HEROES OF TOMORROW

Issue #27: Dorms and Upgrades

Dan looked at All Might with a scowl, while the form Hero sat patiently on the other side of the table. It was the day of Dan's 'prison transfer', and before he was to be taken to Tartarus, All Might wanted to talk to him about Wade. At first, he wanted to tell him about the school's decision to have the students move into a dorm built on UA's property.

However, Dan wasn't interested in the dorms. He had something else on his mind.

One for All. The power that All for One, Daniel's former 'master,' wanted. He targeted Wade in the first place to get the power, and the father wanted to know what it was and why All for One was so willing to risk coming out into the open to get it.

All Might knew the fighter deserved the truth, so he gave it to him. He told him about the power, its origins, and how Wade came to become his successor. The conversation took less than thirty minutes until the hero was done explaining. Daniel just sat there and took it all in until it was over. He said nothing, except for a few simple questions. Allowing All Might to tell him the story.

After a moment of silence, Daniel sighed and rubbed his face, his arms shackled for safety measures. "You're telling me that the power that All for One is after was passed down to Wade by you?" He asked, his tone showing how much he was trying to restrain his anger at the hero.

"I know that you must have a lot of questions," All Might started, but was interrupted by the father.

"'A lot of questions?' My son has a Quirk that a madman is after. What other questions could I have besides 'What were you thinking'?!" Daniel yelled, standing up and pacing around the room.

"Not anymore. All for One is locked away and can't hurt your son," All Might said, trying to calm the worried father down. However, it did little to ease him.

"And what about Shigaraki? The guy's coming after me for helping you and shooting his master. What's to stop him from going after Wade? And if what you said is true, that your powers are all gone, how will you protect him?" Daniel asked, anxious at the thought of that manchild attacking his son. Did he even know about the power until the night of the attack? What precautions was the school taking to ensure the League never got close enough to the students? With All Might's retirement, the villains would become much bolder.

So many worries and questions ran through Daniel's head. Before his 'death,' all he had to be concerned about was Wade getting into fights and getting into trouble. The last time Daniel was scared to death about his son's safety was after he was kidnapped. He was so scared that similar villains or those associated with them would try to harm him. As years passed, and as Dan protected his community during his vigilante days, his fears slowly dissipated. Of course, the father was scared of Wade getting caught in the middle of a villain attack.

However, those old fears had returned in greater force.

Sighing in defeat, Daniel sat down in his chair. "And the worst thing is that I can't do anything to protect him," he said, looking down at the table. "Seeing what All for One did to you…I can't stop myself but think of Wade being in your place. I can't thank you enough for being there for Wade and teaching him as his teacher. But as a father, I'm terrified. It's evident that Wade's following your path, and I do not doubt that with his Spider-Quirk, he'll be an amazing Hero. Even as a kid, I knew he was something special. But with One for All, Wade's future will be filled with blood and pain."

All Might looked at the father with an understanding expression. He couldn't imagine the anxiety going through Daniel's mind. As a father, his first priority was Wade. "Indeed, and I'm sorry for all the hardships Wade has endured. I've allowed so much harm to come to him. I've failed him as a Hero. However…"

The retired Hero then surprised Daniel by standing up. Standing tall, he turned into his super form.

"As I've told Inko Midoriya, I believe your son will be the right person to succeed me. As I've watched him grow, I've seen how he's not just an aspiring Hero following in my footsteps. If there's one thing that I can tell you, Mr. Walker, it's that Wade's on his own path toward greatness. That is why I chose him to become the world's next Symbol of Peace. And as his teacher, I wish to walk beside him. I know I've failed him, but as his teacher, I'll be free of my mistakes as a young hero."

Daniel looked at the former hero in amazement. However, All Might couldn't keep his form up and turned back into his deflated form.

"The teachers at UA know that things can't continue as they've been. We're committed to ensuring the safety of our students from here on out. It's our top priority. Look not at the current UA, but toward the future. Will you allow me to devote myself to Young Wade? Together, we will go beyond. I will lift him up and protect your son, even if it costs me my life."

The two men stared at one another in silence, with Daniel in complete awe at the Hero for perhaps the first time. For the longest time, Daniel knew that All Might was a special Hero to everyone, including his son. However, he would be the first to admit that even with his heroics and powers, the pro-fighter never saw him as anything special other than another ultra-power superhuman. And yet, here he was, that same hero, a shell of his former self, promising to protect his son. And for the first time in his life, Daniel was left in stunned amazement at All Might. Not just because he said some nice and encouraging words. Any hero could say those words.

No, Daniel knew All Might meant everything that he said.

"You and I both know that my son's too stubborn to let his old man worrying about him stop him," Daniel said, smirking. He sighed and continued. "It's been two years, and I've missed so much of my son's life. I missed him going to UA and winning the Sports Festival…while I was off playing a villain. Honestly, I'm jealous of you."

"What happened wasn't your fault," All Might said, standing back up.

"Yeah? Tell that to my conscience." Daniel stood up from his chair and gave All Might a severe expression. "Wade has been my reason for living, All Might. He's why I dragged myself out of bed every morning and threw myself in the ring—just to provide for him. I didn't care about myself. I just wanted Wade to be happy, yet safe."

He then looked down at his hands and the shackles binding them together.

"I can't do that anymore. I want to. God knows I want to see my son and be a part of his life again. But I can't, not anymore, not yet," he said, looking depressed at the reality of his situation. Then, Daniel looked at All Might again. "Wade needs you. To protect and raise him. Be there for him when I can't. So, please. Take care of my son."

All Might gave the father a look of determination. "I promise," he said, recalling his and Wade's conversation on the beach. The former Hero recited the pledge he gave Wade as he hugged the boy. "I will devote myself to his training. Whether he likes it or not, Wade's stuck with me."

Hearing All Might's words brought Daniel relief and comfort. "Thank you."

There was a knock at the door, cutting the men's conversation. The door opened, and Sansa came into the room. "It's time, Mr. Walker," he said.

Giving the cop a nod, Daniel looked at All Might and said, "Did you give Wade what we promised?"

"I did," All Might said, nodding to the father.

Hearing that, Daniel took in a deep breath and exhaled it. This was it, the moment he's been waiting for. "Let's do this. Good thing it's raining outside."

"And that's how it happened," said Wade, standing before a dry-erase board, holding a marker. Having just explained his Spider Quirk, how he got it, and where it came from. And when he was finished explaining it to his classmates, everyone was…just silent.

It was only a few hours after Wade and the other students arrived at the dorms set up on the school grounds. After being attacked by the League of Villains twice in one school year, UA brought its students to live on campus to keep them safe. Wade and his class were the main reason for the decision, as they were the ones that had seen the most villain attacks.

Each student dormitory holds one class. The girls were on the right, and the boys were on the left. The first floor consisted of a common area with a kitchen, separate bathrooms, and laundry rooms. The building was spacious, and there was even a courtyard. For some, like Wade and Ochaco, it was like living in a mansion.

Class 1-A's dorm was called Heights Alliance, and it was a five-minute walk from the main school building.

The living quarters were on the upper floors, with four boys and four girls on each level. Everyone was given a bedroom, with each being big enough for them to be comfortable. They had an AC, toilet, fridge, closet, and balcony.

In the words of Momo, the rooms were about the same size as her closet. The school already set the students' belongings inside their respective rooms. All they had to do was unpack.

After Wade had finished setting up his room, he was confronted by his girlfriends, Iida, Kirishima, and Todoroki. They claimed they and Bakugo heard his conversation with All for One, surprising Wade. Knowing he had to come clean to his classmates, he said he would explain everything. However, Iida said everyone in the class should know, as it would only be fair. So, he and others gathered everyone into the living room of the dorm house. Bakugo had to be dragged out of his room.

And then, Wade laid it all out for them. The origins of his powers, the Stark Industry briefcase, the recording Peter gave him, and he explained his he had gotten bitten by the spider. Needless to say, everyone was very surprised by the story Wade told them.

"Wait, so you're saying that you got bitten by a spider—from another dimension—and it gave you your Quirk?" Asked Kaminari. Just saying that out loud was alien to him, as it was to everyone else.

"Well…a spider that was experimented on in a lab, but yeah," Wade said, shrugging.

"How are you not freaked out about this?!" Mineta shouted.

"How do you think I felt when I got the power?" Wade pointed to himself. "I was just told that I not only had a new Quirk, but that the multiverse was real and that there were other Spider-Men like me! That's a lot to take in."

"Yeah, I think anyone would be freaking out at that," Jiro said, twirling her earphone jack. "But does that mean that there are other versions of us?"

"It would make sense. We're talking about the multiverse," Ojiro said, sweating a little at the thought of other variants of himself.

"It also explains why Aizawa Quirk didn't cancel out your power as well," Tokoyami said, remembering the tests Aizawa had them do during the first day of class.

"So why keep it a secret?" Ochaco asked.

Wade gestured to her and the others. "Would any of you have believed me?"

Mina was about to say something and raised her finger to answer. However, she stopped and thought about her answer. "Okay, point taken."

"So what was that villain talking about? About taking away your… 'second Quirk'?" Momo asked, looking at her beloved worriedly.

"I'm not sure," Wade said, frowning. He hated lying, especially to his girlfriends. But he had to. "He could have been mistaking my other abilities for separate Quirks, instead of all stemming from one."

The others accepted this explanation. It is true that with all of Wade's numerous abilities, one could surmise that the boy had multiple Quirks.

However, this same idea wasn't shared by one person.

Bakugo stood off to the side of the room, looking at Wade.

"All Might has chosen well."

