Extra Chapter (Ch 2.50): Timeline "Godzilla's Timeline"
Many years ago
1,000,000 years ago - Far far away and many years ago, a planet full of life that differs from Planet Earth as this planet called Terrantis. Kawatta Shurui are the people of Terrantis as they lived in peace and prosperity. Their technology was advanced beyond anything and their cultures shared part of their world, as what can imagine of a perfect and calming world. But things change for this peaceful world, as a dreadful force comes to this world. It brought destruction and consumed the people of Terrantis, as the Kawatta Shurui knows of this evil. Stories across the galaxy spread, whereas the Golden Monster lay destruction across Terrantis. Kawatta Shurui were overwhelmed by the Golden Monster as it left the world in ruins as life became barren. Only hope for Kawatta Shurui to stop the monster by trapping it as it was too powerful against their weaponry.
5000 years ago - A raining star falls upon Earth as early mankind encounters a large wing creature that they give many names like "Golden Demise", "The One Who is Many", "The Planet Eater", and "God King of the Void". The mankind battles against the creature as Ancient Mothra assists against the winged monster. The battle lasted for a near decade until with assistance of a last unknown race, who came to earth, as it used their device to trap the golden monster.
4500 years ago - A meteorite crashed to earth and landed in the Pacific Ocean near Ancient Japan.
Feudal Japan 1185 AD to 1603 AD
1273-1275 - During Feudal Japan, a conflict around Lagos Island as two clans battle over the island for territory for a couple years. Until Mongol invasion occurs as the fight for the island leads both clans to join until something unexpected happens. A large creature appears and attacks the Mongols as the creature (Godzillasaurus) kills all the Mongols. But the creature endures heavy injuries by the Mongols. Moved by the creature's action, leaves the island and travels back to Japan.
1940-1950 - Birth of Godzilla
1945 - Two Godzillasaurus were remaining on the island.
1946 - Nuclear testing at Bikini Atoll.
1947 - Series of ship attack surfaces that left questions and dangers at large.
1953 - Discovery of Alien objects found around Mexico, Japan, Australia, and Europe. Only fragments that United States Government agency created Seekers, a scientific organization whose task was to research, find, and discover about these alien tech.
1954 - First Godzilla attacks Japan and leaves 189 deaths as devastation has brought the Japanese nation in desperation. Dr. Daisuke Serizawa discovered and made the Oxygen Destroyer, finding the terrible truth of his creation. He decided to hide it but after Godzilla's second raid on Tokyo that Emiko and Ogata seek his invention to stop Godzilla. He refuses the report of Godzilla's devastation on Tokyo. Moved by this, Dr. Serizawa agrees and when they found the location where Godzilla resided. He burns his notes and commits his ultimatum due to his knowledge of his invention, he sacrifices himself as he activates the Oxygen Destroyer. Emiko, Ogata, Steve Martin, and everyone else on the ship found resolution to the death of the atomic terror. Some were happy that Godzilla is dead but some are heartbroken of one person, sacrificing his life to stop Godzilla. But in truth, Godzilla wasn't the monster that was born out of evil, but was the victim of human's destructive ways that made this tragic and innocent monster, who has now gone from the earth.
1957 - Project Prometheus begins at a Unknown Location with a series of tests and studies on the Alien tech and artifacts. Advancing with new technology that can change the world, but soon things took a turn when discovering the remains of an alien entity that was found in Antarctica as it was taken to Seeker's facility for study as this thing was given the name "Aurora". Turns out Aurora, even in death, has the tech and artifacts that have been gathered, reacts to it as Seeker personnel experience visions when touching the activated techs or artifacts.
1959 - Project Prometheus shut down and disbanded of the organization. All files were burned and erased from existence.
1960-1966 - Return of Godzilla and the Reign of Terror
4/5/1960-5/25/1960 - The rebuilding and recovery of Japan after the first Godzilla attack as five years of peace didn't last long after a series of ship attacks. The second Godzilla emerged around July or August but it mattered little as it attacked Fukuoka and left 1,200 and a quarter of the city. Second city was Kyoto with the death toll of 230 as months later surfaced in Hiroshima with a death toll of 341 deaths and 12,900 injured. Japanese forces were unable to stop him as this Godzilla continued his reign of terror. Things got worse when Mothra, Rodan, Angirus, Varan, Gorosaurus, Manda, and Baragon appeared all over the world.
