Chapter Four.
While Kaya was sound asleep with her wand was placed up her left arm sleeve just in case any one would come to her and attack at point blank, Quincy came back in to the lab. He was coming back from a few places, asking questions about James Carlton and how he died. But with no luck. And the only one thing that both Quincy and Sam did not know about Carlton was that James was indeed a wizard. They did not see his wand any where in sight, but it was with in his clothes, so they placed his personal belongings in a bag for the Aurors to take back for Albus.
Sam walked in to the lab after an hour's lunch after the doctor came back and he continued with the tests from the other bodies with the cause of death and how they died. Quincy walked in to the room where the witch was in and the doctor stopped frozen in his tracks. He looked down at her sleeping form and his eyes were wide as saucers. Even though, Quincy recognized her when she was in Asten's office earlier when she was with the two other men, talking about taking Carlton's body with them.
Fujiama walked in to the other room where the witch and his friend were in and he also saw Kaya, who was lying on the couch, sleeping soundly. He also stopped himself in his tracks. He was wondering. "Uh, Quince, who is this woman sleeping on the sofa? Do you know her?" He asked the doctor in curiosity about this person with very unique hair colors.
Quincy looked up from O'Brien to his friend. "I don't know who she is, Sam, but I saw her with the two other men in Asten's office earlier about James Carlton's body." The doctor said. He sighed softly when he looked back down at her when he lifted his hand and he caressed her hair. 'How in the world did you get her hair with all of these colors in there?' Quincy asked himself that very good question. He wanted to know more all about her and where she came from. He felt that he was drawn to her.
Sam was also amazed about this woman with all the hair colors she had on her as he watched his friend being very fascinated with the witch's hair colors and her unique golden yellow eye color all up until Kaya felt Quincy's fingers combing through her hair. She smiled as she raised her eye brows up with her eyes were still closed and she slowly opened her eyes. Sam smiled at his friend before he walked out of the room for the moment. The doctor chose to stay in the room with her as he rested his elbows on his knees when O'Brien woke up.
Kaya fully opened her eyes and the first person she saw was Dr. Quincy himself. "Oh, you must be the doctor I saw earlier in Dr. Asten's office." She said before she pulled her blanket back before she sat up on the couch, turning her body around towards Quincy when she was placing her feet on the floor and she was facing the doctor and Sam walked back in to the room.
Quincy chuckled and softly laughed with the nod of his head. "Yes I am, ma' am." He said. O'Brien smiled at this. "If you don't mind me asking, Ma' am, what's your name and how in the world did you get in here? And how did you get the hair colors like that?" He asked her with curiosity. He needed to know about her.
Kaya chuckled when she gave him a soft smile. "My name is Kaya O'Brien, doctor...?" She asked him for his name with her furrowed eye brows in question.
Sam lowered his head as he smiled and chuckled. Quincy raised his eye brows and he grinned. "Oh, my name is Dr. Quincy, Miss O'Brien." He introduced himself with a soft laugh and a chuckle. He turned around and he gestured his hand towards Fujiama. "And this is my lab tech and my friend, Sam Fujiama." He said to her. Sam greeted her back. "If you don't mind me asking. What are you doing here?" He asked her with wonder.
O'Brien gave him a small tender smile. "I was hoping to work with you to investigate the death of James Carlton. And find these people, who had done this." She said. Kaya hoped that the doctor would let her help him. But even though, she had a pretty good idea that it was the dark wizards and witches who murdered Carlton instantly with the killing curse.
Sam raised his eye brows and he some how he had a feeling that his friend would have her help them both to find the cause of death. Dr. Quincy stared at her in the eyes with total interest. "I'm more than glad for you to help me find out what killed Mr. Carlton." He said and he paused for the moment. "I have a curious question for you." He asked her.
O'Brien waited patiently and Fujiama was wondering what the question Quincy was about to ask. "What are you exactly?" He asked. Kaya grinned from ear to ear at his question. Sam was wondering the same thing about her. The doctor knew that grin on her face that she knew that question very well. Quincy chuckled. "The reason why I asked you that question is because of your hair colors and your unique eye colors that you show. I can tell that you're very special." He said and Fujiama agreed with his friend right there. The doctor gave a very good compliment.
O'Brien nodded her head yes and she looked straight in to Quincy's eyes. "You would never believe me when I tell you what I am, Dr. Quincy." She told them when both the doctor and Sam watched her as she took out her wand and she glanced over to where Sam was in the door way. Quincy's eyes widened as saucers when he saw her wand in her hand. He had it all figured out some how. "Mr. Fujiama, can you step in here, please?" She asked him.
They both looked at her with wonder about what she meant by that. Fujiama then slowly walked in to the room further and just then, Kaya waved her wand to shut the door wandlessly. Sam was pretty amazed at what he saw. Quincy saw this whole thing unravel. "Are you what I think you are, Miss O'Brien?" The doctor asked her softly.
Kaya grinned and she nodded yes. "I am indeed a witch from Hogwarts, Dr. Quincy and Mr. Fujiama." She said truthfully to them. Quincy and Sam asked her what is Hogwarts. "Oh, Hogwarts is a school of witchcraft and wizardry in the Scottish Highlands." She said. The doctor and Fujiama wanted to know more of her. They were really interested in her use of magic. Wait until Asten's look on his face when he sees this about Kaya O'Brien's magic when Quincy tells him.
