It had been so long since he had seen her, Naruto, the person he had fallen in love with.

Her short blonde hair was now long enough to reach her wide and soft as silk but soaked with the rainwater that made her usually warm sun-kissed skin dull in the darkness of the night her beautiful baby blue eyes were now bloodshot.

Her pink plump lips were now cracked, and her voice was filled with hurt as she cried.

"How could you?!" Naruto stared at him, her tear-stained face contorted with anguish.

"You said you would wait for me. Was that all a lie?!" she cried again, her voice filled with hurt.

At that moment, his heart skipped a beat as lavender eyes opened, and a rush of memories flooded his mind. Hinata looked to the side, expecting to see her, but instead, he found someone else. Her hair wasn't blonde but light blue, and her skin wasn't warm as the sun but pale as snow.

The room is dimly lit, with the sound of raindrops tapping against the windowpane. Just like that night..., Hinata sits by the edge of the bed, gazing down at the woman lying there. He feels a mixture of emptiness and detachment.

Hinata's mind wanders back to a similar rainy day, it was a month ago when he thought about Naruto and their last conversation. He shakes the memory off along with the throbbing pain in his heart.

Hinata's expression stays distant as he pulls on his jacket, ready to leave. He doesn't hesitate and leaves. There's a silent understanding that he feels nothing toward her.

Without a word, Hinata turns away, his footsteps inaudible on the creaking floorboards. As he opens the bedroom door, a gust of wind blows in, causing the curtains to billow. The rain intensifies, echoing the turmoil within Hinata's heart.

Hinata steps out into the night, the raindrops drenching his clothes. He disappears into the darkness, leaving behind a void that matches the emptiness he feels inside.

The grand ballroom of the opulent mansion is abuzz with activity. Housekeepers and butlers, dressed impeccably in black and white, scurry around, arranging exquisite decorations and setting up tables adorned with fine China and crystal glasses. The chandeliers above, glistening with a thousand crystals, cast an ethereal glow across the room.

Outside, sleek, expensive cars line the driveway, chauffeurs standing by, ready to aid their distinguished guests. The atmosphere crackles with anticipation as the wives of two notorious mafia leaders, Kushina and Mikoto, oversee the preparations for their daughter Naruto's homecoming party after a long five-year journey.

Kushina, an elegant woman in her late forties, exudes an air of authority. Her dark eyes sparkle with a mix of pride and nervousness. She checks each arrangement meticulously, her sharp gaze lingering on the floral centerpieces.

"Make sure every detail is perfect. My sweet baby Naruto deserves nothing but the best." Kushina's said while adjusting a rose.

Rin, her trusted bodyguard, rushes over, her eyes wide with excitement.

"Kushina's, the guests are arriving. The Uchiha's have just pulled up." Kushina nods, her face composed, but a flicker of tension passes through her eyes. She straightens her posture and takes a deep breath, gathering her composure.

"Thank you, Rin. Inform the butlers to welcome our esteemed guests. And make sure the champagne is chilled to perfection."

Rin scurries off, and Kushina turns her attention to the final touches. The butlers move gracefully, arranging silverware and polishing glasses with precision. The room hums with an air of anticipation.

Simultaneously, Mikoto, a regal woman with a commanding presence, enters the ballroom, her eyes scanning the room with an eagle's precision. Her lips curl into a satisfied smile as she sees the preparations.

"Ensure the dance floor shines like diamonds. Tonight is a night to remember." Mikoto tells a housekeeper. The housekeeper nods and hurries off, joining the flurry of activity around the room. Mikoto glides toward Kushina's, their eyes meeting with a mix of respect and rivalry.

"Mikoto, welcome. I trust your journey was pleasant?" Kushina nods at Mikoto.

"Indeed, Kushina's. And I see the thought of your daughter's return has brought a renewed energy to this house." Mikoto says, smiling at her black hair in curls.

Kushina's eyes soften, a hint of pride shining through.

