Moon did his last camera patrol and marked it down. It was an annoying process, and honestly a bit worthless there were plenty of blindspots in the camera's field of view. But Moon didn't really care if something got stolen. He wasn't leaving Harriette for too long. He wasn't leaving her alone, not when she'd specifically requested him not to. Even if she hadn't been cradled in his arms sound asleep.

Five o'clock rolled in with the sounds of air conditioning and the soft breathing of a child. Sleeping peacefully. The daycare was officially open, if mostly to the staff that were clocking in to start their day. Most kids wouldn't be arriving for another hour at least. Still Moon would need to wake Harriette up. Though he hated the idea. Especially as the little one had struggled so much to fall asleep in the first place. But he was sure she'd rather be woken up gently by him then to have the other kids start screaming around her.

Moon started by sitting up and began with talking, just calling out to the girl gently. Then a little more forcefully. Harriette breathing stay slow and steady, head rested gently in the pillow, heart rate normal for a sleeping child, no small up ticks. She was still solidly in the realm of dreams. Moon was a little surprised expecting that she'd be a light sleeper. So he shook her gently, more by speeding up the slow circles he'd originally used to soothe her to sleep. She didn't wake up at first. He expected a quick flash of awareness, instead it was a slow, stubborn process. Moon was glad, at least they let her sleep. She sat up looking around. Her blood pressure was low, meaning that she was going to be a slow waker. She rubbed her eyes and Moon started the process of getting her at least somewhat ready for the day.

"G'mowin Misser Moom," Harriette grumbled as he helped her stand. It seemed to help a little bit, but she was still going to be a naturally slow riser. She sleepily rubbed sleep out of her eyes. Letting out a yawn. Then looked up at Moon bleary eyed, with slow blinks. She tried to rub them again, but Moon took her hand.

"Let's wash your sleepy little face," Moon said. She nodded.

"Camwy?" She asked. "Cam I." she said, pointing to herself.

Oh my gods, goddesses, stars and-and-. aaaaaawwwwwwwee! Sun blocked out the worst of his delighted shrieks. Moon hated it when he screamed silently in their head, but in this case he really couldn't blame the other. She's sho fucking kyuuuuuuuuuuuuuuute. Sun said. Moon could imagine him kicking his feet, in a silly little ball on the floor. Not that Moon disagreed. Moon scooped the adorable little girl up in his arms.

"Of course you can wash your face," Moon said. Moon scooped up the little girl taking her to the bathroom to wash her face. The cool water seemed to help a lot, and didn't put as much strain on her little eyes. She splashed her face a few times and he handed her a hand towel, one that he or Sun stole, he couldn't remember which. She gently scrubbed her face. "Alright, want to wait for Mayla and Emelia for breakfast." Harriette perked up.

"I get breakfast?" she asked.

"Oh, of course," Moon ran a hand through her hair and she leaned into the touch. Soaking in the affection. "Would you like to eat with the other girls or would you like to eat before they get here."

"With them?!" Harriette said, eyes wide with excitement, wonder, confusion.

"Okay," Moon said, assuringly. "You should wait to brush your teeth after you've eaten. Do you want to change now?

"I don't wanna put on my dirty clothes," Harriette grumbled.

"Well, I'm sure Mrs. Raywood will bring you some more clean clothes, or you can wear something from the storage."

"I don't want Mrs. Raywood to bring something for nothing," Harriette said, curling in a little nervously. "I don't want to seem ungrateful."

"I'm sure Mrs. Raywood wouldn't mind you saving the clothes she brings for tomorrow," Moon said. "And I'm sure she'd want you to take them home with you." Moon said.

"I-I can't do-" Harriette started, but Moon decided it was best to stop those thoughts.

"Remember they've got too many at their house already," Moon said. Harriette sat thoughtfully. Before nodding.

"I'd like to ask her first," Harriette informed. Moon nodded. He picked her up, she snuggled into the hold. If Moon was capable of making any expressions, he was sure that he would be wearing a soft smile. Harriette settled in his hold so easily and happily. Even as Moon lifted off the ground and drifted around. They settled on the ground to wait.

"Wanna do another page of spiders," Moon offered. "I'll hold our spot if we have to stop." Harriette nodded excitedly.

Harriette wasn't finished drawing the spider before Emelia and Mayla shouted from the top of the railing, by the slide. Adrianna, the Raywoods, and Newton (Emelia's family) were all together.

"Moony!" Emelia called first, then noticed who else was there. "Harriette!" Her grin grew wider. Adrianna sat down her coffee and started up the tablet-like computer that was used as a sign up and sign in for daycare attendees. Mayla waved, shrieking the same things, and jumping up and down. Eventually she got tired of waiting for her grandparents and Emelia's parents to sign them in. She picked the other girl up princess style, the girl shrieked and giggled and Mayla swung down. It really was hard to believe that the girl was only seven. The Raywoods didn't seem to be the type to lie. The two sent colorful spheres flying through the air as they landed in the ballpit. She stood, tall enough that she didn't technically need lifting. But Moon still scooped the two girls up. Sun and Moon always took extra care with kids that were usually too big for human adults to pick up.

Sun thought it was unfair and sad that kids that grew physically faster were expected to grew emotionally faster. They were just kids, they didn't see a difference between themselves and their peers. They didn't fully get why their mom's and dad's could or would no longer pick them up, hold them when they were scared or hurt, or help them up when they found an obstacle. Expected that because of their size they could learn to do it on their own. So, even though Mayla was a little more spatially aware then some of the kids. Even though she knew she was bigger than her peers, big enough to lift and carry them, she still deserved to be picked up by a trusted adult figure. So, when Moon scooped up his oldest regular he picked up his newest regular. Lifting them into his arms, both throwing arms around his neck to stay balanced. Before stepping out of the ballpit and starting toward the table where Harriette had been. She was over by the cubbies, he could see that she was putting her spider booklet away in the same cubby she'd put her backpack in. She made sure they were still far away from her as she pushed it away. Moon hated the way she looked guilty and scared as she did so, but she stood, putting on a bright smile and waving. She was far too aware of other people for a child her age. Still Moon thought it might be better that way. As much as it broke his heart sometimes kids could be cruel, and Harriette deserved to have at least a somewhat good time. She ran over and greeted her friends, talking to them excitedly as they all settled for breakfast. She explained that she was having a sleepover with Mr. Moon.

She's too fucking precious, Sun cooed. Moon would snort if he were able. But he did agree.

Language, Moon said, in an affectionate lecture.

Nope, Sun said. They watched as the three girl's ate their food, while Emelia told her early morning. Harriette had her little cheeks filled up so much they were out like a little squirrel. But she was making sure to chew well before swallowing.

"My dad called me!" Mayla said, excitedly.

Called? Sun had assumed the man was just busy or had passed away with her mother. Moon had been a little less sure of those things, however he'd also been under the belief that her father might have been in prison. Moon had vague information of the criminal justice system, often more gathered for the things kids said, which Moon understood to take with a grain of salt depending on the child's age.

"He called me on his own even! Can you believe it," Mayla scooped another mouthful of eggs, chewed and swallowed. Moon had gotten onto her enough about that. "He was just calling to make sure I was happy, but he still called me!" Mayla said. Harriette tilted her head to one side.

"Oh! I'm so happy for you," Emelia said, grinning. "I'm glad you got to talk to your dad, and it's even better that he called you on his own." Harriette tilted her head to the otherside, brows wrinkling at the way the conversation was going.

"I know right?!" Mayla said, bouncing in her excitement. "He never remembers to call me on his own." Mayla said, spearing one of the fruit slices, Sun always wished he could give the kids fresher options but the packaged stuff was better than nothing. "Granny Nova and Bram-paw usually have to call him." She said, "After reminding him, he usually asks them to pass the phone over to me." Sun was getting more and more worried about the girl as they talked about the relationship between her and her father. She was wiggling like a gleeful puppy, and Moon laughed at that cute display, but he agreed that it was worrying.

"Why doesn't he visit?" Harriette asked after swallowing her last mouthful. She'd stayed quite guarding her food as she shoveled it into her mouth and chewed. Moon was glad she'd asked, Sun was biting his metaphorical nails hoping it would result in a fight.

"He lives in America," Mayla said. "He's also real busy. He does make sure that whenever he's reminded to tell me he loves me." Mayla said. There was a small amount of defensiveness in her tone. Harriette just nodded.

"Oh, he must have a really important job," Harriette said. This seemed to placate, and even excite Mayla.

"Yeah! He has a super important job," Mayla said. "Super important." then she giggled, like she'd just told a joke. She settled on her haunches then. "He's got a lot of important stuff that he's gotta do. He wants me to be safe so he doesn't want me talking about it. He makes things…" Mayla continued for a while. Moon was glad that it was only Emelia who despite being a gabby little booger she could keep a secret like a steel trap. Harriette was far too shy to be gossiping with anyone else. Harriette was far too nervous around others to be the type to share information with anyone else. Still Moon was relieved when Mayla seemed to distract herself with a tangent, Emelia helping by asking about her favorite cartoon. Harriette actually seemed confused, but seemed to accept the way the conversation was going.

"But still he should call you more often," Harriette states with a surprising amount of conviction that causes Mayla to freeze. "He shouldn't need to be reminded to call you." Her voice is still low, and soft, but it's also serious. "You deserve better."

"He loves me," Mayla said back, looking upset. Harriette seems surprised.

"I'm sorry, I'm sure he does," Harriette looks away guilty.

"He does," Mayla said very seriously. "He tells me whenever we talk on the phone, and he did remember today." Harriette opens her mouth, but then closes it, nodding, and offering her hand to Mayla.

"I'm sure you're right," Harriette said. "Parents ought to love their children."

"If someone doesn't love you it says more about them then it does about you," Moon said, wanting to provide comfort to at least two of the three girls. Emelia's parents were at least present, and didn't seem to be abusing her. Though Moon couldn't always say they weren't neglecting her emotional needs. He cared about these three girls, deeply. Mayla pouted at him now, seemingly feeling betrayed. "Well, it does sound a little worrying, you can't blame Harriette and me for worrying about it. But if your dad's calling now, and making sure to tell you he loves you, that must be the truth." Moon knew that wasn't true. Parents lie. Plenty of parents don't care for their kids the way they should, but still, Moon wanted to believe it. Wanted it to be true for Mayla's sake.

"Oh, well, it's true, he does love me, he's great, but he's got lots of super important work," She said. Harriette and Emelia seem to be placated, but Moon worried. She was a little too insistent, still sure but defensive. He ruffled Mayla's hair, she looked up at him, grinning at the affection.

"Me too!" Emelia said, Moon gave her hair a ruffle, Mayla's response was trusting but not touch starved the way Emelia's was, when he gave Harriette a hair ruffle too she leaned into the touch even in her surprised state. Moon hated anyone who would put these girls through so much pain. They deserved so much more affection. They were done eating so he pulled the three into his lap, he was made for cuddles. The three squealed delights. The daycare wouldn't officially open until the pizzaplex did. He had some time. His girls were fed, and two out of three were dressed. They'd brush teeth and do hair, and get Harriette dressed.

He snuggled the three for a moment, before tickling. Herding them toward the bathroom to brush teeth. He got to work untangling Emelia's hair, because it was thick and curly and a little bit too springing. It was the one that needed the most amount of detangling. Mayla's hair was thick, but not nearly as curly, needing very little detangling.

The lights came on as the girls finished brushing their teeth and while Moon was pulling out the hair brush. Sun took over with a second of getting used to being in control again. It was annoying when they were forced to switch when they were mid task. Moon couldn't be out when the area's lighting hit a certain level, Sun couldn't be out if it was below. Their room was kept at a level where both could be out, allowing them to switch comfortably. At least they were until the company had installed that stupid protocol, making it harder for Sun to be out at night, when the daycare lights were turned off. It was absolutely ridiculous and stupid.

"G'mowming Sumb," Mayla said, mouth full of toothpaste foam. Emelia waved excitedly to Sun. Harriette turned, then made sure to spit and rinse before saying her morning greeting. Sun finished getting them ready, and Harriette waited for Mrs. Raywood to finish up her morning things. Sun watched as she waited. When the Raywoods entered Harriette looked to Sun, he gave her an encouraging gesture, like go on.

"Mrs. Raywood, Mr. Raywood?" She asked for the two adults' attention with a soft question. "May I speak with you?" She asked.

"Of course, little pup?" Mrs. Raywood said.
"Oh, right, um, first good morning," Harriette said, surprising everyone. Sun sent Moon there version of a keyboard smash.

She's too f'ing precious, Moon thought in response.

"So, I was- well Moon said, I mean- Oh, I-I-I should th-thank you for the clothes." Harriette said, pointing to her outfit. "It's very nice, and the other one too. I don't know if I thanked you. Oh, and my doll, the one that looks like S-sun-Mr. Sun." Harriette sounded like she was struggling more and more.

"Moon told her that you wouldn't mind if she kept them, but she wanted to ask you to make sure," Sun said, ruffling the girl's hair. "You did a good job."

"Bu-but I-"

"Just trying to ask was hard wasn't it?" All three adults asked at the same time. Harriette looked between them, they were all chuckling a mixture of amusement and awkwardness. After a moment Harriette nodded ducking behind her Plushies. "Then you did a-" All three were saying at once. "Sorry, I-" They all chuckled.

