'I'm a dumbass...'

Jaune lamented himself, passing his hands over his face while thinking about the last date he had. In a vacuum, everything related to the date had gone perfectly: he had gotten a high score, he talked to someone he was friendly with, and he had learned new things about a new world. Overall, anyone would call it a successful trip, both mentally and physically.

How in the world had he thought that Metatron was going to help him!?

The bastard was the reason he was there to start with; he was the reason he had to get high scores on his dates, and he was the reason his team hated him, for the most part.

And all because he decided to trust Raziel, he should have suspected him. He was probably laughing with Metatron about how stupid he was for thinking that everything was going to be okay. No, he couldn't think of Raziel; maybe he was tricked as well, thinking that he was actually going to help him just to be lied to.

"Keep it together, Arc." Jaune whispered to himself. "You are overthinking this, or maybe I am not thinking enough about it... No, stop it, you idiot!"

For a while, he just laid there, thinking about Raziel and the positives and negatives of him being good or evil. That was before another part of himself thought about something; it didn't matter at all whether he was good or evil.

He was still one of those beings! If he was evil, then he just needed to threaten Jaune once and everything would be over, but if he was good, then nothing would change because Metatron was going to keep him under his thumb, unable to do anything, and if he tried to do something, then the higher-ups could end up showing themselves, getting rid of him, and putting on someone who was actually evil!

'No matter what, I am going to lose, aren't I?' Jaune thought with a sad expression. He then felt something touching the side of his face. Something wet. "Mini Suu, you are the only one I can trust."

"What is a Mini Suu?" Someone asked behind Jaune.

Quick as lightning, Jaune took Mini Suu with one hand, put her behind his back, and then looked at Sun Wukong, smiling like a complete fool.

"Hey Suuun!" Jaune was greeted with the most artificial happiness possible. "What are you doing here? And shouldn't you knock on the door first before opening it?"

"I came here to pick up the ukelele I lent Ren; he told me that if the room was empty, I could just enter with this." Sun explained while showing a copy of the key to Jaune's room. "About not knocking the door, I did it like three times."

Crap. He needed to be more careful.

"I must be in the closet; we divided into four. Ren's section is the green one." Jaune said he was still refusing to show his back to Sun. The faunus simply looked at him with some caution before going to the closet.

As Sun looked through the closet for the ukelele and Jaune remained seated on the bed holding Mini Suu, the two of them fell into an uncomfortable silence. The only sounds in the room were those of things being moved and the springs on the bed suffering under the weight of Jaune.

"Did something happen between you and your team?" Sun asked all of a sudden.

"What are you talking about!?"

"So you'll try to play dumb." Sun whispered before raising his voice. "It's just that they seem to be a little off about you recently. They avoid you in conversations, not being around you; they almost seem to ignore you at times."

"...Yeah. It's just that I lied to them."

"It must have been a pretty awful lie, then."

"It was."

"Why didn't you tell them the truth then? I am sure that if you sat down and talked to them for a little while, you could solve all the problems you are having."

"I can't." Jaune said, putting a heavy emphasis on the word can't.

"Want me to talk to the teachers?" Sun asked, suddenly concerned and completely forgetting about the ukelele. "I don't even need to know what the business is; just say it to me, and I'll go as fast as possible to make them stop it."

"It's nothing."

"Dude, whenever I see you, it's like seeing a smoker in recovery. That little light that you had when we met is gone, and let me tell you something: it isn't good that that little flame is gone."

"Sun." Jaune said it a little firmer than before. "I really appreciate it, but even then, nothing bad has happened while at it. Even if you went, there is nothing that you could report to absolutely anyone."

"I could tell your team; they would believe it."

"After what I said to them? That's just a dream."

"I could say that saw you going out and followed you. Saw you being forced to do something and tell them that you weren't at fault for whatever you did, come on bro, I am sure that at the very leas that will offer some help."

"You would need very hard evidence about me being forced."

