Chapter 12: The Forces of Darkness Come Out To Play
In Suna
A battle over Suna's skies can be seen by many ninjas of the village as they see their Kazekage battle Deidara the mad bomber in a fierce air battle.
Deidara and Gaara are going back and forth with each other as Gaara is about to crush him Deidara surprises him with a clay explosive that knocks him unconscious. Gaara falls from a great height. But not before Deidara captures him.
"Boy that was one hell of a battle I have never felt a battle where my art skills have been put to the ultimate test." said Deidara as he lifts Gaara's form on the clay bird and flies off. "Stop him don't let him get away with the Kazekage" said Baki as many of the Suna Shinobi's try to get Gaara back.
Kankuro engages Sasori in an intense puppet battle where he fought valiantly but was poisoned ultimately. As Sasori is escaping he thinks about what's just happened.
'Hmm Looks like Suna nearly had a new rising star in the form of a puppeteer.'
"Baki send a message to Temari tell her that Gaara has been abducted by the Akatsuki and to bring reinforcements." said Kankuro as he slips into unconsciousness. Baki does as he is told and sends a messenger hawk to Konoha about the situation.
In Konoha.
Things have gotten back to order as the Mao and Saiyujin clans help fell up the ranks of Konoha. Getting the villages battle strength back up to peak. With last Loyal Uchiha has been imprisoned in a special stasis seal for all time for his treachery and greed thanks in small part to Naruto and Raiokami knowing the seal.
The clans had also help reinforce the village with reinforcement seals that greatly reinforce already existing seals.
At the moment Naruto is in a ninja workshop. He had been working on new equipment that would aid him better in combat. He had also developed armor and gear for Raiokami to use for battle. "Just one more turn and there" said Naruto as he completes what appears to be a gas powered retractable wrist mounted grappling hook.
Naruto test fires it on a building that allows him to zoom through the air and unto a nearby rooftop. 'Nice' thought Naruto as he goes on a test run with it.
Inside The Hokage Tower
Temari is speechless as she had heard that the past couple of months that the leaf from the brief civil war to Naruto's new abilities and skills. Temari is left speechless at the information as she looks at the female hokage with surprise. "So you mean that Naruto kun through the acquirement of new skill and abilities turned the tide to a brief civil war ,help destroy the rogue faction and defeat a ninja that rivals the Sandaime, Kakashi Hatake and Asuma Sarutobi in combat. All after completing the warrior regeneration method." asked Temari as she starts to be even more in love with the blonde Uzumaki Toraken.
"Yes that sums it up quite nicely" said Tsunade as she chuckles at the Suna girl who seems in love with the blonde.
Before Tsunade and Temari could continue a messenger hawk from Suna into the window on the messenger falcon stand.
"Torakaze what are you doing here" said Temari as the hawk turns towards Temari in question.
"Temari Suna has been attacked, your brother has been taken by the Akatsuki" said the falcon as Temari and Tsunade are shocked at the news of the attack.
"Tsunade sama Suna is in trouble, will Konoha aid us" asked Temari as Tsunade nods with confirmation.
"Yes I will assemble a team to go with you," said Tsunade as she summons three Anbu members to go and get the team.
Elsewhere in the leaf.
Fuu is walking side by side with Shino. The two had been dating during the clean up and rebuilding of the village. "So Shino kun, how goes the rebuilding of your clan's nursery as I heard a massive hole was in the side of the room." asked Fuu in a concern manner.
"Pretty well Fuu chan we managed to patch the hole and made sure that it won't happened again. Especially with you here" said Shino as he holds her hand tightly with comfort with a girl that connects with him on an emotional level.
Back with Naruto.
Naruto is teaching Konohamaru the White Falcon's basic stances and drills. Konohamaru is showing great progress in learning the techniques very well. He is happy that the young Sarutobi learned the flowing talon sweep technique that can catch any opponent off guard with how wild and unpredictable it is. As Naruto watches over the Sarutobi's practice a ring at the door can be heard by the blonde as he goes to see Neko and Shikamaru at his gate.
"Hey Shika, Neko nee what's going on" asked Naruto as he looks at the two in question.
"Naruto Gaara has been abducted by the Akatsuki" said Shikamaru as Naruto looks at him with shock.
"Who's coming with us" asked Naruto as he lets the duo into is home towards his study.