5/26/1960 - Mothra appears because she was searching for the Shobijin, who were kidnapped, and destroyed a large portion of the city but was reunited with the Shobijin due to the help of Shinichi Chujo and the others for their help. She returns to Infant Island. Mothra, before finding the Shobijin, fought Baragon in Osaka.
Baragon emerged from Akita Prefecture and left the area in ruins as it fed on the livestocks. JSDF attacked Baragon when it surfaced at Osaka, it was defeated by Mothra, who was searching for the Shobijin.
6/13/1960 - Rodan was woken by a mining operation near to a dead volcano as he emerged from the dead volcano as it lay waste on the Philippines. He was defeated when the JSDF used a prototype air-craft called Super-X, but it left the search and rescue in the Philippines cities.
6/20/1960-6/21/1960 - Anguirus appeared at Kyoto as it fought Godzilla and fled away due to intervention of the Super-X. Gorosaurus was discovered in a Pacific Ocean Island that fed on anything on its island. It was tranquilized and taken to San Diego, but broken out of its cage. Rampage through the city as it left thousands dead, but it was killed by the United Military. Manda appears at Tokyo Bay as it left 1,000 dead as days later Manda fought Godzilla and was killed by him.
7/13/1961-7/14/1961 - Varan emerges at a Japan countryside lake and attacks thirteen towns in its rampage. Leaving 430 lives deceased as Project Poison, it's a plan to kill Varan by explosives and the plan works for a second time as Varan was killed when the bomb device was inside the Kaiju. But few JSDF soldiers die for their cause and an honor of JSDF hero sacrifice who deliver the bomb inside a minisub.
1/13/1961 - Godzilla appears and attacks San Francisco as it left two millions dead as half the city was destroyed. Nations from all over the world form the Earth Defense Force as they are an international military organization on stopping Godzilla and other giant monsters. Development of new defense for E.D.F as were the Gotengo and Project G because these would stop the Kaijus threats.
4/4/1961 - A swarm of Meganulon and Meganula appearing at Mount Aso, E.D.F manages to kill off all of the Meganulon and Meganula swarms. But things got worse as a large creature that appeared to be the queen, Megagurius fled to China whereas went to the forest and mountains. Operation Beehive started as conducted by Earth Defense Force and the uses of unknown chemical weapons.
4/7/1961 - Operation Beehive was successful. Details remain classified and the mystery of Megagurius. Megagurius and its hive is destroyed but how they did remains a mystery as rumors of how they did vary on their accounts. But in truth Operation Beehive used the alien tech on the creatures and from their account says "The operation was successful and destroyed the creatures" as it's unknown how because Megagurius and its hive disappeared.
7/5/1961 - A meteorite landed on the Earth Defense Force to investigate it. It remerges a large creature with twin hook blades as it attacks the E.D.F. The creature was called Gigan as it attacked Japan as Godzilla appeared at Tokyo Bay. The two kaijus battle with Godzilla winning the fight and leave Japan.
7/30/1961-4/12/162 - E.D.F projects were near complete as Gotengo was ninety percent done whereas Project G progress remains unknown. Until news of remains washing up ashore as E.D.F used the remains for Project G.
7/5/1962 - Years later, Godzilla appeared in Japan as it rampaged through Osaka to Tokyo while Angirus, Baragon, and a second Varan appeared in Yokohama. Godzilla battles the three kaijus, as the numbers range around 100,000 casualties from Civilians and E.D.F soldiers. Godzilla killed the three monsters and went back to the sea.
10/12/1962 - Three months later, Gotengo battled a second Manda in the Atlantic Ocean as Gotengo killed the second Manda. An island called Hana Island as a second Rodan and second Gorosaurus appears when Godzilla emerges and battles them, when Godzilla is victorious.