"Oum all mighty what kind of lie did you tell them...?"

"I... I don't really want to talk about it right now." Jaune said, looking to the side, unable to meet the concerned eyes of Sun. In his mind, he was undeserving of them; he really preferred the looks of resentment his team had given him through the entire week to the actual hope.

Sun stared at him for a few seconds. He looked around, thinking of something to convince Jaune to talk about the topic with his team. He, however, needed some time, so he walked towards Jaune smiled at him and patted his arm. "I am sure everything is going to be fine; they are going to understand."

'As long as I cannot talk about them, about this, they won't.' Jaune thought before smiling at Sun that he did not need to discourage his friend, so it really wasn't worth popping his bubble. "Thanks."

Sun kept smiling at him. He then moved away from the ukelele and left the room, leaving Jaune alone once again, or at least that would have been the case if he did not have a little friend in the palm of his hand. Literally.

"Sorry." Jaune apologized to Mini Suu, who had become a small ball to avoid being squeezed too hard. "Please don't be mad at me."

Mini Suu was, in fact, not mad at him. Something that she demonstrated by gently rubbing against Jaune's thumb, cooing as he patted her with circular motions.

This almost silent moment, this moment of peace, was something that Jaune could appreciate. No beings, no disappointed friends, no guilt—just him playing with Mini Suu as if nothing had happened. As if he had not been altered in some sort of way a few days ago.

Or at least that would have been the case if his scroll hadn't rang all of a sudden. The noise had been so loud that the two of them gave a sudden jump out of the scare it gave them.

Irritated Jaune pulled his scroll out of his pocket. Someone had just sent him a message—sadly, not the unknown number—but it was instead through the app Rent a Boyfriend.

'Come to the Bullhead.' It was followed by some other message that carried a little desperation. 'You have dates. Come quickly. Don't leave me alone with him. He's glaring at me.'

Jaune stared at the messages for a few seconds; he was uncaring of who 'he' was, but he decided to go to the docks as quickly as possible. "Sorry, girl, but I have to go to work." Mini Suu looked at him with worried eyes. "I'm going to be fine; tomorrow I will play with you. Promise."

He went to the drawers and left Mini Suu. As he closed them, a little smile started to wave goodbye at him. Still looking worried for her friend.

The quick walk from the room to the docks hadn't been bad at all; he hadn't encountered anything, and nothing had happened, so there wasn't really any reason to complain. He, however, found one when he boarded the Bullhead and found out that it wasn't just him and Gabriel, but someone else as well.

"What is he doing here?" Jaune snared at Gabriel, pointing at Metatron, who couldn't look the least interested in the boy who had just arrived.

"Feared this reaction would happen." Gabriel muttered, scratching his eyes, and then looked at Jaune with the most positive expression possible. "The date is going to happen in a special place. It is necessary for him to come to enter it, so he will come with us. Don't worry, I will try to make the travel as short as possible."

Jaune said nothing, but he did sit down. He already knew that complaining or trying to come up with an argument would be useless, so he didn't even make the effort to talk.

"Shouldn't you take your medicine?"

"No." Jaune said while crossing his arms and looking at Metatron with as much hate as he could. "If I am lucky, then I am going to puke all over him."

For the unfortunate sake of Jaune, he did not puke. He blamed Metatron. On the other hand, the travel continued like nothing; they did not change the shape of the Bullhead; there was no turbulence; and Metatron hadn't even attempted to insult him. He was just looking to the side, refusing to meet his rainbow eyes with Jaune's.

It wasn't until a few minutes of travel that Jaune started to notice the weird things happening. Colors seemed to disappear, gravity was going wack, new languages were being shoved into his brain, and he was sure that he had watched himself in at least ten different places.

Even his emotional state was a mess. He felt weirded out, calm, angry, sad, happy, and even like a villain. But he never felt like freaking out, because it was like there was something in the most primitive part of his brain taking hold of him and telling him to calm down and not do anything stupid.

