Randomguy0110100100110: I know it's been a long time but I said that because im not really a fan of multiple Mc's and most Destiny Stories has a Female Mc or Gay Male Mc or Multiple Mc's there aren't much stories that have One Male Mc.
And what makes it worse for Me is that It's also a "Harem" . Besides your story there is only one other Destiny Harem Fic.
ThermalsniperN7: If you're talking about my old Hurricane Reaper fic, then that's been abandoned due to progress in how I write.
Dragon Emperor0: We may need to take that one down…
ThermalsniperN7: If I remember, that is.
-Mara Ibrahim, Luna-
Alex's body let a strained metallic creak and groan as the Exo's systems finally came back online after having been sent flying by a cursed thrall literally blowing up in his face.
"Urgh… Okay, I'm gonna start making a list of annoying enemies to kill after that." He grumbled, feeling rightly peeved about getting knocked out by a cursed thrall. Fucking suicide bombers…
"I hear ya." Snake Eyes groaned as he booted up again. "Where are we, anyway?" He asked, looking around. Alex looked around and, from what he could tell, he seemed to be in a room in an Eliksni base. Both Guardian and Ghost were a little confused since they expected to be killed when they were vulnerable. So… What was going on?
That was when an Eliksni slowly made their way inside the hide hole, but upon seeing the four armed alien, Alex was quick to notice something about this particular Fallen.
Namely, that this one was female. She looked to be the size of a Captain (or possibly a Baron, he couldn't tell), but her colors were what threw him off. She had a white bodysuit under red and pink armor, and unless he was mistaken, she didn't seem to have a house to call her own due to the lack of a banner.
Figure wise, she had a nice and slender body that really suited her, DD-cup breasts and a peach shaped ass. She also had four amethyst pink eyes, something that definitely helped her stand out from the others.
"Alex, we should probably back up." Snake said as he got behind his Guardian while the exo pulled out his gun and knife.
However, instead of reaching for her own weapon, the Eliksni woman put her four hands up in a gesture of surrender, before she made a sort of bow–her arms out to her sides.
"Apologies for the unfamiliar setting." She told them, her voice sounding… rather beautiful. "I saw what happened at the Temple of Crota and decided to get you to safety before more Hive arrived." She explained.
"Well I guess I should thank you. Being out cold in front of a Hive stronghold is just asking for death." The Exo shrugged as he put his weapons away. "Who are you, anyway?" He asked.
"A Guardian I knew called me Aphrodite. You can use that if you want." The spider pirate woman explained, introducing herself.
"Well Aphrodite, I happen to be on a mission against the Hive. I'm basically planning to terrorize them however I can." Alex told his newfound Eliksni companion. "I tried to do so from the shadows, but they ended up sniffing me out." He added with a shrug.
"I know a few places you can hit. Come here." The brightly colored alien said, beckoning him to a holotable. Alex walked over and watched as she pressed a button, revealing a holomap of subterranean tunnels. "I used a lot of drones to map all of this out. This is a map of the Hellmouth stronghold, and it's crawling with Hive." She explained as Alex looked it over.
"This is a lot." He hummed before spotting two locations. "Those spots look important. What are they?" He asked.
"The first one is the Shrine of Oryx." Aphrodite replied, pointing at the first and saying the name with a lot of venom in her tone. Alex wondered what was up with that, since he didn't know a lot about the Fallen yet. "That shrine acts as a means of communicating with him, and it's guarded by a Hive that acts as Oryx's eye." She added before pointing at the second one. "The other is the World's Grave, which is where the Hive store all their information. If we want to know more about them, targeting that would be strategic." She explained.
"Hmmm." The Exo hummed as he looked at the map in front of him. "What do you think, Snake? Shrine or the Grave?" The Hunter asked his Ghost.
"I'd say go for the Shrine first. Taking it out will keep the Ascendant Hive unaware of our activities here." Snake replied, getting a nod in return.
"Alright, we'll hit the Shrine." The Exo declared before turning to Aphrodite. "How good can you fight?" He asked.
"I wouldn't be at my current stage if I was a poor fighter." The spider pirate woman chuckled in reply as she brought out a shrapnel launcher.
"Then let's get a move on." The man nodded as before they walked out of their hideout and he summoned his sparrow while Aphrodite got on a modified pike. Then they rode off to shoot up the Hive.
(Later)
Minutes later, the two arrived at another section of the Hellmouth. One that seemed to have a large sphere inside an orbital cage, sending bursts of some kind of energy into deep space at uneven intervals.
"Is this the shrine?" Alex asked.
"Oh yeah it is. I wouldn't forget an ugly construct like this." Aphrodite confirmed with narrowed eyes, recalling the images her drones managed to get.
"Well come on then, let's trash the place." The Hunter said, loading his piece as they ran into the shrine, the cavernous opening of lunar soil echoing with the sound of shrieking Hive and gunfire.
