Author's Note: Welcome to chapter 2 of GxE - Gods and Monsters. Godzilla is owned by Toho and Evangelion is owned by Hideoki Anno and Khara. Please thank you.

The following chapter will express more of this world as well the dangers, with the story introducing old and new. Godzilla will remain ominous till the next chapter as he'll make his entrance. But this chapter will express more of the world whereas the sudden differences of Evangelion. It will be a longer story arc from here because to show the monsters that will soon appear.

Chapter 2: Oncoming Storm

Pacific Ocean - 10:34 pm (5/29/2015) - 420 miles from Tokyo-3

A JSSDF research submarine investigated the missing nuclear sub, as this area was the only place where it was last located before vanishing off the grid. Scanning over the deep sea region, the operator only sees rocks and sands while the research sub's lights show little sight in finding the sub. Within moments, the operator notices a large object, as the light unveils the damages on this nuclear submarine.

In the sub's cameras, the nuclear submarine appears to have exploded from inside out as the operator explored. Scanning radiation levels has surprised the operator because there's zero contamination or leak. The operator, unsure what, notices about those marks around the nuclear sub and thinks that those marks appear to be claw marks. But it was just his imagination, that's what he says to himself.

"Beta approaching the search area. It seems to appear to be an explosion. Detecting zero radiation contamination."

Over the operator's radio, "Roger. Beta proceed with caution. over"

"Roger that. HQ."

"Hold on?! Multiple unknown objects!? miles from the nuclear submarine."

"Understood."

The research sub turns away from the nuclear submarine and heads to the unknown objects as it reveals multiple remains. Operator's eyes widened and tapped on the radio to JSSDF HQ as he found a shocking scene.

"Come in, HQ."

"Read you Beta."

"Discovering the remains of multiple unknown beings! Deceased! I repeat. Deceased!"

In the feed, the remains of a giant creature were five and deep down, the Operator's gut tells that these things are humanity's threats! Angels! But why are they dead and lifeless as well anything related to the nuclear sub. While at JSSDF HQ, the other operator informs the person leading the operation as the major did the same but back to the research submarine. Outside of the research sub, multiple corpses are shown of their state like the shark-like creature with a large burn hole, an broken octahedron with cracks and melted cystalines, an odd familiar angel with both arms ripped out with its head gone, and many more to come. Then all of a sudden…

The sub's operator feels the shake of the research ship, as he tries to stabilize it while overcoming the sudden sea quake. The research sub spins until the force lesson after the operator was able to gain control, but not till getting a glimpse of something. Same goes for the submarine's underwater cameras as it caught something… that something is glowing. Glowing brightly blue as it moves away with the operator gasping at what it is.

"Huh! It can't be! I can't be real!"

Over the radio, "What's going on, Beta? What is that?!"

In the Japan Psychic Center, Two women, Akane and Miki, are in a rush while children are drawing pictures on paper. Unsure, but are confused and shocked about the psychical sense the gifted children are having. Heading toward the classroom, they spoke about the children about their psychic abilities that they pictured in their thoughts.

"I first heard it from the two children two days ago. Now, they all say they had the same dream last night." Miki said.

"Did you?" Akane replied to Miki's words.

"Yes. It started a week ago, and every night since then, the parents are telling of their children dreaming the same thing! Brothers and sisters from different families have the same dream. Figures that there were factors consulting in them having some kind of connection."

"What!?"

"I felt it too and it became clearer each night!"

"Impossible! This couldn't be a coincidence for them to have the same thing?"

When they enter the classroom, where the children are drawing that they dreamt last night, as Akane spoke to the children.

"Well, has everyone finished?" Akane cheerfully said to the children.

"Yes!" Everyone in the classroom loudly replied.

"Well then, show us what you've dreamed about!"

"Yes!" They shouted again but they showed their drawings, and this shocked the two of them. Akane's and Miki's eyes widened at what they saw in front of them and even what those accounts of the children's dream. The various drawings that the children drew, shows a dinosaur that is breathing fire while burning down cities and large fires in the background.

