On the next day, after telling Tui about Tara's situation, he agrees to let them go back to the Norse Region to find Jade. They all headed out first thing in the morning. Keoni's sisters and their dragons came along for the journey as they wanted to see where Malie lives. They all rest up for the night before they set off to the Norse Region. Although Tara was a bit lazy as she was going to sleep through until Heihei woke her up by pecking her face gently. Tara swatted him away in her sleep, but the chicken was persistent and continuous pecking her. Annoyed and awakened, Tara grabs the chicken and lifts him up and faces him with a blank look on her face.

"You're lucky that I can't eat you." Tara said to the chicken dangerously.

Heihei, being not fazed by this, continuously pecks her by the nose. It didn't harm her, but it did annoy her. Tara put Heihei down and got off her sleeping mat as she headed out of the room to see Moana and Aliikai getting ready. Upon seeing Tara, they smiled.

"Hey, Tara. Ready to go?" Moana asked her.

"Sure am, though I didn't like the part of being rudely woken up." Tara stated while giving Heihei a small glare when he walked past her.

Moana chuckles a bit. "Sorry about Heihei, he tends to be like that." Tara raised a brow at her, causing Moana to quickly add, "Okay, all the time. But you'll warm up to him eventually."

Tara rolled her eyes. "Riiiggghhhttt…so, are we heading off?"

"Yup. But first, here." Malie added Tara her clothes that were now neatly clean and fixed. "The weavers fixed up your clothes for you."

Tara grins happily as she takes her clothes. "Sweet! Can't wait to change off this dress." Tara said happily before noticing Moana was giving her a look, quickly adding. "No offense."

"None taken…I guess." Moana mutters with a shrug.

Tara was now wearing her old but now fixed clothes as she and the others left the hut and towards the beach. There, they met up with the others. They said their farewells to the people, they sailed off through the ocean. Mistral opens the passageway to the Norse Region, allowing them to cross. It was cold there, but they got used to it. Tara enjoyed sailing through the ocean, it felt like when she was traveling with her mother when she was young. It brought bitter-sweet memories for Tara as she breathes in the salty air.

"Are you okay?" Tara heard Moana from behind.

Turning around, Tara saw Moana and Aliikai standing behind her, faces showing concern. Tara simply nodded her head as she looked back to the ocean.

"Yeah…it's been a while since I've been on a boat. It brought…some bitter-sweet memories of my past." Tara answered almost softly.

"Oh…I'm sorry." Moana apologized.

Tara shook her head with a smile. "No need, Moana, I'm fine. It feels good to be sailing through the ocean again."

Moana smiles back before Mistral lands on her shoulder. "Hey, Mistral." Moana greeted.

Mistral chirps happily and nuzzles Moana, making her giggle. Mistral then turned towards Tara, chirping at her innocently. Tara smiled and outreaches her hand, allowing the Wisp Dragon to sniff at it, before nuzzling her hand gently.

"Aawww, she really likes you." Moana said with a smile as Mistral slithered her way through Tara's arm before wrapping around the Lycanwing girl's neck gently, nuzzling her face.

Tara smiles and pats Mistral's head, earning purrs from the dragon. "Yeah, I get that with all the dragons."

"Really?" Moana asked as they went over to the others.

"Well, not all the dragons. There are some dragons that are not so friendly." Tara said.

"That doesn't sound good." Makala said.

Tara nodded her head. "Oh, it is. There are dragons that are not so friendly with humans or other dragons. For example, Slitherwing dragons. Mystery Class dragons with snake-like bodies with wings. They're cannibalistic and extremely poisonous." She explained to the group.

"Wait a scale, you encounter Slitherwing dragons?!" Gil exclaimed in shock.

Tara nodded her head with her arms crossed. "Eeyup, they weren't friendly with greetings as they tried to rip my face off, I barely got off their island alive."

"How dangerous are Slitherwings?" Keilani asked Gil.

"From what I heard from Jade, Slitherwing is known to have the deadliest poison in the world." Gil explained to them. "They're bodies are coated in poison. One touch can kill anyone by the next moon."

"Dang, now that is one dragon I do NOT want to meet." Maui said, leaning at his hook while Mini-Maui nods in agreement.

Tara nodded in agreement with a fellow Demigod. "Ya got that right. If not treated with an antidote, that victim is good as dead."

"Do you know the ingredients for the antidote for Slitherwing poison?" Lanuola asked, patting her Grapple Grounder.

Coral, riding on Shocker's back, nodded with her head. "Yup! Gil and I read about it back at Jade's home."

Gil nodded his head. "Yes, but the ingredients can only be found on land. The antidote is a combination of angel fern root, pine sap, and Slitherwing venom." He listened out.

Maui gave him the 'you're joking?' look. "You're joking, right? There is no way on earth can someone get Slithering venom."

"True, but there are possibilities." Gil said while rubbing his chin. "You could make a Slitherwing to spit out its venom by making it miss, collect it in a jar, and ran away."

"That's…that's actually smart." Maui said to Gil.

"Yeah, though you have to be fast enough to dodge those venoms." Gil added.

"Not helping." Maui said blankly, earning laughs from the group.