"Naruto I'm sure Naruto has grown into a remarkable young woman. Tonight, we celebrate her return and her accomplishments."

The two women exchange a polite smile, though an underlying tension lingers between them. They understand the delicate balance they must maintain for the sake of their family's peace.

As the sun begins to set, casting a warm glow through the ballroom's windows, the housekeepers and butlers put the final touches on the room. The tables gleam, the flowers exude a fragrant allure, and the music swells softly in the background.

Kushina and Mikoto stand side by side, their eyes fixed on the entrance, waiting for their beloved daughters to make their grand entrance.

Alas In the grand ballroom, Minato and Fugaku stood side by side, seeing the sea of elegantly dressed business leaders and executives mingling and exchanging pleasantries. The atmosphere was electric with anticipation.

As they chatted amongst themselves, Minato's eyes scanned the room, searching for any sign of Naruto's familiar face. Fugaku, on the other hand, appeared deep in thought, his gaze fixed on a group of individuals engaged in intense discussions nearby.

across the ballroom, Sasuke, his youngest son, was engrossed in negotiations with representatives from other companies. His sharp business acumen and charismatic demeanor allowed him to navigate the intricate web of conversations effortlessly. Deals were being made, alliances forged, and Sasuke's presence was vital to the success of their family's empire.

Fugaku watched Sasuke from a distance, his eyes filled with pride. He knew his son had inherited the shrewdness and determination that ran in their bloodline. Itachi, too, saw Sasuke's interactions with a discerning eye, silently acknowledging his little brother's achievements.

Although he wasn't the only one it seemed as though his little brother was having a competition with the Haruno Boy.

Sasuke A suave 18th-century businessperson with his dark hair falling slightly in his face and Sakura a charismatic 18th-century entrepreneur with bright pink hair falling past his ears and muscles peeking out from under his suit, stand at opposite ends of the room. They both wear tailored suits, showing their success.

Ino, Shikamaru, and Sai, Sasuke's and Sakura's mutual friends, stand beside them near the balcony, their eyes focused on the horizon.

Sasuke stood leaning against the railing his emotionless mask on " Sakura, I must say, our friendly competition has been invigorating. You've certainly given me a run for my money."

Sakura chuckles with his head slightly thrown back "Likewise, Sasuke. It's been quite the thrill. But I must admit, I never expected you to be so formidable."

His once bright long blonde hair was short as he was slicked back and he wore a dark blue suit that Complimented his light blue eyes.

turning to face them.

"Indeed, gentlemen. Your rivalry has been the talk of the town. The way you both negotiated those business deals was nothing short of impressive."

Shikamaru nods as the smoke leaves his mouth as he talks "Troublesome. You've raised the bar for every entrepreneur in the city."

Sai his fake smile in place as faces them. "But let's not forget the reason we're all gathered here today. It's been five years since our dear flat-chested friend Naruto embarked on her training trip. I wonder how she's doing."

Sakura laughs as he high-fives Sai as the other three males roll their eyes at the comment the atmosphere shifts as their thoughts drift to Naruto, their missing friend.

Ino rolls his eyes as he thinks about his blonde friend "Naruto was always the ambitious one. I'm sure she's thriving wherever she is."

Sakura nods "Indeed, she was never one to shy away from a challenge. I can only imagine the heights she's reached during her time away

Sasuke turns towards the cloudy night, the scent of rain coming through his nose as he whispers "I remember the day she left. She had a fire in her eyes and an unwavering determination. I have no doubt she'll return as a force to be reckoned with."

"You're right, Sasuke. Naruto was always destined for greatness. I have a feeling she'll come back and surprise us all in a troublesome way."

He chuckles as he lets out a small smirk, they all exchange determined glances, ready to conquer new challenges in honor of their absent friend.

Suddenly, a burst of commotion caught their attention. Tsunade and Jiraiya stood in a black tux that he was probably forced into by his wife Tsunade who wore a silver ball gown dress. But what everyone was waiting to see was the mafia princess.

