Izuku sighed as he set a pair of sunglasses over his silver eyes.
"Why do you want to hide them dear?" The lady at the store had asked. "They clash just the right way with you beautiful green hair."
"I-It's light sensitivity." Izuku lied with a smile. "Just need a cheap pair since my own broke."
"Oh fine." She said jokingly handing him the last bag he had bought.
The bag had a single change of clothes. As well as the cheapest jacket he could find.
He smiled at the woman one last time before walking out of the shop.
He had done a single search quest which had taken him about an hour with a rewards of eighty Lien.
More than enough to get a change of clothes.
Having changed into his new clothes and throwing the old pajamas away Izuku made his way back to the ramen shop.
Mr. Keno was there and looked at him.
"Hungry again?" He asked with a sigh.
"No." Izuku said. "W-Well yeah b-but..." He pulled out ten Lien. "T-There was this old man who lost his c-cat. I-I found it and he gave me a little reward f-for finding her. D-Does t-that cover the b-bowl You m-made me s-sir?"
"Plenty." The man said swiping up the Lien. "In fact..." He went to the back. He came out with a large steaming bowl of ramen. Not like the ramen from earlier but it was loaded with noodles and meat and veggies. "This one's on the house."
"H-Huh?!" Izuku asked confused. "Why?"
"Cause kid." The man said. "This pink and brown haired girl told me... well she typed to me. I think the poor girl was mute. To give you the biggest bowl and she payed for it."
"W-What!?" Izuku asked.
"Yep." Keno said.
'N-Neapolitan!?' Izuku asked. 'D-Did she see my silver eyes?! Is she here to kill me?! She's gonna stab me isn't she!? Right with her adorable pink umbrella!' Izuku's eyes widened and he looked around.
"You okay kid?" Keno asked.
Izuku gulped. "Y-Yeah..." He said. "I-It's j-just no one's done nice stuff for me b-before... I-I think I like Vale."
The man gave a heart felt laugh.
"Yeah you get the weirdest people here." Keno said. "Go on and eat. She gave me enough for a take out dish as well."
'What is this about!?' Izuku asked himself confused.
He grabbed the ramen and... He would blush at the owner telling of him digging in like there was no tomorrow.
He burped after he drank the last of the broth.
"T-Thank you Mr. Keno." Izuku said with a sigh.
"No problem kid." Keno said. "By the way. Whats up with the sun glasses?"
"I-I um..." 'He already knows that I have silver eyes. "C-Can you b-be sure to not tell anyone that I have silver eyes Mr. Keno?" Izuku asked. "It's um... a rare hereditary trait."
"Well I'll be sure to not tell anyone." The man said. "But that multi hair girl knows. It was the main reason I knew she was talking about you."
Izuku's face paled.
'She knows.' Izuku thought to himself. 'I'm gonna be killed.'
"Hey kid is there something wrong with that girl?" He asked.
"N-No no!" Izuku said. "I-It's nothing!"
The man sighed and shrugged his shoulders. Walking to the back he came out holding a take out box. "Be careful out there kid."
"I-It's Izuku, sir." Izuku said. "A-And I-I'll try to be."
"Alright Izuku." The man said.
Izuku smiled and waved to the man before walking out the small stall.
Izuku was stumbling as he walked. His nerves so on edge he flinched at every movement.
"System am I being followed?" Izuku asked aloud.
"I can not detect, Master." His system said. "You unlock that at level ten."
"D-Dammit!" Izuku muttered. "H-How much time till the Plot starts?"
"Four hours." His system reported.
Izuku bit his lip.
Was he being followed by Neo?
He turned and looked behind himself.
His eyes landed on a person about a half block away. There hair was black so Izuku dismissed them.
'Doesn't matter if shes there or not!' Izuku told himself. 'She could be using her semblance and be walking literally right beside me and I wouldn't know unless she wanted me to!'
Izuku shuddered at the thought.
His eyes widened again.
'I've been talking to the system this whole time has she heard me?!'
He turned a corner and started to run as fast as he could.
Which considering his extremely low agility wasn't fast.
How come he hadn't even leveled up yet?
His batting feet allowed him to get into the closest alley.
