After raising the morning sun Celestia walked out of her chambers on her way to breakfast but on the way she noticed that Luna's chamber doors were still open much to her surprise.
"Hm this is strange Luna never leaves her door open like this I'd better check this out first breakfast can wait but my only sister can not" said Celestia as she walked into Luna's room quietly and was met with quite a sight of the state Luna's room was in.
There were unfinished scrolls scattered everywhere on the floor near her desk most likely a bunch of unfinished checklists of everyponies dreams she visited that night or was planning to and as for Luna she was collapsed on her bed her royal wear still on her and her covers were messed up causing celestia to chuckle a little apparently Luna had forgotten to tidy up but Celestia didn't seem to mind after all this used to happen a lot when they were growing up so she straightened everything out before approaching her sleeping sister and giving her a gentle tap.
"Uh Celestia what time is it dear sister?" asked Luna groggily as she woke up and sat up.
"It's 7 in the morning Luna" said Celestia smiling.
"7 in the morning oh no I'm late to lower the moon" said Luna as she tried getting out of bed but didn't quite make it out.
"It's ok Luna i did it for you for a thousand years when you were gone and it's already done now" said Celestia helping her sister out of bed.
"Ugh my stomach feels so weird today" said Luna as she walked to her bathroom to wash up but when she got to the open toilet she started throwing up before collapsing onto the floor.
"Luna I'm coming" shouted Celestia rushing to her sister's side to comfort her.
"Oh sister I don't feel so good" said luna groaning from where she lay on the floor she looked extremely tired.
"Luna why not I have somepony get the nurse while we order some food for you after all when was the last time you ate something?" asked Celestia.
"Not since dinner last night for you sister but for me that was breakfast" said Luna as she laid down in her bed while Celestia called one of her servants.
"Oh you're highness what could I do for you" asked the servant pony.
"My sister hasn't eaten anything since last night could you bring us something to eat and send somepony to get the nurse?" asked Celestia.
"Of course" said the servant pony before he left to do his duty.
A few minutes later the servant pony came back with a cart of breakfast foods and drinks on a cart and the royal nurse beside him who was carrying her medical supplies with her.
"Here you are plenty of breakfast foods for you both and I brought the nurse to examine Luna" said the servant pony before bowing.
"Thank you" said princess Celestia before the servant pony left.
"Hello princess Celestia I heard that you're sister needs medical attention" said the royal nurse pony named Grace Michelle.
"Yes Luna has been complaining that her stomach doesn't feel good she actually threw up this morning before you were able to come" said Celestia helping herself to some pancakes with butter on them.
"I see Luna do you mind if I scan you very quickly" asked Grace.
"Not at all" said Luna before the nurse pony walked over to Luna who was in her bed and started scanning her with a healing spell.
Luna stayed very still as Grace scanned her and when she was done she asked Luna some questions like did anything hurt what did she eat last and a few other odd questions that took a bit of Luna's time to answer but once that was done Grace just smiled.
"Congratulations Princess Luna you are pregnant expecting a foal we don't know if it'll be a filly or a colt for right now so we advise you to eat and rest and don't worry about your duties on raising the moon celestia said she would handle it" said Grace before she left.
"I guess I'm getting my wish after all sister it will be worth it in the end but now that i know that I'll be having a foal i need to try and eat something" said Luna looking over the food options in front of her.
"I'd probably suggest something not too heavy but filling for your breakfast luna like maybe some fruit salad" suggested celestia as she watched luna looking at all the food.
"Actually Sister i was thinking about having fruit faced pancakes" said luna reaching over to the stack of pancakes celestia had taken her share from earlier.
"Ok just don't eat too much or too fast" said celestia as she ate her share of the breakfast.
"Oh celestia should we tell twilight and her friends the wonderful news" asked luna as she ate.
"Absolutely luna this will be wonderful news to share with them and I'll invite shining armor and cadance too and let them bring flurry heart too" said celestia.