Kushina's and Mikoto's eyes sparkled as the site of Naruto was revealed.

The blonde beauty radiant in her, entered the ballroom with an air of confidence. Her presence commanded attention, and heads turned as she gracefully made her way toward her mother and godmother. With a warm smile, she respectfully bowed her head.

"Mother, Uchiha San it's so good to see you again" She avoided their hugs as she held their hands together, her silk-gloved fingers rubbing their palms.

"Naruto sweetie there's no need to act so formal" Naruto smiles warmly and nods. She then turned to her father and Fugaku and exchanged a quick nod.

"She's right my sweet baby fox we missed you so much we threw this whole party for you my love" Naruto nodded as she explained that it was improper for her to do so. As the evening progressed.

Sai looked surprised as he and the others saw Naruto from a distance. In contrast to other women with bold makeup and pastel; colored grown dresses. But Naruto only wore a dark red lipstick that matched her red wine evening gown with black streaks and a glaze of sparkle to complement her blonde hair that was in a bun but with a pink strip of bangs framing her face.

"Damn Naruto is not so flat anymore. I didn't expect her to come back as a hot blonde bombshell" Sai said as he elbowed Ino in the side. Who rolled his eyes.

"Bro she's literally out of your league, but Naruto has always been pretty, what do you expect?" Now it was Sai's turn to roll his eyes.

Sakura was a bit speechless at the way Naruto looked...and she had pink hair. He didn't know why but he didn't care, she just looked so beautiful. Sakura takes a deep breath and approaches Naruto, his heart pounding.

Sakura walks over to the blonde omega trying to be casual "Hey, Naruto! Welcome back! How was your training trip?" Naruto stops her conversation with her cousin Karin to turn towards her old friend with a smile

"It was incredible, Sakura! I learned so much and can't wait to put everything into practice." Ino gathers his courage and interrupts their conversation.

"Naruto, I'm glad you're back. I missed seeing you around." Naruto looks at Ino kindly, her eyes twinkling with amusement.

"Aw, Ino, did you miss me that much?" she said with a slight giggle as she teased him by pinching his cheek.

The Yamaka alpha began to get flustered. "Well, yeah. I mean, you're a great person, and I wanted to ask if maybe you'd like to go out sometime?" Before Naruto can respond, Shion, a competitive and athletic boy, strides over, determined to make his move.

Shion another blonde with purple eyes that reminded her of him..."Hey, Naruto! I heard you had an amazing training trip. You know, you should come to one of my games. You would be my cheerleader."

Naruto raises an eyebrow, intrigued by Shion's confidence.

"Oh? Well, I'm not the cheerleader type but thanks for the suggestion, Shion."Sakura, feeling a sense of urgency, jumps back into the conversation.

"Hey, Naruto, I know we've been friends for a while, but...so I know what's best for you, you shouldn't date that guy?"

Naruto looks at Sakura appreciatively, considering his words but decides to ignore it as she joins her father and Fugaku, completing the family gathering.

They exchanged stories of their respective endeavors, sharing both triumphs and challenges. Amidst the bustling ballroom, they found solace in each other's company, a united front in the face of a competitive business world.

Most omega wives were gushing about how respectful Naruto was and how beautiful she had gotten, most of them asking if she would be interested in dating their alpha daughters or Sons. but her father had kindly whisked her away.

Naruto had met her niece and two nephews. Her older brother Ryota just had triplets.

The grand ballroom is alive with shimmering chandeliers, dazzling gowns, and the gentle hum of conversation. Naruto stands near the entrance, her once radiant face now painted with a veil of numbness. She clutches a handkerchief tightly in her trembling fingers.

Naruto's mother, Kushina, approaches with a concerned expression as she raises her hand to touch Naruto's forehead only to be brushed off by her glove hand.

"Naruto, are you sure you should be here tonight? You look so unwell."

