Izuku's body sat up, his limbs tangled in the sweat-soaked sheets of his bed, his arms reached out in desperation at nothing.
As his senses came back to him, Izuku's hands shook as he clutched at his chest, his eyes still filled with the images of Katsuki being consumed by his darkness.
Katsuki's cries still filled his ears and yet Izuku had done nothing but hold him tighter in his dreams, dragging him down further into the depth of his own hell.
"It was a dream, Izuku."
Ice pumped through his veins as he shivered in place and he tried to even out his breathing. Blood rushed in his ears, making him hyper aware as he tried to settle back into his own skin. He looked around his room, trying to name out three things he could see.
"Come on, Izuku…..I see my clothes from yesterday on the floor… my..my cigarettes on the dresser… and…. my wallet next to it."
Izuku took a breath, his lungs opening as he went through his steps.
"I hear traffic outside… my voice…. fuck."
Izuku sighed as he covered his face with his hands, trying to focus.
"I hear my neighbor upstairs."
His body relaxed further as he curled his fingers slowly, before stretching his legs out, feeling the strain in his calves. Finally, Izuku stood up and stretched his whole body as the terrors of his dream faded to the background of his thoughts.
This had been ongoing since Izuku last saw Katsuki a few days ago.
Keeping himself distracted, Izuku decided it was time to wake up for the day and he went about his routine of a light workout, showering and trying to pick out another set of baggy clothes. He remembered to cover the scar on his cheek as usual.
Even if the regulars had gotten used to his presence in the cafe, Izuku wasn't sure if they would react well to his scars, so he kept them covered for now.
His alarm went off, jump starting his senses again, but he calmed just as quickly as he went to turn it off. He dialed the familiar number, his lips curving into a soft smile as he waited.
"Good morning, daddy."
Eri's tired voice came through the speaker on his phone, and Izuku chuckled as she did her best to sound awake.
"Hey sweetie, you getting ready for school?" Izuku asked.
His voice was still shaky from earlier, and he cursed under his breath when Eri picked up on.
"What's wrong?" She asked.
"What do you mean? Nothings wrong." Izuku reassured.
"Daddy, you're a terrible liar, you know." Eri chided.
Izuku sighed. Eri could always pick up on the slightest thing, that he didn't know why he even bothered hiding anything from the clever girl.
"I'm just feeling guilty and I had a bad dream." Izuku said.
"Why?" Eri asked.
Her question was simple enough, but Izuku wasn't sure how to even explain the complicated encounter with Katsuki. He had regretted the whole thing seconds after the blonde had left, but Izuku had panicked.
"I was mean to an old friend." Izuku admitted.
Eri sighed as if she was the parent dealing with her child's misdeeds.
"Apologize to your friend, daddy." Eri said.
Izuku says nothing in return. He couldn't bring himself to promise something he couldn't do. Izuku imagine the little girl, hands on her hips as she frowned up at him for being mean. Izuku closed his eyes, wishing Eri was with him now.
"Do you need me to scare the monsters away?" Eri asked.
Izuku smiled.
"Would you?" Izuku asked.
Eri hummed her voice light, but determined as she sang about sending daddy's scary monsters away so he could sleep. Izuku could imagine her light pats on his head as she sang the same as she used to when they were together. Izuku always had trouble sleeping, but the only person who had ever kept the night terrors away was Eri, so to this day, she had taken her role as protector of her daddy's dreams seriously.
"All better?" Eri asked.
Izuku chuckled, his head light and his heart warm and content as he held the phone tight to his ear.
"All better. I'm sure I'll have pleasant dreams tonight." Izuku said.
"Good."
When Ochako reminded her they needed to leave for school, Izuku and Eri said their goodbyes, but not before Eri ended her call the same way she does every time.
"You're a good person and I'm proud of you, daddy." Eri says.
Izuku's eyes teared up like they always did, because it's Eri and her words were a salve to his dark soul. A hope that he clung to for dear life.
"Until next time, have a good day at school, Eri." Izuku said.
When they hang up, Izuku was thankful that she didn't ask when she would see him again. She never does, which Izuku has always been grateful for. He knew it wasn't because she didn't want to see him. Izuku never doubted Eri's love and want to see him, but his daughter was just too understanding of everything.
Izuku headed to work feeling much better than he had woken up, but his scheduled call with Eri always put him in a good mood, so when he reached to the cafe for the day his steps were lighter as he smiled at his boss and greeted the customers.
By midday, Izuku felt that today was going to be a good day until he came back from his smoke break and came face to face with Katsuki sitting there at the table.
