Chapter 7: Outcast Antics

"Izuku. You are my best friend. My most precious person, so would you please explain to me why you have a faceless man tied to the flagpole!" Hitoshi shouted in disbelief.

"He tried to hurt Miss Jelavich!" Izuku shouted back. "And he has this weird thing with flowers."

"Do you have any idea who I am!?" the man yelled. "I'm the Reaper, you impudent punks!"

"Do you think we care?" Ituna joined the conversation.

"Awww, Hawks, did you hear him? The brats care about me! I bet they care about me more than you, Chicken Legs," Jelavich teased.

"I like Hawks more," Izuku stated bluntly.

"No offense Jelavich, but I agree," Hitoshi added.

"Ugh! You brats!" Jelavich hissed. Hawks and Jelavich teased each other briefly before Koro Sensei came to check on them.

"Hello, lovely coworkers and students!" the octopus teacher greeted. "What's going on… WHEN DID HE GET HERE!?"

"Hello, Koro Sensei! I tied him up because he threatened Miss Jelavich, but now I have no idea what to do with him," Izuku said with a chipper tone entirely inappropriate for his statement.

Koro Sensei was speechless at the sight of the man tied to the flagpole. "He was my apprentice…" The teacher went into a longwinded backstory about his history as the most feared assassin, the Reaper, and how he failed Reaper 2.0 as a mentor. He also went into detail about his love, whose life was tragically cut short. …and now they felt bad about the whole assassination thing.

"We are not going to be a part of this," Hitoshi stated. "If we picked a side, there would be a clear disadvantage. You lost the right to our help when you shunned us. Leave us out of your little civil war."

Ituna nodded in agreement.

"Hmm… ya… Hitoshi makes a point. You only started to ask for our help after we saved your butts." Izuku narrowed his eyes before placing a crooked grin on his face. "You know what? Whichever side wins, we'll help with one plan."

…and that's how the Outcasts ended up sneaking two of their classmates onto a rocket headed to the International Space Station. Izuku infiltrated the control room and planted a flash drive of Ritzu software. Ritzu hacked into the entire operation's systems to guide the rocket and disengage the security systems. Ituna made the flash drive and the hardware required to secure the unmanned rocket, and Hitoshi escorted the other two students.

The space station didn't have to find a way to save their teacher from his inevitable fate, but the students returned in one piece. No matter what the class did, none of them made progress in finding a solution. They even looked into the yakuza. There were rumors of a girl with the perfect quirk for their predicament, but they didn't have any proof of this child's existence, let alone enough to justify storming a yakuza base. The outcome looked hopeless.
