Part II – Fate Grand Order

Chapter 39 – North America Part IV

Beta: Axel Emiya

Once Rama was fully healed and ready to move, the group from Chaldea followed Geronimo back through the desert as the man reported about the presence of two more independent servants that could aid them.

Throughout their path forward, Arturia had engaged in a conversation with Rama, mainly regarding the overall description of one Child of the Light, the son of Ireland. Despite meeting with several new servants in these singularities, Arturia couldn't help but wonder about the irony, considering that the ones from her and Shirou's world keep appearing from time to time. Cu Chullain, Lady Medea of Colchis, Counter Guardian Archer, Hercules, Diarmuid, Gilles de Rais, even Lancelot for heaven's sake. Now, it was the third time they would encounter Cu Chullian and truth be told, Arturia would be comfortable with only facing him the first time.

"So, you're saying that you had faced him before…and you survived!?" Rama's surprise was evident, though Arturia only looked forward in wonder.

"When we first fought, he was but a regular servant…a strong and capable fighter indeed, but not someone you would struggle to parry, Rama." The Indian King found that quite hard to believe, considering. "His spear for instance was red instead of black, and he had craved battle, just like you described this Cu Chullian to be." Rama was still having trouble comparing this foe to the one the King of Knights was describing. "The second time we had met, he was summoned as a Caster servant and was on our side against…let's say…a darker version of myself."

"Well, he indeed craved battle, but considering the distance in power we had, he became bored quite easily. He even dismissed my Noble Phantasm as if it was nothing."

Shirou and Jeanne were close by, while Jeanne turned to Rama.

"In the singularity of my homeland, I was summoned as a countermeasure to a darker version of myself as well, perhaps this Cu Chullain you speak of is just like Jeanne Alter, and it's being fueled by this singularity's Grail."

"It would be the only explanation possible…yes, Jeanne Alter was the ultimate enemy in Orleans Singularity, but Gilles Di Rais was the magus that controlled her. Perhaps, there is someone else aside from Cu Chullain calling the shots?" Romani's voice echoed in the clearing, considering the possible theory of Cu Chullian being powered by the Grail, but that alone wouldn't alter his personality. Jeanne Alter was in fact a twisted vision of the Holy Maiden from Gilles's wish to the Grail. Perhaps, with Cu Chullain it was the same…someone from his timeline that is linked to his legend.

Throughout the path forward, the team had to stop occasionally behind some of the desert's rocks.

"Yes, look like scouts! If one of them catch sight of us, they will call reinforcements."

Geronimo commented as he looked above their hiding place. The best course of action would be to sneak up behind him and take the enemy as quietly as possible.

However, that was almost impossible to achieve with a Berserker servant within the group. Shirou caught sight of the nurse woman charging ahead and inflating her hand…he managed to move, already figuring that he would need to run damage control. Nightingale sent the scout flying with her fist, and Shirou moved swiftly to slash the scout in half. The noise would have been much greater if the scout had landed on the ground. With Shirou's movements, it was possible to absorb the sound, keeping their position a secret from the Celts scouts.

"It would be best if we not draw attention to ourselves, Nightingale." Shirou had already moved close to the group, followed by Nightingale.

"I will not shy away from my goal, which is to rid this world of the disease." Mash and Ritsuka sighed in dismay at the difficult to control nurse servant.

Geronimo was also finding it hard to believe that the angel servant was this reckless.

"I wonder if she was like this before becoming a servant…luckily, we may reach our destination soon enough…though if the scouts are surrounding the region, then the Archer servants must be in deep trouble." Geronimo commented as he looked around, instructing them when it was safe to move ahead, towards the town where the two Archer servants were located, though Romani's voice echoed right afterward.

"It seems that Geronimo's report is a bit off…in this town ahead, I could only observe one servant." Geronimo's eyes widened momentarily and then cursed.

"Then we are too late…we must get going to save the remaining servant."

===In Lubbock, TX===

As soon as the Chaldea team arrived at their next destination, all they could see was smoke, destruction and mayhem.

