"So whats the big plan for today?" Casey asked.
"Well Professor Oak should be back in Pallet by now so I'm going to grab Gligar and get some more training in for the Johto League and our next gym battle!" Ash said enthusiastically.
"Might want to focus that training on Houndour Ash." Molly said thoughtfully.
"Why, what do you know?" Ash asked excitedly.
"That trainer Eusine introduced us to, Morty, he's the gym leader in town and hold an impressive team of ghost type Pokemon." Molly said, showing the news article.
"All the more reason to get to training!" Ash said, before rushing off to the front counter.
"10 says he forgets to train Houndour." Casey chuckled.
At the front counter
"Nurse Joy, can you tell me where the transfer phones are located?" Ash asked, slightly impatiently.
"Of course, they're up the stairs and on your right, but they are under maintenance at the moment, and I'm not sure when he'll have them fixed." Nurse Joy admitted.
"Would it be okay if I checked and asked him then?" Ash asked.
"As long as you don't bother him too much I suppose." Nurse Joy said as Ash rushed off.
"Condarn it!" A man said, inside a large transfer machine. "There's the problem, all these cables look like something ran right through them."
"Umm, is everything alright?" Ash asked, cautiously walking up.
"Sorry about the delay, this system is more messed up than a Tangela's vines after a twister." The man said, before pushing himself out from beneath the machine. "Ash, well what a surprise to see you all the way out here."
"Bill, it's been a while I'm out here challenging the Johto League, why are you out here?" Ash asked.
"I'm repairing the transfer machine, darn thing has been acting up for a while." Bill said with a groan. "Let me guess you were hoping to use it."
"Yeah, is it ready to work?" Ash asked.
"Should be all set, and if not, don't worry the transfer won't even activate." Bill said.
"So no chance of a Pokemon getting lost." Ash half asked.
"Not a chance at all, probably, even if it does I should be able to track where it goes." Bill said assure of himself.
"Alright, let's call Professor Oak." Ash said, dialing the phone.
"Ahh hello Ash, I was wondering when I'd hear from you." Professor Oak said, with Gligar hanging off of his shoulders.
"Professor, glad you made it back, how was the trip home?" Ash asked.
"It was wonderful, Gligar and I had fun together, but I'm sure you're calling to get him back now, aren't you." Professor Oak said.
"Yeah, we've got some training to do for the gym leader here." Ash said.
"Not a problem." Professor Oak said, returning Gligar to a Pokeball, before moving it to the transfer system, sparks coming out from the Ekruteak side of the transfer system before a Pokeball finally came through.
"Thanks Professor." Ash said, holding out the Pokeball.
"Ash, I haven't sent Gligar over." Professor Oak said, holding up the ground types Pokeball.
"Then, what was sent to me?" Ash asked, looking at the Pokeball.
"Okay, hold on, hold on, I'll figure this out." Bill said, typing on the computer.
"Ash, whats going on?" Molly asked, walking over.
"No clue, a random Pokeball just showed up." Ash said.
"This doesn't make sense." Bill said. "I double checked the system before starting repairs, there were no Pokemon waiting."
"Maybe it was an outside transfer, a crossed stream?" Ash questioned.
"Let me see the Pokeball." Bill said, scanning it on the transfer system.
"What does it say?" Ash asked.
"It's not someone else's Pokemon." Bill said in surprise.
"What do you mean, it has to be someone's Pokemon." Ash said.
"It is, the system says you're the original trainer." Bill admitted.
"That's not possible, I mean which Pokemon is it though?" Molly asked curiously. "And how is it Ash's Pokemon?"
"It's not any Pokeball I own." Ash admitted. "Well come on out!"
"Vee!" A strange looking Eevee called coming out.
"It's white?" Molly asked. "Why is that Eevee white?"
"Not sure." Ash said. "Bill do you have any ideas?"
"There is the Kimono Girls, they are very knowledgeable about Eevee's and their evolutions." Bill offered.
"Alright, we'll check it out." Ash said.
