Author Note
Hello there and welcome to another chapter of Avalon Bond.
As we progress in the world of FGO, it is quite an interesting challenge for me personally. With the exception of Fuyuki, Camelot (movie still to be released) and Babylon (episodes), the other singularities are understood through the dialogues and events. The fights are mostly dependent on the servants the player uses. In my case, not only I need to follow the events of the singularity, but also work into incorporating Shirou and Arturia (and others as well) into the mix. It is indeed quite the challenge, though it is quite rewarding when my work is cherished by the readers. Even when I receive criticism, it is well received and given with respect, which is equally rewarding, since you guys point out eventual mistakes with the theory behind it. For that, I really thank everyone who like me is addicted to the Fate series.
Now, as we conclude the Fuyuki Singularity, this chapter will show our favorite couple (mine at least) in Chaldea and how each contributes to the organization.
I plan to do some stuff before starting with the first singularity in this chapter.
Plus, I plan to add other servants into the mix that like Arturia and Shirou will aid Chaldea throughout the singularities.
I have a few names already, but still debating about two more that will later form a team.
Now let us provide answers to the reviews from the last chapter.
SamuraiFruitPunch8 - Considering how Shirou fell for Saber, his Saber, seeing her like that set him on edge. It would be expected of him to do something about it.
Spyro 101 - Well, we shall see...
DragonTetho - I believe that my ideas will somewhat clash with the system of FGO. He will go through the singularities with Shirou and Arturia, but will add servants to his team along the singularities. That being said, I don't plan on Ritsuka summoning many servants, just enough to form a team to aid him in the singulairites together with Shirou and Arturia.
Franz Myers - Thank you. I'm still figuring out how to bring Archer back to the story.
Guest - Shirou can project the outline of Excalibur and even Excalibur Morgan, but not outright trace the real deal without risking his life. It's the same as Archer in UBW.
Ok, on with the chapter.
Once more, a special thank you Axel Emiya for being my beta-reader.

Avalon Bond
Part II – Fate Grand Order
Chapter 15 – Life in Chaldea
Beta: Axel Emiya
Shirou, Arturia, Ritsuka and Mash all observed as Olga still kept on running in elation upon seeing Professor Lev seemingly safe and sound.
Dr. Romani was there as well, but through voice communication only.
The residents of Chaldea all shared Olga's enthusiasm about the professor being alive and well, though Shirou and Arturia could very well see that whoever this man is, he was not trustworthy. For one, he came from the same spot that Saber Alter came from, being on top of the hill surrounded by the intoxicating and corrupted energy of the Grail. Plus, the feeling they had from this man was the same as the shadow servants and even Saber Alter. Mash, for her part, was looking at her seniors in wonder. True that neither of them knew about him prior to being here. Mash learned to respect their experience and as such stood on high alert to protect Ritsuka.
Olga, for her chance, abandoned all forms of rationality and just kept on running towards the professor's location.
"Lev…. Lev…what a relief to see you alive!" As she ran, Olga turned to consider the potential catastrophe that happened and would have happened if he was not there to help.
"I thought I would go insane, but with you here, we can find a way to fix this, can't we?" Olga was ecstatic when Lev emitted a sound of acknowledgement, though she stopped running when Lev's demeanor shifted.
The professor, for his part, began to list the unexpected developments to his plans and Mash could now understand why her teacher servants were hesitant.
"The sudden and still unexplained appearance of two servants notwithstanding, Romani, I believe I told you to come down immediately to the control room."
Romani appeared clueless through the intercom and Ritsuka looked at the professor in wonder.
"Also, Olga, I did plant the bomb right under your feet…though if you are here, then you must have moved from your position prior to the explosion. Huh, it is quite vexing indeed. I cannot believe you are still alive." Olga stood still, not at all believing those words coming from the good and reliable Professor Lev, the man who helped created most of the systems currently utilized by Chaldea. When Lev then opened a full-teeth smile, then, even Ritsuka could see the dark energy surrounding his body.
"But how come…we can't find Director's body…she must be lost in the wreckage, then…I will demand another search immediately."
Dr. Romani's frantic voice echoed through Ritsuka's bracelet.