Soon enough he was holding his breath.

'After I did the running huh?!' Izuku asked himself. 'I'll assign points later. After I make sure Psycho Mc. Frosty isn't actually after me.'
He ran through the alley and popped out behind where that black haired girl from earlier was.
She was over a half block away when he started running. He should see her!?
'Is she using her semblance to turn into that girl!?' Izuku asked.
He felt someone poke his shoulder.
Turning around Izuku will admit he gave an unmanly screech as he came face to face with the psycho.
He fell to the ground and tried backing up.
'She's gonna kill me!' Izuku thought in fear. 'One slice with her umbrella is all it's gonna take!'
Izuku was surprised though when she held her hand out to him.
'Let me help you.' She probably wanted to say.
Gulping, Izuku grabbed her hand and hoisted himself up.
Neo waved at him and he gulped nervously.
"H-Hello." Izuku answered.
There was a chance she wasn't going to kill him just yet. Hell since Izuku's here she might not even be relevant to the plot anymore!
She smiled and pulled out her scroll.
She showed him.
"Did you get the Ramen from that man?" She had asked.
Izuku's eyes widened and he nodded. "Y-Yes I did... T-Thank you very much miss..."
She went to typing again before showing him.
"Neapolitan. But you can call me Neo."
"T-Thank you N-Neo." Izuku said. 'There. Now I wont slip up with her name.' "T-That was very kind o-of you." 'She's so cute up cl- OH MY GOD STOP IT STOP IT!' A blush filled his face. "I-I hadn't eaten much."
She smiled cutely.
"H-Here!" Izuku said frantically nearly forgetting his manners. "H-How much did you spend?! I-I wouldn't wa-" Neo shut him up by shaking her head frantically.
She started typing furiously fast.
"Its fine! Roman said we should help you out! He was worried you'd die."
"R-Roman?!" Izuku asked taking a shaky step back. "Y-You're with him?!" 'It's actually surprising since I thought they got together after cannon started.'
She nodded happily.
'How do I get out of this conversation!?' Izuku asked.
She held up her scroll again.
"Yeah! Don't worry though you aren't in any danger. We just wanted to make sure you were okay. Sorry for the shock Mr?"
"I-Izuku!" Izuku said suddenly. "I-I should have introduced myself when you did! I-I'm so sorry! I-It's Izuku... but most people home call me Deku."
She tilted her head.
"As in useless."
"Y-Yeah." Izuku said. "I-I don't have my aura yet you see." He chuckled sheepishly. "I-I'm from Vacuo though so It's a pretty normal occurrence."
She smiled and nodded.
After a few seconds of typing she held up her phone again.
"I'm sorry about that." She said. "Anyways. Sorry but I have to go find Roman. We have to do something pretty soon. Nice meeting you Izuku!"
"N-Nice t-to meet you as well Neo." Izuku said. He flinched when she shattered like glass. "S-She's gone!?"
He shook for a few minutes before taking a shaky breath.
He fell to the ground.
"I just talked to Neo... And I'm not dead..." Izuku started to chuckle. "S-System bring up menu."
"Yes sir." His AI Said.
Level up available.
"Level up." Izuku said.
He instantly felt like he had gotten a ten hour nap and a cup of espresso coffee.
"You leveled up. You Hp, Stamina, and Mp Have been fully restored." His system said. "You have thirty basic attribute points to spend."
"T-Thirty?" Izuku asked confused.
"As you haven't used your perk earned attribute points the ten attribute points were added onto the twenty."
"So I could have spent some of those earlier huh?" Izuku asked with a sigh. "Alright... I assume wisdom will increase my aura and Intelligence will increase my magic right?"
"Correct."
"Alright." Izuku said. "Five points to wisdom, Ten to Vitality, Ten to strength and five to luck."
"One moment." His system said.
Suddenly Izuku felt stronger and even healthier than before.

He only had about three and a half hours till cannon started.
Time to quest grind.
Izuku giggled to himself as he sat on the roof.

"How long until Cannon starts?" Izuku asked.
"Approximately fifteen minutes." His system said.
Izuku looked over the roof of the building that Roman would escape to.