(Elsewhere)
Vulcan sighed as he sat down on the hood of a rusted out Fiat 500, rifle in hand after having just shot down a Hive Tomb ship with his newest weapon.
The weapon in question was a large triple barreled gatling machine gun that had gold and sunset orange colors all over it, with various iconography that seemed similar to the Sunbreakers.
There really didn't seem to be much to do here right now… at least, that's what he thought before he heard footsteps coming toward him from his left. Turning, he saw that female Awoken Hunter from before walking up to him with Randal in tow, surprisingly.
The Titan didn't really move, he just sat there, watching them as they moved onto another part of the Cosmodrome, deciding not to try and pick a fight with a particularly powerful Fallen and a fellow Guardian.
"The Cosmodrome just keeps getting weirder and weirder as time goes on, doesn't it, Vulcan?" Sentry questioned as she bobbed next to her Guardian's shoulder.
"Apparently…" The sunbreaker nodded, shaking his head lightly.
"Do you think they have an arrangement or something? Cuz they seemed… comfortable with each other." The drone noted after figuring out how to describe what she witnessed.
"They could, but that's not our concern." The Lion Sin replied as he got up. "Anything of interest come up?" He asked as he started walking.
Right as Sentry was about to respond…
CRASH!
A Warsat crashed into the Cosmodrome from orbit a fair distance from where they were, causing the two to look at it.
"... Well, there's that." The Ghost said after a beat passed.
"At least something is happening." Vulcan shrugged before making his way to the Warsat.
(Meanwhile)
Back on Luna, both Alex and Aphrodite were currently trying to figure out how the shrine worked and how to destroy it–but their efforts were currently stalled due to them being pinned down by Sardok, The Eye of Oryx and his subordinate Hive.
"Ya know, I kinda figured your drones would be able to report that Sardok is a giant knight!" Alex remarked as he shot a Thrall in the head, causing it and the group it was in to explode.
"Haven't you heard? Cameras on Shanks shave off a few feet from things they see!" The female Baron barked as she lobbed a shock pin grenade at the Hive, causing them to be sent flying by pulses of Arc Light.
The two kept fighting off the Hive while Alex in particular waited for his scythe to fully charge up so he could end this. Spotting an Ogre, Alex fired into its ugly eye and made it explode, taking out some Acolytes that were near it.
Aphrodite, meanwhile, saw a Knight running up to her with a cleaver. Instead of shooting him, she put her Shrapnel Launcher away and brought out a pair of swords before she engaged in sword combat with her opponent.
She practically danced around him, swiftly avoiding every swing sent her way. When she found an opening, she cut his arm off, causing the Knight to roar in pain before the Eliksni woman decapitated him… and then cut down a bunch of Thralls that thought they could overwhelm her.
Seconds later, Alex's Super charged up, allowing him to summon his scythe and rush at Sardok and start attempting to cut him down. Of course, the Eye of Oryx wouldn't go down easily as he attempted to smash the Hunter, but he was too slow to catch the nimble Exo.
Then a cut was delivered to the Hive equivalent of the Achilles tendon in both feet, forcing the giant Knight to his knees. Before he could react, the Void Scythe's blade was around his neck and he was decapitated.
"Okay, I managed to make it vulnerable. Destroy it!" Snake exclaimed as he returned to Alex as the sphere started to glow differently. The duo immediately opened fire on the Shrine and destroyed the sphere, cutting off communication with the Ascendant Hive.
"Phew. That was rough." The Reaper sighed as he leaned against the now destroyed shrine.
"We should try and regroup before we do anything else." His Eliksni companion states. "Do you know a place where we can rest, reprieve?" She questioned.
"I did come across a couple of caves on my way to the Temple of Crota. Any of those should make for decent hiding places for us." The Exo replied as he pushed himself off what was left of the Shrine. "Come on, let's go." He beckoned as he led her out of the stronghold.
As they left the area, they seemed to fail to notice the green orb floating away from the shrine and down a darkened corridor–where a human hand and three glowing green eyes illuminated a pale feminine face in the darkness of the Hellmouth.
Dragon Emperor0: Hey, Eris is alive! That's a relief. Especially when she could've gotten killed by a stray shredder shot or Boomer volley… that's happened to me, multiple times.
ThermalsniperN7: I usually try to keep myself clear of incidents like those with… varying degrees of success. And it looks like that Awoken Hunter from before has something going on with Randal. Wonder what's up…
Dragon Emperor0: Well this is the Destiny universe, there's been weirder coincidences over the course of the campaign.
ThermalsniperN7: True, true. Anyway, yes, the Eliksni Alex has made a partner out of is named after the Greek Goddess of Love herself. It makes sense when you consider her armor's color scheme and eye color.
Dragon Emperor0: Which, fun fact, is based on Eramis and Overly Sarcastic Productions Red's depiction of said Goddess respectively. Hope you enjoy seeing her around. Anyway guys, see you next time.