Plenty of Celts warriors causing havoc in the town with reckless abandon. Before anyone could devise a suitable plan of action, though, once more Nightingale charged on ahead, much to everyone's frustration.

"Let's go Mash…we need to cover for her!" Shirou screamed, and the shield servant nodded, while Arturia moved to cover them.

Jeanne, Rama and Geronimo stayed back with Ritsuka as they observed the onslaught.

The samurai and Shield servant observed as the nurse servant pounded on the opposition with one fist and fired her pistol with another. Mash would block the incoming lances that threatened to skewer Nightingale from her right side, while Shirou slashed the lances that came from her left. A lone figure who was positioned on the rooftops, while shooting arrow after arrow towards the Celts observed the sudden apparition. A tall and lean young man with grey-green eyes and messy spiky orange hair that partially covered his right eye. His attire consisted of lincoln green clothing and dark green cloak, along with bandages on his left arm.

"Hmm, it seems old man Geronimo's backup came…late as it was…Thunder didn't make it, sadly."

The new servant then vanished from his position and appeared next to Nightingale, Shirou and Mash.

"You all took your sweet coming here, huh. Such backup you all are!" The three servants from Chaldea looked startled at the sudden appearance.

"Huh, who are you? How long have you been standing there?" Nightingale looked surprised, and the new appearance simply waved her off.

"It's my special skill, don't worry about it. I trust that old man Geronimo is with you?" Mash nodded, though, looked doubtful about this new servant's appearance, while certain that the enemy was dealt with.

"Are you one of the Archers Geronimo mentioned? What happened with the other one?" The new servant scratched his hair at the questionnaire with his eyes closed.

"I guess there's no harm in introducing myself…it's not like I enjoyed being called Green by Thunder…the other servant who was taken down by the multiple Celts as well as one nasty demonic beast. My name is Robin Hood, Archer class." The others soon approached, and Robin Hood approached Geronimo, while Nightingale rushed off to somewhere, in search of injured after the Celts' attack. Shirou just observed the nurse servant go from building to building, checking on the injured to see their overall state. As soon as Geronimo introduced Arturia to Robin, though, the man's usual bored eyes widened momentarily.

"Hmmm, I had no idea that my country's King Arthur was a woman…" Arturia narrowed her eyes at the comment, though she then remembered the man stating to hail from her country as well.

"Wait, you're British! From what time, what century!? Who was the king in your time!? Tell me!"

Robin Hood lifted a surprised eyebrow, followed by a sweat drop at the sudden bombardment of questions, while Mash, Jeanne and Shirou laughed awkwardly. It was no secret to the three how enthused Arturia was to know more about her homeland. Robin Hood admitted himself to being in a rather strange situation, meeting up with a legend from his own country, someone he believed to be nothing but a myth.

"Ah, I don't usually enjoy appeasing orders from nobles, no offense." Arturia's initial mood deflated…at first she reasoned that she had met with a noble warrior of legend whose image was recorded by the Throne, but then again, she had known quite a few rogue individuals in history who cared little about following the rules. From the looks of it as well as the pose this fellow is showing, she was starting to see some parallels with Archer and this wasn't panting a nice picture for her. Worse off, she was wondering if all Archer servants had this specific atmosphere.

However, she was still curious about the history of her country after her passing…well, the date in which King Arthur had officially passed away, at least.

"I may have been king at one point in history, but right now, I am merely a fellow British servant just like you." Robin Hood snorted at that notion, however it's not like he was going anywhere, and he figured he could at least appease her questionnaire.

"Huh, fine…it's too troublesome to brother. I hailed from a town called Sherwood, near Nottingham. Lived through the better part of the 12th century, fairing against feudal lords left and right and protecting ungrateful villagers, until my not so noteworthy death…in essence, not a grand life compared to yours, your highness." The way in which he spoke was so like Archer that it surprised the King of Knights. Still, Robin's history was close in proximity with Jeanne D'Arc and she knew enough about 12th century Britain from her…and now from Robin Hood. The Fourth Singularity showed her how Britain had truly thrived when the Age of Industrial Revolution emerged.