"!"

But far from the center, children all over the world began to dream. Dream of the fire breathing dinosaur as it is not just only children, but every person from various ages shares it. Either the dreams are foggy, short, or nightmarish but it doesn't matter what details of the dream are. All they have is the Dinosaur.

Shinji walked out of the train as he was heading down town meanwhile the buildings around him were somewhat off but couldn't put what it was. Like each building was different as well, the passing people around this city or the factors within each city's section. He feels deep down that his mind is unable to put together his reality of the world. It is like entering a new world, but it is not like something?

The usual teen's life with the people he knows, as well as educational values for his future. His classmates like Toji Suzuhara, Kensuke Aida, and Hikari Horaki. Shinji continued on his walk as blocks away to his school, when something caught his eye. He stops and turns to check what he saw as he approaches the object. It's a small crystal object that has strange writing that he can't make out what it says. He decided to pick it up, to look closer, when suddenly, a bolt of energy shocked him as short temporal pain flowed through his body. It didn't kill him, but his mind and view began to receive strange images, that best to say is alien.

"Argh!" Shinji ached, whereas the object in his hand began to disintegrate piece by piece like he's aborbiting it. When a sudden voice spoke…

"Hey! Shinji!" It was Asuka in school uniform, "What's wrong? You better not slack off, so come on! Besser nicht zu spät kommen!"

Shinji, back to himself, continued what he was doing and headed to school.

In class, Shinji's teacher was teaching history as he said, "-in this history lesson, we will learn events before the Second Impact as time that we face the nightmare that occurs and remains to this time. The Great Depression caused a worldwide phenomenon that declined as well the sudden impact on the economy, from severe unemployment, declines in output, and acute deflation in almost every country of the world. The atomic bombings over Japan from Hiroshima and Nagasaki, that left the suffering and greater death count that anyone could ever imagine. You are wondering why I asked this. Is this. Human history is that previous generations that led the survival of society and the economy following the Second Impact. Only the courage and determination of the people before us managed to save the country. Only we thrive through the tougher times like this as times with the aftermath for Japan as its people endured. But time took a period of rebuilding and expansion, a scar that reminds what human nature of catastrophe has put on our lives. For the future that we must learn to come that reminds and defines everything that exists right now."

The class was moved and looked at him as he continued.

"Even in the following aftermath of the Second Impact, wars started to fight for resources, economy, and lands till the crisis stopped and a peace treaty was settled. This births a new hope for the future and new threats as well. But now we will focus on the things we see and hear like NERV whose purpose is to defend Humanity and under the U.N, Thane Corporation, and United Nation. Thane Corporation established their goals of helping the people and building the future where generations can live on time ahead."

Shinji was confused by that name like he had never heard of it before. Besides, life with NERV had many factors toward his troubles.

An hour later, Shinji Ikari was at the school's roof, listening to his music as he lay down while staring at the clouds. It's peaceful up on the school's roof as it was sunny and quite claiming, taking his mind off about himself. How he always lived a lone life in his younger years than what he has right now. Closing his eyes, Shinji is at peace… for just a moment ago, when…

A shadow caught his attention when he opened his eyes, as he was puzzled at what was that. Shinji hears a voice, out of nowhere.

"Huh?"

"Whoa! Hey! Watch out! Move! Move! Coming Through!"

Crashing onto Shinji as his tape recorder fell on the floor of the school's roof and the mysterious figure was…

"Oh! My glasses… my glasses… Sheesh, where are my glasses?" the figure spoke as the mysterious figure is…a woman around his age and she found her glasses. She turned around to see Shinji on the ground and said, "Ah, I'm so sorry. I hope you're right." When a phone rings as she answers her phone.

"Hello, this Mari," Mari answered on her phone, "Yeah the wind picked up and took off target," she listened in and said, "It appears that I landed on the roof of a school or something."

"What? You're the one who told me to enter Japan covertly!"

"Why don't you have the Euro Branch to work this out?... Just be there for my extraction later, Ok? Thanks!"