He sighed as he climbed down the ladder.
As soon as he hit street level he saw a girl walk into the store Dust to Dawn.
A very familiar girl with a mechanical scythe and a red hood.
'T-That's...' Izuku said in a fan-boyish tone.'O-Okay calm down! J-Just breathe... In out... yeah.'
He checked his lien.
Four-hundred and eighty-two Lien. Enough to buy a bad knife he guessed.
He pulled out the Rusty knife he got from the tree quest.

This little thing might have seen better days but its still just as eager to draw some blood!
Izuku shivered at the description.
Maybe it wouldn't be so bad?
After a few minutes of stalling he walked into the dust store.
"W-Welcome." An old man said shakily.
"H-Hello sir!" Izuku said.
Slowly he walked into an isle at random.
'Of course she's in this isle!' Izuku chided himself as he watched the oblivious girl wearing headphones to loud for her own good.
Seeing that she was reading the weapons magazine from the show Izuku took a shaky breath and tapped on her shoulder.
"Hmm?" She turned and pulled off her headphones. "Oh Hello!"
"H-Hi." Izuku said embarrassed. "Y-You're in f-front of the weapon m-magazines."
"Oh my gosh I'm so sorry here!" Ruby said way to fast as she handed him the newest volume. "I just love their newest scope model!"
"R-Really?" Izuku asked as he opened the magazine. It didn't take him long before he found the one she was talking about. "T-That's really a c-compact d-design."
"I know right?!" She gushed. "It's modeled for a high zoom capability!"
"H-How far does it reach?" Izuku shakily asked.
"Fifty time zoom!" She said giddily.
"I-It's nice t-to meet you." Izuku stuttered out. "I-I'm I-Izuku."
"I'm Ruby!" Rub said. "It's super nice to meet you as well!"
'She said it was nice to meet me!' Izuku fanboyed in his head. "I-Is it r-rude to a-ask if y-you're t-trying to b-be a huntress?" Izuku asked.
"Not at all!" Ruby said. "I totally am! Are you?!"
"U-Um..." 'Think carefully how you answer this. We know what could happen.' "Y-Yeah totally!" Izuku smiled. "I-I'm not that strong yet though."
"Oh?" She seemed confused. "Why not?"
"I-I don't even have my aura activated yet." Izuku embarrassingly said.
"Oh..." She seemed sad at that. "My uncle Qrow knows that little speech thingy that activates it but I don't."
"I-It's fine!" Izuku said. "I-I'll figure it out myself!"
Ding.
Ruby and Izuku didn't pay much attention to the bell as they talked.
"Alright you two hands in the air!" Some one said as they pointed the barrel of a gun at Izuku neck.
Izuku's eyes widened.
Slowly Izuku raised his hands into the air.
Ruby's eyes were open in abject terror.
"I-Izuku..." She said.
'Why isn't she fighting them!? Where's the iconic 'Are you robbing me?' line!?' Izuku looked at the fear in her eyes.
She knew exactly what that gun would do to him if she tried to move.
'D-Do I... Have to help her?' Izuku asked himself. Turning around he faced the man whose gun was now on my forehead. "A-Are you... robbing me?"
"Why- Yes!" The thug said lifting his gun up in exasperation.
It was all the time Izuku need.
With all of his strength hew twisted and kicked his foot into the mans chest.
He didn't exactly go as far as when Ruby hit him but eh.
Ruby's eyes hardened.
She pulled out the large mechanical scythe.
"Whoa!?" Izuku fanboyed. "That's so cool!"
Ruby shot forward and Izuku couldn't help but stare in awe.
The way she moved her scythe and used it for momentum.
He watched the fight scene unravel as Ruby defeated thug after thug.
It was bad fucking ass!
"Sorry bout this green!" He heard before an arm wrapped around his throat.
"UGH!" He growled out as his oxygen was nearly cut off. "A-Agh! R-Ruby... H-Help!"
"Izuku!" Ruby said as she was about to sprint over.
"Uh uh uh!" Roman said. "Not so fast red! Another step and I'll scatter his grey matter on the ground!" He looked at the goon Izuku had kicked. "Get up you lazy ass! Get the dust!"