"You really did do good just for trying to ask if it was hard," Mr. Raywood said. Sun chose to just ruffle the girl's hair again, and Mrs. Raywood gave her a gentle pat on her tiny shoulder. Mister and Misses Raywood and Sun had to do a little more prep-work before the daycare opened in fifteen minutes. The girls were all seated at the tables to be out of the way, coloring. Harriette had to stop ever so often to pick up the crayons, pencils and pens that Mayla and Emelia would leave out of their boxes, Sun was going to have to come up with something to solve that. Harriette deserved to be able to relax while here. Though she was at least still talking to the other girls while cleaning up.

"So, Bonnie and Chica were talking about-" Mayla was saying as Sun was passing their table. While she was talking Emelia was saying.

"So, then Martin went and grabbed the lizard by its tail and then-" Sun looked over and noticed that the two were using sign language too. If Sun could smile he would, it seemed that the two were evenly matched in their ability to hold a conversation, judging by how the two were responding to the other's words. Harriette was the only one drawing now, the other two's projects abandoned. Sun continued on his way, setting up the large round barrel blocks that he liked to stack. Keeping a sensor out for their conversation while checking logs, intake forms, camera's and messages and a million other things as he finished stacking the barrels and headed by to the girls. Sending responses to what was important for him to respond to.

"So, why were you here so early?" Mayla asked. Distracted by her own mind. Harriette looked up from her drawing.

"Weren't we talking about the episode and Martin?" Harriette asked.

"Yeah, but now I'm asking why you were here so early," Mayla shrugged. Harriette shrugged.

"I'm not sure, I guess my family won a daycare sleepover pass," Harriette said. "Isn't that right, Mr. Sun?" Harriette asked, turning to him.

"That's right," Sun said, if he could he'd be wearing a soft smile instead he ruffled the girl's hair. "Harriette will be joining Moonpie and I here at the daycare for the next three nights." Harriette had leaned into the touch, but her face lit up at the words he'd said. Moon noticed that both the older Raywoods rubbed their noses, and shared a sad smile.

Sunshine, she only had a three night pass, she already used one? Moon asked his partner.

I added another day, Sun said. He headed back to pull out other art supplies for the morning craft. It was early, something small might be a good choice to help the kids wake up.

Sun! We don't know how long her family is going to be here, Moon said. He knew they'd also know what was on the ticket, surely they wouldn't forget.

I sent the message to them, Sun said. Harriette was chosen for that surprise additional raffle.

Oh! Moon said. It wasn't something they held often, but the family had been spending a lot of money in the plex Harriette scheduled to take up a spot in the daycare for multiple days, but usually that was an actual raffle, chosen at random. Of course it wasn't that difficult to lie about it. Still, it wasn't something they usually chose to do. Still, four nights of a safe place to sleep would probably do wonders for Harriette. It wasn't perfect but it was better than nothing. If Moon was still in control of the body he'd have nodded.

"That's nice," Mayla said. "You won't have to go back to your awful relatives." Harriette turned to the other girl, opening and closing her mouth, probably trying to defend her relatives. Finally arriving at a decision.

"Hey, at least they kept me," Harriette said, looking down at the table. She looked miserable there. "They could have gotten rid of me." Harriette said. "At least they didn't-" Harriette shrank in on herself then, getting smaller and smaller. "They could have sent me to an orphanage or so-"

"Orphanage?" Mr. Raywood asked.

"Ah- yeah," Harriette said. "They said that they'd probably treat me way worse there."

"They're aren't any orphanages in the country anymore," Bram said. Harriette looked up at him in surprise. Her eyes started growing wet with unshed tears.

"That's not true," Harriette said looking away, she was almost curled in on herself. "Why would they lie about that? And still they- they still kept me!" She looked up angrily. "It would've been way worse if they didn't keep me. I would have- I-I-I wou-woul-d-d." It was like the words were starting to choke her. Sun nearly dropped what he was holding and rushed over to her. Rubbing soothing circles on her back.

"Breath," Sun said, "just breathe, you're okay." Harriette pulled in desperate little breaths.

"I'm fine, I'm fine," Harriette insisted as soon as she got a full breath in her lungs. "I'm fine."

"That's too close to a lie, sweet pup," Mr. Raywood said. "It tickles my nose." He rubbed his nose. Mayla giggled.

"I am fine," Harriette said, glaring. "Your nose must be broken." It was said with so much seriousness, that it landed on silly.

"I was talking about your relatives and keeping you," Mr. Raywood jokes.

"I'm not lying, they didn't have to keep me," Harriette said. "They could have go-go-gotten ri-ri-rid of me-me." Harriette forced out the words. "A-a-an-and the-they h-h-ha-have to p-p-ay e-ext-ra-ah m-mo- to keep m-m-me." Harriette said, clearly trying to come up with reasons that she was being treated so poorly. Mr. Raywood looked like he wanted to interject, but Sun gestured for him to let her finish before interrupting. Moon hated listening to it but he knew that he was right, she wouldn't believe them if they couldn't clear up all her misconceptions. She needed to be heard out even if what had to say was so obviously recited Bu-BS. "I-I-I mean, th-th-ey, e-ev-ev-even l-l-le-eh-et m-mah-me g-gah-go t-to sch-school." She was clearly frustrated with her own struggle to get the words out, not realizing that it was just making it worse. Still Sun rubbed soothing circles into her back, encouraging her to just get her thoughts out no matter how hard it was. "Th-theh-they le-et mah-me co-come he-here a-a-an-d that's-s nah-nice of the-them." Harriette said. Sun waited a moment, Harriette looked up at him.

"Was that all you felt you needed to say?" Sun asked. Harriette nodded. Sun hugged her, nodding to Mr. Raywood to let him know it was fine to say his piece. It's important to listen to children all the way through.

"That's a lie," Mr. Raywood said. "There are no laws that make it so anyone have to pay to keep a child, not more than any other child anyways, if anything there are programs they could apply to for help with taking care of you. They could literally be paid for having you." Mrs. Raywood nodded, smiling from over her husband's shoulder. "In fact I'm going to talk to them about these."

"W-wait I-" Harriette started.

"Don't worry, I'll just make sure they know about the options that will make it easier to care for you," Mr. Raywood said, Mrs. Raywood's nose twitched a little at that. Moon wondered if it was a lie, but shook it off, there was no way they actually had the ability to sense lies. Sun's attention was almost entirely on soothing Harriette.

"P-Pr-pro-"

"Promise," Mr. Raywood said. "I'm just checking to make sure that you're going to be taken care of." Mr. Raywood said. Harriette fidgetted. She nibbled her lip for a moment before nodding.

"May-maybe they don't kn-know," Harriette said. "B-but U-u-uncle Ver-vernon doesn't li-like char-charity, he-he thinks it's fo-for la-lazy pe-peo-people." Harriette managed. "He-he probably won't li-like it i-if you b-b-bring it up."

"Then I'll bring it up to your aunt," Mr. Raywood said. "She's your mother's sister, so she'll probably want to know how she can better take care of you." Mr. Raywood said.

"O-o-o-k-k-kay," Harriette said, sounding worried.

"I'm sure she'll be glad to hear it," Mr. Raywood said, standing up then. He ruffled Harriette's hair and smiled down at her. She leaned into the touch but still looked so worried. Mr. Raywood left the rest of them there.

"Heck if anything they've been trying to pass laws that would mean that not having children is more expensive." Mrs. Raywood said. "Even though just existing can be expensive enough. Still there are lots of programs to help children and people with children. I'm sure at least some of those are going to be something your aunt and uncle might be willing to use." Harriette nodded.

"M-may-maybe th-they tried, b-b-but they don't l-let kids l-li-like m-me in." Harriette said, so softly Moon wasn't sure anyone was supposed to hear it.

That was when a specific sound played over the speakers and then an announcement of the daycare being open officially, the daycare opened a bit before the rest of the plex, but it wouldn't be long. Moon was already starting to get the intake notices for the rest of the employee kids and the first of the non-employee kids.

"Alright let's go spinning 'fore it gets all crowded!" Emelia shouted, slamming her hands on the table. Harriette flinched.

"Gentle," Sun and Mayla said at the same time. Sun comforting Harriette while Mayla patted Emelia's hand.

"We can spin," Mayla said. "It sounds fun." Harriette nodded. Mayla was standing up and stretching. "Let's go."

"Oh, would you look at that," Sun said. "Guess who just clocked in, and just as you decided to run around."

"Who? Who?" Mayla asked, bouncing, Harriette looking curiously up at him.

"Weasleys!" Emelia cheered.
"Looks like it's all of them today too," Sun said. Moon was already chuckling as Mayla's and Harriette's faces grew more excited as they explained.

"Genni!" Mayla shouted. "Fred and George! Ginny and Fred and George!" Mayla started chanting.

"Ginny never comes this often!" Emelia said, bouncing. "Maybe she wanted to be around since you'll only be here for so long." Harriette looked at her in amazement.

"It-I'm sure its-" Harriette looked to Sun for a way to answer.

"Only one way to find out!" Sun said. Moon could feel his grin from in the back of the mind. "There they are!" Sun pointed to the top of the railing where the Weasleys were waving.

"Ginny!" Hqarriette shouted."

"Fred and George and Ginny," Mayla added. The three girls were running over pulling Sun toward the ball pit where the siblings would emerge into the daycare. Percy was being dragged by three of his younger siblings. The fourth, a bit behind him. Ginny bouncing next to him. Bill filling out the check in form.

"Weasleys!" Emelia called, bouncing around Sun with Mayla. Harriette was getting more energetic with her waving. The three girls were at least bouncing as they awaited their friends. Barely patiently waiting for their arrival. Sun stood with them watching their excitement in each child's eyes.

I love our job, Sun thought to Moon.

I fucking hate our job, Sun growled, barely contained rage seeping through his and Moon's shared link. The daycare had barely been open for fifteen minutes. The daycares max occupancy was 40, that was supposed to be the hard limit. Why the fuck are their fifty children in here! Sun said.

I told you they wouldn't care about fire safety, Moon said, wishing he could do more then just watch from the background as Sun struggled, performing routines and scans and so very little while Sun was forced to rangle almost fifty kids. They were thus far only three short, but still, that was… Three less kids they had to worry about. Just then three more kids, a set of siblings were checked in.

Fuck me gently with a chainsaw, Sun growled. Moon decided to let him have his language, as long as he didn't cuss at the kids.

Graphic, Moon declared, Where'd you even learn that phrase from, probably checking over the information and internally groaning over their link

What now?! Sun was currently trying to soothe one of the fussy babies, there were several of them today. Seven babies, under the age of two. Toddlers, two to four years of age, were fourteen in number. Nine kids, between the ages of five and nine. And eleven pre-teens, from ten to twelve. Then there were the kids that came in enough to be counted as regulars, which were mostly between the ages of five and nine, Percy being the only exception at ten. He'd taken charge of the older kids that didn't have younger siblings who they felt like they should at least look after a little bit.

The family was at the door, Sun was forced to pick up one of the littlest babies, he'd need to have Percy hook up one of the more complex harnesses, for the veritable hoard of infants, but that would come later. Mrs. Raywood had split the kid group into smaller activities. Percy was doing the same with the almost teens. The toddlers were cordoned off again, one of the play structures sectioned off by a toddler fence that Sun had started setting up when he realized that there were going to be so many.

Mr. Raywood hadn't returned from the trip he'd taken either. So Sun and Mrs. Raywood were on their own. Mayla, Emelia, Harriette and the younger four Weasleys were helping set things out. Sun planned on rewarding each for their helping, hoping that showing it would result in kids being more cooperative. Not that it helped with the infants.

Sun, still struggling with the infant who was kicking and screaming and squirming, opened the daycare door. He was not particularly pleased that he'd been forced to let them in rather then have them slide into the daycare. Still he was a professional and he'd act like one.

"Hello, new friends," Sun said, gesturing them in. The woman who was with the three kids looked up to meet Sun's face, and blanched. Sun was used to people deciding he was freaky looking so he ignored it to focus on the kids. "We just started a game," Sun said. "Why don't you three join the other kids-?" Sun was just going to close the door, since the kids were already signed in via the Superstar Daycare App. But the woman put her hand on his arm, the one he wasn't using to hold a squalling infant. He tilted his head at her. "Is there something the matter?" Sun asked.

"Oh, uh- no, I just-" she said, looking him up and down. "You're tall."

"It's so I can reach the kids on the top of the play structures," Sun said. Not really liking where this was going. There were certain keywords and behaviors he'd learned to look out for over the course of the past six years. Sun checked the family's guest profile and-...

Just fucking great, Sun commented on the growing trouble of the situation. It wasn't bad enough that he was at max capacity. The four guest profiles popped up with the same disgusting three letters that Sun had learned to hate, dispise, over the course of his time as the daycare assistant.

Sun noted that three letter status and shuddered, internally, externally he remained calm. VIPs were usually his least favorite kind of guests. Rich parents, few consequences, and special treatment being a requirement was a recipe for disaster. Still Sun knew better than to react to the rules. Instead he just mentally buckled in for the long ride, wondering where the hells Bramble Raywood ran off to.

