Phantom vs Aliens: Hot Ectoplasma!

Chapter 46: Changes II

Previously

"I don't have time to waste on you Brutis, so either you leave willingly or I can throw you again..."Mandie said, cracking her knuckles.

This time, Brutis backed down, fully aware of the pain that would await him.

Mandie calmed down, her hair still flaming as she turned and walked away. But before exiting, she glanced over her shoulder and smirked at the man child.

"And just to let you know, I have not wasted my time. Especially with the "progress" I've made…"She said, smirking.

"What progress?! What kind of progress could that scrawny mutation offer you?!..."Brutis demanded, hating the sound of that.

"I'd tell you of a delicious taste I had of Earth food and from what he offered me, but like I said, it's none of your business..."Mandie said before turning and walking away.

As she left, Brutus was left fuming. His face turning red, raging face as veins appeared. All he could was clenched his fists as he watched Mandie walk away. He slammed a fist into the wall, leaving cracks despite still being a little sore from his last defeat.

"I know she said something about kissing... I cannot let this go on any further! No one steals from me... She, the throne and the future of Boudacia will be mine, one way... or the other..."He vowed.

Present Time

A few weeks had passed since Danny and Mandie's first date...and Sam and Danny's argument.

However, due to their lifelong friendship and the fact that they still fought ghosts together, they both somewhat talked it out and were at least on speaking terms again, due to neither being able to stay mad at the other for too long...though things were still a little tense between them due to Danny's "friendship" with a certain alien princess.

However, Danny still hasn't gained the nerve to tell her that his friendship with Mandie had become more romantic and that their last "outings", were actually dates. Mostly since he still wasn't sure how to bring it up or how'd she react to that.

"She couldn't even handle me hanging out with Mandie as a friend...I gotta be really careful when I explain that things...have changed since then..."He thought, sighing.

Anyway, it was free period right now and he was alone.

Tucker was being scolded by Lancer for loitering near the girls locker room...again...and Sam was with Principal Ishiyama, trying to implement yet another one of her "environmentally friendly" ideas, such as using recycled papers to replace the school's toilet paper supplies.

So, the ghost kid was by himself right now. He was outside, sitting under a tree and thinking about the recent changes in his life.

All of which involved Mandie and their...friendship.

"Can I even still call it that at this point or..."Danny paused, blushing a bit as he thought about that stunning female warrior from beyond the stars.

He briefly imagined her striking green eyes, her beautiful and unique purple hair, her yellow but soft and flawless looking skin, her perfect teeth (even if she does have fangs), her gorgeous face and perfect smile, her athletic figure and the way how she looked at him made him feel all sorts of things.

Things that have been getting stronger lately and he can't ignore...not for long, anyway.

Heck, even some of her strange space warrior antics are starting to come off as cute these days...in a weird sorta way that is. Still, he was careful not to let her go crazy but he still had a good feeling about this whole thing.

"When we first met, I just thought she was some crazy space stalker and now...a lot has changed..."He thought, finding it very ironic. "If she had just tried to be nice and didn't act like some lovesick psycho from the start, we'd probably already be going steady at this point..."He mused, before blinking upon realizing what he just thought.

He blushed and looked down, before sighing in acceptance. He knew that a lot of things have changed between him and Mandie, especially in the romantic department.

During the time they had spent together these last few weeks, Mandie had kept requesting for more kisses and Danny...well, despite refusing to go past some chaste kissing until their third date, he had been refusing her requests less and less until...well, he was actually looking forward to it, to be honest.

The last kiss during her last visit actually lasted quite a while...and it still made him blush as he thought about it.

"She really is making it hard to ignore her, isn't she?..."He thought, almost wanting to laugh to himself. "Irony, but I am glad that she has changed for the better..."He thought, smiling a bit.

However, his solitude and peace was shattered when an obnoxious voice was heard.

"Think fast, Fentony!..."Dash's voice was heard and Danny soon found a football hitting him straight in the gut.

"Ugh!..."Danny let out a pained sound, while the bully and his fellow jocks started to laugh.

"Nice one, Geek! With some practice, you'd make a great tacking dummy!..."Dash laughed.

Danny glared at him and got up, frowning hard.

"And some things never change...unfortunately..."The ghost boy muttered after getting up.