Those were the words that super strong villain said. Wade had a second Quirk, and it was that power he wanted. What All for One said had plagued Bakugo's mind since that night. Ever since All Might, the man he wanted to surpass, retired.

When All Might and Aizawa came to his house to ask his parents about allowing him to stay at the dorm, Bakugo walked outside to talk to the retired Hero. It was surreal to see him in his deflated state. The young man asked All Might what Wade was to him.

All Might answered that the bug was his student, just like him. A fledging hero with bright prospects.

Bakugo knew it was a lie. However, he let it go. If All Might didn't want to tell him, so be it. But he will get the answers he wanted, whenever he wanted them.

He turned and walked away. "I'm going to bed."

Wade looked at him with a confused expression. Watching as Bakugo turned his back to him and walked away. He was expecting his rival to attack him, verbally or physically. Bakugo's been spouting how he didn't have a Quirk throughout the first semester and wanted to get back at Wade for all the times he's lost to him. Learning that he didn't have a Quirk was his chance, yet he'd instead nap.

"Yeah, I agree with Bakugo," Kirishima said, yawning. "I'm beat."

"You and me both," Sero said. "All this unpacking and multiverse stuff. It's exhausting."

"I know we could have died, but it's kind of exciting to be living here," Kaminari said with a big smile.

"Hell yeah." Wade nodded with a grin. "We're out of the house and living on our own…kind of."

"It's the perfect way to increase our cooperation and discipline," said Iida, making weird arm-waving motions, as usual. "How smart!"

"So you never relax," Kirishima commented.

Wade picked up the Stark Industries briefcase and prepared to walk away. "Right, well, I'm going to hit the sack too. I'll see you guys in the morning."

"Wait up!" Mina jumped up to her feet with an excited smile. "The girls and I were talking and…

"We have a great idea!" Hagakure exclaimed with an excited voice.

"Let's go 'round and see who has the coolest room!"

Some boys, like Wade, Tokoyami, and Mineta, went white as a ghost.

"Wait! Hold on! Ladies, please!" Wade pleaded and begged the girls as they dragged him to his room. The boys followed behind, amused and eager to know what Wade's room was like if he was freaking out like this. "Let's talk this out!"

But it was too late. Ochaco grabbed the door handle and let everyone inside.

Disorganized would be the polite way of describing Wade's room. While it looked like he tried to be neat and tidy, he seemed to give up halfway through. There were posters of animes and Western cartoons, and a large draw eraser board over his desk, which had some notes about his suit. There was a small bookshelf with some of his textbooks inside it. On his desk were his laptop and an extra monitor. Piled on his dresser were comics. Wade had dropped some clothes on the floor while moving them into the closet. His bed was barely made, having only his folded blankets on the mattress.

"Wow, neatness is not your strongest suit, is it?" Ochaco asked, looking at Wade with a teasing smile.

Wade blushed with embarrassment and turned his head away. "Oh, come on. It's not like the other guy's rooms are any better," he mumbled.

However, as he looked around, Kaminari noticed a Lego set on Wade's desk. But not just any Lego set. An Ultimate Collectors Series set of the Razor Crest from Star Wars: The Mandalorian. "Oh, cool Lego set."

"Kaminari, please don't—" But it was too late. The blonde boy picked up the Lego set before it slipped from his hands. Breaking on impact with the ground.

Wade looked at the broken mess of bricks and pieces in horror as everyone winced and cringed. "Oh, I'm so sorry, man, I didn't mean…." Kaminari tried to apologize to Spider-Man.

"It took me days to build that by myself…."

"Look, I can help-"

"Get out."

"Okay."

Up next was Tokoyami's room.

"No way," said the bird boy as he leaned on his door with his arms crossed and eyes closed. Refusing to allow anyone into his room. But Mina and Hagakure weren't taking no for an answer. Together, and pushed him out of the way and onto the floor when he refused to move. Allowing them to open his room's door.

Dark and brooding was Tokoyami's style, and it showed in his room, which he filled with occult decorations, posters of death metal bands, and skull and candle-shaped lanterns that shone purple lights.

"So dark and scary!" Mina and Hagakure screamed.

Tokoyami trembled. "You fiends..."

Kirishima picked up a demonic-looking cross keychain. "Oh man, I had one of these when I was in middle school."

"So this is how boys like to decorate," Mina said, looking around the dark room. It was difficult to see anything.

"Please leave," Tokoyami grumbled.

Wade spotted something in the darkness. "Oh, sweet! A sword!"

"GET OUT!"

"Alright, alright, Jordan Peele." Wade held up his hands.

Next was Aoyama. The moment Wade opened the door, he recoiled and covered his eyes. "Ah! Shit, man! My eyes!"

If there was any indication that the blonde boy was full of himself, it was his room. There were so many mirrors in the room. There was even a disco ball and a suit of armor, of all things! Other than that, the room was a combination of white and blue.

"Aren't you dazzle?" Aoyama asked, standing in his room, posing.

The students could only describe the room in one word: "Shiny…."

"Non, non. It's not shiny." Aoyama wagged his finger at the others with a superior smile. "It's…mag…ni…fique—"

"Exactly what I pictured," Hagakure stated as she and the other students started exiting the bedroom.

"Honestly, I was expecting more," said Mina as she and Momo held hands with Wade.

"Like a giant poster of himself, signed by himself." Wade quipped, earning giggles from the pink girl and Momo.

"I can see that happening," Momo said, trying to cover her smile with her hand.

Ochaco ran over to join her boyfriend and the other girlfriends. "This is turning out to be really fun!" She said with a bounce in her step and what same radiating smile. "The last person on this floor is…."

Everyone stopped and turned around when they felt a dark aura coming from the last door down the hallway. The sinister feeling that made the skin of every girl crawl was none other than Mineta leering at them like a lecherous madman. The pervert was peeking out of his door, which was open just a crack to allow him to look at the female students. "Come on in, girls…I've got so much to show you." He said, beckoning them to come forth.

Wade slammed the door on the pervert and sealed it with his webbing. Then he quickly grabbed Ochaco's hand and led her and his girlfriends away. "Yeah, let's just keep going," he said. The others agreed, and everyone followed him up to the third floor.

The first person on the third floor was Ojiro.

"Huh, not too bad," Wade said with a smile as he looked around the bedroom.

Mina and Ochaco looked at him like he was crazy. "Really? But it's so bare in here!" The gravity girl said. Truthfully, Ojiro's room had so little personality other than what was already in it when they moved in.

"Did you move anything in at all?" Hagakure asked the tail boy.

"Please tell me you just haven't unpacked yet," Mina said.

Dejected with a tear in the corner of his eye, Ojiro looked over his shoulder with a smile. "Um, if we're done here, then let's go."

Iida's room was elegant and organized. As expected from the Class Rep. There was a giant bookshelf crammed up against one wall with tons of novels, and over his dresser were shelves of prescription glasses. All of the same design.

"It's like a library in here!" Hagakure exclaimed.

"That's the class rep for you!" Mina said with a grin.

Iida invited the class inside. "You'll find nothing odd here," he said, proud.

Wade snickered and picked up one of the hundreds of glasses. "You mean other than the glasses? Seriously, you could make a living selling these," he said jokingly.

"Sorry, Wade. But I expect to destroy them all during training!" He said intensely. Wade looked at him with envy. It must be nice to afford to break multiple glasses like it was nothing.

Kaminari's room was far from impressive. Sure, it was more decorated than Ojiro's room and cleaner than Wade's, but it was filled with designer clothes and Gucci items that someone would have if they wanted to make themselves look cooler and more stylish than they really were.

"Someone's overcompensating for something." Wade quipped.

"Yeah. This is the store in the mall I avoid," said Jiro.

Hearing this shocked Kaminari. "W-What? It's perfect."

"Right. That leopard skin blanket just screams 'My life is going great,'" Wade said rhetorically as he walked towards the door. However, he stopped when he saw a rack of 'fashionable' hats hanging from a wall.

He used his finger to lift it off its hook. He then let it go, letting the rack fall to the ground and break apart. Looking back at the blonde boy, who was speechless, Wade said, "Consider us even."

Koda's room was much coziest, with lime green blankets and currents. However, there was one thing that got everyone's attention. "He has a rabbit! It's so cute!" squealed Ochaco and Mina, who were wearing Iida's glasses for some reason.

Both girls petted the white rabbit as Kaminari looked at Koda with a jealous scowl. "Hey, no fair. We don't get pets. You're trying to buy the judge's love!"

Wade exited the room, scratching his head with an embarrassed chuckle. "Man, everyone's really getting into the competition," he said, knowing he would likely lose the contest.

"Yeah, and it sucks," said Kaminari. The lightning user and Ojiro, Tokoyami, and Aoyama were pouting. "I feel so judged right now."

"Hey, what a coincidence. I don't feel great. At all," grumbled Ojiro.

Tokoyami added. "Same here."

"Et moi," Aoyama said.

That's when the little pervert, Mineta, makes his appearance. Walking down the hall towards the group, he said, "That's because the boys are the only ones getting picked on. They said it was a contest to see who had to coolest dorm room." He then pointed at the girls. "But what about them?! We must see the girls' rooms to tell which one's best. We should hold their interior design skills to the same standards as ours. Maybe even higher—"

"How the hell did you get out of your room?" Wade asked, looking at the boy suspiciously with his arms crossed.

"That's not important! They need to show us their rooms too! It's only fair!" Mineta shouted. It was a surprisingly convincing argument. The fact that it was Mineta, of all people, who made it was even more surprising. Wade suspected the little boy was using it as an excuse to see into the girls' dorm rooms. However, whether it was true or not, it stoked the competitive spirit of the others.