Bram followed the scent that Harriette always carried on her to the first of the young girls relatives. The woman was with her son. The boy was six years old, he wore clean well maintained and newer clothes, he was perhaps a little overweight, and perfectly clean. Unlike the little girl who he'd first me in the daycare three mornings ago. She was so young, definitely underweight, dirty clothes that were torn and frayed, skin covered in wounds, and skittish as a dear. The little girl getting nervous, and even bursting into tears at the slightest hint of any negative emotion. Yet still, the girl was kind, helping others in ways that it was clear she was never helped. Not that being kind was necessary for a child to deserve better. Even if she was an angry, reclusive mess she'd still deserve better. The fact that she was better just made it all the more cruel. She deserved better, and the fact that she wasn't getting it while they clearly favored this boy. It didn't matter whose child was who's. They'd taken her in, they chose to keep her with them. Denying her the ability to go to a more loving, caring home. Children deserved to be treated with kindness and love and care, not...

They'd chosen to trap her in a cycle of cruelty for what? What reason could they possibly have to do this to her? Bram was going to at least fine out. Not that it was going to stop him from ending the little girls pain. He just needed to be smart about it. He was going to start by confronting her aunt. It wasn't necessarily the brightest part of his plan, but maybe he could convince the woman to just pass custody over to someone more fit to be a guardian, after all this was her sister's child. Maybe there was at least some compassion in the woman's-.

"Do you think Harriette would like this?" The woman asked.

"Harriette likes drawing and puzzles more," the boy said. It wasn't only the words that caused Bramble Raywood to freeze mid-step. No, it was the fact that he could now see the woman's face. She was taller now, thinner, way thinner, paler; wearing completely different clothing than the last time Bram had seen her but he still remembered her. The shape of her brow, and nose and jaw, the color of her eyes and hair. She was older now but the image of the fourteen year old girl that Bram had met so long ago still peaked through. Petunia Evans.

"Oh," she said, nodding solemnly as she put something back. "I knew she liked drawing, but I didn't know about the puzzles." Petunia put something back on the shelves, and moving on to the next.

"Yeah," the boy said.

"It's good that she- well that she likes thing, Lily liked puzzles too if I remember," Petunia said. She smiled softly at the memory, sorting through the shelves. Why were they talking about Harriette? What possible reason could they have? Why was she asking about things she liked as if she didn't live with the girl? Bram decided to us his enhanced hearing to eavesdrop. "What snacks do you think she'd like?" Petunia, no longer Evans, asked.

"She'll eat anything," the boy said. He vaguely remembered Harriette mentioning his name. What was it? "I once saw her eat bugs." He sounded grossed out, concerned, and a little bit impressed. "Do you think we'll be able to sneak it into her cupboard without Dad noticing?" Bram had a sudden spark of memory. Dudley, the boys name was Dudley.

"We'll claim it's for you for now," Petunia said. "I'm sure I can sneak things in there. Maybe I'll just hand it too her. Anyway don't worry."

"I think those'll be too sweet for her," Dudley said. "She doesn't really get to eat anything sweeter than fruit."

"She might like dark chocolate," Petunia said.

"She likes all kinds of chocolates," Bram said, not unkindly, but just as surprised as the two of them were. The two flinched, and Petunia pulled Dudley behind her. Moving away from Bram with slow, practiced movements. She was looking between him and the store around them like he had set a trap. Pushing Dudley carefully along the shelf. For the boys part he seemed to pick up on his mother's distress and stayed behind her and quiet. Bram held his hands up showing them to be empty. Petunia looked between his hands then her surroundings again. Her shoulders drooping a little in relief, before hitching back up. Eyes still searching for the unseen threat that she must think he brought with her.

"I work at the daycare," Bram explained. The woman relaxed the tiniest bit more, before glaring suspiciously at him. It wasn't an angry glare, it more the look of a cornered wounded animal. Desperate to seem strong and in control.

"It that so," she said, she was shaking the tiniest. She looked like a frightened bird. She was tall, but bony, too thin, a fish could swim in her callor bones. She turned to her son and fiddled with her hair before, like she was assuring herself that he was there and fine. Her eyes still scanning for the unseen, nonexistent danger. At least as far as Bram knew. She pretended to continue looking through shelves. "Th-thank you." she said, grabbing the items she'd picked up before and a few others, Bram could only guess at random because she was still scanning around them. "She's- uh- she's an- a- an especially di-diffic-"

"She is a lovely, kind, caring, hurt and frightened child," Bram said, allowing annoyance to seep into his voice.

"Shut-up!" she tried to put venom into her tone, but it just came out as a scared desperate whisper. She looked around more panicked. "They might hear you." She said through her bared teeth. Her eyes were brimming with panicked tears one leaked out before she wiped it away with a sniffle. "She's di-difficult because she's s-sick a lot. Yeah. C'mon!" She grabbed her son, roughly heading to the counter and putting her items on it. Movements just the tiniest bit too practiced, looking around just the tiniest bit to much. She made her purchases and just barely didn't run out of the store. A terrified rabbit. She wasn't terrified of Bram though, she'd barely spared him more than one or two tentative glances and a small wave as she left, face a little too tense as she searched the crowds. Someone else it seemed was responsible for the stress Harriette was under, and it seemed she wasn't the only victim.

Bram followed the last scent. Bram was now fully on a warpath. He made his way to the main conference room where he found his target standing. He was greeted by one of the Zeta's from his pack. The pack names had become a bit of a little joke amongst them. Stemming from the myth about Alpha and Omega wolves. They'd thought it was terribly clever choosing to use the rest of the alphabet to mark the rest of the pack.

"Here comes the head of this branch of the company now. This is Bramble Raywood, sir, these are the people with the drill company." David said. He was a short man in his late twenties, and while taller than the other two men, he almost ended up looking like a child next to Bram's own considerable height. Bram settled over the table with a dirty look toward the man who carried that last scent. This was his target. A large man, with an impressive mustache, that was the only thing impressive about him.

This was the man who was hurting Harriette, probably the rest of the family. Bram couldn't help remembering Lily Evans. She'd been twelve when he'd first met the girl. Green eyes… How had he not recognized those green eyes? Bright with wonder. She'd been Helena's first friend at Hogwarts, the two had been thick as thieves ever since. Their first summer apart was filled with letter, letters Bram still had stowed away in a box somewhere. Anger bubbled inside Bram's stomach at the knowledge that this man was responsible for one of his grandkids, he may never have officially adopted Lily, but she and Helena had been as close as sisters. How had he not recognized his daughter's best friend's eyes.

Sun was really, really wishing he had any other job. The kids were starting to realize the space wasn't exactly built for the number of kids currently occupying it. It didn't help that toddlers had carved out a huge chunk, and the baby station had limited the space even farther. Sun was honestly a bit at his wits end.

Why the fuck won't the company give up more arms?! Sun growled. As three new fights broke out at the same time. Sun and Nova Raywood had to prioritize the most dangerous fights, two girls arguing loudly over the crayon's would have to wait, unless… Oh, thank fuck! Sun thought relieved as Percy took on the role of helping solve the problem of the two girls. Moonpie~, Sun asked.

Already sent it, Moon informed, sure enough Nova was already heading over to the two older pre-teens that looked like they might be starting to square up for a fight. That left the real fight for Sun. He slipped into the play structure, finding his way to the most difficult of his current daycare guests.

Sun found the two culprits in a heated fight, a real fight, not a kid fight or screaming match, they were punching and kicking and biting each other. Still a part of him had only one concern. Harriette was curled up in one of the smallest hiding spots that Sun had never noticed before. He honestly might not have if he couldn't see the rest of the kids who'd been with her around it, Mayla and Ginny looked like they might've joined the two if Sun hadn't arrived when he did. Emelia was settled on her knees trying to help sooth the younger girl. The twins were looking ready to riot! Oh for fucksake don't we have enough to deal with. Sun doubted there was anything that would stop a Weasley riot if it got started in a daycare this full. Sun picked the two boys up, glad he'd left the babies in their play area given that the two kept trying to fight each other.

Sun ran a scan on the two, Markayus and Alecio, their sister Alecia near-by, having been tossed from the fight trying to peel the two apart. Markayus had a black-eye, and several bites. Alecio had a black eye, bloody lip and nose. Alecia also sported a bloody nose.

"Alright boys," It's time to break it up," Sun said. Fury almost causing him to short circuit. Somehow Sun's voice maintained a friendly calmness, though that might have just been programming. "I need to give all three of you a check up and-"

"Shut the fuck up!" Maykayus shouted. Kicking at Sun's torso. If Sun had facial muscles they'd be twitching.

"Enough," Sun clarified. "I've asked you nicely." Sun said. Fully lifting the two boys, like they were fussy kittens, pinning them to his side so he could turn to Alecia. They could fight there for all he cared. They couldn't hurt another child that way. "Little one, let's go get you cleaned up. Why don't you tell me what happened and we can get things sorted." The girl nodded and started heading down the way Sun had come up. "Harriette, it's alright to come out." Sun called to the hiding spot. It looked surprisingly dark there.

"Don't wanna," She sounded tired.

"Alright," Sun said. "How 'bout when I'm done I come back and talk to you."

"I don't want you to get into trouble," This sounded almost petulant. Somehow that seemed to make it more precious.

"Alright, Pumpkin, come talk to me when you're feeling better, okay?" Sun said. He was halfway down to the med station before he realized he'd said it.

"You're stupid," one of the boys shouted, trying to kick him. Which got him moving even faster. He was calling their parents and at the very least complaining about them. They'd clearly upset Harriette, even if Sun wasn't one hundred percent sure how. Once again Sun almost stopped at the thought that crossed his mind.

The two boys had broken rules, caused each other and another child physical harm, and Sun was more worried about Harriette being scared. Sun was surprised at how fast the little girl had wormed fully into his circuity heart. It made some sense, She was a sweet kid, kind and caring; but she was clearly being treated poorly, very, very poorly. She'd outright confessed that this was the first time she'd made any friends. She was under size and weight. Struggled to sleep. She was his other half's sole sleepover buddy. It made perfect sense. Still he did have more important worries.

"So, what happened?" Sun asked, setting the two boys down at the nearby med station. Both boys glared at him.

"He started it," Markayus shouted. Alecio opened, but then closed his mouth and turned away.

"Whatever, not like you'd believe me anyway," He grumbled. Sun turned to Alecia then.

"What happened?" She looked surprised that he was asking her.

"What would she know?" Markayus shouted. "She's just a dumb girl." She looked disheartened.

"That's not a very nice thing to say about your sister, and I asked her a question," Sun said. "You had your chance, and you lied to me." Sun said, all three siblings looked surprised. "So, Alecia, will you please tell me your side of the story?"

"Yeah, I- well, I- wasn't there for the whole thing," She admitted. "I was nearby, because these two always cause trouble." She put her hands on her hips then, letting blood run freely down her face. Sun took that opportunity to run a scan, the bones in her hand could prevent him from seeing something important, and get to work fixing her up. "So, I mean, I only saw a little bit…" She bit her lip. "But it did kind of look like Alecio threw the first punch, but he's never the one who starts the fights so I know I missed something."

"Alright," Sun finished up her treatment, which was unfortunately just giving her tissues. "Put those in your nose, there wasn't any serious damage so you should be fine in a few. I suggest sitting down for a while." Sun turned to Alecio. While Moon could check the camera photoage Sun preferred having the kids tell him what happened. It allowed them to come to the realization of where things went wrong, decompress, settle the argument, air grievances and grow understanding of the other child. It also allowed Sun to know what the internal thoughts of each child was before, after and during the fight. "Now, Alecio, will you tell me your side of the story?" Alecio looked at him before slowly nodding.

"I was- I can't remember what we were doing before," The boy said. "I just, we ran into that girl, um Harriette? The one that was hiding. Markayus did. She tried to apologize but Markayus is a jerk." Alecio clearly had a grudge against his brother, but he wasn't lying, or he was very good at it.

"You can't call your brother a jerk," Sun said. "I'm not allowed to let you even if your brother was in fact being a jerk. Now what did he do that made you feel the need to punch him."

"I didn't do anything he attacked-"

"You can tell your piece next!" Sun said. "You lost your chance to go first when you chose to lie to me. Now it's Alecio's turn." Markayus clearly was not used to being reprimanded. Sun could not care less. He turned back to Alecio, who shifted and muttered, actually managing to not be heard by Sun's hearing. "I'm sorry, but can you say that a bit louder my processor didn't quite-"

"He hit her!" He said. "She's just little baby and she apologized to him!" Alecio said, bursting into tears. Sun felt his concern grow, change shape. He settled a comforting hand on the boy's shoulder. Taking a deep breath.

"Is that true?" Sun asked. "I already know whether it is, I'm giving you a chance to -"

"What was she even doing out of that baby area anyways?" Markayus shouted. "She clearly hasn't learned to-"

"Enough," Sun growled. "Alecio, I'm afraid that no matter what your reasoning I do have to put you in time out. I do understand your reasoning though, so you only have to be in time out for a few minutes." Sun turned to Markayus. "As for you, bullying is not tolerated, you'll be on time out until- until the next activity. I want an-essay on why it's wrong to hit other kids before you can come out of time out. Alecia, I want you to play a game where you can be seated for a little while okay?" Alecia nodded. Alecio nodded, looking surprised and amazed and almost adoring at Sun. That was definitely not concerning in the slightest. Totally normal for a child to be impressed that an adult was being fair and just.

"What?!" Markayus shouted. "Why am I in trouble? Alecio attacked me!"

"And you attacked another daycare attendee," Sun said, exasperatedly.

