[BADASS LINEBREAK WITH MORE ENTHUSIASM]
ALRIGHT, FOLLOWING THE TREND, HERE WE FUCKING GOOO.
"...Eh?"
"Yes, you know, the one with Nora and Jaune in it where everyone is given a boost in badassery?" Anon said, as soon enough, MORE FUCKING GUESTS BY VIRTUE OF RED SCREEN OF DOOM.
Sighing, Anon walked towards the Theater doors, only for said doors to burst right open, revealing Bunny!
"Good gravy! More guests in the Lobby!" Bunny exclaimed.
"Where were you?" Anon asked.
"Best you don't ask." Bunny replied gravely. "Anyways, I'll be right back!"
With a slam of the doors, Bunny waltzed right out, leaving a confused Anon.
"Okay..?" Anon said before turning to the confused audience.
"Anywho, you heard her, more guests." Anon explained.
"More new friends?" Penny excitedly asked as Anon patted the android's head.
"Probably."
"You weren't kidding when you said this place is better than the older one." Someone whistled as some turned to see Team CFVY enter, along with several familiar people.
"Blake?" The cat girl froze at the voice of her father calling out as she saw then and there, were Kali and Ghira Belladonna.
"Dad... Mom...?" Blake's voice faltered at the sight of her parents as she stood and approached them timidly.
And, to her surprise while the Hosts are not as this has been evidently written a lot but it's no issue 'cause it's WHOLESOME, Blake's parents embraced her.
"My kitten!" Kali cried out as she hugged her daughter.
"But... why?" Blake asked as Ghira knew immediately what this was about.
"We knew when we heard that the Fang was going down a dark path, that you weren't going to stand up for it then." Ghira said before he looked at the rest of Team RWBY with a small smile.
"And from what I heard, you caused quite a bit of trouble in Vale." He added humorously, which made Blake embarrassed and her team chuckle in degrees of sheepishness and nervousness.
Sun gulped silently at the sight of Blake's father while his team comforted him with a few snickers.
"Good luck, man." Sage said with an amused grin.
"I'll be fine!" Sun waved him off but nonetheless, he sweated.
"Team CFVY, I assume you've been given the rundown?" Anon asked.
"Yes, and it's rather overwhelming to say the least." Yatsuhashi replied.
"Hey, who knows? With what the other Bunny girl said, we might see some cool versions of us." Coco shrugged, which earned a snort from Fox.
"You say that but not so long ago, you were revving up Gianduja..." Fox's quip was interrupted when he ducked to dodge a hit from Coco's handbag/minigun.
"We are very excited to see what's in store, it's all still surreal for us." Kali commented.
"We might see a world where Blake might be featured, my dear." Ghira added, both comments made Blake flush in embarrassment.
"Alright! Enough dilly-dallying, let's proceed to another universe!" Billy pointed to the screen, which showed Pyrrha's emblem and the screen turned black.
"NIKOS!"
CLAP! CLAP!
"NIKOS!"
CLAP! CLAP!
The sound of the crowd's voices cheering were heard along with the rhythmic clapping.
"Starting off strong with the champ, huh?" Coco said.
Pyrrha started to get a little uncomfortable, which Jaune noticed immediately.
"You okay?" He asked as the redhead nodded.
Then, sounds of metal clashing with metal were heard, as glimpses of Pyrrha fighting were flashing, the cheering and clapping still continued in the background.
"Your champion! Pyrrha Nikos!" An announcer's voice could be heard as a glimpse of Pyrrha's hand raised while holding her spear was seen.
At that, Pyrrha gasped and opened her eyes, returning herself to reality as she looked around. She was home and was still in her battle armor as she soon realized why.
"Pyrrha?" She could hear her father call out to her and turned to see him. A large, muscular man was what Alexandros was, with reddish brown hair and a beard as he sported brown and bronze armor with a red cloak. Yeah you definitely know who we're basing this off of.
(No regrets. Definitely)
"Father." Pyrrha responded, herself and her armor was almost the same from the one in the audience, with a few key differences. Her corset was replaced with a muscular breastplate with a noticeable bust and lacked a gorget, a larger and armored battle skirt replaced her mini skirt and sash and had a sheathed xiphos hanging on her left hip, she had forearm gauntlets with fingerless gloves and she wore heeled armored boots. Additionally, her circlet was smaller, thinner and simpler. Finally, her hair was somewhat shorter and was worn in a high ponytail.