It was slow in the cafe, so Katsuki was only one of a handful of people. He was alone, though, and while his boss tended the counter, Izuku went through the motions of going to his table to do his job.
"Welcome. Is there anything I can get you?" Izuku asked.
His boss kept a watchful eye on them, so Izuku did his best to sound sincere as he forced a smile on his face and kept things civil between them. It sounded stiff and awkward, but he did his best.
"What, no fuck off this time?" Katsuki said.
"I'm at work Katsuki, is there anything I can get you?" Izuku tried again.
Katsuki glared at his brush off, but did a glance at the menu in front of him before ordering two lattes.
"Is you partner meeting you here?" Izuku asked.
"You're great at switching the asshole act on and off at will, huh." Katsuki said.
Izuku flinched, but was doing his best to stay on topic.
"Please Katsuki, I'm at work."
"You better believe this isn't over between us." Katsuki said.
Izuku's earlier anxiety spiked right back up. Eri's call could no longer keep his darkness at bay, but there was a warmth in his chest too at his words. Izuku wasn't ready to analyze what that could mean.
"Can't you just let it go and stop being so clingy?" Izuku said.
Katsuki's brows furrowed low as he glared up at Izuku, his mouth opening to snap back when he became distracted by something behind him.
"Get lost. Lucky for you, I'm not here to deal with this today." Katsuki said.
Before Izuku could say anything in return, Katsuki stood up and moved around him to greet a girl that had entered the coffee shop.
She looked rather young as the two returned to their table and Izuku left back behind the counter to get started on the lattes.
He looked over at the two. She didn't look underage, but Izuku couldn't see Katsuki going for anyone that young, so he marked out the idea of a girlfriend.
Izuku's fingers clenched around the cup at the thought of any girlfriend, almost spilling the contents of the drink before he loosened his grip to pour it into the plastic cup.
When Izuku dropped their orders off, Katsuki said nothing to him or even acknowledged him. He pulled out a twenty from his wallet, handing it to Izuku without a glance his way.
"Just keep the change." Katsuki said.
The surrounding atmosphere told Izuku not to make a fuss and so he nodded, taking the money and walking away. Their faces were somber as they talked in a hushed tone. The girl fidgeted in her seat, never bothering to take a sip of the drink in front of her.
Maybe she was involved with one of his cases. He couldn't hear anything between them, but he saw Katsuki jotting things into a small notepad while the girl looked rather teary-eyed. When they stood up, Katsuki shook her hand and Izuku made out that he was thanking her for something as the girl nodded in return.
The chances that she was part of some case went up in percentage.
"Izuku, dear, can you sweep the floors?" His boss asked.
"Sure! No problem."
Izuku used the excuse of sweeping to move his way closer to Katsuki's table, where the man still sat after the girl left.
The blonde didn't notice him as his intense eyes seemed to focus on rereading what he wrote. He pulled out his phone at some point, calling someone, and Izuku guessed it was his partner.
"Hey, just finished talking to the girl." Katsuki said.
Izuku paused in his sweeping behind him, his curiosity piqued that he couldn't help but listen.
"We were right. Emiko had gone with her to the clubs a few times before they killed her." Katsuki said.
Izuku looked up, surprised at the girl's name. He had thought they had solved that case.
"They seemed to visit the same club…. umm, it had a stupid name…."
Izuku could hear him flipping through his notes as he searched for the club's name. His hands clenched around the pole of the broom as Izuku unconsciously leaned forward to hear.
"Poppy." Katsuki said.
Red flags went up for Izuku, as he was well aware of the place Katsuki was talking about. If Emiko had been frequenting that club, then it was possible there was more going on and Katsuki was walking straight into the middle of it.
"Invite the others. We'll switch our reunion to Poppy and that will give me a chance to look the place over, see if anything stands out." Katsuki said.
Katsuki got up and as he grabbed his things, he agreed to meet with everyone tonight before heading out the door.
He never turned to look at Izuku as he went.
Izuku went back to his sweeping, even as his thoughts ran wild with what this could mean. Poppy was a feeding ground for the outer circles and if he had a say, he'd prefer Katsuki and his friends stayed as far away from the place as possible, but he didn't have a say and he reminded himself that it wasn't his business as he went back to finish his shift keeping all thoughts of Katsuki out.
He made it through the rest of the day and could even pick up dinner and make it home with little fuss from his thoughts.