"I'm into it!" Mina said, clapping her hands together with a bright smile. Wade and Jiro looked at her in surprise. "Okay, so, like, what are the rules? Are we figuring out who has the best taste in the class, or just the overall coolest?"

"Wait, you really want to do this?" Wade asked. He then noticed Mineta drooling to himself with a lecherous grin. "What the fuck are you drooling about?!"

Mineta screamed in fear and hid behind Kaminari.

"Uh, this doesn't have to be a contest," said Ojiro.

Todoroki thought about it for a moment. "I'm over it. What about you, Wade?"

Wade considered his options. On the one hand, the others already judged him for having a messy room, which was fair. But on the other hand, his three girlfriends looked interested in doing the contest. Each of them was a reason to go along with it. If it was what they wanted to do, then he'll support it.

"Eh, why not?" Wade shrugged his shoulders. "I'm not gonna win, so why not see what everyone else's got?"

And so it was. The very first Class 1-A Best Room contest got its start. Even the most uninterested got involved, except for Bakugo, who was sleeping. Together, the classmates went up to the 4th floor.

"Let's see, who else is on the fourth floor?" Ochaco wondered as she went over whose rooms they would see next for the boys. "It's Bakugo, Kirishima, and Shoji, right?"

"Best not to wake Bakugo. I could catch a few Z's myself," Kirishima said, yawning in exhaustion.

Hagakure and Mina ran past the redhead. "Then we'll do your room first!" Said the invisible girl.

"Yeah, you can sleep afterward!" Mina said, dragging Wade along with her.

When the class reached the door, Kirishima turned the door handle. However, he stopped and looked back at the other teenagers. "Okay, so that you know, you may not get what I'm going with here." He warned them before allowing his classmates into his room.

When Wade looked into the room, the one thing that came to his mind was the gym he and his father used to go to. Motivational strength posters were on every wall, including workout gear. There was even a punching bag. "A den of manliness!" Kirishima said with a grin on his face.

Mina simply nodded while Hagakure said, "If I found out my boyfriend had a room like this, I'd dump him." Ojiro will remember this.

Kirishima was discouraged by the comments given to him. However, Wade smiled at him. "I think it's terrific. Reminds me of the gym near my old house."

"Makes me want to work out!" Ochaco exclaimed with a big smile and her fist pumped.

With a tear in his eye, Kirishima gave them a thumbs up. "Guys, get it!"

Next up was Shoji, and he said, "You're not gonna find anything interesting here."

That turned out to be an understatement. There was nothing at all in Shoji's room. Just a futon to sleep on, a small desk that was low to the ground, and a small pillow to sit on.

"Uh…more like nothing at all, dude," Mina said.

"So, you're a minimalist, huh?" Todoroki asked the multi-limbed boy.

"I've just never understood why someone would wanna fill their room with junk," Shoji replied.

Mineta went over to Shoji's bed to peek under it. "Guys like this always have a super pervy side." He was shot in the back of the head with a web-line and yanked out of the room.

"Alright! Let's head up to the fifth floor!" Mina exclaimed, walking towards the elevator.

"I think Sero's up first," Wade said. Hearing this, the tape boy grinned.

When they got to his room, Wade and the others were amazed to see that Sero had decorated his room with what looked to be African-style art and furniture. Giving Sero's room a genuinely exotic esthetic.

"Exotic!" Mina exclaimed.

"It's lovely!" Ochaco added.

Jiro looked at the tape user as he grinned proudly. "Sero, I didn't peg you for someone who'd like this stuff."

Sero chuckled and said. "Yup, that's me, always the wild card."

"Let's keep moving," said Hagakure.

Momo thought momentarily, then she announced, "Next is Todoroki's room, right?" Saying that got the attention of everyone. Next to Wade, he was the most capable student in the class, being a person with two Quirks. Everyone was getting the chance to glance into his quiet private life.

Todoroki sighed and opened the door to his room. "Let's get this over with. It's late," he said. No one could believe what they saw on the other side of that door.

"SO JAPANESE!" The Japanese students shouted. And they were right, as Todoroki had transformed the entire room into the inside of a traditional Japanese home.

"It was even built differently!" Kaminari yelled.

Todoroki told the others, "We've got these kinds of floor mats at my home. They're much more comfortable than hardwood."

Wade stepped into the room and wiggled his feet on the floor. "Ooh, that is nice." He said with a pleasantly pleased smile. "But wait, how did you remodel this entire room in just one day?!"

"...With hard work."

Wade sweatdropped. "R-Right," he said, deciding not to question how he was really about to do that. In just a few hours, nonetheless. "So, that makes Sato the last of the guys, right?"

Hearing that, Sato became flustered. Nonetheless, he allowed the others into his room. They were some cooking supplies out, but other than that, nothing out of the ordinary. "Anyway, it's a pretty boring room."

"Yeah, all of them are compared to Todoroki," Wade said jokingly. He then smelt something delicious coming from a small oven in the room. "Something smells good, though. Watcha making?"

Sato panicked a little, realizing he had forgotten about what was in the oven. "Oh, crap! I finished unpacking early, so I started baking a chiffon cake. I thought we could all eat it together," he said, opening the oven door and slipping on a pair of mittens. "It hasn't been iced yet, but you want some?"

The girls instantly and eagerly agreed.

"That's it for the boys," said Hagakure after eating the cake. "Now it's our turn, ladies."

"Aw, man, that's so many rooms. Shouldn't we turn in?" Jiro complained as they went back down to the second floor.

"Come on, Jiro, live a little!" Mina said, eager to show off her room to her boyfriend.

First up was the punk rocker herself. "It's kind of embarrassing," said Jiro as she opened the door. The kids were amazed to see her room. There was a shelf full of records and CDs. Guitars, an electric piano, a drum set, and amplifiers were there. She even painted the ceiling and the floor in a checkered style.

"Whoa! You got so many instruments!" Kaminari exclaimed, completely shocked.

"That's because Jiro's totally punk rock," Hagakure said.

"Can you play all of these?" Ochaco asked as the music Hero blushed and tapped the ends of her jack together.

"Uh, yeah. Just a little," Jiro said sheepishly.

Kaminari then said to Aoyama. "Your room's girlier than this."

"Because I've got style." Aoyama gloated, blowing his own trumpet.

His and Kaminari's comment got both of them jabs in the ears by Jiro's jacks. "We're done here." She growled.

"Next is me!" Hagakure jumped with excitement. Opening her door, she invited everyone into her room. "Welcome in, guys! What do you think?"

Ojiro was speechless when he saw the invisible girl's room. It was adorable, with most of the furniture being pink and with plushies almost everywhere.

"Now, this is girly," Kaminari said. "So much pink…."

Mineta walked over to her dresser and sniffed at it. "Plus Ultra…"

"Get away from there, Mineta, you perv!" Hagakure yelled, fuming. This got him a good beating from the others before moving on.

"We can do mine next!" Mina said, grabbing Wade's hand and bringing him to her room. When the acid girl brought the web-slinger into the room, he saw that, much like Hagakure's room, the pink girl decorated hers with furniture and items that matched the color of her skin. "Ta-dah! Isn't it super cute?"

She then leaned into Wade's ear.

"Feel free to visit whenever you want~."

Wade's face instantly turned red with embarrassment, realizing the implications his girlfriend was giving him. Seeing his face made Mina giggle. He was pulled out of the awkward moment when Ochaco grabbed his hand and pulled Wade away. Blushing, as well as her boyfriend.

She brought him over to her room and opened the door. Bringing him inside as the others followed. "Yeah, it's not very interesting, I know," Ochaco said sheepishly, as her room had everything she ever owned, which wasn't much.

Ojiro turned to Wade and asked, "Is this okay? It feels dirty seeing so many girls' rooms up close. This is their private space."

"Yeah, but they're the ones letting us inside," Wade said, still blushing. "Next up is Tsu."

The others looked around for the frog girl, thinking she would guide them. However, Tsuyu was nowhere to be seen.

"Where is Tsu? Haven't seen her." Sero said, which was true for everyone.

Ochaco walked up to her boyfriend and said, "She said that she wasn't feeling too good. So, she's in her room."

"Alright, let's not bother her," Wade said, smiling as he understood the frog girl wanting to sleep off whatever bothered her.

"She'll show us later when she's feeling better," Momo said, walking over to Wade and grabbing her boyfriend's hand. Like the other girls he was dating, she pulled him behind her and guided him to her bedroom.

However, as they left, Ochaco stayed back and looked at the door next to her room. It was Tsu's room. After Aizawa told Ochaco and those who went to rescue Wade that he knew about it, Tsu seemed to just shut down entirely and pretty much disappeared. Not even when Wade explained the origins of his powers did she come out of her room.

When Ochaco went to get her, Tsu said she wanted to be alone. However, before she left, the gravity girl was stopped when her friend asked her to do a favor.

Her request was odd, but Ochaco agreed to do it. She wanted to talk to her and discover what was bothering her. However, until she could talk to Tsu, Ochaco turned and left to join the others.

Not noticing the door to Tsu's room cracking open, peeked out, and watched at her.

"Alright, you're the last one up, babe," Wade said to Momo, making her blush.

Sheepishly, she looked at the others and said, "The thing is… I… might have miscalculated a few things. My room's a little bit more cramped than I intended. And maybe not as creative as some of yours."

Momo allowed everyone inside the room. However, they were stunned to see a massive and lavish king-size bed blocking the way to her balcony. A bookshelf and a tri-folded mirror on her desk gave everyone the impression that this was a princess's bedroom.

"Holy cow! You were able to fit that bed in here?!" Wade exclaimed, wide-eyed in shock.

