Memory of Long Ago…

"Pip. Pip!"

A little boy with brown hair and blue eyes woke up to see an older boy with blond hair but… everything else was blurry to him. The boy was in a place made of wood and stone; a tad chilly but livable. Everything was fuzzy but it was a sweet place, a little dark inside but bright outside. The boy could barely see anything else but the other boy… Wait that other boy… he knows that other boy, he-he misses him, loved him. That boy, the other boy who was older than him was his-.

"Pip, come on! The sun has already risen, and everyone is waiting!" The boy kept calling for 'Pip' who was looking at the older child with realization.

"Caleb? Brother?" Pip voiced, slowly approaching the blurry figure, who seemed to be getting further away.

"Pip, we need to go! Everyone is waiting for us! We don't want to cause a stir before the congregation comes!" He kept calling out, sounding further and further away.

"Brother! Brother, wait!" Pip pleaded as he tried to run towards his older sibling, but no matter how fast or how much he pumped his puny legs towards his only family… he couldn't get any closer!

In fact, he was only getting further and further away!

"Brother! Brother!"

But his brother was still getting further and further away!

"Everyone is waiting for us, Pip! Everyone is waiting for us!"

"BROTHER!"

"Pip! Pip! Everyone is waiting for us, Pip! Everyone is waiting for us!"

In the Real world…

"Belos. Belos. Philly." Blue kept nudging until he stirred from his rest.

"Huh? W-what?" The Emperor of the Boiling Isles stirred as he realized he was in the waiting room of the Undersea Isles Palace, "Oh, I must have been more tired than I realized…"

"Are you alright?" Blue wondered as she worried for her witch and the nightmares, he had that would cause much trouble to his sleep.

"Yes… just dreaming about a broken memory." Belos answered while trying to shake off the headache he had.

"About her."

"No, thankfully."

There was a pause between the Emperor and Palisman.

"…About him."

"Yes, I don't think I will ever truly heal from his passing, even after knowing that he would be at peace, I still grieve him." Belos sighed with exhaustion despite resting in the waiting room, "Even the song I still sing is for him, even when I don't know what it means."

Blueberry Parfait the Avian Advisor frowned as she knew that the broken memories troubled Belos deeply, his mind still wished to restore the missing pieces.

"Queen Charlene of the Undersea Isles is ready for us now." The Palisman informed while in her human form.

"Thank you, Blue. Let us not keep her waiting."

The emperor and palisman then walked to the throne room, where a rainbow mermaid with an Angler-Squid Palisman, slowly changed into a well-primmed witch in a ponytail and an elegant vest, turtleneck, and tentacle-legged merman.

"Kraken Wells of Queen Charlene Undersea, greetings." Blue bowed to her fellow palisman.

"Greetings to you as well, Blueberry Parfait of Emperor Belos." He bowed as well then, she and Belos approached the throne.

"It is nice to see you again, Belos. Looks like we have much to talk about." The queen greeted as she used a squirt bottle for her face to stay hydrated.

"Indeed, we do."

At the Undersea Isles Hotels for Land Dwellers Above…

Everyone was sitting at breakfast with their newest little friend who looked like he was in Baby Class with the cutest smile on his face.

"So, you're Castle Schooled? Your family is teaching you." Amity wondered as she noticed the bodyguards looking after him.

"My family wishes for me to learn their way of magic. They want everything to stay in the family, which is why I am here." He answered meekly to the older kids.

"Sounds pretty traditional," Gus answered.

"Sounds pretty sheltered and I thought our uncle was overprotective." Spade scoffed earning some glares from his siblings.

"Spade!" William scolded his younger brother.

"What?"

"Not every witch learns the same way. There are some families that like to do things traditionally." William reminded the younger while Luz looked a little confused.

"Before there were schools, it was up to families to teach their young, thus creating a family style of magic that was exclusive, only those inside the family are allowed to their secrets. Some, especially the very rich of witches felt that this was the best education for their kids, the old ways." Hunter explained to his cousin.

"Oh." The Princess of the Boiling Isles voiced.

"So, what brings you here to the Undersea Isles? Are you here to check out the Museum of Covens, Royalty, and the Legendary Isles, too?" Willow wondered as soon the waiter came to take orders.

"Welcome the next generation of witches, demons, and other magic users to the Undersea Isles Hotels for Land Dwellers Above's Dining Room. My name is Pebble Pym, and I will be your server." The angler-snail merman introduced himself with a pen click.

"Fluffy bluescary pancakes with marmalade syrup, fire honey butter, Griffen-spider Eggs, Flying Wild Pig sausages, and Maple Marble Triple Glaze Bacon extra crispy with Substitute Unicorn Milk, please." Both Hunter and Pip answered at the same time, surprising not only the both of them but the others too.

"Woah, never knew anyone else other than our uncle who orders something that specific," Spade uttered, who has he felt a sudden déjà vu.

"Yeah, didn't know anyone else orders like that," Hunter muttered, having a strange feeling in his gut.

"You could never go wrong with the classics," Pip answered with a smile.

Weird, that is also something his uncle would say… He doesn't have red eyes, but he could be wearing contacts…

"Anyways, I'm really excited to know more about the Founding Coven Heads that were with my dad during the war." Luz voiced, changing the subject so things would feel a little less weird.

"Yeah, I want to know more about Mia Miasma the Magician and her theory of Illusion to Reality." Gus smiled as he wanted to learn more about the Illusionist.

"I want to see how Grim Vidalia was able to create his jungle in the sky. I've been trying for weeks." Willow added.

"And to see the innovations from my ancestors and Hans Muckwacker, showing how they can create Abominations for everything." Amity voiced while looking into the books.

While everyone was talking about the museum and what they could discover, Hunter was able to take a small strand of hair without anyone looking.

He had a theory… he hoped he wasn't right about.
