That's awful poetry, but hardly any thought went into it besides writing this down.
Harry Eats Breakfast
The day after Snape's meeting, Harry was starting the day with a small breakfast when he looked up at the head table. He always looked at the head table to check on the faces of the teachers, especially the DADA one as she seemed to have a grudge against Harry. She was once again dressed in pink, but today had muddy olive decorations, which unfortunately did nothing but accentuate her unfortunate froggy facial features. Large eyes, set wide over a wide but thin mouth on the short face, only interrupted with a wide nose that was probably looked fine on a bird, were peering out at the students underneath her pink brimmed hat. As she was watching the students, Harry gathered that she was in a bad mood and was looking for someone to give detention with so that she could use her aggression somewhat productively. Snape was in no better mood. He was actually narrowing his brows in his mood, and Harry felt sorry for himself and his classmates at having to be in the room with the man. Snape on a good day was bad enough; Snape on a bad day meant that hardly any of the students would be met with a civil comment. Even the Slytherins were known to be extra careful after being on the bad side of the irritated man once or twice.
Today was going to be rough as he had to deal with both teachers today, even if it was for only a single theory period in potions.
Madam Umbridge, otherwise known as the Toad, was somewhat of a conundrum. She was definitely a Ministry toady, as the things that she took detention for were things like a joking comment on Minister Fudge, a question asked quietly in the halls about changing laws, improperly formatted essays, bad handwriting, and saying anything the Minister didn't believe, such as Voldemort being an active threat, or that any of the students would need to defend themselves, no matter the evidence in the contrary. Currently, the detentions mainly consisted of writing lines with a normal pen, but she had made comments about trying to get in her special pens. She seemed to think that any abuse of authority by her was fine, but not if done by others. She had been going after Snape because of that, but also Flitwick and Hagrid and all the rest of the staff anyone could see was a bit different. In that regards, she was going against people like herself, as she herself was different looking. It was the pot calling the kettle black.