"We're getting to it after coming to get you." answered Shikamaru as Naruto gets his armor on. Naruto brings his grappling hook just in case.
The trio form a team consisting of Hinata and Neji Hyuga, Raiokami ,Sakura Haruno, Hana Inuzuka, Kaze Mao, Asoma Saiyujin, Tenten, Rock Lee and Choji Akimichi.
They all followed Temari towards Suna. Temari had looked at Naruto with interest for his armor had improved drastically from what she last seen him in.
They made it to Suna without any trouble. Naruto had met Lady Chiyo, an old woman who rivals Tsunade as in medical prowess and his a mistress of ninja puppetry. Kankuro was treated for his poisoning. When Kankuro asks for Naruto to bring Gaara back to them Naruto looked at him and said" Whatever it take I will believe it" with a smiles that brings hope into the duo.
Before they left, Temari leaps at Naruto and locks lips with him as a way of thank you.
The group moves towards the area with Lady Chiyo with them. As they come close to the area they see one Itachi Uchiha and Kisame Hoshigake on the road.
"Uzumaki Naruto or should I go with Namikaze or Toraken" asked Itachi as he looks at Naruto as his eye turns into mangekyo as he looks at the boy who single handedly defeated his brother, Kakashi and Asuma in hand to hand combat.
"You look good kid I'm glad you showed up I want to see how you were able to mix it up with Hidan and Kakazu " said Kisame as he gets out his sword.
Before the leaf group could get ready Itachi places all of them each in a Tsukiyomi world.
Inside of Naruto's Tsukiyomi.
"So Itachi how are things" said Naruto as he breaks his restraints shocking the Uchiha in question.
"Don't be so surprised Danzo had the Mangekyo of Shisui and thanks to the skills I have learned from Ancients and Ancestor countries I have a way to combat the Mangekyo Sharingan" said Naruto as he looks at the surprised Uchiha who's taken aback by the information he's receiving.
"That's not all, I know of your true reasons for massacring your clan. I know of the burden you have been living with" revealed Naruto as Itachi looks at him in awe.
"Yes I had no other choice but to kill them as they where a threat to the village."said Itachi as he looks at Naruto in question. Who scowls in slight anger at what he's about to reveal.
"Yeah well you should have just iced the bastards leading it because the sandaime is a no good hood who sold you hollowed promises as he and his butt fuck teammates screwed you and your clan over through lies and manipulation. The Third Hokage intentionally wanted the Uchiha clan to revolt so he could have a reason to put your clan down. He played on your insecurities of being a pacifist Itachi he knew that you didn't want to see anymore war. He used you as a puppet assassin, Itachi, so you would do his bidding. Danzo was the one who may have come forward to give the order but Hiruzen gave the order to you through him. Danzo and Hiruzen had played you, They had twisted your plan to redeem the clan through Sasuke by turning him into a spoiled bastard. I am sorry for what has happened but you need to know the truth" said Naruto as he shows Itachi a book containing the secrets Naruto had learned from the Sandaime's journal.
Itachi for his part feels a deep sense of dread and rage at the manipulations of the Third Hokage and the Shinobi of Darkness. But most of all sadness as he let his pacifism blind him to threats inside of the village that had manipulated him into killing his clan. But he also thinks about his girlfriend Izumi. A tear falls from Itachi's eye.
"Izumi I'm sorry my love I killed you for some corrupt bastards" whispered Itachi as he looks at Naruto who equally has a sadden face.
"Naruto Uzumaki Toraken, thank you for this knowledge you brought to me. I won't forget this" said Itachi as he breaks the Tsukiyomi release Naruto from the dimension.
"Think nothing of it. Now let's do this village justice
In the real world
Everyone is broken out of their Tsukiyomi worlds when Itachi releases his genjutsu. However Kisame manages to immobilizes the rest except Naruto who leaps at the shark like man. Itachi for his part in on one knee as blood is coming out of his eyes.
"Impressive Naruto, your strength of will and mind is formidable. I salute you" said Itachi as he looks at the blonde. "Don't underestimate the strength of the human spirit. It can surprise you in more ways than one" said Naruto as he looks at the kin slayer in front of him.
Kisame and Naruto leap at each other in a brief melee battle in which Naruto was sending tremors into his arm causing Kisame to step back from the blonde in shock and surprise at his strength.
