The Legend of Fairies.
This chapter will be about the history of Hyrule, like explaining about what is happening in the dimension and how Hyrule was created. The chapter will also be about the introduction of the Heroine of Time and the arrival of Natsu.
Last chapter I did say what the pairings are going to be, and here are the pairings for this story:
Natsu X Fem Link X Erza
Gray X Lucy.
Happy X Carla.
Wendy is not going to be with anyone. I was thinking about Wendy X Malon, but it wouldn't work. Plus, Malon isn't a fighter, and Wendy is too young to date. So, no pairings for Wendy.
As for why I am writing Link is a female, there aren't that much fem Link stories, so I thought I would write one about it.
Enjoy the chapter.
Chapter One: Welcome to Hyrule.
In a different dimension, there was a battle going on in a great Kingdom called Hyrule. It wasn't just a normal battle, like kill a few evil monsters and be done with it. No, it was more like a bloodshed war, and leading the war was a great source of evil named Ganondorf.
This evil and wicked man was not only trying to take over the world, but to get his hands on a sacred golden power that can make him more powerful than before. A golden power that has been created before Hyrule even existed.
Before time began, the world was in chaos. There was no life, no order, no law…no anything. Just an empty world.
But that changed when they came…
Three golden goddesses descended from the heavens to start creating the world of Hyrule, each creating their own faucet for the world.
Din, the goddess of Power, created the solid land with her strong flaming arms, and made mountains, forests, deserts and lakes.
Nayru, the goddess of Wisdom, poured her wisdom onto the earth to get rid of the chaos, and with her knowledge, she established laws and order to make sure that the chaos won't ever start again.
Farore, the goddess of Courage, produced life within the land, and created life forms, who will uphold the laws of the land.
Once the three goddesses finished their tasked of creating Hyrule, they departed to the heavens, not before leaving three, sacred golden triangles that was called the Triforce.
The Triforce is a powerful artifact that can grant a person's wish of their desire. If a person with a pure heart touches the Triforce, Hyrule will enter a golden age of peace. But if a person with an evil heart touches the Triforce, then Hyrule would be consumed by evil, and the land will be filled with monsters.
But after the world of Hyrule was created, great battles have started, and the only way to end it is to hide Triforce somewhere, where it can never be seen again.
After that, peace has swept over the Kingdom of Hyrule.
But the peace, however, was broken when Ganondorf took the Triforce, making him the King of Evil. With the Triforce in his hands, he transformed Hyrule into a world of monsters. His evil power was so terrifying that not one single person dared to confront him because of the fear they had inside them and the fear of being killed or turned into a monster.
'Is there anyone that can help us in this dark world?' The people of Hyrule from their respective homes thought, as they stared at the sky and sent a prayer. 'Is there anyone that can be brave enough to face the King of Evil and stop him?'
The answer to the people's prayers would be answer soon.
(In an Unknown Place)
In a place that was like a dark abyss, there was a figure standing in the middle of a water flowing platform that had a symbol of three triangles on it and different color platforms that had different symbols on them, and the colors were yellow, green, red, blue, purple and orange.
The figure, that was still standing on the platform, was a young woman that seemed to be her mid-teens, which seemed to be about seventeen. She had short blond hair with two short bangs framing her face, pale skin and pointed ears. She had yet to open her eyes to look at her surroundings.
The woman's attire was showing off her amazing figure, which would make a lot of women jealous. Her outfit was a green tunic that was short sleeve with a white long shirt underneath, white trousers to match the white shirt and leather brown boots. Around her waist was a brown belt that was holding two pouches, which were located on the left side of her body. She wore fingerless brown gauntlets, and she wore a green long cap that was on her head. On her back was a sword and shield, with the sword in a gold and blue scabbard.
"Link…wake up…" An old man's voice said in the dark abyss. "Awaken, chosen hero!"
The blond-hair woman, known as Link, slowly opened her eyes, revealing the most beautiful and purest blue eyes, like the ocean. She looked around for a bit, checking the water flowing platforms to the color platforms before looking to her left to see someone standing on the yellow platform.