"I'm fine, Mom. Just a little tired, that's all." Kushina studies Naruto's face, her eyes filled with worry. But before she can say anything, Naruto's father takes to the stage, drawing everyone's attention. The room falls into a hushed silence.

"Thank you all for joining us tonight. This ball is a celebration of love and unity, and I couldn't be prouder of my daughter, Naruto, for embracing the spirit of this occasion."

As her father's words fill the air, Naruto feels a lump forming in her throat. Naruto's heartache becomes unbearable. Tears well up in her eyes, threatening to spill over. She feels suffocated by the weight of her emotions.

With a sudden determination, Naruto slips away from the crowd, moving swiftly toward the back of the ballroom. She finds a discreet door leading to a secluded balcony, hidden from prying eyes.

Naruto steps onto the moonlit balcony and leans against the railing. The cool night air along with ice-cold drops of rain brushes against her feverish skin, supplying a momentary respite. She closes her eyes, trying to gather her shattered emotions.

Her face is pale, and her eyes are glassy with tears. She clutches her chest, feeling both physical and emotional pain.

Her forehead is burning with a 108-degree fever, and her heart is broken. The weight of her recent breakup hangs heavy on her fragile shoulders.

Naruto clenches the balcony as she felt herself, the whisperer,

"I must continue."

"Must continue what?" her blue eyes snap open as the sound of that voice sends shivers down her spine in a swift move as she faces him.

"Sawyer...what are you doing here?" He looks concerned as he softly smiles as he embraces her, his warm arms engulfing her.

"I wanted to surprise you...and to see how you were doing-fuck! Naruto you're burning up!" He pressed his hand to her forehead as she felt her slip from his hands.

In a rush he catches her and slides alongside her to the ground, his back against the balcony railing as he holds her between his legs, her shaky hands steadying on her shoulders.

"Hey come on I'm going to take you to your parents" he tried getting up only for Naruto to shake her head as she held his arms tighter.

"No! just...hold me I-I can't breathe when I'm in that ballroom" With his arms securely wrapped around her, he eased her as he let her lay her head on his chest as he encircled his scent around her.

"Naru if you were sick, you shouldn't have come" She gazes into the starry sky, tears streaming down her face. The weight of her pain becomes too much to bear, and she lets out a choked sob, her body trembling.

"Sawyer you're right...I just didn't want them to worry, and I felt worse when you told me they were planning this party" She felt his grip tighten on her hips as she felt his anger towards her.

"That doesn't mean you attend a party with a high-stakes fever that could kill you, how did your grandparents let you come?" Naruto let out what seemed like a giggle, but her voice was so rough and dry that you couldn't understand.

"No but I was Persistent" He raised an eyebrow at her "You mean being stubborn" She snored at that but didn't say anything more as she lay there in Sawyer's arms.

She should have been used to it by now after all she had been in Konoha for a month...but couldn't not after being so used to being in his arms.

"Are you finally going to tell me about what happened between you and Hinata?"

In that vulnerable moment, a sense of clarity dawns upon her. She wipes away her tears, straightens her back, and takes a deep breath.

"No let's go I'm ready to go back"

She takes a deep breath, summoning the strength to put on a brave face. She adjusts her gown, straightens her posture, and steps forward, mingling with the crowd.

With Sawyer hot on her trail, Naruto is cornered into the hallway where she sees Tsunade with a concerned face as she presses her palm against the smaller blonde's forehead.

"Naru, I told you this would happen" Naruto avoids her gaze, before looking up she presses a kiss against Tsunade's cheek.

"I know and I'm ready to go rest" Without a second thought Naruto was led through the hallway to the sports car outside, she knew too well whose car it was she turned towards Tsunade with a scow on her face.

"Baa-Chan you planned this! you were going to send me with Sawyer" she screamed as her voice was rough, and the coughs that came right after that were just as bad, but it looked like Tsunade was backing down.

"Yes! Because I knew this would happen! You refuse to listen especially when you're sick, look I know that you and Hina-"

"Don't! I don't want to talk about him not now, not ever!" Tsunade looked more worried as she caressed Naruto's face.