As he went through his nightly routine of getting out of the day's clothes and taking a long, hot shower, Izuku was feeling rather content. As he stepped out of his bathroom, steam billowing out into the room, Izuku went to look for the remote of his small tv when he ran into his floor table. He knocked over the scrapbook and though most of it was intact, a familiar ripped newspaper clipping fell out of the pages and fluttered onto the floor in front of Izuku.
Katsuki's frowning face stared up at Izuku and he blinked down at the inconspicuous piece of paper.
Izuku sighed.
"Damnit."
He gave into the urges he had been fighting back all day as he went over to his closet and pulled out a familiar set of clothes that he thought he wouldn't touch ever again. He put on the clothes, taking a glance at himself in his floor-length mirror as he rolled up the sleeves.
He did his best to fix his unruly hair into something more controlled. He had tailored the dark maroon button up and black vest to his figure. It was an image of himself decked out in high end brand, his scars covering the expanse of his toned arms out and in full display.
He resented how comfortable he felt at this moment, like settling into his own skin. He felt more at ease now than he ever could in the bandages and baggy clothes.
His stance naturally became straighter, showing off his full height that he tried to hide, and his eyes lost some of their roundness as they sharpened during his inspection of himself.
"What are you doing Izuku?" He asked.
As he grabbed his keys, ready to head out, Izuku tried to reason with himself that he wasn't about to do something utterly stupid.
"You're just going to make sure Kacchan doesn't get himself into any trouble."
He reasoned this was his way of apologizing, like Eri wanted him to.
So Izuku left for the club. He grabbed a Lyft since it was on the other side of the city and inwardly wept for the lost money that he really couldn't afford to be using with rent coming up.
As the car pulled up to the front, Izuku thanked the driver and stepped out, not bothering to get in line as he went straight for the entrance.
The bouncer moved to stop him but the host at the door stopped him mid step as he smiled at Izuku, his voice shaky as he greeted him.
"Sir, it's a pleasure to see you again."
The host waved the bouncer away, making space for Izuku to pass, as Izuku nodded in greeting. As he made his way inside, the host shuffled behind him, his hands clenched tight in front of him as he kept his strained smile plastered on his face.
"Would you like to head up to the VIP lounge?"
Izuku didn't respond as he made a sweep of the area. The place wasn't huge, but it was an open layout with live music, a dance floor and plenty of seating area for people to drink and mingle.
The decor was a dark palette with dim lighting to set an elegant yet moody atmosphere around everyone.
Izuku found Katsuki at one of the corner tables with his friends as they talked and had drinks. To the casual observer, he looked like any other clientele there to enjoy the night with friends, but Izuku could see the way he and some of his other friends surveyed the area.
They would take notice of Izuku eventually if he wasn't careful.
"Take me upstairs." Izuku said.
"Right away, sir." The main said.
Izuku found a spot near the ledge where Katsuki's group was in simple view, but they made the second floor for privacy, which prevented anyone from below to see anything that happened upstairs.
"Would you like anything to drink?"
"Just a glass of whiskey, straight." Izuku said.
The man nodded and left without another word. The air on the second floor differed from the first, with high classed people scattered around tables that were covered in bottles and drugs in full view for anyone to see. Their entertainment was the hired men and women that went around sitting on their target's laps as they worked their magic on the clientele enticing them with their sweet promising words and wrapping them around their expensive, manicured fingers.
Izuku ignored it all for the chance to look back at Katsuki and get an eyeful of his appearance. Izuku smiled. He could see the care that Katsuki put in his appearance on most days, but tonight he looked especially good in a dark forest button up and well-tailored pants. His hair looked styled, though his customary spikes were still as noticeable as always.
"Bunny, it's really you!"
Arms wrapped around Izuku's shoulder from behind as the stench of weed tickled his nose and he turned to find the girl smiling down at him. Lips stained a dark red, she was a regular hostess that Izuku had crossed path with over the years. She had been only a minor annoyance on most days, but today she was distracting him from looking at Katsuki up close and his irritation was palpable.
"Why haven't you come to visit me?" The girl asked.
Izuku's brow twitched as he forced her arms off him. He moved her back at a safer distance. Her mere touch raised the hairs on the back of his neck so he turned back to the watch over the blonde hoping she'd get the hint.
"Sissy, I'm busy tonight." Izuku said.
"Come on, Bunny, when you gonna give a girl a chance?"
When she reached out to touch his arm again, Izuku snatched her wrist without turning to look back at her.
"I'm not interested." Izuku ordered.
The girl giggled, not giving up as she tried to move closer, but Izuku's grip stayed firm to keep her at a distance.