They sailed through the ocean, heading towards their destination. Tara asked Malie, Gil, and Coral about the Kingdom of Aquatica, curious about it and its culture. They were happy to explain to their friend, who was curious about their home. No long afterwards, they reach a certain area that they are all familiar with. Tara looked at the middle of the ocean, unsure where they were. She thought they were going to Aquatica.

"Uh…guys? Are we lost?" Tara suddenly asked.

Moana giggles a bit. "No, Tara, we're not lost."

"But we're in the middle of nowhere." Tara stated out. "This isn't the way to Aquatica, is it?"

"Oh, it is." Coral answered happily. "You just have to dive in!"

With that, Coral and Gil jumped in the water with Makaio, Shocker, Inka, and Sheldon. Tara was surprised by this. She didn't see that coming. She went to the edge to see them resurfacing from. Coral gestured to them to jump in.

"Come on! The water is just right!" Coral said before diving in.

"What?" Tara spoke in confusion, wondering what's going on.

Luckily, Malie was there with the answer. "Aquatica is an underwater kingdom and we have to swim there."

"Yeah, here's another question, how do you expect us to swim there? We can't exactly hold our breath that long!" Tara asked them sarcastically.

"That is why we have these." Keoni opens a clamshell that has pink pearls inside. "These will help us breathe underwater."

Tara looked at the pearls before taking a pearl from the clamshell and observed it. "Where did you get these?"

"Jade gave it to us." Moana answered, walking towards her boyfriend. "They can be useful when we come to visit Aquatica."

"Huh, useful." Tara complimented as each of them grabbed a pearl as well as the dragons. "Bottoms us."

They all ate their pearls together, except for Malie. She jumped in the water as she transformed into her mermaid form before the others jumped off the boat with her. When they were underwater, Tara couldn't help but gasps in shock to see that she can now breathe underwater. It was amazing! Tara swims around her friends with amazing speed, laughing with pure joy.

"This is awesome!" Tara exclaimed in pure joy.

"You think this is awesome? Wait till you see Aquatica." Gil said, swimming over to her.

Tara looked at him. "Lead the way, sea people."

Gil, Coral, and Malie lead the group to Aquatica. They got a ride on their dragons since they are much faster swimmers than they are. Though Tara was faster than them since she loved to swim when she was little, and she was able to catch up to them. It wasn't long for them to reach the kingdom's borders. Tara couldn't help but gawked as they saw through the arch entrance as she admired the underwater kingdom. But was cut short when she was startled by loud trumpets being blown, followed by allowed announcement.

"Princess Malie has returned!"

Tara's eyes widened as she heard that. She looks over to Malie with wide and shocked eyes while the mermaid gives Tara sheepish smile. "You're the princess?!"

"Ehehe…sorry, it slipped my mind." Malie said truthfully while rubbing the back of her neck.

"Girl, seriously, how did you forget to mention that!" Tara exclaimed before adding. "So, like, you're what? Heir to the throne?"

Malie shook her head. "No, I'm third in line. My older brother, Nereus, is next in line to the throne."

"And who's the second?" Tara asked, swimming besides her.

"My twin brother, Jetty." Malie answered.

"Diiiidddd someone call my name?"

They all looked up ahead to see Jetty swimming over to them with his dolphin named Finn. Malie smiled as she swam towards him and the twins embraced each other with a hug.

"Hello, Jetty." Malie greeted with a smile as they let go of the hug.

Jetty grins at her. "Hello to you too, little sis." He then looked at her friends. "Hey, guys, welcome back."

"Hey, Jetty." The group, minus Tara, greeted him back with a smile.

Jetty then spots Tara at the group, he was not familiar with her, since he only knows Malie's friends. "Who's this?"

Coral swam over to Tara with a smile. "This Tara! She's our new friend!"

"Really?" Jetty raised a brow at them.

"Yes, and we need to find Jade. We need her." Malie said to her twin brother.

"Well you guys are in luck." Jetty said happily. "Jade's at the palace with our parents and Nereus."

"That's great." Moana said with a smile.

"Follow me, guys." Jetty said while winking at Makala, who blinked at him in surprise.

They followed the merprince through the kingdom, being greeted by other merfolks and amphibian people. The others greeted them back as they swam towards the palace. There, they were greeted by the guards before they were escorted inside, and towards the throne room. When they arrived, they saw King Seaton and Queen Vivia were sitting on their thrones while Nereus stood beside his father. And on the center stood Jade. The mermaid mage was talking with them about an important matter. But they stopped when they spotted the group coming. Queen Vivia was delighted to see her daughter as she swam over to her daughter and hugged her, who also returned the hug.

"Welcome back, Malie." Queen Vivia said with joy as she let go of the hug.

Malie smiled at her mother. "Thank you, Mother. I hope we didn't bother anyone."

"Nonsense me dear." King Seaton swims over to them with Nereus. "It is nice to see you all again."

"Thank you, Father." Malie said with a smile.

"So, what brings you all here? The Dragon Festival isn't coming until two more days." Nereus said.

"We know, we just came here to see Jade." Moana said to the king as she swam over to Tara and placed a hand on her shoulder. "You see, our friend here, Tara, has a…a problem."

"Problem? What kind of problem?" Nereus suddenly asked.

Maui was the one trying to make the right sentence. "Well, you see…Tara is a uh…"

"Lycanwing." Jade suddenly finished.

