Author Note
Hello there and welcome to another chapter of Avalon Bond.
I was thrilled to see that my readers are enjoying thus far. However, since there were no questions in the reviews, let us begin.
Avalon Bond
Part II – Fate Grand Order
Chapter 14 – Singularity Fuyuki Part II
Cu Chullain looked at Shirou and Arturia while memories from the last grail war surged in his head.
In fact, the last memory he had of them was the time when he rescued the other lady from his own master's hands. A lady that he believed that Shirou over there was rather smithed by.
"Lancer, is good to see you again…" Shirou approached the blue-haired man and extended his hand in a greeting.
"Same here…though it was surprising to see you here as a servant…also together with the…" As Cu looked over at the blonde gorgeous by Shirou's side. The image he had of the servant that he faced both at the Fifth Grail War as well as the one that he had faced just now in this war were the same servant, however the one before Shirou was different. The sword checked out, but both the longer hair, more advantageous curves and even the armor and clothing to complement her body…however the eyes that were staring back at him promising bloody murder if he kept on leering on her was the same.
"Saber…"
"Yes, Lancer…now I would appreciate that you stop looking at me or else you will perish right here."
Cu Chullain saw Arturia reach for her sword and he knew better than to push her buttons.
Shirou looked at the scene in humor, remembering how Cu used to hit on Rin as well. Though, the slight twitch in his eyebrow followed by the unconscous reach to his sword indicated that he was not comfortable with the idea of someone looking at his fiancée like that.
"So, would you two bother to tell me about what happened after I was dead at the last war and how you two are here as servants."
So, Shirou gave him a summary of the final steps of the war. How Shirou managed to defeat the Red Archer servant much to Cu's personal delight and then they dealt with Gilgamesh, before Arturia destroyed the Lesser Grail. Then he explained that Arturia - the servant Saber - decided to stay with him and Rin after the war and even went to explain up to his marriage proposal, earning a surprised response from Cu Chullain and a faint blush from Arturia. As to how they were servants in this war, Shirou gave him the same explanation that he had provided Olga and the others. Mash then appeared and bowed in respect to Cu Chullain for his help in facing Lancer.
Like the sleazeball that he was, Cu Chullain approached the clueless lilac girl and hugged her, much to Shirou and Arturia's dismay.
"Good work there, missy…what saved us was your shield." Cu even brought her face closer to his as he rubbed her shoulders. Arturia and Olga looked from afar, appalled by his perverted actions.
Shirou just scratched his head at the scene as the servant moved from one woman to the other when Ritsuka appeared behind Cu and Mash, splitting them up.
"Hey hey hey..." Mash looked at her senpai, wondering what was happening, but Ritsuka stood in front of her protectively while Cu just laughed at yet another boy protecting the girl.
"You do have a good body..."
Eventually, the group left the premises and found the bottom of the Fuyuki bridge as Cu explained the situation thus far.
Romani was also there using his communication device.
"It started out normal for a Grail War that is. However, at some point, it changed. Out of a sudden, the city was covered by fire. All humans were gone and only servants remained." Arturia already knew what Shirou was going to ask before he opened his mouth.
"Was any of the masters from our war in this one as well?" Cu looked at Shirou.
"Some of them, not all…you for instance was not a part of this war. I do remember a girl with long purple hair…Sakura I think was the name. She was Lancer's master and the homunculus Einzbern was as well, Berserker's master." Shirou looked down at that, he was surprised that Rin was not one of the masters as she was the daughter of the Tohsaka family. It took him a while to understand that this was not his dimension and that Sakura was happy and living with Rin in London.
"Go on, Caster…" Olga was rather impatient to have this singulairty resolved as fast as possible.
"Well, after it happened, it was Saber the first servant who restarted the war. She started breaking and killing everything in her sight." Shirou looked surprised at that and turned to his fiancée who looked down as well. To imagine that she, even if it was another version of her, did all this destruction was maddening. "She defeated Archer, Lancer, Rider, Berserker and Assassin. However, the downed servants then were corrupted by a dark shadow…like you all saw backt there. Since we dealt with the others, only Archer and Berserker remain, though I think we can leave Berserker alone…he won't attack us anytime soon. For us to close this war, Saber is the ultimate enemy." Shirou approached Arturia and placed a comforting hand on her shoulder, knowing that they would have to face her. Though, Shirou did not know if he had it in him to face her. Cu knew this much and smiled.
"Do you know where she is, then?" Cu nodded.