"I bet I could make you change your mind." She said.
Izuku finally turned his gaze dark as he glared back at her.
"I won't repeat myself again. Now get lost."
This finally did the trick as she pulled away from him and scampered off and out of his sight.
Izuku turned back to watch Kacchan interact with his friends. His smile returned as he rested his chin on his palm, content to watch. There was his partner Kirishima who had an arm around a pretty pink skinned woman. There were two other males, a yellow-haired and raven haired one. A petite looking girl stood next to the yellow-haired one, her side pressed into his as she conversed with Katsuki, making him laugh at whatever she said.
When the host came back to set down his drink, Izuku knew that most of the other occupants were aware of him. There were a few brave enough to glare at him, but others averted their eyes, worried to catch his attention. Izuku even heard a few whisper traitor, but Izuku didn't pay them any attention as he sipped on his drink.
After an hour or two, the craving for a cigarette grew strong enough that Izuku tore his gaze from Katsuki and went back downstairs to step out back for a smoke. He wasn't much for crowded areas as it always left him a bundle of tense nerves so the fresh air and space would do him good to calm back down.
As soon as the cold air hit his cheeks, Izuku lit his cigarette and allowed himself to take a deep inhale, his shoulders relaxing as he breathed out.
When the doors open behind him, Izuku didn't bother to turn around, thinking it was another smoker out to get some fresh air of their own.
"Izuku."
Katsuki's voice cuts through to catch his attention and Izuku flinched as he turned to find the blonde looking at him, his face unreadable.
"I had a feeling I'd see you here." Katsuki said.
Curious, Izuku took the bait being offered.
"Why do you say that?" Izuku asked.
"You're better at making lattes than you are at eavesdropping without being noticed." Katsuki said.
Izuku didn't bother to come up with an excuse since the truth was already out, so he gazed back at the other man as he took another inhale of smoke into his lungs.
"Why are you following me?" Katsuki asked.
Izuku shrugged, pulling the cigarette from his mouth.
"I'm familiar with this place, so when you mentioned the name, I got nostalgic and visited." Izuku said.
"And how is a part-time cafe employee able to enter such a restricted area as the second floor lounge?" Katsuki questioned.
Izuku didn't react to his accusations. Though inside he was flipping out, his heart racing in his rib cage as he tried to keep it from showing on his face.
"I know a guy." Izuku said.
He could tell that Katsuki didn't believe him, but Izuku technically wasn't lying. He knew the owner who knew his ex-boss. So he wasn't lying for once.
"Why did you really follow me?" Katsuki asked.
"Why did you come back to the cafe?" Izuku asked instead.
This time, Katsuki took the bait.
"I told you we're not done, I'm going to make you accept me back as a friend." Katsuki said.
Izuku scoffed. It sounded so juvenile. Katsuki, a grown man, was practically ordering him to be his friend again. He wished he didn't feel so good when he heard it, though.
"I don't want any friendships, especially yours." Izuku said.
"Bullshit. If you weren't interested, you wouldn't have followed me."
"I didn't follow you." Izuku said.
Katsuki glared as he crossed his arms, not at all convinced by him.
"Then what are you doing here?" He asked.
Izuku smirked. His only goal at this point was to piss the other man off enough to give up and leave back to his group.
"I'm a grown man, Katsuki. I'm just looking for an easy lay."
Izuku leaned forward as he eyed Katsuki, who looked back at him, annoyed.
"You seem so desperate to get my attention, though. You interested in keeping me company tonight?"
The pretty blush that spread across Katsuki's cheeks entranced Izuku as he faltered at the other mans reaction.
"What the hell, Deku?" Katsuki shouted.
Izuku rolled his eyes at the nickname as he took another drag of his cigarette to hide his own nervous blush.
"I'm kidding. I know you're not interested."
There was a pause between them and Izuku tried to ignore the growing tension, sure that it was of his own making when Katsuki's words had him floored on the spot.
"What makes you think I wouldn't be?"
Izuku's looks up at him in surprise and the other man was gazing down at the ground, the blush turning a deep mauve on his face as he stared wide eyed at his own words.
Izuku tried to remember that he was supposed to be scaring Katsuki away from him, but this sudden turn was opening up a path that he couldn't help but want to explore now that it was out on display for him.
Izuku walked towards Katsuki, who startled at the movement as he moved back in response while Izuku continued to push the narrative.
"I doubt we're comparable, Katsuki. You seem like the type that likes the petite girls who let you take charge." Izuku said.
