Phantom vs Aliens: Hot Ectoplasma!

Chapter 60: The Gloarksman is out of the bag

Danny had just arrived home, entering the building with a conflicted look on his face. He wasn't unaware of what was going on, but his mind was still on the recent...development...with Sam.

That she, apparently, has feelings for him and that the TRUE reason she seemed so against his relationship with Mandie was because of those feelings.

He was still processing the whole thing...or rather, how he had missed whatever hints she might have dropped throughout their friendship.

"Did I really never notice? I mean...I can't be that clueless, can I?..."He thought, as he entered his home.

Inside, his sister was in the living room, reading one of her many psychology books.

Jazz noticed him.

"Hey little brother, I see you're home..."She said, seconds passed before she noticed that Danny didn't respond to her yet.

She raised a brow and lowered her book.

"Danny?..."She asked, this time with a louder tone.

That snapped Danny out of his thoughts and made him aware of her presence.

"Oh...uh...hey Jazz..."Danny said, still looking deep in thought.

His sister raised a brow at that.

"Is everything alright? Did something happen?..."She asked.

"Uh...sort of..."Danny said vaguely.

Jazz frowned, knowing that he is hiding something from her.

"Danny, I know that you are hiding something from me...and judging from the look on your face, it's something big. So, what happened?..."She asked, putting her book down and getting up.

Danny sighed in irritation.

"Why does she have to be so attentive?..."He thought.

Knowing that she'll just keep pestering until he fesses up, so he gave in.

"Sam and I...kinda...sorta got into a fight...and...well...it's really complicated..."He said, not sure how to say it.

His sister rolled her eyes.

"Well, that's why I'm here..."She said as she gestured to the couch.

Danny and her sat there, and the ghost boy did his best to explain what had happened and what he learned from his last conversation with his gothic best friend.

10 minutes later

"And...that's what happened...Apparently, Sam's had feelings for me for a while..."He said, now noticing his sister looked un-surprised.

"So...Sam finally confessed her feelings..."Jazz thought, before sighing. "Too bad it was too little too late..."She thought, feeling a mixture of exasperation and pity with the goth girl.

As well as her little brother, for finally getting it. Jazz then looked at her watch, much to Danny's confusion.

"What are you doing? You have a date or something?..." He asked.

"No... just realizing that it's about time you realized it..." Jazz said.

Danny's eyebrows raised as high as they physically could.

"Wait... you knew?..." Danny asked, while his sister rolled her eyes.

"Everyone knows..." Jazz said, in a flat tone.

"Really?!..." Danny asked, not believing it.

As if on cue, Jazz got up and walked to the window, opening it as she saw someone she goes to school with passing by.

"Hey, Brittany!..."Jazz called out.

"Yeah?..."Brittany asked.

"Blank is in love with her best friend, who is also my brother. Fill in the blank and you get $5..." Jazz said as she held out some money.

"Sam Manson, duh..." Brittany said as if obvious.

"Thanks for playing..." Jazz said as she handed the money to her and closed the window.

Jazz then turned around and shrugged in a "you see?" kind of gesture.

Danny made a face, as it finally sunk in.

"So, that's why everyone kept calling me clueless... But, still, anyone could have figured it out!..." Danny went, while his sister merely sighed.

"No offense, Danny, but if everyone but you picked it up, you are that clueless..." Jazz said with her hands at her hips, and an unamused look on her face.

Her brother pouted, crossing his arms in irritation.

"Regardless..." Danny grumbled before continuing his issue. "I care about Sam, I honestly do. But... since Mandie... since I gave her a chance..."He paused, not sure how to finish that, but his sister had an idea.

"What you feel for her is stronger, right?..." Jazz asked, and he nodded.

"Yeah. But... that doesn't mean that I want Sam out of my life. She's still my best friend..."He said, looking lost and confused.

"I won't deny, you hooking up with an alien seemed... out of nowhere... but I trust her so long as you do. As for Sam... I would say talk with her..."Jazz said, knowing how important their friendship was to the both of them.

"I don't think that she wants me to talk to her..." Danny said, recalling how angry and hurt she was earlier.

"If you know Sam that well... then you know she can't be angry with you forever. You two will be able to get through this..."Jazz said in an encouraging way.

"How?..."Danny asked, while his sister sent him a small smile.

"You got an alien who wanted to take over world with your babies to change her ways, right? Surely, convincing your old friend can't be nearly as difficult..."Jazz said optimistically.

Danny thought about it and sighed.

"I guess you could be right..."He said, before going to his room to think it over.

As he left, his sister sighed.

"Let's just wait and see what happens next...and hope that we won't have more trouble than we already do..."She thought, hoping that things will workout between them.

Elsewhere

Tucker was feeling lousy right now.

He had gone to the Nasty Burger to get a burger, fries and shake combo to take his mind of his last "talk" with Sam, but it did little to lift his mood.

"I wonder if she took my advice? Knowing her, she probably didn't and is continuing to sulk right now..."He thought, as he threw the now empty burger bag and empty coda up into the trash.

As the tech geek turned the corner, he ended up running into someone who he was just thinking about.

"Sam?!..."Tucker exclaimed, seeing his gothic friend.

Sam, who had red eyes and seemed to be in some sort of lost daze, didn't even notice him until he called out her name.

"Oh...uh...hi, Tucker..."She said in a lifeless voice, sounding genuinely gloomy instead of casually acting gloomy to show off her goth-ness.

Tucker was concerned now.

He recalled their last conversation and felt a gnaw of guilt, thinking that he was the reason she was in this state.

"Maybe I was too harsh on her...but she needed a reality check...still..."He thought, seeing the look on her face.

He wanted to ask her about what had happened to her, though he was rather worried that he might really have been the reason she was trying hard not to be in tears.

Still, he tried to reach out to her and placed a hand on her shoulder.

"Sam...can we talk?..."He asked.

"I don't know...CAN we?..."Sam snarked.

"Sam..."He said in a sterner voice, doing his best to remain patient.

Sam dropped her attitude upon seeing how serious he was being. She didn't want him to see her like this, but she also knew that Tucker can be almost just as stubborn as she is...which is certainly saying more about him than it does about her.

Still, the tech geek kept trying to be comforting.

"Sam...Come on, it's just me. You can tell me anything. You know that..."Tucker insisted.

Sam saw that her techno wasn't going to back down anytime soon, so she reluctantly gave in.