"Huh, even if dear Olga is still physically alive, I sincerely doubt that you will be successful in your search, Romani. Not to mention that the bomb explosion caused her quite the damage. I doubt that she will be the same…"
Lev looked quite thrilled to be the one responsible for such an act as he crossed eyes with the suddenly shocked and fearful visage of one Olga Animusphere.
"Even before the explosion, you didn't have aptitude for the rayshift technology. You could not make the transfer even when you had a body…a full body that is. How sad…how sad indeed. You devoted your life to Chaldea, so I can at least show what is going on right now." Lev extended his hand and recovered the artifact that appeared once the Singularity was resolved. Meanwhile, Olga was in extreme denial, still not believing that was going on in front of her.
Lev then incorporated the artifact into himself and slapped his fingers to show a very familiar image, at least to the residents of Chaldea.
He was showing the Chaldeas system, though instead of the visualization of usual colors of Planet Earth in between the black rings, all they could see was Planet Earth though blood red instead of blue.
"What is this…it's not real isn't it, Lev? It's virtual reality…"
Lev, though, could feel the inside elation upon looking at Olga's desperate visage. He wanted more of this feeling…
"It's the truth Olga…I have connected space and time for you to observe. Look at what I'm capable of doing with the Holy Grail. So, pay attention, Animusphere family heiress…this is the destiny of your family's madness." When Lev extended his hand once more, he focused on Olga this time, controlling her body which was glowing in yellow, before Olga started to fly towards the image of Chaldea behind Lev.
"What is this…what's happening?"
"Even if your body still lives, your spirit will not…rejoice Olga, you will get to finally touch your treasure…It's like a black hole or the sun maybe. When a human body touches it, it will disintegrate at a molecular level. Even in life, you will feel the taste of infinite death…" Ritsuka realized he had enough and tried running towards the director but Mash stopped him, before he could do much else. Olga, in the meantime, screamed for someone to help her. However, her scream was futile and no one from her perspective seemed to help her. Mash was still holding Ritsuka as both looked desperately at Olga who could not stop screaming at the unfairness of her situation. Lev kept on looking as he wanted to be sure to observe the last of the Animusphere to finally perish.
When Olga's body was inches away from being burned alive, all everyone saw was a blue blur as Lev's hand that was controlling Olga's body was suddenly hit by an arrow.
The Animusphere heiress was surprised as her body stopped in mid-air and then began to fall fast towards the ground. Another blur this time travelled with servant-like speed and grabbed her before Olga's body hit the ground. Mash and Ritsuka looked back as they saw Emiya Shirou with a black longbow in his hand, looking like it had already unleashed it.
Arturia was the one who used her servant speed to grab Olga and then take her back to the safety behind Mash's shield.
The director was still in shock with the situation as her mind failed to process what exactly happened. Arturia gave Olga to Mash as she turned to her fiancée.
"I still believe you let the situation escalate needless, Shirou…" The redhead looked serious, but the scolding from his soon to be wife was predictable.
The conversation they had through their shared link showed their inner debate.
"I know…still, I had only one shot to save her…I couldn't afford to miss…sorry I took so long, Miss Olga."
Ritsuka and Mash were looking at the duo in surprise and even Olga was still due to acknowledge that they were talking about her and even to her. The Director focused on the bow that Shirou was holding. Her reasoning came back to her as she remembered him being a pseudo-servant with Sengo Muramasa, a famous swordsman and blacksmith from Japan. Now, not only an expert in swords, Emiya Shirou also displays skills with a bow and arrow, not at all linked to Muramasa's legend. Still, she would not be a complete inconsiderate to the man who just now saved her life. Both he and King Arthur in fact…though she would not be Olga Marie Animusphere if she did not get to the bottom of the mystery that this Shirou Emiya presented.
"Ah thank you two…" Shirou and Arturia turned to her and nodded, though Arturia could not help but sigh in dismay at her soon to be husband and the look she was seeing from the Director. Like with her, without even trying, the redhead became someone of interest to the Director.
Arturia could practically hear Rin in her head teasing her about it. First with Ciel, Luvia, Sakura and now Olga; all looking at him like that.
Lev, for his part, became mortified for an instant at once more seeing uncountable variables ruining his plans, though in the end, killing Olga's spirit was more for his own personal satisfaction, than a part of a grand scheme.