Katsuki flinched, so Izuku guessed he wasn't far off the mark on his type.
"So? What the hell does that have to do with now?" Katsuki asked.
His voice sounded strained, but he wasn't pulling away as Izuku cornered him against the wall, his arms boxing him in on either side. Izuku shuddered at their proximity. His control was slipping, and he knew he was playing with fire, pushing this conversation deeper.
Katsuki looked just as rattled as his body shook in place, but his eyes didn't show an ounce of fear as his gaze bore into Izuku.
He smirked down at Katsuki as he slid his hand down and around his waist, pausing so Izuku could enjoy the feeling of Katsuki in his arm. Katsuki's hands pressed again against Izuku's chest, but he still didn't push him away, so Izuku pulled him forward until their faces drew closer, only inches away as their breaths mingled between them.
"You don't seem like the type to be held by another man, Katsuki."
He watched as Katsuki's eyes darkened a deep bloody red as he stared up at Izuku, his mouth falling open, but he didn't protest or yell at his words. His inaction only piqued Izuku's adrenaline to keep pushing to see how far Katsuki would let him go.
"Or maybe you are?"
Izuku released him and pinched Katsuki's chin with his fingers as he tilted his head back even further to look at his face. The mauve had spread down his slim neck, disappearing into the collar of his shirt.
Izuku wanted to see how far it had spread.
There seemed to be a war happening behind Katsuki's gaze, and Izuku watched it all unfold in front of him. Izuku brushed his thumb against Katsuki's soft lower lip. The blonde must have come to some kind of decision, as his tongue peaked out to meet the rough texture of Izuku's skin.
That snapped the last bit of control Izuku had in him.
Izuku pulled the other man forward, their lips colliding as he tasted Katsuki for the first time.
It was everything he imagined it to be, and so much more. The taste was an intoxicating mixture of sweet vodka, of hot cinnamon and all Katsuki.
The blonde responded in kind to Izuku's aggressive kiss as he wrapped his arms around Izuku, dragging him down until he was bent over Katsuki. The position was awkward, so Izuku rectified the situation by picking him up and pinning him against the rough concrete wall behind him.
Katsuki didn't protest in the slightest as Izuku felt his legs wrap around his waist. Izuku's tongue pressed against Katsuki's as they fought to dominate the other. Leave it to Katsuki to turn a make out into a competition, but that only enticed Izuku more. So Izuku planned to steal Katsuki's every breath, unwilling to let him from even one string of thought in case he changed his mind.
His mouth eventually gravitated its way down Katsuki's jawline where he traced the outline with his tongue and nibbled down behind his ear, where Katsuki gasped in response to his attention.
If his taste was intoxicating, then his sounds were a teasing call to keep going and so Izuku paid attention to every soft gasp that escape his lips. Please, when Katsuki latched his fingers through his hair to hold him closer. Izuku only wished he could pull back long enough to see the look on his face, but he couldn't risk it.
There was an annoying buzz that eventually pierced through Izuku's blissful fog, but he only slowed down a fraction as he laid gentle pecks against Katsuki's collarbone.
"Bunny!"
Izuku wanted to ignore it as he brought Katsuki's lips back to his own, his sweetness pulling back into his blissful fog before the blonde pulled away from him, much to Izuku's displeasure.
"Izuku?" Katsuki asked.
Katsuki's lips appeared swollen and pink, which pleased Izuku as he gazed at them, unwilling to acknowledge the chuckle that was coming to their left.
"Damn Bunny, is he that tasty?"
Izuku turned to the person who had interrupted them, his mood soured.
Goto.
Izuku cursed internally as he finally realized who he had crossed ran into. Goto was a steroid loving fighter that Izuku had the misfortunate of knowing. The enlarged man stood across from him, his arm slung around a girl who looked like she was miles away from consciousness and not at all on Earth as she wobbled in place.
She looked much too small and vulnerable next to the towering older man. This only dampened Izuku's earlier excitement even further.
Two of the man's lackeys flanked either side of him, but they must have been new because Izuku didn't recognize either of their faces.
"How you been, Bunny?" Goto said.
Izuku slowly put Katsuki back down to stand on his own feet as he righted himself to stand at his full height against the man.
Goto still stood a few inches above him, but the man was abnormally tall compared to most people, not that it bothered Izuku in the slightest.
Katsuki was the one who stepped in when Izuku had yet to say anything, though his attention was only on the girl.
"You okay?" Katsuki asked.
His voice still sounded a bit winded as he caught his breath.