"So! She's just some dumb baby, she shouldn't even be playing in the big kid area," Markayus said. "She's the one at fault, she bumped into me. She could've gotten snot on my-"

"Enough!" Sun said, rubbing his faceplate like that would relieve a headache. "You bullied another child. That isn't allowed in the daycare. I don't care why you thought it was okay, it's not. I will not accept such cruel behavior. Now, do I need to put you in time out or will you go willingly?" Markayus decided that kicking Sun and trying to run away was a good idea. It was not.

"I wonder what that man wanted?" Petunia said, settling her back against the wall. They'd walked all the way around the pizza plex twice before she was willing to slip into a hidden corner. Still scanning the crowd for that familiar face. The one that had tormented her most of her life.

"He said he worked at the daycare," Dudley said. Petunia nodded, pulling her son closer to her as she searched the crowd. Surely he wouldn't follow her and Harriette here, surely they were still… Who was she kidding? How were you supposed to play a game you didn't know the rules of? And they were stuck playing this unknown game with a man who was willing to do all kinds of things to get what he wanted.

Vernon stormed out of the meeting hall, toward the Fazzbear Mega Pizzaplex. Fury burning his veins. A small part of him wanted to stop, a small, fragile part of him wanted to take a deep breath and calm down. Instead his foot pressed harder on the gas pedal, now he was breaking the speed limit.

That stupid witch's child was going to have it now, Vernon growled as he was forced to wait at a red light. Foot slamming into the gas pedal as soon as it was green. He was going to kill it, skin it, hang it over a shower rod and- and. He pulled into the parking lot with a hard jerk. It was probably the worst parking job Vernon had ever done. He slammed the car door, and stormed toward the building. The small, fragile voice in the back of his mind tried to get him to breathe, while he was forced to wait in the long line. That seemed to only make him more furious. When he was finally at the front he showed the stupid counter bot his ticket with zero further acknowledgement.

He was still boiling with rage when he reached the daycare check out counter. He'd had to actually look at the map he'd snatched from a worthless bot's hand. He was fuming when he finally got to the point where he could check a child out of the daycare. He tapped his foot impatiently waiting as the bot separated itself from a group of girls at a fake tea party. The bot walked over calmly, slow even pace, stopping every now and then to check on a child that came into his path. Vernon was about ready to explode watching.

"I'm sorry to have kept you waiting, sir, but I'm afraid this is the daycar-" the bot started.

"Where the bloody hell is my nephew," Vernon growled.

"I'm sorry sir, we're not allowed to let anyone who does not have a daycare wristband check out a child. We at the Superstar daycare are not allowed to release any child to any adult without proof of legal guardianship. Besides, my facial recognition software is on the fritz so I have no way of knowing who you are or who your alleged nephew is. I'm afraid you'll need to find your wristband before I am allowed to release any child to you. It will have to be the child that matches your wrist band as well. Safety is our number one concern at the superstar daycare. Have a Fazarific day." Vernon tried to push past the bot, but it very easily and gently pushed him out of the way of the door and closed it. The stupid robot stood by the window and waved, before turning back to the room behind the door. Vernon stomped his foot, hard enough to hurt himself, and stormed away to find Petunia.

Petunia's first instinct when she saw her husband storming toward her and Dudley was to tug Dudley away and run. Where would she go? What would she do? Those were the only things keeping her rooted in place as the man she'd once loved stormed toward her with murder in his eyes. She took a deep breath.

"Hello, dear, how are y-?" Petunia started Shakily.

"Don't hello, dear, me! You know why I'm here," Vernon growled, almost getting into Petunia's face. She had no idea why he was there. Though she had a few guesses.

"Something to do with Ha-the boy," Petunia asked.

"Yes, the boy," He spat the word out like it tasted fowl on his tongue. "Now! Where's the band?" Vernon snatched Petunia's purse from her shoulder, almost yanking her off her feet.

"The band? The Glam- no they wouldn't be in my purse, are you asking about the tickets?" Petunia asked. Hoping to draw his ire toward her. It would hurt but Harriette deserved a little break. Vernon was dumping the contents of her purse onto the ground, with no apparent intention of helping her clean it up. If that was the worst of it she'd be lucky.

"No, Stupid," Vernon tossed the now empty purse into Petunia's face, it wasn't that solid and it was empty, so it didn't hurt. It was just rude.

"The boy, the band," Petunia said, slowly as if she was puzzling something difficult out. "Oh! Do you mean the band that allows us to pick up Harrie?" She asked.

"Obviously!" the man shouted, causing several of the people close by to jump or flinch, others were staring.

"Obviously," Petunia said, thoughtfully. "Vernon, Dear, we agreed we weren't going to let the boy ruin this for us. Remember. I'm sure whatever it is can wait until the daycare passes, that Duddey-kins worked so hard for to run out."

"Yeah, I thought the two of you wanted a break from th-the freak." Dudley spoke up, wondering if he should start helping his mother pick her things up. "It's be a shame to lose them. Whatever it is you can punish her-him for it after the passes run out. Right?"

"Oh, I'll punish it alright," Vernon growled, turning and starting to storm away. "I'll make it regret ever being born! Fine! It'll give me more time to come up with the perfect punishment for it. Maybe I'll cout out it's rotten little tongue." Vernon murmured. Dudley looked panicked toward Petunia who patted his arm.

"He'll probably calm down by the end of the day, he won't even remember wanting to punish Harriette by the time we go to pick her up." She assured her son. Dudley nodded, not really sure he believed her.

"Maybe he wanted ta beat dad up," Dudley said. "He deserves it."

"Dudley," Petunia said. Her voice as soft as she could make it. She settled down on her knees in front of Dudley so she was eye level with him. "Your father isn't evil." She said Dudley looked at her confused, and resentment was clear on his face. "Dudley, sometimes-sometimes," Petuni adjusted herself so she could fiddle with her hands. "Sometimes adults need help, and when they don't get that help they- well, they break. And when that happens they do things they- they end up regretting." Dudley looked at his mother, watching her hold her hands as if in prayer, rubbing the knuckles on different levels before settling.

"Why didn't he demand the help he needed," Dudley asked.

"Sometimes, things are that simple," Petunia said. "Sometimes the people who should want to help are the ones making things harder." She fiddled with her hands, they never left that prayer-like position, but she also never stuck to the same knuckle for long.

"Fine, I won't hate him," Dudley said. Annoyance still clear in his voice as he pouted. "But I won't forgive him either. Breaking isn't an excuse to hurt people, and it's not an excuse to teach your kids to hurt others either." He said the other part more to himself, looking at his hands.

"I'm sorry," Petunia said. "I'm sorry I didn't do a better job teaching you, I'm sorry that you had to go through all the-the things. I'[m sorry I couldn't protect Harriette. I'm sorry I can barely protect us." She freed her hands instead running her hands through his hair. "I'm sorry that things are so-" She paused for a moment. "So messed up." She said.

"I get it," Dudley said. "Well, I mean I don't, but I understand what you're trying to say, or- something."

"Alright," Petunia said. "Let's go try to have some fun. Okay?"

"Kay," Dudley said, settling into a place next to his mother.

Sun took a good deal of satisfaction from shutting the door in the man's sputtering face. Serves him right for hurting Harriette. Sun put up the notice that he wasn't letting people take their kids out without their daycare pass band. He just hoped the man wasn't petty enough to hurt Harriette over someone else's limitations. He sighed, there was nothing he could do about it now, and it wasn't like handing her over to him now would be much better. At least now she had a few days of safety and comfort. Sun received responses back from regulars. They were the ones most effected by it, after all. He'd already explained that his facial recognition software was being a little buggy, though he could still recognize faces he'd rather not risk it. His regulars' parents were sympathetic and concerned, but were polite enough to just go with it.

He headed back to the table where the kids were doing art, or at least most of the older kids. The two and younger crowd were still in the improvised baby pin that Sun, Nova and Percy had made. Sun was hoping to keep the kids from starting any riots by keeping the kids occupied. He'd been forced to fish out three more tables, from storage and several art tarps but he was keeping the kids from fighting thus far. They'd set up a few activities to give the illusion of more space, and create separate sections. The play structures were a little bit off limits, a child had thrown up in the one not cordoned off for the toddlers, so many times.

There ground was just way to wet for it to be safe in there. At least that's what Sun had told the kids. Still it was getting difficult to keep the kids from noticing how crowded there were. Hard to give them enough space when the space Sun did have was rapidly shrinking. But he just couldn't let the kids out in the play structures to eventually devolve into a riot. Sun knew his kids and the twins were on the verge, and with a hoard this big it was going to be impossible to quale the madness. He had to keep it controlled.

Another baby is crying, Moon said with a sigh. Sun headed over to the baby area, glad he sectioned the two off. He was going to need some way of keeping the kids from fighting while in the play structures. Sun decided to start a treasure hunt. He'd split the kids between the remaining two play structures to keep things calm. The older kids would get the bigger more complicated play structure, to keep them busy and entertained.

"Owe," Harriette's voice came through his thoughts and Sun headed over to resolve the situation. Markayus seemed to be the type to hold grudges, and he seemed to blame Harriette for him being in trouble. Sun had separated the boy from Harriette ten times in just thirty minutes. Alecio and Alecia were shoving their triplet to the side to get between two of them even as Sun headed over, voicing disapproval at the older boy's behavior. Alecio shoving his hands in the other boys face, Sun was half tempted to just allow that, as long as it didn't escalate to punching-. Markayus punched Alecio in the face, smacked Alecia in the face with the sticky art project he'd be working on and grabbed Harriette by the hair. Sun shifted the hold on the baby he'd been holding so that it was easier to pass it over to Nova Raywood who'd also been heading over.

"Markayus let go of Harriette now!" Sun said. Markayus glared at him then tried to slam Harriette's face into the table, Harriette was behind him, free of his grip, like Sun's vision had glitched, Katie grabbed her hand and pulled her toward the play structures. Meanwhile Alecio and the twins were tankling Markayus. A riot of shouting and screaming and biting took place. Sun groaned, wanting to check on Harriette and Katie. Ginny bit Markayus, and several other kids joined the fighting. Partially because the flailing limbs had resulted in a lot of further chaos. Broken projects, bruises, and scattered supplies were just some of the reasons.

It honestly a miracle that Sun, Nova, and Bram had managed to revive order. Sun was honestly close to losing his mind by then. Markayus and Alecio were once again being held apart. The boys were still kicking and clawing at each other even as he stood by the door waiting for their parents. Alecia was there trying to pry the two boys' hands away from each other.

"I'm sorry," she'd been saying for the last ten minutes, since they'd regained some order. Bram was watching the kids who'd had to be put into the newly erected baby jail. A group of cardboard and tape and doodling structures that separated the angry children so they could calm down and just not be on top of each other.

"It's not your fault," Sun said, ignoring Markayus's latest attempt at kicking him in the face-plate.

"Let go, you stupid bot!" Markayus growled.

"No," Sun said.

"We're allowed to hit each other we're siblings," Alecio said, much more politely toward Sun. His next words were filled with venom. "You should have left that little baby alone." Sun sighed. Alecio wasn't a bad kid. Misguided, a little too eager to get into conflict, but not a bad kid. Markayus was however a bad kid. Sun couldn't say he was a bad person, but he was a very naughty child. "I'm only going to punch my stupid, jerk brother!" Alecio said.

"Stop it," Alecia tried, keeping the boys hands away from each other. They were pulling each other's hair, and trying to get a better reach on each other.

"Shut up, stupid, nobody cares what you think!" Markayus shouted.

"I care, it's just that your literally the devil," Alecio shouted.

"Both of you stop!" Sun tried not to raise his voice often. "You've bruised several other children, caused emotional harm to several others," Sun would have ground out if he was capable of expressing that sort of emotion. "You've damaged Fazbear property, you've incited a riot." Sun turned to the baby jail. A small hoard of children sitting in time out. Emelia had fun with the construction at least, but now the girl was with Nova trying to sooth the group of younger charges. The kids over the age of four had climbed free and joined in, so several of them were in time out too, but the kids who'd been too small to do so were all fussing and upset. All the Weasleys except for Percy were in the baby jail. Harriette and Katie were hiding together in one of the many spots that Harriette was so good at finding. Percy was in charge of the kids currently doing an art project to keep them from further chaos, away from the currently still destroyed original area. Sun sighed looking down at the two boys. Alecia, who'd only tried to keep her brother separated from Harriette was still allowed to join Percy and the other kids, after she cleaned up her face and hair. She was still covered in paint and glue. She was even now still trying to reign in her brother's chaos, but was instead taking several of Markayus's blows. Alecio trying to avoid hitting her.

"Alecia, you don't have to help, though the thought is appreciated, I can handle a pair of unruly children." Markayus made an offended noise and began protesting that he wasn't a child. "I'll be fine. You should go get cleaned up." Alecio seemed appropriately chided. So, Sun would lessen his punishment, maybe he'd just have him take a seat in the baby-jail since he'd only fought his brother in defense of another child. Markayus tried to punch Alecio getting too close, and Alecio decided that he'd had enough of Markayus's shit. He bit him. Hard enough to start breaking the surface. Markayus shrieked, and Sun thought that maybe that was a fair response. "Alecio, stop biting your brother."

"Stop it," Alecia tried to pry her brother's apart.