The man sighed and stood up much to Izuku's shock.
Izuku thrashed in Romans arms as he noticed the red haired girl setting down her weapon.
'NO! She wont get into Beacon if she can't fight them!' Izuku's head fell forward limply.
"Izuku!" She cried out.
Oxygen depletion.
Death immanent.
Aura unlocked.
A dark emerald glow started to form around Izuku.
"RAH!" Izuku roared as he slammed his aura covered head backwards into Romans nose.
He heard a satisfying crunch.
He was shoved away.
'What's my stats?!' He asked in his mind. He didn't expect it to show up though.

In an effort to Save you completely not a crush since you started watching crush you nearly died! Which unlocked your aura! As long as you focus on having your aura up hits to you will deal 1/5th of their original damage. 2/5ths of the damage will attack your Aura gauge! By no means are you a god yet. But your path to becoming one just got a hell of a lot easier.
This also doubles all fighting status's.
Izuku smirked at Roman.
"W-What the hell kid?!" Roman asked. "I thought you didn't have an aura!?"
"I-I didn't." Izuku said. "But... I couldn't sit there and let someone watch me die!"
Roman clicked his tongue.
'Two of us have aura now Roman.' Izuku thought. 'Leave while you can.'
"This just got a bit more difficult." Roman muttered. "Grab the dust and lets go." He held his cane to the ground and shot off a round.
The grunt grabbed a case as Izuku and Ruby were coughing before running after Roman.
Ruby was the first to recover and she grabbed Izuku by the arm.
"W-We have to follow them!" She said and Izuku nodded.
Unnoticed to him as they ran his sunglasses fell off of his face.
Shakily Izuku climbed up the ladder after Ruby's rose petals.
As he did he pulled out his rusty knife.
He got to the roof he was on mere minutes ago and ran to Ruby's side.
"Well Red! Green!" Roman said as he and the grunt stood at the edge of the building. "This is where we part ways!"
Roman eyed Izuku.
"I'll be sure to keep an eye out for the two of you!" As he said that Izuku and Ruby were pushed back from the force of the airship that rose from the bottom of the building.
Roman tipped his hat to them before jumping onto the ship with the grunt.
He pulled out a red dust crystal and chucked it out before aiming his cane.
Izuku couldn't see Glynda Goodwitch anywhere!
Grabbing Ruby's arm he pulled her back and covered her with himself.
Boom!
Izuku winced waiting for the explosion.

Izuku opened his eyes and saw the famous huntress holding her wand. Panting and out of breath.
'She barely made it.'
"We've got a huntress!" Roman said.
A woman walked into view on the air ship.
Fire started to swarm around the air ship before spikes of glass started to shoot at everyone.
Glynda playing it safe focused on defending the three of them.
A large green shield was surrounding them.
Izuku shivered as he saw the skill used.
The air ship flew away as fast as it could as glass continued to hurtle itself towards them.
After it was to far away for either of the sides attacks to reach Glynda took down the shield.
Ruby looked at the woman in awe.
"Y-You're a huntress!" Ruby exclaimed in excitement. "Can I have your autograph."
"Aura fully depleted." Izuku heard as the world started to spin. "Shutting down to recharge."
Izuku felt nothing as he collapsed.
"Izuku?!" Was the last thing he heard.
'Oh... damn.' Was his last thought.
"System rebooting." Izuku heard. "Aura has been fully charged. No battles are being fought nearby."
"When will he wake up?"
"It should be soon."
"Diagnostics complete." He heard again. "Waking Master in 3... 2... 1..."
Izuku gasped in air as he sat up.
He glanced around quickly.
He was in a room with multiple people.
"Izuku you're awake!" He heard. Turning to his left he saw Ruby sitting in a chair. "I thought she was crazy when she didn't take you to a hospital and said you only needed rest! But I guess she wasn't wrong!"
"W-What's going on?" He asked. "Where... Where are we?"
"Don't worry." He heard a calming voice say. Turning Izuku's eyes widened as his eyes landed on.
"O-Ozpin." He said and he gulped. 'Oh crap.'