"Fine..."She muttered, not having it in her to fight any more.

A few moments later

Tucker soon lead Sam to a nearby park bench and the two of them sat down together.

Sam was still silent and gloomier than ever. The techno geek was trying to get his goth best friend to open up and tell him what was going on with her.

However, she was still in pain. So, he tried something that he hadn't done in a while, apologize to Sam.

He knew she'd probably hate what he's going to say, but he had to say it.

"Sam, I'm sorry about earlier. I went too far, but in my defense, you're way too stubborn for your own good..."Tucker said.

"I thought this was supposed to be a pep talk..."Sam snarked.

"Let me finish. And while I am sorry, I needed to get my point across..."The tech geek said, in a serious manner.

"You like Danny, that's a fact, but you always took the high road when it came to beyond your friendship but you never made a real move on him out of fear of being rejected or hurting your friendship. In the end, you did nothing while Mandie actually did work with Danny, original intent or not. Everything that happened you allowed because you did nothing to show Danny how you felt, and now...your feelings won't reach him...and...that's fact too..."Tucker went, hating that he had to say this but he knew that he needed to be honest with her.

Sam tensed up, feeling a sense of anger rise. However, she could not direct it at her friend. His words had rang true.

Her rage was boiling venom, hurting her for her inaction, and she had to sit there and deal with them for once in her life. However, she still felt like fighting back despite it all. She wanted to scream, but she also didn't want to make a spectacle of herself.

She was at odds with herself right now.

"This must be how Danny feels when it comes to dealing with Dash's crud..."She thought bitterly.

Tucker felt pity for her and tried to help where he can. How, exactly, was not something he knew right now.

"But...for what it's worth...I'm sorry for how harsh I was earlier...but Sam...I just want you to stop what you're doing before you hurt yourself..."Tucker said, looking genuinely sorry about his earlier tone.

"You're a little too late for that..."Sam mumbled, hopping that he didn't hear her, but Tucker heard her loud and clear.

"What?..."Tucker asked as he a bad feeling about it.

He wondered if she made a mistake of some kind that's costed her.

"Sam? What happened?..."Tucker asked, hoping that it wasn't too extreme.

Sam didn't want to tell anyone, but at the same time, she was hurting inside and needing to vent.

Since her grandmother was busy dealing with bingo night and there was no way she's was going to talk about this with her parents, Tucker was the only person Sam could turn too...still, she didn't like being so vulnerable like this.

However, the look Tucker gave her made her give in. Rubbing her forehead, she decided to speak up.

"It's about Danny...I kinda...sorta talked to him earlier...and...I said something and...I don't think it went well..."She said, not sure how to say it.

"Well, that's why I'm here. Tell me what happened and we'll try to figure out how to fix things later..."Tucker said, putting his PDA away and trying to speak in a calm and collective way.

Sam and Tucker sat there, and the goth girl did her best to explain what had happened and why she was feeling like her heart was torn to shreds and why she felt she's lost something great to her.

10 minutes later

"And...that's what happened...and I said all that to him and here I am because of it. Now I know I've lost him for good..."Sam said, not noticing that her male friend was analyzing everything with a wide eyed expression.

"So...She finally did it. She finally put her Goth pride aside and finally confessed..."Tucker thought before sighing and shaking his head.

"And she did it at the worst possible time..."He thought, feeling a mixture of disapproval and pity with her a bit, knowing that she now knows what rejection feels like.

The techno geek was silent, feeling empathy and also guilt.

"Sam...I'm sorry to hear that...and I'm sorry if maybe I kinda pushed you to-..."Tucker tried but Sam cut him off.

"No...you didn't do anything wrong, Tuck. It was all my fault..."Sam said, surprising him.

This little outburst from the goth girl had left the techno geek a bit speechless for a moment.

"She admitted she's at fault? Man, that must've been harsh..." He thought as she continued to vent.

She looked as though she was about to bawl her eyes out at any moment, not that she'd admit it.

"I waited too long...if I had just been honest with Danny from the start...then maybe he'd have never fallen for that alien...and I could have had a chance..."Sam said, feeling tears swell as she wiped her eyes with her arm.

Tucker felt horrible and patted her on the back. At one point, he'd probably had said "I told you so" but he wasn't mean enough to do that while she's like this.

Instead, he tried to comfort her and give her a shoulder to cry on.

"Sam...I...I don't know how to help, but you and Danny are my best friends. I always wanted what was best for the both of you...but I think the ship between you two sailed..."Tucker said, having no other way to say it.

"Of course it did..."Sam said bitterly, scowling at the ground.

"I'm sorry..."Tucker said as he did his best to comfort her.

Sam said nothing as she looked away.

"He shouldn't be sorry, that alien should be..."She thought, clenching her fists in anger.

It was clear to her who was at fault for this.

"Sam?..." Tucker asked, trying to find the right words.

"Look...I know that it hurts...but...maybe..in a weird way...maybe this is for the best for both of you..."He said.

"What?..."Sam asked, sending him a glare but he continued.

"I'm just saying...sure, you guys have been tight since we were kids but... if you take out the fact that you two fight ghosts, the two of you don't have a lot in common..."Tucker said, surprising the goth girl.

The tech loving teen continued to explain himself.

"I mean...let's be real about this Sam. What do you and Danny actually have in common besides Humpty Dumpty and horror movies?..."He asked, getting an offended look from her.

"What I mean...is that you were too attached to what little you had in common that you didn't see if you were that compatible..."He said, causing the goth girl to see that he had a point.

Sam frowned as he knew that he probably said the wrong thing.

He sighed, and tried something else.

"Sam, you might be stubborn and biased at times, but you are a pretty girl with a good heart. I might not always agree with your agendas, but you truly believe in them and work hard on them because you think it's the right thing, and that's someone any guy can respect. What I mean is... I know that you can easily find someone else to like you the way you wanted Danny to like you. You just need time to heal first and let him go..."Tucker said, while the goth girl remained silent.

"No guy is like Danny..."She muttered to herself, still feeling sad.

"I know, but that doesn't mean that there aren't plenty of great guys out there too. You just need to...accept that Danny is dating Mandie and...once you are ready, try and meet someone else..."Tucker said, trying hard not to say the wrong thing here.

Sam was silent, as the tech geek kept trying to speak.

"Sam. I mean it...maybe...one day...maybe things will be okay enough with Danny again and it won't feel so weird to be around him and may even be okay with him being with Mandie or some other girl. And maybe you'll meet someone who has enough in common with you that'll make you feel happy... in your own way..."Tucker said, trying to be positive.