When she didn't respond or even look up at Katsuki, he glared at Goto suspiciously.
"The girl is completely high." Katsuki said.
Goto smirked at Katsuki as he pressed the girl tighter against his side.
"What? You worried about her?" Goto asked.
"Yes, who knows what you pumped her full of." Katsuki accused.
"Don't worry, she's perfectly safe with me. I'll take good care of her." Goto said.
His friends chuckled behind him, but Katsuki's teeth snapped as he pulled his badge out from his pant pocket.
"Yeah, no, I'm going to take her with me to a hospital."
Goto didn't seem at all intimidated, as he ignored the blonde to look back at Izuku.
"This the company you keeping now, Bunny?" Goto teased.
"You know this guy?" Katsuki questioned Izuku, his glare turning towards Izuku now.
"Oh, we go way back, isn't that right, Bunny?"
The older man chuckled as he smirked at Izuku, whose jaw clenched. He had yet to say anything, though that was more to prevent him from snapping at the other man.
"I should ask instead if you know the type of guy you're sucking face with?" Goto asked Katsuki.
"Keep your mouth shut Goto before I permanently shut it." Izuku ordered.
His teeth clenched as he tried to restrain himself, but Katsuki was looking more suspicious by the second as he took a step towards the girl and away from Izuku.
The two stared each other down, Goto's face alight with amusement at the situation. He always found joy out of riling Izuku up, which was why he rarely allowed himself to react to the man's taunts. But Katsuki was his weak spot.
"Man, this is why I always hated your smug ass face. Think you're so special just because you're the boss's dog." Goto said.
Something on Katsuki's face changed at Goto's words, but Izuku didn't guess what it was as his body reacted when Goto threw a punch. Izuku caught it in his palm, though the force was enough to push him back a bit before he turned, doing a back kick to the side of Goto's head.
It wasn't enough force to knock him out, but the man pulled back stunned, as he tried to grasp his bearings.
The girl fell to the ground where she stood and Katsuki reached out and moved her away as Goto's men came at Izuku while he was distracted. They were clearly not experienced fighters, as Izuku could evade them with little effort.
When he saw his opening, he kneed the shorter one in the gut, making him keel over as Izuku turned and punched the other in the head's side. Knocking him out cold.
"Ha! I forgot you're no longer the boss's dog are you, no you betrayed your own people just like I knew you would." Goto said.
Izuku glared at the other man, not bothering to wait as he threw a punch, though the taller man blocked it.
They were familiar with each other fighting style, having met in the ring a few times. Izuku used speed since Goto was all muscle and did his best to avoid any direct blows from the other man.
He clipped Izuku a few times, which was enough to leave him winded when Goto landed a blow at his side, but Izuku didn't have time to let his guard down with the other man, who came at him with a wild barrage of attacks.
Izuku knew with Goto, there was only one way to take the other man down. And the moment he saw his chance, Izuku did another back kick, putting all his anger behind it as it landed on the side of the man's head.
Goto shot to the side, his head slamming against the brick wall as he slid down unconscious.
Izuku righted himself and motioned for the host that had been hiding behind the exit door.
"Is there anything I can do?" The host asked.
Izuku straightened his clothes, not bothering to look at Goto or the host.
"Take him and his friends inside to rest in one of the private lounges." Izuku said.
"Hey wait, they need to be taken in for assault." Katsuki said.
Izuku ignored him, though, as he told the host to hurry.
The man nodded and motioned to a few body guards that came out and with a bit of struggle; they lifted Goto's enormous frame along with his friends and carried them inside.
"What the hell, Deku?" Katsuki asked.
Izuku nodded to the host and waved him away so that Izuku and Katsuki were left alone, minus the girl, who was mostly unconscious in Katsuki's arms.
Izuku could see that he had come to his own conclusions as he gazed at Izuku, his eyes cautiously.
"You're All for One's dog." Katsuki said.
Izuku looked at Katsuki, keeping his face bland and unreadable before he sighed and pushed his hair back in resignation.
"I am, which is all the more reason for you to stay away, Katsuki." Izuku admitted.
He didn't wait to see what Katsuki has to say about it as he turns and walked out of the alley.
"Deku… Izuku! Get back here and talk to me!" Katsuki yelled.
Izuku didn't turn back as he left. He licked his lips, hoping to catch Katsuki's taste one last time, disappointed when all traces of him were gone.
He shook his head though, as he had other things to worry about now because Goto had seen them together, which meant Katsuki was now on their radar.