He began to walk away, but the bully wasn't done yet.

"Hey, I'm not done with you, Twinky!..."Dash shouted, getting on the boys nerves again.

Danny rolled his eyes.

Ever since Dash got his butt kicked by Mandie...and his wrist healed, he's been on his case more lately, most likely blaming him for what happened.

"Dash...don't you have football practice or some girl to hit on or something, I dunno, ANYTHING that has nothing to do with me..."Danny said, trying to be patient.

Dash frowned.

"You've gotten pretty cocky lately. Just because that purple haired psycho has poor taste and is willing to settle for you, doesn't mean your status here has changed at all..."He said in a mean way.

"Mandy Hurtz isn't a psycho..."Danny said. "Not completely anyway..."He mentally added before continuing. "And I didn't mention her at all..."He pointed out.

"Whatever! I never asked you your thoughts, loser..."Dash said, glaring at him. "I'm just saying that with her looks and an attitude adjustment than she can totally do a whole lot better than be with someone like you..."He said.

"I think her tastes don't match yours..."Danny said but the jock grew agitated.

"Watch it!..."Dash said, sending a threatening look, the kind he gets before he stuffs his victims in lockers or whatever.

"Dash...Lancer and Tesslaff at 10 o clock!..."Kwan said.

"Huh? I don't see them..."Dash said as he turned to his left but saw nothing.

"Other way, Dude..."Kwan said.

"Idiot..."Danny thought, keeping his mouth shut for now as the bullies saw the educators nearby.

While Dash may be except from scorn due to his status on the football team, even he's not stupid enough to do his usually bullying act when he knew that both his coach and the vice principal were nearby.

"You got lucky, Fenton..."Dash muttered before leaving with his fellow jocks.

"Good riddance..."Danny thought, glad they were gone.

Not wanting any more drama, Danny decided to go inside and enjoy the rest of the solitude before class started. Using his powers, he phased to the roof of the school since he knew that no one else would be there. Right now, he is alone and enjoyed both the fresh air, privacy and the spare time to think to himself as he looked up towards the sky. Up here, he had no enemies or stresses that could reach him for the time being.

However, his mind went back to the alien beauty who is determined to conquer his heart by any means necessary...and what's surprising is that it seems that it was a getting more and more possible that the alien warrior princess can actually accomplish that personal quest she gave herself.

She was patient, for now anyway. Still, the ghost boy thought about her.

"I wonder what Mandie is doing right now..."He thought, smiling a bit as his mind went to the breathtakingly beautiful alien girl.

Danny almost could believe he was thinking nice things about her but he smiled, in a good mood...especially since he had plans with her later today. He even admitted to himself that he actually excited to see her again. Especially since that date between them.

It's been about 2 weeks since his first date with Mandie, one that had been an inarguable success. It's also been almost a week since their second date, which involved him taking her to the bowling alley, a walk in the park and keeping her calm. He even had to go ghost and deal with some ghostly foes that did some mischief...though, Mandie didn't complain much about it. In fact, Danny knew that she enjoyed the challenge of a ghost.

Anyway, after that, they went back to their date and stayed calm the rest of the day.

It was also very enjoyable...though he also had to make sure that Sam or Tucker wouldn't spy on him, so he didn't tell them about his secrets dates. He just told them that he was either catching up with his studies or catching a ghost.

He hated having to do this but he didn't want to risk Sam getting into it with Mandie and possibly getting into a fight. Which may result in one of them getting more hurt in the process.

He'll tell them when they're ready. That's his plan.

Anyway, it's Friday and tonight will be his third date with Mandie...which most consider the all important "make or break" moment in some relationships...so, no pressure.

At least none she was giving him...he hoped.

"Easy Fenton. This is just another date, you can do this. You can do this..."He thought, steeling himself.

Soon, the bell rang and the boy quickly left the area and tried to get to class before Lancer started giving tardies and detention slips again. He didn't want anything getting in the way of his plans tonight.

The ghost kid decided to take a few shortcuts with his powers while no one's watching him. He made it to class on time, and wrote down his notes, while he still kept making plans for tonight.

Later

With Mandie

The alien beauty was in high spirits.

And why shouldn't she be?

Today, she is going on her THIRD date with the guy of her dreams: Danny.