"That's some good wishful thinking, Tuck. But I would really appreciate hearing something that's a little more relevant and realistic. Like how to make sure he never met that alien..."She said in an emotionally exhausted way.

Tucker tried to think of something that might possibly cheer her up, however, he was coming up short. Still, he tried his best.

"Sam, I-..."He tried, but she cut him off.

"I'll... be fine, Tucker... I just need... time..."Sam said, regretting a lot of things right now.

The techno geek took this as a sign to give his gothic best friend the space she asked for and decided to leave her be for now.

However, he was still worried for her and kept his distance while maintaining a close enough one to make sure she didn't do anything drastic.

"I knew this was all coming...but it's sad that it couldn't have been prevented..."He sighed bitterly, wishing that he could have done more to help.

Meanwhile

On Boudacia

The royal court was summoned, and the term was used loosely as King Maurus's voice roared throughout the palace.

The servants and members rushed over as the throne room was filled. Mandie stood in the middle as her parents, mainly her father, ordered her to stay there.

"My king, you call?..."One of the members of the court ask, bowing.

"My daughter has made an outrageous announcement that she claims to have met a proper suitor off world in this new universe that we have yet to conquer...and said proper suitor is apparently from THIS universe, no less..."Maurus said, sounding ticked.

Mandie rolled her eyes at his blunt explanation of what she told them earlier.

"Did father really have drag every relevant individual in the palace for this discussion? Oh well, at least with this many people present and accounted for, I won't have the need to repeat my reasoning over and over again to others..."She thought, grateful for at least one silver lining on this situation.

She watched Brutis walk inside, limping due to still healing from his injuries, but he was too proud to look weak in front of the other noble Boudacians.

"Idiot!..."Mandie muttered, with an eye roll.

She continued to listen to her father rumble on about his long winded speech about how the Boucadian Empire will rule this entire New Universe and stuff like that.

Once done, the King ended his speech with a loud stomping noise from his scepter, signaling for his daughter to now speak. Mandie then saw that her mother had gestured to Maurus to wrap up and let the princess speak in her defense of Mandie's chosen mate.

"Here goes everything..."She thought, knowing that this will not be an easy conversation to say the least after the video is shown.

"This video is to shown how a warrior by the name of Danny Phantom had defeated me in one on one battle..."Mandie exclaimed.

Her proclamation was met with gasps and shocked expressions from all the noble and individual Boudacian in the throne room.

Brutis heard this and snarled.

"That freak is no warrior, he's primitive and a trickster at best!..."He yelled, only to hiss in pain.

"You are just jealous he kicked your butt again today..."Mandie said with a smirk.

Her statement caused more shock and confusion around the throne room. As even some individual Boucadians even whispered and murmured amongst themselves about the sudden news.

"I was NOT defeated by that freak. He must have cheated!..."He shouted.

Mandie rolled his eyes.

"It was there to witness my beloved Danny defeat in battle with your ill attempt at laying waste on his home. How can anyone CHEAT in that scenario?!..."Mandie asked in a loud but serious tone, causing the rest of the noble Boudacians to stare at Brutis with questioning looks on their faces.

The humiliated Boudacian nobleman fumed and refused to admit to the truth.

"The Earth's Sun was blocking my eyes!..."Brutis yelled, but hissed in pain as placed both hands on the table.

Mandie smirked at his pain.

"Is the Earth's Sun also the reason why your wounds haven't healed yet?..."She mocked, while the other Boudacian's looked at him and he blushed in humiliation.

"I don't have to explain myself or my actions to anyone! That Phantom is just some cheater!..."Brutis yelled, not wanting to continue the part of the discussion.

"You're pathetic!..."Mandie scoffed, angering him even more.

"ENOUGH!..."Maurus yelled, shouting louder than anyone.

"Enough!..."Milee shouted, as she wanted the shouting to end here.

The queen then turned to her daughter in a calmer manner, so that this meeting can get to it's main topic of discussion.

"Daughter, continue..."She said.

Mandie nodded and then pressed play.

The video showed clear detail of the first time she officially challenged Danny, along with the other times that he defeated or eluded her. Proving that what the Princess of Boudacia claimed was absolutely true, she did find someone who could match and best Princess Mandie in one on one combat.

This caused quite a commotion inside the throne room. Everyone was there to see just who was it who bested her. The combination of video ran on like a marathon, but the entire room, including a reluctant Brutis, stared at the screens as they saw the impossible before their eyes.

Of how the warrior of Earth, Danny Phantom, had defeated their princess in battle.

Despite many attempts, Princess Mandie was thwarted and defeated, in one-on-one combat, with Danny Phantom, who's power that was seen by many were left in awe. Perhaps even King Maurus was impressed if he ever showed it.

His daughter, on the other hand, was smiling as she watched the film, almost as she was watching a home movie.

"Oh, I love this part..."She thought, loving seeing her beloved in battle and getting to see him in an angle that showed off some of his best features.

Part of Mandie was nostalgic to re-see these events, but dread crept up as she waited for the end to play.

However, she cheered up as she, as an act of spite, also showed the video of how Danny managed to kick Brutis's butt during the times the oaf had challenged him.

Mandie's parents and the other Boudacian's were stunned to see that the warrior of Earth had defeated two of their planet's top warriors, while Brutis was practically grinding his teeth in rage at seeing his humiliating defeat at the hands of the ghost hero from Earth.

However, he refused to admit to any of what these videos showed as evidence. He remained stubborn as he tried to save face.

"This proves nothing!..."Brutis shouted, but was ignored by the princess, who continued to play the video for all to see.

Although seeing Brutis's defeat played before the court brought a smile to her face. She was almost certain the brute would have left in shame from this, but he stubbornly remained in hopes of restoring some of his damaged pride.

"I guess he's just another glutton for punishment..."Mandie thought, still thinking poorly of the still wounded Boudacian.

However, the princess showed no pity or even sympathy for the prideful idiot. She took pleasure that he was still suffering the pain from his defeat, especially when he still felt pain in his new and recent battle wounds he got from Danny.

All the while, she enjoyed the video of her beloved in battle.

Once the video ended, Mandie turned to her parents and the entire royal court.

They were all stunned by what they witness. About how the Earth warrior Danny Phantom had defeated their princess in battle, and so easily too. And how he had an easier time to defeat Brutis too.

