(Day at the Beach)
*June 28th, 1941*
*12:15pm*
*Cliff Beach, San Francisco California*
The skies were clear as the sun was shining across the beautiful Cliff Beach as Anya, Linda, and Alexander were watching the beautiful view.
"This place sure is beautiful and the Cliff House just makes it even better but it sucks that the original house burned down thirty four years ago…" Alexander had spoken out as he was met with nods of agreement from Anya and Linda.
"I have to agree, I remember seeing photographs of how it looked and it was quite beautiful but I believe it's a restaurant now so I guess things kinda did work out" Anya had spoken back as she turned around to see the Playland amusement park in the background as Linda began to speak.
"We should ask our parents if they can allow us to attend the Playland area since it's pretty close to the beach" Linda had spoken to her cousins as she saw Anya and Alexander nodding their heads in support.
"Yeah, we could do that but maybe after we grab a bite to eat since we don't wanna walk around the amusement park with empty stomachs but do you and Anya wanna do some exploring before we eat?" Alexander had advised his sister and cousin as his request was met with both girls nodding their heads in agreement.
"Sure, why not? We have some time to spare so we could do some walking around but let's try not to get lost, okay? I don't wanna have a repeat of when I was only nine years old.." Anya had spoken back to her cousin in a cautious tone of voice as she remembered the event from many years ago while Linda nodded her head in agreement.
"No worries! I'm older than the last time we did exploring so I'll be sure to guide my wonderful sister and cousin to across this beach without any troubles.." Alexander had spoken back while chuckling to himself in the process while Anya simply let out a sarcastic smile.
"Surrre, I'll take your word." Anya had simply responded back in a playful yet sarcastic tone of voice as she, Linda, and Alexander began their exploring as they walked across the lively beach.
"By the way, where's Micheal at? How come he barely hangs out with us? I mean, I don't care but that's something that's been on my mind ever since Anya came here?" Linda had asked her brother while she and the others continued to walk across the beach as her brother began to speak.
"Ehh, Micheal usually does his own thing so he doesn't really hang out with us but I did see him with mother so he's probably with her" Alexander had answered back to his sister as he saw her nod her head in understandment as the trio continued to walk across the Cliff Beach.
"At least we was able to play tennis with him from the other day so that's something we won't have to regret once we all depart in a few weeks" Anya had chimed in as she looked around to see a familiar man sitting on the sand as he waved at her which caught her attention even more.
"Patrick?! What brings you here?! I thought you were in New York?" Anya had greeted the gentleman as she approached him which was followed by Alexander and Linda doing the same.
"Anya, you know him or something?" Alexander simply asked his cousin as he was met with Anya smiling back as she began to speak.
"Of course, He's a good friend of my best friend's mother and his name is Patrick." Anya had answered back as she introduced Patrick to her cousins as the greetings began.
"Oh? That's a relief. I honestly thought he was some creep but my name is Linda and it's nice to meet you" Linda had spoken to Patrick as she gently shook hands with the young man while Alexander followed suit.
"And my name is Alexander. It's quite the honor to meet someone whom my cousin knows so I hope I can set a good example" Alexander had spoken to Patrick as well while both men shook hands together.
"I must say the same for you guys. You people seem just as polite as Anya so it's quite a nice introduction. I must say" Patrick had spoken back to the pair as he saw the trio sitting down so they could talk to him.
"I'm glad that my cousins were able to make you feel welcome but what brings you back to San Francisco? I thought you were gonna stay in New York" Anya had asked Patrick in a curious tone of voice as she waited for an answer.
"I just thought that I'd pay this beautiful city a visit once more and I can also use this moment to brush on my art skills but how's Charlotte been?" Patrick had answered back as his comments caused Anya to nod her head in understandment before she spoke once more.
"That's wonderful to hear and Charlotte has been doing great these days but going back to the artist thing, What type of art do you usually do? I'm quite curious to know" Anya had spoken back while waiting for her answer as the man began to speak.
"Usually paintings! Beautiful ones as well and that's usually the type of art that I invest myself in" Patrick had spoken back as Anya and the others nodded their heads in understandment as Linda began to speak.
"You're an artist? That's nice to hear. I'm glad that you're able to live your dreams without any judgements" Linda had spoken to Patrick as this made him smile as he nodded his head in agreement.
"Thanks, I hope that I can show those I love all of the work that I've done so It actually gives me motivation to see people being happy with my success" Patrick had spoken back to Linda as he saw the young girl smiling back at him as he began to stand up.
"Leaving already? If so then it was quite the pleasure in getting to know you" Alexander had spoken out as Patrick nodded his head.
"Unfortunately I must take my leave since I have other things to take care of but it was quite the pleasure in chatting with you guys" Patrick had spoken back as he and everyone else were prepared to say their farewells.
"I completely understand but It was wonderful seeing you again! I hope we can meet once more" Anya had cried out as she and her cousins waved Patrick goodbye as the trio saw Patrick departing from the beach.
"Say, do yall wanna have lunch at the Cliff house? I'm getting quite hungry from all that talking" Alexander had spoken out to his sister and cousin as he chuckled to himself as both girls nodded their heads in support.
"Of course, I was gonna say the same thing as well so let's hurry back the others" Anya had answered back in an excited tone of voice as she, Alexander, and Linda ran towards their destination with more plans to have fun before the day was over.