They all turned to Jade with wide and surprised eyes. Jade knew already what Tara is so easily, it was amazing yet creepy at the same time since she somehow figured it out on her own. Jade swims over to Tara and looks her in the eye. Their different color eyes stared back at each other. It was like Jade was reading Tara as if she was some sort of book.

"I can see in your eyes that you had this power at such a young age." Jade said as she looked at Tara's emerald green eyes. "Your power was so great that you tried to counsel it, fearing the humans will hunt you down."

"…Yes…how did you-"

Jade cuts Tara off as she continues. "Through your eyes, I can see what you have been through in the past. You had this curse your whole life and you know WHO gave it to you."

Tara clenches her fist along with her jaw, her pupils forming into silts, as she growled out a name in hate. "Loki."

"Wait, the Trickster God?" Jetty suddenly spoke in surprise. "He gave her the Lycanwing curse?"

"Remember the lessons that your teachers in Aquatica taught you." Jade explained to Jetty and the other Sea people. "It was Lord Draco who made a Lycanwing as a guardian to protect their realm." She gestured to Moana and her friends. "But it was stolen by Loki as he used it as a cruel joke for the unexpected Viking."

"I remember that tale." Nereus said. "The cursed Viking wandered through his world, never being spotted by man."

"Fearing that he will be hunted like all dragon kinds." Jade finished his sentence before turning to the group. "And you all came this way to see if I have the answer you seek."

"…Well, yeah." Keoni was the one who hesitantly answered. "Um…do you have the answers?"

"Luckily for you all, yes I do." Jade responded, earning a sigh of relief from the group, but they looked at her again when she added. "But the answer is not here."

"You have the answers but they're not here?" Maui asked in confusion.

Jade nodded. "Indeed, the answer you seek lies somewhere else." She explained.

"…Huh?" Maui asked in confusion, clearly not getting her riddles.

"I think Jade is saying that the answer that we seek is somewhere else but not here on Aquatica." Gil said, figuring out the puzzle of Jade's words before his eyes widen in realization. "Wait, are you taking us to…"

Jade smiles at him. "Indeed so, Gil. And I will all take you there if the king allows it."

They all turned to the king with pleading eyes, hoping the king would agree. King Seaton thinks about it. He knows what Jade means. And going there could be risky. But he has the authority in doing so and they have a very strong guardian. He's talking about Cayden the Vahlok, not Maui. And with Jade, they will have a safe guide.

"Very well." King Seaton said before taking out his trident. The golden trident glowed brightly before it summoned six medallions that had the symbol of the trident. Those medallions float towards Moana, Keoni, his sisters, Tara, and Maui. "Take these medallions, it will allow you seven to have passage."

"What about Malie, Gil, and Coral?" Moana asked the king as they took their medallions.

"No need to worry, they are allowed to go where you seek." King Seaton said to them.

"Follow me, everyone. And I will show you the answer." Jade said to them before swimming away.

They said their farewells to the royal family before they followed Jade to a curtain destination. Jetty and Finn would've come but they have something to do first. So, the group swims after Jade, following the mage mermaid in wonder. Soon, Jade swam up to the surface with the others close by before they resurfaced through the water and then gasped in shock at what they saw. In front of them was a big and beautiful island, much like Motunui, but the trees have different colors. And it appears to have a giant waterfall at the horizon.

"Woah! What is this place?" Moana asked in shock.

"Get on your dragons and have a better look." Jade said to them.

Listening to her words, they got on their dragons. Tara got Aliikai with Moana while Jade was with Cayden and Malie. Maui turns into a giant as they descend to the sky. Upon the sky, the group gasped in shock and amazement.

Below them was not one, but three islands. They were in different shapes and sizes and had various colored trees. The group were amazed to see three beautiful islands. Though something was special with those islands. They have these weird energies that seem to draw the dragons, Tara, and Maui as well. Even their human friends could feel it too, but they don't know why.

"Jade…where are we?" Moana asked the mermaid mage.

Jade gestured the islands with her arm. "We're in a special place, a safe haven for all magical creatures and dragons. This is the Enchanted Islands."

"Enchanted Islands?" Keoni repeated in amazement.

"Yes." Gil was the one who answered. "The Enchanted Islands are home to all magical creatures. Free from the humans' persecution."

"What, really?" Moana spoke in shock and surprise, earning a nod from Gil. "If so, then they don't trust humans coming here!"

"True, they do not trust humans, but they trust you all." Jade said to Moana and the others.

"Wait, what?" Keilani asked in confusion. "Why?"

"Do you recall your first chief, the Great Matai Vasa?" Jade asked, earning a nod from the humans. "He and his people met the first King of Aquatica, King Destan, and were brought here years ago to meet with the other magical beings. They share everything together and would promise to visit Enchanted Islands whenever a new chief comes of age. Until…"

"Until the darkness came, blocked the entrance, and ruined their unity. We get it." Maui said, still feeling of guilt inside of him.

"My apologies, Maui. However, you have redeemed yourself as a hero to all. After all, all of you return of Princess Malie back home and save Aquatica from a rampaging Submaripper-"

"Which we named Tilly." Coral added with a smile.

"-King Seaton told other magical beings of her return and how you all risk your lives to save Aquatica. And thus, earning the magical beings' trust and remembering the kind people of Motunui." Jade said to them with a smile.