"She is at the heart of this city, where the leylines are stronger. She is protecting it…the corrupted Grail."
"What about Archer…is he the same?" Cu then turned to Shirou once more, this time the kid was looking serious.
"Yes, the very same from our previous war. Though, he is mine to deal with…I need to settle score with that bastard for good."
Cu could not know that Archer was a possible future of Shirou Emiya. Arturia looked at Shirou, worried. The last time they faced each other Shirou almost got himself killed, if it were not for Avalon inside him. Shirou, for his turn, remembered the Counter Guardian version of himself. Right now, he had two enemies he was not looking forward to facing.
===Homurahara School===
Eventually, the group walked towards the destroyed streets and houses. Caster was busy running reconnaissance for them up ahead so that he would stop Archer's arrows.
They then reached towards Shirou's old school grounds and like the entire city, was destroyed. Olga had complained that they needed rest for a while, so they got inside the school. Shirou and Arturia walked throughout the halls and classrooms while Ritsuka and Mash stood at the hallway close to the stairs. Mash was absent-minded as she looked at the window towards the sky. She would do this every time she was at Chaldea, hoping to one day be able to see the deep blue sky. Ritsuka then approached her as Mash was eyeing the shield. Olga was taking a seat by the stairs next to them,
"What's the problem, Mash?"
"Senpai, I'm still unable to use the shield properly."
Ritsuka looked startled at that, wondering about the level of fights done so far.
"But what about the fights beforehand…you were amazing, Mash." Mash looked down, just as Shirou and Arturia arrived next to them followed by Caster appearing.
"This shield has yet to show its true form…" Ritsuka looked troubled at that, as Olga got up from her seating place.
"Well, Mash, if you had a more talented master, then he could better see the servant who made the contract with you. It's his lack of talent that is responsible, not yours." Ritsuka looked troubled by that and then had apologetic eyes for his servant. Mash, however, considered that she was rather lucky to have Ritsuka as her master. He looked sincere in his actions and behaved like a human being, whereas the other magus that she had meat before…well, none of them really behaved any different.
"The most important as far as noble phantasm is instinct…so if you are able to evocate such instinct, it will come up naturally."
Cu said as he approached Mash, not anymore interested in caressing her shoulder.
Arturia and Shirou stood from the back as they eyed Mash being introspective. No matter what they knew, Mash really needed to learn on her own.
Though, Arturia had faith in Sir Galahad's intuition.
===Ryuudou Temple's Outskirts===
After some rest and recuperation, the group marched once more this time towards their final destination.
They travelled until they reached the entrance of a cave.
"The greater grail is in there…" Cu Chullain was already looking around, waiting for the arrival of one who would stop them from entering. Shirou and Arturia looked around as well. The end of their war occurred close by, however they were never inside this cave. And neither remembered ever Rin talking about this being the location of the Grail. In their war, Gilgamesh used Ilyasviel and Matou Shinji to call upon the Holy Grail. Arturia reserved this knowledge to speak with Rin when they came back. If this Grail still existed in their dimension, then chances were that another Grail War could still happen.
Olga, for her part, could see the inner design of the cave as part natural and part human made. Someone a long time ago spent many years expanding this subterranean lab.
The servants then sensed mana from behind them. The only one who did not turn was Shirou as he could sense the presence even before the others.
This presence was unmistakable.
Caster Cu then walked in front of them, positioning for Archer to view him.
"Speak on the devil, here is the disciple." Up the hills from the cave entrance, Archer stood facing the group. Different from his image in Fuyuki's Fifth Grail War, he was lacking the red overcoat and his body was filled with black marking courtesy of Saber. The redcoat was tied over his waist instead. "I don't know why you're protecting Saber but let us put an end to this." Arturia and Shirou looked upward to Archer and wondered if like Cu, CG Emiya recognized them. Looking at his image, it did not seem like it. Archer then summoned his bow and a sword to be used as arrow while Caster got into position to defend them.
Mash did as well, while Shirou's eyes traced the sword-arrow that Archer was arrow travelled at a menacing velocity as Olga, Mash and Ritsuka scrambled to protect themselves. Shirou and Arturia stood still however as Caster used his runes to burn the arrow. Caster then released the Anzus bombardment forcing Archer to jump away from his location.
"Go now. Saber is in there!"
The group then ran inside the cave, earning a smile from Cu as he positioned himself in Archer's path, before Cu sent a beam of fire from his wooden staff, forcing Archer on the defensive.