Mandie smirked, as she was happy that her irrefutable proof was seen by all. Knowing that this footage couldn't be denied by anyone in this room, especially not to her mother and father.

"There you have it. Danny beat me in battle, fair and square..."She walked up to her parents, slowly testing the limits of her steps.

Her parents were stunned silent, at least.

At least the king was. Queen Milee started smiling as she stood up, staring at the screens still up.

"That means-..." Milee started, looking pleased.

Her daughter nodded.

"Yes, he is my betrothed. Though reluctant, I'm wearing him down to accepting marriage..."Mandie said, nervously smiling at the last part.

The queen, however, looked a little puzzled at this, but is also intrigued.

"Is that so?..."She said, as stared at her daughter like she could see right into Mandie's very soul in search for the truth.

No warrior had ever come close to besting her daughter and this earthling had done so with ease.

All the while, the royal court burst into a debate, wondering how to proceed was this development being announced so suddenly at their current situation. This changed everything, particularly with her father.

Maurus glared daggers, angry that a weakling had bested his daughter instead of Brutis. Thought silent, his presence thickened the tension into jelly.

The man stood tall, slamming his scepter into the ground.

"Bring me, Danny Phantom!…"Maurus commanded, yelling through the castle.

"Really?..." Mandie asked happily, but her father corrected himself.

"Not for that reason. It's so I can execute him!..."Her father said, shocking his daughter.

"What? Why?!..."Mandie yelled.

"He is an enemy and I will not have my own flesh and blood be wed by that earthling!..."Maurus said, completely against this betrothed candidate.

His daughter however would not allow this. She refused to let her father get away with this.

"You can't do that. He's my betrothed!..."Mandie said, standing firmly against her father's decision.

Her father, however, refused to listen and kept shouting.

"Stop this nonsense, Daughter! It's time to invade the Earth!..." Maurus declared.

As everyone cheered, only one had a different reaction.

"NO! YOU CAN'T DO THAT! I TOLD YOU THAT I PROMISED HIM!..." Mandie went, her hand by her sides.

There was silence in the war room as everyone looked at the princess like she was gone mad. None more than her parents, who were befuddled by her desire not to conquer Earth.

Her father looked angry, while her mother seemed intrigued at least, silencing the room.

"Oh, is that so?..."Maurus said in anger, while his wife pondered.

"I must say, this isn't like you, Mandie. Are you alright?..."Milee asked.

"Princess Mandie, why have you disagreed? I thought you wanted to conquer that world?..."One of the generals asked, leaning out from the crowd.

The murmurs that came showed agreement. This radical change in demeanor was the most surprising thing to happen in this emergency meeting. Even being forced into another universe made more sense.

The alien princess had one response.

"Mother...father...I know that what I'm about to say goes against everything the Empire stands for, but I can't. I... I... gave my word to Danny that we would not invade..." Mandie said.

"Why would you give your word to that Earth Mutation?!..."Her father demanded, as he could already guess the answer.

"Because he's clearly brainwashing your daughter, your majesty..."Brutis said, pushing past the royal court.

Mandie growled, her hair almost a flame as she saw the worthless boy walk up. This time, he would not get a word in, nor would he twist the truth.

"Danny is not the sort to do that, unlike you! He's a great warrior with real honor AND your future king!..."Mandie declared, glaring like an almost erupting volcano.

"He's weak!..."Brutis shouted.

"No, he's NOT and has beaten you more than once! We all saw that!..."Mandie said, her hair turning fiery once more.

The royal court nodded, looking back at the screens as Brutis's many defeats were replayed. The latter could feel his honor slipping away, enraging him to throw his weapon at the displays in vain as his weapon passed through it.

"The princess has not been completely forward with the one called Danny Phantom. There is more to this. She also, apparently, has no qualms with allowing him to touch her too..." Dieana called out, making the room stutter in gasps.

Mandie gasped as she saw Dieana selling her out to her father.

"WHAT?!..."Maurus yelled, wanting to invade Earth even more now.

"It's true. I overheard her speaking with her little pet. She has spoken of her activities and plans. She's also been opening up to me, telling me just what she and that freakish earthling do together. From sparring to even kissing. I even overheard the princess telling her pet that they barely held back on consummating their relationship..."Dieana said, walking past Mandie and angering her even further.

"You betrayed me?!..." Mandie asks, looking angry.

"I serve your father and mother, not you!..." Dieana stated, angering the princess even more.

"You will serve them no longer!..." Mandie barked before she pulled away by her father.

"As soon as I become queen, you're finished!..."She yelled, but the servant was not intimidated in the slightest.

"Until then, I shall continue serving his and her majesty as long as they allow me to do so..."Dieana said, making who her loyalties truly stands crystal clear.

Mandie snarled. She would have attacked her, but her mother stopped her.

"Daughter, enough! We will discuss this matter at a later date. Focus on this topic at hand..."Milee said, being stern.

The princess growled, while retracting her sword back into her scabbard. However, her anger didn't go away yet.

Mandie glared at Dieana, making it clear that she will not forget her betrayal any time soon. Her father, however, still had a few words to speak to his own angered daughter.

None of them being ANYTHING that the princess wanted to hear.

"Why do you give your word to a creature too lowly to father my grandchildren?!..." Maurus questioned.

"He is NOT lowly or weak in any sense of the word! Danny is mightier than anyone in this room and possibly our entire planet! You've seen it with your own eyes from my video!..."Mandie said, defending her beloved Danny's honor.

"Young lady, focus on using you words not on the volume of your voice. Remember that you are not your father..."Milee said, not wanting her only daughter repeating the same embarrassing outbursts like her husband, especially in front of the royal court.

"Right..."Maurus said, only to process what he just heard.

"Hey!..."He shouted, but his wife ignored him.

The main issue here is their daughter and the status of her supposed betrothal with Earth's mightiest champion.

"So, you have full intentions of marrying this Phantom boy?..."Milee asked.

Mandie nodded.

"Yes...in the future. After we...work through some issues..."She said, knowing that Danny isn't ready yet.

Her father, however, was outraged by the implications of what his daughter just told them.

"You are NOT marrying him!..."Maurus shouted.

"I WILL marry him, just not right away! I still have to wait until he comes of age, and work some things out with him, but I am well on my way to become his wife if all goes well. We just have to wait until we've both sort out ours own feelings for each other! I'm sure of it!..."Mandie argued.

