The festival atmosphere was lively as everyone celebrated outside the quad after the Talent Show.
"Allison! You did a wonderful job! I'm so proud of you! You and Anya did great on stage." Mrs. Conway spoke to her son in a cheerful tone while hugging her kid, which made Allison smile back as he corrected her.
"Thank you, Mother, but that wasn't Anya but my friend Cynthia. They both appear to look like each other, which I find interesting." Allison replied to his mother with a smile on his face, and this made Mrs Conway smile as well.
"Oh, I see. No wonder why I saw a girl that appeared to look like Anya but, I'm just glad she could cheer you up and I'm just so proud of the social progress and friends that; you've made. I'm just so proud of you, my son.." Mrs. Conway spoke out to her son as both mother and son gave each other a warm hug.
"Thank you, Mother, for your words. It means so much to me. I love you so much, Mother," Allison spoke back while hugging his mom.
Anya watched this and had a smile on her face as she was going to walk up and approached them; however, she was met with Judith quickly getting in her way, much to Anya's displeasure.
"Judith, what do you want? I don't have time for whatever pettiness you might hold against me, okay? Just let go of whatever grudges you might have against me," Anya advised Judith in a rather annoyed tone, as this only made Judith smile back smugly while beginning to speak.
"Good Evening, Anya. I see you are quite in a happy mood tonight since your little friend sang in front of the audience" Judith responded in with vain tone despite a smile on her face as she saw Anya sighing to herself in annoyance while she began to speak.
"Of course, Allison is my friend and I'll always be there for him but since you're here, I wanted to just put our feud behind us, okay? Let's just become friends or at least on proper terms with each other.." Anya advised Judith with a calm voice this made the young girl laugh in Anya's face as she spoke once more.
"Friends? With you?! Not a chance in hell! You ruined my life and stole Calvin away from me so don't preach to me about friendship, Anya!" Judith spoke back to Anya in a rather more annoyed voice that made Anya shake her head in disappointment.
"Come on, you don't have to ruin my life over these things, for half the year, you have been bullying me and my friends just because we're not rich like you and that Calvin doesn't hang out with you anymore. I just want things to end.." Anya spoke back to Judith in a more pleading voice but still maintained her composure which made Judith laugh in her face
"You're the one who ruined my life! So don't preach to me about any of this crap, hypocrite! I don't even wanna look at your face right now.." Judith spat back at Anya as she spat on her face before quickly leaving in anger, unfortunately, this didn't surprise Anya at all.
"Judith, you can't keep allowing such pettiness to consume you but maybe one day, you'll understand.." Anya thought to herself while wiping the spit from her face as she looked up to see Judith walking away before turning back to see Allison walking with his mother.
"I shouldn't let Judith ruin my night. This should be a fun night and I intend to have as much fun as possible and nothing is gonna stop me from doing that" Anya spoke out to herself in confidence as she began to walk over to where her friends were.
Anya's friends were chatting with each other while Anya was approaching them with open arms.
"Hey, guys! How's everyone doing? I hope everyone is doing well on this wonderful night" Anya spoke out to her friends with a smile as she made herself comfortable by sitting on one of the chairs as Charlotte began to speak.
"We're doing swell and I'm just thinking about how wonderful Allison and Cynthia did on the Talent Show and their performance stole the show. I would not mind seeing more of their singing" Charlotte responded while Emma and the others nodded in agreement which made Anya smile as more of her friends began to speak.
"I agree, everything about the Talent Show including Allison and Cynthia's singing was truly something. We should participate next year" Nancy spoke out as well as the three girls shared a warm smile as Anya began to speak out.
"I'm glad everyone enjoyed the show. We've all worked hard to make this happen for Allison and the others so that's something we should all be proud of" Anya spoke back while looking over to see Allison and his mother approaching them with smiles which made them more happy.
"Congratulations! You did wonderful! I enjoyed your singing. You did very well.." Russell spoke out to his friend with joy as both boys hugged each other warmly while Carrie watched with a smile on her face.
