Naruto wakes up early as she gets ready for her hair appointment. She was going to cut half of her hair off and she decided to do the peekaboo hairstyle with Harumi as per request from the alpha so she did.

Sawyer had given her time off so she could speak to her parents about the situation she was in with the famous pop star and the job she decided to pursue.

The only reason she was meeting up with them was because her great-grandparents were going to be there and she couldn't do that to them.

Her heart pounded as looked at the line of expensive cars adoring her parents' front yard. Naruto waited until the black gates opened letting her drive in.

She knew she shouldn't have been nervous but she couldn't help herself.

Even after she worked so hard to stay out of her parent's clutches and here she is running straight for them…Naruto breathes in a deep breath before letting it go as her fingers twitch.

She felt the need to take out her disgusting habit of smoking cigarettes but she didn't, just as the clouds covered the sighing sun she stepped out.

The clicks of her heels against the pavement made her think about where she stood the day before all those men bowing to her because.

She owned Haku's territory and the people who worked in that territory now belonged with her…

Naruto walked inside as the doors opened for her revealing Kakashi, she gave him a small smile but it didn't do much as she stared into her eyes with his cold ones that looked filled with anger and anxiety?…

She walked past him, her hair swishing softly behind her, until she heard his voice that made her stop in her tracks.

"How could you do this to us, your family?" Blue eyes narrowed as before she coldly spoke.

"It had to be done" was all she said before she left him, she knew that she majorly fucked up if it made Kakashi get anxious.

The room is dimly lit, with soft music playing in the background. Naruto sits in the family dining room where her parents sit in front of her with her grandparents. Her face is conflicted as she stares at them.

"Your brothers won't be joining us today, I didn't want them to see how much you become a disappointment in the few days you've been here" Kushina spoke with such a voice that made Naruto want to cry but she held it in.

"Oh? I'm disappointed in having a life. Or am I a disappointment because I don't want to get pregnant at nineteen and get married like you to some Mafia boss to control me even more than you could?"

Naruto spoke coldly as she stared at Kushina with such a hated gaze that caused goosebumps to appear on Minato's arm,

Kushina's face turned red in anger. She could never hold her daughters' anger well, they were cut from the same cloth, and that caused them to both bump heads.

She hated that Naruto fought against her at everything.

Kushina was raised by her parents to be a warrior assassin who killed with no hesitation and she married the love of her life when they found out she was having their first son.

She worked just as hard as her husband to train and keep their children safe and like her parents Naruto wouldn't be the same.

She would raise her daughter to be a good housewife omega who didn't stand on the lines of Fire like her alpha family.

Both Minato and Kushina are distinguished people who have always expected her to follow in their footsteps, to become a renowned housewife for a man who could beat her for doing one step wrong, But Naruto's heart yearns for something different—something more creative, more fulfilling.

a life where she shouldn't have to see the ones she loves in danger or killed like Haku…

"Naruto you don't speak to your mother that way, show respect! You live under my rules, and now under my house"

The hated phonemes spread like wildfire, she felt like she couldn't breathe, her father's scent was filled with smoke and the scent of pine.

Naruto gathered her courage and faced her parents a snarl leaving her lips "No I don't, I don't live here nor under your rules I live by mine."

The tension was getting worse and Tsunade decided to stop it before it could get worse.

"Alright calm down, there's no need to cause a scene, Naruto please explain why you sent all of your parent's men to jail leaving them completely vulnerable."

They weren't Vulnerable she knew both of her parents could take millions down but she calmed down for the sake of her grandmother who took care of her.

"So they could feel the feeling up and close. What they did was invade my privacy, leaving me more vulnerable to a bunch of strangers moving things from my house to theirs, looking through things that I had saved from my dead friend!"

Naruto turned towards them with her blue eyes that were filled with anger. "You touched my property without my permission and bulldozed into my home, I wanted you to feel the same way, so I took your property and sent them to jail for trespassing."

Minato raises an eyebrow, clearly puzzled, but his eyes soften at his daughter. This was the same girl who cried over the fact that her pet dogs couldn't talk, but now his princess was all grown up.

"Naruto, you don't understand what you did by pulling that stunt with that celebrity that has made you an eye of the public and the eye of many people of the underworld who want to get back at us by targeting you."