"Tch, I was hoping to rid this world of the Animusphere family, but no matter…seriously, I wonder, why humans always desire to avoid what destiny has in store for them? That being said, allow me to introduce myself…My name is Lev Lynor Flauros…I am responsible for what happened in 2016 and for eliminating the human race. Are you listening this, Dr. Roman?" Back in Chaldea, the remaining staff all looked at said doctor's monitor in anticipation. "As colleagues in magical studies, I will give you one last piece of advice. The future has not vanished…it was incinerated. Chaldeas is probably being protected by its magnetic field, however the rest of the world has suffered the same fate as Fuyuki."
Romani now realized what the problem was as he could not reach for communication with anyone outside of Chaldea. Olga was looking at Lev, but was busy holding her head from the excruciating migraine she was feeling right now. Shirou and Arturia simply observe the man with the tall hat talking as their mission is slowly but surely being laid out for them to listen. Zelretch had explained that he didn't know who the perpetrator of the explosion was, now they knew.
"Huh, you all will be killed…not because you reached the end of evolution and also not because of some war, for your incompetence, your lack of meaning…you will burn like useless leaves, not even leaving a trace!"
Lev was exhalating as he explained in his mind about the death of human race.
The group were surprised when they began to feel and hear earthquakes as the cave began to tremble.
"Huh, it appears that this singularity has reached its limit…tch…Saber, trying to ruin my plans by keeping this time period even after winning the Grail. Well, then, everyone farewell…" Leff then began to levitate and vanish.
Soon afterward, the cave's earthquakes got stronger as rocks began to fall freely and the ground tore itself apart, forcing the remaining group to protect each other.
Mash already understanding the situation, screamed in Ritsuka's bracelet.
"The cave will collapse…Dr. Romani, please activate the rayshift for us immediately."
Romani acknowledged the order as Mash placed her shield protecting Ritsuka while Shirou used runecraft to protect himself, Olga and Arturia from the debris.
The group was lifted from the ground as the entire cave began to collapse in their heads. Olga, Mash and Ritsuka behaved frantically and both humans held on Mash's hands while Shirou and Arturia were together, already feeling the pull from the system that they were linked to. Shirou, though, took one last look at the cave where the Greater Grail was located. Like Arturia before him realized, if this also occurred in their timeline, then chances are that a new grail war could manifest at any time.
===Chaldea===
Once manifested inside the organization, Shirou and Arturia saw a situation not at all different from the collapsed cave from which they escaped from.
From the looks of it, they were now in Chaldea, though they were seeing the results of Lev's bomb attempt. Whereas once a clean floor that composed the platform for the masters to use the rayshift system, now only broken pillars of rock remained and debris. The two servants looked in surprise when a door opened before a crew walked inside to greet them, followed by Dr. Romani. For now, they completely ignored the servants and went immediately to assist the unconscious Ritsuka and Mash on the ground. Ritsuka was the same, but they could now see a completely different Mash. From appearances sake, she was now wearing a gray jacket, on top of a black shirt and a red tie and she was wearing glasses on top of it all.
What troubled the crew was the giant rock that covered her from waist down and none of them knew how to remove the rock.
A simple move from Arturia's arm and the rock was cleanly carved in two.
Dr. Romani looked surprised at the sudden movement and turned to the servants who were being ignored until now.
"Ah, Emiya Shirou, and…Arturia Pendragon, you're here as well, forgive me. It is just that I need to tend to their care now. Thank you for everything." Romani looked on as the crew took Ritsuka and Mash to separate rooms to be treated. Him for fatigue and Mash for the destruction to her homunculous body. Romani then turned to the servants who stood there waiting while the good doctor addressed them. Shirou was the one who looked around and noticed that one person was still amiss from the scene.
"Dr. Romani, have you found the director yet?" The medic in question looked at the redhead solemnly, though he nodded.
"We did, though she is in bad shape. Apparently, the bomb was indeed placed under her command post, though it did not hit her directly. Her body was somersaulted towards the wall. The legs took the entire blunt and we had to amputate fifty percent to stop the bleeding. From the knees down, we had to replace with prosthetics. She will walk just fine, but she will need to adjust. The problem lies with her health. Not only is she in a coma, but the strain with her magical circuits troubles us as well."