As for her weapons, she wielded a simple, yet ornate spear and a beautifully crafted Aspis shield with a Lambda symbol engraved on it.
Suffice to say, some were surprised at how drastically different, yet still similar the on-screen Pyrrha looked. Even Pyrrha herself thought that her other looked more mature and more like an actual warrior than a tournament fighter.
Jaune, however, while he did notice that Pyrrha looked to be more protected with all that armor (Something that he might potentially discuss with his partner in the future), he found himself blushing at the fact that the armor made his partner a lot... hotter, than he'd like to admit.
"You are hesitating?" Alexandros asked, as it sounded less as a question and more as a statement.
"No Father." Pyrrha replied as her father chuckled briefly.
"There is no shame in admitting that you seek a far more formidable fighter than who you face in the Mistral Colosseum." Pyrrha sighed at her father's words.
"And yet I find myself hesitating, knowing I have to leave you and Mother behind for Vale." She looked away, ashamed.
Blake looked down sadly, having done that herself. She was then comforted by her parents, who sat down behind her.
Alexandros walked towards his daughter and placed a gentle hand on her cheek, making Pyrrha look up at him.
"We are not going anywhere, my daughter." Alexandros said with a smile.
"And your mother and I understand your decision, however I see in your eyes that you seek something else in Vale." The Nikos father had a teasing glint in his eyes. "Perhaps someone?"
Pyrrha's eyes widened and stepped away with a blush.
"Don't be silly Father!" She said. "I seek only a rival, nothing more!"
The banter earned some good chuckles from the audience.
"I'm not so sure about that." Yang narrowed her eyes at the blushing Spartan with a grin.
"A rival? Sure..." Coco added, lowering her sunglasses doubtfully.
Alexandros laughed. "Well, there is only so much we can be so sure of before destiny steers our certainty off course."
"But anyway." He decided to ask, "You stand by your decision then?"
Pyrrha stayed silent before looking at her father with a determined flare in her eyes that said it all.
"Very well." Alexandros said, beckoning his daughter to follow him. "Then I will see if you are truly ready for Vale."
"You and your old man are gonna spar?!" Nora gasped and shook Pyrrha, who herself was excited but a little scared. Her father, after all, was also a former tournament fighter and was practically her role model.
"Yeah, if it was me against him, I'd definitely be a pancake." Jaune gulped, fighting Cardin was enough for him, thank you very much.
"This is gonna be good!" Ruby said excitedly.
"Hell yeah!" Yang bumped her fists together.
"Been a while since we've seen ol' Alex fight." Qrow chuckled as Taiyang and Summer nodded.
"I'll be fighting you, Father?" Pyrrha asked excitement in her voice.
"As much as I would like to enjoy it, no." Alexandros responded, which confused the young Nikos.
Pyrrha was also confused.
"Aww." Nora pouted as did the others who were eager to see the father-daughter pair spar.
"So, who then?" Sun asked as no one answered.
"You will be fighting one of your friends today." Alexandros explained. "He's actually in the atrium waiting for us right now."
As they entered the atrium, Pyrrha saw a boy her age adorned in sleek gold and dark blue armor over aqua blue, jade and emerald undergarments. He had light blue hair that matched his eyes and was twirling a golden trident.
"Neptune?" Pyrrha called out as the boy turned to her with a pleasant smile.
"Hello, Nikos." He greeted with a bow.
"Me?!" Neptune exclaimed, seeing himself be the one fighting the champ.
"Good luck." Sun patted his friend's back.
Weiss blushed at how dashing Neptune on-screen looked with the armor he wore.
"A good look, Water Boy." Coco commented. "A little better than what you're rocking currently, but it would help if he wasn't barefoot."
Neptune, a little miffed at the nickname, looked at himself, then at his other version and was slightly self-conscious. But noticed that his other, indeed, had no Timbs, no Jordans, and no Crocs.
"I assume you are ready, Neptune?" Alexandros asked.
"Yes sir," Neptune nodded as he looked at Pyrrha with a charming grin.
"I won't be holding back, so I find it best that you show me the same courtesy." He challenged as Pyrrha returned his grin, walking to the center where they both stood.
"Today is a fine day for a spar." Alexandros spoke from the side. "For while the Gods have seen who shall win this brawl, you two will make their will known!"
At that, both combatants slammed their polearms to the ground twice before they took a few steps back and lowered into a battle stance.
(Wow, you really are going all out with the references, huh? YUP!)
