(Shopping Day)

*Glen Cove, New York*

*Miller Manor*

It was a cold early morning as Anya was chatting with Charlotte on the telephone regarding her previous day with Judith.

"I see. That must have been wonderful seeing Judith's softer side. I always had a hunch that she was nice but hid it behind a facade. Still, it's best to keep your guard up because she's also manipulative as well" Charlotte spoke to Anya from the other line of the phone while Anya nodded in an understanding way.

"Don't worry. I'll be okay. We should know how Judith behaves and acts at this point but I should be home later today or tomorrow since Judith wants me to stay another night or two" Anya responded with a smile on her face while waiting to hear what her friend was to say next.

"I see, well, I hope you have a wonderful time and if you need anything then don't be afraid to contact me, okay? But have a wonderful time, my good friend" Charlotte responded to Anya from the other line of the phone in a warm voice while Anya smiled at what she heard.

"Same for you, Charlotte. Have a wonderful day as well" Anya responded to Charlotte's final statement while she hung up the phone before looking over to see Judith tapping her foot rather impatiently.

"Are you finally done talking to your little friend? If so, let's go, Neville and the others are waiting in the limo so let's not keep them waiting for too long" Judith advised Anya while walking towards the front door with Anya by her side.

"I'm finished and I was just checking up on Charlotte since I promised her I was gonna talk to her one of these days" Anya spoke out while seeing Judith opening the front door to reveal a limo waiting for them.

"Whatever, get in the limo, we're going shopping. I need to pick out a dress for you and I refuse to allow you to look like someone poor" Judith spat out in her usual vain tone of voice while she got inside the limo much to Anya's dismay.

"Okay, I'm only doing this to make you happy but you don't need to insult me like that.." Anya spoke to Judith once more while she entered the limo and sat between Megan and Lisa while Judith and Neville sat by the windows.

"Alright, you can start driving now! We haven't got all day.." Judith ordered the limo driver in a commanding voice while looking out the window.

The Limo driver began to drive away from the manor and was on route to everyone's destination.

"Anya, you should feel honored that Judith is going out of her way to pick out an outfit for you to wear at the Winter Ball. It goes to show that our cousin Emily isn't the one to take lightly" Neville spoke to Anya in a cocky tone while Megan and Lisa smiled in agreement.

"He's right. You gotta impress Judith's family so consider this somewhat of a little test to see if you can even be a part of our friend group.." Megan spoke to Anya as well and this made Judith quickly turn over with an annoyed look on her face as she began to speak.

"Please, I will NEVER become Anya's friend or anything. Don't forget! I'm only doing this for Calvin and nobody else so whatever weak moments I had with her do not mean anything in the end" Judith responded rather defensively before looking back at the window as Megan and Lisa nodded in an understanding way.

"Oh, that's too bad for you, Anya but at least she's getting you a beautiful dress so don't beat yourself too bad over it" Lisa spoke to Anya before chuckling to herself much to Anya's annoyance as she sighed to herself.

"I won't. I'm used to Judith's attitude at this point so it's not gonna mess up my day or anything.." Anya responded to Lisa's words while looking down on the limo floor before sighing at herself once more as she knew this was gonna be a long day.

*11:10 am*

*Gerald's Department Store*

The limo arrived at the destination which was met with Judith smiling at the view as she got out of the limo along with Anya, Neville, and her two friends.

"Anya, I'm going to buy you the second most expensive dress they got in this place. I need you to look presentable for my grandmother and Emily" Judith spoke to Anya while adding a hint of disgust when saying her cousin's name.

"T-Thank you. I appreciate that and no matter our differences, I'll ensure that the Winter Ball works in your favor. I know how much the event means to you" Anya responded with a smile while Judith shrugged her off in her usual smug manner.

"Yeah yeah. Just don't push your luck because of what happened yesterday. You'll shop with me while Neville shops with Megan and Lisa, okay?" Judith advised Anya in a stern voice while Anya nodded in an understanding way.