Her father growled at that, not understanding why she is acting so bizarre and breaking tradition.

"Even IF he becomes your mate, why does it matter if we conquer his world or not?! We can just add his planet into our empire like we tried with the Yugopotamians!..."Maurus said, still disgusted that they ever associated themselves with those disgusting space squids.

"We all know how that turned out. A royal blunder of what otherwise would have been a beneficial alliance..."Milee said, however deep down she was relieved, since the only benefit that they would gain from allying themselves with them was adding resources to the military and nothing more.

"Not now, Milee!..."Maurus said, knowing full well what they were really after from that staged alliance with those Yugopotamians.

The king still wanted to honor Boudacia's traditions, and refused to compromise on such a thing.

Mandie, on the other hand, remained vigilant on keeping her promise to not invade her beloved's home planet. Still, she tried to reason with her VERY stubborn father and pleaded to her mother's better judgment.

"I just think we needn't be enemies here. This universe is different from our old one, so perhaps we should... act different?..." Mandie went, not sure how to word it.

Her father won't exactly the biggest fan of change and what the princess was suggesting was going beyond overboard in his mind.

"You think we should just form a circle and sing songs of friendship or whatever humans do?..." Maurus asks angrily.

Mandie sighed and tried to simplify her reasoning towards her father.

"Father, this is difficult to believe...and I know that our past is littered with the blood of our enemies in battle, but the earth creatures in this dimension aren't so bad. And maybe this is a chance for our people to change for a better Boudacia..."Mandie said as she circled her father.

The entire court looked at her like she said something ludicrous, but Mandie continued to plead her case.

"Danny and his people may not be as battle hungry or as advance in technology as us, but they are rich in many different ways and can offer us to expand our horizon far beyond war and combat abilities..."Mandie said, as she recalled everything she has learned and come to truly love of that blue planet.

She continued abating her case as she showed images and videos that she had taken from her free time on this universe's Earth. Including the time when she want on her dates with Danny.

She smiled as she saw these images, before she continued to state her case to her parents and the royal court.

"As you can see, the Earth is actually a nice place to visit. I know that personally and the humans aren't so bad...most of them anyway..."She said, recalling Dash and Paulina but she did not want to bring them up here.

"Sure, we might be technologically more advance than that race, but I admit that their planet has things that we lack in comparison..."She continued, hoping to get through to some of the other people in this room.

"Preposterous! Their planet is barely worth the effort of conquering! The only worth is some minor resources and potential slaves, that's it!..."Her father said.

Mandie continued to show her evidence.

"There's more!..."She shouted, showing the footage.

"Look at the evidence and tell me otherwise. Tell me if any of you truly think that this universe's Earth as worthless as we were once lead to believe..."She said, as she pointed at the footage.

"The planet and the human race are more advanced than the previous one and there certainly is potential for our two worlds to form a beneficial relationship with one another, we just have to at least try to adapt to our new surroundings. If we don't, then the future of our great Boudacian empire will become ever more bleak! This world has value!..."She said, hoping he'd listen.

King Maurus was silent, but his tense face almost bared fangs of anger. If it wasn't Mandie presenting these idea of peace, they would have been tore asunder.

All this bigger picture style of thinking only managed to make the King's throb in minor mental pain, which only caused him more anger. If that was even possible.

"I forbid this! I will not change my decision to invade Earth! And I hereby forbid you from ever going near that planet ever again!..."He yelled.

"You can't do this!..."His daughter insisted, mentally cursing her father thick-headed-ness.

"It has been done!..."Maurus shouted, refusing to budge on the subject.

"Father!..."Mandie tried, but her father shot her down.

"No! You listen! We are a proud warrior race and nothing will change that fact! Not in this new universe or our original one! The Earth will simply surrender whatever profits or unique qualities they possess and accept or mighty rule or we will invade them and conquer their puny planet like all the rest!..."He declared, as it seems like his mind was set on this decision he made.

His daughter growled.

"You're such a stubborn foolish old man! You're far too short-tempered for your own good!..."She shouted, making nearly everyone in the throne room gasp in shock from the Princess's loud outburst.

"How dare you speak that way to me?!..."Maurus yelled, but his daughter kept yelling at him.

"Like it or not, Danny defeated me in battle and that makes him my future groom by our people's traditions! And I will not allow you guys to attack the home of the future king!..."Mandie yelled, while Brutis looked enraged.

"That freak is NO king and you can't possibly stop all of us from our traditional right to invade that mud ball planet!..."Brutis yelled.

"And I refuse to acknowledge that freakish earthling whelp to becoming the next ruler of Boudacia or the father of my grandchildren! As the king of Boudacia, I forbid it!..."Maurus yelled but was halted in his efforts to continue his refusal of his daughter's betrothal by his wife.

"Maurus, enough. Whether we approve or not, the boy did defeat out daughter in battle. That much is irrefutable fact and you know it..."Milee said, making it clear that she understood the real situation better than him.

The king, however, wasn't swayed.

"I am STILL the king here and what I say goes! That includes who my daughter aligns with!..."He said.

His daughter was desperate to sway him.

"There's something else..."She said, getting an idea that might get their attention.

She pulled something from her satchel and pulled it out.

"Just look!..." Mandie said, presenting the bag.

"What is that?!..."Maurus demanded, while the other Boudacians stared at the object with curiosity.

"It's food from Danny's planet..."Mandie said as she held a paper bag from Nasty Burger, the same one that she got before she left due to getting a craving for the stuff.

"Despite the peculiar name, the earth in this dimensions provides far better food than the flavorless rations that the House of Forcivul has given to the military..."Mandie said, while her arrogant suitor looked offended by that remark.

"How dare you?! My family has provided food and supplies to our armies for years! It is a staple of nutrition!..."Brutis yelled, slamming the table with his one hand that still functions and isn't in a cast.

"And yet it is demoralizing and tastes like cardboard…"Mandie sassed, and held up a bar as the warriors backed away.

"Even the simple salads that I have tried on Earth are more delectable than that slop!..."She said, as she even showed more video evidence of her claims to prove it.

"There's no possible way that some lowly planet that names itself after its own dirt could make food that could possibly surpass my family's fine cuisine!..."Brutis yelled.

The princess simply ignored the idiotic brute's claims, before turning to her parents.

"I agree with Brutis!..."Her father said, but the princess groaned.

"Just taste it!..."Mandie yelled, as she presented the Earth dish to them.