"We have built a legacy in the medical field. Why do you want to throw all that away?" He asked as he reached across the table to place her hair behind her head but she shook off his hand.

"Dad you hid me away from the world because you've had a line of husbands to set me up with so I could stay hidden but I can't allow myself to live a life where I can't leave my house or get stuck raising babies." Kushina scuffled as she stared at her daughter and crossed her arms.

"There is nothing wrong with becoming a mother, or a wife. I know you would succeed in that and live a happy life where you didn't have to worry about anything but your children and husband." Tsunade and Jiraya were grateful that the tension in the room was leaving the room slowly.

They were yelling but talking and that was better than Naruto being disowned by her family.

"I know and there is nothing wrong with that but I don't want to live the life of a mother or a wife so young, I want to live my life. It's hard to understand, but I want to follow my passion. I want to study and go to college for business and open a flower shop of my own. I want to be a botanist."

Kushina and Minato exchange glances, realizing that their daughter's dreams are out of their hands.

Kushina spoke softly, "Naruto, it's your life, and ultimately I hate that you don't want to live with us or get married but I understand you need your space and we ... will give that to you as long as you stay out of trouble." Naruto's face as relief floods over her.

"Okay thank you, I'm sorry for putting all your men in jail." Kushina smiled and shrugged her shoulders.

"They all got off anyway, when you do get a new place you have to invite us over I need to make sure Sawyer is paying you more than enough to get a good condo, not an apartment, it's bad enough that you don't want to work for us but that's fine but you will move back in if I see another news article about you getting married!"

Kushina nagged her but Naruto answered her questions softly with a yes or no. She never once said sorry about calling her a disappointment, she wasn't the only one who noticed it was all the people in the room.

The same bodyguards she had put away felt guilt, growing up she wasn't allowed to go to school or to the parties her parents needed to go to but her brothers were allowed, she had brushed it off as a child but she still felt the loneliness if it wasn't for Haku who stayed with her.

Naruto would have noticed sooner how despised she was by her mother's family just because she was an omega.

"Please tell me you didn't get married? I can't have that nor can your father" Naruto looked up and shook her head, "No I didn't get married, Mother I have to go Sawyer needs me to do a job" She watched as different emotions across Kushina's face before settling on one.

"You're pretty close with him, is this more than a friendship?" She asked and Naruto refused to goan or smack her head.

"No we are just friends, Sawyer's letting me stay at his place just until I can find my own," She said while grabbing her bag.

they had walked to the front door Minato stared at her and gave her a soft smile.

"You can stay with us, It's been five years since you lived here, it's going to be hard not to have you come over" Naruto pursed her lips before giving a tight smile.

"You lasted five years without me here, I'm sure it shouldn't be a problem." Naruto gives them a short bowel before walking out of the mansion, she refuses to cry at the thought of being nothing but a disappointment in the family.

"Naru, you know you're not a disappointment" Tsunade's voice was behind her and she turned to see both her grandparents.

"Don't listen to your mother kid, she wasn't raised with the same values as you were" Naruto's eyes soften as she fiddles with her keys, she genuinely smiles and pulls the both of them in a quick hug.

"Thank you"

"Come on, Dobe! You're being weak!" Sasuke encouraged her as Naruto grunted and strained to push herself up with the added weight of Sasuke on her back. She had been bowling off-stream ever since she had apologized to her parents they were setting her up on dates.

Naruto's muscles trembled with the effort, but she was ready to prove she could handle carrying Sasuke on her back.

She gritted her teeth and continued to push through, focusing on her breathing and the burn in her muscles.

Sasuke watched as she pushed through but placed more of his weight, ever since Naruto had come back to Konoha.

He and Naruto would work out together at the police academy gym at 4:00 am every day.

But as the push-ups continued, Naruto's strength wavered, and her breath started coming in short, ragged gasps.

Beads of sweat formed on her forehead, and her arms shook with the strain.

With one final push, Naruto collapsed to the mat, completely out of breath. Sasuke smirked and watched as she breathed up and down.

He could feel her pulse from her thumping heart.

He was wearing a tank with sweats while Naruto was wearing a sweatshirt and sweatpants.

"You did pretty well and I thought you were weak," Sasuke said, offering her some water to drink.

Naruto groaned as she managed a tired glare, She tried to push Sasuke off only for the jerk to stay on with that evil chuckle of his.