"I see…can you take me to her…I have expertise in healing magecraft and can assist in her recovery."
Dr. Romani looked at the servant and opened a smile at that and urged the servants to follow him.
Once they entered the room where Olga was resting, they saw the white-haired woman resting with medical machines of many functions working diligently into keeping her alive. They could see many bruises on her body, mainly on her legs which according to Romani, took the blunt of the impact after the bombing. Dr. Romani observed as Shirou approached the unconscious woman and placed both hands over her body, focusing on the energy of Avalon.
Despite the redhead's efforts, though, Shirou could not fix the strain in her magic circuits.
Olga was never a good candidate for rayshift, and Romani theorized that it placed a heavy strain on her circuits when she appeared in Fuyuki.
As such, Olga Animusphere would never be the magus she once was.
Still, the doctor was surprised to see the director slowly opening her eyes. Shirou's healing magecraft managed to give her body the strength necessary in the end.
"Ah Director, you woke up!" Olga's eyes were half opened as she looked around for a while, before focusing on the Romani's enthusiastic response.
Still, she was having trouble speaking for a while and Romani became worried that something happened to her speech pattern. Shirou and Arturia sweat dropped at the display. For a medic, Romani certainly did not have the cool behavior needed of someone of his position.
"W…water!" Romani then stopped fidgeting and ran to get the Director her request, leaving Shirou and Arturia alone with the Director.
"Glad to see that you at least had woken up…" Olga looked to her side and saw the servants that aided them in the Fuyuki Singularity.
"E…miya S…hirou," Olga was still having trouble speaking until Romani appeared with a glass of water and a straw.
Also, Romani brought with him more of the medical staff to check on Olga's status.
Shirou and Arturia figured that they were no longer needed and left the room, looking to be of assistance in another location.
===Chaldea's Control Room===
Arturia simply observed with a smile as her fiancée assisted the technical crew members.
Because of Lev's actions, Chaldea's control room suffered immensely. The bombing damaged many of Chaldea's systems, forcing the crew to work overtime to fix it. Still, there were a few items in need of repair for Chaldea to be fully operational. The crew was formed with technicians of many skills and expertise in technology, but neither of them knew just what was wrong with the nuclear reactor system. Chaldea needed this in order to keep the building working in full throttle. All of the systems were dependent on it. The crew theorized that the blast destroyed some of the internal circuits, but since they no longer had outside help, they needed to fix with the spare parts they already had.
Problem was that they could not afford to waste the stock, hence why they needed to know exactly what they needed to replace.
And here was where Shirou shined.
Using his structural analysis magecraft, he managed to scan the entire layer of inner workings of Chaldea's nuclear reactor, pointing out just which part was not working.
After getting the necessary information, the technicians drew the project to replace the broken parts and fix it. Another item that greatly worried Dr. Romani, the one temporarily in charge of the facility, was food, water and overall supplies. Chaldea had a healthy stock in storage, but he did not know if they would have enough, since they no longer had the supply lines. They needed to fix whatever Lev did and they needed fast. Chaldea had a kitchen staff ready and they received the order to keep the consumption to a minimum with the bare essentials. This time, it was Arturia who enrolled Shirou to help out in the kitchen. She understood the necessity of Romani's order, however being in this timeline for a while and without her fiancée's cooking, it was out of the question.
Chaldea was greatly surprised when Shirou all but cooked dinner for everyone, with the exception of Mash, Ritsuka and Olga, and also without much waste.
Picking up a large-sized pot, Shirou prepared everyone a stew with mixed proteins and sorted vegetables that he had found in the kitchen. The kitchen staff, well it was more like a staff of individuals who handled food in Chaldea as none of them had much knowledge in how to properly prepare a meal. The meals were already sorted into assembled dishes and the staff needed only to heat it up before serving.
After dinner, pretty much all of them went to their respective rooms after dinner with a satisfied look on their faces after tasting the servant Emiya Shirou's delicious food.
Arturia just smiled at seeing everyone saying wonderful things about Shirou's cooking. Obviously, Arturia was not satisfied with only one bowl and the crew learned that day that King Arthur was a glutton in nature.