"Wow Kid you've gotten very strong. I only wish we were here" said Kisame in a cryptic tone of voice as Naruto and his friends are confused. Soon Itachi
"Hmm well I think it has brought you a reprieve for now Naruto as you soon will fall" said Itachi as he and Kisame slumps over. Everyone soon investigate to discover that the two before them are doubles of some sort that was seemingly controlled by Itachi and Kisame.
"Come on these two were only distractions we have to go and get Gaara and fast" said Shikamaru as the rest of them nods and moves towards the location. Soon they come across the cave where from what Naruto, Asoma and Kaze can tell is Bijuu chakra being released. Naruto using his Fuinjutsu skills decipher the seal placed on the rock. However as soon as they dealt with the traps and the seal Naruto looks to see Gaara's lifeless body being used as a chair by Deidara.
"So your the Kyuubi's Jinchuriki, well you don't look like much. My art will blow you away in the instant you move." said Deidara in an arrogant manner as he smirks at Naruto who says one thing that makes him feels chills. "If you want to live I suggest that you hand over the Kazekage right now before I cram your head up your ass and light you on fire." Deidara smirks thinking that he could just wear down the blonde and overwhelm him with explosives. "Shika, Lady Chiyo are you guys able to handle the hunchback over there" asked Naruto in a serious manner.
"Yeah Naruto but what about you" asked Shikamaru as he and Chiyo looks at Naruto with curiosity.
"Simply put I have a feeling my new invention would help with this jokers flying" said Naruto as Deidara forms a large bird the has the dead form of his friend in it's tail feathers. Soon a ground and air battle commences as Naruto using his grapple gun hooks the clay bird that Deidara is commanding.
Shikamaru and his group is fighting Sasori on the ground using group tactics to box the puppet master in.
Naruto for his holding on for dear life as he is flying through the air as his traction system on his grapple gun is slowly allowing him to get close to free Gaara. Naruto being close enough get his lightsaber and cuts Gaara free. As Gaara's form falls Naruto makes a shadow clone that catches Gaara and lands on the ground safely. Naruto turns his attention to the mad bomber with a pissed expression. Naruto takes out an explosive Kunai and throws it at Deidara who avoids it only for it to explode knocking him off of the clay bird and towards the ground. Deidara tries to make a new bird and detonate the other until Naruto tackles him in mid air. Naruto starts to land punches into the mad bomber. With the bomber feeling many fractures in skeleton from the blows he's being hit by the former Jinchuriki. Deidara kicks Naruto away but finds himself to close to the ground.
He falls through several tree branches breaking each one as he crashes into a more harder branch. Before Deidara can get up and make any handsigns Naruto throws a windmill shuriken that cuts one of Deidara's arms off. "Now tell me, pretty boy do you feel fear" asked Naruto in a deadly tone. As he looks at the mad bomber is shaking with fear for the first time in his life. "What's wrong did the mad bomber become the mad cryer" said Naruto as Deidara gets angry at the comment he gets ready to resume the fight.
Sasori is standing his ground against the combined might of rest of the of the rescue team. 'What the hell has the Konoha nins been doing they shouldn't be this strong and skilled" thought Sasori as he dodges a giant sized foot from Choji.
Naruto is trading ranged attacks with the mad bomber Deidara sensing he can't keep up with the jinchuriki in long range combat feigns surrender Naruto's sensing a ploy plays along until Deidara tried to explode incapacitating the Uzumaki but Naruto seeing this coming conjure up a Ongon shield that protects him from the massive explosion.
The Rescue team arrives after defeating Sasori in combat. Naruto walks up with Gaara's dead form. Lady Chiyo sadden by the loss of her grandson' life attempts to use a forbidden technique to revive her grandson along with sacrificing her life. Naruto however using a technique he learned from the North star tribe sends some of his life energy into Chiyo saving her life in the process.
Gaara, now revived, greets his friend and brother in suffering in a hug. The group walks back to Suna where Gaara is greeted by his siblings. Gaara turns towards Naruto and smiles at his friend.
"Thank you Naruto I really appreciate your efforts to rescue me. I don't know what power you have but I know it will see you through this world" said Gaara as he and Naruto shakes hands.
"Young Toraken you will be a great legend in this world. whether I see your rise or not" said Lady Chiyo as Naruto bows to Lady Chiyo. Temari runs up and kisses Naruto deeply locking lips with him.