===Ryuudou Temple's Cavern===
The group ran inside until they had reached a clearing. Mash was up front as the group then looked around.
The mana was all over the place as Shirou and Arturia could feel it crawling in their skin.
"Oh…" A female voice echoed in the clearing. "What an interesting servant…shield huh…you better be ready little girl. With this sword, I shall test your conviction." The amount of mana exuding from her body was tremendous. Must be powered by the Greater Grail, Shirou and Arturia realized. Though, Shirou could not help but stare at the blackened servant, more specifically, look at her eyes, her hollow yellow eyes. "It seems that two others servants are here as well, though that sword is quite familiar." Arturia focused on herself as Saber looked ready to fight.
"Mash…we shall deal with this together…" Arturia knew that Shirou would be hard pressed to be of much help as he stood there, transfixed.
"…Understood." Mash stood in front of the group with Arturia next to her.
Saber wasted no time and charged at Mash and Arturia. She slammed Excalibur Morgan on Mash's shield as Arturia stood there watching. Despite she said that they would face Saber together, Mash needed this.
Fujimura stood by Olga's side, wondering why neither Arturia nor Shirou moved to assist Mash, though Olga knew why. Going by instinct in Cu's word and conviction to protect in Arturia's words. Fujimura then averted his eyes when Mash was sent flying after failing to block Saber's strikes. He flinched at Olga's scolding of him in averting his eyes. However, he could not stop himself from thinking that he needed to do something. Olga was then surprised as Ritsuka ran as Saber channeled her blackened noble phantasm towards Mash. Arturia looked at Ritsuka and nodded at the kid finally doing what he was supposed to. Shirou nodded with a smile as well as the kid was finally listening to his gut.
Saber finalized the preparations for her ultimate noble phantasm as a giant black sword emerged from over her head.
EXCALIBUR MORGAN
Saber sent a beam of blackened energy towards Mash who positioned her shield in front of her, blocking Excalibur Morgan somewhat. The blackened energy met resistance in her shield, though Mash could feel her energy subsiding and her eyes slowly closing. Mash then was surprised when she felt a pair of hands grabbed the shield's handle together with hers. When she opened her eyes, Mash was surprised to see Ritsuka there with eyes full of resolve as he helped her get up.
"Senpai…" Mash opened a smile at the sight of her master. Ritsuka at this moment felt the connection he had with his servant as he recalled the words of wisdom from Shirou.
To be truly connected in mind and soul with your servant...
"I believe in you, Mash…"
At this moment, one of the command seals on his hand glowered and Mash could feel the power returning to her.
Arturia and Shirou smiled as they saw Mash get up and hold the shield more firmly.
"Watch me, master."
She grabbed the shield and focused mana on it. Saber Alter looked as the shield glowed in white, before a protective energy shield had grown until it transformed into a tall brick wall. Saber alter saw her energy being reflected by the shield, as full recognition was evident on her face. Arturia smirked as she saw Sir Galahad's strength beginning to pass through Mash. As a result, Excalibur Morgan was fully reflected and hit her dead on. Saber Alter appeared to be suffering but she was still standing as the energy of the Grail fixed her. Mash, on the other hand, could not sustain the unstable noble phantasm and released. Saber Alter immediately charged, but this time her opponent was another Excalibur.
"What is the meaning of this…who are you?" Arturia kept on her focused visage, though this scene was not new to her.
"You should know the answer to your question through our crossing swords."
Shirou quietly observed as his fianceé battled Saber's dark counterpart with his arms crossed.
His eyes were solely focused on the black armor and hollow yellow eyes as Saber Alter danced against Arturia and the weakened Mash. Ritsuka was proving himself to at least be by his servant's side and thus Mash was able to somewhat use Sir Galahad's noble phantasm, blocking Saber Alter's Excalibur Morgan, although in Arturia's mind, Mash was not even close to her knight's full power. It made Shirou rather anxious to see it in action once the lilac-haired girl managed it. Still, Shirou's eyes could not leave Saber Alter. The way she moved reminded him of his and Saber's training together both during and after the war. The ferocity in which Saber Alter attempted to overcome Arturia's sword…reminded him of the times when Saber protected him against their enemies in the Fifth Grail War.
Unbidden, tons of images appeared in his mind.
The experiences they had together and even together with Tohsaka.
The image of her smile at the beach the day she asked him to stop calling her Saber.
The image of their first kiss and even the times when they would simply sleep together as he felt the light weight of her head on his chest.