"Wow…who knew there's more to our history than we thought." Makala said in awe.

"Indeed, now we must go, your answer is there in the middle island." Jade points at the middle island.

"Are you sure? I mean, what about you?" Malie asked Jade in concern.

"Do not worry about me. I have my ways." Jade said mysteriously.

"If you say so…" Malie said as they told their dragons to land. And they did, they landed at the beach, but made sure to be close to the water since they were concerned about Jade. However, when they landed, Jade's tail started to glow brightly before it turned into legs. They were shocked to see that, especially Malie, as Jade gets off Cayden with ease as she wears her upper clothing with a long jade green sarong skirt.

"There, that takes care of that." Jade said calmly before noticing the shock looks of the group. "Ah, my apologies, I forgot to mention that I am the only mermaid, besides Malie, that can turn my tail into legs when I touch land."

"You should have told us before we landed." Keilani pointed out, still shocked at what she and the others had seen.

Jade chuckles lightly. "I'll make sure to inform you before I do something like that again." She said with a wink.

Tara leans over to Moana and whispers. "Is she always this mysterious?"

"Yeah, very much." Moana whispers back.

"Come along now, we have to get there before dark." Jade said as she started walking.

"Why?" Tara asked.

"It's not easy for some of us to walk at night." Jade answered casually before they continued walking.

The group looked at each other with uncertainty before they followed the mysterious merwoman to the jungle's path. As they follow Jade, they admire the beautiful jungle before them. It wasn't like any other jungles that they explored in their home. Malie saw a beautiful tropical flower close by and admires it. She was going to sniff at it until it moved and formed into a little flower sprite, surprising Malie.

"Oh!" Malie gasped in surprise, startling the group and the sprite.

"Wow! What is that?" Moana asked curiously, looking at the cute flower sprite.

Jade smiled as she walked over to the sprite, which relaxed as it saw Jade, who picked the flower sprite gently with both her hands. "This is a flower sprite."

"A flower sprite?" Keoni asked curiously.

"Yes, they are known to be Faerie or Fey, magical creatures that lived in these islands." Jade explained to the group.

"Wow!" Everyone said in amazement as they looked at the fey.

The little flower sprite blinks at them curiously before fluttering over to Moana. The two made eye contact before the little sprite spotted Moana's necklace. It made small chirping sounds as she recognized Moana's necklace. Moana watched the sprite curiously as she hugs Moana's face.

"What is she doing?" Moana asked Jade as the little sprite hugged her face.

"It appears that this little sprite has recognized your ancestry." Jade explained to her.

"Wait, she knows about Matai Vasa?" Moana asked in surprise.

"Indeed, apparently that there are some Fey has not forgotten you and your people." Jade explained with a smile while the sprite floated around Moana, chirping with Joy. "And it seems that she wants to tag along."

"Really?" Moana asked as she looked at the fey, allowing her to rest the palm of her hand. "Do you want to come with us?"

The flower sprite chirps happily, wanting to come along, making Moana smile. "Okay, but you better behave."

Chirping with joy, the little sprite floats over to Aliikai, sitting on the Night Fury's head happily, making everyone smile at the scene before them. "Do you have a name?" Moana suddenly asked.

The little sprite made chirping sounds that Moana didn't quite get, but she was lucky that Jade can understand her. "Her name is Posy. She's very friendly and loves to play."

"Oh, well then, welcome to the team, Posy." Moana said kindly, earning happy chirps from Posy.

They soon continued their journey through their journey with their new sprite friend. But stopped when they faced a huge cliff that stretched across for miles. Jade informs them to get on their dragons, indicating that it'll be a lot faster if they ride on their dragons. So, they got on their dragons while Maui turned into a giant hawk before taking off to the sky. Their little sprite friend was holding onto one of Aliikai's ears as they flew above the jungle and towards a beautiful field. Their eyes widen in shock and amazement to see the big field.

"Hey, what's that?" Moana points at a curtain direction.

Jade saw what Moana was pointing at and smiled. "That is a herd of Unicorns."

"Uni-what-what?" Keilani asked in confusion.

Gil was the one who answered that. "They're called Unicorns, horse-like creatures with horns. They are embodiments of pure magic. Their horns are where their magic is stored, and they could heal any wounds or injuries of any kind if they wish."

"How'd you know that?" Hawk Maui asked through the wind.

"I read about in the library. There are other magical creatures or Fey that lived on the Enchanted Islands." Gil explained to him and the others.

"Gil is correct." Jade said, sitting behind Malie as they ride on Cayden. "The Enchanted Islands possessed many creatures of legends."

"Like what?" Lanuola asked.

Suddenly, something white zooms past them, startling the group. They followed the zooming gaze and saw a winged horse, flying through the sky with ease. "What's that!?" Keoni exclaimed in shock and surprise.

"That's a Pegasus. Like the unicorn, it is an embodiment of pure magic." Gil said with awe. "It's stronger and much faster than regular horses."

The Pegasus flew past them again as it went to its herd that were flying across the other side. They flew to another part of the island at such speed that it could rival a Night Fury. Aliikai snorted at the fast flying Pegasus, feeling adrenaline in her veins as she wanted to challenge the Pegasus. Moana could feel her dragon sister wanted to race, but they had a mission to do, as she gave Aliikai gentle pats on the side.