4/15/1963-4/25/1963 - A giant spider monster emerged in Australia and a sighting of Godzilla in Sydney as the two Kaijus fought over the city. E.D.F intervened and killed Godzilla who killed the spider monster called Kumonga, but it's revealed that it isn't Godzilla. It's a creature related to Godzilla, calling the creature Zilla, and things got worse for Sydney as numbers of Zillas appeared out of the tunnels that Zilla made. E.D.F researchers found out Zilla self-reproduced its offspring and it took 10 days for the E.D.F and Australian military armies to exterminate all the Zillas. This left the city in ruins and will take years to rebuild as well the amount of lives that died about 12 millions.
4/26/1963-4/27/1963 - Godzilla lay waste to the western Europe as E.D.F used the Gotengo to stop Godzilla. Proving to a tie as Godzilla vanishes into the ocean whereas the Gotengo receive heavy damage and appears that it will take another year to repair. After somewhat beating the Gotengo, Godzilla went to the Pacific Ocean and disappeared as well as news of a large asteroid, around 9581 kilometers, that alerted the E.D.F. E.D.F devised a plan to stop the asteroid as it was heading to earth within a year. So they called this large asteroid Gorath.
12/31/1963-1/1/1964 - A american nuclear submarine was missing around the Pacific Ocean, but the important matter was Gorath because the operations were set as many prototype rockets, designed for space, were used to stop it. The E.D.F plan seems to reduce Gorath at fifty percent and still on course to earth. Then the unexpected happens when Godzilla emerges from the ocean and makes landfall on Oda Island. Godzilla obliterated the asteroid in what was called "a crimson fire and colorful lighting" and this brought questions as to why Godzilla's sudden appearance at Oda Island. It theorized that Godzilla detected Gorath and was storing up enough energy to stop the large asteroid whereas the missing nuclear sub has hastened the process. Making Godzilla more powerful than before as it reaches around 90 meters tall and 180 meters long. Godzilla disappeared back to the ocean as Project G was near Complete and Gotengo's repair was finished. Operation Daylight has begun and its goal is to trap the monsters, by using the Seeker's findings.
5/6/1964 - Godzilla appears in Shanghai as a Second Gigan and a larger second Baragon make their way through the city. A battle settled between Kaijus as Operation Daylight was finished and used on Godzilla, Baragon, and Gigan. It only caught Gigan and Baragon, but Godzilla managed to avoid the attack and destroyed it. Godzilla leaves the destroyed Shanghai as it left 8.7 millions dead by the chao.
5/13/1964-10/13/1964 - International breakout occurs over the deaths of people at Shanghai as this Reign of Terror is taking a toll on the world. While a series of monsters started to appear and E.D.F unleashed all their weaponry as well, unveiling Project G. Project G proved to be formidable against all the monsters as a new Project was devised by the E.D.F. Called Operation Dimension Tide. Dimension Tide was a success and the blackhole weapon took out a few Kaijus as the weapon managed to trap them, as this was the time where humanity had the power to fight back.
12/1/1964-12/30/1964 - Shobijin appears and warns of the use of the black hole weapon as well as the dangers to the world. If they decided not to hail the project, Mothra would have to stop them. But things took a turn when a Terrorist group called the Legion, started to attack around the world from Europe, Russia, China, New York, Washington DC, and Japan.
1/1/1965 - A sudden conflict between Legion and E.D.F over the alien tech that Seeker has left behind. When Godzilla appeared and destroyed both the remaining Legion and quarter of E.D.F as Godzilla destroyed all the alien tech at Seeker site A.
5/6/1965 - Project G was used to fight Godzilla when Godzilla was in Hokkaido as Project G was about to finish Godzilla, but a glitch occurred as Godzilla went back into the Ocean. Project G went berserk and rampaged through Sapporo until its batteries ran out.
5/7/1965-6/12/1965 - Project G technicians fixed the glitch as means to ensure that it won't go rogue and repairs the damages that Godzilla caused. E.D.F plans to put an A.I in Project G programming and is called G Net. Took months to do changes on Project G as unknownst to E.D.F, a remaining Legion managed to do something but was discovered when Project G other defense program detected the hack. E.D.F apprehended him and sentence to prison as finding the new damages that the Legion hacker did was to programming the mech into activating its weapons. Luckily one of the couple E.D.F technicians managed to stop it.