Though he understood that she was not the one he fell in love with, his heart clenched at the sight of seeing her like this.
Arturia, for her part, while crossing blades with the Saber counterpart, felt conflicted in her mind.
She had this experience before when she met her own counterpart and crossed blades. That Arturia, however, was not tainted by the Holy Grail but rather at her own life choices. As such, Arturia could not see any of the traces of the righteous king that she was when presenting to Shirou as his servant. The blackened Excalibur being a fierce weapon, Arturia could feel that Saber Alter's blows were indeed strong, but…lacking in resolve. It was an experience that Arturia never thought she would go through in her life. Facing herself like this…
Was this how Archer and Shirou felt when they fought?
When Arturia backed away and Mash took over blocking Excalibur Morgan once more, Arturia then paid attention to a voice inside her head. She could feel the pain laced in this voice, who was caught wondering about the situation at hand. Her beloved was in pain and she was already aware that he would have difficulty facing this enemy, hence why he opted to stay out of the fight. He must be unaware that he was unconsciously transferring his thoughts to their link, so Arturia was pretty much visualizing what he was thinking.
Arturia then took the opening that Mash provided and turned to see Shirou, who in turn looked back at her and offered her a content smile.
It was his way of showing that everything would be alright.
She offered one in return as she felt the shift in his mana, meaning that he had decided to join the fight.
Though, considering the amount Shirou was pouring, she wondered what his intentions were.
'Please stall her for me, Arturia. I…I want to try something.'
Arturia rushed to assist Mash, just as Saber Alter slammed her sword on the ground, sending a beam of dust towards the heavily injured Shielder servant. Excalibur met Excalibur Morgan as Arturia held Saber Alter in line, before she could finish the job against Mash. Shirou watched her fiancé for a while, as he closed his eyes in deep concentration. Olga, so far, was simply watching the fight's progress with a self-scowl on her face. By all means, she considered herself the only one who reasonably should stay out of the crazy battle between servants. The fool Ritsuka had acquired a back-bone and assisted Mash, even if his assistance was more akin to cheering in the end. The grownup King of Knights was fighting alone against the blackened King of Knights.
When she turned to see what Emiya Shirou was doing, she frowned as he was just standing there, with his eyes closed.
Shirou, for his turn, was attempting something he had never done before. His magic circuits hummed to life one by one as he began to visualize exactly what he needed right now.
Trace on…
Reaching deeply within himself, his mind passed briefly towards each and everyone of the swords in his realty marble and even some of Muramasa's creations that occupied the hill of swords. His mind stopped once he reached the simple yet elegant design of Excalibur. While he did not have the necessary energy to trace a divine sword, not in full power at least, he still could project a bastardized copy of the sword. However, his goal was not the sword.
Visualize…
By this time, all of his magic circuits not only hummed to life, but were like electrical currents going haywire. The amount was astounding and everyone in the vicinity felt it immediately. Still, Arturia kept on the attack, keeping her counterpart occupied as per Shirou's request. Both Mash and Olga were sweating at the amount currently released by the redhead servant. Shirou knew he was making a big gamble here as he did not know what the effect would be once he used it. For his lover's sake, he needed to try. For his servant's sake, he needed to try.
Visualize…
Arturia and Saber Alter were crossing blades before Saber Alter backed away and focused enough mana on her sword to release her noble phantasm on Arturia. Obviously, Arturia fought fire with fire and used her own.
The two golden and black beams of energy met in the middle as neither gained advantage over the other.
Arturia was focusing on keeping her noble phantasm active for as long as possible, though her eye was busy splitting focus on her enemy and her lover. Her entire composure was focused enough in not showing outright surprise at what she was seeing right now. While Shirou had her trust for anything, she sure as hell did not realize that he was capable of such a thing. Shirou burst into action in a servant-like speed as Saber Alter stopped her own noble phantasm in order to defend herself. Being who she is, she was prepared for an attack coming from the other servant. Before she was fully able to turn however and strike the redhead servant down, Shirou slammed his tracing of Avalon right on her darkened breast plate.
"Wake up, Saber!"
Olga, Ritsuka and Mash all were mouth agape as a pillar of yellow energy rose to the top of the cave as Saber Alter screamed in immeasurable pain.