"You'll all see that this alone is better than all of that junk that the Forcvil's had us stomach during battles for decades!..."She said.

The king looked at the food from Earth with suspension written all over his face, making the other Boudacians question how edible the Earth dish might be. The King even used his scepter to poke at the Earth food to check if it were alive or not. He sent a distrusting look at it, not approving of it at all.

"How can we feed our best fighters if this same substance brings down their morale? In battle, one must be vigorous, fearing no one as death watches us all!…"The girl cracked the table in half as she hopes that this new approach will finally get through her father stubbornly thick-head.

"Mandie, do not be ridiculous! There is nothing wrong with our food. Now cease the talk of treachery before I-..."Maurus yelled, but before he could continue, the sound of eating filled his ears.

He turned and saw that his wife was eating the very Earth dish with a look of genuine surprise all over her face.

"Mmmm...Oh my, I must say, this is quite delicious indeed. In fact, there are so many flavors that I've never even tasted before in all my years in the battlefield..."Milee said after eating one of the burgers that her daughter had brought from Earth.

All the other Boudacians looked on in both shock and curiosity at the queen's words.

"What is this delicacy called?..."Milee asked, before taking another bite.

"Danny calls it a hamburger, Mother..."Her daughter explained, happy to see that she was eating it.

"It's made mostly of bovine meat, cheeses, vegetables and between two loathes of bread...and this is just one sample of what that world offers in culinary delicacies. You have to try this dish called "ice cream" it's absolutely scrumptious!..."Mandie said, while her mother looked very interested to learn more about these delicacies from another world.

"Not to mention, these fries, are made of an earth vegetable called potatoes that are sliced, dipped in burning oils and sprinkled with an item called salt. They go very well with the burgers..."Mandie said as she offered it to her mother.

Milee tried it and her face turned to a delighted expression, nearly moaning in pleasure from eating it.

"Oh my, you're right. The starchy and salty flavors of these fries things compliment this hamburger marvelously!..."Milee said, eating them with gusto and causing some of the other noble Boudacians to look curiously at the Earth cuisine as she ate this other worldly dish.

Maurus looked annoyed, going into another one of his loud rants again.

"Milee! Why are you even eating that peculiar Earth slop?!..."He demanded.

"Peculiar name or not, it is rather good. And Mandie has a point. It would be better if our armies didn't detest the food they have to eat whenever they're on the battlefield or a tournament match..."She said, while she continues to munch on the hamburger.

"Try it for yourself and see if I'm wrong..."Milee said as she offered a piece.

Maurus rolled his eyes but took a bite, just to prove his own point to his beloved queen.

"Now, see—..."Maurus said, but paused when he registered the taste of the food.

"Oh...my..."He thought and before he knew it, he scarfed it down in a voracious manner.

Not even leaving a single spec to fall on the flood as he swallowed every last crum within a matter of seconds. He even licked his fingers and wagged his tail in unexpected delight.

Mandie saw this and smirked.

"It's delicious. Isn't it, Father?..."She asked, looking smug.

Her father had a content look on his face as he had eaten the earth dish, only to stop once he realized what he was doing and noticed that everyone was looking at him.

Maurus instantly felt like he had been set up and exposed, and by his own daughter too. He huffed, embarrassed but remained stubborn, trying to save some of his dignity.

"Not bad, I guess..."He muttered.

"Well, you certainly wolfed it down for something you think is just "not bad". You even licked your fingers..."She pointed out, while her father snarled.

However, he was still marveled over the Earth food.

"How can you make something so good just by staking ingredients together between two pieces of bread? ..."He thought, wondering what secret the Earthlings had, while keeping his emotions in check for once.

"Admit it, Dad..It's delicious and this is just the start..."Mandie said, smirking.

"Earth is full of all kinds of delectable treats that I can't even begin to count them all. There is this one dish, called pizza that Danny introduced me too a while back and it's a dish that has no limit of imagination. And thankfully it's not the only one of it's kind either. There are also sweets like cotton candy, corn dogs and ramen. Oh, it has noodles that are silky, like they were weaved from galactic silkworms and the broth is so rich and delectable, made with savory meat and vegetables. All delicious!..."She said, enticing not only her father with the prospect of even more delicious food from Earth, but all the other Boudacians in the throne room, especially her mother.

Her father was practically drooling at the food, even if he wasn't sure what they were, but his daughter's tone made it clear that they were delicious. However, he quickly wiped away his drool and shake his head.

"Delicious or not, we have standards and this does not change my decision to invade Earth!..."Maurus yelled, being stubborn.

His daughter growled and was cursing at his stubbornness inside her own head.

"You're unbelievable. A better option is placed right in front of you and you're too stubborn to see that!..."Mandie yelled.

"Better option?! You mean going native and abandoning our sacred traditions for something that'll just weaken us all?! NEVER!..."Maurus yelled, refusing to change his views.

"This only proves that conquering this universe's Earth will be well worth the effort! It's what we should be doing right now!..."He shouted, letting his temper get the better of him.

The Boudacians within the room grabbed the table backed away, expecting flames, but the princess didn't even produce a spark yet but it was clear that she is very upset at the moment.

"How could my own flesh and blood, my only daughter who contained so much great potential, end up growing up to be such a lighthearted fool who'd swoon over a pathetic weakling from an enemy planet?!..."Maurus yelled at her and his daughter immediately snapped right after hearing her father say all that.

"The only fool in this room is you, Father! So long as you ignore Brutis still standing there, that is!..."Mandie yelled as her hair turned into fire, that nearly burned the roof of the throne room.

"Don't you dare raise your voice to me like that, young lady! Don't forget who is in charge of this planet AND your allowance!..."Maurus yelled as his fur turned into fire as well.

"Settle down you two and be careful with that temper of yours, before I order our royal fire brigade and dump ice-cold water on you both before you burn down the roof! Again!..."Milee said, as she tried to calm them down, but her words fell on deaf ears.

This only caused the Queen of Boudacia to sigh in both frustration and exhaustion of having to deal with two hot-headed members of her family. She simply hopes that this will end before anymore of her EXPENSIVE belongings get shattered in battle.

"This whole attempt to invade is a waste of time and we don't have anything that worth while to gain, since these earthlings are the only other sentient lifeforms we have come in contact so far..."Mandie said, desperate to get them to listen to her.