Shinji, still on the floor, has caught Mari's eyes as she steps closer and sniffs him. "Well, well, well. You smell pretty nice. Actually, you smell nearly like LCL," Mari said to the surprised Shinji.

"You're quite interesting. Right, well, let's keep all this between us. Ok with you, NERV pup?"

They both stared at each other in the moment when the roof's doors opened, "Uh? So this leads to the roof? Okay-" It was John, who came to visit the school that he was going to teach and was curious about the layout of the school when he stumbled upon where Shinji was.

"Oh!... uh… Don't mind me. I'm just going," John spoke out and left.

Mari raised her eyebrow, "Huh? That was something?"

Outer Space - 774,036 miles from Earth and 387,018 miles from the moon

Space or Outer Space is the physical universe beyond the earth's atmosphere as there lies no air while stars, planets, galaxies, and the vast of the unknown. But at this range of the solar system is something ominous as this time, something is coming. A sudden light appeared out of nowhere with multiple figures, with blades, chainsaws, and different coloring except for one. The one looks the same as the others, but appears to be more sinister and deadly as it seems to lead the rest.

The rest appears to differ for each type like some kind of invading force for soldiers of war, then something unexpected happens. Every one of them merge with the one that leads the rest, as eyes… no it doesn't have normal eyes rather a crimson visor that flashes brightly. Spikey fins on its back with red and blue color as well its skin is red and dark green. Claws? No, rather an extraordinary weapon like blades, but something feels sadistic about them.

The figure, after merging the rest, sharpening its weapon with a deadly roar as it unveiling who the mysterious figure is.

That figure is… Gigan, the monster of metal and flesh, as it headed to planet Earth in alarming speed.

Tokyo-3 (NERV HQ) - (5/30/2015)

(Music Starts - Animality Virus - Composed by Kenji Kawai - From Resident Evil Vendetta)

At NERV HQ, the sudden discovery of the remains to be Angels has put everything tense for personnel staff and the figures of the organization. Gendo, Kozo, Misato, and NERV head scientist Ritsuko Akagi, looking over at the corpses as to their view is something that best tells the brutal power that took these Angels down. Ritsuko shows her findings and it is something that changes the name of things for NERV. Gendo was silent while observing the information that Dr. Akagi looked over, it raised questions in his thoughts as Fuyutsuki stood by him. What is left of these Angels was unlikely to tell because with cores or anything left, has shown evidence of something that killed these findings that change the game of things for NERV. Gendo was silent while observing the remains like seeing something off or the questions appearing in his thoughts. Fuyutsuki asked Gendo, "Ikai, was this part of the scenario?"

Gendo frowned and replied, "No… It wasn't," as Gendo noticed some of the Angel's remains are quite similar, like seeing a repeat. But now, what lies before him is something that the secret organization and himself will think about.

Ritsuko spoke, "From what we have found, their remains contain radiation that's beyond any kind from our knowledge, and it is judging on their state that they were killed by something."

Fuyutsuki spoke, "Something?"

"Finding one of these on this Angel," Ritsuko pointing to the shark-like angel and unveiling a clear glass container with a small charcoal object, "It seems whatever kills them, it leaves this Radiation behind. Lucky that some of the remains hold minimal radiation before arriving here."

Misato thinks back to the morning news, "What could have killed these Angels? So why does this somehow relate to this," Misato says in her mind. Soon, she broke this topic off her mind as she spoke, "The strangest part of this, is the appearances of the other angels because these angels seem quite similar to the ones that we defeated."

The one appears to be Fourth, but looks more bulky, two masks, and opposite coloring. It lost both arms, a series of lacerations, and a destroyed core.

A melted Angel with its core destroyed and it appears to be the Angel that Unit-02, when the Second Child arrived and killed the angel.

The large broken object appears to be the Sixth Angel, but is darker.

This angel is Cephalopod-like as if reminding the Fifth Angel that Unit-01 defeated. It has a hole, where its core was once, in its body.

Twin identical angels, both limbs torn with their cores smashed, appear to be the angel that Unit-01 and Unit-02 defeated.