The golden glow of the noble phantasm burns through the darkness. The sheathe return into the owner as she screams. The black servant screams as she writes on the ground. The magic of Avalon burns against the oily putrid darkness of the Grail's curse. The incorruptible fights with the ultimate corruption with Saber flailing between them. Shirou just keeps on watching with bated eye as he sees the noble phantasm slowly but surely purify the servant's core, despite the agony in hearing her scream. Even if his goal was to save her, Shirou was not immune to seeing her in pain, even if this was not his Saber, his Arturia Pendragon, the love of his life and soon to be his wife. He watched as the blackened outfit melts into black liquid gore, revealing Saber's usual blue and yellow color much to Shirou's satisfaction and relief.
As Arturia approached her fiancé, Shirou was on the ground tending to the now regular Saber.
It was quite the paradox to see the saber king of knights in front of her and to remember that she was exactly like this once.
This was the scene that Caster Cu Chullain encountered as he arrived from his fight with Archer. He saw the bright yellow pillar of light and whistled.
Olga, Ritsuka and Mash all approached near Arturia as she observed Shirou taking care of Saber.
"Damn, you do know how to make things interesting…and here I thought you did not have in you to fight her…"
When Saber next opened her eyes, she became face to face with the strange redhead fighter from before holding her protectively.
Shirou could not help but look at the servant in his arms and remember his own wife a long time ago in this very position.
Everything that happened in this war was a blur to the king of knights servant. When she became corrupted by the Grail, it was like another person took over her actions and she became a spectator to a horror story being played in front of her. She tried to fight the curse, but it was to no avail, in the end. Still, being a king, she did not shy away from her responsibility. So much so that she tried to stop the trespasser from getting his way and now looking back, she managed to succeed in the end. Looking at the redhead more closely, Saber could feel the energy of the noble phantasm that healed her. She did not know how Avalon was in this man's possession, however she very well could feel the warmth that radiated from him, just like the feeling she remembered from Excalibur's sheathe.
She could feel that her core became damaged beyond repair, though, however she was at least glad that the curse from the Grail was out of her.
However, she still had time for some final words that needed to be said.
"I don't know who you are, but I do thank you for what you did for me." Shirou smiled with a nod as she continued.
"After the grail corrupted me, I thought I was alone and had accepted that fate. However, you saved me in the end, oh possessor of Avalon. Nevertheless, I'm afraid that this is only the beginning…Grand Order…the battle over the Holy Grail has just begun…"
Saber then closed her eyes with a content smile as her body slowly transformed into yellow grains of energy. Before vanishing completely, though, Saber opened her eyes and took one last everlasting memory with her to the Throne of Heroes…the serene and peaceful smile of her savior, her nameless knight in Red. With Saber being the last enemy, the Grail War in this singularity was finalized and thus Caster also transformed into grains of yellow energy.
"It was nice seeing you once more Ireland's Child of Light…" Cu smirked as he turned to Arturia who had her arms crossed.
"You too, king of knights, shame we did not get the opportunity for our rematch. Though, I would have preferred to fight you as a Lancer."
Arturia smiled at that as she remembered their fight.
"Extend my regards to Shirou for me…heh, still can't believe that you two ended up tying the knot…that goes to say how interesting he is…"
She frowned at the comment and Cu Chullain smirked, before vanishing.
Olga, for her part, flinched at the name that Saber told before vanishing.
'Grand Order…how does the servant know that name…'
Ritsuka and Mash were just standing side by side as they watched Shirou and Arturia converse.
"Confirmed, then, Saber and Caster both disappeared. Ah did we win?"
Even if Mash was a Demi-servant and thus made the difference with her shield, her tone of voice showed her insecurity and inexperience.
Ritsuka then looked at his bracelet which hummed to life, before Dr. Romani's voice transmitted just a golden artifact appeared inside the cave.
"Mash and Fujimaru, well done…Director, now we do not need to worry about Singularity F…"
Ritsuka and Fujimaru then approached Olga from one side who looked pensive just as Shirou and Arturia approached as well.
Olga then awakened from her inner thoughts and looked for the human Ritsuka, the demi-servant Mash, the pseudo-servant Emiya Shirou and the servant Arturia Pendragon who helped her fix this singularity. However, Olga focused on Mash and Fujimaru first and foremost. She smiled in relief at them, showing how immensely satisfied she was at being able to fix the singularity. Shirou and Arturia for their part were simply comfortable in observing the members of Chaldea.
"Ah…job well done, Ritsuka and Fujimaru. Despite your inexperience, Mash, or even a temporary servant, the shield has responded to your calling at last. However, it is rather inconvenient to using the noble phantasm without a proper name. I will think of a proper spell for you to utilize..." Olga then placed a hand on her chin in a thinking pose as she observed Mash and the shield. "How about Lord Chaldea? The name Chaldea has a meaning for you as well, am I right?" Mash bowed with a smile on her face as she then rubbed the shield in affection, earning a content smile from Shirou and Arturia.