"Sometimes Mistakes are made, Hinata could have his reasons Naru..."Naruto was about to respond when she felt dizzy and grabbed onto Tsunade's arm.

"See you're going home, and don't worry about the party I'll handle it" Naruto nodded as felt Sawyer put his jacket around her naked shoulders, she and Tsunade walked outside, their heads covered by the umbrella Naruto held as she enjoyed the soft melody of raindrops.

Naruto sits in the backseat, her face flushed with fever. Her forehead glistens with sweat, and she shivers uncontrollably despite the Sawyers's jacket wrapped around her.

The moon casts an eerie glow on the deserted road as the car speeds through the darkness. Sawyer drives the car with determination, worry etched across his face. He glances at Naruto through the rearview mirror, his concern deepening as her condition worsens.

"Hang in there, Naruto. We're almost there." Naruto musters a weak smile, her voice barely a whisper.

"I... know, Sawyer."

The car's headlights illuminate the entrance to a secluded cabin nestled among towering pines. Sawyer parks the car haphazardly, rushing to Naruto's side. He opens the door and gently lifts her into his arms, her body limp and fragile.

Sawyer carries Naruto towards the cabin, the frigid air biting at their faces. He opens the door meeting the dimly lit room.

As he lays Naruto on the couch, her breath is shallow and ragged. He quickly rummages through a nearby cabinet, searching for any remaining medication. He sighs in relief when he finds a bottle of fever-reducing pills.

"Here this should make you feel better" Sawyer pours a glass of water and places the pills on a small table beside Naruto. He supports her head, lifting her gently to administer the medication.

"Thanks... Sawyer, you're a good friend" she says while struggling to keep her breathing even

Sawyer couldn't help but feel his heartache as he watched Naruto suffer. He brushes her hair away from her face, his voice filled with determination.

"I know, Naruto. I promise Haku I will take care of you, won't I?" Naruto mods weakly, tears welling in her eyes. Sawyer massages her forehead, trying to supply some comfort.

"Shh, Shh go to sleep." Naruto clings to Sawyer's hand, her grip feeble but filled with trust. She closes her eyes, surrendering to the medicine's effects as her body fights against the fever.

The first rays of sunlight filter through the cabin's windows, illuminating Naruto's peaceful face. Her fever has subsided, and color slowly returns to her cheeks. Sawyer sits by her side, a mixture of relief and exhaustion clear on his face.

Sawyer's eyes meet Naruto's as she wakes, a weak smile gracing her lips

"Thank you for taking care of me," she says, getting up, her body aching as she hugs Sawyer before kissing his cheek.

Sawyer hums as gave the blonde a pain killer "Your parents called and checked on you while you were asleep" Naruto nods as she swallows the pill, her mouth feeling dry she takes a sip of water that is sitting by her bedside table.

"What'd you say?" He rubs the back of his head, his dark skin glowing with the sun as her gray eyes stay on her.

"I didn't answer...Tsunade Sama told them that you started your heat early at the party that's why you had left early"

"I see...well that just gives me more time to myself" Sawyer raises an eyebrow as he crosses his arms.

"More time? You've been here in Konoha for a month, and you still refused to tell me what happened between you and the Hyuga boy?"

The blonde looks annoyed as she pushes his shoulder "Look Sawyer I don't want to talk about it right now...and Don't you have to go to work?" Sawyer looks at the time before sighing as he nods.

"Yes...are you going to be alright?" He looks concerned as he touches her forehead to see if her fever has gone down.

"You're still a bit warm" Naruto pushes his hand away and bops his nose with her finger.

"Yes, I'll be fine, and you can't be here for the next few days" He nods in understanding he presses a kiss against her forehead once more before leaving through the door.

Later on, that evening, the room is dimly lit, with a soft glow emanating from a small bedside lamp. Naruto, troubled expression, lies restlessly on her bed. Her breathing is labored, and her body is covered in a thin sheen of sweat. She clutches the sheets tightly as her mind begins to wander.