However, there was a huge gap between her presumed death and the 18th century. That being said…

"I wouldn't say my life and death was that noteworthy." The Archer servant shrugged it off, though…it was no concern of him, anyhow.

"Noted, now what…how do we go from here?" Robin directed his question towards Geronimo. "Right now, we have what…three Saber servants, a girl with a gigantic shield, a Berserker nurse, a Caster and an Archer…not a very impressive line-up to be honest."

"Actually, Robin Hood, I could count as an Archer servant as well, considering my skill with the bow and arrow."

Robin looked skeptic at Shirou's boast, but then again, it's not like he would waste his time.

"Still, not very good odds in our favor. The best we can hope for right now is to kill the Celts leader from a distance, using my camouflage skill."

The team from Chaldea didn't see much to argue at this point, since it was too soon to evaluate the opposition.

"Anyhow, it's best if we check on Nightingale's rogue activities in the meantime. Then, we can move forward."

Geronimo, being the only link between Robin and Chaldea, took up the temporary leader's position.

===White House===

At the White House, now taken by the Celt's leader, one very much different Cu Chullain stood in his very own disinterested way as he eyed Fionn and Diarmuid explain themselves about what happened.

Instead of a full marine blue outfit, now Cu Chullian wore a full black outfit…black pants, protected by a black leg protector, black sleeves that passed the elbow. His chest was fully opened and filled with drawn runes. There was also a long tail from his back. Pretty much all of his clothes were filled with black and red spikes. As Lancer, Cu Chullain acted more aloof and had little to no worries in his mind. Right now, though, Cu Chullian's look of disinterest was quite evident, as if nothing could realty pick up his interest. Pretty much, all that passes through his mind right now is searching for someone who could make him work for it in a fight.

Next to him, stood the woman who summoned him to this Singularity…Medb, Queen of Connacht. Someone who wears lewdness from head to toe. Both in wardrobe and behavior, being known in Celtic history, as a young girl of affairs who built engagements, marriages and, at times, nothing but carnal relations with many kings and brave warriors.

Fionn and Diarmuid were explaining what happened to her, most of all.

"Oh really? And then you came running back. How pathetic!" Medb's tone was dismissive as she held her horse whip.

"Yes, I am very sorry…these new servants on the other side are indeed quite noble and powerful warriors. Two of them happen to be quite dashing beauties, I must say." Fionn was kneeling at the Celts's leaders, the ones who summoned him and Diarmuid to this singularity. Medb then turned to Cu Chullian who looked like he wasn't even paying attention to the conversation.

"Hey Cu!?" Medb's disposition now shifted into happy, as she turned to her partner in crime. "What should we do with them, huh? What tickles your fancy with these lads?"

Cu Chullain only snorted, still in disinterest.

"Whatever, I don't care. They're not kids to be taught a lesson, Medb. They are allowed two mistakes, this is their first. They're off the hook for now." The Dog or Ireland's mood spike, and Fionn and Diarmuid felt it. "However, there won't be a third…Don't waste my time, understood?" Fionn swallowed hard at the amount of prana surging from his leader. Medb could feel herself getting aroused at the display. The two knights then got up and left the premises as soon as possible, leaving Medb and Cu Chullain Alter alone in the room.

Medb observed them leave and Cu's power dissipate, just like her arousal.

"Moh, How naïve of you, Cu…you need to be a lot stricter to people like that! You need to be more like an animal!"

She was expressing a lewd pout, but much to her disappointment, Cu Chullian once again proved immune to her charms.

"Hmm, the first time I forgive their carelessness. The second time, I praise their narrow defeat. The third time, I resign myself to the fact that they are weak…once that happens, if the enemies don't kill them, then I will." Medb could at least count on with her partner's inner ferocity when it counts, even if he now shows disinterest.

"Hmm, that opinion still suits you even after falling to darkness, Cu! Your ferocity, on the other hand, does not suit you."

The strange male voice that suddenly echoed in the hallways, as a new entity appeared.

Though, from the lack of surprise in Cu and Medb, this newcomer was familiar.