"Alecia I appreciate the thought, but I don't want you getting any more hurt," Sun said. "At least not while under my care." Sun tried. "Please just go get cleaned up." Sun said. "I've already contacted your parents."

"They won't come," Alecia said. "They don't care about what we do." She folded her arms like a hug. Markayus was trying to kick himself free on the daycare attendants hold.

"Okay, well, I put in a complaint so at least they're aware of what these two are up to," Sun said. He received a message confirming the girls' suspicions. Sun sighed. "That was them," Sun said, "You go get cleaned up. I'll take care of these two." Sun walked over to the baby jail area and gently lowered Alecio to the floor. "Another inmate."

"No luck with their parents?" Bram asked. Showing the boy to one of the tiny box jail cells. He was put inside and he waited. "What about him?" Bram asked.

"He seems to hate this, and he won't stay put," Sun said, remembering that he'd been forced to literally watch the child and put him back several times.

"Go die!" The boy shouted, "Why does he get off so easily?"

"He'll stay put." Sun said. Walking over to a wall. He faced it and turned his head around and around until he was facing the rest of the daycare. "I can still see you all. I'll take over the watch, can you go take over for Nova so she can help Alecia."

"Yeah," Bramble Raywood said, heading toward his wife. They switched out positions and Nova led the girl to the bathroom to get cleaned and patched up. He asked Percy if he could go check on Harriette and Katie who'd run off at the onset of the riot. Percy gave a quick nod, heading in to the play structure to seek out the girls. After a bit he came back, headed over to the daycare toys and collected a set of cards before heading over to Sun to let him know that the girls were both too stressed to come out of their hiding spot, so he was going to hand them the cards to help them calm down. Sun nodded, already starting to feel exhausted.

Early naptime? Moon offered. Sun sighed.

No, besides I doubt we'll get the kids to go to sleep.

True, Moon grumbled. Sending over a hug emoji/gifs they'd crafted. Sun sent one of him, sighing them smiling, and giving a thumbs up. They'd crafted them to help with their limited facial range. So that at least other bots could understand their feelings. They'd crafted a few sets that helped with other bots' emoting issues. It had been a fun way to test their capabilities.

Sun released the first kids who's time outs were finished. The talbot siblings (Name: Susan. Age 10. Allergies: No known. And. Name: Alison. Age:8. Allergies: Eggs), Daniella, the youngest Minnette (Name: Meghan. Age: 5. Allergies: Shellfish, and Bell Pepper) and Phomena Everly (Age: 5. Allergies: No Known). Daniella headed over to help Percy with the art kids. She started a game of 'follow the leader'. She'd gotten into trouble for head-butting one of the twelve year olds who'd decided to try and take advantage of the chaos too, well, Sun didn't want to even think about what he'd almost allowed to happen. The child had been taken by the security guard to the lost and found and his parents and the police were called. Sun hoped the kid got the help they needed. Sun sighed, waiting for the next group of releasees. Dirk Rome (Age: 6. Allergies: Pollen, eggs, and peanuts), the Alexander brothers (Name: Tyler Sebastian. Age: 11. Allergies: No Known. And. Name: Sebastian Tyler. Age: 8. Allergies: Eggs and Silver.), and Jonie Cree Best (Age: 10. Allergies: Tree Nuts). They were allowed to join the other kids in their game of following the leader. The last of the kids were the instigators, the Weasleys and the two Seymour brothers. The Weasley's time was up a few minutes later. Then another five minutes and Sun told Alecio he was free to go.

"Alright, release me," Markayus said as Alecio went to check on Alecia.

"Nope," Sun popped the p the best way he could.

"What do you mean 'nope'?" Markayus shouted, starting to kick and squirm again. "You let everyone else go. You let Alecio go. You have to release me too."

"I don't think I do," Sun said.

"Of course you do! That's the rules you stupid bot!" Markayus shouted.

"You're the whole reason the fight broke out in the first place," Sun began ticking off the boys daycare crimes. "You were bullying another daycare attendee-"

"So!" the boy shouted.

"I wasn't finished, but fine," Sun said. "That will just add to your time." Sun shrugged.

"No!" Markayus shouted. "I deserve to be released. You released Alecio." He said his brother's name like it was supposed to be some sort of code word. "You have to let me go! That's the rule!" He shouted.

"No it's not!" Sun said. "You see this place, it's my kingdom, I make the rules. You broke them!" Sun said. "The rules are very simple. Don't hurt other daycare attendees, don't bully, and don't go behind the desk."

"I didn't go behind the desk," Markayus said, sounding like he found some sort of loophole in Sun's logic.

"Yes, but you broke all the other rules," Sun said, like Markayus was very stupid. He might be stunted. It seemed he was under the impression of some weird rules. Sun had zero intention of humoring the boy. "You put your fellow daycare attendees in danger."

"So!" Markayus shouted.

"Are you really not getting it?" Sun asked, seriously starting to feel the boy might actually be mentally impaired. Maybe that's why he seemed to get away with more?

"You can't keep punishing me if you let all the other kids go!" the boy shouted. "You did this before too, you didn't punish that stupid baby for breaking the rules."

"Harriette didn't break any rules." Sun sighed. Exhaustion starting to really get the better of him.

"That's baby did so! She wasn't where she was supposed to be so she got in the way of her betters!" Markayus shouted. Sun sent another message informing the parents that Markayus refused to follow the rules.

"Harriette's not a baby, she's five, in fact if anything you were in a place you weren't supposed to be," Sun said. "Two, no one is better than anyone else, unless they act like it, and you are not acting like your better than the infants over there. Three, you weren't watching where you were going either. Four, Harriette apologized and finally. You attacked her. Meaning that in that situation you were the only one breaking any of the rules." The boy glared at Sun.

"That's not fair," Markayus growled.

"How is it not fair?"

"You didn't say that it was against any rules," Markayus said.

"It's not something that normally needs to be said," Sun growled. "Normal people don't want to cause other people harm or distress. Its outside of my parameters to even conceive that someone would go out of their way to break a rule that is basic common decency. I'm surprised it's not a rule you've encountered before."

"That's stupid!" Markayus shouted. "I'm better than-"

"Your not better than anyone!" Sun said. "Being better means not trying to attack others-"

That's! Stupid! You're stupid! Being better is just being better," Markayus shrieked. "She's grosser, and smaller, and weaker, and stupider, and poor." He shouted. "She doesn't deserve to be punished for not paying attention and getting out of my way!" he kept going but Sun was half tuning him out. He was still in time out and he was already starting to build up another troubling situation. Honestly he was skilled.

"Alright, fine," Sun said. Walking over to a specific spot. He put him down. "Bram!" Sun shouted. "Take this kid to Adrianna, fill out an official report!" Technically Sun could simply ban the child and call security, but with a VIP it worked a little differently. An Official report had to be filled out. The parents would be required to show up, or the child in question would be submitted as abandoned. That meant that Sun could finally pass the child off to his parents. If they liked their child as a brat they could deal with his bratty behavior. Adrianna was waving, gesturing from Bram to take the child and lead him up to her spot. "Kick Bram, and we'll report it as assault." Sun informed. The boy settled down, apparently he was aware of what assault was.

"It's not assault," the boy tried. "He's an adult."

"So," Sun repeated the boy's own words. Sun checked over the kids still at the tables and who were playing on the smaller play structure, noting that Katie and Harriette were both still missing. Checking his sensors, the cameras showed he located the two in a frankly tiny nook somewhere deep in the play structure that was the largest, and the most complex. The tiny little space was honestly one of Sun's least favorite places in the daycare too. A tiny space where three different pieces of the play structures came together to make a small gap in the wall where several kids had fallen through. A broken bone, several injuries, and a lawsuit had gotten management to at least put a plastic platform beside it. However this had resulted in some of the more rebellious, adventurous or rambunctious kiddos to use the things to climb up. Another round of complaints had gotten management to close off parts of it. Now only the tiniest of children could get through it. Harriette being one of them.

Sun crawled over to them from the outside, since it was impossible to reach them from the inside of the play structure. The two girls were playing cards, as he'd expected. Harriette and Katie both communicating in sign language as they played.

"Hey little ones," Sun said to them, both girls turned to him, and Harriette's eyes lit up, and she waved to him. Katie took a little longer to get control of her feelings. "Sorry, didn't mean to surprise you. How are you?" Sun asked watching the two girls. Katie shoved her cards away and started signing angrily.

'That boy keeps following, Harriette, and he's mean,' she said, 'and loud. I don't like him.'

"Yeah, that's fair. He's in time out," Sun said. "I contacted his parents to complain again. Management is being selfish and stupid, so I'm not sure how soon we'll be getting rid of him.

'That other kid was scary,' Katie added. 'And everyone started fighting. Why can't we just kick him out?"

"Unfortunately Management made a special note not to," Sun grumbled. "You two can stay here. I was thinking we'd do a scavenger hunt soon. You two can be on Emelia's team? And he will not be participating until he apologies."

'It won't help,' Harriette signed.

"Then he clearly didn't mean it, and he won't be getting out of time out," Sun gave the two his version of a wink. Katie smiled signing to Harriette that Sun could tell when others lied by their heart rates. Harriette tilted her head in confusion, but then smiled.

'Okay, we'll come out,' Harriette said.

"Are you ready to let him try and apologize or do you need some more time and space?" Sun asked. Harriette looked at him surprised.

'I get to decide when he apologies to me?' she asked.

"Of course, you're the one he hurt, you should get to decide whether or not you forgive him," Sun said. Harriette paused for a moment thoughtfully. Then she signed.

'I'm ready now if he is,' she stood up. 'How does it work?'

"We head over to the baby jail and ask him if he's ready to apologize and if he is and he means it, he can come play with the rest of us." Sun explained. "You don't have to force yourself. You can take a little more time."

"I'm ready," Harriette said more firmly.

"Okay, and how are you feeling Katie?" Sun asked.

'If Harriette is ready I am,' Katie signed. The two girls took each other's hands and headed through the play structure, Sun climbing through to join them at the bottom.

'Are you sure?' Harriette was asking Katie as Sun joined them.

'I'm going to join the game over there,' Katie said. 'I don't like dealing with brats who don't like apologizing.' She smiled at that waving as she joined the game of following the leader. Sun watched fondly for a moment, then Harriette tugged his pant leg. When he looked down she gestured for him to come closer so she could tell him a secret.

"You're like a spider," Harriette said, smiling. Sun felt warm affection, soft and simple cover him just then.

"Thank you." Sun said. Harriette's smile grew even wider. Sun wished he could share it with her.

Markayus was not the type to apologize, so after cleaning up with Harriette and Percy, both insisting on helping, Sun sent the kids on a scavenger hunt through the play structures. He'd given each kid a little pouch and had them search for little treats throughout the daycare. Markayus threw a fit the whole time. Sun told him that all he had to do was to admit that bullying was wrong, mean it, and change his buying ways. He'd refused, doubled down actually. Sun was not particularly pleased with him, when he was forced to let him out, after two hours. He couldn't very well keep him in there. Harriette had gone into the toddler area to help Mrs. Raywood though, so Sun had assumed he would still leave her alone.

"Hey!" Emelia's voice rang out. Sun had been helping a group of younger kid-kids with some art. Sun turned around to see what was going on. There he was, in the toddler area picking a fight with Harriette. They were on one of the lower branching paths, a spot that had an unwelcomed opening, Sun hadn't thought it was a problem since all the little kids were too small to reach the only hand hold and the area under was padded. Fazbear Entertainment refused to block it off completely since it was 'well cushioned' and 'low to the ground' and 'if the attendant does his job it's not a problem'.

Markayus had lifted Harriette up by her collar. Hoisting her over the railing. Harriette was staying far to still to have kept him from getting her over.

"Put her down," Emelia shouted, at the same time Sun started over. He was fairly sure that it wouldn't be to dangerous, but it wasn't exactly something he was willing to risk. There were ways that a human could get very unlucky.

"Fine," he dropped her, over the edge. Sun knew it was still far enough to hurt a lot, and potentially do a bit of damage.

"Harriette!" Emelia shrieked. Harriette landed on her feet. Less damaged and unfrightened. She stumbled of course, it was far enough to stagger anyone. One of the toddlers bit Markayus, another shrieked and tackled him, grappling him like a baby koala. If it weren't for the railing they might all have tumbled over. Guess it was doing some of it's job.

Sun decided he would not be punishing the two for that. Markayus however would be getting into so much trouble when he got his hands on him. Sun was half tempted to actually spank the child. He wasn't one for corporal punishment, but if Harriette had landed wrong she could have been seriously hurt, and if she'd landed on one of the toddlers. Harriette was already dusting herself off, assuring the toddler she'd landed way too close to that she was fine. Sun's scan showed that she hadn't been harmed in her fall at all. She was more concerned with the toddlers currently biting Markayus.

"Tenny, Ever don't!" Harriette said, flinching when Markayus tried to kick the biting toddler. Emelia punched him. Sun had never seen Emelia get angry, less much throw an actual punch.

"Ow, you stupid-" Sun was finally up the side and yanking Markayus away from two of other children. Once he'd caught the boy, the other one Everard (Age: 4. Allergies: No known) let go dropping safely to the play structure and then shooting off down to check on Harriette.

"That's it!" Sun said. "You're staying in time out all day, if your parents don't pick you up." Sun said. "That behavior is completely unacceptable in the daycare. I don't care what's considered acceptable at home, but here it's not."