6/25/1965 - Godzilla emerged in Tokyo as well as the arrival of Mothra and the two monsters fought as E.D.F sent Gotengo to assist Mothra. The battle ensued when the Gotengo was destroyed and Mothra deflected Godzilla's atomic breath by using her scales. It drove Godzilla to withdraw and left Mothra in a weakened state. Mothra fled back to Infant Island as means to recover but it was just the theories that E.D.F concluded the aftermath.
6/26/1965-9/1/1965 - Rumors spread that Godzilla was killed whereas both Mothra and E.D.F managed to kill him. But Project G and Dimension Tide cause conversal between nations and what can say that things broken apart, side by side aren't watching both sides. Things go back to where it was before, but worse as the use for Project G and Dimension Tide should be used for the benefit for Humanity, with two sides that agree or disagree to those ideas.
9/12/1965 - Project G was reprogrammed by the other half, but its A.I became self-aware and declared control around the nation's networks. Godzilla emerged and fought the A.I controlled Project G as it lasted hours and hours between two giants. Mothra engaged and assisted Godzilla in battle against Project G. Single Mothra egg in Infant Island hatch as twin larvae are born and assist their mother. Mothra, due to her weaken, sacrifice herself to protect her young as Godzilla and twin Mothra larva fought Project G. Dimension Tide was used for the final time and targeted Godzilla and Project G. D.T manages to hit the area where Godzilla, Project G, and deceased Mothra lie. D.T self-destructed and all its data was erased and wouldn't be used again as peace, once again is settled for the whole world. E.D.F disbanded after the destruction of D.T and Project G as well the recent international events, which has taken its toll.
1/25/1966 - Godzilla was discovered to be alive near the Caribbean as the United Forces fought Godzilla causing chaos and destruction across the United States. It left for the Pacific Ocean and headed to Japan, as during the U.S rampage caused 23 million deaths.
1/27/1966 - Godzilla made an attack on Tokyo and this led to the international crisis of countries like Russia, United State, Europe, and Japan. A plan was advised to stop Godzilla once for all, although the Japanese government was unable to help and United states governments refused help due to tension with Russia. Unable to gain help, a former E.D.F Steve Parker and other individuals from all nations started their Godzilla plan. Operation Rogue, a rogue operation composed of Japanese, Russian, American, and European forces, around 2,000 individuals to commence the operation. This operation is led by Steve Parker, Hana Sakaki, Ivan Romanoff, Arthur Maxwell, and Yuri Lee, who plans to stop Godzilla with 500 for each group.
1/28/1966 - Godzilla appears as Operation Rogue takes action and the battle at the Pacific Ocean begins. The fight against Godzilla led to 1,252 deaths as this left 748 remaining forces, whereas Hana and Yuri made a broadcast to Japan and the United States. The plan was to have the nuclear energy that's within Godzilla to overload and kill him inside by creating a substance that can be hardened by heat. The remaining forces seem at a loss and Godzilla wins the fight until a miracle happens as forces from Japan and United State military forces intervene and assist the operation. Steve made a sacrifice by piloting a plane carrying 20 barrels of the substance and flying into Godzilla before firing his Atomic Breath. This destroyed Godzilla as this was the victory for mankind to defeat and destroyed their greatest threat around the whole world.
A/N: Hope that you love this Extra/Bonus chapter that gets the depth of this story's lore of Godzilla's history. Think of what monsters that would be in this story and I will plan on fixing the previous chapters.
Kawatta Shurui is a fictional alien race that I made for the story as a significant role for one special monster. The name for Kawatta Shurui means Odd-kind in Japanese. Hope you find any references in this Extra/Bonus Chapter.
If anyone wonders about this story would play different to Evangelion's story from the Original and Rebuild series. The human story would follow the mystery through the plot as well dealing with the Kaijus. Shinji's destiny would determine the following futures as the key to everything that surrounds the plot. The mystery of John role with Evangelion and Godzilla as the changes toward Evangelions storyline.