"No, Aliikai, we have a job to do, remember?" Moana reminded her, earning a snort from Aliikai, but the Night Fury agreed. Moana turns towards Jade. "Where to now, Jade?"

Jade points at a small figure up ahead. "Go to that structure, there you will find the answer you seek." She instructed.

"All right, you heard her, let's go!" Moana said.

They all went towards the structure. Upon further look, it looks like a temple made of marbles and pearls. It was big as it's towering figure could outmatch Tilly the Submaripper. They landed on a marble platform as they all admired the temple before them.

"What is this?" Maui asked Jade.

Jade was about to answer but Gil beat her to it as he was excited to see the temple before them. "It's the Temple of Knowledge! A place where lost, hidden, and forgotten knowledge are stored! It is a library that contains every known magic and its rich history!" He suddenly exclaimed before he quickly shut up when he noticed all eyes were looking at him. Gil laughed embarrassingly as he rubbed the back of his neck. "S-Sorry, I read about this place and I really, I mean really, wanted to go here as a kid."

Keoni pats Gil's right shoulder lightly, "It's okay, buddy."

"All right then, shall we?" Jade gestured to the temple's opening.

Jade leads the group through the temple as they stepped on the red carpet and saw that inside was huge. The walls are carved with shelves filled with books and scrolls walls. Mazes of bookshelves were everywhere. Gil admired the temple's books and scrolls while the others were fascinated by this.

"Woah! This place is huge!" Keilani exclaimed in shock.

Then numerous 'SHHH!' came, causing the oldest sister to cover her mouth. Jade softly laughs and informs her in a whisper. "You have to be quiet, there are people who want to read in peace."

"Oh, sorry." Keilani whispers in apology.

Jade smiles. "It is okay. Now, let's find the information you need about the Lycanwing." She said quietly.

"Um, just one question?" Maui whispers, raising his index finger, "How can we find it through here!?" He whispers a little louder, stating the point that the library is huge.

"Calm yourself, Maui." Jade said quietly. "We would speak to the librarian."

"Librarian? What's a librarian?" Maui asked in confusion.

Suddenly, something landed behind Maui. A towering shadowy figure loomed behind him while the others, minus Jade, stared at the figures behind Maui with wide eyes. Mini-Maui was on Maui's back and made a small and silent scream and quickly hid behind Maui's palm-tree tattoo. The Demigod gulped as he slowly turned around and nearly fainted to see a giant owl that has a slick form, black feathers, dark eyes, and a white feathery face. Maui was about to scream but stopped when Mini-Maui nudged him while shushing him behind the tattoo palm tree. Maui nodded and made a mute scream while pointing at the giant owl before him.

"Greetings, Arivu. Pardon my sudden coming." Jade said to the giant owl.

"The feeling is neutral, Lady Jade." The giant owl known as Arivu spoke, surprising everyone to hear his calm and quiet voice.

"Everyone, this Arivu. He is the ancient keeper of the Temple of Knowledge." Jade introduced quietly.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Arivu." Moana said kindly and gently before she and the others bowed at him with respect.

"Likewise. Though I am curious, what brings you here?" Arivu asked curiously.

"We came here to ask to search for the Lycanwing." Jade said to Arivu softly.

Arivu looked at her briefly before turning towards Tara. The two made eye contact as the giant owl studied her, reading her as if she was a book. "You carry the curse of Loki."

Tara blinks at him in surprise. "You know about my curse?" Tara asked him.

"Indeed, and I know that you are his spawn." Arivu added, making Tara's eyes wide even wider.

"You know that she's the daughter of Loki?" Moana asked with concern.

"Do no threat, my dear. I do not hold any grudges on her. Only her father." Arivu answered calmly.

"Wait…what did that jerk of dad do?" Tara asked in anger, crossing her arms.

"He came here before and turned all the books into book-bats." Arivu said, sounding very annoyed, causing Tara to facepalm.

"Worst. Dad. Ever." Tara mutters out slowly and annoyed.

"I didn't know that Loki did that to the Temple of Knowledge?" Gil whispers in shock.

"Believe, he did. It took me and others to fix the damage of what had been done. And made sure that he cannot enter our borders again." Arivu spoke in a serious tone.

"Again?" Keoni asked in confusion and concern.

"Once Odin found out of what Loki did to the library, he was yet again punished by being locked away for thousands of years." Arivu answered Keoni's question.

"Yeesh, now that's a punishment I do not want to have." Maui said with a shiver.

"Weren't you trapped on a deserted island for thousands of years?" Keoni pointed out.

"Shut up, Keoni." Maui mutters in annoyance.

"Since we finished with that matter." Arivu began as he turned towards Jade. "I believe we should search for the book about the Lycanwing, shall we?"

They nodded and followed the great owl quietly. They followed him through a staircase, where the group could see tables and desks in different areas with magical beings along with humanoid-like beings that were reading books or scrolls. They were curious about them very much, wondering what they were.

"Here we are." Arivu said as they made their way to a golden lectern.

"What is that?" Lanuola asked quietly while her dragon sniffs at it.

Gil gasped in admiration. "This is a magical research lectern." He said, causing everyone to look at him, "This magical item used to find books they need in a flash."

"Ah, it appears someone did some reading." Arivu said with respect, making Gil blushed in embarrassment.