But with this new Angel, it appears to be aquatic and large as it has a hole that goes through head to tail.

Misato continued, "From what the sub's operator description has caught a glimpse of something. The operator is on the line now." The video feed was on as the sub's footage came to life as it shows jagged structures glowing through the seafloor as it starts to move away from the submarine.

"Can you describe what you saw at that time?"

Operator on the phone, "Yes, I can."

"What was it?"

"It looked like… some fin of a huge creature."

NERV personnel murmured amongst each other after watching the fee and hearing from the Operator's words. NERV, on that day, were on edge as questions about the Angel corpse, has put speculation on how, what, why, and who. These four questions that stir around the minds of the staff, that even included Kozo, Mistato, Gendo, and Ritsuko. Gendo figures that there's some competitive of NERV like "We did a better job", but a small part of himself thinks about the other factors, as he knows that he's no fool to either ignore or overthink it. Gendo knows that there's one thing that concludes, "Something killed those Angels."

Ritsuko wonders about what weaponry that could been used against these Angels as it has to be a radiation base weapon. The radiation that NERV searchers found, has matters that struck her mind as knowing how radiation levels would be high and these exposed remains should've been quarantined. But they only get the radiation level at minimum because most of the bodies were fine but have little radiation on the larger wounds and with Luck that NERV is safe from exposure. She didn't worry because the NERV staff took precaution before observing the remains and after examination, the state of the remains has estimated that these things died ranging from 15 and 21 days.

Fuyutsuki pounders about these discoveries as knowing too well that what killed these things was formidable. So Kozo turned to Gendo as he said, "Ikari, if this matters, express a threat to NERV? What can we handle with this?"

Gendo responded to Fuyutsuki, "We will have the 'Talk' with them." Kozo stares and knows what he means as he recalls back to months ago.

Months ago, Gendo and Fuyutsuki were visited by Guest as She appeared before them as she spoke, "Hello Gentleman, I do hope you all got my message." Gendo, with emotionless expression on his face, says this to her, "Alisa Thane." Alisa Thane, the famous figure and leading head of a corporation called Thane Corporation. Alisa tells them, "Ooh, I see that you have my background check and know what my corporation can do."

Fuyutsuki spoke, "Indeed and what reasons for you to make this request?"

"Well, Mr. Fuyutsuki and Mr. Ikari. I want to make a deal here as this time, I'm here to request a NERV and Thane Corp partnership."

Gendo wasn't phased by this as Fuyutsuki asked her, "What's your purpose for Thane Corp with NERV?"

"The purpose is that we share a common goal as much as I can say about your cover-up at Antarctica and your SEELE friends."

Fuyutsuki narrowed his eyes as, in his mind, he was surprised by this while knowing what SEELE would do if she exposed their existence.

"I know. I know… You guys think that this is blackmail or something but worried not because I will make the decision on your terms. Even reasons for me to come here? Well… I have resources that NERV and SEELE never have, and I advised you and your partners that there's much more to things. That humanity can ever discover… Oh if thinking my words meant little to your project. There are things that no one could ever imagine then this, Gendo. Even SEELE could see the impossible that's beyond their prediction. Even it rewrote the Dead Scrolls."

Gendo, who's interested by Alisa's words as she made her leave while saying this, "If SEELE and NERV are interested in our deal. We should have this Talk with you and your SEELE friends. Even the matters that can change everything. There are forces that threaten both humanity and us! Takes my word."

Then, Alisa stops, "Oh! If you all are curious? Then here's my number and a present to NERV and SEELE." as she placed an odd small object and a paper with her phone number, "Feel free to call, and we will have this TALK soon. Au Revoir."

So after Alisa left, a meeting with Gendo and Council as recalled by Alisa's so-called deal with them, with each member were at loss of words and curious of her words. By now, they considered her words and decided if she would prove their value to their cause.

Back to the present, Gendo and Kozo leave the room while Misato can't imagine all the information that's happening in her mind. Ritsuko and Misato both know that what this thing is, it's dangerous.