The only reason she had pushed herself to her limits was because she hated how much her parents looked down on her.

With Sasuke by her side, she knew he would push her over her limits.

"Shut up bastard!, and get off I want to go to the boxing bag" humming softly Sasuke got off her and watched as the smaller blonde rolled her neck and shoulders back till she pulled out her long hair from her sweatshirt.

It reached her hip, Naruto lifted her shirt revealing her slim stomach as she wiped her sweat free from her forehead.

Naruto walked towards the other side as her fists were trapped tightly in boxing wraps, beads of sweat forming on her forehead.

With each kick and punch, she poured all her frustration and anger into the boxing bag that swung back and forth with each impact.

Sasuke watched from the sidelines, concern evident in his eyes.

He knew his blonde friend was going through a tough time, of course.

He knew it wasn't a surprise that Naruto's parents kept her on a tight leash but lately, it was too tense.

Out of everyone, Naruto was the friend who kept her heart on her sleeve but seeing her unleash her pent-up emotions like this was unsettling.

His worry deepened as her kicks grew stronger and more erratic, until finally, with a forceful kick.

she sent the bag flying across the room, narrowly missing a group of new police force recruits who had just entered the gym.

The recruits stared in shock as the heavy bag crashed against the far wall, the sound echoing through the room. Naruto didn't freeze, only glared at the floor as her hands clenched together.

She turned to Sasuke, her eyes filled with a mixture of anger and frustration, Sasuke gave her a look and she raised her hand cause she knew that judging look.

"Don't, I'll pay for a new one" Sasuke approached Naruto slowly, his voice calm despite the chaos around them.

"Naruto, you're stressed. Let's take a break, come sit down," he said, gently guiding her to a nearby bench. The recruits, now recovering from their initial shock, watched the scene unfold with curiosity.

Not just them, Naruto clicked her teeth as she and Sasuke both looked irritated as Shisui and Itachi approached them.

Shisui smiled as he decided to approach Naruto with a cocky smirk on his face, he stepped forward and called out.

"Hey I didn't know you were that strong why don't you and Sasuke show the recruits how to take down an enemy?"

"I just did like a thousand pushups with Sasuke on my back, I don't want to show a bunch of Newbies who should know how to take someone down." Itachi smiled a cunning one at that, she wanted to slap it off.

"Are you in a bad mood because your parents set you on a date because you can't get one?"

Her eyebrow twitched and she could hear the background laughing from the recruits.

Glaring behind her she turned back sharply, her hair hitting Shisui in the face.

before she pressed her finger into Itachi's chest, her blue eyes filled with anger and heat.

"I can get my date! I don't need my parents to fix dates, ugh you're annoying"

She was about to kick his face only for Sasuke to grab her foot, Naruto tried to push him away but he threw her over his shoulder.

"Alright everyone, that is a perfect example of how to not overreact in any situation like a friend Naruto now gives her hand."

Naruto glared and held her head low as she heard the clamps as Sasuke walked her out of the gym.

After Sasuke had put her down he looked concerned as Naruto glared at him and she paused with a pout playing on her lips.

"Why did you do that?" She asked, crossing her arms and He gave her a plain look.

"Why else? you were going to kick a mafia boss in the face because he was teasing you."

Naruto glared harder as the pout on her lips disappeared.

"Itachi's not a crime boss! He's just Itachi! Nothing more" Sasuke exhaled sharply as he pinched the bridge of his nose.

She can faintly see his muscles tense up.

"But he is!, the only reason why he hasn't blown your brains out is because you're the daughter of an important Mafia boss, and if anything happens to you and your father finds out Itachi was the reason it would be a war!"

Naruto's eyes soften as she considers his words, and her heart begins to ache.

Her blue eyes wavered as they teared up. "So you're saying if I wasn't the daughter of a mafia boss, I would be dead because Itachi doesn't care about me?"

a single tear rolled down her cheek as she turned away, Sasuke's eyes softened, he tried to caress her but Naruto had stepped back.

"Naru that's not what I meant look-" He tried to explain but Naruto shook her head with a forceful laugh as she wiped her face.

"No I should view everyone I care about as heartless beans who don't give a once-of fuck about me, I'm sorry to be always in your way."

she was crying by the end of her sentence, the second she left Sasuke regretted it.