"...So it's you then, Fergus!" Fergus mac Róich, appeared, carrying what appeared to be the real Cadalbolg sword on his shoulder. Purple spiky hair with tree long scars on his chest, the man's clothes were nothing fancy, just a regular pair of pants and an open vest, finished with arm protectors. His eyes were closed, but the usual smile was evident on his visage as he observed the pair from back home and time. Cu Chulliain, the dog who wouldn't go down, even after killing most of Ulster's army and Medb…oh the beautiful Medb…the memories of the nights they had spent together in multiple chambers. Fergus then turned to Cu Chullain.

"Surely, it's you who called me, huh, Cu!"

"No, that would be me!" Fergus turned to Medb, who smiled coyly at the man, making him smile lecherously as memories came rushing back.

"Oh, that's interesting…what happened? No one to warm your bed at night, Medb. I'd be happy to oblige."

He said so with such a lecherous smile, that any woman would roll her eyes at.

"Oh my…what an offer!" The woman knew how to play with her men, indeed. "But, no, rest assured…I have no issue in that area. I have summoned you because there are enemies that needed to be taking care of. Servants that are attempting to fix this land and make it back to what it used to be." Fionn was just summoned to this Singularity, but the Grail has provided him with enough material to go on, including the fights that happened thus far…the enemies of the Celts and Ireland folks and even the so-called allies in their goal.

"Interesting, I will go by myself, then? Won't you tag along, Cu, for the good old days?" Cu Chullain, though, simply turned and began to walk away.

"No, I won't get anything from a battle that will end once I kill everyone. My task is to flatten this whole nation. Minor skirmishes with foot soldiers are mere drudgery. I will fulfill my role, before I die, this land will become an uninhabited wasteland."

"…I see…while I shall be off, then, my queen!" Medb nodded with a smile.

"Thank you, Fergus, when you come back, who knows, when you come back, I can keep you company for a night."

She even winked for good measure, and Fergus truly felt his knees weaken at the girl's charms. Oh, how easy it still is to succumb to urges.

He then left the White House with the task of taking out enemy servants one by one.

===With Chaldea===

The team travelled far after Robin joined the fray, facing a minor Celts army and giant beasts along the way.

It soon got too late as the sun began to set for the day, as soon as they made it to a gigantic oak tree forest. Romani had expressed that a good leyline was nearby, which meant that they could recharge their mana batteries so to speak, while Shirou made everyone a nice dinner. With these many servants connected to Ritsuka and Chaldea, the only remaining master was getting tired quicker than usual. Which meant that by the time a tent was established, the teen had closed his eyes in no time, with Mash lining up next to him. Geronimo had taken upon himself to gather the wood and collect fruits and vegetables for Shirou's stew.

Rama, Jeanne, Nightingale and Robin Hood gathered around the camp fire, chatting amongst themselves. India, England, France and United States, each in their respective timetables, sharing histories about themselves. Shirou was beginning the dinner preparations while Arturia stood next to him, keeping her fiancée company. Though, he could tell that her mind was some place else at this point.

"Something on your mind, Arturia?" The King of Knights turned to see her fiancée's smile, while preparing dinner.

"Do you think he will recognize us, Shirou?" He acquiesced, while chopping some of the vegetables Geronimo brought, while the water heated up.

"Throughout the singularities, all the servants that we had met in our war remembered us in some way. I don't think this will be different. Even Medea in her younger state had visions of us from Fuyuki."

"True, and he did remember us from this dimension's Fuyuki Singularity. I wonder, though, if the Grail somehow trampled with his memories gathered by the Throne, making him forget about us entirely…"

"It's a possibility, yes, but why are you worried about him remembering us or not?" The King of Knights released a sigh in dismay.

"I was actually considering the possibility of us solving this singularity in a more peaceful setting…if he remembers us, then it could be easier, but then if he doesn't, it's going to be a bloodshed." Shirou nodded.