Naruto and Hinata walk hand in hand through a picturesque park. The sun shines brightly, casting a warm glow on their faces. Naruto's smile is radiant as Hinata whispers sweet nothings into her ear. They share playful laughter and stolen kisses, lost in their world of love and happiness.

Naruto's face contorted in pain as her heart intensified. Her body trembles and a low whimper escapes her lips. Her mind continues to replay memories of Hinata.

Naruto and Hinata cuddle on the couch, wrapped in a cozy blanket. The room is filled with the soft crackling of a fireplace, creating an atmosphere of comfort and intimacy.

Naruto nuzzles her head against Hinata's chest, feeling safe and protected. They talk about their dreams, their future together, and the beautiful life they plan to build.

"You promise you wait for me" He chuckled his voice deep as it sent shivers down her spine, as the alpha pushed a blonde strand of hair away from her face.

"If I could fly across the world just to be with you for one night, I don't think waiting for you would be a problem my love" Naruto blushes but chooses to stay quiet as Hinata kisses her.

Naruto's eyes welled up with tears as her heart reached its peak. She curls up into a fetal position, seeking solace in the memories of her lost love.

Naruto and Hinata sit across from each other at a small table in a bustling café. Their hands interlocked, they gazed into each other's eyes with deep affection.

Naruto playfully brushes a strand of hair behind her ear, and Hinata smiles, captivated by her beauty. They share dreams and aspirations, finding solace in their shared ambitions.

Naruto's heartache is palpable as she rides the waves of her heat. Her body yearns for the touch and presence of her past love, but she knows she must face this alone.

With a deep breath, Naruto wipes away her tears and steadies herself. The pain subsides. She realizes that she is stronger now, and she can overcome this alone...or at least she thinks so.

Across town, the pulsating music reverberates through the dimly lit nightclub. Strobe lights flash, illuminating the gyrating bodies on the dance floor. An alpha with lavender-tinted eyes stands at the bar, nursing a beer. His lavender eyes are now bloodshot, and the scent of cigarettes lingers in the air around him.

Hinata takes a long drag from his cigarette, his mind clouded with thoughts of his recent breakup with the blonde Beauty he used to call his own. He exhales a cloud of smoke, trying to drown his sorrows in the haze of the club.

Hinata's attention is caught by a group of betas and omegas dancing nearby. He watches them intently, his eyes scanning their every move. With a newfound determination, he stubs out his cigarette and downs the rest of his beer.

Hinata confidently approaches the girls, his heart still heavy but hidden beneath a veil of false bravado. He flashes a charming smile, his eyes glistening with a mix of sadness and mischief.

"Hey, ladies. Mind if I join you?" The girls exchange glances, intrigued by Hinata's mysterious aura. One of them, named something with an M, steps forward, her eyes filled with curiosity and lust.

"Sure, why not?" She said smiling, He could practically feel the lust rolling off of her.

Together, they dance, their bodies moving in sync with the pulsing beat. Hinata's movements are fluid as if he's trying to forget the pain with every step.

Naruto sits on her couch, surrounded by remnants of their once-shared life. Tears stream down her face as she clutches a photograph of her and Hinata, their smiles once filled with joy now a painful reminder of what once was.

"Why did he have to leave me?" she whispered her heat hitting her like a tidal wave the pain in her heart not setting well with the pain she was feeling throughout her body.

Hinata and Bata sit in a secluded VIP booth, taking each other's clothes off as quickly as they can as they are surrounded by an air of exclusivity. The music is muffled, and the atmosphere is charged with anticipation. Hinata's eyes wandered, his gaze focused on anything but the girl in front of him.

Despite his best efforts, he can only see Naruto and her stunning blue eyes, glistening with the intense heat...before he knows it, he finishes with a whisper of Naruto's name. The beta smile falters, as she watches Hinata leave without a second thought. She takes a sip of her drink, her eyes searching for answers.