"Y-Yeah, I read about it in one of Jade's books. I read so much about the ancient library of the Temple of Knowledge that I really wanted to come here as a guppy."

"Guppy?" Maui whispers to Keoni.

"When he was little." Keoni whispered back to Maui, which earned an 'Ah' from the Demigod.

"Well, it seems that you have great respect towards the Temple of Knowledge." Arivu said softly as he gestured a wing to the lectern.

Gil lights up and is about to go to the lectern but stops as he turns to Tara, who stood between Moana and Aliikai. Gil glanced over to the lectern and then to Tara. He knew that Tara should be the one doing this since she is the one who is a Lycanwing. The Lycanwing girl raises a brow, getting what he meant, as she simply shrugs and waves him off. Indicating that he should do it since he is more experienced than her. Grinning, Gil made his way to the lectern excitingly.

"How does it work?" Malie whispered curiously as Gil was on the lectern.

"It's easy, if you want the book you need, just place your hands on the lectern and say the book you are looking for. Like so." Gil explained as he placed both his webbed hands on the lectern and said. "Search for Lycanwing."

With that, a book came flying out of the top shelf and floated down towards them before landing on the lectern, opening itself to allow Gil to read it. Gil's eyes widened in fascination at the book before him. It was written in Norse and neither Moana nor her human companions could read it. Only Tara, Malie, Jade, Arivu, Gil, and Malie could read it.

"What does it say?" Moana asked Gil.

"It says the story of the Lycanwing curse originated and its purpose." Gil reads out.

"Well, we all know why he did it." Tara said in annoyance.

"But it says here that Loki did that cruel joke because he was bored." Gil reads out, earning looks from his friends. "Really, he did that because he was bored."

"…He stole Draco's Lycanwing creation and used it as a curse…because he was bored?" Tara spoke slowly with a hint of anger and annoyance.

Gil slowly hides behind the lectern while the others, minus Jade and Arivu, hide behind the dragons when they feel Tara's slowly growing anger. Posy was hiding behind one of Aliikai's ears, feeling the angry aura surrounding Tara. They all feared Tara's rising anger, fearing that she would burst into a swearing fist, but it seems that Tara knew what she was doing as she took a deep breath and sigh, releasing steam from her nose.

"Okay…okay, I'm calm. I'm calm." Tara mutters, calming her temper, before looking at Gil. "What else does the book say?"

Gil was hesitant at first but decided not to make Tara impatient. "W-Well, after Loki was punished by Odin again. The curse Lycanwing wanders throughout the land of different…regions?"

"Huh?" Everyone, minus Jade and Arivu huddled around Gil as they looked at the book's drawings. There they could see different landscapes of unknown areas that they are not familiar with. Gil flipped through pages and found more drawings of unknown places.

"Wow, I didn't know there were other regions?" Moana said in awe.

"The ocean has many secrets." Arivu began, walking over to them and placed a wing onto the book. "It is a bridge for ships to travel different lands. But it can be dangerous if you don't know where to go."

"Amazing…" Keoni's three sisters said unison.

Gil flips through the next page and to his surprise it has the picture of the first Viking that turned into a Lycanwing. "No way, it's the first Lycanwing!"

"WHAT?!" The teens and Maui exclaimed in shock, earning 'Ssshhhh!' from the people who are reading. "Sorry." They all whispered apologetically.

They looked over to Gil and saw the image of the Viking that was cursed to be a Lycanwing. He was not like the Vikings that Tara had encountered. He was tall, muscular, had brown eyes, crimson red hair, and extended goatee beard. He wears a white tunic, black pants, and fur boots.

"His name was Bjorn Askelson." Gil reads out the name of the Viking. "He was the first human to ever receive the Lycanwing curse from Loki. He wandered through the Archipelago before accidentally biting an unexpected Viking from Berk named… Kessler?"

"That's a weird name." Maui said.

"You said he was from Berk?" Malie suddenly asked. "Kessler, right?"

"That's right." Gil said with a nod. "It says here that Bjorn bit Kessler by accident since he thought he was Viking going to attack him. Bjorn felt guilty for what he did to the boy as he couldn't control the curse. So, he took him in as an apprentice, training him and teaching him how to control the curse. They both traveled through different regions, studying new lands and culture, before settling at one of the Enchanted Islands."

"Wait! They came here to the Enchanted Islands?" Tara said, peering through the book.

"Yeah, it says-WOAH!" Gil suddenly yelped when Tara pushed him off the lectern as she read the book while Gil fell on the ground with a groan.

"Tara!" The group whispered in a scolding tone as Maui helps Gil up.

"Sorry, I just need to know which island did Bjorn and Kessler stay on." Tara said, skimming through the book before flipping to the next page.

"We'll know if you hadn't pushed Gil off the lectern." Coral pointed out, concern about her best friend being pushed off like that.

"Again, sorry…Aha! Here it is! He and Kessler lived at…the Great Forest Island?" Tara reads out in confusion. "Which island is that?"

"It's the island where we are." Jade explained to her. "It is the third island and is known as the Great Forest Island, is inhabited by the Mages and other magical beings. The first island is called the Swamp Island, inhabited by the Pixies, Fairies and Sprites. And on the middle island is called the Volcanic Island, the largest of them all. It is inhabited by all kinds of Jinn.