The person standing on the yellow platform was an old man that seemed to be waiting for Link to wake up. He had pale skin, pointed ears and a white beard, since he had no hair on his head. His outfit was a heavy orange robe, with the sleeves covering his hands. A red embroidered trim was around his neck, and it stretched all the way down to the bottom of the robe.
"My name is Rauru, one of the ancient Sages." The old man introduced himself. "Long ago, we ancient Sages built the Temple of Time to protect the entrance to the Sacred Realm. This is the Chamber of Sages, inside the Temple of Light. The Temple of Light, situated in the very center of the Sacred Realm, is the last stronghold against Ganondorf's evil forces."
"What do you me-!" Link started to say, but suddenly stop when she felt her voice. 'What happened to my voice?! Why does it sound older and more…lighter?! Like an adult?!'
Seeing Link's shock look, Rauru calmly tells her, "Calm down, Link. Take a deep breath and look at your new body…"
Link took a deep breath and looked down, only to let out audible gasp of shock. Where she was expecting to be a ten-year-old child, she was now a grown adult.
"What happened to me?!" Link exclaimed, looking around her new body, still not used to her new voice. She was tempting to grab her chest but didn't want to do it in front of a man. "Why am I an adult?! I'm supposed to be a child!"
A little blue ball of light with fairy-like wings suddenly floated around Link's head, startling her. "Link! You're big now! You've grown up into an adult!"
"N-Navi?" Link said, staring at the bright blue ball with wide eyes. "Is that you?"
"Of course, it's me." The bright blue ball, known as Navi the Fairy, huffed in irritation. "Who else would it be?" Her answer was a shrug from the blonde.
"What in the world happened to me?" Link asked, turning to look at Rauru, who was watching them with slight amusement in his eyes. "The last thing I remember was pulling this sword out of the pedestal and everything went blank…"
"The Master Sword you're carrying is a sacred weapon that evil can never touch." Rauru explained, getting Link's attention. "Only one worthy named the 'Heroine of Time' can pull it from the Pedestal of Time. However, you were too young to be the Heroine of Time. Therefore, your spirit was sealed here for seven years."
"S-seven years…?" Link stuttered out, her face filled with shock and disbelief.
"But now that you are old enough, the time has come for you to awaken as the Heroine of Time!" Rauru exclaimed, his voice filled with power.
"I'm…the Heroine of Time…?" Link asked, staring at her hands.
"Yes, but I need you to listen to me carefully. When you opened the Door of Time, Ganondorf entered this forbidden realm, and took the Triforce, making him the King of Evil!" Rauru said, his face filled with anger. "His evil power radiated from the temples of Hyrule, and in seven years, it transformed Hyrule into a world of monsters." He then looked down to the water platform. "My power now has only little influence, even in the Sacred Realm."
"So, everything is my fault…" Link said, hanging her head down in shame and guilt.
"No, it is not your fault." Rauru said firmly. "But there is hope. There is a way to defeat Ganondorf."
"What do I need to do?" Link asked, her voice was steel and determine. "I will do anything to stop Ganondorf and his evil forces."
"You must travel to the five temples in Hyrule and defeat the monsters inside them, in order to awaken the Sages." Rauru said. "When all six Sages are awakened, the Sages' Seal will contain all the evil power and seal Ganondorf away. Do you understand what you need to do?"
Link nodded.
"Before you go, take this Medallion with you. The more Medallions you hold, the stronger you'll become." Rauru then raised his hands up, making a shiny object descended towards Link. It was a yellow medallion with the symbol of Light carved into it.
As Link's vision turned white, she could hear Rauru's final words.
"Find the other Sages and save Hyrule!"
(A Few Minutes Later; In the Temple of Time)
Link and Navi was surrounded in a pillar of blue light, and before they knew it, they were back in the Temple of Time where Link pulled the Master Sword out.