"It's my furniture from home, so I thought it would fit. I have no idea how small these dorm rooms would end up being," Momo said, looking so cute to Wade and the others as she looked embarrassed by her lack of foresight.

It was moments like these that reminded everyone of how rich Momo was.

With everyone's rooms being seen, it was time for the class to vote for who had the best room in the dorm. Each of the kids wrote down their votes on a piece of paper and placed it into a yellow box Mina was holding. When the last person cast their vote, the pink girl stepped back. "Alright, everybody! Has everyone got their votes in? Remember, you can't pick yourself, guys." Mina told everyone. Not wanting to have a repeat of when they tried voting for class representative.

Mina pulled out the votes and started counting who got the most votes. Everyone watched with anticipation, eager to see who had the best room.

"And now, without further ado, here are the results of the first Best Room competition, minus Bakugo and Tsu. Drumroll, please!"

Wade opened YouTube, looked up a video with a drumroll, and played it.

"Thanks, babe." Mina looked at the list of names she had made and looked at the one with the most votes. "With a total of five votes, the overwhelming winner of this totally awesome contest is…. Rikido Sato!"

"Uh?" Confused and surprised all at once, Sato pointed to himself.

"By the way, all the girls voted for you because…that cake was delicious," Mina said, drooling at the thought of that cake Sato made. "I want some more."

"That's why?!"

"You villain!" Mineta and Kaminari shouted as they started hitting the sugar hero. "Aspiring heroes shouldn't resort to bribery!"

"It wasn't on purpose! But what the heck?!" Sato shouted, taking the beating, which did little to hurt him as they weren't hitting him too hard.

Wade watched the chaos from the side with an exasperated smile. A little jealous that his girlfriends didn't vote for him, Spider-Man only had himself to blame. That'll teach him not to have an unclean room. The first thing tomorrow was collecting all of the Lego pieces and tidying his room.

Plus, that cake was awesomely delicious.

"Is this over? Can I sleep now?" Todoroki asked as he stood beside Wade and Iida.

"Yes, and since you had cake, make sure to brush your teeth!" Iida told the hot-cold hero while making a brushing motion.

"Thanks for sticking it out," Wade said to his friend, yawning. He, too, was ready for bed.

"Hey! Babe, Todoroki, Iida, wait a minute." The three friends were stopped when Wade's girlfriend, Ochaco, called out to them. The boys looked at her in confusion. "You guys got a moment? Momo, Mina, Kirishima, you too. It's really important."

Wade looked at her in confusion. Nonetheless, he followed Ochaco with the others outside. Stepping out into the night.

"So, uh. What's going on…?" Wade trailed off when he saw someone standing under the lamp's light in front of the dorm.

Tsuyu Asui.

"Tsu said she wanted to tell us something," Ochaco said, walking up to the frog girl, who kept her head down.

The others gathered before Tsuyu, waiting to hear what she had to say.

"You guys know I'm pretty straightforward, and always speak what's on my mind. But sometimes… I don't know. I'm at a loss." Tsu looked down, ashamed. She then looked at Wade sadly. "I'm sure the others have told you about the fight in the hospital, Wade. About wanting to go after you."

Wade frowned, remembering what Todoroki had told him, how some opposed going out and saving Wade. "Yeah, I heard." He glanced a glare at Iida, who looked away, slightly embarrassed. Even if the speedster stood by his opposition, he was still a bit ashamed of some of the things that he said. However, Spider-Man also knew that Tsuyu was also opposed to the rescue.

"My heart was hurting when you were taken away, Wade. And knowing the things I said must've upset all of you." Tsu said, looking down at the ground as her hair shadowed her eyes.

Ochaco placed a hand on her back. "It's okay, Tsu."

Tsu shook her head. "Despite my warning, you all still went and saved Wade. I didn't know that until this morning," she said as the others looked at her with sad and worried expressions. "I thought I'd stopped you. But it turned out I was worthless. A complete failure. And suddenly, I had no idea what to say. I didn't think I deserved to joke around and have fun with everyone like usual. But…."

Tsu looked up at her friends, revealing her tears.

"It made me so sad to be without you."

"Tsu…" Wade gasped.

"That's why I wanted to talk to you. Even if I'm still not sure how I'm supposed to feel, I wanted you to know so we can hang out and talk and have a good time again." Tsu finished as she started crying. Ribbing with each sob.

Everyone looked at the frog girl in shock and sadness. Ochaco tried comforting Tsu by rubbing her back. "It's not just you who thinks that. That's why we did the room contest: to bring us closer together and make us feel like a class again. It's all we could come up with, so please, don't think we were trying to trick you or anything."

"She's right," Wade said, walking up to the frog girl and smiling as best he could for her. Tsu looked up at Spider-Man, only to be surprised when Wade hugged her. "I will admit, I was hurt that you didn't want to try and rescue me, but I will never hold that against you. None of us will. You're not worthless. You're an amazing girl who will be an amazing Hero and an incredible friend, and I wouldn't want to lose you either."

Hearing that, Tsu started crying again. She buried her face into Wade's chest and sobbed loudly. Not out of sadness, but out of joy.

"Tsu!" Kirishima yelled as he rushed in to join the hug, tears forming in his eyes. "I'm sorry! Thanks for telling us how you feel!"

Mina did the same thing and rushed over and wrapped her arms around Wade and Tsu. "Please don't be sad!" She said, crying.

"It's okay," Momo said tearfully.

"I apologize." Iida joined in on apologizing to the frog girl.

While his voice was still dry sounding, Todoroki said sincerely, "You shouldn't feel bad."

"I promise, we won't make you sad again," Wade said as he patted Tsu's head gently.

"We promise!" Ochaco shouted tearfully as she joined in on the hug.

As Wade held the crying girl in his arms, he sighed in discouragement. They had that contest because everyone wanted things to go back to normal. And Wade especially understood the need to have his old life back. He and the kids need their lives to feel stable. Even though so much has changed and will keep changing. Their duty was to make each other better and stronger, so they could become Heroes together.

As the thunderstorm outside poured down rain, a police convoy drove down a dark and secluded road as it made its way to the Tartarus prison. Inside the armored vehicle, Daniel sat alone, his hands shackled in the front. Dan looked at the vehicle's wall that separated him from the "drivers" up in the front. It took a lot out of him to make all the police officers in the vehicles as life-like as possible.

Still nervous about the plan working, he thought about Wade to ease his mind.

Midnight told him all about what Wade's accomplished in the time he's been gone. The battles he won and the lives he's saved. Daniel felt such pride in his son, knowing for a long time that he would become a good man. The father could only wish to be there to see him succeed and grow as a Hero.

All of a sudden, there was the sound of an explosion going off. Daniel was thrown off the bench when the armored vehicle suddenly stopped. Then another explosion went off behind the car. The two "cops" in the front were about to call on the radio when a massive blast of blue fire incinerated them in their seats. Leaving nothing behind and burning away the ink.

Daniel sighed and sat up, knowing he was there.

All of a sudden, the back doors of the armored car were ripped open by Magne. "Well, look what we have here," she said, grinning at her former team.

"You know that's not how the joke goes, right?" Daniel asked with a smug smirk. "You have to say 'knock, knock.'"

"I can see where your son gets his annoying jokes."

"I like to think he inherited more than just my good looks," said Daniel.

"Yeah? Did he also inherit the ability to piss off the boss?" Magne stepped aside, revealing Shigaraki standing behind her with Toga, Spinner, and Dabi.

Shigaraki glared at Daniel through the fingers of his hand mask. "Ghost."

"Yeah, boss man. You're looking horrible, as usual. Have you been getting skinnier?" Daniel asked jokingly.

"Shut up!" Shigaraki snapped furiously. "You betrayed our master."

"'Our' master?" Daniel raised an eyebrow and scoffed. He glared at the villain and said with venom in his tone, "You mean the madman that took me away from my son? That fucked with my head and turned me into a villain?! Yeah, I betrayed All for One for what he did to me. The only thing that I regret is taking off his arm when I should've gone for the head." Seeing Shigaraki seething in fury while standing in the rain brought Daniel such satisfaction.

"If we're gonna go this, we better do it now. We can't screw around for too long." Dabi spoke up, looking back down the road.

"Get out," Shigaraki growled at Daniel.

"Oh, I heard that was a good movie." Daniel quipped.

"Get out of the car!" Shigaraki yelled, annoyed and furious. "Unless you want Dabi to incinerate you where you sit." Dabi backed this threat up by igniting a ball of fire in his palm.

Daniel sighed and stood up. "Alright." He relented and started walking to the end of the armored car. "But you're not gonna like what you see."

"Hey, wait a minute!" The villains turned their heads to look behind themselves. Over at the wrecked police car behind the armored vehicle, they saw Twice on his back, making a snow angel out of a black liquid pouring out of the vehicle and onto the pavement. "These guys melted into goo!"

"Eew! That's so gross!" Toga screamed, looking like she was ready to barf.

However, when Spinner saw the black liquid, he gasped. "That's Ghost's ink!"

"What?!" Shigaraki shouted in shock. If the cops in that car were fakes, did that mean they were all fakes? He turned back to Daniel, eyes widened.

Daniel smirked at the villain and stepped out of the armored car. Stepping out into the rain.

That's when he started to melt.

Starting from his feet, Daniel's clone body started to turn into a puddle of ink. Lowering more and more of his body to the ground, as the villains stared at the father in shock. "Oh, come on. What's with all the shocked faces? If Compress was here, I'm sure he would be commending me for my showmanship," he said jokingly as his body melted all the way to his waist. "Turns out I can make copies of people…Including myself."