"Don't worry, I won't. I understand you still hate me" Anya responded with a smile as she began to walk with Judith while Neville walked with Megan and Lisa.

"We'll meet at the dining area in thirty minutes for lunch so be sure to arrive a few minutes early" Nevile advised the girls before resuming his walk with the two girls thus leaving Anya and Judith alone.

"Alright. Follow me! We have much to do before lunch and I want to make sure things go right" Judith commanded Anya while motioning her hand toward the girl's section of the store which was followed by Anya following her.

The two girls walked across the department store until they made it to the girl's section and there, Judith picked out the dress that she wanted Anya to wear.

"This is the dress that I want you to wear. I was originally gonna wear this but I decided I want you to wear it…" Judith spoke to Anya while looking at her side with a flustered blushing look on her face.

"W-Wow, It's beautiful. It's truly quite marvelous to look at.." Anya uttered in awestruck while continuing to observe the raspberry crushed velvet dress which had a hint of beauty to it.

"Indeed, a-and, I-I also want you to try it on…ONLY because I want to see if it fits you or not! You just never know if you've gained weight or something and I certainly don't wanna take the risk.." Judith ordered Anya while this comment seemed to take Anya by offense and she began to retaliate.

"Well excuse me, princess! You didn't have to make it so obvious but I'll still try on the dress and if it doesn't fit me then we can find something else" Anya spoke to Judith in response to what she heard in a rather offended tone while walking over to the dressing room with Judith.

"Oh, you WILL fit that dress. I paid good money for that dress so you better not disappoint me like you always seem to do" Judith responded to Anya while handing her the dress so she could try it out. Anya walked over to the dressing room to try out the dress while leaving Judith alone.

"I'm doing this for Calvin…I'm doing this for Calvin…" Judith chanted to herself while waiting for Anya to come out from the dressing room which gave her a sense of dread as she eagerly awaited Anya's entrance and more importantly in her book, she hoped the dress fit.

"I'm done!.." Anya called out from the other side of the dressing room which lit up Judith's face as she let out her usual smile.

"Finally! Come out and show me what you got" Judith commanded Anya while waiting eagering for Anya to come out and after a few seconds, Anya had finally come out of the dressing room.

"W-Wow.." Judith uttered in disbelief as she saw Anya in the stunning dress which impressed her greatly due to her finding Anya to be attractive; however, she quickly reverted back to her usual self.

"Look at you! It actually fits. Thank god for that but anyways, you can take it off now. I'll pay for it once we're done and consider that as a little thanks for helping me" Judith spoke to Anya with a confident voice while Anya nodded.

"Sure and I'm glad you liked me in the dress but what are you gonna buy now? I feel.." Anya spoke to Judith; however, her final words were cut off by Judith who gave her smug smile.

"Oh please! Don't feel bad! If I wanted to, I could buy like fifty of those dresses but I'm a proper lady so I mustn't be so rude to all the other ladies with hopes and dreams but hurry up and change back to your regular clothes. I'm starving." Judith responded to Anya's words while seeing her go back to the dressing room and after a few seconds, Anya came back with the dress in hand.

"I'm ready and once again, thank you for the dress. I'll take good care of it once we're done" Anya spoke to Judith once more while it was shrugged off by her.

"Yeah yeah, let's just pay for this so I can eat and don't worry about money or anything. I'm treating you but! This isn't out of kindness or anything! Consider it like a master giving their dog a treat for good behavior" Judith responded to Anya while it was clear that this wasn't the case for Anya but she let it slide while she smiled back.

"I know, I know. I'm just your little pet who's been a good girl and nothing of the sort" Anya spoke to Judith in a playful manner while this was met with Judith blushing madly before turning over quickly.

"Y-yeah! Something like that! It's just I'm kinda tolerating you But L-let's go pay for the dress so we could eat.." Judith spoke to Anya once more before quickly walking to the cashier while Anya smiled to herself.

"It's strange, I'm also tolerating Judith as well, perhaps this is what Calvin wanted, right?" Anya thought to herself before running over to catch up to Judith so they could pay for the dress and get something to eat.