"Oh, is this too much blush or not enough on my cheeks?..."Mandie said as she fixed her make-up while her droids piloted the ship.

She was so excited for today. Today is her long awaited third date and Danny said that he would talk with her and consider if things should progress in their relationship or stay the same...or if they should reconsider things.

Mandie really hoped that it's the former. She really wanted to become more than friends with him already..

Thankfully, after their successful second date...and the rather lengthy kiss they had at the end of it, the alien girl can only feel hope and confidence right now, with a dash of determination in the mix.

She knew that she has made a lot of good progress with the ghost boy of her dreams.

However, she was not going to be careless and overconfident, she needed to stay focused and prepared for everything and anything that might happen on their third date.

"Alright Mandie, this is the next strike on neutral ground that could most certainly turn the tide of this entire battlefield of love. All is on the line here...today, you have to show Danny just how beautiful, nice, loving, thoughtful and loyal you can be and that you are an ideal candidate for his mate-...I mean...as a potential romantic partner..."She said as she clenched her fist in determination.

She thought about the ghost boy. She imagined his beautiful snow white hair, those intense green eyes of his, his strength, charm, adorable dimples and that skin tight, black and white uniform that leaves nothing to show off his slender yet impressive physique. The mere thought of him blushed and made her made her blush and she was much more determined to have him in her arms.

That's why she had to make sure that all is perfect, including her makeup.

"There, done...and now for the finishing touch..."She said as she quickly grabbed a bottle of Boudacia's finest perfume and squirted it on her, first a bit on both sides of her neck, the shoulders and finally her arms.

Once done, she smiled in satisfaction before turning to her robotic minions.

"Droids, increase the ship's speed by 30 %. I don't wanna be late!..."Mandie ordered, as she double checked her work in the mirror.

Her droids did as they were told and the alien princess kept making sure that everything is alright.

She wanted to make sure that everything goes well today with her beloved Danny...and that no one would dare to interrupt any romantic moments between them...for their sake.

Later

Danny, dressed in some sharper clothes...and even had a dab of cologne and also picked up some flowers on the way over here...a habit that he was developing since he started taking Mandie out on these dates. He was a little nervous but refocused on his current date with her today.

"I hope that she likes roses..."He thought, looking forward to his date.

Anyway, he landed at their usual meeting spot, had changed forms and was now waiting patiently for the intergalactic beauty to arrive for their date. He even double checked his watch to make sure that he wasn't late. He wasn't.

Soon, Mandie's spaceship arrived and landed in front of him, appearing exactly when they planned beforehand.

"Right on time..."He said, smiling.

The doors opened and Danny saw his lovely alien date appear, dressed in a lovely turquoise-and-white colored dress that hugged her figure quite well and even complimented her eyes. As well as matching shoes and jewelry, making her look lovely.

"Hi Danny..."Mandie said in a graceful and flirtatious manner.

"Hi, Mandie. You look beautiful..."He said as he remembered the bouquet of flowers in his hand. "These are for you..."He said as he handed her the roses.

"Oh Danny, these are so beautiful..."Mandie said as she admired the flowers.

"You think so? I wasn't sure if you preferred red, pink or yellow roses, so I got you both just to be on the safe side..."He said, receiving a kiss on the cheek from the alien girl.

"Don't worry, these are marvelous!..."She said, giggling.

Danny blushed deeply but was getting used to this treatment from her. He recovered and decided to change the topic before anything awkward happens.

"So...how was the trip though space? Uh, no trouble getting here, right?..."He asked, since that was the first thing he could think of.

"Oh, I had no trouble getting here. That idiot Brutis tried to get in my way but I sicked Fufu on him and told mother and father that I would be out training on Jupiters moons again..."Mandie explained as she fiddled with the fake-i-fier and was once again in her human form, still wearing the clothes she had earlier.

"Fufu?..."Danny questioned.

"My pet...you'll meet her one of these days..."Mandie said, smiling.

The ghost boy looked a bit interested at meeting an alien animal before he noticed that they were burning daylight. He decided to save that topic for another time.

Right now, they have a date to start.

"So, shall we?..."Danny asked as he offered her his arm.

"Mandie smiled.

"We shall..."She giggled as she took his arm.

The two soon went on their date, both feeling giddy at what's in store for each other tonight.