"This is going to be a magnificent duel!" Port jovially said.
"Indeed, Peter." Ozpin agreed, eager to see his own student and Lionheart's fight it out in a way that he has not seen in ages.
"Go Pyrrha!" Nora and Ruby cheered, waving flags with the redhead's face on it.
"Kick his ass!" Yang roared out.
"Your friends seem to be a jovial bunch." Kali said to her daughter.
"Yeah, I guess they are." Blake grinned.
Pyrrha looked at her friends in appreciation, their cheers were different from usual and she was glad for it. She then felt a hand on her shoulder and turned to see Jaune with fire in his eyes.
"You got this, partner." He said.
"Thank you, Jaune." Pyrrha replied, a faint blush in her cheeks.
"You got this, man." Sun elbowed his friend lightly, Sage and Scarlet nodded in agreement.
"Thanks guys." Neptune said, as he looked around, only to see Weiss from the corner of his eye looking at him with a look that said it all
You can do it, Neptune!
He smiled, glad that his Snow Angel cheered him on in silence.
Pyrrha took a deep breath, as did Neptune.
"Begin!"
Wasting no time, she charged with a thrust from her spear. Only for Neptune to deflect it with the shaft of his trident, Pyrrha tried to bash him with her shield, once again Neptune deflected it with the trident's shaft.
Going on the offensive, Neptune thrusted at the redhead using the bottom end of his trident, but Pyrrha used her shield to block it.
Pyrrha tried to thrust once again with her spear, but Neptune jumped back, gaining distance from her.
They circled each other, waiting for the other to strike as they did some faints here and there.
The audience waited, some were on the edge of their seats.
"Come on, come on!" Nora muttered.
Suddenly, Pyrrha charged forward again and Neptune braced as he expected her to thrust again but was surprised when the redhead threw her shield at him.
Neptune deflected the shield as it flew away, only for Pyrrha to attack with another spear thrust, he deflected the thrust with the throngs of his trident but Pyrrha used the momentum as she delivered a kick to the trident user's face, which landed.
"Oh..." Some cringed while Neptune took a sharp breath, touching his own face where the kick landed.
"And that's the first strike from Miss Nikos!" Port bellowed out, practicing his commentary for the tournament.
"Yeah!" Nora cheered.
As Neptune staggered, Pyrrha wasted no time in attacking, but the boy recovered quickly as he was hit several times by Pyrrha's spear but successfully parried a strike directed at his head and directed it downwards to give him an opening.
That opening happened to be a headbutt by Neptune, which stunned the redhead briefly as Neptune took to the offensive and swung his trident at Pyrrha's head, but the redhead saw it coming and ducked under, the attack missed completely.
Pyrrha then gained distance by Spartan kicking Neptune away from her, just in time for her to use her semblance to retrieve her shield.
"Oh and a counter by way of a headbutt from Mr. Vasilias!" Oobleck commentated.
"But luckily Miss Nikos ducked under that fatal swing, otherwise it would not have been pretty." Port added, their commentary earned sweatdrops from their colleagues.
"They are too into this." Glynda deadpanned.
"It does go to show they are qualified for being the commentary." Ozpin chuckled.
Groaning, Neptune sidestepped another charge attack from Pyrrha and thrusted towards her head again, only to be blocked by her shield.
"You and your shield." Neptune said, ducking under a swing from Pyrrha's spear and using his trident to sweep her legs, which connected as the champion fell.
Pyrrha rolled backwards into a flip to narrowly dodge a slam from Neptune's trident as she recovered her footing.
"You and your trident." Pyrrha said back, earning a chuckle from the blue-haired boy.
"I try." Neptune replied before Pyrrha charged again, with him charging back as their attacks met.
Pyrrha then twirled her spear and into a upward swing, directed towards Neptune's jaw but he parried it downwards and thrusted towards Pyrrha's head with the bottom end of his trident, only for Pyrrha's shield to intercept the attack.
Neptune quickly spun around to avoid another spear thrust and used his momentum to go for a faint swing towards Pyrrha's head and she fell for it, pulling her shield towards her head as Neptune suddenly changed attacks and twirled his trident for an upward swing towards her jaw.
Pyrrha cursed for falling for a faint but as a last resort, she used her semblance to misdirect Neptune's attack as the bottom end of the trident swerved off to the side, missing her entirely as she went on the initiative.
Pyrrha sidestepped, letting Neptune stumble as she bashed his side with her shield and went on an onslaught of thrusts and swings with her spear.