"I'm fine," Harriette said, she was brushing off Alecio and Alecia's concern, the two had rushed in to check on her. "Is Tenny okay?" she asked. Tenny (Name: Tennyson. Age: 2. Allergies: Milk, and eggs. Up to date on shots) Sun ran a quick scan. They were fine, a little scuffed, but Nova had banned shoes in the toddler area so the kick hadn't been as damaging as if it could have been. Emelia was helping the little one onto their feet, and holding them back from laying their tiny but sharp little teeth into Markayus again.

Moon, Sun asked.

Already checking the photoage, Sun, Moon said. Harriette was helping Tenny climb around one of the obstacles, when Markayus showed up. That's it. That's all we missed. Sun sighed, turning back to the problem child.

"I'm contacting security and they can deal with you," Sun said.

"What? You said-"

"I was wrong," Sun said. "I needed to run through the appropriate procedure. This isn't something that's ever actually happened." Sun made sure to run another scan on Harriette. Several kids were around Harriette, from older toddlers to the oldests kids in the daycare.

"What the hell is your problem?" Alecio was shouting.

"Language," Sun said. "Though I do agree with the sentiment."

"Fuck you," Markayus shrieked. "It's her fault!" Sun was still trying to get them down and despite Markayus being a little brat he'd been being careful not to actually hurt the kid. The boy wiggled and managed to free himself from Sun's hold. Landing with a hard thump he charged at Harriette, tackling her to the ground. Just as Ever shot out of the play structure and tackled him, and one of the twins Sun didn't have time to note which, hopped the toddler fence. The two, and Alecio all collided with Markayus, several older kids were coming over the fence, toddlers were starting to shriek or copy the older kids. Another riot broke out as Sun tried to get control.

Markayus's father brought him the fuck back! He filed a fucking complaint with management! Sun had already sent all the information to them, proof that he'd been in the wrong. Still they took his side. The man even blamed Harriette for the whole incident, and Sun for showing discrimanation to his son. Discrimination how? They weren't a minority group in any way. Except if you counted being well off as a minority group.

They are in the minority, Moon joked. Sun sent him a glare emoji not in the mood. He gave the boy three moondrops, the boy had munched through two. That's not exactly safe. Even if they are less then child dose. They were made to get toddlers to take a quick nap, not to keep an almost teen asleep for several hours. Sun was going to give the kid so many Sundrops too. Hopefully his parents would learn a fucking lesson. Sun. Moon grumbled.

No, Sun said. It's fine, there safe for just that kind of thing. Sun was starting to get the rest of the kids ready for a nap. Harriette was fine enough to be helping with the naptime procedures. Mayla and Emelia kept giving Sun worried glances. Sun kept giving her scans but she was fine, physically and emotionally. She was perfectly happy, content. She hadn't even been that upset when Markayus had been brought back. She smiled and gave Sun a little wave.

It's not normal to brush something like that off, Sun thought.

Well, she wasn't hurt, and she'd been through worse, Moon said. Not necessarily comforting, but it does make sense. Sun sighed, knowing his partner was right. Harriette tucked in Tenny and Ever, ruffling both boys' hair. Ever was only a little younger than Harriette so it wasn't too surprising that Ever went a little red in the face.

"Stop, I'm bigger'un you," He let out a yawn at the end. Harriette nodded.

"Of course," She said, moving on to the next toddler in the line up. Apparently taking to heart what the boy commented and sticking to the younger of the toddlers.

"Are you sure you're okay?" Emelia asked, helping another toddler into a nest she and Mayla had made. Harriette nodded, signing that she was indeed fine. When everyone else was settled and she was tucked in between Emelia and Mayla, with Ginny curled up above her head.

"It wasn't that scary," Harriette explained. "I've fallen from way higher and didn't get hurt before."

"Still, a bigger kid picked you up and threw you," Mayla said. "As long as we're stuck with him here, we're not leaving you alone with him."

Sun also had ten older kids to convince to nap after the stressful afternoon that just weren't having it.

"I'm not a baby, I don't want to nap!" the older kids complained.

"Fine, can you at least play quietly-" And one of the kids just threw a thing of paint in his face. He honestly had to admit he was impressed. After chasing them all down and giving them all a Moondrop to get them all to take a small nap. He got back to the younger kids to let Moon read to them.

Markayus was a little easier to deal with after naptime. And seeing as he wasn't going to convince Sun to let him out of time out no matter what unless he apologized and promised to leave Harriette alone he agreed to do what Sun had been asking him to do almost all day.

"Fine, I'm sorry," Markayus said, arm folded. He muttered to himself about it. "That you suck. I don't want to be here anyway." After grumbling. "I'll leave the baby alone."

"Alright," Harriette agreed. "Have fun." Then she was off playing the Mayla, Emelia, the Weasleys and Markayus's siblings. Who'd been invited to join the group after Harriette and Emelia had started drawing the characters from a cartoon they'd all managed to get to watch.

Sun regretted letting Markayus out of time out, and was probably very close to losing his mind. First Markayus only barely followed the leaving Harriette alone rule. Sun was impressed the kid had found a loophole in Sun's ability to read lies. He'd started throwing paper at her from across a couple tables, never hard enough to hurt and Harriette had just started keeping them in her pocket to draw with later. When this failed to get her to react the way he'd wanted her too, he'd stupidly admitted he was trying to bait her into starting a fight with him, he'd started using a straw to make spitballs to launch at her. Sun put him in time out, and made him write an essay on how unsanitary and gross spit balls were. He'd stayed away from that again.

So he'd changed targets, hoping to get some sort of bad behavior out of Alecio. Alecio rose to the bait. Sun was once again forced to hold the two boys apart. Alecio was beyond livid with his brother. Trying to scratch at him and pull his hair. Though if Sun had to put up with Markayus for ten plus years he'd probably be driven to unspeakable rage too.

"Let me down, you stupid bot," Markayus shrieked. Alecia was trying to keep the two boys from hitting each other.

"Alecia please stay back, I understand that at home your parents have decided it's your job to- to deal with this, but here it is now, and I'd really rather you not get hurt."

"Yeah, stupid bitch stay out of this," Markayus taunted. Alecio shrieked with unbridled rages. Markayus spit out at him, then his sister, then he grabbed her hair, and pulled her into Sun's side. Hard. Sun made a strangled noise. Markayus yanked Alecia's hair even harder trying to hit her against Sun's side, but Sun had let go of Alecio, who'd stopped moving.

"Stop interfering, stupid," he yanked, and several strands pulled free of the girl's scalp. Sun made a pained, sympathetic noise. Sun wished once again they had another pair of arms, separate bodies would be better but extra arms would be fine too. Markayus was still holding Alecia's hair, but she took hold of her brother's hand, and pulled it free of her hair; it took several more strands as she stepped away from them. Face covered in hair.

She folded her arms and glared at the two, they froze fully. Alecio stepped back and away covering his ears. She put her fingers up, three of them, then dropped one of them.

"Don't. You. Dare!" Markayus growled. She started taking a deep breath, dropping another finger.

"Look what you did," Alecio continued, covering his ears. Markayus was doing the same.

Oh stars above she's not going to…? Moon asked.

It seems so, Sun groaned. He hated when kids screamed like this. Especially when they had a good set of screeching pipes on them. Which if they were to judge by the two brothers' reaction that was in fact the case. She was still inhaling.

Oh, no, Moon groaned, Sun did too. It was clear she also had pretty strong lungs.

"WE'RE SORRY!" Markayus said. "Please stop."

"No you're not," Alecio shot back.

"Really?!" Markayus growled. Alecio stuck out his tongue. Alecia started screaming.

It took twenty-two and a half minutes to get the kids settled after Alecia's aral assault. She'd screamed for just as many seconds. Sun was actually impressed, or he would be if his auditory sensors weren't on the fritz from it. She'd shrieked up until her parents arrived and judging from how she was talking afterwards she could have gone on way longer.

"This again, serious," the father growled. "What do you have against my son?"

"Are you not going to ask what caused your daughter to scream?" Sun asked. The man looked at him like he was actually insane.

"No, she's always screaming, she just wants attention," he said. "Are you okay, Markayus?" The boy didn't even bother fake crying.

"That stupid bot isn't punishing Alecio and Alecia as much as he is me, and he still won't punish that dumb baby!" He whined. Sun would roll his eyes if he physically could.

"What is your problem with Markayus. Why are you singling him out and not punishing his siblings?"

"Because neither of them did anything to deserve punishment," Sun said, he could already feel his voice box getting staticy with annoyance.

"So! They should still be-"

"Punished for existing, or are you saying that if Markayus is in trouble his siblings should be too? I don't understand how that makes any sense, but that's not how the daycare works. He was the one who did bad things, and so he's the one who gets punished."

"Oh, I'm just sure," the man said. "That girl was wondering around outside the area she was supposed to but it's my son's fault for wanting to correct-"

"You son! IS! A child!" Sun explained. "I am the adult, I am the one who should be doing any correcting. As for the girl, she's not a baby, she's just really small. She was not at the time, nor has she ever broken a single rule of the daycare! Alecio, only broke rules to protect other kids from Markayus, which because fighting is against daycare rules he was punished for. He also stopped breaking rules when he realized I would do something about Markayus' breaking rules. Hence why he's not in as much trouble right now. And If Alecia screams for attention, maybe (**you should consider giving her some before she starts screaming**) maybe there's a problem with the way you give out attention at your house because she hasn't screamed until just now, and I can almost guarantee she won't feel the need to scream again for the rest of the day." She gave a thumbs up at that. "Because if she feels that she needs to scream in order to get your attention then- then that is its own issue that should be addressed."

"Are you telling me how to raise my children?" The man started.

"No, far be it from me to assume that I could ever, I'm just explaining my perspective and why it seems I'm 'singling' Markayus out.'' The static in Sun's voice was loud enough that it made his voice sound completely electronic and inhuman. Even when he was putting emphasis on words, and when he made air quotes.

"Oh, I'm sure Alecio was well behaved," the father said. "He's always doing this, picking fights with Markayus and-"
"I am literally the daycare sir," Sun's volume control frits out for a second, but he didn't have time to actually get control. "I see everything, hear everything, and know everything that happens within my domain! I know for a fact that Alecio did not somehow convince Markayus to pick a fight with him to get him in trouble and if this is a common issue- no never mind, you don't want to hear what I have to say on the matter. So let me make my position clear. I will not allow Markayus to harm others in my daycare! I will not allow him to bully others, or pick fights with his siblings, or break any of the daycare rules, and I have no intention of punishing others for his rule breaking. So, unless Markayus likes being in time-out, or you want him to spend his day that way then don't bring him back!" Sun said. "Good-day!" Sun said.

Bloody hell what is it about today and bringing out the arswholes.

Dunno, Moon shrugged. There was some more slamming on the door. Sun sighed. He wanted to ignore them but he knew that would just bring management on them, so he opened the door.

"It's unfair to allow-" Sun held up his hand.

"Bullying is against the daycare rules." Sun pointed to the sign, and handed the father a pamphlet. His voice was filled with static, a clear sign that he was reaching his limit of patience. "Markayus is a bully, and bullying is against the rules. The only reason he was let back in is because you bribed management. If I had my way, I'd ban him for life. Alecio and Alecia may stay, but I suggest that if you don't want your son to spend the rest of the day in time-out, you take him somewhere else. Because here, he will follow the daycare rules." Sun once again pointed to the sign.

"You'll let Alecio stay but not Markayus," the father growled.

"Uh-huh! I fail to see how that wasn't already made clear!" Sun said. His voice was getting increasingly staticy from his annoyance. The man glared at him, then looked between his three children and wife who seemed to be somewhere else completely, at least Sun hoped she was. The alternative was frankly too gross to deal with.

"Fine, I don't want my son stuck somewhere he's treated so unfairly," the man said. "You can keep the other two the rest of the day. C'mon Markayus let's get you an ice cream cone." Markayus grinned, sticking his tongue out at Sun and his siblings. Sun just waved. If he wanted to raise a child who didn't know how to behave himself, then he could deal with the consequences. He was honestly surprised the situation worked out so well. He was exhausted, there were a few new dents in his body, but Markayus was gone. Out of his daycare, out of his siblings' hair, and away from Harriette.

He was going to have to put the other two in time out. Otherwise it really would be unfair, but the rest of the day was starting to feel a lot more manageable.

"Alright, I'm going to have to put you two in time out for a little bit," Sun explained. "After I make sure you head is okay, that was a pretty nasty hit."

"Oh, I'm fine," Alecia said, smiling pleased with herself. Sun ran a quick scan, sure enough there were no signs that she had a concussion. Though he couldn't exactly run an x-ray on her in the daycare. Sun nodded. "I don't mind getting into trouble. Thanks for standing up for us."

"Oh," Sun said, slowly. "You're welcome."

Alecia and Alecio were 'put' into time out, well more accurately the took themselves to time out willingly. Sun didn't want to get the other kids anymore riled up. Besides it was more to set a president, if he let them get away with rule breaking it really wouldn't be fair. Alecia seemed perfectly satisfied with the results though, and honestly Sun couldn't entirely blame her. Alecio was still gobsmacked that he wasn't getting kicked out or in trouble for something Markayus did. He seemed perfectly okay with getting in trouble for things he did.