"We can only hope that the real Cu Chullian is there somewhere, and we can reach out to him, but if not, then we need to fix this Singularity…perhaps dealing with the one that's controlling him, can be enough for that." The King of Knights had accepted that and walked away to gather with Jeanne, who was observing Mash and Ritsuka rest, while the others resumed their own conversation. Geronimo, then, approached the samurai servant, while he was finishing his stew. Shirou appreciated the serving, while Geronimo witnessed Shirou projecting a knife and a small wooden tablet to slice the vegetables nice and thin.

"I must applaud your cooking prowess, Shirou…I can respect a man of honor who can live of the land." Shirou smiled at the complement.

"Oh, cooking comes easy to me, since I was a child, Geronimo. Thanks for the vegetables."

The indigenous servant then decided to take a seat as he observed the group's cook go about his work.

"There was a reason I had volunteered to gather the vegetables, Shirou…" The samurai servant looked at him in curiosity. "One of my scouts lives nearby, and he was able to bring me important intel about the Celts."

"What did you find out, then?"

"Right now, their main stronghold happens to be located in Washington. As such, our main focus should be in assassination, just like Robin Hood mentioned." Shirou remembered the Britain servant speaking. "It's our best option to try and infiltrate their base and take out the servants, preferably the leaders, if that's possible. It's my theory that the Celts takes great pride in their individual strength rather than act as a strong unit to defend their base." Knowing Cu Chullian somewhat, Shirou could attest to the indigenous servant's strategy.

"Arturia may have some reservations about long-range assassinations, but I take it that a surprise attack could be effective. Though, we are too many at this point."

Geronimo nodded.

"True enough, an assassination mission is performed more swiftly with a team of two or three at the most…plus we can't risk Ritsuka's safety, hence why I was considering taking Rama and Robin Hood along with me."

"That's a high stakes gamble, Geronimo…if they catch you…" Geronimo smiled at the concern in Shirou's voice.

"It's indeed, Shirou, but this opportunity is too big to pass up. I shall relay the plan to everyone else."

Geronimo then helped Shirou serve the stew in enough bowls to everyone in the group, while the Leader of the Apaches relayed everyone his plans.

===Washington, DC===

With their plan set in motion, Geronimo, Rama and Robin Hood set foot towards Washington to try and assassinate the Celts' leader. Shirou would be providing assistance with his long range arrows and act as a communication liaison with Geronimo. Mash had provided a communication device for Shirou and Geronimo to communicate. The rest: Nightingale, Arturia, Jeanne, Mash and Ritsuka would await close to Shirou's position for news regarding the assassination attempt. Like Shirou suspected, Arturia had obvious reservations regarding this plan, but she was no stranger to using Archer attacks to thin out the enemy numbers.

Before heading out, though, Geronimo approached to Ritsuka and Mash.

"Ritsuka, Mash, I will be going, then, be careful while I am gone." Ritsuka took a step forward and shook hands with the indigenous servant.

"Be careful, Geronimo…if it becomes too dangerous, perhaps Shirou can pull you out."

Geronimo acquiesced to the possibility, no doubt knowing about the Japanese servant's prowess in long range archery.

"Will do, I appreciate Chaldea's support in helping us fix this singularity. I don't know if I will get to say this, but whether I come back or not, I shall pray for success on your end." Ritsuka and Mash had enough experience with other singularities to know about this precise tone and conversation.

"You sound like you don't plan on coming back, Geronimo." He smiled at Mash's concern.

"Whether I do or do not, it will be up to you two to recover the Grail and fix this singularity once and for all. History after all may have its blatant flaws, but erasing what happened must never be the answer, no matter what noble intentions one may have." Geronimo then began to follow Robin and Rama as they ran towards the Country's capital. Shirou followed after them to a slightly different location, on top of a rather tall mountain that allowed him to see both groups…the one that would begin the assassination and the one protecting Ritsuka.

Shirou soon reached the nearest mountain, before his sight extended to the group formed by the assassin servants, reaching the capital of the United States.

He remembered being there only once while on a side mission for Ciel's employ…to gather information about a possible Apostle influence in American politics.