"Wha—What the hell are you?!" Shigaraki screamed, confused by what was happening with Daniel's body. At the same time, he was furious that he wouldn't be able to kill the traitor with his own hands.

Now melting to his neck, Daniel's clone said to the villain. "I'm what you made me. A ghost."

And just like that, Daniel's clone was gone. Leaving the villains standing in the rain, stupified that Walker outsmarted them and made to look like fools. Something Shigaraki never wanted to look like, and as he scratched his neck viciously, he screamed to the heavens in rage.

The following day came, and Wade was woken up by the sound of the alarm on his phone going off. Sitting up in his bed, he pressed the button on the screen to get it to stop.

Just as he was about to get up to get ready for the day, he stopped and looked at his desk. Full of anticipation, he quickly walked over and picked up an item: a yellow and black flip phone. It was given to him by All Might, who said that it was from his father. It would be the only form of communication between the son and him. However, there was a catch.

As part of the witness protection program, Daniel can only make one phone call to his son monthly. Meaning that Wade would have to wait for who knows how long to hear from his dad again. Sighing, he stashed the phone in his pocket, along with his other one, and started getting dressed.

Things were a little strange at first, but once the kids finally settled into their new home, they returned to regular coursework and the goal of becoming Heroes.

"I believe I mentioned this already," Aizawa told his class. With his usual scowl, he glared intently at each and every one of his students. "But your main focus this summer is obtaining provisional Hero licenses. Provisional hero licenses."

"Yes, sir!" The students said simultaneously.

"Do not take this lightly. A hero license means that you're responsible for human lives. You can imagine that the exam to receive one is very difficult. Only 50 percent of students pass the tests required for these permits each year."

Hearing this frightened Mineta. "It's that hard to get a provisional license?" He asked, shaking.

Eraserhead narrowed his eyes. "In order to prepare, today you'll concentrate on creating something new."

The door to the classroom opened, and the kids turned their heads in the direction of it. To their surprise, it was Midnight. Behind her were fellow teachers, Ectoplasm and Cementoss.

"Two ultimate moves."

"Ultimate moves?!" exclaimed Kaminari and Kirishima.

"An exam is a normal school thing!" The lightning user and Mina said with big grins on their faces.

"But this is total hero work!" Kirishima and Sero added with equal excitement. Wade grinned with excitement.

"When we say 'ultimate,' we mean a move that will ensure you win against your opponent," Ectoplasm said, standing in front of the glass with his colleagues.

"An action so unique to your identity that no other person can hope to copy it. Simply put, you must learn to lean into your strengths," said Cementoss.

"Your moves represent who you are. These days, most Pro Heroes have an ultimate move. Those who don't are fools," Midnight said, winking at the kids.

"This may sound abstract, but we'll explain more as the day goes on," Aizawa informed the class. "For now, change into your costumes and meet in Gym Gamma."

With their costumes on, the kids were ready for action. They followed the teachers outside and up a trail that led them away from the main building. They then entered Gym Gamma, which was big on the outside, but absolutely massive on the inside. It was as tall as a four-story building and as large as a football field, with enough space for the class to train together simultaneously.

"Gym Gamma, also known at the Academy as the 'Training Dining Land' or TDL," Aizawa told his students.

It made no sense to Wade and the others, just like how USJ didn't make much sense. The reason was that it also was the acronym for Universal Studio Japan. However, TDL could be mistaken for Tokyo Disneyland.

Cementoss stood before the crowd and placed his hands on the ground. Using his powers, he reformed the floor into a small pillar with multiple lairs going up. "This facility was my idea." He turned back to the students. "We can prepare unique terrains and obstacles for each student here based on your powers. Here you'll learn to serve up justice, hence the name."

Iida instantly raised his hand high. "Please allow me a question. What is the advantage of having ultimate moves for our provisional exam? May we know your reasoning?!" He questioned the teachers intensely.

"Dude, that's two questions," Wade said to his friend.

Aizawa took over to explain his and the staff's reasoning to the class. "The job of a Hero is to save people from all sorts of dangers. Crime, accidents, and natural or man-made disasters. Of course, the licensing exam analyzes how well you can deal with such things. It won't just be fighting. The Hero Public Safety Commission will judge your ability to gather information and make decisions. In addition to how well you communicate, cooperate, and lead others. Every year, a new test is used to evaluate these qualities."

Midnight stepped forward to point out a piece of information. "One this is especially important. If you want to be a Pro-Hero, you must be able to prevail in battle," she said to the students. "If you're prepared, you won't have to worry. And those of you with an ultimate move will have stronger results."

"Your circumstances should not dictate the results of your future battles." Cementoss stepped in. "Learn to be consistent, and you will be a great asset on the front lines."

Your ultimate move doesn't necessarily have to be an attack," said Ectoplasm. "Take Iida's Reciproburst, for example. This sort of temporary boost in speed is valuable enough that it falls into the category of excellence we're looking for."

Tenya gasped and started shaking with pride and glee. "You mean I've been doing an ultimate move all along?" He asked.

"So, it's basically our secret weapon. Something that gives us the edge so we can win no matter who or what we're facing." Sato summed.

"There's a smart boy." Midnight winked at the sugar hero. "For example, Wade's ability to merge his powerful bioelectricity with his god-level strength with Venom Smash. With it, he can deal a lot of damage to an opponent. Or how the Kamui Wood can instantly use his Lacquered Chain Prison to capture opponents. That's exactly what we want to see."

Wade could see how his Venom Smash was seen as an ultimate finishing move in a fight. However, while Venom Smash was powerful, it didn't always have the best track record of putting the enemy down the first time. Especially after he started using Battle Focus, which limited the full strength of the power. However, this came from Wade not using much of his power in a fight. He knew that if he went all out, he could kill someone with a single punch. Muscular was the last time he had to use a fully powered Venom Smash. It was only because the murderous villain didn't go down the first time. To beat him, Wade had to give it his all. Not to mention it hurt his own arm badly.

"We were going to develop our moves at the training camp, right?" Wade inquired, frowning at the memory of the attack that took place.

"Yes." Aizawa nodded. "But the practice that you did get for the development of your Quirk was part of the process needed to create these defining abilities. Now that you're caught up—"

Cementoss used his abilities to reshape the floor of the gym. The students watched as the Hero/teacher created a more rocky and mountainous terrain. Ectoplasm then used his cloning ability to make duplicates of himself that spread out across the rocks. Each one was standing on a pillar that was either towering over the kids or was much lower to the ground.

"You'll be working hard to develop powerful moves of your own for the next ten days or so. This is how you will spend the remainder of your summer vacation. Prepare for intensive training!"

Aizawa pointed at the students.

"In addition, you should be thinking about how you can improve your costumes, especially now that you have a better understanding of your Quirks," he said, scowling at them seriously. "I expect each of you to go Plus Ultra. Do you have it in you?"

Excited, pumped, and ready and daring to face the challenge, the students responded simultaneously. "Yes, sir!"

After a long training day, Wade was seen sitting in bed, looking at a letter. It had arrived at his door just before he was about to leave Inko's home to live in the dorm. He didn't have time to read it at first. However, with his mind scrambling with thoughts and ideas for developing his ultimate move, the Spider Hero opened the letter and saw what it was.

Dear Wade Walker,

I'm happy to see you're okay. Seeing you fight off those villains was so scary. Sorry I punched you in the balls.

Kota

Wade smiled happily at the letter. It was Mandilay's cousin, the same boy he saved from that villain. "Heh, kid packed a mean right hook," he said.

Placing the letter down, Wade looked at his hand, wondering how the fight with Muscular would have turned out if he had an ultimate move. What would it have been, anyways?

Most of the day was spent improving his Quirk, but he wasn't really making progress like everyone else in his class. He was stuck, as he didn't know how to mitigate the injuries his body would have gotten from using a more significant percentage of his power. Typically, his body can withstand what he's able to dish out. However, he's not invulnerable, and even as Spider-Man, he can get hurt. If there ever comes a time for him to fight a villain like Muscular, he needs to be able to use more of his power.

He needed a brace to reinforce his arms. His body could handle One for All, but he needed to be able to use it at maximum power without the fear of getting hurt. That way, he'll be able to figure out his ultimate move and not fall behind.

"Regarding your costume improvements, once you've figured out if anything needs to change, head to the development studio here. Get the experts to help you out and give suggestions. They'll know what to do."

That's what Aizawa said, but there was no way Wade would let anyone touch his suit. There was only one person that was allowed to do that.

Far away, across the ocean on I-Island, inside one of the rooms of the academy's campus, an extraordinary young woman was at work.

Melissa Shield was one of the brightest and most promising students in the school, even without a Quirk. It's been well over two months since the incident that put everyone in danger, all because her father wanted to get back an invention that would have saved All Might. Her father, David, explained to her what was happening to his best friend, and his desperation to save the Symbol of Peace had led to real villains getting a device that would have made them unstoppable.

However, Melissa had forgiven her father, saying she would have likely done the same thing if she was in his position. The blonde woman would call her father from prison whenever possible and tell him about her inventions and achievements.

One of those new inventions in development was something she liked to call The Iron Man.

While everyone else was sleeping, Melissa was still wide awake with headphones on. Listening to Lenny Kravitz's Fly Away as she mused over the 3D holographic blueprints of the suit's boot. Earlier in the week, the girl had tried out a prototype of the boots but ended up crashing.

Melissa was trying to figure out a way to stabilize herself to stay in the air, when her music stopped. She stopped what she was doing before the headphone rang like a phone. "Someone's calling this late?" She asked, rolling her chair to her computer.