He sighed heavily as his head was against the wall, Naruto had run into the girl's locker room he sure as hell couldn't go in there.

But he knew it was the best Sasuke knew his face cared for Naruto, practically everyone did.

She always had others' protection because of her sunshine.

But it wouldn't be enough if she was going to be a hit woman in this line of work, even the people you most care about can be your worst enemy.

But he did fuck up making her cry.

Shisui came around the corner, his smile dropping as he couldn't find the site of Naruto anywhere, he looked like a lost puppy dog who couldn't find their owner.

"Hey, where's Naruto? I wanted to tease her a bit more." Sasuke looked at him with a roll of his eyes as he crossed his arms.

"She's in the locker room, I would just leave her alone for a while, she's still pissed."

Shisui rolled his eyes, and Itachi was soon behind him Sasuke could hear the faint grunting of the recruits who were stuck training.

"Well I'm not surprised, It must be difficult having to go on blind dates day after day because your parents want you knocked up and married."

He looked down as he spoke and images of Naruto smiling came to him.

"I honestly feel bad for her, Naruto always puts up a brave front around everyone and she has to deal with her parents all the time and now that she's employed by Sawyer it must be stressful."

Itachi raised an eyebrow and turned towards his brother who looked miserable as Shisui asked "Sasuke Where does Naruto live?" Sasuke raised his eyebrow as he got off the wall to face his brother.

"She's living with Sawyer until she finds an apartment, we were supposed to go after her coffee date." Itachi looked in disbelief that it was the first time Sasuke had seen his brother this way.

"Why the hell is she living with her boss?!, not to mention he's an alpha and she's an omega. What if he gets into a runt? And he can't stop himself from coming onto her?"

Sasuke asked these questions himself when he had talked to Naruto.

"Naruto says he stays at a hotel, that's why she wants to move out so fast because she feels bad for invading his space, but I don't think she'll want to go apartment shopping today."

Itachi stayed quiet, he looked equally frustrated just as Naruto did a few moments ago.

"I'll talk to her about it and I'll even ask Mother so she can take Naruto instead." Sasuke nodded and the three went back into the gym to watch

Naruto stepped out of the shower. Her long blonde hair was now falling down her back.

Water droplets clung to her skin, mingling with the tears she had shed in the privacy of the shower stall.

Her heart was heavy, she wrapped herself in a towel and made her way towards the front of the locker.

She changed into a loose shirt that fell off one shoulder as she wore tight flare pants.

Her scent of Jasmine and honeysuckle was now free, her neck had been iterated because her neck was itchy from the scent blocker patch.

She was still feeling hurt from Sasuke's words, all she wanted to do right now was go back to Swayers and then find her apartment.

She hated how the suffocating atmosphere seemed to surround her.

Naruto walked, and she caught sight of Sasuke's Shisui and Itachi chatting near the entrance.

Rolling her eyes Naruto lifted her gym bag over her shoulder as she decided to take the other hallway to the front where they wouldn't be.

Her footsteps quickened, echoing in the empty hallway as she tried to put as much distance between herself and them as possible.

Naruto forced a smile at the man at the front desk, she had gotten to know him ever since she chose to go to the gym here.

"You look tired, it must have been a good workout, great job Naru!" It wasn't hard not to smile because she didn't need to.

"Hai it was something, also I would like to cancel my membership. I'm going to take a break for a while…"

She says in a quiet tone with a smile, he didn't seem to notice as he typed on his computer before taking her card back.

"Oh, new boyfriend huh? I get it alphas are territorial and alphas are always coming in and out."

Naruto offered a smile, She didn't want to explain herself or pretend that everything was fine when it wasn't.

"Okay, you are all set!" Naruto said her goodbyes and left through the front she was juggling her keys as she pushed the unlocked door.

Before she could leave the building Shisui and Itachi caught her wrist.

"Hey wait before you go, the recruits especially since the girls are interested in you showing them taking me down."

She looked Shisui up and down, sizing him up. With a confident nod, she accepted the challenge.

Naruto looked away before biting her lip "Sure, why not? But I'm only doing this once."

He smiled and took her hand as he pulled her back into the building.

As they got back into the gym she saw Sasuke and avoided his gaze.

"Okay everyone, our good friend Naruto is going to give an example of how to take down an enemy." Naruto nodded as she slid off her gym bag and her sandals.