"We're risking so much, wasting resources and our lives to take over a planet that we can easily become allies with! They doesn't want a fight us and we don't need to fight them! There must be another way that we can thrive within this new universe without unnecessarily making enemies with people who could be our allies!..."She said, not wanting to break her promise to her beloved and sacrifice her planet's future.

"I am doing what is best for Boudacia and our future, by defeating any lifeforms who dares to challenge our might!..."Maurus yelled, looking determined to prove his point to anyone who questions him.

"That can't possibly be all that we are as both a planet sized Empire and as a warrior race! There must be more! Is conquering other worlds and proving your strength and superiority to others all you care about, Father?!..."She yelled at him.

"It has always been our way! Why are you questioning this purpose ours now?!..."Maurus yelled.

"Because I want to be something more than that!..."Mandie yelled back, truly believing that she and her people can be something more.

Maurus stared in shock, gazing into the girl's eyes.

He saw for himself that she is serious and wanted to proved that to anyone who was willing to listen. He frowned, as he didn't see the killer instinct in his child's eyes, the same one that he was always so proud of.

"That look in your eyes... you don't have the same killer look that you used to have. This universe has changed you... and I don't like it!..." Maurus said with a deep tone of realization and disappointment in his voice.

"Don't like what?! That I've found something more fun to do than fighting or that this change does not give you everything or anything you want?!…"Mandie snarked as she narrowed her eyes, her hand twitching for her handle.

An intense silence deafen the throne room at that moment, until one arrogant Boudacian that couldn't read the room spoke up. One that was making a fool of himself because of his own stubborn pride to look good in front of his fellow nobles, he spoke his thoughts.

"You better think carefully about your next words, my dear…"Brutis said, as he leaned into Mandie.

His record of losses kept anyone from taking him seriously, yet his face spoke volumes of the danger he was presenting.

"You have a promise to your people in case you've forgotten, Princess!…"He said, speaking in a condescending way.

Mandie clicked her tongue the annoying dead-weight in the room, irritated that he would have the nerve to insinuate that she had forgotten.

"I have not forgotten, but I also am keeping my word to Danny!…"Mandie said, making her statement very clear to everyone in the throne room.

"You gave your word to that freak?!..." Brutis shouted in anger and jealousy.

"That so-called freak has shown me more respect than you ever did, even when he hated me! And besides... of course I would! I love him and vow to earn his love, and then to have his children one day!..." Mandie declared, while her fellow Boudacians all loudly gasped at hearing how defiant the princess is being right now.

Her mother didn't seem to mind, but her father certainly did and made it known to everyone in the room.

"Unacceptable! I refuse to allow that creature's blood to flow through my grandchildren!..." Maurus shouted.

"You don't even know him! You can't call him unworthy without even meeting him! And you have no right to keep us apart!..."Mandie yelled at him, knowing that she is right about the rules of her betrothal.

"That may be so, but it doesn't say anywhere in our tradition that I can't at least try to battle this chosen groom of yours...and if he ends up crushed in battle, so be it!..."The king yelled.

"Don't even think about it, Father. Danny is my chosen mate and his power is incredible, any children that we'd have would have his power beyond your imagining!..."The princess insisted.

"Danny and I would become the strongest couple in the universe! Not to mention he's really cute, sweet, funny, fun and brave. Not to mention he doesn't let ANYONE get away with wronging his people. He'll be the perfect king once he accepts that I'm the perfect bride for him! I just need some time to show him that he'll always be happy with me, and I can be everything that he could ever want in a woman. After that, a union between our two worlds could prove greater results for both our people. I know it will! Why can't you just give us your blessing?!..."She pleaded, looking angry and even a little desperate right now.

"He's not Boudacian!..." Maurus dismissed

"YOU'RE not Boudacian!..." Mandie shouted, pointing out his hypocrisy.

"How can you be so thick headed and hypocritical?!..."She shouted.

"MANDIE?!..."Maurus yelled, shocked by her audacity.

Mandie didn't stop, she kept berating her own father, much more passionately than she ever has before.

This display of emotion peaked the Queen's interest, as even she was surprised by how far her own daughter is willing to go for this Ghost Boy from this universe's Earth. Her husband didn't share this sentiment. He wanted to argue but his daughter kept speaking.

"You don't get it do you?! You can't win against Danny! I spent months hunting him, fighting him with all my strength and used up nearly every last one of our technology and he still defeated me each time! He has all the brains and powers to back himself up and eliminate me, and yet he took mercy on me because of an oath he made to not kill anyone!...Even me..."Mandie said as her voice became more passionate as she defended her boyfriend.

Most, if not all the noble Boudacians were both surprised by the princess's words of pride in someone other than herself and her royal bloodline.

"However, I also know that he will do everything and anything to protect his home. You can't defeat him father! No one on Boudacia can! He's too powerful for any of us!..."Mandie said, knowing this truth more than anyone here in this room.

Maurus growled.

"You underestimate me, Daughter?!..." He accused

"No father, I state the truth. We can't defeat him on a one on one battle, including you..." Mandie answered, as she kept trying to get her thick-headed father to listen to her.

"On his own with nothing but his strength and wits, he overcomes many battles with his enemies, some of which can create planet wide storms or transform into beasts of legend in single combat. He even defeated a conqueror who was a threat to an ENTIRE DIMENSION and he not only defeated him, but also re-sealed him back into a eternal slumber!..."Mandie said, as she began to say all of her beloved's accomplishments in a serious, yet adoring manner.

"And when his hometown was overthrown by by a being that controlled all forms of plant life, my beloved still kept on fighting and defeat it with new powers that he didn't even know that he had! And that's only SOME of the amazing things that he has accomplished in his short life!..." Mandie stated, having heard about the stories she heard from her beloved and his allies that talked about his strength and his many great feats of heroism.

"He has the loyalty of a kingdom of warriors, his closest friends have incited rebellions, wielded magic of forgotten and mysterious origins. Escaped an unjustifiable prison in another dimension filled with many powerful enemies, who's powers are far more impressive than even I am aware of..."She admitted, before continuing.

"My darling also has access to powerful machinery, but he would not need them to defeat any warrior of our people. That is the power he wields and how mighty Danny truly is. He really IS that amazing as a warrior, and even I can't defeat him in a true battle, and the same would go for all of you..."She said, fully confident in her beloved's abilities.

However, one person in the emergency meeting room didn't believe a single word she said, or at least did his best to deny it all. It was a certain nuisance that refused to back down.

