"Last time Logan and Ruby explored Route 1 where they met Elaine Ketchunm and got two new teammates in Shelly the Shiny Squirtle and Patrick the Rattata."

Logan and Ruby arrived at Viridian City as they heard a voice over the intercom.

"Attention all citizens! Members of the criminal organization Team Rocket have been spotted, and people are advised to keep their Pokemon in their pokeballs and report any suspicious character!"

However, before they could continue walking any further, they were stopped by Officer Jenny pulling on his bag.

"Where do you think you're going with that Pokemon?" Officer Jenny asked.

"We're heading to the Pokemon Center to heal her along with my other two Pokemon," Logan replied.

"Just show me your identification, and you will be free to go if it checks out that you're a registered Pokemon trainer," Officer Jenny said.

"Here you go," He said, pulling out his Pokedex and heading it to Officer Jenny.

"Alright, let's see," Officer Jenny said, sliding the Pokedex open.

"Hello, i'm Dex, a Pokedex programmed by Professor Sycamore for Pokemon trainer Logan Windward of Aquacorde Town. My purpose is to provide Logan with information and advice regarding Pokemon and their training, as well as the moves that they can learn. If lost or stolen, I can't be replaced."can learn. If lost or stolen, I can't be replaced."

"Now that im clear, can I take my Pokemon to the Pokemon Center?" Logan asked.

"Yes, you may go but be careful Pokemon thieves from Team Rocket have been spotted. Who better keep your Pokemon safe," Officer Jenny explained.

"Will do. Thanks for the warning Officer," Logan putting away his Pokedex as he and Ruby continue their walk to the Pokemon Center.

As they we walking, they suddenly heard a rattling sound.

"What was that?" Logan questioned, walking towards the noise.

"Litleo," Ruby growled, getting in front o Logan as they entered an ally and tackled the trash can.

"Meow!" A voice cried out in surprise.

A cream-colored feline Pokemon with a golden charm attached to its forehead fell out of the trash can.

"Looks like a Meowth," Logan said, taking out his Pokedex.

[Meowth, The Scratch Cat Pokemon. A Normal-type Pokemon. It is nocturnal by nature. If it spits something shiny, its eyes glitter as brightly as the shiny object.]

"The little fellow must be hungry," Logan said.

"Meowth," Meowth said nervously, backing up.

"Scared and hungry. Ruby stand down," Logan commanded.

Logan took off his bag and pulled out a can of Pokemon food, and poured a little on the ground in front of Meowth.

Meowth looked at the food and slowly took a bite. It then quickly smiled and ate all the food.

"Hey, little fellow, why don't you come with me to the Pokemon Center," Logan said.

"Meow," Meowth looked at Logan briefly before jumping into his arms.

"Let's go, Ruby."

Logan let out a deep sigh as he arrived at the Pokemon Center. It started sprinkling outside.

Upon entering the Pokemon Center. Logan saw a woman at the front counter; she had pink hair tied in two large loops, blue eyes, and wearing a pink dress with a white apron over the top, a white nurse hat with a red cross in front, and white buckle shoes.

This woman was Nurse Joy, and like Officer Jenny, hundreds of them were throughout the Region.

"Welcome to the Pokemon Center," Nurse Joy greeted with a kind smile."How can I help you?" She asked.

"Hello, Nurse Joy. I want to get my Pokemon checked out and my Pokemon egg," Logan replied.

"I can take care of that for you," Nurse Joy said and pressed a button on the desk.

A moment later, a pink ovoid-like Pokemon carrying an egg in its louch came out from the back to, pushing a cart with several indentations for pokeballs and padded seats for small pokemon to sit on, and a slot for an incubator.

Logan pulled out his Pokedex.

[Chansey, The Egg Pokemon. A Normal type. A rare and elusive Pokemon that is said to bring happiness to those who manage to get it. A gentle Pokemon and kind-hearted Pokemon that shares its nutritious eggs if it sees an injured Pokemon.]

"Chansey, Chansey, Chan," Chansey said, pointing to the cart.

Logan nodded as she placed her pokeballs, Ruby, Meowth, and her egg on the cart.

"Keep Meowth relaxed," Logan said.

"Lit," Ruby cried out.

"Chansey," Chansey pushed the cart toward the treatment room.

"Is there anything else I can help you with?" Nurse Joy asked.

"Yes, I would like a room, please," Logan said."Oh, and I would like to register for the Pokemon League."

"Of course. I'm going to need your Pokedex."

"Sure," Logan handed over his Pokedex.

Nurse Joy slotted the Pokedex into the computer and typed up the information from the pokedex she needed.

"Logan Windward of Aquacorde Town," A male mechanical voice said, then a picture of Logan and his information beside him appeared on the screen."Welcome to the Indigo League."

There you go, Logan, you're all registered," Nurse Joy then returned Logan's Pokedex and a yellow and black badge case.

Logan nodded his thanks and took the Pokedex and badge case and placed them into her right side pocket.

Nurse Joy handed Logan a key with the No.7 on it."Here you go. Room 7 is just down the hall. Have a good rest of your day.

"Thanks," Logan said and walked off.

Logan was in the dining area of the Pokemon Center, eating for the evening and, at the same time, waiting for his Pokemon to be healed.

He was eating a nice warm bowl of soup for dinner.

"Can I join you?" A voice asked from behind him.

He turned around to aee Elaine holding a bowl of Beefaroni.

"Sure."

"Nice to see you again, Logan," She said, smiling.

"Same."

After a couple of moments, Nurse Joy called him to get his Pokemon.

"Your Pokemon are fighting fit," Nurse Joy said as Logan saw a cart with his pokeballs, egg, Ruby, and Meowth on it."Your egg is in good condition and should hatch soon."

"Litleo," Ruby smiled.

"Thank you, Nurse Joy," Logan said, grabbing his egg and securing it back in his bag before picking up Ruby."So what going to happen to Meowth?"

"Well, she doesn't have a trainer, so she will be released back on the streets," Nurse Joy said."We don't usually allow wild Pokemon in here without a trainer unless it is an emergency."

"Hm. Meowth, what do you think about joining me?" Logan asked.

Meowth smiled happily, liking the sound of that idea.

Logan then pulled out a Pokeball ans tapped Meowth's forehead catching her instantly.

"A Meowth; you got a friendly group of Pokemon so far, Eliane said, retrieving her Eevee and two other pokeballs.

Logan glanced at her pokeballs and was about to say something when suddenly Officer Jenny slid in on her moterrecyle with a boy in the side cart. He quickly moved out of the way with Elaine.

"Oh, bother," Elaine muttered, seeing her cousin and a beat-up Pikachu."What did cousin do now," She whispered.

"Logan and Ruby returned to Viridian City and found a wild Meowth in the trashcan. They also ran into Elaine Ketchum once again at the Pokemon Center. As well as catching himself a Meowth and registering for the League. Elaine then suddenly arrives with an injured Pikachu. However, little does Logan know that trouble soon awaits them in the Pokemon Center."The Narrator said.