Eventually the bullhead stopped, the backdoor opening, and they were in a void. There was nothing there—not a star nor a single voice—and even then, Jaune could feel something. Something so far away from him, something that was calling for him to go and witness it, and even then he knew that if he were to try that, he would die.

"So... what am I supposed to do here?" Jaune asked, looking deep into the void that seemed to be looking back. "Are we waiting for someone? Or should we call some- Ah!"

Out of nowhere, Metatron had suddenly picked up Jaune. It wasn't even a kind of picking up, but it was the type that you would expect a professional wrestler to pull off before making their finshing move. Jaune tried to escape by kicking and throwing elbows, but no matter what he did all of his punches and kicks seemed to do nothing more but phase right through Metatron.

"Remember when I said that there is something only he can do?" Gabriel asked with an ashamed tone of voice. "Well, he kind of needs to throw you into the void... I am sorry."

"I am not." Metatron said, and Jaune knew that the bastard was smiling while doing so.

"Both of you can go to hEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-" Jaune couldn't finish his curse being thrown to the absolute nothingness. He felt as if every athom separated from his body, how every single barrier around here was broken and how the world seemed to bend around him. "AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

For some reason he was sure this was end, this was the moment that everything and everyone would dissapear and all he could do was to shout his lungs out.

"Mate..."

He felt pathetic, he felt weak, he felt like this death was nothing but unfair. This was a pathetic way to go no matter how you spun the situation, being thrown by the person you hated. He wouldn't even swear this kind of destiny to his worst enemy... well his worst enemy had done this to him, so might as well pull the rug under him.

"Buddy."

And now he would never be able to say goodbye to anyone nor apologized. He should have followed Sun's tip. He was a terrible friend, teammate, student, son, hus-

"Please, stop shouting!"

The eyes of Jaune opened as he realized what was happenning. He had stopped, his never ending advance had come to a stop, by someone or something. And he had the sneaking suspicion that the cause had been the somone that just talked to him... so he might as well be grateful.

He lifted his head in order to thank the girl, maybe this was his d-

The secrets of the universe unveiled in front of him! The start, the end and everything in between the ever expanding branches in time that continued their grow by the infinite number of decisions that every single being took, from the smallest to the biggest, even the polinization of the trees could end up altering them, which resulted in the harvests of humanity, their trades allowing him to visit every single ever recorded civilization, all of which were dicatated by the scales of chaos and luck that were contained in the infinite ever expading ultraverse.

"Hhhhnnghhhhhh." The eyes of Jaune rolled back as he suffered an aneurysm. The information having flooded his brain to the point of collapse.

The five figures stared at the floating human and the small droplets of blood coming out of his nose in silence. Then, one of them decided to talk.

"I told you we should have wore our physical form." Fauna said to the rest of the council with teh smallest of frowns, showing she wasn't angry, but dissapointed.

Like I knew I said before that this chapter would be the mega-date and I would give you all the mega-date, but first I wanted to post this introduction alongside a few things about the next chapter(s), I wanted to ask you something. How would you all like to read it?

Because of the concept of the Council I will also be exploring the lore of this little universe I created in more detail. So I am going to give you all two options either I post six chapters each of them being 10,000 words long, one for every girl and then one for the five of them. Or I can write one big chapter that is 60,000 thousand words.

What do you want?

Thanks for reading! Bye Bye!

RAJ:P

Jaune did not know how long he had been on the ground but he knew it had been a long time. The snow under him had started to burn his skin, the cold air in his lungs had started to make them hurt and make his eyes sting in pain. Worse of all was the fact that he did not know where he was, all he could do was lie down on the cold while various different light illuminated everything around him.

"Wakie, wakie."

Jaune managed to summon enough strength to turn around, and the moment he saw who was the one, who had called for him, he extended his hand in an attempt to crush him.

"Oh come on Jaune, don't you remember the deal?" He asked before letting down a big sack on the ground, after hitting the ground the sack moved a little. "Because I did. Come check it out."