"Wait Ash, what about Gligar?" Professor Oak asked.
"Once we figure out where it came from and bring him home, I'll get Gligar back." Ash said. "Sorry Gligar."
"It's quite fine, Gligar and I do enjoy each others company, I'm sure he won't mind sticking around for a bit longer." Professor Oak assured, before the two signed off.
"Alright, let's check out these Kimono Girls." Ash said in confidence.
"Pi Pikachu!"
"Wait, where'd everyone go?" Casey asked, noticing Ash and Molly never returned.
At the Dance Hall
"Hello, I was told I could talk to someone about Eevees here." Ash said, seeing the place empty.
"Apologies, we weren't expecting visitors today." A woman in a kimono said. "You had a question about an Eevee?"
"Yeah, this one just appeared in the transfer system, and you know I'm not really sure how you can help with that problem, but there's something off about it." Ash admitted.
"Off in what way?" The girl asked.
"Well." Ash said, sending out the Eevee with white fur and red eyes. "It's not normal exactly."
"Hmm, it is quite strange." The girl said. "Is it yours?"
"No, that's the other strange part, it's not mine, it just showed up out of nowhere but it is registered to me." Ash admitted.
"Let me get the others, see if we can find something out about this little girl." The Kimono girl said.
"It's a girl?" Molly asked in surprise.
A bit later
"Yeah thanks for telling me you were leaving to a show hall." Casey scoffed.
"Hey we went and got you, didn't we?" Ash reminded. "Besides how'd you miss us leaving?"
"I! Just shut up!" Casey said angrily.
"Ash, this Eevee seems perfectly healthy, but if it's alright with you, we'd like to see something." One of the girls said calmly.
"Of course what do you need?" Ash asked, getting up to see a Pokeball right in his face. "Okay, well I was going to train today, I accept."
"You will fight each of us with one Pokemon, is that fine with you?" The girl said as the others cleared the stage.
"Works for me, so what's my first opponent." Ash said confidently.
"Jolteon come out!" The first girl said.
"Pi!" Pikachu said, wanting to prove himself against his fellow electric type.
"Alright Pikachu use Quick Attack!"
"Jolteon use Thunderbolt!"
Pikachu sped out of the way of the electric attack before slamming into Jolteon, sparks going across the two on impact.
"Pikachu use Thunder Punch!"
"Jolteon use Double Kick!"
Jolteon spun around, firing kicks at Pikachu as the rodent punched in retaliation.
"Use Thunderbolt!" Both trainers called out.
The two electric types leapt apart before sending out bolts of electricity that met in the middle pushing against one another before it quickly became clear that Pikachu was overpowering Jolteon, taking it down for a win.
"Very impressive but can you keep it up?" A girl in a blue kimono said, effortlessly sending out a Vaporeon.
"He should've kept Pikachu for this." Casey said, seeing the water type.
"Totodile, let's go!" Ash called out enthusiastically.
"Of course." Casey sighed.
"Vaporeon use Hydro Pump!"
"Totodile use Water Gun!"
Vaporeon and Totodile each sent out a stream of water with Vaporeon's easily and quickly overtaking Totodile's, blasting the tiny croc with the stream of water.
"Vui!"
"Pika!"
"Come on Totodile you've got this!" Ash cheered as Totodile hopped back up in his usual manner before getting a serious look on his face.
"Totodile use Scratch!"
"Vaporeon dodge it with Agility!"
Vaporeon easily moved out of the way of Totodile's attack, avoiding damage altogether.
"He needs to slow them down somehow." Molly theorized.
"How, Totodile can't do that?" Casey pointed out.
"Brute force it is! Totodile use Bite!"
"Vaporeon use your own Bite!"
The two water types rushed at each other with Totodile biting down on Vaporeon's tail, causing the water type to go into a panic.
"Totodile do something, use Scratch!"
Totodile was being flung back and forth by Vaporeon trying to shake him off before his fist struck the water types tail, creating a layer of ice, and then his claw from the other side slicing at the frozen tail for great damage as Totodile leapt off.