Hātosutōn (Heart Stone) - 10:00 pm - Bonin Islands

Hātosutōn is a city with the population of 12,151, the people who are residing in this place as after the Second Impact. This city was founded around the 1970s as now everything looks like Japan's past on Bonin Island, and what changes over this city. With new establishments of the new world, everything in this city has come to terms with their ancestral cultures in living with nature as this city gains new riches as well as a power station for this city.

Even now the night of Hātosutōn isn't silent as the city is now facing a heavy storm, with cracking thunders, while the residents stay in their homes. Waiting if the weather would die down later or tomorrow as little danger of the weather because this city has been through weather like this.

In one of the city's buildings, a group of friends are spending their vacation on this island, with laughs and drinks in their hands. One of them named Howard, who notices one of the picture frames and tells his female friend, "Whoa! Hey! Hana, what's this?"

"Oh! It's the pictures about some creature called Gor.. god… Godzilla, yeah that's one, that came to shore and did that to the village. The old lady told me about these pictures."

"Godzilla?"

"Sounds stupid?"

"What is Godzilla?"

"A giant sea monster that just showed up at Odo Island and soon attacked Tokyo. So the military killed the giant monster. I mean, it just destroyed buildings and many people got hurt or killed. Even more to this is that it can…shoot fire out of its mouth? "

"What?!" say by one of the group.

"You're messing with us."

Her best friend, who's beside Hana, spoke, "I don't think that this Godzilla is real because how can that exist at all? Sounds like a dragon from a fictional fantasy tale and I think that it is just a rip-off. Godzilla is just fiction, made up, to the human mind as some way to cope or compare something to the real tragedy during the time. If it is real then I must say that it isn't the monster's fault for what it did."

"Yeah! I think Godzilla is just a way to attract tourists after WWII. I mean now these days, Godzilla is a joke, besides this is the real world."

The friends chuckle about the Godzilla story as Hana, Howard, and the two friends slowly end their chuckle. When things oversee the night as the night becomes the nightmare for this poor city. Everything began to shake as Hana noticed the picture frames move little whereas Howard was surprised by this and told his friends, "Whoa!?... It's just the thunder. Right?"

Well Howard, it isn't.

Thump… Thump… Thump… Thump… Thump…

Everything shook as one of the friends spoke, "I don't think that's Thunder, man! It sounds like an Earthquake!?"

Hana said to her friend, "No, I don't think so?! It sounds like something-"

Before she could answer, a large crashing sound came through the ceiling as it revealed that it was the large foot of a giant creature, and it landed on top of the small building where the group was.

Godzilla mercifully crushed them with his gigantic foot as lightning struck his back and he gave a thunderous roar.

"SKREEEEEOOOONKkkkk!"

Everyone in that city saw Godzilla as the residents began to run, getting out of their houses, and screaming. Panic spreads like a plague, with people going from farmers, parents carrying their child, individuals tripping over and picking themselves up, and some who stood still while staring at the monster.

Godzilla unleashes his rampage upon the city as buildings and houses were destroyed from his feet stomping down by his weight and his tail hitting infrastructures and the unfortunate. Godzilla's dorsal started to shine, with blue sparks, as he opened his jaws with his mouth glow blue and pale eyes light bright. Then he did the unspeakable as he fired his atomic breath that hit two houses and turned left to right while firing his atomic ray around the city. The night sing of the people screams as collapsing buildings that drums the night, and no matter what to say. For this night the city fell into oblivion as forces of many kinds were brought upon them, with destroyed structures, homes, business, and restaurants as vehicles, like cars and trucks, melted by the heat. The heat was so great that it turned them into large molten puddles as the same goes to any metal structures like signs or street poles. Even the worst as the people were burned or buried by rubble whereas their chances of survival are slim with few making it by going to the mountains or going far from the chaos. Godzilla continued on, whereas ahead of him were large crowds fleeing through the streets and Godzilla fired his attack directly at the people.

