"Last time Logan and Ruby had returned to Viridian City where they encountered a wild Meowth and ran into Elaine Ketchum at the Pokemon Center. As well as a dramatic entrance to the Pokemon Center by Officer Jenny and Elaine's cousin."
Logan and Elaine stood away from the counter as Officer Jerny's motorcycle suddenly stopped in front of the counter.
"Oh brother," Elaine muttered, "What did my cousin do?" She asked, looking at the injured Pikachu.
"We have a driveway, you know," Nurse Joy said, annoyed.
"It's a Pokemon emergency," Officer Jenny said.
"Please help it," The boy in the side cart said, standing up.
"Looks like a Pikachu. We do what we can," Nurse Joy said, turning to face the computer and typing."I need a stretcher for a small electric Pokemon stat."
'What happened to her cousin Pikachu?'Logan thought as he saw two Chansey come forward pushing an empty stretcher towards Nurse Joy and Eliane's cousin.
Nurse Joy took Pikachu and carefully placed him on the empty stretcher."It will be okay," She said softly."Rush this Pokemon to the critical care unit," She said, looking at both Chansey.
"Chansey," Both Chansey said, taking off with Pikachu.
"We'll begin the treatment right away," Nurse Joy said, putting on gloves.
"Uh..." The boy said.
"Who are you?" Nurse Joy asked.
"His name is Ash. He is the Pokemon trainer," Officer Jenny said.
"Oh, Ash," Elaine whispered.
Logan shrugged his shoulders and walked on over to the video phones with Ruby
Logan dialed his home number. After a couple of minutes, his mom appeared on the phone.
"Hi, son. Your father told me you called earlier," She greeted with a smile.
"Hi, Mom. Yes, I did just get back from picking up my pokedex and staying at Viridian City Pokemon Center for the night," Logan said.
"I see; so you're leaving for Pewter City in the morning?" His mom asked.
"Yes, I plan to leave early in the morning," He replied.
"Okay, son. Make sure to eat a good breakfast before you leave, and stay safe over there," His mom smiled, waving bye as they hung up the call.
Logan stood up and stretched his arms. He then noticed Elaine walking his way and looked at her curiously.
"Hey, Logan," She said.
"Yeah?" He asked.
"I was wondering if it would be okay if I travel with you," Elaine said."My cousin Ash is cool, but he can be too much," She said, glancing at her couch and sitting down on the bench, waiting for Pikachu.
"Eevee," Eevee cried in agreement from her spot next to Ruby.
"Well, I guess traveling with something could be fun," Logan replied.
"Great."
Logan and Elaine were finishing up talking about their traveling plans for the morning when suddenly, a loud voice caught their attention.
"Now I've got you," An angry female voice said.
Logan, Elaine, Ruby, and Eevee looked over to see a tomboyish girl holding a burnt bike and looking at Ash angrily.
"This is why I can't travel with him," Elaine sighed, seeing Ash got himself into many situations at the start of their journey as a Pokemon trainer.
Logan nodded his understanding as he decided to tune out the agreement between Ash and the unknown orange hair girl.
After a couple of moments, they stopped talking as Nurse Joy walked out of the room with Pikachu on a stretcher.
"Pikachu, are you all right?" Ash asked, rushing over towards Pikachu with the girl following him.
"Your Pikachu is resting. It is a good thing you got it here so fast," Nurse Joy said.
Logan then stood up, gaining Elaine's attention, and walked over to Ash making him look at Logan, curious same for the girl.
"You mind if I try something that he could help Pikachu feel a bit better," Logan said.
"I don't see a problem with that," Nurse Joy said.
"If you can help, please do," Ash said.
Logan walked up to Pikachu and closed his eyes as he touched Pikachu's forehead. As a glowing yellow aura appeared around him, making everyone surprised.
Everyone gasped as Pikachu's injuries started to heal up slightly.
"That's all I can do. I can't do anymore because I haven't fully learned how to use this power," Logan explained.
Elaine then walked over to Logan with awe in her eyes.
"Wow, that was amazing. How did you do that?" She asked.
"Thanks, my parents never figured out where it from, but one day, I found my partner Ruby here severely poisoned, and suddenly this aura appeared and was able to heal her enough to get treated by my dad," Logan said."Now Ash, you better let Pikachu rest."
After helping Pikachu, the alarm was heard going off. The next second, Officer Jenny's voice was heard over the intercom.
"Your attention, please. Our Viridian City radar sensors have detected an aircraft belonging to a gang of Pokemon thieves! If you have a Pokemon in your possession, exercise extreme caution!"
Suddenly a crash was heard as two pokeball broke through the window at the top as it lets out an Ekans and a Koffing.
The Koffong then let out a gas. Logan used his hand to cover his nose and face as he grabbed a Pokeball sending out his Squirtle.
"Who there?" Ash asked.
"Don't be afraid, little boy," A female voice said.
"Allow us to introduce ourselves," A male said.
"To protect the world from devastation," A tall woman said as the smoke cleared. She was tall with long red hair and blue eyes; she wore a white top that reached her chest with the 'R' on the front, a white skirt with these high heel boots and gloves. She also seemed only four or maybe five years older than Logan and the others.
"To unite all people within our nation," A man with shoulder-length blue hair and green eyes continued. He wore a white t-shirt with the letter 'R' on the front, long white pants, and a black shirt underneath with black boots and gloves. He looked a year older than the young women.
"To denounce the evils of truth and love.
" To extend our reach to the stars above."
"Jessie."
"James."
"Team Rocket, blast off at the speed of light!"
"Surrender now or prepare to fight!"
"Meowth, that's right!" A Meowth standing on two legs finished.
Logan stared at the Meowth and shrugged his attention on the tall female name Jessie as he looked at her beautiful blue eyes.
"What are you talking about?" Ash asked.
"He doesn't get it does he?" Jessie said.
"How can I? You don't make any sense," Ash said.
"We're here for the Pokemon," James said.
"You got getting Pikachu!" Ash shouted.
"Are my Eevee," Eliane said.
"We don't want what your electric rat or fluff ball," Jessie mocked.
"We see only rare and valuable Pokemon," James said.
"This is a center for weak Pokemon," Nurse Joy said.
"That may be so, but I wouldn't be surprised if we find a few pokemon gems among the junk," Jessie said."Like that unfamiliar feline Pokemon, the dark teal hair boy has, and his shiny Squirtle is quite the gem."
"You're starting to bug me," Ash said.
"Isn't that cute?"
"The boy bugged."
"Then let's squash him."
"Koffing attack!"
"Ekans go!"
"Ruby Ember! Shelly Water Gun!" Logan commanded.
Ruby and Squrtile released their attacks as Ash and the others ran off.
Logan narrowed his eyes as the Koffing and Ekans recovered and followed after Ash and others, with Jessie and James following after.
"Come on, let's get those thieves," Logan said, running after them.
"Litleo!"
"Squirtle!"
Logan, Ruby, and Squirtle were running through the center when suddenly, bright electricity shot through the building.
"What was that?" Logan questioned, surprised.
He then looked up to see the trio from earlier were sent flying through the roof and glanced at Ash on the burnt bike.
"Well, that been dealt with. Let's get some sleep, you two," Logan said, picking up Ruby and Squirtle and heading toward his room for the night.
"After encountering the Team Rocket trio of Jessie, James, and Meowth. And dealing with them, along with Ash and Pikachu sending them flying out of the Pokemon Center. Logan heads off to bed for the night, until setting off for Pewter City with Elaine early in the morning," The Narrator said.