"It's never fair," he said, while Sun was putting him in time out. "If it's me or Alecia who get in trouble he can go do whatever he wants but if he gets in trouble we always have to take the blame. Because he's 'special' or something. There's nothing even wrong with him."

"I agree, that isn't fair," Sun said. "I almost am a little sorry that I have to punish you, but-"

"I knew it was against the rules," Alecio said. "I knew I was breaking them anyway, but- well…" He trailed, chewing on the inside of his cheek. What was it with trauma that made that spot particularly tasty, Sun would never know.

"You're used to your and Alecia being the only ones to give him any kind of consequences for his actions." Alecio nodded.

"Al! Cia! When you guys get out of jail you want to play house with us?" Harriette asked. The two nodded, eager to join.

The rest of the day was a little easier, Sun was able to allow the older kids to play now that all the problem children were out of the daycare. They played a few more games together, which allowed some of the younger kids to participate, now that the dangerous elements had been removed. Alecio and Alecia spent the rest of the day playing with the few regulars that were in that day and Harriette.

They played some games, ate snacks, had an extra nap time since they were in so long and had so many babies. Moon insisted, and Sun relented. He started a clean up game as closing and check out time rolled around. Because Sun and Moon had given rewards throughout the day to Percy, Mayla, Emelia and Harriette for being helpful, most of the kids at least somewhat participated. Harriette still managed to get the grand prizes of cleaningdom though. Despite being one of the youngest and smallest participants. Harriette was pretty uncomfortable with it, but excepted reluctantly.

There were a few problems but they were less difficult. Parents finally started coming to pick up the kids from the daycare. Soon it was just the regulars, and Alecio and Alecia. The three were seated at the table talking about cartoons Sun offering up bits as the three talk. Sun still remembered that morning when Mayla mentioned her absent father, he was still worried about his newest regular.

"It sucks that you can't watch it too," Mayla said. "Freddy and Friends is, like, so fun."

"It is," Emelia said. "Do you guys watch it?"

"Not really, we used to but Markayus started complaining about it being for babies," Alecio grumbled. "Foxy was my favorite. I liked his-" His smile drooped a little.
"Cio, liked his pink form," Alecia said.

"Oh, he's pink?" Harriette said. "I expected him to be like red or brown, 'cause he's a fox."

"His normal form is red," Alecio said, his face was starting to turn red.

"Oh, they have color variants?" Harriette asked.

"Uh-huh, all of them have different colored versions," Emelia said. "Don't know why."

"Materials," Mayla said. "The original were made in the 1900s in like the seventies. My dad lost his mind when he heard it was a thing here. He asked me to pass the phone to Granny Nova. They talked for a really long time. Anyway, it was made in the seventies of 1900's and that means that colors were harder to copy from bot to bot so they just had 'different' versions. Eventually they decided that they liked the gimmick or something."

"Probably to sell more toys," Sun said. Mayla chuckled.

"Anyways, it's not fair that you guys don't get o watch it," Mayla said.

"Well, our families never been big on tv so non of use have one," Fred said.

"Yeah, well, it's still unfair," Mayla said. "Oh, are there any cartoons here? I didn't seen anything for it. Maybe we could show them now." Sun shook his head.

"Well, you guys did such a good job of describing the show, I could probably draw it so seeing it myself isn't necessary."

"You think so?" Alecio asked.

"What if we made our own episode?" alecia said. "There are loads of fan made stuff all over the place on line. We don't have to share it with anyone. We could all work on a part of it, and then divide the frames up to each other. It could be so much fun!"

"I don't know, making a cartoon is kind of hard," Sun said.

"Wait we can make an actuall cartoon?" Harriette asked.

"Okay, maybe not a full episode then, maybe just a fan animation, we could still each keep a little part of it, work on little pieces." She said. "We could meet up someday and put it all back together. Today was the best day of my life! I want to keep a little piece of it with me!" Harriette nodded agreeing.

"Most of us will always be here, though," Fred noted.

"They can keep the beginning and ends, that way it'll never be complete without them."

"Alright, if you kiddos are insisting then you should decide what you want to have happen, and who's doing it before you start. Then you have to start with making like, well they're called storyboards, it basically shows what will happen." Emelia explained. Sun had looked up the process before for her.

"Okay, I'm getting the pencils," Mayla said. "Those'll be more precise."

"We'll actually need to ink them after words," Emelia said. "I'll get the paper we'll need."

"What about me?" Harriette said.

"Percy and Alecio and Alecia are the oldest so they'll have better understanding of storytelling, so they should write the basics of the script!"

"I-I- What should I do to help?"

"Ginny help me carry the pens," Mayla said. Ginny gave an affirmative nod.

"I-" Harriette was starting to get stressed. Sun didn't have to interfere to stop the girl from spiraling.

"You should stay with us," Percy said.

"Yeah, if you're the one doing the drawing then you have to be able to draw what we write," Alecia said. Harriette seemed surprised before nodding. The kids laid out their work station and supplies. Emelia explaining how to make storyboards, she was the one who did that part. She frowned at it.

"It's really simple," She complained.

"We should stick to something simple since it's our first time," Percy said. Harriette thought it wasn't very simple at all. Freddy and Bonnie setting off fireworks may not sound complicated at first but that was a lot of small moving parts to get wrong.

"Okay, since it's dark you'll do the first part of the coloring," She pointed to Ginny who nodded solemnly. "I'll do backgrounds, and Harriette will do the characters. Then Alecia will do the next step of coloring."

"We'll add a little extra flare to the fireworks, with the glitter pens," Fred and George said together.

"I'll add little extra details with these pens, that don't involve the fireworks," Ron said.

"And I'll put it all together." Percy said.

"I can just photocopy the flipbook," Sun noted. The kids nodded.

"We'll decide whether to copy or just split it up depending on how much pages there are."

"Okay," Sun said.

Alecia had spent most of the morning recovering from injuries Markayus inflicted. Sun learned she was often stuck filling in activity and coloring books. The kids worked while Sun finished the last of his clean up duty. The Kids talking about their fan animation, teasing each other, talking, and laughing.

(Note: Freddy and Friends is not like the one in our world. Instead it's more like My Little Pony; Friendship is magic. Without the incels. Instead it's murder fanboys! Fun!)

The kids put away their pens, markers and cleaned up their pages of work. Sun watched through the cameras.

"Mr. Sun!" Harriette shouted running over to him. "Come see!" She tugged his pant leg. Affection filled Sun's wires at her excitement. He scooped her up, and she beamed at him. Emelia was waving by the table.

"Sunny! Sunny! Come look!" Emelia called. Mayla wiggled like an excited puppy. Fred and George looked pleased with themselves, so did Ginny and the two Alecs.

"Okay, okay," Sun said. Getting to the table and settling down. He set Harriette down and patted his lap. "C'mon, there's plenty of room for everyone." The kids gathered.

Sun held up the flip booklet they'd made. He wasn't sure how it would look, the front cover was just a dark background with stars, and a green flat area on the bottom. Sun noticed there were little blades of grass. That was pretty impressive. Sun started flipping, The animation showed a fairly decent but cartoony recreation of Freddy and Bonnie mostly in shadow. They walked from one side to the middle, set down most of their bundle, grabbed one firework, set it up, then lit it. The firework then made it's way up, up, up into the sky. When it burst they'd used glitter pens to make the show more spectacular. The sparkles flying outward toward the edges, more fireworks went off. Then it slowly went down and out showing Freddy and Bonnie sitting on the grass together watching the fire words go off, Sun noted that it even looked like wind was blowing in the grass. Sun was pretty impressed. It wasn't perfect, they were just children, and this was their first time. Sun noted there were a few mistakes in the way the grass moved, the way the fireworks went off, how things flew, and other movements, but it was honestly impressive for a bunch of kids who'd decided to do this on a whim, even if Sun knew Emelia and Harriette were artistic powerhouses.

"This is wonderful," Sun said. "It's- it's wow- the motions are a bit choppy for a first time, but the coloring covers a lot of that. It's not perfect but if you kids wanted to and kept practicing you could do a lot with this. It's impressive." He said. "Can I make a copy to keep?"

"You want it?" Harriette and the Alec's said together. Sun nodded. The other kids weren't as floundered by compliments.

"Yeah, you can have it," Mayla said. "I almost feel bad that Granny Nova and Bram-paw can't have a full copy, but that would be cheating, unless we all decide to keep a copy."

"I don't know," Alecia said. "I- I want us to keep a piece each, that way we all have a reason to meet up again."

"When will we meet, and where?" Alecio pointed out. "Now that I think about it…"

"Here," Alecia said. "Right here. In… ten and three years, that's thirteen but it's. Can you…"

"In thirteen years?" Harriette said.

"We'll all be over the age of eighteen then, right, you two are five so that'll make us all adults," Alecia said. "Nobody can stop us once that happens. We'll meet up and we'll be even better than we are now!"

"We won't be able to get into the daycare if we're adults though," Mayla pointed out.

"Hmm, if you choose a maintenance day nobody would be here, and I'll make an exception," Sun winked. The kids all grinned.

"What if you guys come back before that but I can't?" Harriette asked.

"Then we'll still wait," Alecia said.

"Yeah, can't go breakin' promises, like that," Alecio said.

"What if we all meet up before that?" Ginny asked.

"Then we work together to get better," Ron said. "Maybe next time we can add sounds, I call dibs." They all chuckled.

Sun waved good-bye to the Weasleys, it was getting closer to closing and Alecia and Alecio's family hadn't come. Sun sent out a message over the intercom letting them know that the daycare would be closing for all non-sleepover guests. He didn't dislike the siblings, but they seemed to have just as much of a chaotic streak as the twins, and Mayla and Emelia were both the type to copy the energy around them. Harriette was almost as bad. The daycare would be empty soon. And Honestly Sun was exhausted

Want me to take over as soon as the daycare is closed? Moon asked. Sun nodded, letting Moon feel the motions.

Today was fucking impossible, Sun said.

No it wasn't, Moon said. Tomorrow might be. Sun almost couldn't stop himself from whining.

How bad? Sun demanded.

Ten more, not as many babies though, Moon said. Sun was both relieved and stressed at that. Babies were easier to deal with in that they weren't mobile themselve, but they required twice the attention of older kids. On the other hand, older kids were mobile, could be bratty, and any number of other problematic behaviors. Sun sighed.

"How are you doing, Sun?" Bram asked. Returning from a break, it had been so busy that neither had wanted to leave Sun.

"I'm doing better now that things are finally winding down," Sun assured. "And you?"

"That's a very convincing lie for the little ones," Bram said. Sun sighed.

"I'll be better when the daycare closes, Moon says that tomorrow will be just as bad, if not worse," Sun said. "Now answer my question."

"I'll be better when I get home," Bram said. "Hopefully the rest of the week won't be that chaotic, because Nova and I will have to call out for medical reasons."

Yeah, they have an illness that acts up more during certain times of the month, Moon said.

"Oh, well I hope you and Nova will feel better soon," Sun said. "You should make sure to take care of your health, your not getting any younger. It would be really sad if you left Mayla on her own."

"That's true," Bram said.

"Hey, um, speaking of," Sun looked around through the cameras to make sure the kids weren't in earshot. "I wanted to ask about Mayla's father. Why isn't he- well, why isn't he here or she with him. Or…" Sun gestured. "Y'know." Sun made sure to keep an eye on the kids as they climbed up one of the climbing structures. Sun was suddenly glad Markayus hadn't tried to throw Harriette off of one of those things. Sun tuned fully back into his body to see Bram staring at him with sad, understanding eyes.

"Her father is not in her life." He said. "He took my little Helena's death rather hard, and gave Mayla to us. He loves her dearly, but he was not in the state to care for himself less much a child. He was never a …" he paused. "Particularly present father. His life is…" He paused again, this time rubbing his head to relieve a growing headache. "His life was, and always will be quiet complicated and … He didn't want to put those issues onto Mayla… Ever. We'll update her file for you on ethe way home, so you can do all the digging you want on him." Bram said, he smiled in an unusual way. Turning away. "Hopefully it'll help with your own situation."

"I- I'm not sure what you- Oh! Hey, that's not necessary," Sun said. "You don't have to put something that makes you uncomfortable. I- she was talking about his remembered call, something that simple- well it doesn't- sorry, maybe I shouldn't have asked."

"You should know incase something happens to us," Bram said.

"Oh, I-I mean that does make sense," Sun said. "You put his contact information, even if not his name so I'm sure we can just contact him if an emergency happens. Besides I don't have access to files that Fazbear Entertainment hasn't set up for me to have access too."

"We checked good for background checks. I'm Sure Moon can help with that." Bram said.

"I mean, I won't be able to read the files myself, unless Fazbear Entertainment decided that it's something that I need to know and made a site specifically for that. Mostly to make them more money, they wouldn't- I don't want to-"

"I have a good feeling they will when we update it. After all if anything happened he could do a lot of damage to the company." Bram smiled at that. He quickly smiled. "I'll update her profile and you'll have access to his information before you know it." He winked then. Sun was forced to except that. What kind of person was Mayla's father?

"I'm going to draw pictures of you guys!" Harriette pouted, at the table.

"Why?" Emelia asked.

"Mayla's not going to be here the rest of the week and I'm not going to ever see her again. I want pictures to remember her by." Harriette said.

"Okay," Mayla said. After Harriette was finished drawing they last picture of them together they hugged for several minutes.