They were either blown away by Godzilla atomic breath, caught by the beam, or even having survived but are exposed to the radiation. On that night, Godzilla decimated the city as the death toll was 12,091 with 60 who were 12 alive, 24 wounded, and 24 exposed to the radiation.

John arrived at the address that was sent to him as well meeting his real estate agent with the building that would soon be a research laboratory for his foundation. John explored the building as he found it quite large for this place. This building has fourteen rooms with two levels as after exploring through, he concludes what each room can be. John knows that he'll start to live in this building as well as build his foundation in this part of Japan.

Years before right now, he spent his time as a biologist for five years then a physicist for three years. His father was a great person who explored around the world while his mother was a system engineer and he's the only child in the family. A best friend of his was a childhood friend as they're good friends before her passing as what they promised to make back then. They both want to help the world and its people because they dream of a future.

But time goes by as the funding for Terra Foundation is reaching near but not at its end, with the few accepted in countries like Europe, Washington DC, and northern part of Japan. Three locations look fine but in numbers are at bare minimum. Only a few inventions of Terra Foundation have been done: designing solar and wind energy-based machinery, traveling and camping gear, medical prosthetics, and wildlife conservation. Anyone could say after hearing all this…

"It looks fine."

"Great establishment, John."

John hearing those positive words sound fine but deep down, the funding for the foundation, support by current members, and slow number of people. It's the reality that he's facing between his own conflict that draws positive and negative forces between morals and responsibilities. Back to the present, John and his foundation situation is quite stable right now but fears the comebacks.

Now, he's setting up this building as his home, foundation, and laboratory.

Hours later as it was night, John almost finished unboxing everything as he set out each room where he would sleep, books, work, and store his equipment. He's at his office room as he notices something on the ground as gone to pick it up.

It was a paper, as it looks old and somewhat strange because as he read the old paper.

Entry 11292004… I can't stop…

These visions that I'm seeing are driving me too far. I'm not insane. Am I?

I think these visions are warnings… no… it's something… It matters about the fate between the future and the world as I foresee the events to come. Fragments. Only fragments that I know or… understand. Premonition of the birth, life, and deaths.

The storm is coming.

The reign of fire as he marches on. Through the destruction that he stood as he's the embodiment of God and humanity's judgment.

Necessary force that world needs.

Testaments for the living as the prophecy foretold the End.

Many become one.

The man of arms set their blade of battle.

Beware of the draconic hydria. Devourer of worlds and the one who is many. The golden nightmare that is bound by chains. By fool's gold as they're blind by their inner most.

Scars of gates.

The fallen worlds fall into the Devourer.

The storm is coming.

The Call to Battle has begun!

John looks confused and at odds with this paper as it seems to a journal? Suddenly, the building began to shake until it stopped, when everything looked okay. John then hears voices, calling out his name. It sounds like two people speaking at the same time.

"Mr. Brown! Mr. Brown!" it said to John as he looked around as the voice, "Mr. Brown! Here we are."

John looked at his desk as a pair of small girls appeared before him as they spoke, "It's been a long time, has it."

A flashback as John's memory dates back when he was a kid around the person that he met, Shinji right, as his Father and Grandfather were speaking to two small girls. Then it went back to now as John began to remember and know who they are. John spoke, "Oh… Oh! I remember"

"My father and grandfather. I was little, and saw you there and… I can't remember what it was, but you were there."

"Indeed. It's been awhile, Mr. Brown."

"Whoa.. whoa.. Why are you here?"

"We came here to warn you."

"Warn about what?"

"An unknown force is coming and it's putting the world in danger."

"Why do you need my help?", John remembers of his past as he read one of his grandfather's note as these small women are the Shobijin "Small Beauties", who are the Priestesses of a giant divine moth, that legends told of a goddess that protected humanity.

"There's factors that obscures the existences that upset the balance. Mothra will protect the earth as she will come. A dark presence looms beyond this planet."

Thinking about their words, he turned to the old paper as he questioned"How?" John turns to the Shobijin, but they're gone as he hears something outside.