Pressing the call button, the screen showed her Wade Walker, the same boy that saved her. "Hey, Melissa!"

"Could it be?" Melissa blinked for a moment. Then a big smile spread across her face. "It is! Wade, is that you?!"

"Sure is. How're you doing?" Wade asked his friend as he sat on his bed. He was still wearing his suit.

"Me? I should be asking you the same thing. That fight between you and those villains was crazy!" Melissa exclaimed, looking at the dark-haired boy worriedly. "Did they hurt you?"

"They roughed me up a bit, but it was all worth it in the end!" Wade said with a big grin on his face. "I was able to get Dad back!"

"I heard about that," Melissa said softly, still worried about Wade and his pain. The two shared the same pain of seeing their family members—their fathers—doing criminal acts. The blonde girl knew it was much worse for her friend, given the fact that Daniel Walker was brainwashed. "How's he doing?"

"I haven't heard anything back from him yet. I'm hoping to hear something soon," Wade said, a bit bitter. He shook it off and smiled at Melissa. "And what about your dad? Is he doing okay?"

"He's doing okay. I've been calling him, and he's holding up," Melissa said. Melissa then placed her chin on her hand and smiled at Wade. "But I doubt you called just to have a chat. So, what's up? Need your suit repaired?"

"Actually, I was hoping that you could, oh, I don't know…upgrade the suit." Wade proposed with a smirk.

This surprised Melissa. "Really? You want me to upgrade the suit?"

"With the Full Gauntlet. I need braces for my limbs for when I use my powers at full strength," Wade said, holding up his arm. "Is there any way you can integrate it into the suit while keeping it the shape of the suit?"

Melissa leaned back in her chair and cupped her chin with her hand. Thinking about how to do it. It was actually a straightforward process. Just replace the arm parts of the suit with her device, and Melissa still had enough of the material to make it happen. The red gel that made Full Gauntlet's armor was soft when it was in a stationary position, but hardened on impact. After she did some further experiments and tests on the gel, it now had the potential to stop a 50. Cal bullet, which is quite insane, to say the least.

"It'd take some time…but I can do it!" Melissa said, winking at Wade. "Since I'm working as an intern at my father's company, I'll be able to do it as a special order!"

"That's awesome! Thank you, Melissa! I'll send the suit over." Wade said with a big grin on his face.

"So it that it?"

Wade looked at the blonde beauty in confusion. "What do you mean?"

"Maybe you should think about adding some gadgets to your suit. They could really help you out with fighting villains," Melissa said, wanting to help out Wade in his fight against evil. After seeing how Wade reloads his web shooters, Melissa knew he could use the same cartridges for other devices. Some that could add him.

Wade thought about it for a moment and realized that Melissa was right. And there was only one person he knew that could make such devices.

The next day, early in the morning, Wade stood before the Development Studio. Before him were large metal doors that would have been seen in high-security buildings. He had gotten permission from Aizawa to come here to talk to the support class about improving his suit and ask about what gadgets they could make for him. His teacher agreed and dismissed him.

"Alright, let's see if she's here," Wade said. He then groaned in dismay. "I've got a really bad feeling about this…."

"Hey, babe!" Hearing a familiar voice, Wade turned his head to see Ochaco running over to him, waving her hand with a blush and smile. "You here for costume improvements, too?"

"No running in the hall!" Iida yelled at her.

Wade smiled at his girlfriend. "Hey, Ochaco…" He trailed off when his senses triggered. "Look out!"

He quickly dived towards Ochaco and wrapped his arms around her. Tackling her to the ground before an explosion blew the doors of the development studio off their hinges. Sending the door into the wall across the floor, nearly breaking the glass.

After the explosion, Wade lifted himself off Ochaco and helped her stand up. "Are you okay?" He asked, worried.

"Y-Yeah. Thanks." Ochaco said, kissing him on the cheek. "Nice save."

Wade blushed and smiled bashfully. The three classmates then heard the sound of a girl saying 'Ow' repeatedly. A robot arm from the room extended out and blasted a stream of white foam that extinguished the fire.

"Alright, that's enough, Dum-E," said the Excavation Hero: Power Loader. He was a short, skinny man with a very youthful appearance for his advanced age. The hero had spiky ginger shoulders hair, dull blue eyes, and a large mouth. His hands appeared to be the largest part of his body, disproportional to his relatively small frame, and, due to his Quirk, he had on an orange L-shaped piece at the end of each finger.

As his Hero name suggested, his hero costume consisted of a large yellow helmet shaped like a rectangular excavator claw. The top piece protruded outward to cover his head, and most of his face, and the bottom piece was left to act as a long jaw-guard. He was shirtless and wore a pair of large, fingerless gray gloves with metal guards that extended down his arms, as well as a pair of plain cyan pants.

Dum-E beeped and rolled back into the shop as Power Loader couched into his fist. "You know, you shouldn't try to mix everything that you can find in the lab together like that."

In the smoke came a familiar voice that giggled like a mad woman. "Failure is the mother of invention, Mr. Power Loader. Thomas Edison said something like that once," said none other than Hatsume as she sat up.

"Before or after he started killing elephants?" Wade quipped.

His comment wasn't heard by the pink-haired coughed before continuing. "Even if something I make doesn't work as I've envisioned, that doesn't mean it's a waste of time."

"That's not the point! You almost blew up the entire design studio!" Power Loader yelled at her.

"Should…we leave?" Iida whispered to Wade.

"She…could help?" Wade tried to sound sure of himself, but wasn't when it came to Hatsume.

As Power Loader yelled at her some more, Hatsume noticed the three students and smiled at them. "Hey, when did you get here?"

"Uh, just now," Wade said, watching as the crazy inventor stood up. "Are you okay?"

"Huh? Oh, yeah, sorry about the sudden explosion. It's been a while, huh? Class 1-A, right?" Hatsume said, appearing to have recognized the three friends from the Sports Festival. However, just as Wade thought the pink-haired girl was about to say their names, Hatsume gave up. "Yeah, I forgot all your names already."

Waee blinked at her. "You're kidding me, right?" He asked, but the look on her face didn't change at all. "It's me…Wade. Wade Walker? Ochaco and I were with you during the Cavalry Battle."

"And I'm Tenya Iida!" The speedster butt in on the conversation to scold Hatsume. "The man you used as a walking advertisement!"

"Never heard of you," Hatsume said, shocking the three of them turn to the point that they turned white. She turned around and started walking into the Design Studio. "Well, I'm busy developing new babies, so, bye~!"

"Wait! Uh, I need your help, Hatsume," Wade said, holding an arm out to her. The pink-haired inventor stopped and looked at him, curious. "I…I'm going to regret this…but I need you to make me some of your babies!"

There was silence in the area as everyone looked at him like he was crazy.

"...huh?"

"Okay, that came out wrong." Blushing as red as a tomato, Wade rubbed the back of his head. "I-I need you to help me make new gadgets." As he continued talking, Hatsume's hearing became increasingly muffled as her eyes widened. "I've come to realize that I'm going to need equipment that can help me out of a pinch whenever I need then. I was thinking maybe a little drone that can shoot webs, trip mines, or even improvements to my shooters that—"

"YOU WANT TO MAKE BABIES WITH ME?!" Hatsume screamed with excitement in her voice as she rushed over and got in Wade's face.

"No!" Wade and Ochaco exclaimed.

"And don't say it like that, woman!" Wade added.

"Well, count me in!" Hatsume grabbed Wade's hand and pulled him off his feet as she rushed towards the Design Studio. Surprising everyone with her crazy strength.

However, she was stopped by Power Loader calling her out. "Hatsume! It's fine for you to be in and out of the studio all day, since you're in the dorms. But if you stop following my instructions." He told the girl, narrowing his eyes at her. The teacher then turned his attention back to three Hero Course students. "I heard from Eraser Head that you're here to upgrade those costumes of yours for your new moves."

"Well, mostly them," Wade said, pointing to his girlfriend and Iida. Both of them waved. "I've already talked to someone who can upgrade my suit. I'm just here for support items."

"I see. Well, come on, in." Power Loader waved for the four kids to come inside.

Wade, Ochaco, and Iida followed the teacher and Hatsume inside the studio and were amazed by the room's layout. Everything from the tools they used to the blueprints and even the gadgets were so advanced-looking. Multiple monitors were over at Power Loader's desk and work benches with all the equipment needed to create improvements to a suit or support items.

"It's like a top-secret lab in here," Wade said with wide eyes, as Ochaco and Iida gave the instructions for their suits to Power Loader. With the license he had to make costumes, he was able to make sight improvements but had to let the professional companies do all the real work when it came to making the upgrades.

"You said someone was already working on your suit, right?" Power Loader asked Wade.

"Yeah. Melissa Shield, she's the daughter of David Shield."

Ochaco gasped with shock, and a grin formed on her face. "Really? How is she?" She asked, having not heard from the blonde girl since the incident on I-Island.

"She's doing great. Melissa is the one that originally worked on my suit, so I figured why not ask her to make the improvements I want," Wade explained to his gravity girl.

Power Loader leaned back in his chair and said, "That's actually a brilliant thing to do. Making friends in the industry like that will go a long way in getting you the best upgrades you need, as they know you and have a bit of an idea of what will work best for you."

Wade nodded. However, he felt someone feeling up his sides. "Uh, Ochaco. Please tell me you're the one that's touching me…" he said nervously.

"Huh?" Confused, Ochaco looked at her boyfriend and was shocked and angered. "Hatsume! What the hell are you doing to him?!"

"I'm feeling out his muscles," Hatsume said, moving to the front of Wade's body. Her hands were not stopping their movement all over his muscles.