As per his vision, he couldn't see the historical monuments from American history, but he could already see the general architecture of the city taking shape, with its round passageways and many lakes spread throughout the area. Robin Hood had vanished from his sight, as per the plan of scouting ahead, while Geronimo and Rama awaited Robin's return. Still, Shirou wasn't about to wait for something to happen while on his watch. As such, he closed his eyes, reaching for his inner world. The black, gigantic bow soon surged in his right hand. Against Cu Chullian, regular prana arrows won't do a thing, serving at most as deterrent to allow them to escape if needed be.

Though, if he wanted to carve at least some damage to the Dog of Ireland, then either Cadalbolg II or Hrunting would have to do.

Geronimo and Rama stood still hidden from view close to the city entrance, while waiting for Robin Hood to materialize once more with the final intel.

It took some time, before the man surged from thin air.

"Huh, I am done scouting. Geez, I'm really overusing No Face May King." Rama and Geronimo looked around the empty town, not sure if the enemies knew they were there yet. Still, Robin Hood's ability allows them to make the first move at the very least.

"So, what did you find out?" Robin turned to Geronimo with a sigh.

"It seems they intend to hold a large scale parade along this major street…for reasons I can't truly fathom. Still, it's what they are preparing." Rama turned to Geronimo.

"Robin can attempt an attack at this parade, then…though I don't know if Cu Chullian will be fazed by anything he could use…my noble phantasm is rather powerful, though he was barely fazed by it."

"He needs to target the one controlling him, then…Robin?" The English archer nodded and looked upwards to search for the best vantage point. With the vantage point chosen, Robin vanished from sight, while Geronimo and Rama did their best to hide, while waiting for the signal to attack. Shirou was observing it all, through his chosen mountain.

He could see the never ending number of Celtic warriors, mindless drones that looked more like it, praising the one so-called Leader.

He could see Cu Chullian there as clear as day, just like Rama and Geronimo had described him to be. Though, Cu didn't seem to be the one being the object of praise. Instead, a woman of sorts appeared next to Cu, dressed up with clothes that Shirou would imagine coming from Tokyo's red-light district instead of someone from Cu's legend, back before Ireland was officially formed. This woman was basking at the cheers coming from her troops just like a King would…just like some figures of legend that Shirou came to know once he and Arturia arrived to this dimension in Chaldea's employ.

Shirou's well-trained sight then saw Robin Hood revealing himself on top of a roof.

He could plainly see that the Britain bowman's target was not Cu Chullain, but this woman instead.

He saw Robin using his bow in preparation and already summoned an endless rain of arrows, for as he perceived this moment to be pivotal…either Robin is successful in taking this woman down or they will face Cu in battle. Shirou's eyes then focused on Cu's movements…if the man was able to stop the assassination from happening, then Shirou needed to be swift.

It took one second overall…

For Robin to stop his cloaking technique and then firing the elusive arrow in order to kill Medb...

For Cu Chullain to summon his black staff and move in order to intercept the attacking arrow and for Shirou to bombard the enemy with his prana arrows, taking away most of the Celt's army from a distance and keeping Cu Chullian company, allowing Rama and Geronimo to aid Robin Hood in getting out of this vantage point, before Cu Chullian could advance and kill him. Still, the level of destruction in the city grounds of Washington, courtesy of Shirou's long range assault, was noticed. Cu was only able to protect Medb from getting killed and that…was enough to spike the one filled with indifference, interested.

Though, that mood evaporated once he saw Rama and Geronimo materialize close to the one who attempted to attack Medb.

"Oh, you are alive…I was pretty sure that my Gáe Bolg hit you dead center, Rama." The Indian King readied his sword, while snarling at his opponent once more.

"This time it will be different Cu Chullian, I shall swear on the name of Vishuu." The Dog of Irelend, though, merely snorted yet again, which infuriated the Indian servant. Geronimo, for his part, noticed the level of carnage on the streets and saw the arrows evaporate in thin air, leaving only the servants left to fight. Geronimo credited the help to the one watching them from above, whom so far neither Cu nor the girl leader seemed to focus much on. Rama was now holding his own against Cu Chullian, leaving him and Robin alone to attack Medb.

