*Day of the Festival*
*Jackson Private Academy*
Three hours had passed as the festival was still going strong as Emma was with Anya, Helen, and Calvin as they were finding things to do.
"Golly, It sure has been quite a long day but I had a good time with everyone regardless" Anya had spoken out to everyone as she did some stretches in the process while Emma began to speak.
"It sure has been but I'm glad I was able to spend it with the people I care about so that's all that truly matters to me but I'm also running out of things to do as well…" Emma had spoken back to Anya as everyone thought about the next thing they should do in order to pass time until the festival is over.
"I guess we should get some balloons from one of the clowns over there since there isn't much people over there…" Calvin had advised to the group as he pointed over at the ballon booth that was towards his right as his request as met with everyone nodding their heads in agreement.
"Sounds good to me, I'm down for whatever if I'm being frank" Helen had spoken out in support of Calvin's plan as this had made him smile as he began to speak once more.
"Nice, Let's get some balloons before the clowns leave!" Calvin had spoken out to his friends as he and everyone else proceeded to walk towards their destination while Emma stopped in which was noticed by Anya.
"Emma? Anything okay?" Anya had simply asked her friend as her question was met with Emma nodding her head in confirmation much to Anya's relief.
"I'm doing swell! I'm just gonna use the washroom but I'll be back in a jiffy!" Emma had answered back as she let out a smile and a thumbs up to her friend to confirm that she was doing good.
"I'm glad to hear but please stay safe and we'll be waiting for you, okay?" Anya had spoken back to her friend as she saw Emma walking towards the hallways before turning back to catch up with the others
*Hallways*
Emma had just got done washing her hands as she left the bathroom only to be quickly stopped by Judith which caused her to take a few steps back.
"Good afternoon, Emma, It's a pleasure to see you on this beautiful day. How do you do?" Judith had spoken out to Emma as she walked in the bathroom while she locked the door behind her which caused Emma to raise an eyebrow in suspicion.
"J-Judith?! W-What do you want from me? Please leave me alone, okay? I'm trying to have a good day…" Emma had pleaded to her bully in a concerned tone of voice as her request was met with silence as Judith walked closer to Emma before stopping six feet in front of her as tensions in the room were clear as day.
"Nothing but for you to never talk to Anya or anyone ever again, got it? And because if you don't than I'll be sure to tell my father about your little secret…" Judith had spoken back to Emma as she let out a devious smile while she pulled out Emma's diary which made her frozen with fear and anxiety.
"N-No! W-Why do you have that?! Please give that back to me and please don't tell Mr Miller! Please!" Emma cried out in desperation as she attempted to retrieve her diary however Judith quickly held it up in the air as she'd had taken a few steps back.
"What's wrong? Are you afraid that everyone is gonna know about your little crush on Charlotte? Huh? You really are such a freak! You better stay away from Calvin as well or you're gonna be sorry!" Judith cried out in annoyance as she saw tears flowing down Emma's face which made her smile as she heard her speaking.
"Why are you doing this to me? Who gave you the right to look through my personal stuff?! You're truly a cruel person, Judith!" Emma had cried out to her bully in such anger yet sadness as she felt her puffy red cheeks getting more hot due to her current state of emotion while she waited for her answer.
"Simple, I like making people suffer or seeing them fill with dread cause it gives me joy and pleasure but the more correct answer is to get back at you and Anya for getting me in trouble with my father so unless you stay away from your little friends than I won't tell my father about your feelings for Charlotte, okay?" Judith had answered back as she saw Emma nodding her head in agreement in which was music to her ears as she waited for a response.
"Fine, I'll stay away from my friends from this point but as long as you don't tell anyone that I like Charlotte…" Emma had spoken back in defeat as she had no energy to oppose her tormentor any longer.
"Good, Now I'll be destroying this diary while I take the page to which you wrote about your little crush!" Judith had spoken out as this sent a jolt of emotions running across Emma's body as she had seen Judith rip a page out of her diary.
"Please stop! Please give me back my diary!" Emma cried out in desperation as she saw Judith pulling out a match as this caused her eyes to widen in fear.
"Oh, you must allow me to destroy your little precious diary or else I'll spill the beans as well so you better sit there, freak!" Judith snarled at Emma as eventually she set the diary on fire much to Emma's horror.
"NOOOOOOOO!" Emma screamed out as she watched in horror as her only source of venting was being destroyed right in front of her eyes while Judith laughed at her evil doings as tears flowed down on her face.
"Awwww, Is the little baby gonna cry? I sure hope so cause you deserve everything that's happening to you today" Judith had spoken to Emma in a mocking tone of voice while Emma simply sat in the corner sobbing to herself as this indicates that Judith was finished with her work.
"I'll guess I'll be taking my leave now but remember what I said, okay?" Judith had advised Emma for the final time as she attempted to walk away however she noticed Emma standing up from the corner of her eye.
"Why? Why can't you just leave me alone! Why do you always have to ruin things for me! I WAS HAVING SUCH A GOOD DAY AND YOU JUST HAD TO RUIN IT! You're truly a HORRIBLE person!" Emma had screamed at Judith as she quickly ran past Judith so she could exit the bathroom as she eventually made her way outside while still running in the process.
"I don't care anymore! I'm going away from everyone… I don't want my friends to suffer like me just for simply being with me…" Emma thought to herself in such sadness as her goal was to run away from the academy and all that was unknown to her was that Nancy saw her running.
"Emma…" Nancy uttered out in sheer concern as she was left wondering about the wellbeing of her friend as the festival had officially taken a turn for the worst…