"Thank you Naruto kun you brought my brother back to me I will never forget this act" said Temari as she looks at the blonde in question.
"It's what I do" said Naruto as he smiles at Temari who smiles back.
"Troublesome blonde" said Shikamaru as the leaf group travel back to Konoha as Temari thinks. 'Naruto kun you are something new something great that is leading to the new era'
Elsewhere in the Elemental Nations
Deidara can be seen panting as he is missing his arm and is covered in wounds from the boxed explosion. Next to him is the masked nin named Tobi.
"Deidara senpai what was Naruto Uzumaki Toraken like when you fought him" asked Tobi as he looks at the blonde who is growling at the seemingly annoying masked nin.
"He was lucky with his tricks." said Deidara in an angry tone.
"Wow if he was lucky than why did you retreat" asked a curious Tobi as Deidara chase Tobi around in circles to try and kick Tobi in the ass.
In Oto
Orochimaru is scowling at the news he's been hearing. Ranging from Danzo being killed, Sasuke Uchiha being crippled for life, He has been thinking over his situation and sees that he would have no other choice but to join forces with the Akatsuki in dealing with Konoha and their champion.
'Hmm I wonder if it's a perfect time to initiate project Goro' thought Orochimaru as he goes towards his lab.
"Kabuto what is the status report on Project Goro" asked Orochimaru ask Kabuto smirk and shows live footage of a creature with four arms and incredible agility fighting several captured ninja's from different lesser villages.
One by one each one being beaten and killed in various fashions.
"The subject is doing just fine Orochimaru sama, he's taken to the Senju and Dragon blood quite nicely." said Kabuto as he looks at the snake sannin who is smirking at the progress of his experiments.
"Now to get into contact with my old colleagues in the Akatsuki we have much to plan for" said Orochimaru as he and Kabuto continue with the experiment.
Elsewhere in Ame
Konan is wondering the streets of Ame in the rain. She is think to herself about the blonde jinchuriki's powers and abilities. As she is think this she sees a bird summon of her friend signaling to her that she is needed.
'It begins again the struggle. I only hope we are doing the right thing' thought Konan as she takes flight towards her friend and leader.
Back in Konoha.
Naruto is laying in his bed with Hinata, Asoma, Tayuya, Kurama, Anko,and Hana all of them naked from the nights intimate bonding for what is to come. Naruto thinking to himself' A storm is coming in the Horizon I only hope that my training and will is enough' as he goes to sleep cuddling with his lovers as he falls asleep.
Timeskip 3 months later
Naruto has been training Konohamaru in the Great Dragon Fist showing him the acrobatics and agility associated with the White Falcon form. Konohamaru isn't the only one. Naruto had taught Hinata, Tayuya and Asoma in the art as well greatly improving in what they know as Kunoichi.
At the moment Naruto is drilling the 4 in the staff forms of the White Falcon Form. Giving them insight of the basic weapons forms. 'I must keep practicing for if I slack up the world will pay for it in blood and tyranny in it's new dark age.' thought Naruto as he continues the practice.
In a secret meeting place
Orochimaru and Kabuto are meeting with the leaders of the Akatsuki. They have come to an agreement to join forces to battle Konoha and it's Champion. "So Orochimaru what do you bring to bring down the nine tails jinchuriki?" asked Pain, curious about Orochimaru's part in the alliance.
"Present to you Goro" said Orochimaru as his creation as tall herculean with draconic features possessing additional arms. Goro then shoots out a fireball that burns a spotted spy in the distance.
"Impressive" said Tobi as he looks at the enforcer Orochimaru brought with him.
"Yes he will bring down Yondaime's son and will get you your bijuu." said Orochimaru as Goro stands unmoving like a statue.
"Goro I command you to go forward and draw out the young Uzumaki Toraken cause chaos in the name of your masters." commanded Orochimaru as Goro goes towards the village to cause chaos and destruction
"Pain this isn't right these are just innocent people" said Konan as she watches as Goro slaughters a family.
"Silence Konan this is the only way to gain peace" said Pain as Goro is about to kill the children until Konan knowing now that her friend is dead in spirit flies in and save the children. Konan, seeing this proceeds to fly off with the children.
'Pain what have you have done truly has destroyed the Akatsuki' thought Konan as she comforts the children she is carrying away from the site of destruction.
Things are getting deem and destructive the dark alliance of Oto and the Akatsuki is only just beginning.