"Thank you. I truly appreciate your kind words and If it wasn't for Cynthia then I would have given up due to stage fright and also Judith since she was watching…" Allison spoke back to Russell as this revelation didn't surprise anybody due to this being Judith's usual behavior.
"Judith? Man, she's annoying! She needs to just buzz off but let's not worry about her, okay? This is a night we're gonna enjoy but where's Cynthia at? I don't see her anywhere" Russell spoke back to Allison with confidence while Carrie began to speak.
"He's right, I don't see Cynthia anywhere at all. Did she leave early or something" Carrie chimed into the conversation as this was met with Allison nodding his head in confirmation.
"She left because she didn't want to attract too much attention but she did tell me to tell you guys that it was wonderful seeing everyone again and that she will return on Christmas for Mary's birthday" Allison responded as everyone nodded in understanding.
"I see, well, It was wonderful seeing her again and I do understand her reasoning since she's quite famous and she doesn't wanna be mistaken for Anya I bet" Carrie spoke out understanding while Allison and the others nodded in agreement.
"Well, I'm sure she'll write to me in the coming days so I'll give everyone an update on that but let's continue with our night, there's still so much to chat and do" Anya advised her friends with a warm smile while everyone agreed to her statement.
"You're right. The night is still young so let's enjoy it to the best of our ability before it's too late" Mai spoke back to her friends in agreement as everyone in the group eventually went on to enjoy their night as one big happy group of friends while Allison walked with beaming confidence.
"So much has changed since I met Anya and her friends, these wonderful people changed my life for the better. Thank you, my friends. I will forever remember this night.." Allison thought to himself while smiling to himself as he found himself enjoying the beautiful night that was presented to him and he could not have been more happier than that.
*9:50 pm*
Judith was walking across the Highlands quad as she was trapped in her thoughts.
"Who does Anya think she is? Wanting to be friends and all that other crap! I refuse to associate myself with such poor trash!" Judith thought to herself in annoyance as her thoughts were interrupted by Calvin who managed to get her attention.
"Judith, It's been a while, huh? How have things been.." Calvin asked his former friend as this seemed to have made Judith smile warmly as she began to speak.
"Calvin, you're finally talking to me it seems, huh? Well, I've been doing good and please tell me you finally had enough of Anya.." Judith spoke back to Calvin in anticipation as she expected her former friend to say yes; however, to her disappointment, it was the opposite.
"No, Anya is a good friend of mine and I will never drop her but I've come to tell you something.." Calvin answered back which annoyed Judith and she sighed to herself rather disappointedly.
"I knew you were gonna say that and what could you possibly want from me, traitor.." Judith answered back while crossing her arms and looking away from Calvin as she waited for whatever her former friend was gonna say.
"Well, I know there's a huge ball that's gonna take place in just a few days and I thought it would be nice for you to invite Anya. I know it sounds weird but I just want you both to patch things up so I can hang out with you again.." Calvin advised Judith this suggestion caught Judith off guard as she looked at him with surprise on her face.
"I-Invite Anya?! No way! Do you realize how much that's gonna affect my image!? People would laugh at me and my father would be furious! I just can't.." Judith spoke back in a rather panicked tone while Calvin remained calm.
"Look, I'm not asking you to befriend Anya but just try to get to know her a little more, and besides, you can handle a little bit of teasing, right?" Calvin spoke back while letting out a smile as this made Judith think for a bit before speaking once more.
"Fine, I'll invite her when I see her again. But just remember, be careful what you wish for because you might just get it…" Judith spoke back to Calvin with a sneaky smile as she walked over to kiss him before walking away from his sight.
"This is perfect! I'll invite Anya and embarrass her in front of everyone at the ball! This is wonderful! I'll make sure Calvin regrets his rather odd suggestion!" Judith spoke out to herself, filled with a sense of determination to get her enemy to participate in the upcoming ball.