"Totodile that was amazing!" Ash exclaimed.
"Tototototo!" Totodile cheered with his usual dance and attitude returned to normal.
"Pokemon tend to grow when faced with great adversity, but that alone isn't enough to stop the greatest of minds." The third kimono girl said as she and her Espeon walked forward.
"Be smart about this Ash, Scyther and Houndour have advantages." Molly said under her breath as Totodile joined Pikachu and Eevee on the sidelines.
"Sudowoodo come on out!" Ash exclaimed.
"Espeon use Confusion!"
"Sudowoodo use Flail!"
Sudowoodo flailed about rushing forward, pushing through the psychic attack and striking Espeon.
"Espeon use Psychic!"
"Sudowoodo use Rock Throw!"
Sudowoodo summoned some stones, launching them at Espeon, all of them being caught in the psychic attack.
"Use Shadow Ball!"
"Use Mimic!"
Espeon's gem glowed before sending out a shadowy ball at Sudowoodo who countered with the exact same attack mimicked right back at the psychic types, pushing through and knocking them backwards.
"Use Low Kick!" Ash called out.
Sudowoodo rushed forward, sweeping his foot at the Espeon, knocking them out.
"Way to go Sudowoodo!"
"Sudowoodo!" Sudowoodo cheered doing his usual song and dance.
"You have conquered day, but how can you handle the darkness of night." The next kimono girl said coming out of the shadows with an Umbreon.
"Scyther you've got this! Use Wing Attack!"
"Umbreon use Feint Attack!"
Scyther sped forward striking Umbreon before being knocked off course and tumbling to a stop.
"Scyther use Double Team!"
"Umbreon use Pursuit!"
Three other Scyther appeared to no avail as Umbreon was able to spot the real one with ease, striking it down again.
"Scyther use Fury Cutter!" Ash called out.
"Umbreon Confuse Ray!"
Scyther began slashing rapidly at Umbreon knocking it back more and more keeping the dark type from getting a good look at them.
"Very impressive use of tactics, but how will you stand up to a heated battle." The final Kimono Girl said, her Flareon raring for a fight.
"Go sit with the others Scyther, we've got this." Ash said, grabbing his final Pokeball. "Houndour come on out! Use Headbutt!"
"Flareon use Body Slam!"
Houndour bounded forward, leaping headfirst at the Flareon only for the other fire type to knock him to the ground with ease.
"Houndour use Bite!"
"Flareon use Bite!"
Once more Flareon easily outpowered Houndour causing him to drop in submission to be let off of Flareon's attack.
"Houndour!" Ash called out as the fire type got back to his feet, a red glow in Ash's eyes. "Use Ember!"
"Flareon use Flamethrower!"
Houndour sent out a stream of embers at Flareon that were easily engulfed and overpowered by the stream of flames that engulfed the dark type as well.
"Come on Houndour, we can do this!" Ash said encouragingly.
Houndour let out a howl as a bright light shone through the flames, a tall red glowing eye appearing in them before the flames dispersed showing a much larger Pokemon from within.
"Houndour evolved." Casey said in surprise.
'Houndoom, the Dark Pokemon, a dark and fire type. If you are burned by the flames it shoots from its mouth, the pain will never go away.' Ash's Pokedex chirped.
"Houndoom use Flamethrower!" Ash called out, his eyes clearly glowing red now.
"DOOM!" Houndoom shouted, sending out a powerful stream of flames knocking back the Flareon.
"Flareon use Body Slam!"
"Houndoom use Crunch!" Ash called out.
Houndoom rushed forward grabbing Flareon by its scruff before tossing it back away.
"Ash, calm down!" Molly said in shock.
"I, I'm seeing red." Ash said.
"Yeah no kidding, you need to calm down before you hurt Flareon." Casey said.
"No, I mean I'm actually seeing red!" Ash said, his eyes still glowing red in a panic. "What do I do?!"