"Alright everyone if the attacker is coming after you" Shisui came close and Naruto raised her palm and forced it up against his nose.

Shisui groaned with pain

"Right, Punch them in the solar plexus with your fist or the base of your palm. Close your hand into a fist or keep it open and lead with the base of your palm. Quickly and forcefully strike your attacker in the soft spot just below their sternum"

"And once they're down, you can arrest them" The recruits stood back, amazed, and realized they were underestimating her.

Naruto found an opening and counterattacked, using a move that sent Shisui sprawling to the ground.

The recruits watched in astonishment as Naruto stood tall, her eyes gleaming with determination.

She had proved them wrong, showing them that strength comes in all forms.

As Naruto helped Shisui up, Sasuke spoke to the recruits, his tone authoritative yet reassuring.

"Training can be intense, but it's important to channel your emotions in a controlled manner. We all have our moments, but during the force, it is not the time to have those moments you need to control your emotions. "

Naruto nodded, her breathing gradually returning to normal.

She slid on her sandals and her gym bag over her shoulder. "Naruto, why didn't you say you were living with Sawyer? you know mother would have let you stay at our family home."

She looked away as she gathered everything in her arms and forced down any emotion that gathered.

"I didn't want to bother, but I have to go." Naruto rushed out of the gym and she quickly drove out of the parking lot.

It was barely five in the morning and she still had so much time to spare, breathing in a sigh as Naruto drove towards Sawyer's place.

It was just a quick drive by the time she was taking off her sandals the lights clicked on.

Naruto didn't flinch she looked just as tired as Sawyer she saw his look and her eyes softened.

"Are you thinking of him again?" from the look he gave her, Naruto placed her keys onto the counter as she crossed over to him her hand met his as the lights around them shut off.

Despite Sawyer's big penthouse with three rooms, they slept in one together…

it just sorta happened as Naruto slid in with Sawyer her eyes were soft just as she caressed his cheek with the palm of her hand.

He stayed in the palm of her hand before wrapping his arms around Naruto, his face buried into her neck, he could feel her breasts against his and her soft bittersweet scent in his nose.

Naruto wasn't Haku but he didn't need her to be.

"It's still early, let's just go to sleep." Naruto nodded as she caressed his hair till they were both asleep in each other's arms.

Naruto woke up to the touch of someone caressing her lips and chin, her long blonde lashes fluttered open revealing her blue eyes that were in a haze.

Her vision got better as the sight of Sawyer in a suit was in front of her with his gray eyes staring into hers.

"I'm going to work, I need you to work tonight so find a nice dress." Naruto nodded as she rubbed the sleep off her eyes.

"What kind of party?" she asked with a yawn as she walked towards Sawyers restroom where she brushed her teeth and washed her face.

Sawyer stood leaning against the doorway.

"A formal one, I need you to steal a flashdrive from another big company owner. If I get that flashdrive I'll be able to see every hidden location of their stocks." she hummed and patted her cheeks dry.

"Got it, I won't be detected" Sawyer nodded he looked her over with soft eyes, he moved over her to cup her cheek.

"You don't have to work for me Naruto, I don't mind you staying here while you go to college you don't have to pay for anything." Naruto exhaled softly, her lips pursed as she patted his hand.

"I know…but I can't let you do that. I should be able to live on my own so I can show my parents I can do this on my own so they can stop pressuring me to settle down and get married."

A smile broke onto her face as she shook her head with an unbelievable chuckle.

"They're probably planning our wedding as we speak, especially since they know I'm living with you now." she says with a laugh as she brushes past him and into his closet, the one she started to share with.

"Maybe that wouldn't be such a bad idea" His voice shook Naruto out of her core.

"Sawyer…" She tried to speak but Sawyer heard the tone of her voice as he spoke over her.

"Don't I promise Haku I will take care of you" She turned around to face him, Naruto placed her hands over her wide hips.

"Yeah but not marriage!, I'm grateful for everything you've done but marriage is-"

"I never said right now, just think about it." Naruto stayed silent.

She looked at Sawyer before looking away.

it wasn't until she felt his hand on her chin as he turned her head to face him as his lips pressed against her cheek.

"Just think about it, I won't wait forever." Her lips were still pursed as she watched Sawyer leave the room.