Grunting at the attacks, Neptune managed to parry another thrust with his trident, but this time Pyrrha was having none of it, she proceeded land a backhanded strike at Neptune's temple with the side of her shield, stunning him further.
Neptune went for a wild swing, but Pyrrha slid under and swept at his legs, tripping him as he fell. As Neptune turned, he was faced with a spearhead and one Pyrrha Nikos.
Neptune looked to his side and saw that his sparring partner kicked his weapon away from reach, he looked back at her and raised his hands.
"Alright, you got me." He said with an amused grin at the sight of his friend's serious face. "I yield."
Cheers were heard from the Beacon students.
"That was some fight Peter, but it was another win for Miss Pyrrha Nikos!" Oobleck announced.
"As expected." Weiss said with a grin but looked at Neptune, who was a little distraught and shot him an encouraging smile and nod.
"You did it!" Jaune tackled his partner in a hug, which made them crash onto the floor, he released her from the hug and rambled. "I mean, of course you did, you're awesome and pretty and all, I mean you're pretty awesome is what I meant to say, so..."
"Um, Jaune?"
"Yes, Pyr?" Jaune replied, looking at his partner, who was blushing up a storm as he then saw and realize that he was on top of her and she was below him and it was in front of EVERYBODY and you know the drill by now.
"HEY! No booping until the next intermission, 'kay?" Billy spoke up with a shit eating grin.
"Aw, I was gonna say that." Nora slumped but recovered as she stared at the Arkos duo, matching Billy's grin. "But yes, no booping please."
Both were a blushing mess when they returned to their seats.
"Let's not... talk about... you know." Jaune stammered as his partner nodded furiously.
Neptune sighed but Sun just patted his back.
"Ah, don't sweat it, buddy." He said. "It was a close fight anyways."
Pyrrha then helped Neptune up as he retrieved his trident.
"It was a close fight, that I will admit." Pyrrha said, earning a scoff from her friend.
"Close? I didn't even get to use my semblance!" Neptune pouted, making Pyrrha roll her eyes.
"See? Even the other Pyrrha thinks it too!" Sun said, only then realizing what Neptune on-screen said. "Wait what?"
Neptune was also shocked, it was one thing to see himself fight the Pride of Mistral, but it was another thing entirely to see himself complain about not using his semblance, the one thing that he strictly avoided to use at all costs unless the situation is dire enough. It made him jealous of his other but at the same time, curious. Did his other go through the same experience as he had? If he did, it made him wonder.
What did he do to overcome his fear? And how?
Neptune sighed but walked towards his friend and proceeded to embrace her nonetheless.
"Safe travels, Pyrrha." He said.
"Thank you." Pyrrha replied as they pulled back from the hug.
The hug was quite surprising for some and for others, COUGH Weiss COUGH, it was concerning.
"Uh... what's going on...?" Neptune asked, a little confused and concerned considering the look on Weiss' face.
Anon sighed, but nonetheless gave the context. "Neptune and Pyrrha here are simply brothers-in-arms, considering they trained together for a long time."
Weiss sighed silently in relief, but Ruby found the friendship between Neptune and Pyrrha to be simply adorable.
"Aw, that's just like us, Weiss!" Ruby hugged her partner. "Besties!"
"You dolt." Weiss said but smiled.
"You both have done well!" Alexandros stepped in and patted their shoulders before looking at Neptune. "In fact, we discussed things with Saturn and we both decided that you should go with Pyrrha, perhaps you might see Sun on the way there. I hear he is on his way home but decided to stop by Vale for their festival."
"Well then, our world is getting smaller by the minute." Neptune joked, earning a giggle from the redhead.
"Perhaps." Pyrrha said as the screen dimmed to black before it lit up to the four panels where Pyrrha's portrait is now shown with her striking a pose like Jaune and Nora, with the letter P below her.
Thus ended the viewing of Pyrrha's trailer.
"And that's it!" Billy said.
"Okay, that fight was awesome." Sun commented. "Also, I'm there?! Sweet."
"To be fair, all of you will be in that universe." Anon said. "We weren't joking when we said that universe was big."
"You hear that, Bun? We might do some awesome stuff." Coco elbowed the rabbit faunus beside her.
"Y-yeah." Velvet stuttered out with a smile.
"BUT ANYWAYS." Billy spoke. "We will now proceed to our next world or universe or whatever."
"Yup. Fun's not over yet, folks." Anon smirked.