"We'll bring her back on Thursday so the two of you can at least say good-bye," Harriette nodded but clung to her even harder.

The Weasley's waved. The last three kids were getting tired.

"You two should clock out," Sun said. "You've been here way too long." Sun said. "Besides, the girls look like they might fall asleep on their feet." Sun teased, picking up Mayla. Who was sleepily waving to the Weasley's who were no longer even at that door. It was closed. She was still half wrapped around Harriette since it was the last time they'd ever get to see each other. Sun passed her off to Bram. Nova rubbed her back as she mumbled sleepily.

"Night May-bean," Sun said, ruffling her hair.

"Ni-ni, Suh, Moo," She said. Falling asleep instantly.

"Good night, Sun," Nova and Bram said.

"Night Mayla," Harriette said, peeking from behind Sun's leg. "Night, Granny Nova and Gram-paw." the two chuckled.

"Night, sweet pup. Sleep well." Harriett saluted, adorably in response.

"Alright, today was stressful, how about we wind down for the day," the two nodded, to Sun's proposal. Sun scooped both girl's into his arms. It was still early but it was going to be an early day tomorrow and just as stressful as today. So, Sun wanted to get them ready for bed and wound down, so that if nothing else, sleep would find them easier.

The daycare was officially closed, the only kids allowed to still be there were kids who's family's worked in the pizzaplex, and sleepover attendees.

Both Sun and Moon were relieved to be free of the chaos of the day. Sun walked over to the middle of the room, he'd probably caused enough trouble today so despite the strong temptation to turn off the light and let Moon take over he could only recite the story Moon started to tell him over the link. Harriette cried silently into his chest. Sun looked down to check on her but she shook her head and pointed to Emelia. Then she took the other girl's hand and stayed quiet.

It wasn't long before Harriette was the last attendee in the daycare. She and Sun settled next to each other as they waved good-by to Emelia who waved all the way down the hall. Now that Harriette was the last kid in the daycare, they'd be putting her to bed soon. Then they'd be able to look into that profile update. She was holding his hand, she looked sad. The quiet of the daycare as the door closed behind Emelia's retreating back was both a relief and a heartbreak all in one. Sun was exhausted, beyond exhausted really.

Moony, Sun whined. Sun wasn't too proud to admit it. He was done, and he still technically had work to do. There was Mayla's profile update and whatever information the company decided was important.

I've got it from here, Sunshine, Moon said. Just let Harriette know. He could have looked through the profile earlier, but Sun had wanted to wait. Bram had made it seem to important. So he'd wanted to be there when he started looking into it. Not worrying about the kids needing him for something. Still, Percy probably could have handled most things.

Most, Moopie, Sun said back. "Harriette?" the girl looked up to him. "Moon and I are going to switch, okay?"

"Yeah, you must be super tired, have a good sleep Mr. Sun," Harriette said, while waving good-bye. Sun wanted to squeal.

She's too cute! Sun insisted. He thought he was immune to cute children before meeting Harriette. She was such a sweet kid though. Even when being a brat she was still thinking about Sun and Moon getting into trouble.

Moon stretched, the hand Sun had used to turn the lights off, over his to look down at the tiny girl next to him. She hadn't let go of their hand while they switched, and while Moon stretched. She smiled up at him.

"Hallow, Mr. Moon," she said, smiling wide and eyes gentle. Sun was right, this girl was too cute.

"Up?" He asked. Her mouth dropped open and eyes widened at the question. She nodded hesitantly. Moon crouching down to open his arms for her, letting her decide how quickly she'd accept the offer. She took it with zero hesitation. She was snuggled into the ruffles on Sun and Moon's costume before Moon was even able to fully settle. He lifted her nearly as quickly, and she had the nerve to giggle. The tiny sound was muffled, but still delighted, it put bells to shame with how sweet it sounded. Moon cuddled her for a moment. There was still a little time before Harriette needed to be heading to sleep even if it was late and the day had been long. Moon settled her on his hip looking her over thoughtfully. She tilted her head at him, partially resting it on his arm, a little smile on her face.

"So, let's see, where were you and Sun on the spider booklet?" Moon watched as her smile grew bigger. Harriette explained how the spider booklet worked as Moon helped her get ready for bed. When she'd asked. He said it was wind down time and it was a lot of work and effort to get her ready. Nova had brought a few extra pieces of clothing for Harriette to choose from, and Sun had received instruction from the Network not to allow the Sleepover attendee to leave the daycare till their stay was over, which was a request from one of the guardians. Sun was pretty happy about following that order, and Moon was definitely in agreement. Harriette was tucked under his chin while he explained the spider they were talking about and where certain details should go. When Harriette yawned it was about time Moon would have wanted to start leading her toward bed anyway.

"We have a big and busy day tomorrow, Harriette," Moon said. Harriette picked out the blanket and pillow she'd use. The same ones she'd chosen last night, and for naptime. She set up her sleeping mat with her plushies and her own baby blanket from her backpack. Moon had headed over to grab another blanket and pillow from the shelves so that she'd be extra comfy. When he came back he noticed that she was hiding under the blanket, wiggling but a tiny giggle told him it wasn't because she was scared.

"Oh," Moon said. "Uh-oh, where did Harriette go?" Moon said, a little giggle telling him that this was exactly the right way to play. "Sneaky-sneaky little one, wandering off all alone. I'll have to find her quickly. Yes indeed." Another giggle and a wiggle from the blanket. "And I'd worked so hard to make the bed comfy for her." He settled. "Harriette, oh Harriette, where did you go?" He'd placed the pillow and blanket down and was about to snatch her up for a little tickling, that tended to be how the kids liked to play this game, instead Harriette popped out.

"Boo!" She said, a giggle bursting out and a knowing smile on her face. Moon was surprised, he hadn't expected her to do that. And it became even sillier when she added. "I knew you knew where I was." The knowing tone she used while wrapping the blanket around herself, the little sparkle in her eye. It was all too much, and Moon started his own fit of giggles.

"Then why," he had to pause to laugh. He may not need to breathe but his voice box could only make one sound at a time. "Then why did you try to scare me?"

"I wasn't trying to scare you," The offense in the child's voice was too precious. Moon giggled some more. "I wasn't." Harriette insisted, a little fear leaking into her voice.

"Okay, okay," Moon said, trying to control his giggles. "I know, but why did you go boo." She tilted her head, confusion written on her face.

"I saw Aunt Petunia do it with Dudley once?" She said, "Petunia and Dudley had thought it was fun." She said, shifting, she started picking at something invisible on the blanket. Eyes focused on it while she shrugged. "I thought you'd like to play." Moon's heartbroke a little at that.

"Ah, well, thank you," Moon said. "I've never gotten to play either." He said. It wasn't one hundred percent true, but it wasn't exactly a lie. It was sweet that Harriette wanted to share something she'd thought looked fun with him. Harriette looked up at him, skeptically. "No one's ever tried to do something because they thought I'd find it fun." Moon said, ruffling the girl's hair. She seemed to like that. Relaxing into the touch. She smiled.

"That's sad," She said.

"Yeah," Moon said. "But you learn to live with it." He shrugged. "Now, let's get you tucked in." Harriette nodded, smiling again. She settled in and watched as Moon tucked her in, snuggling into the extra pillow he'd grabbed for her.

"I've never had one pillow before last night," Harriette admitted. "Now I have two." She took Moon's hand and laid down. "Thank you, Mr. Moon."

"It's my pleasure," Moon assured. Brushing bits of the girl's hair from her face.

When Harriette was properly asleep Sun looked through the information on Mayla's guest profile and prepare to see what information the company deemed relevant.

There weren't a whole lot of changes, the Raywoods had already made sure to fill in almost all the fields. The only new information was the fathers name and the fact that Mayla was now marked as VIP. Sun checked to see what kind of information they had access to and… Oh, boy. There was an entire new page to the information Sun had access to. Whoever this Tony Stark guy was must be a big deal. Sun checked the page information, a robotic version of skimming through. The page contained more than a thousand characters. Hundreds of thousands really. That was a lot. It also showed when the page was added and when it was last edited. It was made as soon as Mayla's guest profile was updated and the information was confirmed. As for the when it was last edited, that was the part that was most concerning. 'Live'. Which meant that it was someone's job to update literally all the time, someone was literally supposed to add any new information that came in. Sun wouldn't be entirely surprised if the man's daily schedule was on the page. Sun opened it.

They have his schedule on here, Sun said. It wasn't a perfect schedule accounting for a twenty-four hour period, but it did have when he tended to eat his meals and when he tended to go to sleep. When he was working, and when he was… I didn't want to know what the man's sex life was. Sun complained closing the small link to a list of partners the man had over the course of his life. He didn't have any official children, no one knew Mayla was his biological child. Looking through the man's… Eclectic personal history was enough to see why he wouldn't want a to claim Mayla. If Sun was thinking optimistically he might assume that because the man lived such a dangerous life, with so many enemies and such he wouldn't want his daughter involved. Sun was not an optimistic person though. He'd seen too much of people to really trust someone he'd never met before. And he'd learned that thinking pessimistically usually resulted in pleasant surprises, rather then painful disappointment. So while he still tried not to think the worst of the man, even hoped for the better, he wasn't going to be disappointed when/if he found out the man just wanted freedom to have sex, and travel without the burden of making sure a child was cared for. Which was a bitter disappointment in its own way.

Sun and Moon would never hold hands, they'd never be allowed to have their own kids, never get to experience the outside world. It was always a cruel reminder whenever they saw adults that just didn't seem to care about all the little joys they got to experience daily. This guy, whoever he was had a pretty good life. He had; friends that were willing to do anything for him, he had a wonderful daughter who adored him despite his absence, he had in-laws who took on that responsibility for him, he could go anywhere and do anything. Sun tried to ignore the jealousy that burned through his wires. Freedom, companions he was actually able to spend time with, and his own body. He was allowed to create things too.

It's not fair, Sun grumbled. 'Eyes' focusing on the little girl sound asleep nearby. She'd be forced to leave. Sun and Moon would be forced to stay. There were lots of ways one could lose their freedom.

Moon had been doing a quick camera scan of the pizzaplex when sobs pulled him from code and cameras to his own body. Moon had gotten up and moved away from Harriette. He'd gone to his charging station, he'd cleaned the play structures. He'd wanted to be able to scan the Network without the risk of his fans waking the girl up. Instead he found her in a curled up heap, trying to clean up a wet spot on the bedding.

"Oh, Harriette, it's alright," Moon said, comfortingly. Taking the thing she'd been using to try and clean. Her own baby blanket. She sobbed. "Oh, oh, don't worry. I'll put all this in the wash 'kay?" Harriette looked up at him with the widest saddest eyes. Then burst into tears. Moon had never hated anyone as much as he hated the people responsible for making this girl so scared.

"I'm sorry," She whimpered.

"Shshsh, I'm not mad, accidents happen," Moon answered. Over and over for several minutes till Harriette was calm enough to actually get cleaned up. She was wet all over too.

Once she was calmed down enough, Moon picked her up and carefully carried her to the showers. He grabbed the supplies on the way. Once there he helped Harriette free herself from the wet and dirty clothes. Harriette just spent a few minutes curled up under the stream.

"I'm sorry," Harriette said again.

"Accidents happen," Moon said. "What'd you dream 'bout to have that happen?" Harriette's face turned red, and crinkled up clearly trying not to cry again. "You don't have to say if you're not comfortable." Harriette shook her head.

"I dreamt about my parents," Harriette said, burying her head into her knees. She let out another sob. "They were all blurry but I could tell it was them, y'know?"

"Yeah," Moon said.

"They were angry, cause I did- I did something bad," Harriette said. "I don't remember what it was, but they were yelling. And then they tried to hurt me, and -" She paused for a moment, it was clear that she decided to skip something. "But I tried to run away, but I got stuck, and the ground tried to swallow me up. Then I was trapped in a cage and people were pointing at me and laughing." She made a face at that. "But I didn't care enough so the circus manager decided to hurt me." Her face got even more scrunched up. "It was stupid!"

"It wasn't stupid," Moon said. "It sounded awful." Moon said.

"I mean Ver-Uncle Vernon did say he wanted to sell me to a circus." Harriette said. She sniffled. She leaned against Moon. "I'm sorry."

"It's not your fault and it's not a problem," Moon said. "I'm happy to take care of you for as long as you are here. Understand?" Harriette made a face that scrunched into a teary waterfall. Moon held her until she was calmed down.

Moon helped Harriette get cleaned up, dressed and combed her hair again. Harriette didn't want to be alone so he took her to the closest laundry room. The theater had a small one for the costumes, from back when people still did performances. Moon set an internal time and decided a small flight low to the ground might cheer the downcast girl up.

"Wanna go for a flight?" Moon asked.

"Won't you get in trouble?" Harriette said.

"I'll just get rid of the evidence," Moon said, booping her nose. She made her surprised face, then smiled. So, Moon picked her up and they did a small flight. She giggled, joy bubbling out of her. Moon decided that he'd break whatever rule he needed to to make this little girl happy.

Once they were back in the daycare, and set up a new mat out and settled her under the bedding. Moon curled around her like an oversized cat and she cuddled into his chest. He read one of the many fairy tales that he had on his hard drive. Harriette asked questions about certain things that she didn't get, but quickly settled into a doze, then further into sleep. Moon kept reading, rubbing her back and head to sooth her.