Of course, Rama wouldn't last long against Cu, but that was never their intention.

"Queen of Connacht, Medb! I am sorry, but we'll be taking your head." The woman, for his part, began to faint, getting panicked.

"Oh my…this bad, terrible. My hero is too busy to save me and I have these two bullies to gang up on me and not the good kind! Big…big trouble!"

Robin and Geronimo stood side by side as they observed the Celts' leader.

"Once we deal with you, we can join Rama and take down Cu Chullian…after that, secure the Grail and fix this singularity." Medb's frightened look turned to one of glee, which to Robin, was not a good sign.

"Oh, don't worry about my King…the grail is with me, boys…if you have your way with me, then you could secure the Grail…"

She said so with a wink at Robin, who sweat dropped at such blatant offering from this woman…

It was worse than the parlors that he visited a couple of times.

Geronimo, for his part, was surprised that Medb was the one in possession of the Grail. It all made sense, then, what Shirou and Arturia mentioned. This woman was behind everything, calling the shots while in possession of the Grail and flaunting her skill in seducing her men to do her bidding, perhaps even using said charm on Cu Chullain to control him, using the power of the noble artifact. Still, time was off the essence here…Rama was fairing as well as could be expected against Cu, who was busy wondering where the arrows were coming from. Though, from the annoyed look on his face, the man appeared to be familiarized with the onslaught of long range attacks.

"I only hope that the bastard isn't here somewhere, with those annoying arrows of his, left and right…if he is, then he's got another thing coming!"

Cu's complaint fell on death ears, though…

Back to Geronimo and Robin's face off against Medb, Geronimo was about to use his noble phantasm to call upon the nature spirits to deal a swift attack on the woman.

Robin for his part fired his bow attack at Medb, but was surprised when someone blocked it.

"You know, to be perfectly honest, I thought Cu would be more than enough here…but I figured I'd have one more as backup, just in case, right. I am indeed quite smart…go ahead then, Arjuna, please handle them for me." The name made Geronimo falter immediately as the servant in question arose. Caramel skin, black hair, dressed in all white and his blue energy bow in full materialization.

"Oh no, Arjuna, as in the eternal archenemy of Karna? This is the worst…to think that they have something like that hidden up their sleeve!"

Geronimo's disposition was completely downcast. He saw no way out of this mess, not even with Shirou's help.

Two mighty warriors against them – Cu and Arjuna, there was just no way they could beat them or even escape with their lives.

There was only one thing he could do at this point.

"Robin!" the Britain servant looked in surprise at Geronimo. "This was an ambush from the start…but this is not the end. You need to leave using no Face May King…go and meet up with the others with the communicator device. I shall hold Arjuna off."

"What are you talking about, Geronimo?" The indigenous servant only screamed for him, though.

"Go at once. I will hold him off." Robin snarled at the order of leaving a comrade behind, but the pragmatism spoke higher…Shirou's arrows allowed Geronimo more time to move and by the time the enemy tried to find Robin, he was already gone. Geronimo snarled and advanced on Arjuna using his noble phantasm to call upon the animal spirits to aid him, but Arjuna dealt with it, with one beam from his arrow. Geronimo was hopeless against the endless onslaught of beams that the strongest hero of India have at his disposal.

Shirou snarled at seeing Geronimo vanish without being able to do anything about it.

Robin had vanished at this point, leaving only Rama to face off alone against Cu and Arjuna.

The prideful fighter would not back down, hence why Shirou needed to give him an edge, hoping that the kid would take the hint and leave to fight another day.

With but a slap of his fingers and summoning an extensive quantity of mana, Shirou projected the spiral sword of Cadalbolg II as it hovered on top of his hand.

He then placed the spiral sword on the bow string and pulled as Cadalbolg turned from sword to one dangerous arrow. Shirou focused enough mana to cause waves of blue energy around himself. As soon as his target was locked on, all Shirou had to do was release the string and incline the bow towards the target to gain momentum. The blue comet travelled fast and precise towards the target just as Rama fell on the floor after failing to parry Cu's spear with his sword. The disinterested Spearman had but one second to look in surprise and in anger upon recognizing the damn arrow from another life, before the almighty explosion rocked the area, hitting Cu dead center.