"Well, knock it off!" Wade said, grabbing her hands and pulling them away from himself. "I'm happily taken. I just need some support items."

"Good, because I've got just what you need," she said, staring at him with her crosshair eyes.

Before Wade could even properly respond to what she was telling him, he found himself having a mechanical backpack-looking device strapped to his back. Four large spider-like legs sprouted from the backpack, each with a blue tip at the end.

"My very special baby that I made for you. The Pincers!" Hatsume proclaimed, proud to see her baby on the back of UA's most promising student. "An A.I. controls this high-tech darling and can anticipate how they can help you, including in combat. Meet my baby number 59!"

"Uh, okay…cool," Wade said, looking over his shoulders at the pincers. "Do these make me look like a villain?"

"Program start!" Hatsume pressed the button on a controller she was holding up.

The pincers turned on, picking up and getting into a ready position. The sudden movement of the robotic arms startled Wade for a moment before he looked at the pincers. "Huh, this is pretty—OW!" He cried out in pain when one of the pincers suddenly hit him in the stomach. Giving him a sudden shock of electricity. "Dammit! Why didn't my sense warn me about that—OW!"

"Wade!" Ochaco rushed to help out as the pincers started trying to attack the web-slinger. Wade stopped two of the four legs, but his girlfriend and Iida had to grab the other two.

"End program," said Hatsume as she turned off the pincers. Relieving Wade of the barrage of zaps. "Looks like I made a mistake or two in the AI. That's my bad."

Wade quickly removed the backpack and leaned against a table, rubbing his stomach as Ochaco comforted him. Meanwhile, Iida tried staying out of the crazy inventor's line of sight as he shuffled over to Power Loader.

"Sir, I was wondering if you could improve the cooling devices in my legs." He whispered to the teacher.

Hatsume's hearing, however, was better than Iida had thought, and she was whispering in his ear in a heartbeat. "If that's what you're in the market for," she said, making the poor speedster freeze up. "Try this baby on!"

Before Iida knew it, she had placed on a pair of red gauntlets with large thrusters. "How—?"

As Wade and Ochaco tried making their way to the exit, Hatsume explained the invention to Iida. "It's an electric booster for radiators that can coolify anything that gives off heat! Sweet baby number 36!" She gave the speedster a thumbs up.

Iida raised his arm to stop her. "Hatsume, there's nothing wrong with my boosters. And why my arms?!"

Excited, Hatsume ignored him. "Booster. Go."

"Hey!" But it was too late. The boosters of the gauntlet ignited and sent him flying up into the ceiling. His body was nearly crushed against the surface by the pounds of thrust exhausted from the devices.

"Iida!" Wade and Ochaco shouted. He quickly grabbed the remote from Hatsume's hand and turned off the gauntlets. Iida fell to the ground and landed with a thud, as the Dum-E robot sprayed him down with its built-in fire extinguisher.

Wade and Ochaco rushed over and helped their friend into a chair as he panted. "My Quirk is in my legs, you madwoman!" He yelled at the pink-haired girl.

Hatsume giggled. "Yeah, I know. But you don't understand. Come on, it's so brilliant." She said. "If you want to cool down your legs, then why don't you just run with your arms instead!"

"Stop messing around!" Power Loader shouted.

"What in the world are you talking about?!" Iida joined in the shouting.

After a bit of cleaning up, the room returned to normal. Hatsume went to another corner of the room to work while Power Loader talked to the hero course students.

"Sorry about that. I'm trying to get her to look past her own devices." He said to Wade, Ochaco, and Iida.

"With that girl, there's no way," Wade grumbled, with his girlfriend and best friend nodding.

Power Loader turned his head away from them as he looked at where the pink-haired girl was. "But you know. If you all aspire to be heroes, you should take a page from Walker's book, and treasure your relationship with her. You'll need her once you've been made Pros." He explained, watching as Hatsume made a new device. As the heroes in training looked at him with curiosity, Power Loader pointed his finger to his left. "Look in that corner."

Wade turned his head and gasped in shock. Stuffed in the far corner of the room was a pile of what looked like junk. Failed inventions that were broken down and discarded.

"You guys really need to have a habit of taking out the trash." He quipped.

"You're one to talk," Ochaco said teasingly.

Power Loader chuckled. "Yeah, but Hatsume wouldn't let us throw out her failed 'babies,'"

Wade gasped and glanced at the pile and Hatsume. "You mean…she made all this?"

"Yep, every single support item Hatsume's made since starting school here. She's always inventing, even when school's not in session. I've seen many Support Course students in my career, but I tell you, this girl is something special." He looked at Hatsume as she hummed to herself. "'Common sense is a collection of prejudices acquired by age 18.' That's something Einstein said. And let me tell you, that girl is unafraid of failure. Constantly thinking of new ideas and trying them out. Innovators are people who don't feel chained down by existing concepts."

Wade's eyes widened as he thought about that. When he first started being a hero, he thought that he had to be just like All Might. But, in reality, Wade's been doing things much differently than his mentor. He wasn't All Might; he was Spider-Man. And he's had to fight like one all this time. But even then, he wasn't like Peter Parker or the infinite number of other Spider-People in the multi-verse. If Wade was going to become a better hero, he needed to innovate.

Picking back up the Pincers, Wade walked up to Hatsume. "Hey, Hatsume." The pink-haired girl turned around and looked at him, curious. With a determined smile, Wade held up her invention. "I love it. I'll ask Melissa to add it to my suit if you help me make some gadgets."

"Absolute, 10 million!" Hatsume said, giving him a thumbs up.

"It's Wade, but thanks." Wade handed over the pincers.

"Wow! You're really gonna use those?" Ochaco asked with a smile.

Wade walked over to stand next to her. "Why not? They could really help me out in a fight." He then realized something. "By the way, I never asked, are you changing a part of your costume?"

"A little. I don't wanna feel sick anymore," Ochaco said, placing her hand on her stomach.

This got the attention of Hatsume, as she popped up from behind Ochaco with stars in her eyes. "Oh, you don't say." She said, startling Wade and Ochaco. Then, she pulled out a large barrel with a fuse string attached to it. "In that case, you've gotta try this out!"

"No!" Everyone in the room shouted.

As the days passed, the students' training to create their ultimate moves continued, with many of them making staggering progress in their abilities. Even Wade started to create his two ultimate moves.

He called the first one Venom Beam.

As Ectoplasm stood off to the side, Wade stared at a slab of rock in front of him. Standing steady for the tremendous amount of energy that he was going to let out, he started generating electricity in his body.

Usually, he didn't have to try to guide the electricity in his body, as it had always found its way to his arms and fists. But with this move, he needed to have more focus. Remembering how lightning bending worked in Avatar: The Last Airbender, Wade started with a circular motion of his arms. Doing this charged the lightning in his fingers. And then, he thrusted his fingers at the rock, releasing the electricity in a beam of lightning that destroyed the rock.

The next was Maximum Spider.

Facing the clone, Spider-Man rushed forward and disappeared. Confused, Ectoplasm looked around. However, Wade appeared a foot in front of him, crouched down, with a fist coursing with electricity.

With a mighty punch, Wade sent Ectoplasm up into the air. Jumping up after him, Wade shot a web-net with a web-string attached at him. The net stuck to the clone, and Wade yanked himself towards it. Performing a flying kick through his opponent. On the other side, Wade repeated the move repeatedly until the clone was entangled in a series of webs. Spider-Man then finished the ultimate move with one final, powerful foot-stomp, sending his opponent crashing down and disintegrating into goo.

"Yes!" Wade cheered, pumping his fist with a big grin. However, the celebration was cut short as he felt something buzzing in his pants. Curiously, he reached in and pulled out his phone. It was a text from Melissa.

Melissa: Your suit's waiting for you in your room ;)

Confused, Wade blinked.

After leaving the gym and returning to the dorm, Wade opened the door to his room. At first, as he looked around, there was nothing. That is until he heard a muffled buzzing sound.

Looking across the room towards the balcony's glass doors, Wade was surprised to see a drone hovering just outside. Connected to the underside of it was a claw that hung from a retractable wire. And in the grasp of the claw was the case that held Wade's new suit.

"I feel a sense of Deja vu coming about," he said, instantly being reminded of how he got his first suit. Opening the door, he grabbed the case, prompting the claw to let go before the drone flew off. "Alright, time to test this thing out."

"Aizawa. How are things progressing?" All Might asked the teacher as he walked up to him. Over the four days the kids had been training, the former Number One Hero had started taking his role of teacher much more seriously. Going around to each of the students and advising them on how to improve their moves.

And this was all after reading a book on how to be a teacher for dummies.

"You're back again?" Aizawa asked dryly. "We're getting there. Some of them have finally solidified their fighting styles. And there are those already putting together multiple special moves." Upon receiving this information, both teachers turned their attention to where Bakugo was.

Taking a deep breath, the exploder formed his left hand into a circle and placed it on his other right palm. "Now for my whole hand. But a blast of a single concentrated point." He then shot his explosion through the circle of his hand made, which acted as a gun barrel. Focusing the blast into a collum of fire that punched a hole through the rock in front of him. "AP Shot!"

Bakugo grinned victoriously and laughed. "Ha ha! I did it!"

"No surprise that Young Bakugo is doing well. As usual," All Might said, turning away from the student. Seeing that the young man already had his ultimate moves all figured out, All Might figured that his other students would require more assistance.

However, with his back turned away, All Might didn't notice the rock that Bakugo fired into cracking apart.

Before anyone could stop it, a large piece of the boulder broke off and started falling towards the teacher.

"Hey! Watch out!" Bakugo yelled. Aizawa gasped and grabbed his scarf, though he wouldn't make it on time.