"And lying on the center of those islands is the ancient ocean kingdom Aquatica. Forming the Mages Confederacy." Arivu added in Jade's explanation.

"Mages Confederacy?" All of them asked in unison.

"The Mages Confederacy is a community that protects all magical beings and avoids the persecution of humans. Well, not all humans are bad." Arivu stated, looking over to Moana and her friends. "We all live together in peace, there are few magical beings that live on the other two islands, but many live here at the Great Forest Island instead. You should also know the villages and kingdoms in the islands."

"Wait, Bjorn and Kessler stayed in a village?" Lanuola asked the owl librarian.

Arivu nodded. "Indeed, they have. They stayed in a village called Diamond Creek. It's there that they lived in peace, never married, as they made sure the Lycanwing curse died with them."

"That's sad." Moana said sympathetically.

"So, all the secret of the Lycanwing curse is all gone?" Tara asked, feeling angry and annoyed, feeling cheated that she didn't get the answers she seek.

"Not all secrets." Arivu stated before closing the book that Tara was reading. "Rumor has it that Bjorn left a journal to the one that also carried the curse."

"Where's his journal?" Tara suddenly demanded.

Arivu was taken aback by her sudden demand. Seeing this, Moana elbows Tara gently, causing the Lycanwing girl to look at her as Moana gave Tara a scolding look, indicating that she was being rude to the librarian. Sighing, Tara turns to Arivu with her head low a bit.

"I'm sorry…I just need to know, okay? I want to know how to deal with this…this curse that my good for nothing dad gave to me." Tara said with a hint of sadness and anger.

Arivu cocked his head like an owl would before glancing over to Jade. The mermaid mage gave the librarian a small smile and nod, indicating that he should help her since she had a difficult life, carrying a dangerous curse and being one of Loki's children. And she needed help. Arivu raises a wing, allowing one feather to fall off and floats in midair.

"Follow the feather, it will guide you to Diamond Creek." Arivu explained to the group. "And since you are wearing the symbol of Aquatica, indicates that you are friends with King Seaton."

"…Thank you." Tara said to Arivu.

Arivu nodded before they all said their thanks and left the library. They got their dragons while Maui turned into a Giant Hawk before they took off to the sky, following the black feather. They flew through the island, bewildered by the island's beauty. The trees' leaves have different colors that sparkled through the light. The group almost mistaken them as jewels. They flew above the trees and passed three connected waterfalls. The group admired the waterfalls as they flew past it before they noticed beautiful maidens were diving in and out of the water.

"Who are they?" Keilani asked Jade.

Jade looked down at the waterfalls and smiled. "Naiads. They are kind of water nymphs that live in any freshwater areas." She explained before waving at the nymphs. "Hello!"

The water nymphs looked up to see Jade and smiled before they greeted her happily. The others watched in fascination while Maui was flirting with them, finding the water nymphs incredibly attractive. But was snapped out when Cayden growled at him, indicating that he should behave. The feather soon leads them to a village where it was near a creek that sparkled through the light.

"Woah! Is this Diamond Creek?" Keoni asked in shock and amazement.

"It is." Jade said with a nod. "This village is known to have diamonds within their creeks, making a place for jewelers to make diamond accessories."

"Amazing." Gil said in awe. "Many diamonds are always found in volcanic places, but here…it's like a goldmine."

"More like a diamond mine." Hawk Maui corrected. Suddenly, the feather zooms past the village and towards the far side of the creek. "Wow! Slow down feather!"

"It seems that Bjorn and Kessler didn't live at the village." Jade said before the dragons and Hawk Maui went after the feather.

They went far from the village and to a secluded hut that was hidden with the trees. The dragons and Hawk Maui landed on the ground and watched as the feather hovered in front of the door. Tara got off Aliikai and made her way to the door as the feather suddenly vanished into thin air. Tara stopped in front of the door and looked at it. It was still in good shape, indicating that someone was tending it for years. But she can't think about that right now. She finally found the place where the answers she seeks all these years are right in there. She felt nervous and excited at the same time. She turned to her friends; they were giving her encouraging looks. Seeing this, Tara gives them a nod before taking a deep breath as she opens the door. It made a small creaking sound as Tara looked inside the dusty cabin. Everything was still in place. Not a single dust was inside the cabin. Tara walked in the cabin, followed by the others while dragons stayed outside.

Tara and the others explored through the cabin, searching for clues of where Bjorn hid his journal. Jade, Coral and Gil looked at the bookshelves while the others roamed around the cabin. Maui was looking through the empty baskets, Keoni and Moana were looking under the chairs, and the triplets were searching through the kitchen. Tara went upstairs to find their bedroom. There, she found two beds, a desk, and a chest. Tara looked through the desk before she found a note that was written by Bjorn.

"To the one who carries the Lycanwing curse, you will find the answer you seek, where the mighty beast rests." Tara reads out before arching her brow. "Where the mighty beast rests?" She mutters out before she looks over to the beds. "Where the mighty beast rests…"

Tara walked over to the bed at the left and checked to see anything. Using her advance smelling, she sniffed for any scent. So far, there was nothing here. An old scent indicates that someone younger used to sleep here.