Aside from that, the staff learned great things about the new servants in Chaldea's employ. Well, none had any bad saying about the servant janitor, but most of the crew found the Britain king rather unapproachable at first. Then, they saw the heavy blush on her face upon her interaction with Shirou, much to Arturia's embarrassment. The women in Chaldea immediately realized what was going on and they instantly approached Arturia to socialize with her. Arturia was no stranger to gossip between women as she tried it with Rin and Sakura on some occasions. Still, Arturia found herself at ease in doing so as many of the females were all interested in her love affair with the redhead.
People from Chaldea were used to this sort of thing…servants or rather heroic spirits and magus bonding with one another.
Also, Arturia really could not find a reason not to entertain them.
These women, for what Arturia understood, were the ones responsible for Chaldea's system running smoothly.
So, her and Shirou's assignments were depended on the technicians to perform their duties. It was like the armies back in Camelot. There were the front-line fighters such as her knights, but there was also the staff that worked diligently to make sure that everything was in pristine condition. As king and general of armies, Arturia knew that more than most. She was counting on them just like they were counting on her and Shirou. Plus, by entertaining them with her and Shirou's story, Arturia could feel that she had raised their spirits. The notion that everyone in this world perished with the exception of Chaldea was enough to send anyone on edge. But as Arturia told them her story and the adversities they overcame as a couple, the girls in the table all had hearts in their eyes, especially when they could see how smitten King Arthur was.
Everyone in the table then laughed and Arturia blushed crimson when a woman, American from her accent, summarized.
"Girl, I would be smitten too if I found such a man with abs like that…plus, he cooks. A dream come true for any woman I'll tell you that!" Jennifer was her name.
She had shoulder length blonde hair; blue eyes hidden behind rectangle glasses. Still blushing, Arturia smiled at the ease in which Jennifer commented about Shirou as she found that the comment was not laced with any sort of indirect leering or even a hidden desire to her fiancée. Her new friends chatted for quite a while over coffee while Shirou and the kitchen staff finished cleaning the dishes. All in all, everyone in Chaldea ended up appreciating the new resident servants immensely.
===Next day===
As soon as Ritsuka opened his eyes, he unconsciously extended his hand that he used to grab onto Mash for them to leave the singularity. The command seal was still on his hand as he looked around, wondering where he was. Ritsuka was actually a newbie in Chaldea and he had barely spent a night in the organization to realize that he was inside his room right now. Actually, all rooms in Chaldea were of the same plain design with clear walls. It had a bed, a desk and a bathroom with a shower.
Fou…fou
Ritsuka was looking around until he focused on the sound until he saw the strange creature that followed Mash everywhere. The chair it was standing on had Ritsuka's Chaldea white jacket.
The little pet then jumped from the chair and went towards the door, ushering Ritsuka to follow.
===Chaldea's Rayshift dock===
Ritsuka ran towards Chaldea's passageway, following Cath Palug.
He was focusing on running, though he could see from the side of his eyes the heavy snow outside. Chaldea was located in the tallest mountains in Antarctica. As Ritsuka followed the small beast, he remembered Lev's words about the world receiving the same punishment as Fuyuki. Looking outside, he really could not be certain that Lev's words were true or not. Soon, Ritsuka reached the door that led to the place where the masters were to enter in the coffins to be rayshifted to the singularities. As soon as he entered, he saw the same image from before going to Fuyuki. Suddenly, the image of a badly injured Mash amidst the fire, passed in his head, which saddened him.
He wondered what happened to her as he looked around. The Chaldea system looked exactly like Lev showed them in Fuyuki, the Planet Earth replica was entirely red.
Cath Palug was still running however and Ritsuka followed.
He looked as the beast stopped close to the place where Mash was, together with Shirou and Arturia. Mash stopped talking with the servants as she looked down at Cath Palug, before she noticed Ritsuka approaching. As soon as Mash looked at Ritsuka, she opened a broad smile that made Ritsuka blush somewhat.
"Oh good morning senpai…" Ritsuka was quite relived to see that she was alright. He pretty much ignored Arturia and Shirou and took some steps forward until his and Mash's feet were right in front of each other.