"Remember Mash…" The lilac girl turned to Arturia. The King of Knights had her serious pose, but her facial expression was one of satisfaction. "The shield is a weapon that should be yielded with pride and conviction. Always remember about the desire to protect when you activate it and its full strength will come to you eventually."
Mash then bowed in respect for Arturia.
"Hai, Arturia Shishou…" Arturia looked surprised at that but smiled…indeed Galahad has chosen well.
Shirou looked from the side and smiled at his soon to be wife.
"Emiya Shirou and Arturia Pendragon…" Olga then called, signaling them in the conversation. "I don't know how you two appeared in this singularity, but I appreciate the help you provided. As such, would it interest you to lend your help to Chaldea's efforts in saving the history of mankind?" She was looking at both Shirou and Arturia, waiting for each one of them to answer. Shirou and Arturia looked at one another, before both nodded. Ritsuka and Mash were looking at the servants as both wished for them to accept the Director's offer. Ritsuka was really looking up to the redhead servant and Mash was already looking at Arturia as her teacher. Shirou then crossed his arms and nodded at the white-haired magus.
"We are here to help as much as possible, you can count on the both of us to aid in Chaldea's mission." Olga then activated the bracelet in her wrist.
"Dr. Romani…"
"Hi Director…"
"Direct the FATE System to pseudo-servant Emiya Shirou and heroic spirt Senji Muramasa as well as heroic spirit Arturia Pendragon."
"Oh, right away…Mash, could you place your shield on the ground, close to them. I will be using it to finalize the contract with them." Olga then turned to Shirou and Arturia and watched as they began to feel the bond with Chaldea's.
"You two are hereby the fourth and fifth servant that Chaldea has summoned…my father had summoned the first one in 2004 and the heroic spirit inside Mash is the second, though so far we are still due to understand his or her identity. The third is currently aiding us with other assignments back in Chaldea. You will meet him soon enough." Arturia and Shirou nodded, while getting accustomed to the feeling of receiving mana from Chaldea's source. Olga appeared content, gaining the strength of will to go about her mission, satisfied that this singularity was dealt with.
"Now, Dr. Roman, activate the Rayshift and take us back to Chaldea…"
However, before Romani could acquiesce with the order, the group was surprised by the noise of clapping, meaning that someone else was there besides them, which should have been impossible, since they had dealt with all the servants. Up the hill from the cave, the ominous pink energy was still strong, but the singularity was already dealt with apparently. Shirou and Arturia looked around, transfixed about the level of mana residue still in the vicinity. Mash was already posing her shield in front of the group.
"Well, I never imagined that you all would have managed to reach this location…" A deep and somewhat familiar voice echoed in the clearing.
"That was an unknown element for my venture that goes beyond my tolerance."
When everyone looked up, they saw the familiar face of Professor Lev, a man with long curly black hair, wearing a tall hat and a brown overcoat. Olga, Ritsuka and Mash looked happy to see their organization's benefactor. However, Shirou and Arturia narrowed their eyebrows at the feeling of dread they were feeling from this strange man. Before, either one of them could express their concern, Olga was already running towards the professor's location. Her look of elation practically pissed the professor off, though.
"Oh Olga, you look like you're been through a lot…" Olga nodded as she ran, all too eager to meet with him and talk with him once more.
"Yes, now that you're here…everything will be alright, right?"
"Indeed, though I'm quire furious with two unexpected developments…"
Professor Lev was eyeing them specifically. Mash, being a servant, began to realize that something was wrong as she once more got ready for any threat.
Author Note
Ok, that is about it for now.
For those wondering about the fight between Archer and Caster, I realized that I would be merely writing what actually happened, so there was no need to focus on that. To me, Shirou's interaction with Archer was significant in UBW fight only. After that and considering that in this story, Archer remained a zero probability future for him with him marrying Arturia. Lastly, about Saber Alter...I know that some actually enjoy here more than Saber herself, but Shirou would not be Shirou if he did not do anything about it. It's my theory then that Saber Alter could not have existed if she had Avalon with her.
Next chapter will be the end of the Fuyuki Singularity as well as the necessary steps in my mind for the next singularities, added by some scenes inside Chaldea.
Please review and share me your thoughts.