The Heroine of Time was looking straight ahead with a distant look on her face. Her mind was in shocked from what Rauru said.
'Even though Rauru said that it was not my fault, I still think it is.' Link thought with a bit of despair. 'I should've been more careful and waited, but my rushed to defeat Ganondorf came, and before I knew it, seven years had passed, and Hyrule is changed into a world of monsters.'
"Link, I know that you're blaming yourself for what happened to Hyrule," Navi said, making Link turned to look at her. "But it's not your fault. Ganondorf was hiding in the shadows like a coward and waited for you to open the Door of Time. He's the reason why Hyrule is in a bad state."
Link gave Navi a small smile, her companion's words made her feel a bit better. "Thanks, Navi."
"You're welcome." Navi said, glowing a bit. It was then she realized that they were no longer in the Sacred Realm and back into the Temple of Time. "Hey! We're back in the Temple of Time!"
Link blink a couple times. She looked around to see that they were indeed back in the Temple of Time, before looking at her body again.
'I can't believe that I'm an adult…' Link thought, staring at her body with a look of surprise and slight unnerve before she suddenly grouped her chest with her hands. 'And what are these things? These things are big and soft.'
"Link?" Navi's voice broke Link's thoughts, and she turned to see her little companion floating a bit away from her. If Link saw her face, she can tell that it would be a disturbed look. "What on Din's fire are you doing?"
Link felt her face flushed in embarrassment and she turned around to hide her face. When Navi came floated in front of her, she placed her hands on her face. She had never been this embarrassed before.
Before Link can say anything, a bright light came from the large chamber's window, causing Link to turned around, only to close her eyes from the brightness of the light. She feared that someone was about to attack her. She tried to reach for the Master Sword, but she fell to the ground when she took a step back, her back colliding on the small steps.
"What's happening, Navi?!" Link called out, pushing the pain away and managed to get in a kneeling position, while turning around to get the light off her face.
"I don't know!" Navi exclaimed, flying around in circles. "But I wish this bright light disappeared so we can see!"
As if Navi's wishes came true, the bright light disappeared, making Link and Navi let out sighs of relief, but they stopped when they heard two thuds and a groan of pain. Link pulled the Master Sword out and spun around to see who it was, only to find her breath left her throat.
Link was looking at a lean and muscular young man that was lying face up on the ground, with his face scrunched up in pain. He had spiky pink-hair, slight tan skin, and obsidian eyes. His outfit was a red shirt that was short-sleeve and torn, white trousers that were also torn and open-toe sandals. The most striking feature to the man was his handsome face.
'What is this…?' Link thought, staring at the pink-hair handsome man with a bright blush on her face. Her heart was beating faster, and she put a hand over rapid breathing chest. 'What is this…strange feeling that's inside me?' The longer she stared at the man, the more Link's heart beat faster. She couldn't breathe, she couldn't think at all. All she could do is stare at the man's handsome face.
"Ow…" The man groaned out, making Link lose her blush and thoughts when she saw bruises and dirt on the man's face. She ran over to him, sheathing her sword in the progress.
"Are you alright?" Link asked in concerned, kneeling next to the man.
"I-I'm fine…" The man grunted out, as he slowly stood up from the ground. Link helped him by placing his arm over her shoulder, and together, they slowly walked over to the raised platforms and the man sat down, letting out a sigh.
"Thanks for helping me." The man said, taking a couple of breaths before he turned to look at Link, only to widen his eyes. "Wait, who are you?! You're not Lucy!" It was then he looked around in the large chamber he was in. "Speaking of which, where the hell am I?!"
Link was confused by the man's behavior, including the name he gave her. Her name was not Lucy, it was Link. It was then she realized that she didn't introduce herself, and she couldn't help but face-palmed herself. She felt like an idiot.
Nevertheless, she said, "My name is Link, and you are in the Kingdom of Hyrule."
That's the end of chapter one. We are introduced to the Heroine of Time, and Natsu has arrived in Hyrule.