"Good morning Mash…" Ritsuka hugged her and Mash tensed at the sudden contact while Shirou and Arturia simply smiled from the sidelines.
"Thank you, Mash."
The lilac-haired homunculus simply smiled and closed her eyes, feeling this for the first time. No one has ever shown her this before and it felt nice to be held like that.
"It was all thanks to you, senpai." The two kept the hug for a long time, both seemingly unaware of the situation right now.
"Huh, isn't this nice…" Ritsuka realized that they were not alone and quickly jumped backwards in embarrassment much to Shirou and Arturia's humor as Romani appeared pushing Olga in a wheelchair. "Now that the touchy scenery is done with, what do you say we get on with it, Ritsuka…" Fujimaru gulped at the Director's stare. Even in a wheelchair, the woman was scary. "Romani, what about the other masters? How are they fairing thus far?" Romani sighed at that.
"I'm afraid the situation is not ideal, Director. Thanks for Shirou's help, we were able to get the main reactor up and running, but we had to divert the energy from the cryopreservation coffin to our main command room. We no longer have support from outside and we do not know how long it will take to fix what Lev did." Olga narrowed her eyes at that, though she understood. "The masters are being taken care of just fine, it's just that it will take longer for them to heal because of it."
"I see…well, that means that we are stuck with Ritsuka as a master then." It was clear in everyone's mind how Olga was not thrilled by the news. "What are you looking at me like that…it's not like you made that much of a difference."
Ritsuka though looked down…Olga clearly was not a fan of pep-talk.
"Excuse me miss Olga, but you're wrong about him…" Everyone turned to see Shirou speaking and by the look on his face, he was not thrilled with the treatment. "Despite being inexperienced, he faced the odds with courage and even aided Mash in using her noble phantasm. It was thanks to him that Mash was able to repel Saber's Excalibur attack and helped turn the tides of the battle in our favor." Arturia smiled at that as she turned to Mash and gave her a proper nod of acknowledgement to which the girl accepted with a blush. True that neither Arturia nor Shirou faced Saber Alter head on, since Mash needed to awaken her noble phantasm, but in the end, the girl managed it.
"Excellent words, Emiya Shirou...indeed, Mash and Chaldea are safe thanks to him."
Olga simply snorted but gave Romani the floor. She blushed however when she saw Shirou's stern visage at her for her treatment of Ritsuka.
"Well, everything worked okay in the end, we are still operational, and we have our director here with us. Thanks to your efforts, the Fuyuki Singularity was resolved. However, now seven other singularities were discovered. Space-time disturbances that makes Fuyuki look like a walk in the park. We shall use the Rayshfit technology to reach to each and everyone of them. This way, we could place history back on track and hopefully save the human race. For now, Ritsuka is our only master and we have three servants. Our forces are stretch thin, so we will need to focus on each singularity at a time. However, before we begin, I need to certify of something…" Ritsuka immediately stood at attention as Romani looked serious at him.
"Forty-eighth master Ritsuka Fujimaru, are you ready to carry the responsibility of saving the future of humanity?"
Ritsuka looked at Romani wide-eyed and tensed…wow, talk about responsibility. Ritsuka then looked at Shirou and saw the redhead nod at him with a smile on his face. The teen remembered when Shirou stood up for him and he appreciated it. He nodded and then turned to Mash offering her a smile, to which she looked back and smiled as well. This was such a gigantic enterprise, but Ritsuka not only had Mash with him, but also a kick-ass servant in Emiya Shirou and King Arthur herself. No way would he back off from this.
"Count me in, Dr. Romani!" The doctor smiled for a short second, before ushering the words more directed to the command center above them.
"Then it's settled...from here onwards, Chaldea will follow Director Olga's directive to preserve the human race. Our objective is to protect and recuperate human history. Our objective is the search for the holy artifact in each of the singularities that looks to be the cause of everything. Our enemy is history itself. Many heroic spirits, all of them legends, will be in our way. Restoring the future this way is our only chance. The mission is to protect humanity...Grand Order." Shirou and Arturia stood at the ready, both of them fired up at the prospect of facing heroic legends in battle. Olga, for her chance, looked at the scene before her in stride. This was it…if they fail...it would be on her. The stakes were high, and she at least needed Ritsuka to be ready.