However, there was one person that could.

With Battle Focus activated, Wade jumped and flew through the air towards the boulder. With a grin on his face, he was excited to test out what his new suit's ability could do.

SMASH!

From his back, four robotic spider-like legs deployed, and two of them smashed the boulder into pieces with a single hit. The tips of the pincers crackled, with Wade's bioelectricity surging through them.

"Hell yeah!" Wade cheered as he pulled out one of Hatsume's many new gadgets. He threw it towards the ground, where it opened like a lotus flower.

A blue pulse of energy came from the gadget. This wave touched the multiple broken pieces of the boulder, making them all glow blue. Then, to the increased amazement of everyone in Gamma Gym, the rocks started to float just inches above the ground.

Wade landed on the ground in a crouch, his pincers still deployed and ready to assist. Grinned when he saw how amazingly his new equipment worked. "Melissa, Hatsume. Great job on the Spider Gamma suit."

All Might grinned at his successor. Impressed with what Wade was able to come up with for his suit. He's already seen his Venom Beam and Maximum Spider moves and was very impressed. But seeing the spider legs and that his student had added gadgets further astonished the former Hero. Thought from the look of the red belt around his waist, All Might knew that one device, the Suspension Matrix, wasn't the only new trick Wade had up his sleeves.

"Yeah, you okay?" Wade asked, running over to All Might. "That was a close one."

All Might smiled at his successor. "Yeah!"

"Dude, Wade, what's up with your back?" Kaminari asked as he and Kirishima walked over to him. Both of them had changed their outfits in significate ways.

The blonde boy's updated hero costume consisted of a slightly shorter black jacket with fewer white patterns, only two near the hem and collar, and a yellow-rimmed lightning bolt around each of his shoulders. He still wore matching black pants, but they only had a small zig-zag near each of their cuffs, and he wore a belt and a white V-neck shirt. Around his right wrist, he wore a wristband with a circular mechanism from which he could shoot disc-shaped Pointers, which aided him in aiming his Quirk. He also wore a black choker with a silver buckle on the left side and a headset with a blue-tinted visor.

"I know you're our universe's Spider-Man, but don't you think this is a little too on the nose?" Kirishima said jokingly. The only change to his costume was the addition of black sleeves, which he wore to prevent civilians from being hurt by his Quirk during rescues.

Aizawa looked confused. What's that supposed to mean?

"Actually, this was Hatsume's idea. Including the new support gear," Spider-Man said as his pincers retracted back into his suit. At the same time, his girlfriends rushed over. Each of them with wide eyes.

"I think they look so cool! At you need is a mask with multiple eyes," Mina exclaimed excitedly as she bounced on her feet.

"Is that the suit Melissa made for you?" Momo asked, having heard about the girl's involvement with upgrading Wade's suit.

"That's right." Wade looked at his hands, opening his fingers and closing them into fists. "She basically turned my arms and legs into Full Gauntlet, while keeping their slim shape to allow me to still be fast."

"You'll definitely have a huge advantage during the test," All Might said. "Especially if you're able to use these new upgrades to assist you."

Aizawa walked over to the former Number One Hero. "Hey, All Might. It's dangerous in here, and you should be careful," he said.

"Yeah, I know." All Might, before looking up towards Bakugo. "Sorry for the scare, Young Bakugo."

However, when Wade looked at his rival, he saw Bakugo glaring at him. Something he was used to. But something was different about him. How he glared at Wade at that moment differed significantly from all the other times he did.

Bakugo then left an explosion. "You watch yourself, All Might!"

When he heard those words, All Might paused for a moment. Watch himself, huh? It only made sense. They now all see him for what he really is. And in their eyes, he was now weak. Someone they need to protect.

"That's enough, Class A!"

Wade and the others turned around to see Vlad King standing at the gym entrance. Standing on both sides of him were Kendo and Momona, suited up in their costumes.

"Class B is scheduled to use this training room every afternoon." Said the teacher of Class 1B. "Eraser, get your kids out of our way."

Wade looked at the clock on his HUD. "It's only 11:50, bro!" He said, waving his hand.

"He's right. You're trying to kick us out 10 minutes early, right?" Aizawa questioned his fellow teacher.

That's when Monoma decided that he was going to open his big mouth. His hero costume was a black, double-breasted tuxedo with two long tails almost reaching his ankles. Three clocks hang on one of two belts around his waist, and he left his shirt collar unturned, a blue and black dotted tie done up around his neck. A left breast pocket was on his tuxedo, with a slight blue handkerchief sticking out. His tailcoat and pants were plain black, except for the cuffs of his sleeves and the inner-facing sides of his tails, and his shoes were white with a simple design.

"Hey, did ya hear? The license exam has a 50 percent pass rate. That means your entire might fail." He said, reminding the students of Class 1A that he hated them.

"Yeah? Well, at least I'm not a Tuxedo Mask knockoff!" Wade yelled at him. He then turned to Kendo, whose costume fit her, considering her fighting style.

The Class Rep wore a turquoise knee-length qipao, over which she had a black double-breasted corset, ending just below her breasts. She also sported black short pants under the qipao. For accessories, she wore a loose brown utility belt around her hips with a satchel attached at the back. She had a thin black domino mask around her eyes and white-heeled navy blue boots with wide vamps that reached down to her toes, filled with white slips.

"Seriously, what the hell is up with his costume?"

"Well, since his Quirk is Copy, he said he didn't need anything too eccentric. Just that." She explained to Spider-Man.

Wade sweatdropped as he looked at Monoma, who was laughing hysterically with disdain. "How you do deal with this twit?"

"We learned to toon him out when he gets like this."

"Most be hard."

"But he speaks the truth," Tokoyami said as he entered the conversation. "If we're taking the same exam, then we'll crush each other. That's the hand fate has dealt us."

"And why we won't be in the same location. Our class applied to different spots." Aizawa told his class as Vlad King stood next to him. This got the attention of Monoma.

"There are two exam days." Class 1B's teacher said. "In June and in September. And the tests are held in three different places. We don't want students from the same place fighting. We split you up. Each school has at most one class at a single location."

Monoma sighed in relief. Then he went back to his usual superiority complex self. "How sad we won't be able to face each other directly." He started laughing again.

"Yay, we wouldn't be about beat your ass," Wade sarcastically said as he pulled out another one of his new gadgets. Spider-Man then tossed it over to Monoma. "Think fast, Bitch Butler!"

Monoma was thrown off his laughter when the device hit his chess. Instinctively, he caught it in his hands and looked at it. The red sphere, which was silver in the center, was beeping. When he realized what it was, the Web Bomb went off, blasting him against the wall while being covered in webs.

"Was that really necessary?" Momo asked, trying to cover her mouth to hide her amused smile.

Wade smirked at her. "Don't act like you didn't enjoy that."

"But aren't you the least bit worried?" Ochaco asked, looking just as nervous as some of the others.

"Yeah," said Sero. "We didn't know that we'd be fighting other schools."

"Not to mention taking the test earlier than most other students." Momo pointed out.

"That's correct," Aizawa said, his face becoming serious as he looked at his students. "Very few first years in the country try for a provisional license. In other words, the test will consist of those who've trained longer than you and with Quirks you don't know about. Powerful ones. The actual content of the exam is a mystery, but you can expect that you will have a rough time. Try not to get hung on about that, but keep it in mind."

"Yes, sir!" The Heroes of Tomorrow responded.

AN:

People ask me if I'll include the Green Goblin in the story, though I'd argue that Shigaraki is the Green Goblin of MHA

And there you go, people. A new chapter and the beginning of the Hero License Exam. After a hard-fought battle, it's time for Wade to prepare for a new challenge.

Now, I did skip over some moments. For example, Aizawa's speech before the kids entered the dorm and the beach scene when All Might talked to Izuku about becoming his teacher. These weren't really moments that I wanted to do, as they would have dragged the chapter out longer than it already was.

We all know about All Might's conversation with Inko and Izuku, and I thought that instead of having my version of it with Wade, it would be more interesting to see All Might talk to Daniel. It gives me a chance to flesh out his character and see the turmoil that's going on inside him. Honestly, I feel sorry for the guy. He finally has his son back, and now he's being taken away from Wade for his own protection. It's something that no father should ever have to go through. And his being harsh with All Might is justified, as he did place a heavy burden on Wade. However, seeing All Might's determination to help his son has softened him up to the hero.

And that scene where Daniel tricks the League of Villains? Yeah, that was a big 'fuck you' to them.

After all this time, Wade finally revealed the origins of his Spider-Quirk to his friends. There's no real point in keeping it a secret, with All for One having already told them about it. As for Wade's messy room, that's based on all other Spider-Man rooms.

And then we come to Wade's new Spider-Man suit: Gamma Spider Suit. The suit's appearance is based on the suit from the new game, Spider-Man 2. However, we see the return of Melissa Shield and her Full Gauntlet technology. We're not yet there for Wade to have the Iron Spider suit. With the same technology used in Full Gauntlet now integrated into the suit, Wade can really let loose with his powers.

But not all the way. Remember, he doesn't want to kill anyone.

As for everyone that wanted Wade to use Venom Beam, as Miles did in the comics, well, there you go. And for Marvel Vs. Capcom fans, you might recognize the second ultimate move.

Next will be The Red Dragon Samurai and Living in a Frog World.

Until then, some big things are coming for your boy. With a new job lined up, I'll be heading out into the big world to forge my own path. It'll take some time before I can officially start, but I'm excited. I don't know what this will mean for my fanfics or any of my other stuff, but I'll try and keep updating as I move on with my life.

Farwell.