"Maybe not alone, but even your great champion could not stand before our entire army..."Brutis said, dismissing the boasts of his supposed bride as nothing more than that.

Exaggerations that sounded too outrageous to be true, lies that were as false as the fairytales back in their old universe. Tall tales that they'd tell to make light.

Mandie heard this and grew angry, enraged that any of these Boudacians would dare to insinuate that she was telling tall tales about her beloved and dared to even lie in throne room.

"You're actually suggesting sending AN ENTIRE ARMY to fight ONE warrior?! That's both cowardly and lacks the honor of what our race stands for! To fight for personal glory to overcome and grow!..."Mandie yelled.

What the Princess said is true and even had some of the noble Boudacians to think twice about sending their elite warriors into such a disgraceful style of battle. Brutis, however, had his own argument ready.

"If this Phantom creature is as powerful as you claim he must be, then he must be eliminated and we must have his corpse studied..." Brutis suggested, while Mandie rushed forward faster than anyone had ever seen her move.

Her sword was now pressing into Brutis's neck as the ignited plasma began burning his flesh.

"Another word from you and you will not live to regret it!..."She shouted, sending a death glare at the worm underneath her boot.

Brutis actually feared for his life for a moment, before Mandie's parents tried to rein her in from her rage.

"Mandie, desist! Remember our training lessons! You control your anger, your anger does not control you!..."Milee said, serious.

She was the only one in the room that remained sitting on her throne calm and collected, while commanded her daughter with her strict tone.

"I AM in control, Mother!.."The princess snarled, showing that she is ready to vanquish this weak foe that she pointed her plasma blade at.

"ENOUGH!..."Maurus yelled, loudly Mandie stepped away.

The throne room was now deathly silent for a moment. The king and the princess were locked in an intense glare, no one dared to speak another word in fear of becoming a target of their wrath.

"Mandie, go to your room and stay there. You are stationed there any further notice!..."Maurus said.

"WHAT?!..."Mandie yelled, while her father remained vigilant

"Go there and think about what you had done, young lady! And do NOT eavesdrop I need to have words with the noblemen!..."He yelled.

"Yes, go my love. Your father and I have to discuss important matters that involve what we should do for the future of Boudacia, as well as our wedding..."Brutis said, being his usual condescending self.

Mandie sent him a disgusted look, very annoyed that she is being grounded by her parents. She was seething, and clearly had smoke and embers escape her hair as it could burst into flames at any given moment

"The only one I am ever going to marry is Danny! HE is my betrothed, or the man who I chose to become mine! He has more honor in a single atom than you do in your entire body!..."Mandie said, still furious.

"Mandie! Go to your room! NOW!..."Her father roared once more, his fur briefly becoming fiery once again.

The Princess of Boudacian clicked her tongue again, as she began to walk towards the throne room doors, but not without stating one last thing to everyone in the room.

"You disappoint me, Father. I didn't expect you to be this foolish..."She said, serious with every word she said.

She left giving the barest movement of her head as a bow towards her father before leaving the chambers. However, on the inside, she seemed ready to kill at this point.

She wasn't the only one, as the king was only BARELY controlling his own anger at this point.

Milee saw this and sighed.

"Well, that went fabulously..."She thought sarcastically, knowing that this problem is no where near over with yet.

REPLIES to my loyal and totally awesome reviewer:

Luiz4200: Yeah.

Fiction Realm: Yeah.

RonaldM40196867:

1) I guess we will have to wait and see what happens.

2) I will consider it. Thanks for the suggestion.

3) I will admit that Brutis, despite being an elite warrior, doesn't stand a chance against Danny or Mandie is a fair fight.

4) How is what I showed in this chapter?

5) Sorry, no spoilers. I guess we will have to wait and see what happens.

6) He doesn't see him as a real threat, just a pest.

7) It's on of the reasons, the other is that she wants a strong warrior to become her king.

8) Yeah, I guess that would be the main reason.

9) Yeah.

10) Right.

11) That would be kind of funny.

12) She sees her as an enemy.

13) Mandie did try to point out that Danny is a better candidate in this chapter, but her father refuses to listen.

14) Most likely.

15) Right.

16) Sorry, no spoilers. I guess that we will have to wait and see what happens.

17) I'll consider it. Thanks for the suggestion.

18) I am sure they have come up with quite a few, but Danny would probably keep calling him "Bruty" to annoy him.

19) I'll consider it. Thanks for the suggestion.

20) Right.

21) I'll consider it. Thanks for the suggestion.

22) Sorry, no spoilers. I guess that we will have to wait and see what happens.

Tbfiremon771: I guess that we will have to wait and see what happens.

Jebest4781: How is this?

DJTimmer: How is this?

ChrisZilla18: Yeah.

Invader Johnny: Hopefully, she might listen to what Tucker had said.

Simm36: Gracias :)

Danifan3000:

1) Sorry, no spoilers. We will have to wait and see what happens.

2) I see your point, Sam's parents probably would try something like that, but Grandma Ida wouldn't let them.

3) I don't think Sam is that judgemental and shallow. Sure, she can be biased with her views but it's mostly due to being young and stubborn, as well as a way to rebel against her parents. I also I think her hatred for cheerleaders is mostly connected to her hatred of Paulina.

IrishKatana: Yeah.

JDF Legacier Morphicon: Thank you :)

Here are my responses to your questions:

1) Maybe, if she gained some character development and lost some of her self-centered ways.

2) Then there would be no Danny Phantom, and it would make things much harder to deal with Vlad and the other ghosts.

3) I don't think that Sam would become the red huntress, at least not specifically to get even with Danny since she isn't as materialistic as Val was.

4) I guess that Ally and Annie are my top favorites, along with Felix and Eddie.

5) I would say Ida Manson is. She is a spunky grandma who accepts Sam as she is and doesn't seem to mind her friendship with Danny and Tucker. I think it would have been nice if she appeared more and been a sort of mentor figure for the team.

Redandready45: Yeah.

Guest(1): I see your point.

Guest(2): Thank you :)

Epantoja521: Thank you :)

Darkness of enigma: Thank you :)

I understand that Vlad is a monster, but Danny doesn't want to sink to his level.

1) I'll consider it, thanks for the suggestion.

2) Sorry, no spoilers. I guess we will have to wait and see what happens.

3) It seems that Maurus doesn't want Mandie to marry Danny, but Milee is all for it.

Whirlwind saber: Yeah, and thanks :)
