta said.
"No, the bar's my baby," Randy smirked. "But seriously, Genetta, it's been a month now. I've gotten to know your not-boyfriend boyfriend by now and he's a really cool dude. What's holding you back?"
"Will you please stop calling him that?" She asked.
"What?" He asked teasingly. "Not-boyfriend boyfriend? You're seconds away from getting into his bed and never leaving again."

Genetta looked up and saw Seth come walking back from the toilet. He sat down next to Dean and sent a warm smile to Genetta.

"Seth, let me ask you something," Randy said.
"Shoot," Seth said.
"Don't you dare," Genetta said.
"When a man and a woman love each other," Randy started.
"Randy!" Genetta snapped. "Stop!"
"No, I wanna hear this," Seth said.
"Me too," Dean chuckled.
"When they love each other very much but can't seem to figure out how to tell each other," Randy said. "Should their friends try to force them to open up or should they just keep waiting it out to see if they ever figure it out on their own?"

Seth moved his eyes from Randy and over to Genetta who was blushing.

"What's this about?" Seth asked.
"Say, if I have a friend who's in love with a guy but hasn't told him," Randy said. "And he..."
"For fuck's sake!" Genetta cut off Randy.

Genetta grabbed Seth's shirt, leaned over the bar, and kissed him.

"Guess the answer is to let them figure it out on their own," Dean said.

Genetta raised a middle finger at Dean and heard both him and Randy laugh out loud. She broke the kiss and smiled warmly at Seth.

"About time," he said.
"Were you waiting for me?" She asked.
"I've been waiting for years," he said.
"You could have kissed me first," she said.
"It wouldn't have been as magical," he smiled. "And it felt important to let you take the first step."
"It was important. Thank you," she said.

He leaned in for another peck and moved his mouth to her ear.

"I love you," he whispered.
"I love you too," she whispered back.

She pulled back and turned to look at Randy who was grinning at her.

"I'm here because I love this job," Genetta said. "One more word out of you and I'm opening a bar across the street and steal all your customers."
"Not a peep," Randy chuckled.
"Good," Genetta looked at Seth again. "I get off work in an hour. You're staying sober so you can take me home."

Seth smirked at her and leaned closer over the bar.

"What happens when we get home?" He asked.
"Wouldn't you like to know?" She smirked back.
"I would," he said.
"You'll have to wait and see," she said.
"Mean," he pouted.
"All good things come to those who wait," she said. "But I promise you it will be worth it. You better prepare for the night of your life."
