*1 day until festival*

A couple of days had passed as Anya was laying in her room as she thought about the upcoming festival which was tomorrow.

"Time sure flies fast. It's the festival tomorrow yet I feel excited yet nervous since I'm gonna be seeing plenty of new faces.." Anya had quietly spoken to herself as she pondered on the events that were gonna transpire tomorrow as she suddenly heard a knock on the door which prompted her to speak.

"Come in…" Anya had responded back in a polite tone of voice as she saw the door opening to reveal her mother which prompted her to sit up.

"Good Evening, my wonderful daughter, are you excited for tomorrow? The festival is surely gonna be quite fun for you and your friend" Anastasia had spoken to her daughter in a gentle tone of voice as she walked over to sit next to her daughter.

"I'm doing wonderful, mother, I'm quite excited for tomorrow since this is something me and my friends had planned for a few weeks but I'm just hoping Judith doesn't ruin it for us since she hates us" Anya had spoken back to her mother as she quickly felt her mother's hand gently touching her shoulder while she waited for a response.

"Don't allow her to ruin tomorrow. It is truly sad that Judith had such an ugly personaity but always respond back with kindness and goodwill however never be afraid in standing up for yourself and others as well" Anastasia had advised to her daughter in a reassuring tone of voice as her advice brought a smile to her daughter's face as the pair shared a warm hug together.

"Thank you, mother. I needed that advice and I'll definitely keep that in mind but how has acting been going for you? I know you have another play in a few weeks so that's gonna be fun" Anya had asked her mother as the pair had released each other from the hug while she waited for her answer.

"You're welcome and acting has been treating me quite well, I've just been going to rehearsals lately but overall things have been good for me" Anastasia had answered back as her response made her daughter nod her head in understandment.

"I'm glad to hear that, mother, I hope you break a leg on your big day in the coming weeks!" Anya had advised her mother as she gave her a smile and a thumbs up which made Anastasia smile back at her daughter.

"Thanks, my little pumpkin. I know we don't talk much since me and your father are always busy but please know that we both love you and Frederick from the bottom of our hearts and that if you guys ever need anyone to talk than we're try our best to be there for you both" Anastasia had advised to her daughter in a warm tone of voice as this brought a sense of comfort to her daughter's face.

"Thank you mom, I honestly needed that reminder…" Anya had simply responded back to her mother as the pair embraced in a warm hug.

"I love you, my sweet Anya" Anastasia had spoken to her daughter as she gave her a small kiss on the forehead which made Anya smile warmly at the events that had transpired.

"I love you too, my wonderful and amazing mother!" Anya had spoken back as she gave her mother a smile and a thumbs up as Anastasia had risen up from the bed.

"I had enjoyed this small talk that we had but I'll leave you be so you could rest up for the big day tomorrow but I hope that you have a wonderful rest!" Anastasia had advised her daughter as she had walked towards the door.

"Same here, I hope that you have a wonderful rest as well, mother, and see you in the morning" Anya had spoken back as the pair shared a smile together as she had seen her mother leaving the room while closing the door behind her thus leaving the young girl in her thoughts once more.

"I wonder how Charlotte and the others are doing right now. For all that I know, they're fast asleep while I'm drowning in my thoughts" Anya had thought to herself while she chuckled at her thoughts as she suddenly rose up from her bed.

"Damn, It's almost the end of the school year, I can't believe that I'm gonna turn sixteen this month as well so It's gonna be quite the development" Anya had spoken to herself as she thought about the possible summer plans and where everyone is heading at as she looked over to see a photo of her friends as she picked up the portrait and had a smile on her face.

"I hope that all of us can see graduation so we can all celebrate together. That's my only wish…" Anya had spoken to herself as she held the portrait tightly as if she's hugging them all.

"I never want to lose my wonderful friends so my only prayer is that we could all see each other graduate in the next year or two. Please make that happen, God" Anya had requested God as she gently placed the portrait back on her desk.

"I should be heading to bed now since I have a rather long but fun day tomorrow…" Anya had spoken to herself as she turned off her lights as she prepared herself for a wonderful rest.

"Let's hope tomorrow is fun and filled with joy…" Anya had thought to herself as she let out a smile before going to sleep with her heart filled with joy and peace due to her eagering awaiting the upcoming festival but more importantly, Her love for her friends and family.
