He was excited about this one.

Stepping inside, he paid the front and was given bowling shoes his size. While changing, he heard the sounds of bowling pins being struck, echoing down the large building.

He tested the bowling shoes by tapping and rolling his feet to ensure his laces were tight but not too uncomfortable.

"Oh, look who it is!"

Lincoln turned his head to the happy-sounding voice and saw someone familiar. It was the blond-haired fighter at the Big Boss tournament. The man wore a fancy black jacket over a white t-shirt and jeans. Like Lincoln and the other people playing, he also wore bowling shoes.

"Oh! Terry, right?" Lincoln asked.

He nodded, putting up his fist. "And you're Lincoln. Glad you didn't forget about me."

Lincoln fist bumped him and said, "Coincidence seeing you here. You like bowling?"

"I guess you could say that." He shrugged. "One of my more favorable activities. Wanna come play with me and my boys? Or do you have your own group?"

Lincoln smiled. "Sure! I can join you! I don't have anyone with me today."

"Well let's fix that! I'll introduce you, we're about to start a second game." Terry wrapped an arm around Lincoln's shoulder, bringing him over to his group of friends.

Terry introduced him, and immediately Lincoln found that his friends were some big fans of his. They must've been watching the tourney because Terry was participating, so they saw Lincoln fight if that were the case.

They played a couple of rounds of bowling. Terry and his friends were good, but Lincoln wasn't too bad, even though he never came out on top. If he threw the ball like a baseball, using his strength, it wouldn't be a challenge. But of course, that isn't how you normally play bowling. There was even a sign restricting energy use. Lincoln doubted he'd use his even if it weren't a rule. It would just take the fun out of the sport.

He didn't win, but he sure had fun and met some cool people too. They took a quick lunch break and played a second game before Lincoln excused himself.