Hesitantly Jaune started to move towards the sack, in no moment looking away from the man. Blindly he started to remove the bag and once broken he turned to look at what he had given him, the moment his eyes connected with his he felt a sudden rush of disgust and bilis rush through his throat, he immediately looked away and started to struggle in trying to control his heaves.

"Sorry about the less of presentable state. He did not want to go without giving a fight, and a fight I gave him." He said letting out a malicious giggle as Jaune looked at him with disgust. "Well anyway have a good life Jaune, though I don't think if It is going to be a very long one."

As the man picked the sack back up on his shoulder Jaune realized where he was.

The dozen of lights that illuminated everything around him, the usually green trees that were now bare naked due to the cold of winter and that famous fountain where everything had started.

He was back in Beacon.

-.-.-.-.-.-.-

As he advanced through the hallways, everything seemed to be familiar and not at the same time, the same portraits, the same walls and yet, there was something that made it different. Something akin to a small splatter of pain on portrait, or a funny smell in place that shouldn't have it.

It wasn't until someone greeted him in a friendly manner that he realized what was that thing.

"Hey, Jaune." "How are you doing Arc?" "Hey are you okay?" "Good night."

For every friendly greeting he was receiving, he was advancing faster and faster, attempting to escape the voices around him. He had been in this situation before and he knew that this bunch of attention would only serve to attract them, those filthy glory hounds that liked to prey in the business of everyone in an attempt to make themselves bigger.

After a few seconds of almost running, he had finally reached it, his dorm room. He started deep at it for a few seconds wondering with anger if any of them would be there, but his wait would have been his biggest mistake of the day.

"Jaune?" The moment the voice of Ruby Rose reached his ears his entire body froze in place. "I knew it was you! You could recognize that hoodie everywhere. Pyrrha said that you did not join them in the extra practice because of your foot or something, how are you feeling?"

"Fine."

"Awesome! I knocked on your door a bit earlier but you weren't there, where did you go?"

"To the kitchen."

"Oh… That sounds nice." Ruby said every moment Jaune had to listen to her voice was a moment in which he greeted his teeth together. "My team and me are going to have videogame tournament want to join? I don't that Weiss would take it as seriously and I wanted to make sure that we had an extra in c-"

"Good night."

Jaune quickly opened the door and entered the room leaving the young girl in the middle of her sentence.

After entering and closing the door, Jaune started to inspect the room. It was the same as his, the same mess on his and Nora's beds while the beds of Pyrrha and Ren were so clean you could have sworn that they had never used before.

Just when he was about to approach some of the portraits on the shelves he heard a knock on the door.

"Jaune. Did I do something?" Ruby asked with a saddened voice, if Jaune had to give his opinion, she was pretending to care about him, worrying about his current indifference. "We almost always speak outside of the room, you know. It is our secret leader reunions."

Jaune contemplated for a few seconds if he should not answer maybe then the girl would drop the pretend of her caring about him and go back to her room, but he decided to amuse her for a second even if that made his blood boil, after all he did not want to drop his façade just yet.

"I'm just tired Ruby." Jaune said with a fake voice of care. "We can talk again in the morning; we can even go to that dessert store. How does that sound?"

"…Okay." The girl said with hesitation. "Good night Jaune."

After Jaune heard the door on the opposite side of the hallway close, he looked at his hand. He had been clawing at the drawer besides him for so long that he had almost managed to destroy his nails. However he did not care about it one bit.

'They haven't showed his true colors yet.' Jaune thought while smile formed on his face. 'Good, I have some time then. This time it isn't going to me the one humiliated and hurt.'

-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-

"Now what do I do with you?" He said squatting besides the sack. "Not because I lack any idea, it is just that I have so many that it is difficult to think of one that is good enough."

Deep blue eyes sunken in a red ocean started at that single golden eye with terror. One that only grew once he started to laugh, his howls of amusement being lost into the darkness of the night.