"This must be Kessler's bed…he's not the mighty beats. He wasn't strong like the first…" Tara mutters as she looks over the bed that has the chest on the end. "I wonder…"

Tara went over to the bed with a chest. There, she looked over to the bed that might belong to Bjorn. She sniffed around, searching through the bed. There was nothing different before she noticed one of the boards was out of place. Raising a brow, she grabbed the board and with a might pull, it revealed a hidden compartment, and inside was the journal!

Tara gasps in shock and picks up the journal and notices there was a key attached to a string on the book. Tara looked at it and then to the chest, thinking that she almost solved the puzzle. Taking the key, Tara uses it to unlock the chest. She opens it and to her surprise, there was only a sword. Curious, she picked up the sword and admired it. It was well made, sharp and polished. It was not like any other sword that she had seen before. She then looks at the journal, wondering what Bjorn has written in there.

"If you have found my journal, then you consider yourself clever. This journal holds the instructions and ways to control the curse of the Lycanwing. I learn in my years carrying the curse is not an easy task-"

~Flashback (Voice Actor: Keanu Reeves) ~

The scene shows Bjorn writing his journal on his desk in the middle of the night with a candle beside him. Kessler was sleeping on his bed, snoring loudly while one of arms rested on his eyes.

"-For it requires years of training and control. The curse that you carry can be a burden. However, I can assure you, it will do great things. As I believe that turning to a dragon is a curse, but in time, I see it as a gift. A gift of opportunity to learn and understand to be a dragon. As my and my apprentice, Kessler, living among dragons, learning the truth of their origin and kind. We venture further beyond our region, finding many unknown places and lands. Until we came to this hidden world of magic, there we stayed and loved in harmony with the magical creatures that live here. In this journal that I leave behind, you will discover the truth and understanding of Lycanwing's power."

Bjorn later was seen placing the magnificent sword into the chest, locking it in.

"I leave my great sword that I made from a new metal that is indestructible and untainted. It will serve as your weapon, to be used to protect for good. As I bid you farewell, know this, there are some humans out there that will understand that your curse is a gift. Cherish them, protect them with your life, for they will fill the hole in your missing soul."

~End of Flashback~

"And never forget that you have the heart of a human and the soul of a dragon." Tara reads out to her friends outside of the cabin.

They listened to Tara the whole way as she read Bjorn's journal. It was shocking and yet sad at the same time. Bjorn and Kessler traveled beyond their region like they were. Learning and understanding their curse can be used for good. They see that turning into a dragon was a gift, to help them understand dragons and become one with them. Tara then closes the journal and holds up the sword that she was carrying. It was magnificent that it shined with the sunlight. This sword was meant to be used for good and to protect those who she cares about, and in this case, her new friends. She put the sword down and looked at her friends, a smile crept on her face. It was filled with joy and gratitude.

"Thanks guys…for being with me all the way."

Moana smiled. "You're welcome, Tara. After all, you are our Ohana."

"Ohana?" Tara repeated in confusion.

"Ohana means family. Family means nobody gets left behind or forgotten." Moana said, smiling as she hugged her dragon sister, who purred in agreement and delight.

"Y-You guys accept me as your family?" Tara stuttered.

Coral giggled and smiled. "Of course, silly! You're our friend. Right, guys?"

The others agreed with her words. Tara is a good friend to them and a new family member. She had a rough life after losing her mother. And now, she can finally be in peace thanks to them. Tara, on the other hand, couldn't help but feel great joy at their words. Tara couldn't stop the tears falling from her eyes. She wipes them away with her arms as she tries to act all tough but fails.

"T-Thanks, guys." Tara sniffled a bit. "I-I don't know what to say."

Coral suddenly gave Tara a hug. "Just say you're happy, you silly-willy!" She giggled.

Soon, the others joined in the hug, allowing the dragons, Posy, Pua and Pōkole. Heihei walked over to them and instead of hugging, he started pecking at Aliikai's tail, which she didn't mind. Only Cayden and Jade didn't hug with the group, they just smiled at the scene before them. Tara was doing her best to stop crying but she couldn't help it, she felt happy that she found the family that she was looking for. As they let go and Tara whipped her tears, Jade came forward to Tara.

"Now that you found your answer, what will you do now?" Jade asked her suddenly.

Tara turns towards Jade and then to her friends, a smile comes to her face as she looks at them and turns towards the mermaid mage. "I already know what I'll do next, being with my new friends and family."

Jade smiled at her answers along with the others. Tara looked at Moana. "So, what's next on your agenda?"

"Well, to be honest, we were here to help you find the truth about your curse, we didn't plan ahead on what we will do next once we're done." Moana said truthfully while rubbing the back of her neck.

"I have a suggestion." Jade began, getting everyone's attention. "How do you all like to have a tour around the Enchanted Islands?"

This shocked everyone. "You mean it?" Moana asked excitingly.

Jade chuckles lightly. "Of course, it will be nice for all of you to know more about the Mages Confederacy and its magic."

Moana smiled and looked at her dragon sister. "What do you say, sis? Are you up for a little adventure?" She asked Aliikai, who lets out an eager roar from her Night Fury. "All right, we're in!"

"Us too!" Exclaimed her friends as they all laughed with joy.

Jade chuckles at this with a smile. "Very well then, let the tour begin."

I'm gonna end it here since my test is coming up. Sorry if it's not good. I was busy with online school and didn't have time to think for this chapter. I hope you guys liked it.