Robin appeared behind him, soon after Shirou's arrow left his quiver, and he was astounded at the level of destruction caused by it.

"You could have done that right away, couldn't you?" Shirou knew that to be the truth, but it all escalated very fast, not allowing him to take action…though, his actions were meant to buy Rama some time to escape as well.

"It won't be enough to take him down…it was merely meant to give Rama time to escape." Robin scratched his head in wonder.

"And, did he? Escape?" Shirou's eyes made him witness the level of destruction his arrows caused, sending Cu flying towards the nearby building, but the new Archer servant was still there and Rama was attempting to fight him as well.

"Unfortunately, he's attempting to take down the other servant now. No, Cu is up once more!"

Robin figured that this ambush would have killed them all, him included, if he didn't have his camouflage skill.

Down in the city streets, Rama was snarling as he now eyed Arjuna, Medb and Cu Chullain.

"Give it up, Rama…" The boy in question eyed Arjuna and snarled.

"Considering that you hail from the same country as me, Arjuna, you should know better than asking me that!"

The Archer servant didn't want to take down one of his own kind…except for Karna, that is.

"What a pity! I don't know how you were able to heal from Cu's Gáe Bolg, but it does not matter. You won't survive a second time. Cu, if you could do the honors, darling." Cu Chullain's smile turned predatory as he prepared his noble phantasm. Rama prepared his own as well, but he knew that like last time, it would not make a difference. Still, it's not like he feared for his death. Shirou and Arturia had given him a second chance in this singularity, and he wasn't about to waste that opportunity. If he was to go, then he would go by taking one from the other side with him.

Brahmastra!

Gáe Bolg!

The aftermath of noble phantasms clashing shook the entire land, and Shirou could only see fire and destruction afterward.

===With Shirou===

Shirou and Robin stood at attention, waiting to see what happened when Rama appeared up the hill they were standing on.

He was injured, however it wasn't as life-threatening as before.

"What happened down there? How did you escape? All Shirou could see was a huge explosion, and then you appear looking like that?" Rama was panting for breath and holding his injured arm and chest, but otherwise he was fine.

"I had help." Rama ascertained, while taking a seat as Shirou tended to his wounds.

"Help from whom!?" Robin was the one who asked, when his perception shifted to a presence, behind him…someone far stronger than he had ever faced before. Such power was only matched by this woman's beauty. Long purple hair and red eyes, slender figure, covered by a full body outfit that highlighted her curvaceous body. Robin eyed the two red spears she carried, and could tell it was almost identical to Cu's black spear. The British servant was truly in awe at such a sight and it didn't appear that the woman was bothered by being openly ogled by him.

"Hello there! I seem to have pulled your little Indian friend at the nick of time. A second later and he would be dead. Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Scathach, former guardian of the Land of Shadows and unfortunate mentor of that buffoon!" The woman named Scathach looked at Robin Hood and didn't seem anything much from him…Rama, the one she yanked out of harm's way, was on the ground being tended by some redhead, though the energy this new servant was emitting was familiar.

It wasn't until brown eyes met with red eyes that Scathach's heart skipped a beat as her eyes widened, while losing her ability to form words and breathe for that matter.

"Shirou!?"

Author Note

Ok, that's enough for now.

Oh, things are about to get quite interesting…with Scathach appearing, but not the regular Scathach from Fate Grand Order. My own version of Scathach from my other story called Fate Shadow Spear. I had this idea for a while, now, but I went back and forth wondering if I should do it or not. Of course, the explanation that she was there because humanity was destroyed won't fit…if you all want to know more about her, you could go through Fate Shadow Spear to know more. I won't spoil for everyone ahead of time.

I plan to finish this singularity by next chapter.

Please tell me your thoughts.

Lastly, I have recently created a P-atreon account for those who wish to follow my stories more personally, sending suggestions and occasional polls to help me.