She turned back towards the closet to pick out a black dress that stopped at her thighs with a dark brown cardigan and her black boots.

It was still hot in Konoha but her outfit was perfect for her coffee date.

~~~
Naruto sat at the trendy café. It was one of those maid cafes where the servers wore maid and butler outfits.
Naruto couldn't help but smile at how cute it was.
She was waiting for 30 minutes and her date still hadn't arrived.
her hands fidgeting with the hem of her dress as she glanced around annoyed.
Looking into her coffee Naruto took out her wallet and placed a couple of bills down.
'This is the last time I go on a blind coffee date with someone who was perfect for me'
Just as Naruto was beginning to consider making a quick escape, she spotted him striding into the cafe.
His expensive suit perfectly tailored to his broad frame.
He exuded an air of arrogance as he scanned the room, his green eyes landing on Naruto with a calculating glint.
"Were you just about to leave?" He asks, eyeing the money on the table, it didn't make Naruto feel bad as the attitude that left his lips was already a red flag for her.
"Yes you were 30 minutes late, I didn't think you would show up" Naruto said as she looked him over before he had walked in.
Naruto waited patiently and she couldn't shake the feeling of dread that settled in the pit of her stomach.
Now that dread in her stomach was now more apparent, the coffee she had was just making it worse.
The man in front of her looked a bit older more around Itachi age's is what Naruto could guess.
His dark green eyes matched with his lush brown Coarse hair he had more than a strong build probably from all the intense working out her mother had told her about.
"I'm sorry I had a meeting and couldn't reschedule…I was informed by Kushina sama that you would be difficult." Naruto stood back stunned and it wasn't just her because the waiter behind her had walked back to the counter.
With a resigned sigh, Naruto rubbed her forehead forcing a polite smile onto her face. "I'm sorry I don't mean to be difficult, but I have a feeling this wasn't going to work out" she said with a firm tone.
Naruto watched as the man barely spared her a glance as he took her hand in his own, his grip firm and impersonal.
"No you won't, I let your mother choose this ridiculous coffee shop and I want to prove to her that I'm a suitable candidate as your future mate."
She frowned and forced her hand out of his "I'm Kaito," he replied curtly, his tone already bordering on condescending.
"Naruto" he nodded and Naruto forced down a sigh as she walked back towards the end of the table to where she was sitting.
Kaito didn't seem to like how far she was because as soon as she sat she felt her chair move right next to his, she frowned as she could smell his overpowering ocean scent.
As they sat down at a small table in the corner, Naruto couldn't help but feel a sense of unease creeping over her.
Kaito wasted no time in launching into a monologue about his impressive career, his lavish lifestyle, and his ambitious plans for the future.
But Naruto found herself tuning out his words, her mind wandering as she wondered how she let her parents control her life again.
Her mother liked to set her up with men who were young and wanted babies as she stayed as a home wife while they went out and worked.
But this was worse because she never imagined going out with someone like Kaito made her skin crawl.
As Kaito continued to drone on, Naruto felt a spark of defiance igniting within her.
She refused to be just another trophy wife for some rich man's ego just so her parents can go out to control her once again.
Gathering her courage Naruto interrupted him with her ferm voice and stature
"I'm sorry, Kaito, but I don't think this is going to work out," she said, her words cutting through the air like a knife.
"I'm not interested in being your stepping stool so my parents can notice you."
Kaito blinked in surprise,he had never been rejected even in his young days no one would reject him no matter what.
even now his expression shifted from arrogance to confusion. "Excuse me?" he asked, his tone tinged with annoyance.
"You heard me, I don't want to have babies and live as your housewife. I want an actual genuine relationship with love and respect," Naruto replied, her voice steady just like she had done before.
The day she had was one of the worst and it barely started, she didn't want to deal with this man anymore.
"I will not be just another notch on your belt or another name on your arm at fancy parties."
Kaito was stunned he had known that Naruto was devious and full of trouble but Kushina had expressed that the young blonde was more calm and obedient.
With that, Naruto stood up from the table, like she had done for the past week.
Most of the men she was set up with were like Kaito or would try to butter her up. She hated every second of it.
Naruto met Kaito's stunned gaze head-on. Without another word, she turned on her heel and walked out of the café, leaving Kaito speechless and alone at the table.