"Before you guys rayshift to the first singularity, you need to see Da Vinci, Ritsuka." To this, Ritsuka blinked. Shirou blinked as well.
"Da Vinci as in Leonardo Da Vinci...he is here in Chaldea?" Olga nodded, not bothering to explain about the 'he' part. Last time she tried, it gave her a headache.
===Da Vinci's office===
Ritsuka, Mash, Shirou and Arturia all walked towards the office of Chaldea's resident genius inventor. Along the way, Arturia inquired Shirou as to who Da Vinci was. Shirou felt ashamed that he did not take Arturia to some of the best museums in Europe and showed her about her continent's modern history. All they ever did in their travels were facing dead apostles, rogue magus and even some stray servants. Something to rectify when they come back and live their life as a regular couple. He explained to her, that he was the one responsible for many of modern sciences's great breakthroughs. Not to mention being an artist, having painted the Mona Lisa painting and created historic sculptures.
However, as soon as they entered the office, everyone looked at the one occupying it with wide eyes.
Well, instead of a he, the one who appeared before them was a female, long beautiful black hair, blue eyes, considerable chest area, wearing a green and red dress with long blue sleeves and blue stockings. Everyone blinked at least twice at the sudden appearance and Shirou swore that he had seen that face before. Arturia was the one who broke the silence and turned to her fiancée.
"Shirou, I thought you said that Da Vinci was male…"
Da Vinci could only smile at the woman in front of him. She already knew of King Arthur being here in Chaldea as well.
"Well, King Arthur, as one who managed to portray herself as a man in the Arturian legend, you clearly should not be surprised." Arturia nodded in understanding. "Though, your fiancée right there is right…I am indeed a man. However, Mona Lisa is for me the ideal beauty that I forever searched for in life. Hence why I managed to create a puppet of the perfect beauty you all see before you. So, with that being said, you all can feel free to bask at my beauty." The man now woman even fell into a pose for good measure.
"Ah Da Vinci sir...ah madam, I...Director Olga told me to come here." Ritsuka was having difficulty remembering how to even address the heroic legend.
"Oh, why didn't you say so…well, you can ditch that old mystic code you are wearing. I had just finalized the new model for Chaldea's masters. You are the only one, so you get to be the first to run a field test." Da Vinci then presented Ritsuka with different clothes, opposite from the clothes he was wearing now. White ankle-deep paints and black jacket with a lone white stripe. "The Director explained that master is still having trouble supplying mana directly to his servant, so I have made this mystic code that will allow you to better convert mana to supply for Mash over there."
Ritsuka understood and nodded in appreciation as he grabbed the clothes from Da Vinci. Afterward, the genius inventor turned to Shirou and Arturia.
Da Vinci placed her hand on her chin as she inspected Shirou.
Arturia would have frowned at the woman looking at him like that, but she had doubts if Da Vinci was male or female.
"Is there something you need, Da Vinci?" Da Vinci then smiled as she understood the redhead servant better.
"Well, it's not every day that I get to see someone capable of using a reality marble, Emiya Shirou."
Both Arturia and Shirou narrowed their eyes at the sudden revelation. Mash and Ritsuka looked at the redhead servant, Mash in awe and Ritsuka with a question mark. Even if they were in a different dimension, Shirou still felt uneasy talking about this ability. In their reality, the Animusphere Family is a part of the Magus Association. But here, it was a completely different situation. Da Vinci, for her part, merely smiled. "When you have the time, I'd like to know more about the craft." Shirou merely smiled at the inventor, though, as the group moved to leave the room. He was not at all inclined to satisfy her curiosity, however, but now was not the time for that.
"I will think about it…"
"Please do…now I will be assisting Romani and Olga in everything you need in the Singularities, so you will get to enjoy my presence for a long time."
With that, the group of one master, one demi-servant, one pseudo-servant and one full servant marched towards the control room to begin their first singularity.
Author Note
Ok, that is about it for now.
Like i said before, there will be other servants that join Chaldea along the way...along the singularities. It's my plan to formulate a team to help them. Plus, I'm still in debate about the Solomon Singularity. It's been pointed out that not doing so, would leave some loose ends, so I think I will go up to the Solomon Singularity and stop there. Thank you all for the support.