"KEEERRNT"

John runs to the window as he sees a white giant silk moth with multiple colored wings. Deep down, he knows what that divine being is, and it was part of his family journal. Mothra, the Goddess of Infant Island, who his grandfather recorded before his birth, as John never looks away from Mothra. Then Mothra's wings began to move as she started to leave and fly away with the Shobijin vanishing from where they were. Mothra flew on that night as like a flying star that shines the miracles and hopes, the spirit of the past as she once fought and left her descendant to fight on. A ghost that lived again, to fight for the last time. For the last role of her story. To the chances of the future. The flames of hope and miracles will continue on, til the flame dies out.

Every path is made by choices. It's a branch of possibilities that follows one, two, and three. It's not a path. It's a story. After the following, NERV HQ sent a surveillance drone that was designed to operate in bad weather as the drone's fee shows Hātosutōn in ruins. The drone's video footage shows buildings on fire, wreckage from wood, glass, and metal everywhere, and the most disturbing is the remains of the residents. The drone surveyed the area from the two hills to the bridge over the river. "My god! What's happened here?" said the NERV personnel member who was operating the surveillance drone as he called Ritsuko. Back to where Ritsuko was, she was informed about the personnel discovery. She walked in and spoke to him, "... Wait a minute, what do you mean, the place is gone?"

"I mean, it's gone" NERV Personnel spoke and showed the imagery that's being recorded by the drone, "It's like this whole place wasn't there and looks like something more than a storm hit the place."

"Can you have the drones go closer?" Ritsuko asked him as the drone's fee continues to display the destruction of Hātosutōn shows broken glasses from windows, melted vehicles, broken woods and buildings crushed down, the still burning fire that still lit, fallen trees, and even roads fractured.

The drone moved for a closer look until the NERV Personnel noticed something as he spoke, "Whoa?! Hold on… a minute, that wasn't there a moment ago!"

Confused, Ritsuko asked him, "What are you talking about?"

"That hill, right there!?"

On the screen, there was something obscured by the drone's view as due to the darkness of the background, the NERV Operator recalled that there were two hills but there was a third hill and he told Ritsuko, "There wasn't a third hill there before!" The NERV Operator tried to pull back, but there's something off about it because when the drones moved away, the hill… or whatever it is. It was moving in front of it as it shocked both of them.

"What the Hell?! It's moving!"

"Gyaaaoonn!" The drone's fee and connection was cut off before it could fly away.

"What was that?" Operator questioned as they both heard the strange sound before the connection of the drone was gone.

"I don't know what it was?" Ritsuko was confused and responded to his question. It was something that's beyond anything that she has ever encountered.

Later came for NERV HQ, except for the pilots and Misato, about the recent encounter as this drone data was sent out. Well for this moment, certain matters have for them from JSSDF, U.N, NERV Branches, and many more.

Godzilla swam through Japan's waters as he continued through this new world that he last remembered the ocean, as now the sea runs red. Life is near extinction and it threatens everything that this world holds dear to animals and plants. Knowing the enemy is humanity for the crime against nature, innocents, and even his kin.

He's detecting faint presences around Japan and it's unknown what it is but he can't find the source. He'll soon find it after sensing other monsters in Japan, but one of them is familiar to him like something that he has a neutral relation with during his time. But he can't figure out who it is, so he will face it as well, ignoring some of them if they either attack him or threaten the world.

A/N: Hope this chapter has caught more of this new world as planned in the story, with the Shinji and other characters encountering the monsters and angels. Figuring what angel that they'll face off and encountering the first Kaiju, as there will be ten or not? Because figuring out if I should add Vara, Anguirus, or Rodan for the story, while not having revealed all of them as I already unveiled some of the Kaijus.

I watched the new trailer of Godzilla minus one second trailer and I can't wait to watch this movie. Even watching Godzilla vs. Megalon 2023 and man, it's a great short.

Hātosutōn is a fictional city that I made up and it's a reference to GMK, while expressing the strength and raw aggression that this Godzilla is now living in this world. Plus hope to see any reference to both franchises.
